The Best Decision!

We got married at The Estate at New Albany on July 10th and I can say without a doubt it was THE BEST decision that we made when planning our wedding. Having previously worked in the event industry myself, I was so anxious about being able to trust our wedding team and really just enjoy the day. Alex and Maggie are absolute ROCKSTARS. They blew us away with their talent and made our wedding day feel like a fairytale. The venue itself is gorgeous and the vendor partners were so incredibly easy to work with. Our questions were always answered quickly and it really feels like everyone wants to do what they can to make your day exactly what you want it to be. We cannot recommend this venue enough and we are forever grateful to The Estate team for making our wedding day so perfect.

Absolutely Amazing Venue & Staff!!

Anyone who is getting married in Ohio or close to it NEEDS to look into The Estate book immediately! My husband and I's wedding date was originally 04/24/2020 but due to the pandemic, we pushed it to 10/01/2020. Although this was a stressful time, Kylie did an amazing job keeping us informed and answering all our questions! She was so on top of everything with giving us updates and new procedures put in place to keep us safe! She and the rest of The Estate staff went above and beyond our expectations! Kylie made the planning process so seamless which helps take the stress out of planning. When it came to our wedding day, the amazing staff made sure we were not bothered by the little things, they truly want you to enjoy every minute of the day! This is why The Estate is one of Columbus' most sought-after venues!! If I could, I would leave The Estate 100 stars!!!

Amazing. Stress free. THE BEST DAY EVER!!

Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT! I know, I know, everyone says that about their special day but I can honestly say that ours was PERFECT all thanks to the amazing people at The Estate at New Albany!! We worked with Alyssa the whole time leading up to the wedding and Jade was our person on the day of. They both were such a joy and pleasure to work with! There was not a single hiccup that we knew of and if there was the staff did an amazing job at handling it! Cause literally everything went so smooth for us. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was! We had the flank steak and blackened chicken and it was cooked perfect! You don’t see that often but the people at The Estate really out did themselves! I would recommend this place a million times over for anyone planning a wedding! Oh! And I can’t forget that they also set EVERYTHING up and boxed it up afterwards! They seriously make the whole wedding experience as stress free as possible! Thank you to all the staff!! You all are amazing and we couldn’t have done it without you all!

Best wedding venue ever!

Choosing The Estate at New Albany was the easiest and best decision we made! Our day was absolutely perfect! We worked with Alyssa for the whole process and Jade was our day of coordinator and they both did such an amazing job! We had so many compliments on the venue space! The whole staff at the Estate was amazing and we are so grateful for them! Thank you for everything!

Wedding Planning One Stop Shop

Working with the Estate was overall a wonderful experience. Kristin and Alyssa are wonderful to work with, professional, organized and always on top of everything. The Estate at New Albany provides the caterer, linens, florist and decor, cake, DJ, and of course planning assistance from Kristin and Alyssa. The open houses provided opportunities to find the few vendors required that the Estate did not provide. There are a variety of packages to pick from to get the food, alcohol, decor, extra rental time, etc and really make the day your own. Additionally the venue itself is GORGEOUS!

The one item to be careful of is costs. With every addition there is an added costs that may not be explicitly listed in the packages shown online. Take notes during vendor meetings and communicate to ensure you have all of the information. In the end when we experienced miscommunication the Estate was quick to find a remedy of the situation.

The Estate at New Albany made wedding planning easy for us as a couple with exceptionally busy lives. We highly recommend them for wedding planning made easy and a stress free big day!

Best day of my life!

I could not ask for a better day!!! They made my day so easy, everything was beautiful! They did all set up and take down which I loved. Everything is included in their pricing, except rental items. Which is the only complaint I had. In the beginning they said if they had it we could use it for free, then we had to pay for things like an altar that they already had. But it was a perfect day and gorgeous, and that is literally the only thing I could complain about

This venue is everything that a bride could hope for, and more! I am holding my ceremony and reception at The Estate at New Albany in March, and I cannot fully express how awesome this venue is. I've worked in the wedding industry for 7+ years, so I knew what I did and did not want in a venue. I never thought I would find the perfect spot, but this facility checked every box! The all-inclusive package has made planning my wedding a breeze, which is a huge bonus when you are juggling a busy work schedule. The in-house vendors are very accommodating, making it very easy to customize the space to fit your vision, and they are also some of the best in the field! Plus, the venue is within walking distance of two hotels. We have a large amount of out-of-town guests, and it's so nice knowing that they can walk between the two locations in no time (no transportation needed!) On top of all of this, Kristen (director) and Alyssa (assistant director) have been amazing to work with thus far. Both are very responsive to my emails, and have lots of experience in the industry. I know that I'm in good hands with them around! If you are looking for a venue, I would highly recommend considering The Estate at New Albany - not only is it brand new and absolutely stunning, but the customer service is out of this world!

Wonderful Venue!

I helped my son and daughter in law plan their wedding at The Estate and the day was beautiful! Having the ceremony, cocktails and reception in one place was very convenient. What was most special was having Alyssa always available to answer my endless questions and concerns about planning this special day. We received many compliments on the delicious food, and was so great when they brought out the children meals first. The entire day turned out great thanks to Alyssa and all the wonderful staff.

A Stress-free, Fun, Memorable, Perfect Wedding

My wife and I just got married this past weekend at The Estate, and we cannot recommend The Estate highly enough. Preparation for the wedding was so easy and stress-free, eliminating the need to search for and coordinate DJ/food/dessert/decor since it's all included. The Estate offered an open house, which was helpful for sampling food, viewing different table setups, and meeting with vendors. We worked with Alyssa, and she was extremely friendly, responsive, and did a great job guiding us along the way. Any questions or alterations were taken care of immediately. The venue itself is gorgeous, with an awesome atrium (that makes you go "Wow!") and plenty of space for a wedding ceremony and reception. There are several hotels within walking distance, which is very convenient. Our wedding day experience was fantastic; our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Several members of our wedding party and guests have dietary restrictions, and it was no problem coordinating gluten-free and vegetarian options for individuals who needed them. It was great to have our ceremony and reception in one place, with guests able to mingle and eat in the atrium during the cocktail hour. We don't have a single complaint about our overall experience; it was all so enjoyable!

Fantastic for any type of wedding!

The Estate was fantastic! It was so easy from beginning to end! We got married 2/2/19 which was great since the venue wasn't very busy in the winter. We worked with Alyssa and she was amazing. She was great at listening, was very organized, and understood what I was looking for. The package we went with was reasonably priced and it turned out beautifully. The venue did a great job setting up and tearing down which was very convenient not having to worry about. It was great having the ceremony and reception all at one place and the guests loved having the hotel right across the street. I would suggest to anyone to go with this venue.

We had both our ceremony and reception at The Estate, and it was an absolute dream! From our first meeting with Joy to learn about the venue, we knew we didn't need to look anywhere else. The Estate was everything we had dreamed! Kristen and Alyssa were there for us during the entire wedding planning process. They quickly answered any questions we had, and made us feel completely at ease. Alyssa was our day of coordinator, and she was so organized and helped our day to run smoothly. The decorating and set up that Alyssa and Kristen did on our wedding day made our vision come to life, and was absolutely magical. Both of these ladies are SO great at what they do. Having the catering, bartending, DJ, centerpieces, and cake included in the package at the Estate was a huge relief. It helped to eliminate some of the wedding planning stress. We were impressed with all the services provided through the Estate. Our guests raved about the food, and were in awe of how beautiful both the indoor ceremony space and reception hall were. Everyone loved having both the ceremony and reception at the same venue. I truly can't say enough good things about The Estate!

It is with great pleasure that I would like to highly recommend The Estate at New Albany for any gathering, large or small. When our daughter became engaged last summer, we met with Joy Brooks at a small office in Westerville. Construction on The Estate was just getting underway. Joy led us through a description of how a wedding might take place at her facility. She was warm and engaging and soon enough, we were signing a contract! Her words proved to be true in every sense. The wedding took place on a recent Friday evening and it was magical! Kristen (director) and Alyssa (assistant director) were there every step of the way answering all questions with patience. They both took extra care to accommodate our needs and decorate the facility to match our vision. We received so many compliments on everything about the evening. It just flowed so smoothly! Definitely check out this venue before booking anywhere else!

I got married at The Estate in August 2018 and am very happy with my experience! The venue and outdoor ceremony space are gorgeous. I looked at a couple other venues but was getting frustrated with the nickel and diming, lack of price transparency, and inflexibility at these venues. From my first conversation with Kristen Pulcheon, I could tell that my experience at The Estate would be different. I took advantage of the simply elegant package which was an AMAZING price for an (almost) all-inclusive package! My final cost was about $5,000 less expensive than comparable venues for a Friday & included more services! Prices were upfront, kids were accounted for, and any changes were updated online where I could see all of the pricing & notes. Did I mention that the ladies at the Estate did ALL set up and take down?!

Kristen and Alyssa went above and beyond to help me research and rent chair pads, order a stage for my band, get our favorite local beer on tap, set up drapery on the pergola, and attach my go pro to my pergola floral to record my ceremony for my grandpa. I greatly appreciated Kristen’s customer service skills (ie. “I can’t guarantee x, y, and z, but let me ask and see what I can do; if not here is an idea of an alternative you would like!”). Alyssa was new and came into the picture mid-wedding planning. She didn’t have quite the same customer service skills but was on her game on my wedding day, making everything go smoothly and effortlessly.

I was a little iffy about using their florist after I read a couple not so great reviews, but I have to say, she was good! I do recommend upgrading your centerpieces (not advertised) to a larger size. I also recommend Michelle Sauer who makes cakes for the Estate. We also did an extra food tasting outside of their open house which helped us pick our meals and guests loved the food. I would change nothing about my day, I highly recommend The Estate!

We did not receive what we paid for!!

The Venue is wonderful. Lovely building, lovely interior and exterior setup. My wife and I visited a plethora of wedding venues. What initially set this venue apart from the others was the "All Inclusive" package this venue offered. Rather going shopping for different vendors such as: Cake, Table Linens, Music, Flowers etc; this venue provides it all. HOWEVER the all inclusive package is a basic bare minimum package. The venue provides the basic necessities but you will definitely be hit with up charges on everything! ( This was not articulated thoroughly nor conveyed during the initial sales meeting) Communication was not the best. Regarding these up charges, again we were sold on everything being included with our wedding package yet when we attended our Floral appointment (for example) we are that the told only items included are centerpieces. Bouquets, ceremonial floral arrangements, reception arrangements etc were extra $$$. Every vendor appointment, expect an upcharge. The sales rep did not do a great job explaining all the details regarding these services. Hindsight, the sales rep definitely seemed like a used car salesman using the "dates are filling up quick tactic" "hey we are all inclusive, all in house vendors 1 stop shop sales pitch. Sounds nice but you do not get what you imagine unless you are willing to pay well above your budget. Lastly on the communication, the representatives were not very accommodating. They were really "matter of fact" about everything "it is what it is" mentality and didn't really cater to our needs and requests to make the day blissful. This is not the professionalism you expect for a monumental moment in your life and for the amount of money you are spending. If it wasn't for us bringing our own DJ, this experience would of been horrible.

Again great venue, but the service and accommodations are not worth the 10s of thousands you are paying!

Beware of this venue

Buyer beware this venue is out to make a buck at all costs. We have a wedding planned this May which they are legally not able to host because of Covid, but still want paid. They tried to change the date to a Tues a year from now, and then when we didn't accept that they mysteriously found a new date this summer. If they can't hold the event for the new date they want to give us a 50% refund for doing nothing. They claim they are a family owned business that have been in bussiness for years, so why would you take advantage of a young couple? Why would you take their hard earned money while offering nothing in return. SHAME ON YOU! I HOPE COVID SINKS YOU!

Take your wedding day elsewhere

I want to write this review to warn other couples who are planning a wedding with The Estate. Two days before our wedding date in October 2020, my husband tested positive for Covid-19. We spent thousands of dollars for this day and it was essentially thrown down the drain because The Estate was unwilling to refund us a single penny. We were not given an option to somehow give our guests the dinner/cake/alcohol that was paid for as well. We understand that we signed a contract with this venue, but due to the circumstances that were completely out of our control, we felt that asking for something in return was not unfair. We were left with absolutely nothing to show for from this venue. I truly don’t know how these women sleep at night, knowing how wrong this is. I am writing this review because we want to make other couples aware of our experience. Knowing what I know now, I would never recommend this venue to anyone.

We are deeply disappointed to read your review on multiple platforms regarding The Estate. Like you, many couples have experienced the effects of COVID and unfortunately, just days before your wedding, the impact hit very close to home.

While we recognize you write to share your opinion of your experience, we strongly disagree with the validity of this review. When you notified The Estate of your situation, we expressed our deepest sympathy for what you and your then fiancé were experiencing. Just days following your wedding date, the below email communication was sent your way offering several options:

Hi Katy
Lovely chatting with you this morning and again, Congratulations on your marriage! Your aunt is amazing to have thought of the vow exchange via Zoom.

To recap our conversation, you have a couple of options:
1. Rebook to new date with a $5,000 credit toward a wedding and pay the difference of the new event. Open to any available date (pricing per person subject to year).
2. Use $5,000 credit to host any sort of event with The Estate within 9 months, not just a wedding. For example, a holiday party, post wedding brunch, family celebration, etc.
3. Enjoy being married and know that you’re not required by any means to host any event.

Once you’ve had the opportunity to discuss, just let us know what you decide. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

In the days following that email, there was additional communication to further clarify the presented offers, though on October 23, 2020, you shared “After talking with David and my parents, we have decided that we do not want to book a future event at The Estate. Our hearts just aren’t into anymore.”
Furthermore, you reached out asking for a full monetary refund, and at that time expressed great joy in working with our team. We too enjoyed working with you and further shared our admiration of the planning and preparations you, David and your families took toward creating the wedding of your dreams. We reiterated our offer of a $5000 credit to use toward a future date. Your request for a monetary refund was not an option; you understood your contract, and we trusted you understood cancelling your wedding the day prior meant that all vendors, staff, food, beverage, florals and rentals were paid in full.

It is truly unfortunate that David contracted COVID. We express great appreciation to each of our clients for entrusting The Estate team with such memorable life events. We are a company built on family, integrity, and gratitude, and we again, wish you and David a lifetime of happiness.
