Best Decision I Made!

Let me start by saying - BOOK HER!! I was recommended to call the Flower Petaler by another florist who was booked for my wedding day. Meredith is not only amazing at her craft, but amazing as a human being! From the first time we spoke till the very end she was always there trying to make sure I got everything I wanted, how I wanted it. She went ABOVE and BEYOND in every way and then some. She's the sweetest to talk to and she truly does everything to get your vision right. My bouquet, my staircase flowers, everything she created was everything and more than what I wanted and hoped for on the day of my wedding. She also worked with me to stay within my budget and was honest and real about what everything would cost upfront so there wasn't any surprises or extras later. She was even like a therapist at times when everything else was going wrong in my planning process (outside the flowers). I would recommend her and her team every time and if I lived there, I'd use her for every event and every occasion that I needed flowers. You won't regret it!

Amazing, flexible and executed our vision perfectly!

Meredith was so great to work with and helped to bring our vision to life! We set a budget and she was able to maximize all the floral designs throughout our day - reusing and repurposing from one segment to the next. Her designs were gorgeous and she truly listened to all our preferences! Meredith and her team were pros and we highly suggest them!

We had an amazing experience with The Flower Petaler!

The Flower Petaler was recommended by my husband’s mom and it was a great reco because she’s the best! We met with a few different florists, but after meeting with Meredith, I knew I wanted to move forward with her, because she was just so sweet and knowledgeable. She truly made our vision come to life and added her own personal touches which made everything extra special. Her prices are also reasonable. Everything came out perfect and beautiful and I am so glad we went with her!

Meredith was unbelievable to work with! She spent time with us to really understand what we wanted and handled everything from dropping off the bouquets to dressing up our venue in her beautiful arrangements, making it not even a thought for us on the day of. Her talent and creative nature truly completed our wedding. My cousin had also used her for her own wedding in September and was just as happy. You will be in GREAT hands if you use the flower petaler for your next event!

Wonderful!

Best florist to work with

Working with Meredith was a dream!! I started working with her for my engagement party and she instantly got my vision! We worked together for 2 years planning my wedding and my god she exceeded my expectations!! From the ceremony to the reception, every little detail she puts so much time and effort into. When I saw everything complete I was so emotional. Working with Meredith is like working with family. Her and her team made sure every single flower was in place. My guests have not stopped talking about the flowers!!! She worked with our budget and made sure what was worth keeping and what wasn’t. She was my favorite vendor to work with by far. Amazing Experience

Meredith and her team turned my ideas into reality, even better than I could have imagined! From our first meeting on, Meredith was professional, flexible, and very knowledgeable. She offered great insight and I felt we were always on the same page. She is fair and stretches your budget so you get the most for your money. For example, she brought the flowers from the church pews after the ceremony to the venue to decorate a mantle and create a beautiful floral display. She used leftover flowers and greenery to decorate a table that was added very last minute to the floor plan. I appreciate all of Meredith's hard work and received so many compliments about the flowers.

stop looking and hire Meredith

Honestly I could cry thinking about how amazing and beautiful my flowers were. My best friend used Meredith for her wedding so I knew what she could do but every step of the process she impressed me and exceeded my expectations. I had a very specific vision that not only did she understand she made better with her ideas and suggestions. The flowers were all anyone could talk about and deservedly so -simply amazing. A passionate professional

Meredith is a true gem – her passion for her work is evident from the first consultation through to the finished product. After meeting with several florists, Meredith was a standout in the quality of her work, her attention to detail, and the care she took in explaining each step of the floral design process. Flowers can be a huge expense, but Meredith was flexible in working with our budget to ensure we were still able to include all the elements we wanted. She gave us honest advice about straightforward ways to save money, including purchasing our own centerpiece containers. At our mock-up appointment, she spent all morning with me, trying out different combinations and tweaking our plans for each arrangement until they were just right. She also understood and shared my determination to have no flowers go to waste and offered to have her staff move the ceremony flowers, including the trellis garland, into the reception space after the ceremony for no additional charge. On the day of the wedding, every bouquet and arrangement was flawless. I am so happy that we found Meredith and can’t recommend her enough!

If I could give the Flower Petaler 10 stars, I would. Meredith is wonderful. She works with you to design beautiful floral arrangements that are within your budget. Meredith met with my daughter and I, and with my daughter's input, designed beautiful table arrangements and bouquets. Out of all the vendors that I dealt with for my daughter's wedding, I had absolutely no stress with the Flower Petaler. Meredith is a professional and I was so happy with everything she did for my daughter's wedding. She helped make it a perfect day.

Meredith is one of a kind!

Meredith (The Flower Petaler) is seriously one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding. I was not really into flowers and didn't know much about them. I only knew what type I did not like and what color I wanted. Meredith was great and walked me through the entire process. She is really passionate about what she does and really cares about the final product. On the day of my wedding, she came by and showed me my flowers and added an extra type flower (that we did not previously discuss) that I LOVED. It was absolutely perfect! This was one of the best and easiest decisions I made during the wedding planning process!! Meredith was amazing at taking what little information I knew about flowers and greens and making the perfect bouquets, center pieces, and floral decorations for my wedding. She was able to give me options to stay in my budget and seasonal recommendations. I had seen four florists before speaking with Meredith and I was very concerned about what I was going to do. The second I did a consultation, I was sold! Meredith was helpful, supportive, and responsive during the whole process. During the sample appointment I was able to really see how everything was going to look and I could see Meredith’s talent! You must do a sample, it’s so reassuring to see that everything will be able to go smoothly and is one of the first examples of what your day will really look like (rather than all of your hopes and plans you have in your binder if your obsessively organized like me). The day of the wedding Meredith and her team were great and perfectly timely, we had no issues getting all of our drop offs and her team picked up our church pieces to reuse at the reception. Everyone loved the flowers and we had no issues with getting people to take them after the wedding. Also after our wedding my sister-in-law to be booked Meredith for her wedding in May ‘19. Their flowers were just as beautiful and a completely different style than what we had. All in all it was a great experience. I highly recommended Meredith!!!

Meredith did our floral arrangements for our wedding back in September 2018! I am a very indecisive person and I love everything! So I am not the easiest client. She was able to take all the crazy ideas I had in my head and turn them into magic! She really hit the nail on the head with what we wanted and what flowed with our theme! We couldn’t of been happier with every detail she put into everything! When We walked into my reception room, I cried because the centerpieces and floral arrangements on out cake really brought life to the room! I highly recommend Meredith! She will really take the time to sit with you and understand what you want and she is also honest, which I really appreciate! She has such a talent and it shows in everything she does!

When I first met Meredith, I had no idea where to begin. I had never ordered flowers before and had definitely never planned a wedding! Meredith took a look at my Pinterest board and helped me figure out what types of flowers I would like as well as what types of flowers would actually look good and would hold up in the heat of my July beach wedding.

She also found areas where I could save money by purchasing the boxes for my centerpieces myself or adding in candles to reduce the amount of flowers. I knew I could trust her and she wasn't just trying to add to my overall bill.

When I met her the 2nd time, she put together samples of my bouquets and centerpieces literally before my eyes. I couldn't believe how talented she was.

Finally, on the day of my wedding, I never had to even think about the flowers. She hand delivered my bouquets to the hotel and then went to the venue to ensure everything looked beautiful. She even added flowers to my cake!

I highly recommend The Flower Petaler for your wedding or special occasion.

This is the second time we have used Meredith, and her company, to provide flowers for our daughters wedding. She is wonderful. She took the time to listen to EXACTLY what Katie and Andrew wanted for their wedding, and the flowers, and the decorations, she provided for the chapel, and the reception hall, were beautiful. Not only were the flowers beautiful, they were so carefully arranged, and created especially for THIS event. There were some concerns about "HOW DO WE DO THIS EFFECT" and Meredith gave Katie and Andrew so many choices to choose from, all within their budget. She listened and she did exactly what they wanted, and EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL - the bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, the runner for the ceremony, the glass decorations for the Chuppah, and even the Chuppah itself. Everything was perfect. Thank you Meredith, for all your care and attention to detail.

My wedding was on 11/19/2017. Meredith was such a pleasure to work with. She's so considerate and understanding. She helped me bring my vision to life with my centerpieces, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, chuppah, aisle decorations... She made an incredible effort to really understand what I was going for and made it happen. And let me tell you, it was all GORGEOUS. Although I brought the ideas to the table, I would not have been able to actually execute it with such expertise and perfection as she did. She really appreciated what I wanted. She gave her constructive opinion when necessary, but she never tried to impose her personal preferences (which I experienced with another florist before deciding to work with Meredith). I was very picky about the type of vases that I wanted for the centerpieces...she offered what she had available (which is an enormous selection!) but because I wanted something very specific, she let me purchase my vases separately and was fine to use them! No complaints! (That earlier florist I mentioned who tried to impose her personal preferences, she didn't have the vases I wanted and would only let me pick from her selection.) Meredith was so accommodating when I kept adding new details, tweaking things last minute, or adding completely new pieces. The week before, we needed to add a whole new centerpiece because we added an additional table...and she made it happen without an issue! Let me also mention that I came to Meredith with a specific budget and she did everything she could to help me pick flowers and arrangements that fit within my budget while still being as close to what I wanted as possible. She never pressured me to spend more than what I was comfortable with!
Meredith does a great job and wants to make sure you're happy with what you get. You can tell that she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her customers! I highly recommend choosing Meredith (The Flower Petaler) for your next event!!!

Meredith was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding on September 30 of this year. From day one Meredith was super responsive to all of my ideas and was able to make my super vague vision an even better reality. On my wedding day, Meredith and her team were there bright and early to make sure I had my flowers for pre wedding photos. It was raining on and off throughout my wedding day and we made the call to have the wedding outside about 30 minutes before the ceremony started. Meredith miraculously pulled the whole ceremony together and it came out beautifully. All of my vendors commented on how gorgeous her flowers were and took her card. My guests can't stop talking about how unique and gorgeous my flowers were. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I would recommend Meredith to any bride-to-be.

I got married June 25th and three months later, my wedding guests are still talking about our flowers! Meredith was incredible to work with from start to finish and totally captured the vision I was going for. You HAVE to meet with Meredith! Save your valuable time, she will go above and beyond for you. I found her pricing to be almost half of another Huntington vendor. Her creative style and highly motivated work ethic will provide you a "peace of mind" that we all want for our wedding day. My guests continually commented on the wedding aisle that Meredith designed, AND broke down and re-used for our dining tables during reception. She is so darn amazing, she even sat for our nuptials! Oh, talk about the personal touch? She provided my guests with wrap and ribbon for taking home the tall calla lilies and palms, while the other arrangements went home with the beautiful low glass square vase. (can easily repurpose that square vase, lol)

After hearing all the horror stories about people's experiences with their florists, I took a recommendation to see Meredith at The Flower Petaler. It was the best thing I ever did. It is now December and people are still talking about our gorgeous flowers. I've never even heard of guests taking such large notice of flowers, let alone compliment them but that is just how beautiful they were. Meredith was able to take my ideas and bring them life. My mother and I were BLOWN AWAY at our sample meeting and the flowers on that day were even better. Meredith came that day to drop off my flowers, walked them in my house personally and hugged me and was there to pick them up that night. The aisle flowers at our church ceremony were so beautiful there were none left to recycle for the reception because everyone left with them. They were alive all day long, and my father even sent me a picture of my bouquet a week later still alive in water. Meredith is truly unbelievable. She is super personable, very down the earth, and honest. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I hope to work with her again in the future!

I wanted very specific, unique centerpieces for my wedding. The Flower Petaler took the time to understand my needs and collaborated with me to ensure my vision was executed to perfection. As an out-of town bride that lives in NC but got married on Long Island, Meredith could not have been more helpful and attentive to make sure my vision came to life. She was always available via email/phone and really tried to accommodate my schedule when I was in town. Not only was she a dream to work with, but the floral arrangements were absolutely beautiful! Meredith and her team were INCREDIBLE. One day while visiting my parents, I noticed this unique, whimsical fall bouquet on the coffee table. It was done by the Flower Petaler- who I ended up using, and quickly became my absolute FAVORITE VENDOR in a wedding full of seriously great vendors.

It was a beach wedding, and I wanted to play with that theme, but without being too kitschy. I'm an art director so I was pretty picky with the visual parts of the wedding, and I was very afraid of over-doing items like anchors, starfish, shells, etc. I also wanted the bouquets to look very natural, as if they were just picked from the garden. Meredith TOTALLY got it. Right away. She had so many great suggestions, thought about things that I didn’t such as wind, and was very easy to work with- efficient but patient and focused on getting what YOU want. She masterfully combined vintage hurricane lanterns, an array of beautiful glass bottles, unique driftwood pieces, all adorned with tasteful white flowers, some succulents, & beach grass. The best part was the huppah. White birch, with these awesome big pieces of driftwood Meredith had been collecting. She hung white flowers and some crystal strands (which I wasn’t at first into and then the way they all lightly sparkled in the sun was AMAZING) from the top. My mother and I were bouncing with excitement when we left our final appointment.

About two days before the wedding, Hurricane Hermine became a harsh reality that was expected to hit right around ceremony-time. Upon seeing the weather Meredith called me with a slew of new suggestions on how to make this wedding decor PERFECT, inside (adding candles, provided an alternate huppah option, etc.) or outside. I actually think she cared more than me- very comforting. She ALSO offered to bring the bouquets to my house beforehand for pictures, then picked them all up from the venue, brought them to my parents house, and re-set them all up throughout the house for the after party! I mean... amazing.

We could not be happier with the Flower Petaler! Meredith was amazing to work with. As someone who has terrible allergies I know very little about flowers but I knew I wanted bright colors. Meredith and I communicated a lot of ideas through Pinterest. When we knew exactly what colors we wanted we brought our Legos (yes, the wedding was Lego themed!) and Meredith had picked out gorgeous flowers that matched perfectly. The arrangements were amazing. She advised us from the very beginning about the types of centerpieces that would work well in the venue space and with our budget. She gave us options when it came to the type of hydrangea - a cheaper white one that could be dyed or a more expensive colorful one. She was very honest and upfront about the costs and really worked with our budget. The bouquets were beautiful but everyone could not stop complimenting the centerpieces. Within months of our wedding, both before and after, we attended quite a few weddings. None of the arrangements can compare to the ones Meredith did for us. They truly were beautiful. I wish more people realized to take them home at the end of the night because they lasted for such a long time after the wedding! My aunt undid the arrangements and put them into several vases and decorated her apartment and then I did the same. They still looked great a week later! After my friend's wedding I tried the same thing and not even 3 days later I had to throw the flowers out; they wilted and turned brown. I don't know where Meredith gets her flowers but they were such quality flowers! Everything about our experience with the Flower Petaler was amazing! I highly recommend her!

Meredith from start to finish was absolutely courteous, friendly, professional in the wedding planning and flowers process. She was recommended to me by my sister and I was so glad that she did! I planned my wedding from a long distance, and Meredith was very easy to communicate with regarding our needs and appointment times (as my ability to stop by every so often was limited!). Her demo was superb and she was able to accommodate us quickly, and the final product was unbelievable! I'm still in awe of how lovely our arch, bridal bouquet, corsages, boutonnieres, chair additions, and flower boxes for the tables came out. My family and friends were so impressed too! Meredith was amazing!!! She made the whole flower process so simple when i thought it would be overwhelming, she knew exactly the look I was going for after about 5 min into the initial consultation, she was spot on! I had some changes and additions and other tweaks along the way and she answered quickly, accommodated to my changes and gave me amazing advice. She made sure everything would look amazing. When we did the samples I was in awe how beautiful it all looked! And the day of omg all the flowers were perfect (and I had a lot!) my theme was sort of bohemian vintage and she took that and made it come to life! She works with any budget as well and adjusted my flowers etc to fit the budget. So happy with the flower petaler, Meredith and her staff are truly flower geniuses! Meredith was such a dream to work with! I came to her after speaking with two florists who just didn't seem to get my style at all. I showed her some pictures and explained what I was looking for: wild, lots of green stuff, shades of pink and purple. She quickly put together some small sample bouquets right in front of my eyes and I was sold! The bouquets on my wedding day were PERFECT and unique. She also designed the boutonnieres, a gorgeous garland for our chuppah, fresh flower clips for my bridesmaids, and an ethereal floral crown for me. Everything she created was so beautiful and went so well with my garden-inspired backyard wedding. I even dried and preserved my bouquet and it looks just as beautiful! I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Working with Meredith at the Flower Petaler was probably the easiest part of our wedding planing and everything was absolutely perfect. I had a general idea about what theme I was going for, however really didn't have an idea about what flowers to use or how to put it all together. Meredith had so many amazing ideas and created the most beautiful and unique centerpieces I have ever seen. We thought it was really amazing how the flowers used in the ceremony were re-used at the reception. The bouquets were so beautiful and the flowers were so fresh and lasted weeks after the wedding. All of our guests commented on how original and beautiful everything was. A few days before the wedding I had some last minute changes and additions and Meredith was more than accommodating and everything worked out perfectly. The Flower Petaler truly made our dream wedding flowers a reality. Not only did Meredith roll with the punches (I was definitely not the easiest bride to work with) but she brought what started as a very vague vision of mine to life. We worked together for months using Pinterest as a vehicle for sharing ideas and the final execution was exactly what we hoped for: a woodland meets old world glamour creation with different themes to each room (not an easy task.) My husband and I planned our wedding in Oyster Bay, NY from CT. Neither one of us was from, or very familiar with, the area so we really had to trust our vendors and "go with our gut" when choosing vendors! The easiest choice was our florist! Meredith and her team were absolutely incredible to work with!! Meredith is very professional and extremely passionate about what she does. When I first met with her, I did not have a concrete idea of what types of flowers and arrangements I wanted at my wedding. I spent countless hours on Pinterest trying to decide on arrangements and still got nowhere. Meredith helped me figure out a concept by showing me pictures of events and weddings she had done in the past and adding suggestions for colors, etc. Since I purchased all of my own vases, I set up a mock arrangement on a table at home and took a picture to show her. She immediately understood my vision and helped me choose the right flowers and colors that would look best. What she ended up creating went above and beyond what I had originally envisioned. I was blown away by how beautiful the flowers looked and how each table arrangement made the space come alive. Not only were the flower arrangements stunning, Meredith was so wonderful to work with. I had a very tight budget to work with and she made it so easy to figure out. She told me upfront how much each item would cost and where we could cut costs if we wanted to bring the price down. I met Meredith while she was setting up another wedding at the venue we picked (in NYC). Even though she is from LI, she will make it work in NYC! We had an instant connection. Picking out our flowers became a creative journey with Meredith. We set up a joint Pinterest account and I would pin photos and she would pin photos. I could show her 1 picture and describe what I liked and she would bring it to life! She is so creative and personalized everything to what we were looking for. Specializing in unusual flower and table arrangements, Meredith was THE person for our Roaring 20's wedding at The Carlyle on the Green. Although we are in California and our wedding was in Melville, Meredith was responsive via email and phone. She even Skyped with me to show me arrangements while my mom was in the store with her and communicated with me over Pinterest so I could show her what I had in mind and I could pick specific vases, etc. Not only did she bring great ideas to our meetings (using different sizes of tapered candles, etc), she also was super flexible to ensure the details we wanted were represented. I was an out of town bride (living in Boston and planning a Long Island wedding) so picking a vendor I could easily work with was a top priority. My venue gave me a list of "preferred florists," but after every telephone convo with other florists I was unimpressed by lack of customer service. I did my own search for Long Island florists and came upon The Flower Petaler - I immediately felt drawn to Meredith because of the positive reviews. I called Meredith and was instantaneously sold, not just because of her friendliness but because of all the questions she asked me about my vision. At first I wasn't sure what kind of vision I had, but soon enough after our first conversation and her advice I was searching online for pictures and emailing her pictures of what I liked.

Meredith is incredibly talented and gifted with flowers. I never had specific flowers or arrangements envisioned - the only thing that thought I wanted was a lot of candles and different shades/colors of ivory. She was able to extrapolate my few ideas into gorgeous bouquets, centerpieces, and aisle arrangements. She even surprised me with the most beautiful cascade of flowers on my cake! Even though I didn't have a clear picture of exactly what I wanted, Meredith somehow really understood what I had hoped to see on my wedding day! In addition to helping make my wedding day beautiful she stayed within our budget and kept all flower selections local and in season :)

Throughout every step of my wedding planning process Meredith was so easy and fun to work with. She was easily able to meet with me when I was in town and she was so accessible via email and phone. The Flower Petaler is the wedding vendor you want to use if you want GREAT attention to detail, fabulous customer service, a reliable vendor, and most importanly GORGEOUS flowers at a fabulous price.

I cannot say enough good things about the Flower Petaler. From our first consultation, Meredith did nothing but wow me. I gave her a few key points of what I wanted my flowers to look like and she suggested combinations of flowers that were absolutely perfect and reflected exactly what I wanted for my wedding. She then had us come in and made a sample bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets and centerpieces, which were so stunning. In addition, she was very flexible with our budget, even helping us to repurpose flowers from the ceremony pergola and place in the reception venue. The day of the wedding Meredith was amazing. She brought all the flowers to their locations and set up everything using her expertise and incredible judgment. She stayed during the wedding and setup the flowers that she was able to repurpose. To top it off, she saved the day and had extra nautical rope for our knot tying ceremony, since we forgot ours!!! Honestly, when I saw my bouquet and walked into the venue I was in awe. It was my pinterest dream come true and more. I recommend the Flower Petaler to anyone and everyone. I can not recommend Meredith enough! She did a beautiful job with the flowers for my wedding! She provided the flowers for the church and bridal party as well as the reception and table arrangements. I tend to be very indecisive, and she took the time to show me a bunch of different arrangements for the bouquets and tables, and I ended up finding something that I absolutely loved! The beautiful hydrangea arrangements even ended up lasting almost a week after the wedding! Meredith also did a great job managing time, as there was a small window of time to move the flowers from the church to the reception, but everything got done in time, and looked beautiful!

There are no words that can adequately describe Meredith of The Flower Petaler that will let you know how WONDERFUL she is. First of all, in all categories of rating her business, she is a 5+ across the board.

Most importantly, Meredith really listens to what you say and delivers what you want and so much more than that. My daughter's favorite flower is a white daisy and they were incorporated into bouquets and table arrangements with other flowers for the most elegant pieces I've ever seen. Meredith works with your budget, offers numerous ideas, takes the flowers from the ceremony and uses them at the cocktail hour/reception. She was ALWAYS available, never rushed us, happily accommodated changes, always has a smile and calming effect on everyone. We had an outdoor ceremony planned and when Meredith arrived the weather was not so great and she was so relaxed and said she would work on the reception for a bit and see how the weather progressed and then wound up setting up outside and everything was PERFECT. Meredith was absolutely amazing! She gave great ideas when I was unsure of what I wanted, and put together beautiful arrangements. The flowers were so big and were opened perfectly. I made some last minute changes which were not a problem. She was very flexible with appointment times which most people aren't. On the day of my wedding there was a slight miss communication with my maid of honors bouquet, but she fixed the problem in the matter of a few minutes.
The only thing I wish I had done was get my bouquet to be preserved because I would have wanted to look at it forever- thats not much I loved it.

Meredith was very helpful and easy to work with! From our first meeting it was evident that she would do anything to make the day special for my daughter. I have to say, she covered so many details during that first meeting, we were a little overwhelmed. EVERYTHING Came Together BEAUTIFULLY! The service that she and her assistants provided on the day of the wedding was wonderful; from delivering the bouquets to the house, the boutineers to the bar, flowers for my daughter's hair to the hair salon, and taking care of the last minute request to also decorate the cake with fresh flowers. All this along with set up at the church & reception. My favorite aspect is that she moved all the flowers from the church to also be used to decorate the tent at the reception. When she told me, at that first meeting, she would be doing that, I was sold!

By far the BEST florist I have ever come across! My husband & I met Meredith about six months before our wedding. We knew right away we wanted to work with her - she has an amazing personality and her energy is spot on! You just know day one she will come through for you on your big day! Not only did she take endless time going over every single detail, which included decorating our ceremony, cocktail hour and our afterhours lounge, but she revised each detail numerous times to fit our likes, ideas and budget.

Even with all of the planning and all of the detailed information she continously provided to us, nothing could prepare us for the beauty of her work on our wedding day. I have NEVER seen flowers, arrangements, decor so BEAUTIFUL as I did on my wedding. She made our vision and so much more come to life in such a better way than we could have ever imagined! Meredith - we heart you! You really blew us away and we can't wait to use you again!

Meredith did an incredible job with the flowers at my wedding. She is very good at figuring out what you want even if it takes a long time for you to figure that out. We had flowers everywhere with a garden party feel and she did this while keeping it from getting too expensive. She also happily put out other items for us and she gave me extra flowers for my hair, delivering them right to the hair salon. She also happily delivered the boutonnieres to a bar where the guys were meeting. She thinks of all the details and makes beautiful flower arrangements in the brides style. Thank you Meredith!

When I first started discussing the possibility of having Meredith do the flowers for my wedding, I was impressed with her responsiveness and creativity. I was planning the wedding from out of town and she was happy to speak with me on the phone. After showing her my Pinterest board, she came up with GREAT ideas for types of flowers that I had never even heard of, and seemed pleased to come up with unique arrangements for me. She was always quick to respond to me and was able to work with a somewhat limited budget. I was very happy with the samples, but the flowers the day of were out of this world - ten times better! I was so very happily surprised. Thank you, Meredith, for making this special day even better than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Meredith was the utmost in professionalism and her ability to create the most magnificent floral arrangements for my bridal party, my centerpieces and for me and my Bride was beyond words!
She provided us with the most beautiful and exquisite floral arrangements that truly deserve to be showcased in magazines.
She provided countless hours talking to us about types of flowers and the colors, and gave us a sense of caring to the both of us in making our wedding so very beautiful.
All my guests were blown away by our centerpieces and our bouquets.

Great experience with the flower Petaler. I showed Meredith photos and gave her our budget and she was able to create amazing things! She really knows her flowers. I can not say enough great things about Meredith at the Flower Petaler. She was incredibly helping and creative, and was so easy to work with on creating the most gorgeous wedding we could have asked for. From the small details (she made birch bark table card holders), to the large items (the centerpieces and bridal bouquets were out of this world!!), Meredith went above and beyond. She decorated my house, my staircase (with toole!), and truly made the day feel incredibly special. She did the most amazing job creating our beachy/backyard wedding, and I can not recommend her highly enough. THANK YOU!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Meredith at The Flower Petaler. From our initial meeting Meredith was very open to our ideas and provided excellent suggestions that only improved upon the vision we had for the floral arrangements. We chose to work with Meredith because we had faith that she understood our vision, and she would also be the one taking responsibility for arranging, delivering, and setting up the flowers the day of the wedding. Meredith was always responsive, and we met with her several times before the wedding to see examples of the centerpieces and individual flowers. On the day of our wedding, Meredith was there, on time, and all flowers looked as good as or better than the examples she provided. The Flower Petaler's prices were competitive with the larger wedding flower factories in the area. We highly recommend The Flower Petaler (and we're trying to find an excuse to use their services again).

I’ll preface this review by saying that I’m completely against the idea of roses (gasp!) and think they’re too much of a romantic cliché. With that being said, I was thrilled when I found Meredith who patiently worked with my flower quirks (hydrangeas, lilies and peonies over traditional roses) and educated me that not all roses look the same. She was a pleasure to work with and put my mind at ease based on her level of expertise and professionalism. Meredith created gorgeous bouquets, fabulous reception centerpieces and beautiful ceremony arrangements that transformed the church. She was very conscious of my budget and offered suggestions that wouldn’t break the bank – ie: using flowers that were in season and reusing arrangements from the church at the cocktail hour. Meredith is definitely not one to toot her own horn but I’m happy to do it for her – she was incredible to work with!

I just got married in Montauk and used the Flower Petaler. It was so nice to find a vendor who would go out to MTK and not charge an arm and leg. Out of all my vendors this was my favorite!!! Her flowers were amazing. She was so nice to work with and really made my vision come alive. She knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond and researched my venue to get a better idea of what would work well. I changed my mind a few times and she was so flexible and understanding. The day of the wedding so much is going on and you really dont have time to pay attention to the little details, well all my guests let me know how beautiful all the flowers looked. in all the pictures and video i really see how beautiful they looked and how vibrant the colors were. she even delivered them in water so they were super fresh. I am recommending the flower petaler to everyone I know!!!!! I am so satisfied with the service.

What can I say about Meredith at the Flower Petaler? AMAZING. I cannot even begin to describe the bouquets, arrangements, and centerpieces she created for our wedding. The flowers were amazing and so much love was put into making the bouquets and centerpieces. Meredith(the florist) was so easy to work with, she was extremely personable and passionate about her work. I would recommend Flower Petaler to anyone... it really is a special place.

When I initially started researching the kind of flowers I wanted for our wedding, I found a gorgeous bouquet of ranunculus that I saved for inspiration... only I after I started actually looking at specific florists did I realize that the gorgeous bouquet I loved was the work of Meredith at the Flower Petaler.

Meredith is incredibly talented and the passion she has for her work is clear. She was knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my questions. She helped my ideas take shape and I really felt that we were on the same creative page. Meredith helped me select beautiful flowers that fit the theme and look I was going for while staying within my budget. I completely trusted her to make my floral dreams come true (she will not steer you wrong!). An absolute professional!

She arrived on time (if not early) the day of our wedding and not only delivered all of the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages as promised, but she also did an amazing job setting up all of my additional flowers and centerpieces (each centerpiece sat on a small stack of vintage books and were surrounded by a variety of antique glasses and jars). Everything looked AMAZING.

She was definitely worth every penny. We did not have specific flowers in mind when we started and were willing to work within the season our wedding was being held and the constraints of our budget. Since we could be flexible, Meredith was able to really work to give us the best value.

I would absolutely recommend her to anyone - the quality of service for the cost was phenomenal and she is truly and artist.

She was incredible, responsive, and talented. After she showed me a sample bouquet that was not exactly in-line with what we'd spoken about at our initial consultation, she happily, readily and eagerly went to work re-creating a new bouquet. The new bouquet was GORGEOUS and exactly what I wanted. It taught me that my vendors are human and to pick up the phone and not settle because I want to avoid confrontation.

She also went above and beyond the call of duty when her shop lost power (because of Hurricane Irene) at midnight the night before our wedding, and she saved all of my flowers by storing them safely in her home fridge. Are you kidding me?!

THIS is a vendor you can trust!

I used The Flower Petaler for my September 2013 wedding & I have to say she was one of my favorite vendors to work with. From the first meeting until the day of my wedding she was great. Meredith is extremely professional, knowledgeable, creative & responsive. I changed my mind a couple of times and each time she was pleasant and responsive. She always made me feel extremely comfortable to go to her with new ideas and she always listened to make sure she provided exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding the flowers were outstanding, the centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres everything was beautiful. The colors were spot on what we wanted, and everything was done with great detail and quality. Truly a great experience!

I absolutely loved the flowers at my wedding! Meredith helped to make each area of my wedding elegant and special.
