Wonderful experience

This review is a little late (better late than never) and I was reminiscing about our wedding and realized I left a review on The Knot but not wedding wire so here it is.

My now husband and I absolutely loved having our wedding at The Fox Hill Inn. My wedding vision was for a rustic theme, and while Fox Hill isn't quite rustic as it is a mansion, I was not disappointed. The staff, from our first meeting with Linda who did not rush us like other venues, and planning with Barbara was SO accommodating to what we wanted. They were very helpful! I LOVED how the reception look and feel came together and when I arrived at the reception for getting ready, I had to take a sneak peek and it was wow! I can't explain the excitement and how well everything came together and exceeded my expectation of my wedding vision. Our guests had so much fun and loved the food! My husband also loved the fact that the guys have a room to stay and get ready in, as all other places did not have this. He felt like they didn't forget about the guys! All in all, we had a wonderful, stress free wedding day at the Fox Hill Inn!

Amazing Venue

The Fox Hill Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the staff to the food and the picturesque landscape our day could not have been anymore perfect. Our wedding coordinator Barbara was amazing and ran our wedding smoothly from the time we had arrived until we had left. We were given the option from when we had chosen our date to rent the venue for the entire day (on a Saturday) which we jumped on! The bride and bridesmaids were able to get ready in the upstairs room of the Inn and were provided with champagne, strawberries and sweet bread while the groom and groomsmen had space available at the carriage house and were provided with beverages. Our guests still rave about how amazing and how much food there was at our cocktail hour - we opted to add the antipasti display, Tuscan station, Sushi station and Brazilian station on top of what was already offered during cocktail hour including seasonal fruits, vegetable crudités, imported and domestic cheeses, two hot chaffered dishes and passed hors d'oeuvres. Everyone also raved how delicious dinner and our cake were along with the gelato station. The open bar was a hit along with both the bride and groom custom cocktails they allowed us create. The space was great for our guests on the dance floor in the main dining room and the bar area was great for those who wanted to visit and use our photo booth. All of the staff working were professional kind and courteous. Barbara was super flexible as well with our drop off date and meetings to finalize our wedding day details. We were really happy that we were able to rehearse onsite the day before our wedding as well! The Fox Hill Inn made our day truly magical and I cannot have imagined a better venue for our wedding!

Dream wedding

We cannot say enough positive words about this incredible wedding venue! Barbara and Linda were outstanding in meeting our requests, helping us the day of, and making sure everything was perfect! We were so happy they allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams and have extended after hours with karaoke and late night stations. The food was incredible! My most critical foodies even gave us compliments saying it was one of the best rack of lamb they’d ever had. Service was impeccable and value was outstanding! We’d recommend them to anyone!

Great venue

We had our wedding at Fox Hill Inn yesterday, and we absolutely loved it. Linda and Barbara were so helpful throughout the entire planning process, and Debbie and Leslie were so helpful the day of! The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. Thank you so much for being part of our amazing day!

CT’s best kept secret for value and charm

Married in June, and our guests are STILL singing your praises! I’ve had so many people say that this is the best wedding they’ve ever been too!!! I’d have to agree—and it had nothing to do with me! I went very light on the details—no Pinterest projects here! Truly, Fox Hill Inn doesn’t need it. This venue is stunning all on its own. And the staff—good Lord. Our initial tour with Linda—seamlessly walked us through what our wedding day would look like—including a table fully set with napkins, dishes, and the included centerpiece of hurricane vase and votive candles. Once we had the walk through and found out everything that was included (so much food, the cake, open bar, a welcome champagne for guests that arrived early, nice chairs for the ceremony space, private cocktail hour for bridal party) we were SOLD. We had seen multiple other venues and NO ONE compared to the value AND charm you find here. The day of, we had an attendant for each of us and a day-of coordinator (Barbara!) that was present for rehearsal and the big day. She made sure everything ran smoothly (or at least took care of any hiccups so I wasn’t aware!) Food—amazing and lots of it. My chef and foodie friends LOVED everything. I was so full from cocktail hour that neither of us could finish our entree! Man, I could go on. Best venue, staff and food EVER.

Is there such a thing as a perfect consultation?

I just had the most amazing venue consultation ever, and we ended up booking with this venue because of the experience. We worked with Linda, she was so responsive to my emails, and answered all my questions, she was friendly and flexible. I couldn't say enough nice things about my experience.

Absolutely perfect wedding day!

We had looked at a number of venues before the Fox Hill Inn and after our visit, we knew it offered everything we wanted for a great value. Having a beautiful private venue for our wedding was just what we wanted, and the amount of space for guests to enjoy from the separate cocktail hour area, to the downstairs bar and outdoor area, made the wedding so comfortable for our guests. In our first meeting with Linda we talked about how the Fox Hill Inn would accommodate the personal touches we wanted and that was super important to us as some other venues were not very open to this. Working with Barbara our wedding coordinator was a breeze – she answered my (many!) questions quickly and she and the staff did such an incredible job on the day of the wedding setting up the ceremony space and venue with all our personal decorations just as we had discussed. Our guests have raved about the venue, the wonderful staff, and the delicious food! The food piece of our wedding was also very important to us and another reason we chose Fox Hill – they had a great variety for cocktail hour, many entrée options to pick from and late night food options for an extra special treat. They even worked with us to add miniature cream puffs to each person’s cake plate for a personal touch that related to our engagement story. The staff was wonderful, especially the bridal attendants who made sure I had everything I needed all evening long. We really cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience and truly had the wedding we dreamed of; everything was perfect. My husband and I keep saying we hope someone we know will get married here so we can now enjoy the experience at the Fox Hill Inn from a guest’s perspective!

The best venue and staff ever.

The Fox Hill Inn went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding day and everything leading up to it. One of the most important things to me as a bride was having open communication with our venue and ALL of the staff at FHI were always ready and willing to answer any and all questions for me (and believe me I had a ton throughout the process). They made the planning and execution of our wedding completely pain free, even providing bridal attendants on the day of that went as far as to bring my husband and I drinks AND FOOD outside during our pictures just so we weren't missing out/starving. I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about the staff. As far as the venue itself goes- it's breathtaking. We got so many compliments from our guests about how unique and gorgeous the place was- and one of the best parts is that the Inn has so much character itself you don't need to do a ton as far as decorations go. Finally- the food. OMG the food was outstanding. Again, we got SO many compliments on how amazing the food was. We are so thankful we made the decision to go with Fox Hill Inn for one of the most special days in our life and I cannot say enough good things about everyone there. My husband and I had our wedding at Fox Hill Inn on June 29th, 2018. My situation is unique, as I worked for the company and have worked many weddings at Fox Hill Inn, in the past. From the start I was treated with professionalism and genuine kindness. The whole Fox Hill staff made sure my wedding planning experience was as a Bride and not an employee. I was given the same amount of respect and guidance as all their clients. Because of this, I was able to truly enjoy my wedding day as a Bride and not feel like I was working the event.

Linda, Sean, and Barbara were incredible to work with. They answered all of my detailed questions and made sure I wasn't preoccupied with the timeline and wedding details on the wedding day. Debbie & Leslie were my bridal attendants and catered to my husband and I the whole night. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing duo to support us that day. Sean did a perfect job running the show as our Event Coordinator. He made sure all the food stations came out on time and that we kept on schedule the whole night. Linda was there to guide the whole the team and Barbara helped support the staff for the entire night.

Chef Al's cuisine was top notch. Our guests have personally contacted us to tell us just how delicious the food was throughout our wedding. From cocktail hour to the entrees, everything was simply amazing.

The service was outstanding. Our guests told us throughout the whole evening how attentive and efficient the staff was. I'd like to say thank you to all our servers, especially Juan, Dmitri, & Dale for their hard work. Thank you to our Bartenders, Brenda and Franklin, for all your hard work.

Overall, I would highly recommend Fox Hill Inn for your wedding or special event. The whole team will make sure have a phenomenal experience from start to finish.

I cannot think of one bad thing to say about the Fox Hill Inn. We got married 4/13/18 and lucked out with a gorgeous 82 degree day. The garden was set up beautifully to set the scene. Sean and Lina were beyond helpful and accomodating for both the bride, bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen. The food was delicious! they were able to accomodate my Vegan diet. The inside was perfect for 125 -150 guests. We highly reccomend having your event here!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Fox Hill Inn on Saturday, April 14th and loved every moment of our special day. I would highly recommend the venue to anyone who is looking for a beautiful setting, food that your guests will rave about and the little personal touches that matter most.

We had originally booked our wedding with the previous director Patty. Though we really liked the former director, the new director Linda was absolutely wonderful. She has been with the company for many years and after taking a casual position due to family needs, is back full time in the well-deserved role of director. Linda ensured that our wedding was everything we envisioned.

One of my bridesmaids, my cousin, may not have been able to be in or even attend our wedding, if it wasn’t for Linda. My cousin had a stem cell transplant for leukemia last summer and cannot be in crowds yet. Linda went above and beyond to accommodate her and made it possible for her to be part our big day. Linda provided outdoor accommodations for my cousin, set up special seating, had a private bathroom specially sanitized and also had an attendant assigned to my cousin, so she was taken care of throughout the day. When Linda first mentioned how she wanted to and would accommodate my cousin, it brought tears to my eyes. She didn’t have to offer to do anything to accommodate my cousin. Our wedding was booked, paid for and coming up quickly. Yet Linda helped me have my family at my side for our wedding. The day simply wouldn’t have been the same without my cousin there and I have Linda to thank for that. She and the Fox Hill staff were amazing with our families, our guests and us.

Thank you to Linda and all of the Fox Hill staff for everything you did to make our wedding day even more special than we imagined it could be!

I don’t even know where to start, from start to finish, my experience with the Fox Hill Inn was truly AMAZING. Patty, Linda, Sean and the rest of the Fox Hill Inn staff are truly the most helpful, kind group of people that really care about your event, I knew I was in good hands the very first moment I toured the facility. Working with the Fox Hill Inn for my wedding felt like working with family, never once did I doubt the success of my wedding, and just like I thought, my day was absolutely perfect and unforgettable. I cannot say thank you enough to the staff of the Fox Hill Inn.

Family and friends are still raving about how good the food was, from the cocktail hour to the main meal and cake– everything was absolutely delicious. Nothing felt rushed and everyone received a hot meal.

I 100% recommend the Fox Hill Inn for any couple looking to have amazing wedding.

I cannot say enough about this venue and staff! From the moment we met Patty during the tour, we knew they would go above and beyond to make our day as special as it could possibly be! The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and the pictures do not do justice. But what I would really like to rave about (things you don't see in the pictures) is how professional everyone has been. Brian was there whenever I needed him during the planning process and helped guide me in making the right decisions (which is very helpful when I am indecisive). Both him and Patty always greeted me with such happiness that it made me feel like they were truly just as happy for me to get married as I was! The food... WOW!!! I was a little nervous at first coming from NYC and never having been to the Fox Hill Inn - but it did not disappoint! To this day my guests are still raving about the food! Barbara was also extremely helpful when managing vendors, invoices and stepping in when Brian was out of the office. And the day of could not have been more fabulous! Again, Brian and Patty showed so much love and happiness it really made us feel special! Brian was so professional during the rehearsal making sure everyone knew what to do, even where to place your hands and direction to face! I also could 100% rely on him during the reception to make sure he stayed on schedule. As a bride and a guest at your own wedding, it is very easy to lose track of time and go off schedule, but he made sure to grab me when I was needed. This made it so nice and I was actually able to mingle and enjoy my own wedding. I only wish I could get married again to do it all over at the Fox Hill again! THANK YOU OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

We could not have picked a more perfect place to have our wedding than the Fox Hill Inn. From the moment we walked in to view the venue, the staff was warm, accommodating our every need and couldn't be more lovely. We left there and about an hour later drove back to make our deposit. We were one hundred percent sure it was the right place for us and now having experienced our wedding there, I would say it is one of the best venues to get married in CT, if not THE best venue. I have very severe dietary restrictions due to medical issues and Brian Potter at the Fox Hill Inn did everything in his power to make sure that there was enough food I could eat and even arranged for me to have a special meal. The bridal attendants were nothing short of spectacular, taking care of me and my bridal party every step of the way. I had really wanted to have pickle back shots for the wedding party and Brian made sure we had a special place to celebrate in this way. The food was out of this world, the setting is a perfect vintage/rustic feel, with elegance and charm and the staff phenomenal. Patty and Brian answered every single email I sent (and there were many), always putting me at ease. And the best thing was, I am a professional producer, and I was able to step out of that role and just be present and enjoy every moment the day of because everything was so organized and run seamlessly with Brian at the helm. The Fox Hill Inn provided everything I could have ever asked for, even setting up and breaking down our abundant signs and decorations prior to the ceremony and afterwards. I cannot recommend the Fox Hill Inn enough. They made our dream wedding a reality!

Our wedding at the Fox Hill Inn was literally a dream come true! Brian, Patty and the whole Fox Hill Staff were incredible and went above and beyond in making sure our wedding was just as we imagined it! From the moment we arrived at Fox Hill the day of the wedding, everyone was so attentive, helpful and prepared in making sure every task was completed and everything we needed was taken care of. Not only was the service impeccable, but the food was extraordinary too! Brian seamlessly worked with all of vendors to ensure that everything ran smoothly and made sure that my husband and I were having the night of our lives. I could not have imagined a more beautiful or better venue to have my wedding at!!!

Most amazing place to have a wedding. staff is fabulous to work with, food delicious , make your dreams come true by having your wedding here. brian potter and patti finegan are just the best people to work with and the entire staff works as hard as possible to do whatever is necessary to make the day a success. as the mother of the bride i could not have been more pleased with the day and so were the bride and groom. i think this is the best wedding venue in CT and everyone should consider checking out the Fox Hill Inn before they make their final selection. No one who used the Fox Hill Inn will be disappointed.

Patty, Brian, Barbara and the entire Fox Hill Inn Staff are the best in the business!

They went above and beyond to make my wedding amazing. The day was absolutely perfect in every way. I can't express enough how happy Matt and I are about how the day went. Our guests will not stop telling us how incredible everything was - especially how delicious the food was and how exceptional the service was. Both our parents can't stop talking about all the compliments they've been receiving.

From helping us with the touring of the venue, planning of the wedding with our in-person meetings, to the big day, Fox Hill did everything to make Matt and I feel special. We appreciate their attention to detail and how they made everything so easy throughout the day.

On a personal note, I was so nervous when I arrived and everyone at Fox Hill helped make me feel comfortable and welcome. I will be forever grateful for their kindness on my wedding day.

I will never forget how perfect my wedding day was, and that is completely because of all of the Fox Hill Inn Staff. Any bride would be lucky to have her wedding here!

Absolute dream wedding! Patty, Brian, Barbara, Leslie and the staff were nothing but helpful from the first tour to our wedding day. Brian was a dream to work with and so much fun. The fun we had that the rehearsal was a just a taste of what was to come on the wedding day. The staff is above professional, attentive and a delight to work with. We couldn't fault anything. The food was out of this world. From cocktail hour to cake our guests could not stop raving about the food. I don't think I have seen plates cleared off so fast ever. I felt like an absolute princess that day and the staff played a huge part in that. We had a sitter with our infant daughter in the bridal suite during the reception nd Leslie made sure the sitter was taken care of. This venue is a well oiled machine that leaves you free to enjoy the wedding. I truly was able to relax, dance, enjoy the food and have a great time. Thanks again to Fox Hill Inn for making us feel like we were royalty. The venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding the amount of our guests who are raving about your venue is testament to that. Thank you for being part of such an important day and helping make my dream wedding come true.

Patty, Brian, and the team at the Fox Hill Inn went above and beyond to make our wedding day spectacular. Multiple guests told us that our wedding was one of, if not the best, wedding that they had ever been to. The staff at the FHI are friendly, responsive, very knowledgeable, attentive to details, etc... I could go on. We had our daughter and future son-in-laws engagement party at The Fox Hill Inn. We had an amazing party! Patty and Brian went over and above to make the party special. The food was delicious and the staff was professional and helpful.
The Fox Hill Inn is a beautiful stately venue which is warm, inviting and elegant.

They really do an amazing job at the Fox Hill Inn, from the food to the decor and the service. Everything felt right when we toured the facility. It was more beautiful than it comes across in photos online. The price was reasonable, especially compared to other venues which we didn't feel offered as much. We chose a Friday wedding in November. They only host 1 wedding on Fridays so we were able to arrive 2 hours early, which really helped put me at ease. Coordinators, Brian and Patti, were amazingly helpful and pleasant to work with. Brian really did go above and beyond including allowing me to set up some of my personalized decor the night of our rehearsal dinner on the night before the wedding. Brian was prompt in his responses to any question I had no matter how small. Our guests had only glowing remarks about our wedding for weeks to follow. One said it felt like she was attending a wedding in our home. The venue is warm and inviting, set up like a grand house with a great flow to it. We had our ceremony outside and it made for stunning photos even though it was a chilly November day. The aspect we received the most positive feedback on was the food! Everything in cocktail hour was amazing! (Even though we were so busy we didn't try most of it until the following day from the leftover box they gave us) The most frequent comment we got was about the mashed potato bar and grilled cheese station, which we added to cocktail hour. The entrees were all delicious. We chose filet mignon, stuffed sole, and chicken Oscar. The white cake with white chocolate and strawberry mousse filling was the best wedding cake I've had at a wedding and so was the fruity champagne. I could go on and on. My only regret is that the day went by so quickly and my husband and I were so busy that night. We wish we could go back and attend our wedding as guests!

We cannot put into words how much we love the Fox Hill Inn! They made our wedding day the most special day of our lives. Brian, Patty, and Barbara were so incredibly helpful during the entire year of planning. The day of went as smooth as possible and that is only due to the staff. Brian handled all issues with ease and professionalism. Our guests have not stopped talking about the beautiful atmosphere, the amazing food, and the incredible staff. One guest said he has never had a better meal at a wedding. We had our wedding December 3rd and the venue was decorated beautifully with lights, garland, ribbons, a Christmas tree, and the lighting outside was beautiful. We absolutely love this venue and will recommend it to anyone planning a wedding! This staff is the best in business and helped coordinate everything. They were so helpful and eliminated all of my anxiety! Thank you so much FHI!

We did our ceremony and reception here. Brian and his team were amazing. So nice and easy to work with. They made sure everything was done and we were happy. The day of our wedding if anything went wrong I didn't know about it. It was easy planning with him. All of our guests enjoyed the venue and raved about the food. We did cookies at the end for everyone to take with then, and they packed up the extras for us to take. Everyone there from our first meeting to our last was just great. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

We were looking for a wedding venue with a unique look, intimate feel, and with high quality service. We definitely received that at The Fox Hill Inn. We were married here 10-8-16. Brian, Patty, Barbara and all other staff help to make sure everything is set up and goes off without a hitch. All of our guests were well taken care of. They all said how beautiful the venue was, the food was delicious, and service was top notch. The Fox Hill Inn team helped to make our wedding day the best day of our lives. I would highly recommend!

Fox hill inn was the perfect place for our wedding. They were very flexible and accomadating. It was such a pleasure working with Patty and Brian. They truly ran a great show, their staff was A+ and the food was excellent! When our day was over, I tried to express my gratitude to Brian but couldn't say thank you enough. They were on top of everything, and made sure my husband and I ate our meal as well. We have heard nothing but compliments for our big day and it feels great. I would reccommend the fox hill inn to anyone!

Gorgeous!!! I couldn't be happier with The Fox Hill Inn. Not only is the actual facility stunning, but the food is delicious, and the staff is beyond amazing. I never had to worry about anything, because it was obvious that Brian (our Maitre d), Patty and Barbara (the fantastic women in the office), the bridal attendants, and ever staff member had everything under control. I absolutely recommend The Fox Hill Inn to anyone planning the wedding of their dreams, or any other event.

We are beyond happy that we chose the Fox Hill Inn as our wedding venue!! From the moment my husband and I looked at this venue for the first time a year and a half ago we knew this was the one for us. It brought us back to a different era, and the whole set up was so intimate and perfect. Patty was one of the nicest people we have ever met- she gave us the tour of the mansion and the grounds. She was so warm and inviting and we instantly knew this is who we wanted to work with. Brian who worked with Patty was amazing as well! He responded very quickly to all the millions of emails I sent out, and always gave me peace at mind that everything was going to go smoothly. He worked with our huge bridal party during rehearsal and the day of the wedding, and we all loved how friendly and organized he was. Patty and Brian were so helpful the day of the wedding and we are blown away with all the wonderful service. We had two amazing bridal attendants with us that continuously made sure we had enough food and always had a drink in our hand. I really felt like a princess and had a smile on my face the whole entire day. All of our guests were raving about how delicious the food was and everyone has been telling us it best wedding they have been to! I wish we could get married all over again and re-live this perfect day! Thank you again Fox Hill Inn!!!

We cannot thank The Fox Hill Inn enough for our amazingly perfect wedding day! I have never had such great food and service at any other venue!! Brian and his team were so unbelievable and right by our side the entire day! We felt no stress about anything during the night! They were incredibly kind, efficient, flexible and accommodating through out our wedding night!! My guests are still talking about the beautiful venue and amazing staff and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Thank you to Brian and all the staff at The Fox Hill Inn! We are beyond thrilled that we chose The Fox Hill Inn as our wedding venue. From the minute we came for a tour to the end of our wedding night, our experience with Fox Hill has been nothing short of perfect and we could not be happier with our day. The venue itself is gorgeous, which made for stunning pictures. The staff is amazing--friendly, organized, and thorough. Planning our wedding was a breeze because the staff kept us calm, advised us when we need advice and made sure everything went off without a hitch (and considering that it started to rain minutes before our outdoor ceremony, that's saying something!). Brian, Patty and Barbara are just exceptional. For weeks, guests have been complimenting the service, the food, the grounds and the entire ambiance of our location. We could not be more pleased with Fox Hill and are really hoping we get invited to a wedding there so we can enjoy it as guests!

I fell in love with the venue almost as soon as I puled into the parking lot. When one of my bride's maids saw it, she said it was so perfect...it was exactly what she would have chosen for me but didn't know it existed. In fact, I loved it so much, I went to work for them.

We never thought we'd be able to do it - plan our dream wedding in 26 days. The Fox Hill Inn may be a venue, but to us it is more. The staff has a special place in our hearts for making our dream come true. From being so attentive to our needs, to understanding our situation and for taking the stress off of us. The Fox Hill Inn was a dream venue, I fell in love it the moment I saw it. It is such a beautiful place, you really feel like you are in another world. We had our wedding in December and the décor was absolutely beautiful. Brian, Patty and the staff were amazing to work with and incredibly accommodating. The food is delicious; one guest told us the filet was better than any he had had a steakhouse. The Fox Hill Inn made our wedding more wonderful than we could have ever even imagined.

We had an amazing experience while working with the Fox Hill Inn for our November 21st wedding. I am so happy with how everything turned out. Brian and the whole staff at Fox Hill Inn were amazing. We had our wedding during the daytime this past October and it was just perfect! I enjoyed working with Patty & Barbara on all the details and I can't say enough about Leslie & Briana, our bridal attendants on the big day. They were right at our side each step of the way -- getting food & drinks, helping with photo ops, and occasionally calming nerves! The Inn as a venue is wonderful and the food was also excellent... everyone was raving!

I loved this place the first moment I saw it, I knew it was what we were looking for. The Fox Hill Inn really is a beautiful venue -it was just the feel we were looking for. Wow. I cannot say enough about the Fox Hill Inn. From our first visit and meeting with Patty, my husband, parents and I knew that this was the perfect place for our wedding. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate special requests really sets them apart from everywhere else that we looked. We worked with Brian as our coordinator throughout the year, and he was absolutely AMAZING. He always promptly and thoroughly answered my questions (which came about once a week for months via e-mail), which helped to ease much of the stress around planning our wedding. I ordered a groom's cake made of cheese, and he coordinated with the cheese shop to have it delivered and stored a day before our wedding. I also asked to bring in our own bread and cookies from the bakery my family owns, and he worked with us to make sure that this was set. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and the food was incredible-- I have heard from many of our guests that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Most importantly, I and my family truly felt like guests at the wedding. Once the day started, everything was taken care of and I didn't have to worry about a THING -- there was always a drink in my hand, if I lost track of my bouquet, it was always handed right back to me, Brian handed us napkins to wipe our hands after the cake cutting, our sparkler sendoff was perfectly coordinated… every single detail was taken care of and we could just enjoy the night, which was such a gift. My only regret is that the night went much too quickly!

The team at the Fox Hill Inn is world-class.. and I cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else!

The Fox Hill Inn was one of the first 4 or 5 venues we toured about 2 years ago. It was the only one that we had the feeling about and we booked our wedding a few days after. We're so thankful we did! Despite my mother and mother-in-law complaining about having our wedding in Connecticut (we're from New York), everything about our wedding was perfect last weekend! The venue was just the perfect setting for not only our reception, but for our ceremony right out by the fountain as the sun set. The service was impeccable the entire event - many of our guests even made it a point to tell us so afterwards! Brian and Patty were key in helping us plan and execute our wedding. And our attendants the day of were awesome. We cannot thank the entire Fox Hill Inn team enough for everything in hosting our wedding. It was truly a memorable evening that flew by way too fast!

My husband and I were married at the FoxHill Inn in Brookfield, CT. in the Fall of 2015. The venue, staff, and service were absolutely amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous, has a great multi-floor lay-out, and has ample space. The actual staff worked with us for over 2 years on coordinating our vision and the logistics of our wedding. They were very attentive to detail, navigated us through the wedding day impeccably, and made sure all of our guests had an excellent experience. Additionally, the food provided at the venue (both cocktail hours and food during the reception) was delicious! It was a true pleasure to work with the FoxHill Inn and we would highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a beautiful, well-coordinated, and amazing wedding. The FoxHill Inn made our “day” become the most memorable days our lives!

From our first meeting with Patty, the Manager at Fox Hill Inn, we knew this was the venue for us! I can't say enough good things about this venue. The staff, service, food, and professionalism were beyond my wildest expectations. Their pricing was very reasonable and the level of service and quality of the food were what you would expect from a venue charging much more. Brian our event coordinator and Barbara were so amazingly professional and listened to everything we wanted. I am a designer, and it was tough for me to give up control to other people, but the entire team at Fox Hill was fantastic with executing every one of my requests, and even surprising me with some things my obsessive planning hadn't thought of! Brian and Patty were there throughout the wedding, running a very tightly coordinated event, and all of our guests commented on the food first, then the level of service. They all made a perfect day even more special! I wish there were 10 stars to give The Fox Hill Inn and the entire team there!

The Fox Hill Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. Brian was a PHENOMENAL coordinator and made sure our day went extremely smoothly, with everything running perfectly throughout the night. Whenever I was feeling nervous or had questions (and I had many) he always responded promptly and put me at ease. We seriously did not have one thing go wrong and even if it did we had no idea because of the fantastic staff at Fox Hill. The atmosphere was perfect and the outdoor ceremony beautiful. The food was fantastic and all dietary needs were easily and accurately accounted for. People are still talking about the steak as well as the raw bar station at the cocktail hour and the uniqueness of the dessert station at the end. People LOVED the cordials and coffee with chocolate shot glasses at the end of the night. We are SO GRATEFUL that we chose Fox Hill. Huge thank yous go to Patty and Brian - we had the most beautiful, perfect, fun day. The Fox Hill Inn was fantastic and we would recommend it to anyone for their wedding day or event!

The Fox Hill Inn made my wedding day and reception absolutely perfect from beginning to end! Patty, Brian and Barbara are the perfect team and they make the entire process stress-free and flow so perfectly to the wedding day. My family is still raving about how AMAZING all of the food was and how attentive ALL of the staff are. I had two relatives in wheelchairs and the staff was super accommodating on my wedding day and made sure both of those relatives were comfortable and received anything they needed. We were treated like royalty the whole night, and they set up my guest book table, place cards, photos I brought, and wedding favors on the tables so perfectly. The Fox Hill Inn exceeded my expectations for how perfect my wedding reception was going to be and are a perfect professional, genuine, compassionate staff. They are they best at what they do and they love doing it! I would highly recommend The Fox Hill Inn as the venue for anyone's wedding. Their prices are truly the best and they have so many fun and yummy stations that they set up beautifully during cocktail hour and dessert. I can't thank the Fox Hill Inn enough for making my wedding day absolutely perfect in every way possible...my vision for my wedding came true because of their excellence!!

The Fox Hill Inn really made our dream wedding come true! We are beyond impressed with how perfect everything was and are so grateful to all the staff because we wouldn't have been able to do it without them!! Not only is the venue beautiful the entire staff truly cares about your wedding and is beyond accommodating to make sure everything is just the way you envisioned it. Brian was our coordinator and was beyond easy to work with. He was so quick to respond to my millions of questions and always did it with a smile. Brian truly made us feel special and cared about our wedding day and we are forever grateful to him. On top of the amazing staff, all of my guests keep raving about the food, I have guests saying it is the best filet they ever had!!!! I cannot say enough about how perfect The Fox Hill Inn is and my husband I our so lucky they were a part of our day. My husband and I are so thrilled with our experience at The Fox Hill Inn. It was the first venue we visited after getting engaged and we fell in love immediately with the romantic mansion setting. Both Brian and Patty were so helpful and accommodating to any questions or requests that we had, and really every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to be helpful. The food was absolutely phenomenal and are guests were raving about how great everything was all night. Several people told us it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to!

The Fox Hill Inn was amazing. All of our guests enjoyed themselves. Fox Hill made our day amazing! Every single person we worked with from the initial meeting until the wedding day were wonderful. They truly made the planning super easy and went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly for us. Patty was the sweetest woman ever and was so helpful and Brian kept the night flowing and made everyone comfortable. The bride/groom attendants were like little ninjas that would just pop up with drinks and snacks before you even needed them. We got to meet the chef at the end of the night and I had to hug him for making all of the delicious food. Really – it’s delicious. We got so many compliments on the venue, service, and dinner….we are debating crashing a wedding so we can experience it as guests! ~Melissa and Eddie 3.14.15~

I don't even know where to begin! A friend of mine got married at the Fox Hill Inn a few years ago and suggested that we check out the place when we were having trouble finding a venue we liked. My husband and I loved the venue instantly. It was small and cozy without looking like a house wedding. At first, we had problems with communication with our coordinator, but he ended up leaving and that was the best thing that could have happened. Brian, our new coordinator, was AMAZING. From the second I walked in on the day of the wedding, everyone was at hand to help me without being overbearing. They even helped with some of the more delicate situations, like uninvited guests showing up. The food (what I actually ate of it haha) was delicious and everyone was raving about it. The cake was truly amazing, both in taste and design. For the ceremony, we had originally planned to have it outside but it was raining, so we opted to have it inside the oak room which was just gorgeous. This place easily could've charged more for their excellent services. All of our guests thought it cost us at least double of what we actually paid. I would HIGHLY recommend the Fox Hill Inn for your wedding reception!

My wedding at the Fox Hill Inn had all the intimacies and comforts of a wedding at home and all the elegance and service of the finest catering venues. I absolutely loved the food, as did my guests. The staff even packed my husband and I to go boxes to really be able to enjoy the meal at the hotel after our reception. The staff were courteous, professional and polite. Linda the maitre'd was attentive but not overbearing; she presided over the festivities without being seen which contributed towards the polished presentation of the whole affair.

The facilities are immaculate. The bathrooms were recently renovated prior to our wedding and they were redone tastefully and elegantly. My favorite part of this venue is their flexibility. They truly catered to our wishes, allowing us to fully customize our menu and even providing pitchers of sangria on every table for our latin themed party.

If your wedding style is understated elegance in an intimate and classy setting Fox Hill Inn is the place for your special day.

I think I am one of the very few that can say they had a prefect wedding. The Fox Hill Inn's staff was amazing. From the food on the tables to the ladies following me around all night ( I was never without a drink or lip stick). It was a dream come true. Planning the wedding I was in constant communication with Brian, Patty and Barbara. Questions were followed up by the end of the day or in the morning email. They were very accommodating to any and all of my special needs (gluten free guests, decorations, pictures). My guest commented on how beautiful the venue was (clean and comfortable) and how home like it felt (not at all like a wedding hall that's cold and dark). One of the big things for me picking a venue was that I was the only wedding that day. The Fox Hill Inn only has one event on Fridays and Sundays. I Pick the Sunday so I would be able to pick my start time. I also like the fact that the events were in more then one room. I had my ceremony in the Oak room (fire place setting) then my cocktail hour was up stairs while I was taking photos and then the reception was in a different room. It was a good transition from one event to the next (no waiting for staff to turn over the room). Another great bonus that I found with the Fox Hill Inn was that it came with a lot more then all the other venues. They had great chairs, offer seating numbers, place cards and mail box. I noticed it was the small details that made this the prefect venue for me. I really got whatever it was that I wanted. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I got married on 10-12-14 and had my reception at The Fox Hill inn. This Venue is absolutely amazing from the staff, decor, and of course food! My guests are still raving about it! The staff is so professional. Patty and Brian are awesome they both get back to you very quickly and make sure everything is perfect for your special day! The food was amazing. Most people are usually not happy with "wedding food" but with The Fox Hill that is not the case at all! The filet mignon is to die for along with all of the delicious appetizers during the cocktail hour. I highly recommend this venue to any bride!

Wonderful venue!!! Very responsive, they were always quick to return calls/emails when we had a question or needed something. They even stayed late to meet on a few occasions due to our work schedule! When it came to the big day...they were AMAZING, the service was great, everything went flawlessly. The staff was wonderful, friendly, attentive. The food was awesome and the cake looked and tasted great too! All included, including open bar. They worked with food restrictions from some of our guest too! I highly recommend them for any event... Especially a wedding...we couldn't have asked for more from them!!!

I just had my wedding on August 1st and could not have had a better experience. From the first moment we met with Patty and the rest of the staff.
Anytime I sent an email or made a phone call everyone was very happy and willing to help.
Not only was the staff helpful but the atmosphere was perfect. It is a beautiful setting set back in a quiet neighborhood.

Our daughter and son in law had their wedding at the Fox Hill Inn on Saturday July 19, 2014. What a fantastic day it was for us all! The entire experience, from when we booked 1.5 years ago was flawless. Patty, Devin, Patricia, the chef and the bridal assistants were professional and could not do enough for us. This staff is to be commended for impeccable service. The setting is private, with only one wedding at a time. The grounds, with the trees and flowers are stunning for a ceremony and pictures. Everyone raved about the food. Thank you for making Kim and Kevin's special day the wedding of their dreams!

The Fox Hill Inn did a fantastic job with my daughter's wedding. When we first went to the Fox Hill Inn last year we got such a good feeling from the facility manager Patty from the very first conversation we had with her. She was pleasant, helpful and friendly not to mention very professional. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. My daughter and her then fiancé were very excited by the fact that there would be only their event going on at that time. So attention to detail and service was paramount. During all our communication and meetings we felt that they understood what we were looking for and I must say that we were not disappointed. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. The room was set up beautifully with attention to detail as we wanted and expected even after we had some last minute changes with a table or two. They were great. I commend the work of Devin who managed the function every step of the way and was there with me the whole day. Anything I needed was done immediately although I didn't need to ask for much because Devin was right on top of things. It was such a good feeling to have him there. It made me relax knowing that IT was handled. His assistant Patricia was also very accommodating and responsive to our needs and desires. The willingness of the entire staff to please and service this event was so impressive. My son-in-law (the Groom) said to me after the wedding that the venue exceeded his expectations and that both him and my daughter were so happy with everything that took place that day and that they really enjoyed their wedding. That's what this was all about. Made me very happy. I would like to commend Patty, Devin, Patricia, Chef and the entire staff on a job well done. I am so appreciative of the service you provided and will surely be recommending your company to everyone I know. Thank you so much.

We got married at The a Fox Hill Inn on April 26th. Our wedding was everything that we could have dreamed! The venue is so beautiful and I love that your wedding is the only one they due at a time! The attendance were so attentive, they knew what I needs before I did! Our guests can not stop raving about how great the food and service were. Unfortunately it rained on our wedding day, Devon knew I had my heart set on an outdoor wedding, and came to ask me 10 minutes before the ceremony started if I still wanted to try outside. They really go above and beyond to make your dreams a reality!

Anyone who asks I would tell them to definitely go there! 2 future brides that were at my wedding are now thinking they will go there... And they live in NY as do I!

The fox hill in made our special day unforgettable! We felt loved and taken care of from the minute we first toured and booked our event. Our ceremony wAs beautiful and every detail was perfect. The fox hill inn did an amazing job of setting up all of our little decorative details. Devon and Patricia were lovely to work with and were there for our every need. I am so glad I chose the Fox Hill Inn for our reception. Not only is it gorgeous and classic - but it has the most amazing people on staff. Linda was so helpful as I planned our wedding, and was a saint on the big night. Her team was there for me all evening - and they assisted my family and bridal party with anything they needed. The food is fantastic - like really delicious. They are so willing to do anything to make your night perfect - if you dream it, they can do it. And they are so amenable to kids, the elderly or any issues you have. The team at the Fox Hill Inn are pros and eased a lot of the stress of wedding planning. I have only wonderful things to say about this venue - you can't go wrong!!

I just want to say how appreciative I am of the Fox Hill Inn. The entire staff was incredibly supportive and responsive to every question or concern I had. I booked the Fox Hill over a year before my wedding and over that year I contacted them multiple times with questions about decorations and all sorts of wedding inquiries and each one was answered by Brian at the office within hours of my email. The way that made me feel was indescribable. Any time I got stressed or worried their reaction and timely response would always put me back at ease. When it came down to the weekend prior I needed to bring in all of my decorations and things and some had not arrived. Linda made sure I knew I could bring them in any time prior to the wedding and they would be taken care of. On the wedding rehearsal day I was introduced to Patricia. Her honest responses and quick wit really made me feel even better for choosing the Fox Hill inn. She listened and made sure that all the decorations were taken care of and placed in the correct areas. I had little bark cones hanging during my ceremony and she had the great idea to bring them in and put them above the gorgeous fireplace. I also had luminaries for the cocktail hour tables and she also gave me the idea to bring them downstairs after the cocktail hour and put them around the wedding hall. The lighting in the Fox Hill was also beautiful and really set the mood to my fall themed wedding. I cannot express how happy I was with the Fox Hill inn. On your wedding day you need support and they are an amazing group of people all working hard to support you on that day, make you feel special and you will thanks to them. Great value as well in comparison to the other 3 hotels in this system of Connecticut wedding venues. We went to see the Candlewood lake inn right after seeing the Fox Hill inn and the Candlewood was 30 dollars more per person on the same day! Also the food was absolutely amazing. All my guests complimented us on the food!

The food was great. The service to us, the bride and groom was awesome, as well as to our guests. Some of our older guests didn't want to do the stairs to go to cocktail hour upstairs, so the staff set up a little table downstairs for them by the sofa where they were sitting and brought down all of the hors d'oevres that were being served upstairs. It was a gloomy day out the day of our wedding, but the staff was very accommodating, setting up chairs both inside and outside and allowing us to wait til the last minute to decide whether or not we were going to have it outside or inside. Overall, it was definitely worth it for us to get married here because pretty much everything was taken care of outside of the photographer, florist, and DJ.

From start to finish, The ENTIRE staff at The Foxhill INN was amazing. If they didn't have Louis working on my wedding day, I would have never been able to walk down the isle because my dress zipper broke and he was able to repair it!!!! Everyone was very attentive, outgoing, friendly, and the wait staff was awesome to all my guests. ALL of my guests were impressed with all who worked there and couldn't say enough great things about the venue and staff. It was decorated very classy, and the food was fantastic. My only comment would be that it happened way to quick and I would like to do it again, just so I could savor the day one more time.

The Fox Hill was wonderful!! The staff was so very helpful and attentive. My husband and I could not have been happier with them. It was a 95+ degree day with an outdoor ceremony and outdoor pictures. During the pictures before the ceremony they brought out ice cold water and chilled towels to cool off. They helped my husbands' grandparents find a shady spot to sit during the ceremony. During the reception they were equally as wonderful! We didn't want for anything! They were always there if we needed anything!

The staff at Fox Hill Inn was the best! Everyone was very accommodating and wanted to make sure that everything was done the way that I envisioned it to be. Having our wedding at the Fox Hill Inn was by far the best decision we made about the wedding. The staff was so incredibly helpful and professional and the service was impeccable. Linda and Brian were so helpful leading up to the event and Linda and Patty (ceremony coordinator) did an amazing job with the details and schedule the day of for the ceremony and reception. The staff at the Fox Hill Inn was extremely helpful, accommodating, and paid great attention to detail. Service was timely and there was ample staffing to serve our guests. The ice cream sundae bar and the make your own burger bar were both big hits and our guests raved about the food overall. We had a great experience and our guests have raved that it was one if the best weddings they have been to. My best friend actually just booked her wedding here too in July!

The ENTIRE staff made us and all our guests feel welcomed. They set the tone for an amazing wedding for my daughter! Between Linda and Brian getting all the details correct to Patty making sure the bridal party was taken care of and to our private seamstress Leslie who solved wedding dresses alterations to a strawberry stain on the white flower girl dress. We just had our 25th wedding celebration at the Fox Hill Inn. We could not have been happier!!! The food - awesome --(wish I had taken the time to eat more). My husband was so busy talking and visiting with all our friends, he hadn't eaten and Linda, the coordinator, asked me his favorites and made a dish and brought it to him. A friend had dropped her fork on the floor and the staff noticed and had another fork there in no time. The place is beautiful, everyone raved from food to service to atmosphere. Again, we were extremely pleased. I am not quick to give 5 stars across the board, but our event turned out amazing!

We had our wedding on 4/7/13 and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue and staff. Linda made planning enjoyable, Brian made all the paperwork painless, and Patty made sure the entire day went smoothly. My attendants were amazing and handled every small hiccup with grace. If it weren't for Leslie stepping in as a makeshift seamstress, my dress wouldn't have fit so perfectly! My wedding was the wedding of my dreams thanks to these people and I couldn't think of a better team to work with. It doesn't hurt that the building is beautiful and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend the Fox Hill Inn to any brides looking for an amazing venue with an attention to detail that wants an all inclusive place without the wedding factory feel.

We unfortunately had to change our plans for our first look because it was raining, but FH let us come hours before our ceremony to do our first look there (only because our wedding was a Friday evening).

Toward the end of the night, the bar noticed that the beer that my husband and his groomsmen were consuming was running low, so they saved them a separate stash so they could continue to drink it all night. It was very much appreciated!

The attendants did an AMAZING job of helping us pack our things at the end of the night and the next day we came to pick up the rest of our belongings. The FH was very accommodating and found all the things I accidentally left behind, including my veil.

A few of our guests were unable to walk up the stairs to join the rest of the guests during the cocktail hour, but they were very well accommodated with an extra table and plenty of hors d'oeuvres. Our guests were very appreciative and impressed.

Overall, our experience was amazing!
