We hired the Dolce Ensemble to play for our ceremony and they were amazing. Susan was so easy to work with and so helpful. She was super accessible via email and responded promptly to all our inquiries. The music was beautiful, played to perfection, and truly made our ceremony that much more special.

Dolce Ensemble did such an amazing job at our wedding ceremony.

First, the quality of music was beautiful . It was clear that all of the musicians were professional and very- well seasoned; every song was flawlessly performed and in-tune. We had a string trio for our ceremony and they were still loud enough for all the guests to hear.

Dolce Ensemble was also so versatile, with a wide-variety of music to choose from and play. From Pachelbel Canon for my Bridal Processional to Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ for the Recessional they played every song perfectly!

Lastly, Susan is just a joy to work with! Throughout the process, she took time to talk with us and provide feedback on music. She even reached out to our officiant to coordinate music and the ceremony service.

    Thank you Dolce Ensemble!

Awesome, Responsive, So easy to work with. They really did a great job at my ceremony and cocktail hour. I couldn't have been happier to walk into my ceremony to Led Zeppelin on strings.

The Dolce Ensemble provided the most beautiful music for my wedding. From my walk down the aisle through the cocktail hour, they played the music that we requested, from classical, pop and oldies, we were thrilled and my guests were entertained. Thank you!!

We are very pleased that we chose the Dolce Ensemble to provide music for our ceremony.

Working with the Dolce Ensemble was more affordable than hiring an ensemble through our DJ service and allowed us to have direct communication with the musicians (Susan Leon and her team). I was concerned that having a separate vendor just for ceremony music would create too much of a hassle, but that was not the case -- Susan is very easy to work with.

The Dolce Ensemble executed wonderful arrangements and played beautifully.

We highly recommend the Dolce Ensemble to anyone who is looking for string musicians for their event.

When it really counted they fell just a bit short

Opting for a strong ensemble for a wedding is a bit risky as you are relying on musicians to read the room and execute music in an extraordinary manner (compared to a DJ or even a singer/guitar player). The Dolce Ensemble did well for the most part, but when it really counted, they fell short. On our recessional song, they must not have been paying attention and our timing with walking out resulted in an awkward moment right in front of the altar. Ultimately we ended up walking out a few seconds later after they scrambled to start our recessional song. They also had to move locations which was unexpected at the last minute which resulted in a 30 minute break and having cocktail hour only be set up for 60 minutes, we didn’t really get our money’s worth.
