Love, love, love Una! We had a destination wedding and I did my research to contact local florists in the Malibu area. Most of them were so expensive and doesn't seem to have what I was looking for my budget. Then my friend recommended Una. I immediately contacted her and she was so responsive, agreed to do a skype appointment and when I showed her my Pinterest account, she immediately knew what I was looking for, she got to work right away and suggested a few more to fit into my budget. Oh boy, did I do a good job in finding her. When I told the venue who I hired as a florist, they immediately said, WE LOVE UNA! I knew I was in great hands if local venues knew her and her excellent work! She is so easy to work with, very down to earth and works with any budget and makes it look like it costs more. She has a great eye for beauty and class. The arrangements she made for us is very elegant and classy. I love everything from the hanging candles, to the glass chandelier and my husband's black and white boutonniere. Very chic indeed! She treated us like family and that's the best thing you could ask for. -

We wanted a Romantic wedding that was understated, refined, elegant and timeless. Una helped make that a reality. She understood the vision, always gave sensible advice and tried to be flexible with our budget. On the day of the wedding, she was there, making sure everything was beautiful. In the end, the flowers were exactly what we would have hoped for.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! Even 10 stars won't do this place justice because not only is Una an expert flower arrangement artist, but she must also be a mind-reader.
I had my wedding back in February and unfortunately I was one of those brides who not only had NO idea what I wanted, but even if I did have one smidge of an inkling of what I was looking for, I had no idea how to express it, while at the same time being super picky about what I did not want. Una was more than accommodating to my inarticulate, indecisive self, whilst patiently guiding my thought process to help me figure out what I actually wanted. By the end of our final consultation, I'd basically changed my mind on everything from the types of flowers I wanted, to the number of centrepieces and altar arrangements plus a cake topper, to even the colour scheme twice!
Eventually, I'd pointed at a picture of an arrangement she'd done previously and said "I like that one, but different," and, after she'd made absolute sure about my final colour scheme, she said to just leave it to her... and came up with a masterpiece.
She'd somehow taken exactly what I had visualised in my head and made it materialise on my wedding day -- except even better than I could have imagined it.
She was willing to work with my fairly tight budget as well as being flexible with random requests I'd thrown at her last minute ("can I have some baby breaths to put in my hair please??" - originally the answer should have been 'no', but she surprised me with a bunch on the day anyway!)
In case I haven't sung enough of her praises yet, by far the best thing about Una is that she takes such great pride in her work that she refuses to deliver anything sub-par. She will flat out tell you if what you're asking for won't look nice or suit your wedding aesthetic, or cannot be done to the highest standard within your budget (she'll suggest alternatives if so). She holds herself to such a high standard that you can pretty much guarantee that what you get on the day will be stunning.
Personally, I really enjoyed working with Una as I fully appreciate her honesty and openness, and cannot recommend her enough for your big day.
Also I hope this review proves how worth it Una was because I literally am creating a WeddingWire account to post it haha. You will not regret working with her! -

Una’s flowers are to die for! From the beginning of our experience, she wanted to see my Pinterest board and make that vision come to life. I knew I wanted a vintage, elegant garden theme but was a little indecisive on exactly what that looked like - she made sure to give me different options, her opinion on what would look best, and how we could make that work with our budget. She was great at communicating, made sure to send me pics and ideas, and when the actual wedding day came, everything was absolutely incredible!!!
We got so many compliments on Una’s arch, floral arrangements, and rental pieces - Una truly made all our dreams come true!!! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

Una did a phenomenal job providing the florals for our wedding. She is experienced, professional and will work with your budget to make your vision come to life. She communicated well and met with us a few times to finalize all the details. Ultimately, she executed our vision flawlessly. The pictures speak for themselves! We highly recommend her for all your floral needs!! -

Lisa Sent on 12/22/2019The Flower Lab was flexible and worked with my budget!
I met with Una at The Flower Lab over 2 meetings to help me achieve the wedding vision within budget. Although I ended up increasing my budget after our meetings, I was ultimately satisfied with my decision. Una was so patient and honest in her pricing to help me understand what could and could not be achieved based on my budget. I ended up using a mix of real flowers and renting acrylic table numbers, hurricane candles and geometric lanterns as centerpieces. I was relieved that I did not have to purchase all of those centerpieces on my own and end up having to deal with setting up, packing it up and storing it to have it collect dust. She worked with my venue, Bel-Air Bay Club, quite often, who has strict guidelines in place for wedding vendors, so I trusted that she knew what could and could not work well in the space. She executed on my vision flawlessly and even offered me cost friendly options such as repurposing ceremony flowers for our sweetheart table at the reception and offering to have me provide my own labor for strike down to help save costs, all to help me achieve my budget. Overall, I would recommend The Flower Lab again! -
