Where do I begin?! I could not have asked for a more flawless reception! The food was incredible. The hall was beautiful. They even surprised us a few extras. All of our guests received second servings of their main course, were able to take dessert and coffee to go, and even surprised us with a bride and groom carved jack-o-lantern. My husband and I never once had to go to the bar to get a drink. Someone with always with us every step of the way with a refill. My guests RAVED about how wonderful our wedding was! I highly recommend The English Manor to anyone.

The English Manor truly delivered us our dream wedding and will forever hold a special place in my heart. We were so lucky to have met with Kristi early on, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Every part of the process from the incredible tasting, to the relaxed rehearsal, helpful finalization appointment and dreamy big day- was just perfection! Thank you, thank you, thank you English Manor!

There isn’t enough food things I can say about The English Manor! The food was amazing the whole night - I got so many compliments on it from guests. The waiters and bartenders were awesome too! Having wine on the tables? GENIUS! It kept the bar line shorter and people loved it. Kristi was my MD and she was a literal godsend! She kept me calm, she kept the boys bin order, and she kept everything running smooth the whole night. Oh and she was the only one who could do my bustle! I loved having my wedding at EM! Highly recommend!

I fell in LOVE with the English Manor the first time I walked in and knew it was the venue for me and my now Husband. The staff was welcoming, accommodating, patient and beyond knowledgable.

During the wedding planning process, The English Manor was there every step of the way to help with planning our wedding. They were easy to contact and quick to respond. They gave such helpful suggestions that they knew would work perfectly for their venue and for us as a couple. They were open-minded in my request for a light saber walk way, an additional cake & they even made an adorable sign for our signature drink.

The grounds are beautiful with newly planted flowers, a gazebo and a waterfall. The cocktail hour felt like you were in a magical garden. The reception room was also just as beautiful. It sparkled. The sound system was superb. It centered around the dance floor so the guests at their tables could enjoy themselves with conversation.

THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Many of our guests raved about how delicious everything was. There was more then enough to go around & they even came for second and thirds at dinner! The mini ice cream cones were a hit.

Kristi, our Maitre'D was fabulous! She tailored to our ever need and continued to check on us throughout the night. She really made our wedding feel like ours! She also made the entire reception run smoothly. She was amazing and I can't thank her enough for making this special day less stressful & more enjoyable!

I would recommend the English Manor to anyone! Thank you to the staff at the English Manor & to Kristi for making our wedding the more memorable and beautiful night we could have hoped for!!

If I could I'd rate them 6 out of 5, they were absolutely wonderful. I always felt like a friend and Denise did an amazing job making sure our special day was above and beyond what we could imagine. All our guests still can't believe how beautiful the place was and how caring the staff was. I would absolutely recommend The English Manor to everybody.

We had our wedding at the English Manor on Aug 15, 2014. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were outside, reception with buffet were inside. From the start, Lisa and her staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They seem to truly enjoy their work, which made planning much easier and our wedding day even more fun! The grounds, the manor, the details, everything was absolutely stunning. Half of our guests were vegetarian, half committed carnivores, and some just plain picky. The food was amazing, the variety was unbelievable, and Lisa went to great lengths to add special touches, including non-alcoholic champagne for some and a special bottle of scotch for my father. There is not a single thing that either of us would change about that day and Lisa and her staff are a huge part of it. They don't make you feel like clients, they make you feel like family.

Got many compliments on the venue, couldn't have chosen a better place.

I can't say how much we adored the English Manor! Lisa (owner) and Denise (maitre d) were so responsive and available. They both gave me their cell phone numbers and I would always hear back from them within a few minutes. Even when I just intended to call about a simple thing and ended up venting about something else, they were so supportive and helped me remember to keep things in perspective and stay calm/happy. They were great about special requests (such as my groom wanting a cheeseburger for dinner!) The day of, I was so worried about someone else setting up all our decorations as I had a very specific vision. Denise saw how frantically I was running around and encouraged me to relax and let me do her thing. She blew my vision out of the water and arranged everything more beautifully than I could have imagined! At the site we used the bridal suite (which had tons of space), iron gazebo ceremony space, outdoor cocktail hour, and ballroom. Additionally, they are very accommodating to guests in need of wheelchair accessibility. Our guests can not stop talking about how beautiful the building/ grounds are and how much they enjoyed the food, especially the offering of seconds! A truly magical place to get married!!!

There are not enough words to truly describe how incredible The English Manor is as a venue. We knew we felt at home the first time toured. Down to the last detail, Marlyn was extremely attentive and helpful in all aspects of our day. She was extremely organized and made us feel confident in putting our day in her hands from our first meetings to walking down the aisle. They were also very understanding and accommodating of our needs for accessibility, and had a solution for every question or detail that came up. Their entire staff was lovely and so attentive, making sure that we were all having an amazing time and that we had everything we needed at all times. Having a “one wedding at a time” venue made the ceremony and reception so intimate and incredible. It goes without saying that the grounds of the EM are the most picturesque and gorgeous setting for such a romantic day, and the ballroom is absolutely incredible! Between that and the food, we have so many of our family and friends still raving to us over how amazing our wedding was. Everything came together perfectly, even getting to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside on an iffy weather day. The sun was shining and everything worked out wonderfully with their guidance!

Laura, Kelly and Lisa were so easy to work with. They listened carefully to everything that I wanted for my wedding and made my vision come true. They helped out with our ceremony which was off site at the beach and I could not have ask for both the ceremony and reception to be more perfect. They were always there to answer any of my questions. Everyone is still talking about how beautiful the ceremony and wedding were and how delicious the food was. We could not have chosen a more perfect venue! .

My new husband and I recently got married at The English Manor on July 2, 2009. Liz was in complete charge of our wedding from the start. She was reliable, dependable, and flexible. My wedding was more than I could have possibly dreamed of. Liz relaxed me in every way and made me feel like her top priority. She adjusted well to all of our requests and did everything possible to make my families' dreams come true. The wedding was intimate and beautiful. Both sides of the families commented on how tasteful the decor was and intimate the night was. The food was delicious and Liz made it important to satisfy everybody's request. I definitely recommend Liz and The English Manor to every future bride who wants a beautiful, intimate, relaxed, and fun wedding. Thank you so much!

The English Manor went above and beyond to make our day perfect! If you want a perfect stress free day, this is your venue! The food,atmosphere and staff were amazing! All my questions via entail were responded to quickly! Our maître d Joanne was amazing!!!! Slavana ( spelling on name) , my personal waitress was the sweetest ever! Can't thank you all enough!!

The English Manor was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception from the start! Lisa, the owner, worked closely with us to create a food package that suited our needs and everything came out exquisitely. Everyone commented about how wonderful the cocktail hour was, that there was so much food AND how good it tasted! Many of our guests mentioned how beautiful the ceremony in the gardens was and how classy the reception was. They also commented that there was food they have never seen at a wedding and that they thought the cocktail hour was the meal. They were pleasently surprised the rest of the day as dinner followed a salad and palid cleanser of sorbet. Lisa and Laura made sure we had everything we needed throughout our wedding day. They even added in some extra special surprises that were personal and extremly thoughtful. The gardens were beautiful. It was a wonderful experience and there is nothing I would have changed. My husband and I got married at The English Manor on June 9, 2018 and honestly had the best day of our lives. I don’t even know if I can fit everything I want to say about this venue in one review, but I’ll try! From the moment we walked in during our visits to venues, we immediately felt at ease and knew this would be the one. Everything about it was perfect….the bridge to the ceremony spot, the outdoor cocktail hour, the reception room, the service….honestly every single detail was PERFECT. Even when we had seen it in the dead of winter we could imagine how wonderful it would be in June and it was! The level of professionalism from the staff is out of this world; their attention to every single detail and making sure everything was perfect is a bride’s dream. Everyone I interacted with: Alex, Kristy, Marlyn-they all treated us like we were their most important guests. The entire evening was perfect and the food was INCREDIBLE!!!! We get compliments on how gorgeous and delicious everything was! I would highly recommend the English Manor and all of its amenities. We used the English Manor as our ceremony site, our reception site, and our photography site -- the grounds are just beautiful.

The value can't be beat (our guests thought that our cocktail hour was the main reception, if that's any indicator of how lavish their spreads are) and the customer service is phenomenal. They do one wedding at a time so you don't have to compete for attention and services. They don't nickel and dime you for extra services. For example, our groom's cake was a special request that they honored without charging extra, as well as special requests for certain liquors at the bar (which they will gladly run out and get more of should they need it mid-way through the reception!). The English Manor is highly personalized and very attentive to all your details. We had the best day ever with them!

We are so happy we had our wedding at The Engliah Manor. The food and staff were great. Everything was beautiful despite the rain. Jo Ann was great!

Everything was perfect, Laura , was so accommodating it was like her daughter was getting married. She treated us like family as was all the staff .
Besides that the place is just gorgeous . We looked at a dozen places before we found the Manor it was worth the search Perfect!!!!!

We were greeted at the door by our personal host who took exceptional care of us the entire evening. The staff was beyond professional. They were extremely polite to our guests. Two of the servers spoke fluent Italian which was a HUGE benefit since we had several dozen couples from Italy at the wedding. Our guests, who all know excellent food, commented all night how wonderful it tasted and how generous the portions were. The dessert room was impressive as guests entered a separate room to find an array of delicious sweets. Overall we found the English Manor to be an extremely elegant, classy, an personal venue. We decorated the fire place den with pictures of both of our family's so guests could view them during the cocktail hour. The benefit of having only one wedding at a time also is a plus as the staff pays 100% of their attention to YOUR wedding. You never bump into or see anyone else from another function. You truly feel you are in your own mini Colonial Castle. If we had to do it all over again we would have it at the English Manor once again, it was a perfect evening. We highly recommend The English Manor.

We recently had our ceremony and reception at the English Manor and it was truly an amazing day! Everything was perfect! The English Manor was great to work with from beginning to end. The ceremony and reception was beautiful and the food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the grounds and the food. Jo Ann was our Maitre D' and she was great! She really helped to make our planning process with the English Manor enjoyable and stress free! My husband and I got married at The English Manor back in 2013. We signed our contract 2.5 years before the big day and all of the staff were consistently pleasant and helpful since day one. Our wedding day was amazing (despite the rain and having to have our ceremony/cocktail hour inside). We still have people telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. We came back to visit in 2014 on our one year anniversary and everyone was still as sweet as ever. Definitely a place where the staff genuinely care about their clientele.

We looked at a few places prior to making our way to The English Manor, but I have to tell you when I walked in I knew right away this was the place, I wanted our wedding reception to take place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. The staff was so helpful and nice. Lisa was our maître d' and very wonderful to work with, she helped make planning very easy. Anytime, I called throughout my planning anyone I spoke with was very helpful and never made me feel like a bother. I had about 165 guests and I have to say, everyone just raved about our wedding and how wonderful it was. The outside cocktail hour we were blessed to have was absolutely perfect!!! There was so much food and everyone loved it. I love The English Manor and if I were able to do it all over again, I wouldn't do anything different! I would recommend this place to any bride looking for the Perfect place to have their wedding.

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding! Everything from start to finish was amazingly and professionally done! All our guests were blown away by the quality and amount of food there was to choose from! They raved about cocktail hour and loved that at dinner they had they were offered seconds, allowing them to try the second entree option that they did not select. They were also extremely impressed by the quality of service and professionalism. The grounds construction that The English Manor was having done was finished 3 days before our wedding (as promised by Lisa who was a sweetheart and did everything in her power to put me at ease when I didn't think the renovations to the beautiful grounds would be done in time for our wedding- sorry Lisa for the annoyances and pestering) and the upgrades looked incredible! Everything ran like a well oiled machine, and our wedding day was truly impeccable. You can tell that the staff at The English Manor really cares about and loves what they do and put their heart into making every bride and groom's wedding day a vision of elegance and perfection. Debbie especially was an absolute joy to work with and has found the perfect job to highlight her incredible assets. She put me at complete ease from the moment I met her 5 weeks before our big day until we walked out the door after our wedding as husband and wife. She is easy going, funny, and caring and is there to help with anything you need done! She kept everything running smoothly and fixed any issues before I even had the opportunity to notice them. She even cleaned my dress twice because I got pollen, grass, and dirt all over my train! She is just an incredible maitre d and is that little something extra that sets The English Manor apart from other wedding venues. We can only hope that one day friends of ours choose The English Manor as their wedding venue so we can go as guests and enjoy all they offer!

Our wedding was October 2022 and we could not be happier with our choice of venue. Over the last two weeks, we keep hearing comments from all of our guests about how incredible everything was: the food, the space, the gardens, the staff, everything. From the moment we walked into The English Manor two years ago, we were so impressed by the aesthetic beauty of the grounds, the professionalism of the staff, and the spectacular wedding packages. Their website is wonderfully clear and perfectly transparent, so we want to focus on some aspects of important to us here that could not be as easily found on those pages. Lisa (the owner) actually gave us our tour originally and we fell in love with her spunk and clear passion for her business. One particularly impressive distinction that she showed us was the state-of-the-art sound system that allowed music to be blasting on the dance floor while not overwhelming the entire space and therefore allowing guests to be talking at the tables without shouting (our guests loved this). Maddie in the office was around to happily answer any questions we had over the two-year process promptly and efficiently and worked with us to ensure that all of our needs were addressed. Wedding planning during an ever-changing pandemic was less than ideal and Maddie worked with us to keep us as calm as possible each step of the way. Along with Maddie, Marlyn (our fabulous maitre’d) worked with us to accommodate some specific dietary needs for some of our VIP guests to ensure everyone not only had food to eat but options at that throughout the night. While the food was terrific, we are beyond impressed by The English Manor’s policy of donating all leftover food to a local shelter at the end of the wedding. The passion for giving back to the community left a very important impression on us. One last note of appreciation is needed here on The English Manor’s inclusive nature. As a gay couple, we wanted to make sure that our wedding left us both feeling empowered and celebrated at all moments. Lisa, Maddie, Marlyn, and the rest of the staff actively did this and then some. Our cocktail hour even featured a pumpkin with two grooms carved into it! Everything was perfect and we are so beyond impressed by everything here and grateful for the people who made it happen.
