I can't say enough great things about The English Manor. From the venue, the staff, the food, price, and coordination of the day- everything was beyond perfect. My husband and I fell in love with the gardens area for the ceremony space and the deck/patio for the outdoor cocktail hour. The reception room is gorgeous, and the EM staff work with you to make your vision come to life and they are all so friendly. We had Marlyn as our Maitre'd and she went above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly. She did so much but to name a few, she brought us waters while taking family photos, bussled my dress, helped with a boutonnier crisis, and consistently brought us our signature drinks without us even asking. We received soooo many compliments about the food, both cocktail hour & dinner. It is DELICIOUS and there is so much of it! Our wedding was an absolute dream at The English Manor .

Breathtaking venue with exceptional service
I cannot begin to express how incredible our experience at The English Manor was. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is stunning. We looked at over 10 venues and after stepping inside of The English Manor, we knew this is where we wanted to start our beginning. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and we felt so well-supported throughout the entire process. We especially loved working with Troy. I had no doubt that my vision for the night would come to life with him in charge. All our needs were met from the minute we stepped foot into the venue until we walked out. Chrissy was also my bridal attendant and made sure that we were fed and had drinks all night long. The staff is truly exceptional and I could not have asked for anything more from them.
The atmosphere was everything I imagined and more, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how beautiful the setting was. Whether it was the ceremony space, the reception area, or the overall ambiance, every corner of the venue exceeded our expectations. Even though it ended up being a very windy day, Troy made sure to still pull off having our ceremony outside and our pictures were breathtaking in the garden.
The food is also incredible. We got married April 13th, 2024 and we still have people raving to us about how great the food was. Food was extremely important to us when picking the venue and they came through with their promise. After each person received their meal, they even came around and asked if anyone would like seconds. We also did the pork roll to go station and that was a big hit. I have people telling me that it was some of the best food they ever had at a wedding before.
If you're looking for a place that will make your wedding day feel like a dream come true, I wholeheartedly recommend The English Manor. They made our day unforgettable, and I’ll always cherish the memories we made there. Thank you so much for making our wedding everything we ever dreamed of! I cannot recommend you guys enough.

Incredible team, food, and grounds for a perfect wedding!!
We got married at The English Manor at the end of October, and it was absolutely perfect. Chrissy, our wedding coordinator, initially gave us a tour, helping us envision every detail of our wedding day. We instantly fell in love with the venue’s charm and elegance, from the garden ceremony space to the cocktail hour and stunning reception area.
Chrissy was our main point of contact throughout planning and introduced us to our Maitre D, Marlyn. Marlyn is simply incredible, and we were thrilled to have her by our side on our wedding day. She worked magic in every detail, answered all our questions promptly, and made us feel truly special. I’ll genuinely miss this team; they were nothing short of perfection.
The English Manor has everything you need for an unforgettable wedding—from incredible food that guests raved about long after the day, to beautiful grounds for a picturesque ceremony, a charming cocktail hour, and an amazing reception. The team genuinely listened to our vision and cared deeply about making it a reality. I had no stress on our wedding day because they handled everything. Marlyn’s attention to detail and incredible talent made all the difference; I wish everyone could have a Marlyn on their big day.
The English Manor is, without a doubt, the best place to celebrate your wedding. Our out-of-town guests especially loved the “night cap” station with pork rolls to take home—a perfect New Jersey touch to end the night.

Our wedding at The English Manor was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
The team at The English Manor was incredibly professional and attentive to every detail, specifically our planner Marlyn . From our initial consultation to the final farewell, they made sure our vision was brought to life. We were fully able to focus on enjoying the day without worrying about logistics. Everything was beautifully coordinated, from the stunning décor to the delicious catering. Everyone is still raving about the food!
The venue itself is breathtaking, with both indoor and outdoor spaces that provided the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception.

Truly the charm of a New England home with modern professionalism. Guests still rave about the food and the venue itself and I can't think of a single moment that wasn't smoothly orchestrated or we weren't taken care of thanks to the whole staff and our maitre'd Troy.
Troy walked us through the day, setting a basic timeline and made sure every moment we wanted was there. He handled every aspect of that day from my arrival to when we picked up decorations. Troy answered all my questions and executed the things I said were important to me (pictures with family, making sure everyone was served cake, especially Grandma!) and even my added moment to dedicate my bouquet to my mom.
Wedding Wire asks for a flexibility rating - the English Manor is a wedding factory but it means they know what they're doing! I was grateful for direction to work with, they accommodated all my reasonable asks/change-ups and executed the whole day perfectly. If you're worried about curve balls, you're in good hands.
I recommended the English Manor to multiple recently engaged couples - was sad to hear it won't be available for most of 2025 due to renovations.

Our 11.12.23 Wedding!
We got married at The English Manor on November 12 and I cannot say enough amazing things about them! Every detail was impeccable. We had Marlyn as our day-of coordinator and she hit every mark and surpassed them beyond any expectations and dreams. At our finalization meeting, we added on an extra 30 minutes on site prior to the ceremony, which ensured we would get all the pictures with immediate family and our bridal party prior to the ceremony. Our wedding ran so smooth and without a blip. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the cake (provided from Tinton Falls Pastry Chef) was delicious, and the service provided was absolute perfection. We are blessed beyond measure to have found our perfect wedding venue and will be looking back on our day for many, many years to come! THANK YOU ENGLISH MANOR!

Incredible nye wedding: book here & use marlyn
We could not have been more happy with our experience. From the minute we booked we felt so cared for. The maitre’d that led us through our initial tour no longer works at English Manor, but that was no issue whatsoever. Marlyn picked up like she had been with us from the very beginning. EVERY email was answered with ease IN THE MOST TIMELY OF FASHIONs, and all concerns (really more so questions) were addressed.
Our details meeting was so thorough and I went into our day feeling completely confident that my vision would come to life. IT DID AND THEN SOME. Again, I truly believe this was all because of Marlyn and Jen. I am Type A, so this was something I was very concerned about. From the minute we set foot on the venue property the morning of our wedding until the minute we left we were absolutely blown away. Marlyn and Jen were just so above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. I would’ve had Marlyn at my wedding as a guest because I love her so much. I went through my day stress free without any type of professional coordinator (which was shocking for me!). marlyn handled absolutely every single detail and issue that arose. (Again, none of which were her fault lol.)
Marlyn walked around with me, carried my bouquet, made sure my phone got to my good friend to snap some photos, made sure I had a drink in my hand every minute I wanted it, and just thought of absolutely everything. She even SCRUBBED the dirt off my dress from the rain so it was perfect.
I cannot recommend this stunning venue enough! Although, a team is only as good as their players. so, more importantly, i cannot recommend marlyn enough. Our guests are still raving about the venue, scenery, food, and atmosphere.
We are so happy with our choice! And ILY MARLYN, SO MUCH. 🤍🥹✨

The Venue Is Just a Dream
Amazing!!! My husband and I had our wedding in September and it was truly the most amazing day and more than we could have imagined!!
Marlyn was assigned as our maitre d and my goodness she is just amazing!! She made sure every idea and detail was completed and she was so attentive! Along with Marlyn, the staff at English Manor is just terrific. Everyone was so nice and helped make our day so special. They also made sure our family and guests were taken care of.
The food... FANTASTIC!! Every single thing was delicious and we are still having guests tell us how great the cocktail hour and dinner was!

Perfect Wedding Venue!
Our wedding was October 2022 and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Over the last two weeks, we keep hearing comments from all of our guests about how incredible everything was: the food, the space, the gardens, the staff, everything. From the moment we walked into The English Manor two years ago, we were so impressed by the aesthetic beauty of the grounds, the professionalism of the staff, and the spectacular wedding packages. Their website is wonderfully clear and perfectly transparent, so we want to focus on some aspects of important to us here that could not be as easily found on those pages. Lisa (the owner) actually gave us our tour originally and we fell in love with her spunk and clear passion for her business. One particularly impressive distinction that she showed us was the state-of-the-art sound system that allowed music to be blasting on the dance floor while not overwhelming the entire space and therefore allowing guests to be talking at the tables without shouting (our guests loved this). Maddie in the office was around to happily answer any questions we had over the two-year process promptly and efficiently and worked with us to ensure that all of our needs were addressed. Wedding planning during an ever-changing pandemic was less than ideal and Maddie worked with us to keep us as calm as possible each step of the way. Along with Maddie, Marlyn (our fabulous maitre’d) worked with us to accommodate some specific dietary needs for some of our VIP guests to ensure everyone not only had food to eat but options at that throughout the night. While the food was terrific, we are beyond impressed by The English Manor’s policy of donating all leftover food to a local shelter at the end of the wedding. The passion for giving back to the community left a very important impression on us. One last note of appreciation is needed here on The English Manor’s inclusive nature. As a gay couple, we wanted to make sure that our wedding left us both feeling empowered and celebrated at all moments. Lisa, Maddie, Marlyn, and the rest of the staff actively did this and then some. Our cocktail hour even featured a pumpkin with two grooms carved into it! Everything was perfect and we are so beyond impressed by everything here and grateful for the people who made it happen. Great venue with attentive staff
Just attended my first wedding at The English Manor. I found the grounds beautiful! Picture perfect for anyone wanting that garden feel. The venue is set up well from cocktails to the ballroom. Bridal suite is pretty for getting ready shots. As a wedding planner in my past life I understand how the behind the scenes work and I must say the staff is very attentive and on their game. Once thing I really thought was nice is that from the start of your planning and booking, you are working directly with the person who will actually manage your wedding on the day of. The couple worked with Troy from the beginning of their journey and he really was able to know the couple and understood the vision. I came to help on the day to coordinate for the couple and Troy and his staff had everything to the tee that bride wanted for her day. What really makes a great venue and staff are those who can problem solve quickly. For the wedding, the weather wasn’t on our side but the Troy was able to get both ceremony sites ready to go so that we can make an audible play really close to the start time. We came up with ideas together to enhance the ceremony look inside just as beautiful as the outside. Throughout the night Troy was able adjust and make changes as needed to keep the flow going.
I found the food very good and plentiful. Cocktail hour filled with great choices.
It is also great venue because it is just one wedding happening at a time
I think this is great choice great venue and stress free day!! Def recommend!

The English Manor is such a beautiful venue with impeccable grounds, a gorgeous ballroom, amazing staff, and even more amazing is the amount of the most incredibly delicious food they offer in their wedding package. It's so worth the very affordable price! What a hidden gem this place is! Marlyn was our Maître-D and she was absolutely incredible! If you haven't already checked this place out, you should definitely do it! It should be a must see on everyone's venue tour search in central NJ! Highly recommend!!

OH MY GOD. Let me just say they exceeded my expectations of my wedding day beyond belief . People are raving about the property on how stunning it was . The food was AMAZING!!!!! Everything I could have dreamed about for my wedding day came true. People were raving about cocktail hour and dinner all day long . They were raving about how clean and perfect the venue was . My maitre d was Maryln, holy crap can’t even begin to start on how perfect she was . She was phenomenal. She literally was there every single min I needed her as well as for my now husband. She was perfect like beyond perfect . I couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better maitre d. She was literally by my side the whole day. The English manor was absolutely amazing , the feel of it, the servers were impeccable , the bartender was amazing. I loved everything about my day and how everything was absolutely perfect because of them.

Troy was amazing to work with from start to end! If he is your Maitre D’, trust that you are in great hands! We were not sure what to expect as we hadn’t seen many reviews, but we knew we were in great hands regardless. During our finalization meeting, Troy spent so much time really understanding our needs, wants, confusions, and everything in between. He gave us a no-pressure vibe that gave us the confidence that our day would turn out perfectly. As our wedding day grew closer, he was never hesitant to let us know what he needed from us, or what we had not thought about. He was always available to us and responsive to our questions day or night. There were many times that we texted him late at night not expecting a response until the next day, but we received responses within minutes. During our rehearsal he really pieced everything together for us and gave our bridal party and family the confidence in knowing what to expect the next day. He brought a sense of calm to us throughout the entire process, and we knew that on the day of, we would be fully taken care of. He really made sure that our wedding day was perfect, and we left the venue at the end of the night without a doubt that without him, that perfect bow on the day would not have happened. We can’t recommend Troy enough! He really is an amazing person!

We LOVED the English Manor - they immediately made us feel special, not like we were just one of many couples getting married there.
They assigned us a maitre'd, Kristi, who was so friendly and always available to answer every little question.
This venue is perfect for any couple like us, who wants to get married in a lovely venue and does not want to make a thousand decisions and hire individual vendors for food, cake, drinks, etc. The fact it's all included was a HUGE selling point - the only things we had to provide was music, flowers and a photographer.
Definitely check them out - you won't regret it!

We love the em!
There are not enough words to truly describe how incredible The English Manor is as a venue. We knew we felt at home the first time toured. Down to the last detail, Marlyn was extremely attentive and helpful in all aspects of our day. She was extremely organized and made us feel confident in putting our day in her hands from our first meetings to walking down the aisle. They were also very understanding and accommodating of our needs for accessibility, and had a solution for every question or detail that came up. Their entire staff was lovely and so attentive, making sure that we were all having an amazing time and that we had everything we needed at all times. Having a “one wedding at a time” venue made the ceremony and reception so intimate and incredible. It goes without saying that the grounds of the EM are the most picturesque and gorgeous setting for such a romantic day, and the ballroom is absolutely incredible! Between that and the food, we have so many of our family and friends still raving to us over how amazing our wedding was. Everything came together perfectly, even getting to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside on an iffy weather day. The sun was shining and everything worked out wonderfully with their guidance!

Our The Maitre d Kriti was the most professional and loving person ever! We love her so much. She really went all out to make our day special. We can't do this without her and the amazing staff. Made our wedding a dream come true!
My husband and I got married here on November 28th, 2021. We were originally supposed to get married on October 4th, 2020. Like most couples, that changed due to covid. The English Manor was MORE than accommodating, kept us up to date every step of the way and answered any questions we had promptly. When the time came closer to our November date and we finally met our maitre'd Kristi, everything began to fall into place. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I were blown away. It was truly everything we imagined it to be and more. The grounds, the food, the service, everything was AMAZING! So many of our guests, both during and after, told us how beautiful our wedding was. We got many compliments about how great the food was and how amazing the staff was. Kristi remembered every little detail and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our day. If you're unsure of a venue for your wedding, have it at the English Manor. You will not be disappointed!

There isn’t enough food things I can say about The English Manor! The food was amazing the whole night - I got so many compliments on it from guests. The waiters and bartenders were awesome too! Having wine on the tables? GENIUS! It kept the bar line shorter and people loved it. Kristi was my MD and she was a literal godsend! She kept me calm, she kept the boys bin order, and she kept everything running smooth the whole night. Oh and she was the only one who could do my bustle! I loved having my wedding at EM! The Most Perfect Day!!
We cannot say enough great things about the English Manor! We were married on 10/02/21 and the entire day went so smoothly thanks to our maitre'd Kristi and the rest of the EM team. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we visited and booked it right away pre-covid. Luckily we didn't have to reschedule our wedding date at all but thought the whole process, the EM team was always there ready to answer all my emails and questions. The food was great, the space was perfect, and the staff was so nice! The EM could fit into most budgets which was also a plus as well! Thank you so much for making our special day incredible! Our guests had such a great time! We are hoping to attend the EM as guests some day because we loved it so much!

A true fairytale
How do I even put into words how incredible the staff at English Manor is? From the moment we walked in on a rainy January afternoon we felt at home! The charming atmosphere of the manor mixed with its trendy amenities made us feel like we just stepped into a fairytale.
Although, Covid forced us to reschedule our wedding, never once did we feel the stress and anxiety we heard from other couples planning to get married during this time. From upbeat phone calls assuring us our day would be worth the wait, to prompt email responses when we had questions Kristi was phenomenal!!!
Fast forward to July 24, 2021 a day that will be forever considered, the best day of our lives! The entire day felt like a dream. I still can not get over how this venue completely exceeded our expectations! From the outrageous food to the beautiful grounds surrounding the outdoor cocktail hour, our guests are still raving about our wedding a month later! We we’re humbled by so many saying this was “the best wedding they’ve ever attended.” There was not a simple touch missing. This of course, is all thanks to the our incredible maitre’d, Marlyn!!

My daughter's wedding is booked for October 2020.
When we visited almost a year ago, all those involved were welcoming and professional.
The idea of having a tasting before booking is brilliant--why book if the food is not satisfactory is their thinking. Totally makes sense.

Absolutely everything we could have asked for!
My husband and I just got married yesterday and I felt so compelled to write our review ASAP. Our entire experience from the second we walked in 11 months before our wedding date was incredible. We had the privilege of working with a few different ladies through the planning process and they were each so helpful with all of my silly questions and concerns. As our wedding day approached we were absolutely blessed to meet and work with our Maître D, Kristi. Our day would not have been as amazing as it was if not for her... she was kind, helpful, understanding, and honestly just all around wonderful (my husband and I just keep saying we just want to be her friend lol). Every detail was executed flawlessly by all of the staff - from set up, to food, and all around friendliness. Before the night was over guests were continuously coming up to us to compliment the venue, staff, and food - which was INCREDIBLE. The presentation and taste blew us all away and I’m super grateful they sent us home with leftovers so we get to enjoy it twice! We’re seriously hoping a friend gets married there so we can experience the magic again. We were truly so blessed with our entire wedding day and are beyond happy our guests had just as much as we did. So many said it was the best wedding they have ever been to (and of course we agree)!!

The Perfect Wedding Venue
My husband and I got married at The English Manor on 12/7/2019 and we cannot say enough great things about our experience. From the day we booked the venue (18 months ahead of time), until the day of our wedding, the service was incredible! There are a lot of horror stories out there about planning a wedding and everyone at The English Manor made it the easiest and smoothest process for us! They were always available to answer any questions beforehand either over the phone or email. We came to the venue multiple times to show our families and also for our menu tasting, and the staff was always welcoming and professional.
On the day of our wedding, The English Manor staff really made the day go flawlessly. Our Maitre D Marlyn went above and beyond for us and she was truly amazing! She was so organized and detail oriented and she made our vision for our wedding day come to life. Our head waitress Silvana was so attentive and made sure we always had food and drinks with us throughout the night. Not only were we impressed with the service, but our guests raved about the service we received. We have had so many people compliment the service the night of our wedding and for the days following.
Not only was the service incredible – but the food was outstanding! The English Manor was super accommodating to dietary restrictions and they were able to slightly tailor our menu to adjust for that. We are so grateful for that and could not believe the quality and how great everything tasted! The cocktail hour food was incredible and so were the entrees! Our guests were so impressed by the taste and the endless options throughout the night!
The grounds were decorated for Christmas and it was the perfect touch for our winter wedding! The staff did a great job decorating and we hardly needed any decorations of our own. The venue is absolutely stunning both inside and out!
We had such a wonderful experience & would recommend The English Manor to anyone! If you’re looking for a top tier wedding venue that truly goes above and beyond, this is the place for you! Thank you to all of the staff & our Maitre D Marlyn, you all made our day the best day of our lives. We are so thankful to have chosen The English Manor for our wedding venue!

The English Manor was Perfection!
I had my wedding here this past November and let me tell you I have never received so many compliments from my guests! Lisa & of course our Matre D Kristi, were BEYOND AMAZING! The outdoor space was everything I was looking for & the inside was even better! The new reception room was gorgeous, especially with the changing of lights to the color of your choice. The food was AMAZING, my guests couldn't stop raving about it & the service with just so professional & on point! When you needed a drink Kristi was there with one in your hand for you! I can not even explain how perfect everything was! Kristi made my vision come true with the setup of all the decor I made. I like to THANK Kristi most of all for answering all my emails & texts, but also THANK YOU to the whole staff that made that day the most memorable of my life! I would HIGHLY recommend the English Manor for your wedding!!

Best Night of Our Life!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the English Manor and the staff. Kristi is absolutely amazing! From booking the venue to the end of our wedding night, everything was perfect. The staff is so professional and responsive. I could text Kristi at any time with any question and she would quickly respond. Kristi is very knowledgeable and excellent at what she does, which made us feel more relaxed and the night went so smoothly. The food is delicious! There are so many hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour and the Mac and cheese bar was a huge hit! The grounds are so beautiful and the venue itself is intimate and quaint. Choosing the English Manor for our wedding venue was the best decision we made. Thank you to everyone at the English Manor who made our wedding perfect!

Beautiful Christmas Wedding
The staff at the English Manor is amazing!! Kristi was the absolute best. She was always available to answer questions and helped to make our day perfect. The English Manor is beautifully decorated for the holiday season, which helped to make our December wedding even more memorable.

Absolutely incredible!! Lisa and her team does an amazing job. Kristi went above and beyond every step of the way to make everything about the day flawless! I couldn’t not have ask for a better venue especially for the price! They were able to work with you and make the day exactly what you want! Also the food was phenomenal, also they are affiliated with Clark’s Landing so they provide second dinners to their guests. From all of the big details to all of the little ones, our day was perfect because of Kristi. Also our pork roll sandwich exit station/favor was a huge hit!

Beyond amazing
I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff, food, service, and communication was at The English Manor. From the day we booked until the day of my wedding, if I had a question about ANYTHING, I would immediately get a response from a staff member. The day of my wedding was flawless and I am not just saying that because it was " our day. " Kristi our Maitre D was AMAZING to work with and made sure the day of my wedding was nothing less than perfect. THE FOOD ! To this day, people are still commenting on how amazing the food and cocktail hour was. Anyone looking for a venue that can offer amazing service, outstanding professionalism, and the touch of making you feel like you're a part of their "family" THIS IS THE VENUE FOR YOU. Grateful for our decision to get married here
The English Manor nailed it. We had our wedding in August ‘19 and could not recommend the English Manor any more. From our very first visit, we knew the English Manor was our dream location. The grounds are beautiful for outdoor ceremonies and outdoor cocktail hours (natural and not too manicured which was great since we wanted a rustic feel) and the inside ballroom was just recently updated. It’s tasteful, classic and not overly lavish (again, something we were looking for - we wanted an authentic and non-pretentious feel). The food was downright delectable and we still have friends and family talking about how much they loved certain items 3 months later! The funny thing is that each person who raves about the food seems to have a different item that they enjoyed most. This showed us that the food all-around was excellent and not just a few select items. The English Manor also allowed us to do a taste testing with our parents which seems to be rare these days and was a much added bonus (and also fun!). The dance floor is a little on the smaller end for 150 people but we also had a big dancing crowd in which a good 50% of people consistently danced the entire night. The smaller dance floor made it look somewhat full but we saw this as a positive because it felt lively! Last but not least, the staff and especially our maitre’d Kristi Lippiello were incredible! These people love to put on weddings and it shows! They made our day so special and worry-free by taking care of all of the details - even ones we missed ourselves. Everyone was lovely to work with and Kristi was very accessible and knew how to put a bride at ease. Looking back, it’s surreal how stress-free our wedding experience was - the wedding day itself and the months leading up to it - and this was in large part due to the English Manor. Again, we cannot recommend this place any more. Other than our decision to marry each other, our selection of the English Manor as our wedding venue was the best decision we made for our wedding day!

July 4th Wedding
All I can say is WOW! This place had it all, location, food, and staff were out of this world. Our whole family was impressed by how professional everything was done throughout our whole wedding process.
To start the outside grounds are just absolutely stunning. We had a summer wedding and the outside was the most amazing backdrop of our ceremony and cocktail hour.
The food was beyond impeccable and impressive. I’ve been to many weddings where I have left hungry and disappointed. Let me tell you there wasn’t one thing I ate that was not delicious. From the apps to the dinner and dessert, our guests all raved about how delicious everything was.
Lastly, the staff. I was so lucky to have gotten to work with Kristi as my maître d’. She went above and beyond her duties and made our day truly so special. She was beyond sweet and caring and really made us feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave our wedding in the hands of than her.
I could talk for hours about how amazing our experience was. We can’t thank everyone enough at the EM who made our wedding day come together so perfectly!

Absolutely Perfect Venue
The English Manor was everything we wanted in a wedding venue and more. The grounds were perfect for pictures. The green backgrounds, colorful flowers, and beautiful barn door was everything that I was looking for. The food at the cocktail hour was a huge hit. We still have friends and family today talking about how great the food was and how the choices were endless at cocktail hour. The ballroom was gorgeous and the up-lighting in the room made the dance floor the place to be. We received raving reviews about dinner. Our guests loved the options, the wine on the table, and the service. Dessert was also provided to each table of mini ice cream cones, pastries, and chocolate covered strawberries. The food, atmosphere, and service were incomparable to any reception I have ever experienced.

If you want an Incredible wedding go to the English Manor!
Saturday, July 13, 2019 my daughter, Katie and her fiance’ Chris got married and the reception was at the English Manor. I can’t say enough about the beautiful venue The English Manor is. Their maitre d Kristi greeted the bridal party and took care of their wants and needs. She was wonderful, nothing was ever a problem for Kristi, from the planning stages to the end of the evening.
The bridal party took pictures on the beautiful grounds at the English Manor. One of the many reasons we picked the English Manor was to take pictures on the grounds, from the front with the stately manor look, the antique barn doors to the back with the bridge, the gazebo , the waterfall set in an amazing garden of flowers and foliage. When they finished the bridal party pictures they joined their guests at the Welcome Bar set up in the Garden Room. The Welcome Bar was a huge hit for guest who arrived early. The cocktail hour was outside on the great patio where the food was plentiful and delicious and the drinks were flowing. Dinner was served in the elegant ballroom. Dinner was amazing, every option was delicious. Guest were raving how good the food was! The bride and groom cut the cake and dessert was served. The cake was delicious and included in the package. The bride had picked the cake she wanted at a cake tasting with about 12 options. Also, mini ice cream cones were served on a bed of sprinkles and pastries were placed on each table. The servers, the bartenders, and all staff at the English Manor were professional, friendly, and attentive.
I would like to thank Lisa, the owner, for such an amazing venue. A special thank you to Kristi who paid so much attention to detail and kept the day and evening running smoothly in her sweet and friendly way.
I am so glad we had our daughter’s wedding at the English Manor. The guests comments were, “best wedding”, “so much fun”, “had a great time”, “food was amazing”, “best wedding I’ve ever been to”, as they were passing the exit station with pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwiches wrapped up so the guests could take one home!

Wish We Could Do It Again!
I fell in LOVE with the English Manor the first time I walked in and knew it was the venue for me and my now Husband. The staff was welcoming, accommodating, patient and beyond knowledgable.
During the wedding planning process, The English Manor was there every step of the way to help with planning our wedding. They were easy to contact and quick to respond. They gave such helpful suggestions that they knew would work perfectly for their venue and for us as a couple. They were open-minded in my request for a light saber walk way, an additional cake & they even made an adorable sign for our signature drink.
The grounds are beautiful with newly planted flowers, a gazebo and a waterfall. The cocktail hour felt like you were in a magical garden. The reception room was also just as beautiful. It sparkled. The sound system was superb. It centered around the dance floor so the guests at their tables could enjoy themselves with conversation.
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. There was more then enough to go around & they even came for second and thirds at dinner! The mini ice cream cones were a hit.
Kristi, our Maitre'D was fabulous! She tailored to our ever need and continued to check on us throughout the night. She really made our wedding feel like ours! She also made the entire reception run smoothly. She was amazing and I can't thank her enough for making this special day less stressful & more enjoyable!
I would recommend the English Manor to anyone! Thank you to the staff at the English Manor & to Kristi for making our wedding the more memorable and beautiful night we could have hoped for!!

I just had my wedding reception at The English Manor on 3/30/19. I wish I could give this place a 100-star review. Every, single part -from the day we booked to the moment we drove away - was incredible. The service is superb. We worked with Alex during the booking process and the food tasting. Any question I had, she was quick to respond. So friendly and personable, she made us feel like she knew us forever. Kristi was our maitre'd for the wedding and she helped with the final details, cake tasting and execution of the event. As the day was approaching, I found myself having a lot of little questions. Kristi went out of her way to answer them and was so lovely about it all. Everyone we worked with seemed to really enjoy their job and genuinely cared about making our wedding the most special day for us. I felt so comfortable trusting all of the people at EM to make my wedding vision come to life. In addition to the service, the food was amazing. We both come from families who have high standards for food, and we were beyond satisfied. We opted to upgrade to the filet mignon and we were so glad that we did. Everyone in attendance was raving for days after about the wedding, especially the food. Silvana was our head waitress, and she made us feel so taken care of. She checked on us frequently throughout the night; we never wanted for anything all night. The grounds are well kept and the inside was always so clean every time we came to drop off something or attend a tasting. When we first walked in, it had a home-like feeling that felt right for us. The place is fancy and elegant in addition to being cozy and intimate. The ballroom is newly renovated to include beautiful decor and an updated sound/light system. If you're looking for an amazing wedding experience, look no further!

Book it, because it is the best!
This is the most amazing venue in every aspect. The attention to detail is diligently managed and taken seriously by staff members. When I booked this venue for my late November wedding, I knew that I wanted to do as little as possible in the way of planning and decorating. This was the perfect place for that because I was given the option to be as involved or uninvolved as I wanted. I got an all-inclusive package for an off-season wedding. The package included the décor for tables, cake, dj, and photographer. Kristi my maître d’ was the on top of everything and pretty much walked me through everything I needed to decide on, such as color of table cloths, napkins, center pieces, course choices, and cake design/flavor. The food was the best I have ever had at any wedding, AND THEY COME AROUND WITH SECONDS FOR WHOEVER WANTS MORE! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I have never been to a wedding where guests were so impressed by the venue décor, food, cake, and entertainment. To be honest I am begging my friends to have their wedding here so I can enjoy it again as a guest. The venue has amazing outdoor space and should be at the top of everyone’s wedding list because their hard work and personalization is top notch.

The BEST Venue Ever!
It took me so long to write this review because I cannot put into words how amazing the English Manor was for our wedding day. I knew from the moment that we first visited the venue that it was the “one”. I am lucky to have grown up with Kristi, our Maitre D’ and coordinator through our whole wedding process, and I truly couldn’t think of a better person for the job. She answered every question I had from the moment we booked all throughout the day of our wedding and is the kindest person you will ever meet. Whatever we needed during the wedding day, she made happen- no question or hesitation. Kristi and the whole EM staff are so incredibly knowledgeable and talented at what they do. No stone went unturned throughout the whole process to make sure the day went smoothly. I never felt like I had to figure anything out on our own because they had it covered. They are constantly updating and working to ensure they are top-notch. Between the time we booked and our wedding day, they had renovated the ballroom, finished the patio, and added uplighting! The grounds our breathtaking and we were lucky to be able to do our first look, ceremony, and cocktail hour outside (although the inside is really just as beautiful). The food is honestly the BEST and there’s so much of it! Our guests were super impressed with everything- cocktail hour, our special food stations, the seconds passed around at dinner, and the little ice cream cones! Our head waitress made sure we were always eating and drinking as well. They worked awesome with our vendors and made the day perfect. Incredible Venue
We were married at The English Manor on October 20, 2018. It was a fantastic experience from the first email! The whole team, Kristi especially, were quick with responses, flexible, and a joy to work with. Our friends and family are still raving about the food! The grounds are stunning, and the "one wedding at a time" aspect makes it feel like you happen to be throwing a huge party at your own house. We felt very much at home and are very happy with the decision to have our wedding there. We hope to attend a wedding there as a guest one day.

They treated us like royalty and made sure our daughter's wedding went perfectly! Kristi was amazing! Our guests cannot stop talking about the exceptional food and service! We had guests that are extremely picky and critical and one of them said this was the best wedding they had ever been too! We were treated like family from when we first booked 2 years ago! We llove the English Manor and we will be back!

I honestly can't say enough great things about The English Manor! They were so helpful and responsive from our initial meeting to the day of the wedding. Kristie was our maitre d' and she was so wonderful to work with! She answered all my questions and she was very accommodating to any requests we had. Everyone kept telling us during the wedding and afterwards how beautiful the venue was and how delicious all the food was! The English Manor is the BEST!
My husband and I got married on September 28, 2018 at The English Manor and our day was absolutely perfect! The team at the EM were amazing to work with. From the moment we toured the venue until our wedding day, they were nothing short of the best. They were incredibly easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions I had during the wedding process. The grounds itself were beautiful and we fell in love with it immediately even though it was on a cold, gray January day! And I can’t thank our maitre’d Marlyn enough. She made our day so easy. She was so accommodating to anything our family needed. I don’t know what we would have done without her! Our guests absolutely loved all of the food and how beautiful the entire venue looked. My husband and I had our wedding at the English Manor on September 14, 2018. I cannot begin to put into words how amazing our day was. Kristi, our maitre d', was extremely sweet and always helpful with any questions or concerns we had. From the moment my husband and I stepped into The English Manor on the day of our wedding the entire day was an absolute breeze. Our head server was the absolute best. Throughout the night she made sure we were happy, fed, and had a drink in our hand. THE FOOD. Our guests are STILL raving about our cocktail hour, and our exit pork roll station. We've had several guests approach us, and tell our parents that it was easily one of the best weddings that they had ever been to. We can't thank the The English Manor enough for making our day so special. Choose them for your wedding! They will not disappoint!

Beautiful Venue, Great Staff
We had the privileged of having our wedding at The English Manor on September 15, 2018. We had Marlyn as our maitre’d and she was absolutely amazing. Marlyn was in contact with us almost daily from the month prior to our wedding up to 2 hours before we showed up for our wedding reception. We ended up having a lot of changes to our seating chart/guest counts and we couldn’t thank Marlyn enough for all of her patience and hard work in making our day perfect. I would not change a thing about our wedding day mainly because Marlyn made everything at our reception how we dreamed for it to be! Anyone is lucky to have Marlyn as their maitre’d for their wedding, she truly made our wedding dreams come true!
As for the venue itself, the food was phenomenal from cocktail hour to dessert. The grounds were beautiful and well-kept and the outdoor cocktail hour area really made for a great experience. Everyone we have spoken to since the wedding had absolutely nothing but great things to say about The English Manor. We would recommend that anyone considering The English Manor as their wedding venue not to think twice about it, this is the place where you will have the wedding of your dreams.

Absolutely phenomenal is the only way to start a review for this establishment. Kristine and Alex are who I dealt with for all the planning details of my wedding on October 13th, 2018 and it was a flawless experience from the beginning to the end. Beyond professional would be putting it lightly to say the least about everyone at the English manor.
The communication with their staff was on point and impeccable. We had questions about something at 1130 at night? Kristine had an answer for us by 8am the next morning regardless if she was suppose to work that day or not. After receiving that type of service from her, I knew that we had made the right choice and we were blown away by the level of detail they out into our day.
Food- Phenomenal Atmosphere- phenomenal Attention to deal--phenomenonal our guests raved about every detail of the English Manor all night. She made recommendations for other wedding services that were on point and perfectly paired to our day and the level of communication between the venue staff, the photography staff, the video staff, the entertainment staff and myself was mind blowing. She spared no detail to make sure our day was unforgettable and memorable for us and our guests. I would seriously consider any recommendations she and her team would have for additional services to your event.
There was a small minor mishap(out of their control) the day before our wedding for a memorial that we had put together for our passed loved ones. I was notified about the incident approximately 9am and Kristine and her team had a solution for me before noon that day. They took apart our display, repair the damage and had it back together with time to spare for our wedding
In conclusion, you may experience some sticker shock when they start to price out your event but when the staff this in sync, with the lines of communication they provide along with the exceptional service on the day of the event, it was money well spent

I attended a wedding on 10-7-2018 and when I tell you it was the BEST time ever,starting with an outdoor ceremony, to a great cocktail hour with a wonderful selection of food, and drinks, the servers were great too. The dinner was impeccable, omg, steaks that were so tender it melted in your mouth chicken so flavorful seafood so tasty, on top of all the great food the music was fabulous. There was never a dull moment. Did i say how GREAT the food was? And on top of all that when leaving they gave out pork roll n egg n cheese sandwiches on a soft roll and water for the ride home. Who does that? So you too can have a very memorable expierence here,give it a try Im sure you will agree with me.

The English Manor was the most perfect wedding venue for our winter wedding! We got married on December 10, 2017 and Denise was our . Denise worked around the clock leading up to our big day just to make sure everything was perfect! We wanted ginger bread martini's served at our happy hour and she tried and sampled numerous recipes to make sure we had the perfect one! Everything I brought to be set up the day of the wedding was set up just perfectly on the big day. Better than I imagined it would be. I didn't make things easy, I left her with 70 rhinestone snowflakes to scatter perfectly around the venue and she did! We received a beautiful gift the day of our wedding and it was very touching. All our guests couldn't stop talking about how AMAZING the food was. Definitely the best food I have had at a wedding! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking and the snow we had the night before just added to the beauty. Thank you so much Denise and all of the staff of The English Manor for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!

I don’t even know if I can fit everything I want to say about this venue in one review, but I’ll try! From the moment we walked in during our visits to venues, we immediately felt at ease and knew this would be the one. Everything about it was perfect….the bridge to the ceremony spot, the outdoor cocktail hour, the reception room, the service….honestly every single detail was PERFECT. Even when we had seen it in the dead of winter we could imagine how wonderful it would be in June and it was! The level of professionalism from the staff is out of this world; their attention to every single detail and making sure everything was perfect is a bride’s dream. Everyone I interacted with: Alex, Kristy, Marlyn-they all treated us like we were their most important guests. The entire evening was perfect and the food was INCREDIBLE!!!! We got married here on June 22, 2018 and Kristy was our maitre de. WHERE DO WE EVEN BEGIN?!! The English Manor is absolutely breathtaking. They care a lot about the venue and are always upgrading it and making sure the greenery is absolutely perfect. Even more than that, they really care about each couple that they host a wedding for. Kristy is truly phenomenal at what she does. We felt comfortable throughout the entire process and honestly just so happy. The food is also amazing!!! Their staff is amazing as well. The waitress that was responsible for us as the bride and groom went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we had a full drink and everything that we needed the entire night. The atmosphere there is one of love, laughter, and light. From start to finish, our process there was perfect. It was a little rainy on our day and we weren't sure if we would be able to have the ceremony outside. Kristy kept us calm and collected throughout a very stressful and upsetting time and assured us she would do everything she could so that we could have the ceremony outside, and we did! She was available any time we needed her on the days leading up to teh wedding and was absolutely outstanding on the day of our wedding. We had our dream wedding at our dream venue and truly couldn't have had a better experience! From the moment my fiance, Vincent, and I walked into the English Manor we were given the star treatment. We felt like celebrities as we walked with Kristi (our future maitre'd) into the hallway that led to not only a beautiful and homey fireplace room, but also a glorious ballroom. If the venue tour ended there, we would've still left with a huge smile on our faces and a venue in our hearts - BUT - Kristi opened up a back door and walked us to the garden. The garden - a private oasis of trees, a brook, and greenery - served as the perfect background to our wedding portraits. Next to the garden, is a spacious desk adorned with a beautiful waterfall that my guests absolutely loved for our cocktail hour. Once we had our food tasting, it was officially a done deal. We booked the venue and on the wedding day, had the greatest reception, photos, and meal that I could've ever planned for. Kristi and the English Manor were A+++.

We were married at the English Manor on April 21, 2018 and I don’t even know if I can truly express my appreciation in a review, but I will try. The English Manor is simply amazing. I had a hard time finding a venue because nothing gave me the feeling I was looking for, until the English Manor. From the second we walked in, I knew I had to be married there. The grounds are beautiful, it’s charming, and intimate. Being there is only one wedding there at a time, all focus is on you and your guests! The staff at the EM was wonderful right from the start. They didn’t miss a beat leading up to or during the wedding. Kristi was awesome to work with, she is energetic, extremely accommodating and made the whole process stress free! I was in constant contact with her in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with, even when there were three weddings the same weekend! On top of all that, the food was DELICIOUS and abundant. The feeling of having all your guests rave about the atmosphere and food after all the planning is so rewarding! Thank you to the entire EM staff for making our day perfect and for being such a big part of our forever, we couldn’t have done it without you !

I had my wedding at the English Manor this past January. It is such a beautiful venue. When we began looking at wedding venues the first place we visited was the English Manor and we automatically fell in love. Everything about it felt so us. The fire place room gives the place such a cozy romantic feeling. The room for cocktail hour was so beautiful and the reception area was perfect with windows that overlook the outside area. I had chills and just knew this was better than anything I've ever imagined for myself.
The staff was absolutely amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process and very accommodating. Marlyn was our Maitre d and she was absolutely perfect! She was such a help and made us both feel like anytime we had a question we could go to her for guidance. I can't even describe how wonderful Marlyn was and how much all of her help meant to us.
The day of the wedding when I walked into the venue it was absolutely amazing. An absolute dream. They put out all of our decorations and it was just so perfect from beginning to end! All of our guests keep telling us how they have been recommending the English Manor to other people. Everyone keeps telling us what a great time they had and how delicious the food was. And there was a lot of food! Everyone was full from all the delicious food during the cocktail hour.
I would very strongly recommend this venue to any couple. I can't even express how absolutely beautiful everything was, how great the staff was, and how this was better than any dream wedding I had ever pictured for myself. I wish I could relive it all. I would not change a single thing.

Looking for a venue in New Jersey can be extremely overwhelming to say the least. After visiting 9 venues we walked into the English Manor and they seemed to have everything we were looking for. We found that most venues either offered a fabulous ambiance with a limited food package or a fabulous food package but extremely outdated ambiance. To us, the English Manor offered the perfect mix of both. The staff was extremely accommodating to our every want and need. Denise did a fantastic job making our vision come to life! She was always available in the weeks leading up to the wedding and made sure we were treated like royalty the night of our wedding. The food was fantastic and our guests were so impressed when the staff came around with huge platters of second options during the main course! Highly recommend the English Manor to all brides and grooms looking for premiere service, excellent variety of food options, and a day they will remember forever!

I got married at The English Manor on September 3rd 2017. Denise was my maitre'd. Everything was FABULOUS from start to finish. Right after I got engaged my fiance and I wasted no time searching for the perfect venue for our big day. After seeing so many venues in the shore area, and not liking anything I was feeling really hopeless.. Until I came to The English Manor. When I walked in, I suddenly got this feeling like "this is it!"
I met with Kristi the first time I toured the venue and loved it. The gardens, bridge, patio, ballroom, cocktail hour space were beautiful. The food packages were also extremely generous! It's not that place where you need the most expensive package to get an outstanding menu. We did the Majestic package and had Filet Mignon, Chicken Isabella and Flounder offered to our guests. The options for cocktail hour were endless! I knew my guests were going to leave happy and NOT hungry! I also did the Pork Roll Egg and Cheese station which was a HUGE hit!
We did our tasting approximately 5-6 months before the wedding. Everything was just fabulous! I was able to bring my parents and my fiance's parents so everyone was able to be included which I thought was so nice. The food we got to taste was outstanding! So I was so excited since my fiance and I are both foodies. For our cake tasting we did at our "finalization" appointment approximately a month before the wedding and picked out a cake that turned out BEAUTIFUL! & DELICIOUS!
Everything about the day of was perfect. Since we got married in September, everything was still blooming and absolutely gorgeous. Our outdoor ceremony in the gardens was incredible. Denise made my vision come to life and made my day perfect. The food, service and flow of the entire event was flawless. I still have guests telling me "it was the best wedding I've ever been to!" and after all the weddings I've worked/been to - I know they're not just saying that because the EM staff does a hell of a job!

We just had our DREAM wedding at the English Manor Friday evening. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Marlyn was truly amazing to work with. She was always there for any questions at anytime. The bridal suite was beautiful. There were so many beautiful spots for great photos. The food was GREAT. My husband is still talking about how good his filet was. You MUST book the porkroll exit station. It was a huge hit! Every guest has been talking about it since! Our wedding day at The English Manor was truly magical!As soon as we entered, we were immediately welcomed by Lisa who toured us around the beautiful estate. We quickly fell head-over-hells for the venue. The incredible ceremony space, the option for an outdoor cocktail hour on the beautiful deck and the stunning reception room, each part was better than the next. We quickly hopped on the opportunity to plan our dream wedding day at The English Manor. We had a phenomenal food tasting months in advance of the wedding to help choose between all of the scrumptious options. As the wedding date got closer, we met with our Maître D’, Denise, who put all of our worries aside. It was so easy working with Denise, she was always available for what seemed like the silliest of questions and she had great ideas and recommendations for the big day! The weather on our big day was phenomenal so we were able to fulfill our dream of an outdoor wedding. We were privileged be able to do our first look, bridal party and family pictures at The English Manor before our ceremony. The lush grounds made a beautiful backdrop for each and every picture. The cocktail hour and reception food were just incredible! My guests are still raving about the vast array of foods at cocktail hour and the quality and quantity of food throughout the entire event! The entire wedding day went incredibly smoothly thanks to Denise. She even fixed my bustle that broke at the start of the reception! Silvana was an extreme pleasure to work with on the wedding day. She made sure my husband and I always had something to drink and eat and she was able to accommodate every request. We felt like absolute royalty hosting our wedding at The English Manor. We can only hope to one day attend an English Manor wedding as a guest to experience it from the other side. Thank you Denise, Silvana, Lisa, Kristi and the entire English Manor team for making our wedding day better than we ever could have imagined!

Our wedding in June 2017, was beyond our expectations. Everyone on the staff was amazing and so detail-oriented. The English Manor was the best decision we made about our wedding! The food was delicious and everyone loved cocktail hour. Denis and the staff at the English Manor took care of every single detail. As soon as we arrived at The English Manor we instantly it was the one. Kristi was friendly & accommodating, going over the details & answering all of our questions as well as responding to our emails. We scheduled a food tasting, brought a few members of our families, & everyone was beyond pleased with how delicious everything as as well as the amount & variety of food! Both our families love to eat & we were worried about not having enough food, but when Kristi informed us that our guests could have seconds of their dinner we said "sign us up!". Favorites: it is a one wedding at a time place, the private backyard area, homey yet elegant look & feel of the place. Denise, our maitre'D was amazing. We had some odd requests & brought a ton of items to personalize our day & she never said no. The venue was able to use all of the items we brought & all of our guests were delighted with all of the details we included as well as how amazing the food was. Oh! the venetian hour dessert table was worth every penny. Denise answered my texts very quickly every time & she even sent me a photo of our wedding cake two days before the big day which was a special touch. Denise & staff were super attentive all day, timing every single step of the way & every detail to perfection. Silvana, our main server never let me go hungry and took care of me and anything I asked with a smile. This venue had everything we wanted and right within our budget. We took advantage of a special pricing package that included the entertainment & photographer with a great company and we did not have to worry about finding separate vendors for those 2 important services.
Advice to the company: included with our final pricing was the gratuity which in the English language means tip. We found out too late that the venue uses the word "gratuity" in place of "service charge" which are two different things, therefore, the staff went under-tipped since we assumed their tip was included in the "gratuity" line.

My husband and I looked at several wedding venues before stumbling upon the English Manor. Each venue had something that either I didn’t like or my husband didn’t. When we walked into the English Manor we both knew this was the place we were going to have our wedding and we are extremely glad we did. The venue is absolutely stunning and elegant. Whether your ceremony is outside or inside, it will be classy and gorgeous; the grounds are stunning as well as the inside.
The food is amazing at the English Manor. Cocktail hour was filled with delicious food; I highly recommend the lobster macaroni and cheese. Dinner was just as amazing, with extra food served after the meal.
Planning the wedding with our maitre’d, Marlyn, went extremely smooth. She was exceptionally helpful with every detail for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Marlyn went out of her way to make sure I had the wedding cake that I really wanted. 3/4/17 wedding

There are truly not enough words to accurately describe our wedding experience at The English Manor. From the moment my now husband and I walked in at our first appointment we felt like family. The staff is second to none. Denise was our maître D' and she is the absolute best of the best. Down to every single detail, she made our day perfect.The food was INCREDIBLE! Guests were raving about every single course. the atmosphere is wonderful and the grounds are stunning! We had our ceremony outside and the scenery looked as though it was out of a magazine!! WOW!!!! This is the only word we can use to describe our English Manor experience. We have known of the English Manor for a very long time and have always heard great things. Nothing compares to actually having our wedding there. From the beginning, Lisa, Denise, Nancy, and Kristi were nothing short of amazing. Together they fostered a friendly, and inviting environment. My bride and I were nervous going to our first meeting but after meeting with them we felt a sigh of relief. Every step of the way things got easier and easier from setting up the menu, cake tasting, and through the numerous amount of questions that we had. Their expertise is next to none. Why you would not have your wedding there? is a question all couples need to ask themselves. Denise was our Maitre’d and her vision and thought into everything was amazing. The day of our wedding was August 14. 2016 and one of the hottest days of the year! We had been stressing all week because originally it was supposed to rain and it ended up being sunny and hot. The Entire English Manor staff knew we wanted an outside ceremony and they made sure that is what we got. The “BIG DAY” went smooth and it was such an elegant and romantic experience they created for us. From the linens to the food and all in between everything was spectacular. Compliments to the chef, and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Lisa, Denise, Nancy, Kristi and the rest of the English Manor staff.

I can't say enough great things about the English Manor. Kristi and Denise were an absolute pleasure to work with. The food was amazing and my guests raved about it!! The venue is just beautiful and I barely brought it any of my own decorations because it really doesn't need anything. I had a craft beer station out on the patio which was so much fun! I also opted for the "exit station" of pork roll, egg, and cheese, which was a huge hit! HIGHLY recommend!!

The English Manor made my son and daughter in law's wedding 100% PERFECT. The food, the grounds and the staff were OVER THE TOP!!! The wedding was two weeks ago and people are still contacting me to tell me that his wedding was the best wedding they ever attended. The absolute perfect place to have your wedding! My husband and I fell in love with The English Manor when we were looking for venues two years before our wedding. We were a bit non-traditional in having our wedding on a Thursday night but that didn't stop the staff at the English Manor from providing us wit everything we wanted! Kristi helped us book our wedding and took us through our tasting and she is absolutely fantastic! The staff is always so easy to get in touch with and so willing to answer questions and help in any way possible! After waiting two years it was finally wedding time. Our Maitre'D Denise was phenomenal! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more! Every single staff member was amazing and took care of us the whole night whether it was making sure we ate enough or always had full glasses. We wouldn't change anything about our wedding and we highly recommend booking at The English Manor!

Our advice is to book this vendor!!! The English Manor is truly a hidden gem in the Monmouth County area. While there are a number of venues in the area The English Manor offers top notch, personalized service. The venue only has one wedding at a time so your wedding is the focus of the day. Additionally, the staff if just incredible & super easy to work with. We had the most amazing Mater'D, Denise. Denise was responsive, kind & detail orientated. As a perfectionist it can be really difficult to hand over everything you've worked so hard to plan to someone else but with Denise I did not have to worry. She carried out every single detail perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure that the day was unforgettable. Denise also made sure we got to taste all of the delicious food which we were super excited and happy about. Did we mention that the food is delicious & that it just keeps coming?!- Our guests were SO full by the end of the night-- but that did not stop them from enjoying the pork roll, egg & cheese exit station! We looked at about 15 other wedding venues in the Monmouth/Ocean County region, including some very upscale ones, but none compared to The English Manor. Even in dreary January, when we were first visiting, the EM is lovely. But on our July 3, 2016 wedding day, it was simply stunning. The flowers were in full bloom, the bull frogs were croaking in the stream, there were complimentary beverages before the ceremony for the guests, adorable signage, our own picture frames on display in the front room -- it was our own private wedding estate for the day, and no detail was overlooked. The EM is the complete package, good for this busy bride, and I LOVED that it was one wedding at a time. The food at cocktail hour and dinner was awesome and abundant. We got so many compliments on the quantity and quality! The staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Our maitre d, Denise, worked so hard to make everything perfect (and it was!!), even sneaking the bride and groom off to view nearby fireworks and orchestrating the perfect sparkler send off. So many people told us it was the best wedding they'd ever attended, and I believe them! HIGHLY recommend!! THANK YOU!!

Let me first off say thank you so much to Denise and the staff of English Manor, everyone made our day magical and beautiful. We knew when we were planning our wedding that we wanted One wedding at a time and beautiful grounds, English Manor had it all. From the first time we visited with Kristi it was amazing the moment we walked in the doors we knew this was the Venue for us and booked it that week. Through the whole planning process any question I had they were more then happy to assist me, and every time we went down to visit we were greeted with smiles and felt like family. At our tasting we were blown away by all the great food and knew our guest would have nothing but great things to say about the wedding!!! Every step of the way everyone as the English Manor eased any anxiety I might be having about the day. Our wedding day was magical, Denise did an amazing job!!! Everything was decorated the way we wanted and looked more beautiful then we could have imagined. The English Manor is a lovely venue for a wedding / reception and the grounds are beautiful. We cannot begin to say enough positive things about our wedding day. The food was delicious and our guests could not believe how much of it there was and said they had never been to a wedding where they were offered seconds. The English Manor was accommodating to dietary needs and the professionalism of every staff member exceeded our expectations. Not only did they make sure we had everything we needed they were also attentive to our guests. We did not hear one thing that was not positive about the venue, food or staff.
Our Maître d', Marlyn was unbelievable. In our initial meeting she said she would be taking care of all the details, assured us our day would run smoothly and that our biggest job was to have fun. Marlyn was prompt in returning texts and calls and always was one step ahead of our requests and eased our mind throughout the planning process. She provided the highest level of service we could have possibly expected and didn’t miss a beat from the moment we met her to the end of our reception. Marlyn made us feel so comfortable that there was never a doubt that this day would be perfect. Our wedding night was the same night as the World Series and we are huge Met fans. To our surprise Marlyn, brought her own television to the English Manor and set it up in the fireplace lounge. In addition, our maid of honor hurt her foot while dancing and Marlyn appeared a few moments later with flip flops for her to wear.
We heard from many guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and are still talking about it months later. We are thankful to both the English Manor and Marlyn for helping make this one of the greatest days of our lives. We would highly recommend the English Manor to anyone wanting to have a joyous wedding experience.

My husband and I got married at The English Manor back in 2013. We signed our contract 2.5 years before the big day and all of the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful since day one. Our wedding day was amazing (despite the rain and having to have our ceremony/cocktail hour inside). We still have people telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. We came back to visit in 2014 on our one year anniversary and everyone was still as sweet as ever. Definitely a place where the staff genuinely care about their clientele.

We could not of chose a better venue for our wedding than The English Manor. My husband and I were looking all over PA and NJ for a convenient location that was truly personal. We had about 90 guests so a few places would not even talk to us about having a wedding there. My sister-in-law was at a wedding years ago at The English Manor and had us come to check it out. The moment I walked across the wood bridge, I immediately got chills. It was the perfect quaint wedding venue that we were looking for! The grounds are beautifully kept and everyone is so friendly. Our first meeting was with Kristi, and she was so sweet and helpful to us! We did travel back a few times, usually with an entourage, and were always welcomed with open arms. We cannot comment enough on how accommodating everyone is! Any silly question I would have about the wedding process, they would answer for me. Once we met with Denise, she made the finalizing process so easy for us. Since we had to travel, she was available by phone, text, e-mail, fax, or any other way possible to keep in touch with us. On the day of the wedding, she kept everything under control, and was very accommodating to us! At our dinner, she made sure we received our appetizers that we were not able to get to during cocktail hour. All of our guests raved at how beautiful The English Manor is, and how delicious all the food was! We cannot say enough about this fabulous place and the wonderful women we have encountered! My fiance and I got married at the English Manor on November 7, 2015. We booked the English Manor with their Winter Wedding Package in which our photographer and DJ were included through Elite Entertainment. I highly recommend this package as working with Elite was amazing and we also saved money! We booked the venue about a year and a half in advance and for much of that time we were communicating with Kristy, who was fantastic about everything. She answered all our questions, provided us with whatever help we needed, and was always so kind. As the date got closer and we planned specifics for our reception, we worked with Denise who was available all the time for last minute questions and requests. Everyone we worked with or encountered leading up to and on our wedding day were kind, amazing, and the best people we could've worked with. And the food is to die for! Our wedding reception was fantastic--our guests are still raving about the food, the environment, and how gorgeous our venue was. The English Manor was willing to work with all of my requests from adding details to the cake, having pumpkin ice cream (they pass around ice cream cones at the reception depending on your package--so cool!), setting up a cigar station outside, and all of my DIY decorations. Denise was there the whole night of our wedding reception to make sure my husband and I were worry-free and had everything we needed. I can't thank her enough for all of her hard work that night. Everyone at the English Manor made me feel so special that day. For example, my husband and I mingled during our cocktail hour with our guests and as soon as I stepped near the food, I had a server asking what I wanted so that I could mingle and came back with food for me. Little details like this made me feel fantastic, but also allowed me to enjoy our day. I can't rave about this venue enough. I have absolutely zero regrets about having our wedding reception there as it was 100% perfect.

I made my own centerpieces and they were set up perfectly, along with all the other decorative pieces I brought in. The English Manor was the perfect place for our wedding reception. The people were so nice, pleasant, and friendly to work with. They were genuinely excited for us and interested in the little details of our wedding. They were even willing to think outside the box and personalize our dessert by setting up a frozen yogurt bar in place of cake (our first date was at a frozen yogurt shop, so that made it special). From Lisa to Nancy (our maitre d'), the people there were very easy to work with, flexible, and on top of things. Our guests raved about the venue, and especially loved how the waiters came around with seconds during dinner. We had an incredible reception and look back on it with the greatest of memories, just as we wanted our wedding day to have.

What we didn't plan on was how over-the-top the entire experience was going to be!! ALL the food was incredible from appetizers to dessert! The staff was super-amazing, especially our Maitre D' Denise. In addition, every single one of our guests told us how much they LOVED this venue!!! I don't think you could ask for anything more than that!!
Thank you English Manor for being the perfect place for my daughter's wedding!!!!! It was a wonderful start to their life together!! We went in hoping for a happy, satisfying reception and came out wishing we could go back for more!!! I have to find someone who is getting married there or having their reception there so I can get myself invited so I can eat more of their delicious food!!! Thank you again!!

FABULOUS!! I can't say enough good things about this venue. I highly recommend The English Manor for your wedding reception or special event. My son and daughter-in-law just held their wedding reception at EM. We had 172 guests, all comfortably seated in the beautiful main room. I know I speak for both sides of the family when I say we were all SO PLEASED with everything! Truly a "5 star rating" in every category.
The grounds are beautiful---manicured lawn, lovely gardens, gazebo, a lawn swing...all perfect photo sites. Fall flowers were in abundance.
From early planning stages to the "Big Event", the manager was professional, friendly, organized, and always returned calls/emails promptly. There were many options for every budget. They worked with us on centerpieces, tablesettings (etc), so everything was just perfect for the reception.
Our guests can't stop talking about the food! There were many delicious choices for the cocktail hour. The appetizer and main courses were amazing. (We chose Filet Mignon, Champagne Chicken, and Crusted Salmon) They came around with second helpings. Everything was perfectly prepared and plated. The Wedding Cake was delicious, and looked exactly as the bride and groom requested.
The wait-staff was attentive, professional, and cheery. Everyone was smiling, happy---it made for a delightful atmosphere. The reception room, indoor cocktail room, outdoor deck, and fireplace lounge rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean.
Three cheers for The English Manor! You will be glad you chose this venue!

I may have had the best wedding in the history of all time and I credit a lot of that to the The English Manor. Walking in for my first tour of the place, it just felt right. I talked with Kristi and loved her energy. When they told me I could have my pug as my ring bearer for the ceremony I was sold. The food was out of this world. We were assured that there would be no shortage of food during the ceremony, and they kept their word offering our guests seconds and thirds and letting guests take their extra food home with them.
We wanted an outdoor ceremony, but the weather report was saying otherwise. They had the indoor reception room set up just incase (it was gorgeous). At 5:55PM when the rain had yet to start, my maitre'd, Marlyn, spoke with us individually to let us know it would probably have to be inside. When we both showed that we were still really hoping to pull it off outside and test our luck (it was a short ceremony 15 minutes tops), she made it happen. We got almost all the way through when it began to pour, and Marlyn was quick to announce the way back inside. The staff was ready with a ton of umbrellas, and because they were so well prepared, that experience was actually a ton of fun and very memorable. We also got really great pictures outside with that amazing sky. Within 3 minutes, the ceremony resumed inside and it was incredible. The rest of the night, Marlyn was amazing with keeping everything on schedule. Our server, Silvana, provided some of the best service we have ever experienced. The English Manor saved us a lot of trouble by giving us options and taking care of the cake, the ceremony set up, the food, drinks, centerpieces, and cute signs and decorations around the foyer and bar. We simply had to choose our favorites. When I asked for St. Germaine for our signature drink, they ordered a bunch of it just for us.

Everything about this venue was wonderful. Our situation was somewhat difficult as we live out of state but the staff at the EM was so accommodating and helpful in planning. They worked around our limited schedule and was still able to provide everything we wanted and more !!! Our wedding included a large amount of out of town guests, every single one of them loved everything about the venue, especially the food. We had many guests say that this was the best wedding they had ever attended and the EM is the reason behind that. Personally, the staff made our wedding run smoothly while allowing us to enjoy the night and make sure we had everything we needed.

My husband and I had our wedding at The English Manor on August 23, ,2015. The English Manor took care of all the details so we could enjoy our special day. All guests were very impress about the service, quality and venue itself. Great feedback received from family and friends. We definitely would like to recommend this place for weddings.
Ceremony, cocktail, and reception were well organized and supervised by our maitre-d Marlyn who did a great job to coordinate and make a memorable moment in our life.

My husband and I had our wedding at The English Manor on August 21,2015. I could not have asked for a better experience, food, people, place, etc! Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone raved about how beautiful the place was, how the food was AMAZING, how nice everyone was, and how much fun they had. Every single detail was absolutely perfect. Marlyn was great! She made sure every detail was planned and checked and checked again so that every single detail went to plan. She made sure my husband and I were taken care of and ALWAYS had a drink or food in our hand the entire night. She even packed us 2 meals and desserts for us for the day after the wedding. Every detail was absolutely thoughtful and perfect. THANK YOU to everyone at The English Manor for the MOST AMAZING DAY OF OUR LIVES!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the English Manor on 9/6/15. We knew from the moment that we saw the English Manor that it had to be the place we were married. In fact it was actually only the second venue we looked at before we decided to book our wedding date! The grounds are beautiful with gorgeous gardens and flowers throughout. We loved the outdoor deck and bridge for cocktail hour and were set on having an outdoor ceremony. The building itself is gorgeous and just our taste. The wedding went off perfectly- we could not have asked for a better day. Denise, our maitre'd was wonderful to work with and we cannot thank her enough for helping through the planning process and for answering all of our questions so quickly. We love the English Manor and have not stopped hearing from our guests how FABULOUS the food was. Cocktail hour was delicious and dinner was fantastic! Denise and Nancy did a wonderful job helping us throughout the wedding process. Always available to answer our questions and assist with all of needs. They did a phenomenal job making the whole process stress free and easy for us to plan and not have to worry about anything.

Our wedding was on Sunday, July 26, 2015. I cannot say enough about the staff at The English Manor. When I first arrived at my consultation, I was an hour early. I lived an hour away and accidentally gave myself too much time. Instead of being upset, or making us feel unwelcome or uncomfortable, the owner went around the grounds unlocking doors so that we could see everything. We met with Kristi, who skipped eating her lunch to meet with us. She was so sweet and explained everything. She even stayed and took video on our wedding day, and we consider her family now! Everyone was so amazing throughout the wedding planning process. Denise, our Maitre'd was a text or e-mail away and always got back to us promptly. I dropped everything off three days before the wedding and was nervous about how it would all come out. The day of my wedding I did not shed one tear, everyone could not believe how calm I was. That was until I walked into The English Manor and saw how close attention they paid to every detail. I was so overwhelmed I started crying right in the lobby! I could not have asked for a better day. Our outdoor ceremony was amazing, just check out their facebook page for some of the photos! You cannot go wrong with this venue! Our guests did not stop talking about the ceremony or the details at the wedding. Everyone had a great time!

My wife and I had our highest expectations EXCEEDED by Maitre D, Denise and the entire team including Nancy and Kristi. My wife and I looked at 4 other venues before visiting The English Manor... I guess we unknowingly saved the best for last! It was the beginning of January, cold, raining, no flowers in sight, but the overall feel of the venue was just so right, the ballroom, cocktail hour area, outdoor deck, and the gardens separated by a beautiful wooden bridge and a quaint steam. Whether we has an outdoor garden ceremony or a rained out indoor ceremony, we knew we would be so happy and right there, we knew that this was our venue! Pricing was very reasonable considering how much was provided. They offer a generous payment schedule and make first class accommodations for people with disabilities, dietary restrictions, or any other special needs. The tasting and ceremony finalization with Denise really put my stressed out wife at ease. Denise's professionalism and confidence is very inspiring and reassuring. We got the truest sense that the day would be perfect. We arrived the day of the ceremony, enjoyed lovely cheese, cracker, and fruit selections in our respective bride and groom suite, took in the sheer beauty of the gardens on a sunny, albeit hot, day during our first look, used the grounds for amazing photos, and had an amazing ceremony. From what we heard from our guests, the cocktail hour food was exceptional and the reception dinner was amazing (prime rib was divine). The entire staff treated us like gold from the minute we previewed the venue through the time we were saying our goodbyes.
Overall, a beautiful venue, excellent accommodations, and a staff that truly feels like family make The English Manor a place that I will always hold in the highest regard as they provided everything my wife and I needed and more for a day we will never forget.
