Impeccable Vibes + Amazing Team!
I had such an amazing experience at The Dress Theory. Pam helped me find my absolute dream wedding dress (Rime Arodaky) and my veil (Sara Gabriel). I remember arriving at The Dress Theory a bit discouraged from my dress shopping experience at a different store earlier that day. But as soon as I walked into The Dress Theory my mood completely changed. The vibes of the store are impeccable -- from the music to the decor -- and the dress inventory is perfection. The team truly listens, is so kind and thoughtful, and really made me and my group feel so special. From picking out the dress to picking it up, The Dress Theory was the best every step of the way!! I will forever be so obsessed and happy with my wedding dress. -

I went to 4 different bridal salons & I cannot give a higher recommendation for this salon, especially my bridal consultant Val.
I was beyond impressed by the diversity their gowns, sizes & prices; I feel like they really did have something for every bride, especially those that aren’t a traditional “sample size”.
The entire experience from start to finish felt personal & intimate. Val consistently checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t getting overwhelmed with everything. She honed in on the vision I had for myself while also allowing for flexibility should something be outside of my style but she thought I might like. My mothers & maid of honor were with me so to ease into the appointment I had them each pick a dress they wanted me to try on. I told them to ignore my style, as long as it was in the budget, would fit & they thought I would like it, then I would try it on. This was a great, low-expectation way to ease into the appointment.
As someone in eating disorder recovery, having a bridal consultant & salon that made me feel so comfortable was such a relief. I said yes to my dress here & just had my wedding. I’m still so in love with my dress & my experience with The Dress Theory over a year later! -

Found my dress in less than an hour!
The ladies at Seattle Dress Theory are no joke. The kindest, most professional women I have worked with. It was so easy to set up an appointment with a stylist, who got to know my style before the actual date. I pulled styles I was drawn to and they helped me stay within my budget. Within that first appointment I found the dress! The stylist helped me order the perfect size and talked options for bustling and all other details. They gave me realistic expectations of how long my dress would take to make and it was even a bit early. Setting up a fitting was also extremely easy, they reached out to me with some times and dates once my dress came in. Because I was traveling a lot at the time they were super accommodating with my request to get alterations figured out at the time of that first fitting. I picked me dress up about a few weeks before my wedding and it fit perfectly! No second alterations needed. So, so happy with my experience, the stylists expertise, and the selection of dresses - I wanted them all!! -

There were so many beautiful dresses to choose from, but I really found a work of art in this dress from Rue De Seine. The gals over at the Dress Theory made this process fun and simple and I was so happy with how I looked the day of my big day! -

Chelsea Sent on 09/10/2018I knew I wanted a Galia Lahav gown for my wedding, so I went to The Dress Theory in Seattle for the designer's trunk show. My experience was so much fun and everyone in the salon was so helpful, enthusiastic, supportive, and made great suggestions. Since the Loretta gown I wanted wasn't available off the rack, The Dress Theory handled all communications with the overseas designer and helped me order the dress and cape of my dreams. Without fail, every interaction was timely, professional, and supportive. Since they did such an amazing job in helping me with my gown, I decided to go with the salon for my alterations as well, and am so glad I did. They completed the alterations in a timely manner for a reasonable price of $638, and even altered my cape (removing the turtleneck collar and adding a hook/eye clasp) for no charge. I couldn't have dreamed up a better experience with a bridal salon and would recommend The Dress Theory to anyone shopping for the gown of their dreams in the Seattle area. -

Eilly Sent on 12/28/2017When I first started thinking about dresses I knew I wanted to go to The Dress Theory (San Diego location). I had seen it on Instagram because a blogger I follow had gotten her dress there and it looked so cute! I didn't know it at the time, but it would end up being the only bridal salon I went to. It was the first place I went to look at dresses and I knew from the moment I went there that I had to be a Dress Theory bride! Shannon made me feel SO comfortable from the moment I stepped foot in the store. She was very honest about styles that worked for me and styles that didn't. She encouraged me to try on styles I hadn't considered to make sure I would be totally happy with my decision. I actually found my dress (Jenny Packham) that first day, but went back another time with my Mom and bridal party to make sure it was the one. Shannon is SO sweet and I was so happy to have her be a part of my special day. Finding a dress can be stressful, but she made the experience so much fun. I also got my rehearsal dinner dress (Sarah Seven) there with Shannon as well. I couldn't have been happier with both purchases. I received so many compliments on both dresses!
Not only was Shannon such a pleasure to work with (and made me laugh so much!) but the entire staff is lovely. Also, Karen, their on site seamstress, is incredible at what she does. She altered both my wedding dress and rehearsal dinner dress to fit my body perfectly. Everyone there is so professional and so sweet. I honestly looked forward to going to the shop so much. I lived in LA where I am surrounded by bridal salons but chose The Dress Theory down in San Diego because they are that amazing. That is definitely a testament to the fact that I would highly recommend them. Also, I have to mention how CUTE the shop is-so warm and welcoming. I can't thank them enough for everything. They are the absolute best! -

Sarah Sent on 04/02/2014I went shopping for my dress in October and they were my last appointment of the day. I kind of knew the style of dress that I wanted and the style of dresses here definitely fit the bill. They carry some well-known designers as well as some smaller designers which I appreciated. I thought I would end up going with a Nicole Miller dress but the consultant was very good at picking out some dresses within my budget that fit my style. I would definitely recommend this place to any Seattle bride that is looking for a unique dress that won't be found at any of the major bridal stores. The consultants here are very helpful and very professional, I would recommend this place to any bride-to-be.
