Absolutely Amazing!!

It’s been nearly a month since our wedding and my husband and I are still receiving compliments and positive feedback from family and friends. From the moment we first stepped foot into The Florian Gardens we were impressed by the staff’s knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. They truly want you to have the best day of your life and will go above an beyond to accommodate your wedding day vision! Our wedding was their largest post-Covid event and they handled everything flawlessly! From start to finish our day could not have gone better. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was, and how efficient the staff members were!

Lastly, Lisa is an absolute rockstar, you will not regret having her and your wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond to answer each of our questions in a timely manner and offered so much great advice! She truly thinks of everything and has a backup plan for it all. Even though we held our ceremony offsite she even gave us advice and tips for that portion of the day. She is so incredibly kind and thoughtful. We were so grateful to have her in our corner handling any issues and helping guests as needed.

There’s truly nothing negative to say about this venue. We could not recommend it enough and would have our wedding at Florian Gardens a million times over if we could!

Made if a fairy tale wedding

The Florian wedding coordinator, owner and staff made the entire process go so smoothly. Relieving the stress of that important day made our daughter's wedding and family experience so enjoyable for all. We'll be back but this time to schedule another event.

We Couldn't Have Been Happier!

If you are looking for a beautiful setting, top-notch service, and a delicious menu tailored to your specifications, look no further than The Florian Gardens. We couldn’t have been happier with our venue and when asked what they could have done to make our day better, we honestly couldn’t think of anything. Having an on-site wedding coordinator took a lot of the stress out of planning, as we could always ask questions and receive the information that we needed. The owner has done an outstanding job of not only building a beautiful and user-friendly event setting, but he has done a wonderful job of building a culture where everyone is so friendly, guest-oriented, and knowledgeable. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that you will DEFINITELY not be disappointed by The Florian Gardens!

Great venue!

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed! Florian was super easy to work with & flexible when our wine budget ran out by 6PM! They walked us through step by step as our planning months went by. The cost was reasonable and the food was OUTSTANDING (seriously recommend the chicken). We had an indoor ceremony & they were able to flip the room in a matter of minutes. The location was great & their garden in the back made for some absolutely stunning pictures. We loved it!

Easily the best wedding venue in a Eau Claire

We got so many compliments from our wedding guests and family about what a fabulous venue we chose for our wedding. The Florian made getting married such a smooth and easy process I would want to do it all over again! The ambience was wonderful, food was amazing, and all staff was great to work with. Everyone is so professional and they worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make the day completely stress free.

Would choose Florian again, no exceptions

I absolutely LOVED working with the wedding coordinator to make our day perfect. But the day was far from perfect, it exceeded perfect too many times to count. The staff had perfect timing with all of the food, which was phenomenal, Ashley checked in to make sure everything was running smooth. They go out of their way to work with your vendors before the date so that everyone is on the same page and on top of having the entirely perfect day, marrying my absolute best friend, they gave us a gift during our dinner. We truly felt like close friends if not family through out the entire planning process and the day of. It honestly makes me a little sad our days over because planning with Florian made was my favorite experience.

Could not have been more pleased with this venue!!!! The wedding coordinator Kelly was super helpful and was a pleasure to work with!!!! As a bride I was able to simply walk in the day of and everything was set up and organized I did not have any stress at all which is something that most would never be able to say!!!! The gardens were beautiful and the pictures by CJ photography reflected that beauty!! The food was amazing and all the guests left stating it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to!!!! We cannot say enough kind words about this venue and the staff. We could not have asked for a better venue for our special day!!!

I recently got married on a Sunday evening and although my wedding was very different it was pulled off perfectly. I owe this all the the Florian! I started working with Collette and she was wonderful at being organized and understanding what I wanted, unfortunately she had moved onto bigger and better things by the time my wedding came around but that didn't effect me at all because Kelly the new wedding coordinator slide right in with out a single crease on the plans. She worked with all my vendors so that the last week before I didn't have to lift a finger.
I kept hearing that it was the best wedding any of my guests had ever been to. I agree, but I'm bias. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, the Florian is absolutely beautiful and if your reading this because your looking for a venue I'd say definitely book there.

If you are considering this location for your wedding, you should absolutely book it. Every member of the staff was professional and did everything they could to make our day fabulous. Kelly (the event coordinator) did a fantastic job and helped me with every single thing. She often knew more about the details of our wedding than I did. She worked with the baker, DJ, and photographer to make sure that everyone would show up on time and were aware of our timeline. The food was delicious, the gardens were impeccable, and they could not have done a single thing better than they did. We heard nothing but rave reviews from every single guest. We also stuck to a pretty tight budget, so don't rule this place out before looking everything over and talking with Kelly.

The gardens and space provided are absolutely gorgeous. It is so nice to have a bridal room with it's own bathroom! The food was great all around, from appetizers to entrees. Collette was amazing beyond words. I can't say enough how great it was to have her keeping everything in check. Even months before the wedding she would always check in to see how planning was going and help keep us on track. She was so on top of getting in touch and coordinating with all of our other vendors, it made it so nice for us not to have to be the middle man. Our reception could not have been more perfect, and that is in many thanks to Florian!

The Florian Gardens was everything we hoped for and MORE! My husband and I got married there October 2015 and it was a beautiful fall day. We had so many little details and the staff made sure EVERYTHING was perfect. We worked very closely with Collette who did a fabulous job from Sept. 2014 all the way leading up to our actual wedding day. She helped us every step of the way and we truly feel lucky to have had her for this special time in our lives. Not only was she outstanding but the whole entire staff from the wait staff, cooks, bartenders went above and beyond to make sure everything was how we envisioned it to be. Another perk of the Florian Gardens is the beautiful patio with the gardens. They keep it very manicured and is a great place for pictures and just to enjoy. We knew that we didn't have a thing to worry about when we had picked the Florian as our venue. Our guests were just as pleased as us with the staff, ambiance, food, etc. If your looking for a venue look no further! The Florian Gardens will NOT disappoint. People always ask after your wedding if there is anything you would change, the answer is not one thing- it was perfect!!

We are so happy we chose The Florian Gardens are our wedding/reception venue. The staff was excellent; paid close attention to detail and helped us truly create a day that was perfect for us as a couple. They were professional, organized and very helpful during the planning process and supportive throughout the entire day of. Being from out of town they were flexible in setting up meetings with us and keeping us updated through email. They also made great suggestions for other vendors and we ended up booking quite a few recommended by The Florian. We didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day and were able to focus on celebrating with our family and friends. Our guests raved about everything: the amazing food, kind staff, the beautiful gardens, and excellent decor. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Collette and the rest of the Florian staff were amazing to work with! We got so many compliments on how good the food was (we went with the Italian buffet). When all of our other vendors asked us what our wedding venue was and we told them it was the Florian, they all responded with something along the lines of "great choice" and all seemed excited to be able to do another wedding there. A lot of collaboration was done behind the scenes with our other vendors and the Florian, which made it easier for us to just enjoy the day and know that everything would be taken care of.

I attended the bridal fair at the Florian several months before our wedding and found almost all of our other vendors there, and some of them even gave us deals for booking/talking with them at that bridal fair.

If I could go back and re-choose our wedding venue, I would definitely choose the Florian again!

Working with Florian Gardens was the best decision we made regarding our wedding (beside deciding to get married). The gardens are beautiful and the food was wonderful. Our wedding at the Florian was fantastic! I don't think it could have gone any better, and the staff was great in getting people excused and through the buffet line for food. Dave, Collette and all of the staff were amazing to work with. The venue, indoors and out, were in amazing condition and stayed that way throughout the day and night. The food may have been the best part, as we have heard from almost every single guest that it was the best wedding food they have ever had (Italian Buffet). My wife and I, as well as our families, cannot express how wonderful it was to have had our wedding at the Florian Gardens. It is hands down the best-staffed, most beautiful wedding venue in the western Wisconsin area. The wedding planner, Collette, is the best there is and helped us immensely from first contact to the wedding day. The owner and other staff are a friendly and helpful as they come. We were able to have a wedding that reflected who we are within our budget. We would highly recommend the Florian Gardens to our friends, family, and anyone remotely interested in having their wedding in the Eau Claire area. My husband and I only have wonderful comments on the Florian Gardens for our oldest daughter's wedding. From the very beginning with the planning to collecting the decor when leaving at the end, it was a great experience with a lot less stress than I had planned. Collette and Dave were amazing to work with. Collette tied all the little things together and made the day so much fun. Dave even helped my 85 year old mother through the buffet line with her food. I can't say anything but good things about the Florian Gardens. Collette the wedding coordinator made sure that everything was the way I wanted it! She was fantastic and was able to calm me down when I did my little freak outs! I was hoping that the ceremony would be outside and when the wedding wouldn't permit she was able to set it up beautiful inside! We are so happy that we chose the Florian Gardens for our wedding reception! Not only was the venue stunningly beautiful, the staff was incredible from day one! Where do I even start? The staff of the Florian Gardens went above and beyond to make our wedding day beautiful, memorable and best of all, stress-free! Collette and the rest of the staff took care of every single detail that day - keeping on schedule and getting everyone down the aisle; coordinating with our DJ, videographer, florist and cake vendor; setting up and tearing down (what a relief that was!); and checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The catering was absolutely out of this world, the grounds are gorgeous, and the facility/ballroom is fantastic! I can't even count the number of compliments we have received from our family and friends! I personally had relatives who are used to fancy Chicago weddings at the Hilton say that our wedding was the best one they have ever attended. I can't possibly recommend The Florian enough!

The staff was amazing right from the start. (Dave and Collette) Easy to work with and they all were very open to my requests. I had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the Rock Garden, the landscaping and flowers were all fall decorated courtesy of the Florian staff. I had a "traveling themed" wedding reception and brought in all of my own decorations, they made sure everything was hung beautifully. The food was absolutely yummy! The steak with Demi Glaze is highly recommended. The reception was awesome, the up lighting, the bar staff, and Collette and Dave stayed right to the end. No complaints and I wouldn't have changed a single detail. This was a wedding for the Florain books!!

This past weekend we had our wedding scheduled in one of the beautiful gardens that Florian Gardens has to offer. On Friday we were asked if we had a back-up for if Rain were to happen (which was in the forecast). I had said we did but it was at the hotel in which the reception was at. During this conversation we were told we could still have our wedding inside overlooking the gardens. THANK YOU Florian Staff for this opportunity as the day turned out perfectly!

My husband Johnathon and I could not have been any happier with the service and venue that the Florian Gardens provided. Collette, was an absolute God send and I was so fortunate to have her help and guidance throughout the whole wedding process. She helped me make my vision come to life and ensured that I was not having a cookie cutter wedding that every other couple was having at the same venue. The gardens were stunning, the guests loved the food, and Dave investing in the ceiling draping was worth it! We had so many compliments on that feature and the entire venue as a whole. We are so thankful with their flexibility as well. We had some concerns with our chiavari chairs arriving from Minneapolis the week of the wedding. Dave, handled it right away, and when I walked in the doors to get ready the morning of the wedding everything was already set up. The staff was exceptional and we are so thankful for everything they did- down to making sure my husband had a few cans of Coke and not Pepsi behind the bar. This was a gorgeous all in one venue and we are still so pleased with the services they provide- still, three months after our wedding. My husband and I were in love with the service that The Florian Gardens provided. Everyone was super friendly, efficient, and professional. Everyone at our wedding had such a good time! Half of it, it was because of the staff. Collette was wonderful and was always there to assist us in anything. (I mean, really, anything!) She decorated our candy buffet table, gave us additional jars/glass/linens/etc. We are so happy to have done our wedding here & we couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else!

The Florian Gardens is a beautiful place to host a wedding and/or reception. Collette, the wedding coordinator, is so personable and wonderful to work with; Linda, who oversees the food, does an excellent job; and Dave, the owner, is so helpful and attentive. The Florian Gardens is BEAUTIFUL, they take great care of their indoor and outdoor space, it is very impressive. All of the staff we came in contact with were very helpful and professional. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything as Amanda was so well organized and thorough about the planning of our special day. The day of our wedding was amazing; everything went so smooth even the weather cooperated! We couldn’t have found or asked for a better place to get married, and will be forever thankful to The Florian Gardens and their staff for all of their hard work! We were even able to meet with Dave, the owner multiple times and get to know him, learn about The Florian Gardens and his family. The Florian Gardens is amazing! I'm so happy my husband and I chose to have our wedding here. The facility is beautiful and the staff are so accommodating and helpful. Two of my daughters chose to have their wedding at the Florian Gardens and both times absolutely everything about the day was perfect. The Florian Gardens was an absolutely gorgeous place to have our ceremony and reception for our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone. They went out of their way to make sure that our day was special and that everything was taken care of, including things we didn't even think of prior to that day. We have a deaf cousin who came back the next day to find her little boy's toy he had lost and they helped her locate it by writing back and forth with her. They took the time to store our flowers until the next day when we could pick them up at a more convenient time. They gathered and boxed up our centerpieces as well for us to pick up the next morning. I couldn't be happier with the Florian Garden's service. What a sweet and helpful staff they have there. All of the staff at Florian Gardens did an exceptional job making sure that our day was one to remember!! Amanda did a great job getting back to me in a timely manner whenever I had any questions! She was flexible with schedule sit downs with us and very helpful in putting together a timeline that worked for what we wanted at our wedding! Dave, the owner, was there from start to finish, he was there on our walk through before we booked our wedding at Florian, he was there the whole day or our wedding until midnight when we left, and he was there Sunday after to help us pack up all our things! He was excellent to work with and did everything he could to please us to insure that our day was perfect! The bartenders/servers at the Florian were great as well! They were all smiles, helpful and polite! I felt as though everyone there truley cared that it was our special day and wanted to make it perfect for us!

Our food was amazing! Throughout the whole night our guests were coming to us letting us know how much they enjoyed the food! Which was very nice to hear!

I would recommend The Florian Gardens to any Bride and/or Groom that is looking for an elegant venue for their day!

The Florian Gardens not only met, but far exceed any expectations we had for our wedding. The gardens were exquisite and provided the most beautiful location for an outdoor wedding ceremony. More importantly, all of the details of the wedding were covered and handled with the utmost professionalism and care. The onsite wedding coordinator is extremely helpful in not only planning the Florian aspects of the wedding, but also recommending other vendors that she has had great expresences with. The owner stayed all through the night and several times asked both my husband and myself how everything was going and if there was anything we needed. Not to mention that the food was absolutely amazing! Best wedding meal I've ever had. The services at the Florian Gardens may be a bit more expensive than other local wedding venues, but for the quality of the food and service you receive, it is worth every penny!!

I truly can not express how amazing The Florian Gardens were. They are absolutely the best venue in Eau Claire! We had our ceremony and reception held there in July of 2011. They go above and beyond in every aspect. Amanda is incredible, she is willing to do anything and everything to make your wedding day exactly the way you envisioned it. She responds very promptly to emails and is able to answer any question you come up with. The grounds are kept up immaculately. They were cleaning every window on the morning of the wedding. Through out the day of the wedding, staff is very attentive and asked us if there was anything they could do for us, including changing temperature of the room! They are a five star venue, without a doubt. I'm disappointed that I won't really have a reason to keep working with them, now that our wedding is over :)

Florian Gardens was an amazing venue to hold our wedding. The staff and wedding coordinator are top notch. They really allow each individual couple to customize exactly what they want out of their wedding. Our outdoor wedding got rained out and the indoor location was almost as pretty as having the ceremony outdoors. I live in the Twin Cities and found this location to be superior to anything we found in Minnesota. Hats off to the Florian Gardens staff.....you did an amazing job!

We absolutely loved the Florian Gardens and I don't think there is any venue that compares in the area. I'm still getting comments about how great the food from our guests a month after the wedding. Amanda was extremely helpful with every aspect of the reception and she is full of ideas so it was nice to have her as a resource. The Florian Gardens is the perfect place to have your wedding. For my criteria in a wedding and reception site, I wanted to be outside for the ceremony. The second thing I wanted was big windows to see outside during the reception. I hate receptions at hotels where you're stuck in a dark enclosed room. The place also had to accommodate at least 350 people and have good food and service. Basically, I thought my expectations were too high, and I was going to have to settle. I was wrong. I'm not from the area, so my mom was actually the one who found The Florian Gardens. The instant I saw the website, I knew this was the place for my perfect wedding.

The next hurdle was, were they going to be available on my special day??? My dream had always been to get married on May 23, because it was my grandparents and parents wedding anniversary. May 23 was only three months away after I got engaged. I called Florian immediately, and they were so accommodating! Amanda looked it up, and sure enough, it was available!

The great thing about The Florian Gardens is, you can work around your budget by getting discounts. If you get married during the off-season or on a Sunday, like we did, you can easily afford a place like The Florian Gardens. To me, I'd rather have a beautiful place and great food and pay a little bit more, than be stuck downtown at the Ramada or something. I also had wanted a menu item that was going to be eliminated, but Dave and Linda and the whole Florian staff were so understanding and cooperative, and they allowed us to have that meal.

On the day of our wedding, I couldn't have been happier with the way things went. The staff was so attentive, and the transitions of the day went by so smoothly. Dave, the owner, was there and dismissing tables and just helping out wherever he was needed. I found this remarkable, because you hardly ever see the owner actually get involved. Linda, the catering director, was at our side if we needed her. She would check up on us to make sure there wasn't anything else we needed.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. We had a couple in their 80's at our wedding tell us, "This is the best wedding we've ever been to. The food, place, and service were outstanding."

Thank you to everyone at The Florian Gardens for making my wedding the fairytale that I've dreamed about since I was ten. :)

The Florian Gardens has EVERY aspect of weddings covered. They provided friendly, professional, and thoughtful attention from not only the day of the wedding but all the time leading up to it. Amanda had great ideas for any part of the wedding details and was always willing to brainstorm with you. She was very prompt with her emails and calling back and was VERY flexible with your schedule. I was an out of town bride and had a hectic schedule and she was always willing to fit me in or listen when needed. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and if there were any small areas of need, they were taken care of by the staff there. At one moment at dinner, there was something I wanted to do and didn't get to it. Dave remembered and made sure it was taken care. I could go on and on about how wonderful the service, staff, setting, and so on were but I will just say they made our dream wedding a reality. Everyone talked about how beautiful and classy the wedding was,how great the food tasted, how smooth everything ran, and so on. We continue to receive compliments about how fabulous the day was and it is all in thanks to the Florian.

I would recommend The Florian Gardens to anyone seeking a place for their wedding, their reception or both. I had both my ceremony and reception at The Florian Gardens. It was very easy to make the decision. Melissa at the gardens helped me with many decisions from which ballroom and which garden to how many tables needed and followed with centerpieces. I did not have a negative experience here what so ever! I found it very convenient that we could have the ceremony out in the garden and a short walk to the ballroom and have our ceremony. My guests really enjoyed the fact they did not have a lag between the two events and they also didn't have to drive anywhere!

The Florian is great to work with! They are crisp, clean and professional. They run their venue like a well oiled machine and when you hire them for your event they make sure everything is perfect. The Florian venue was top notch! I couldn't have had a more perfect day. The staff did a phenomenal job; every one of my guests loved the gardens and commented on how it was the most gorgeous wedding they had ever attended. The food was superb as well, and compliments to the chefs, I loved everything that was served! Kelly and Collette were the absolute best; they listened well and made the day so easy. The owner provided some extras, like uplighting that went with my colors, and flowers that matched what I had. A minor point of disappointment was bar staff; they didn't seem too sure of mixed drinks or shots when requested; they need a bit more training to be more professional. All in all, just fantastic; thank you!

My husband and I had our outdoor garden ceremony and reception at the Florian and we LOVED it! I am a very picky, overly organized person and I honestly don't have anything to complain about so that right there says a LOT. They personally make sure everything is perfect for your big day in every aspect you could think of. Even adding extra tooling that matched our colors, without us asking them to do that. All of our guests had an amazing time and experience at the Florian Gardens and I would recommend it to any soon-to-be bride out there looking for the package deal :)

I had a few reservations going in because there was a wedding the day before, another the same day, and then one the day following mine. I was worried that the Gardens was just a wedding mill, and my "big day" would be just one of hundreds. The staff, however, was wonderful, and they put my worries to bed. Everything went off without a hitch. People are still talking about how beautiful the wedding was. I would recommend booking the Florian Gardens. It is worth the wait to have your wedding there.

Absolutely wonderful experience

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Florian. The did everything in their power to make my wedding day the best it could be. It did get rained out but they moved everything inside with ease and it was beautiful! Thank you everyone!

We had both our wedding and reception at Florian Gardens. This venue is gorgeous and included a wedding coordinator. Collette, our wedding coordinator, sent frequent communications to us and worked directly with our vendors to alleviate any stress. It was very easy to plan our wedding even though we lived over 1.5 hours away. We loved that a groomsmen and bridal suite, including a private bathroom, were included. Everyone loved the food that was served, which included appetizers, entree, and late night pizza. I would highly recommend Florian Gardens!

We had our wedding here in July and I could not have been happier! Being an out of town bride was very difficult for me because we did not see this place in person until after we had already booked them. I shouldn\'t have been worried. Collette was out of this world amazing!! Because of the distance our main source of communication was Skype and Collette was more than willing to give it a try and Skype me when I was having a melt down or two. Everything from the food to the Gardens are impeccable. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was and how much they got. None of our guests left hungry that\'s for sure. The Florian Gardens is by far the most gorgeous place around. The gardens are so magical and I know that they are maintained perfectly. Every single guest could not believe how pretty it was and loved taking pictures of it. The customer service was out of this world. \r\n\r\nThere is not a detail that goes unnoticed by the Florian Gardens team. If you have a question it\'s answered almost immediately. Collette really made my experience one of the best ever. I couldn\'t have asked for a better venue and it really only made our wedding even more magical than it already was. We had one slight mis-communication that was dealt with in the most professional manner possible. I left totally happy and I know our guests and all vendors did too. They have an amazing establishment and everyone involved is incredibly professional and intelligent. You will not be disappointed by booking this place. DO IT!!

The staff at the Florian, especially Collette, were all very responsiveness and helpful throughout the entire planning process. They took to the time to get to know my husband (fiance at the time) and I, as well as our family, to listen to our thoughts and ideas. Everything turned out beautifully on the day of, and Collette and the rest of the team were phenomenal. I would certainly recommend this venue to any future brides! The food is also incredible--it's worth every penny!

Amanda, Dave, and the entire staff were amazing to work with. Their professionalism was all that we could have asked for in making our wedding day everything we imagined. They provided a beautiful venue and an exceptional meal that our guests raved about.

Amanda was amazing to work with!!! We felt like everything was covered and gone through indepth. For as stressful as wedding planning can be, Amanda made it very enjoyable and with a lot less stress. Thank you for helping us enjoy our special day and the days leading up to it!

Employees at The Florian Gardens are very detailed oriented which is a little overwhelming at first, but really pays off in the end. Our day was spectacular with no worries on my mind.

My experience at the Florian was amazing. The staff did everything possible to organize things and make our day perfect. The gardens were beautiful and I couldn't imagine a more perfect place for a wedding. The food was excellent, we are still receiving compliments. The decor was stunning . . . the ballroom looked so beautiful. There was nothing that I wanted that they didn't make happen. Fantastic place and people.

I thought that everything for our wedding went very smoothly! Our guests were very receptive to the Florian and almost every guest we talked to brought up how great the food was. They commented about how hot and delicious it was and how great the staff were serving. Dave gave us a very thorough tour when we deciding on where to get married, and he really sold us on the Florian for both the ceremony and reception and I don't think we could be happpier with our choice. Amanda was very helpful and had many ideas about wedding planning and setup at the Florian. I really liked that multiple Florian staff members checked with us throughout the night about various subjects, just to make sure everything was going smoothly- I definately felt like they would try to meet any requests for us. We were asked about everything from the food to the temperature in the building! It really let us truely enjoy our time at the wedding because I had reassurance that the staff knew what they were doing and wanted to really make our night special. The Bride's room was great becuase it was a good place to have everything on site for the wedding, and it had a large bathroom. There were many places that we were able to take pictures outside with great flowers and foliage. We loved it! Our wedding at the Florian exceeeded our expectation! I can't say enough about it!

The florian gardens did a great job helping us host our wedding. The gardens setting was great for the ceremony and the service was completely on point for the reception. The size of the venue was great for ~140 people, but probably not much more than that

The Florian Gardens is a stunning venue. Every time I walked back to the Gardens it took my breath away. The food was absolutely amazing and above and beyond our expectations. The managers responded fairly quickly to questions we had. If the manger wasn't in, the assistant was right on top of it. Collette was there to help with everything on our big day. She really made sure that things ran smoothly and the bride (me) was stress free. The rest of the staff was very polite and if we had questions they couldn't answer, they sought out the answers right away. The one thing that was kind of a disappointment was we ordered too much food. The venue said the state of Wisconsin does not allow you to take food out of the facility that was made by the Florian. This is not their fault but something to keep in mind when you are doing your final guest count. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this venue for all types of events.

The place is beautiful both inside and out in the gardens. Very nice people. The only thing to be aware of is that there can be several weddings and/or receptions on the same day.

This is a beautiful place to have a wedding. They offer 3 different sized gardens that you can happily marry in. They offer 3 different reception halls, that can be converted into one if needed. I would highly recommend the Florian Gardens to anyone. They provide food, one or both of your venues, decorations (or you can bring in your own). They recommend you to florists, bakeries, officiants, djs, anything you can imagine to plan a wedding! The Florian Gardens is not only a wedding destination, you can also have proms, business meetings, graduation parties, you name it! They offer a bridal room and a grooms room for privacy and getting ready. They are located right next door to the Metropolis Hotel and Action City.

They do run discounts sometimes. Around January of every year they will send out a list of all the available dates left to hold an event. You get discounts because they just want to fill those days up!

The Florian Gardens was my dream-come-true wedding venue. They offer three gardens that the couple can choose from to be married in as well as three dance floors. The wedding coordinator there, Amanda, was extremely accomodating, efficient, and sensitive to our wants and needs. This venue offers you the option of getting married indoors if weather does not permit you to have the ceremony outdoors. The bridal room is large and inviting and the food was exceptional. The Florian Gardens is worth every penny.

The Florian Gardens was extremely professional and helpful. At the beginning, there were some issues with money and what would cost us what, but the day of the wedding, they were there for everything and helped make our day completely carefree.

Great service, very personal

Even though my first marriage hadn't ended well the service given by the Florian Gardens was amazing. They created so many personal touches for us I could thank them enough.

I absolutely loved the way everything happened. Amanda was extremely helpful, walking me through each step, working with me to make sure I got what I needed/wanted. There are only two things that weren't perfect. One was the noise from the interstate, and the second had to do with the table overlays. My mother specifically asked for them to be steamed, and it did not appear that they had been. Aside from that everything was stunning, and I have since had many compliments on everything. As far as cost, to me it was worth it, although the food prices were pretty high. The food was fantastic, but the cost was not.

Our wedding was a huge success, thanks in part to the staff at The Florian Gardens. The day of the event, we didn't need to worry about a thing. Amanda, Dave, and Linda had everything well organized and under control. The facility is gorgeous! Overall, everything met and exceeded our expectations.

The crew at the Florian Gardens was great to work with.

We hosted a wedding that had around 150 people. They were very helpful with the planning - even going the extra mile to arrange some special requests. As with any event we had a few obstacles to overcome but they handled the challenges very well and in a timely manner. Their patience and communication with the wedding party should certainly be singled out as excellent customer service.

All of our guests raved about the beauty of the gardens and the attentiveness of the staff. A special kudos goes out to Collette for stepping up to the plate and making sure that everything got handled and taken care of. The service was great.

Melissa and I would certainly recommend the Gardens for a wonderful wedding experience.

Amanda and Dave at the Florian Gardens were very good to work with. They clearly have organized many wedding ceremonies and receptions at their venue and helped us organize and realize our vision. The building is beautiful even at our indoor winter wedding it was georgous! The foyer and ballrooms were decorated for the holiday. We got married in front of the fireplace for our 5:00 ceremony which cozy feeling and perfect. In the evening the trees outside were lit with white lights which a great background for our reception. We even got snow which made the day even more special! The food was very good, and staff was very helpful! Once all the planning was done they helped the day move very smoothly. I wasn't that anything was going to get missed (once our flowers were finally delivered, but that is a story for another day). Sometimes things felt a little pricy, but I think their prices were in line with similar venues in the area. All in all, still worth it. Oh and I was so happy to be able to have our ceremony and reception at the same location, we had 1 hour between the ceremony and drinks, I was glad to keep the action moving.
