Joe contributed so much more to our wedding than just the typical DJ/MC services. He helped with timelines, organization, making sure we had drinks, and so many other things. I didn't worry for one second about the music or announcements. We had a very smooth wedding day and Joe was a big part of that. In fact, I went over and told him to stop playing my requested songs because everytime he played on it killed the dance floor. Book Joe for your next wedding or event and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Joe! -

If you’re having your wedding at Estate on the Halifax, Joe is absolutely the best DJ you could hire. He knows the venue inside and out, and his expertise truly helped us tremendously in building a smooth, well-flowing wedding timeline. From start to finish, the dance floor was alive and there wasn’t a single dull moment! Joe has an incredible ability to read the crowd’s energy and keep the vibe going strong all night.
He’s not only amazing with music, but also an excellent emcee who kept our reception program engaging and seamless. Throughout the wedding planning process, he was highly responsive, professional, and so easy to communicate with. Thank you so much, Joe, for bringing so much joy, energy, and heart to our special day. You were such an important part of making it unforgettable!

If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch, then use Joe!!! He is on the ball and knows how to read a crowd. He even knows how to coordinate should there not be a coordinator. He is the man and so easy to work with and so personable. Joe made our ceremony special with the perfect selections of instrumental music, and for the reception…. My family can be uptight, so we questioned whether anyone would be dancing at our wedding, and guess what? Joe had everyone dancing right from the start! Do yourself a favor and trust this man to make your occasion a hit… because he most certainly will!!! -

Best DJ ever!
DJ Joe knows how to have a party with amazing music! We had the best time dancing all night and our guests could not get off the dance floor. DJ Joe definitely listened to what kind of music we wanted and blew our wedding out of the water. I would higher DJ Joe again and again. Such a great and caring guy. We had such a blast and still here it from our guests a year later how amazing our DJ was. You definitely will not be going wrong with choosing him! -

Joe, is amazing! He made me feel comfortable since day one. He listens, he's flexible, and he made sure to accommodate all of our family's needs. He truly cares. He is timely, he knows the venue (The Estate on the Halifax) like the back of his hand, he was so beyond helpful, and he got our small wedding of 40 people up and dancing throughout the reception. He is THE BEST! -

DJ Joe was the first vendor we hired becsuse he was highly suggested to us by someone that worked at our wedding venue. I am so glad we were able to reserve his services, as I believe his schedule gets filled up quickly. DJ Joe was then man. He met with us prior to the wedding, answered any question, and was incredible the day of. He worked well with all of the other vendors, and gave us greet guidance. He was confident, fun, and didn't do the corny stuff where you spin your towel around your head (unless you want him to) he had everyone dancing and did a great job with sound during our ceremony. Highly recommend him! -

Our wedding reception was amazing and a huge part of the that was because of DJ Joe!
He was professional, organized and knew how to keep the party going. He helped out with organizing the timeline and keeping things flowing. From the beginning I was confident with him, but he exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend DJ Joe for any event! -

We hired Joe to be our wedding in October 2020. I am SO happy chose him. He was always very responsive via phone and email before our day and helped to guide me in picking out song choices. On our wedding day, we was so organized and did a phenomenal job a picking music that kept people out on the dance floor. I had multiple wedding guests come to me and applaud his service. I would highly recommend Joe for any event you are planning! -

Joe is a great MC. If you aren't convinced you need a DJ, I would say talk to Joe and see what he has to offer. He kept the party going, and organized the order of events. His services were so much more than music. -

Joe is the best wedding DJ you could ask for! He was very responsive and kind. He took pictures throughout our ceremony that if it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have those pictures otherwise! He kept us on schedule throughout the night and had everyone on the dance floor! Highly recommend! Thank you Joe for making our wedding reception one to remember! -

He made planning the songs very easy and even put up with us when we changed some of the songs very close to the wedding. He was also able to accommodate some cultural music we wanted played, which meant a lot to my husband's family. Joe arrived early and had everything set up without even needing to ask us questions. It was so smooth and easy working with him. What was even better was his personality. He was so kind and helpful throughout the entire night. He let us know when big events should occur and made sure we had everything we needed. He was more helpful at the reception then our planner. The dance floor was hoping the entire night. We've had several guests tell us after the wedding what a great DJ he was. I only wish I got to dance more :) If you decide to go with Joe, you will not be disappointed!!! -

He was kind, compassionate and when the decisions were being made as to have our ceremony outside. Once the ceremony started he was informative and FUN FUN FUN!!! Kept the party going. Worth EVERY penny!!!

He walked us through the outline for the entire night so we knew exactly how the time would flow. The day of he made sure everyone knew where to be and when, what they needed to do, and how they needed to do it.
He kept the night moving perfectly. When there was a lull in dancing, he got people up and moving. He kept us both up to date the entire night on how everything was going and what was next. He is easily the BEST wedding DJ I have ever seen. My new sister-in-law will be using him for her wedding now also, he made our reception! -
Allisha Sent on 12/04/2017Eddie was my DJ for my wedding in Daytona Beach, FL. He was the best DJ for a wedding that I've ever been to. He kept the party going and even got out on the dance floor to show how to do the dances. He made my wedding the best I could have hoped for!
I'm also from Illinois so I had to put my trust into him for a destination wedding. He did such a great job calming my nerves even through all of the crazy hurricane business happening.
I would HIGHLY recommend Eddie from The DJ Man. -

He was constantly communicating with me throughout my wedding night (which is the type of bride I was) I had to know the plan for everything. He kept the dance floor packed all night long & my guests didn’t stop saying how amazing he was. This is the best DJ in the area hands down!

We quickly learned in our wedding planning process that the DJ, far from just providing music and announcements, sets the pace, mood, and energy of the crowd and the night. In all of our interactions, Joe was warm, humorous, and a consummate entertainer. He went out of his way throughout the night assist us and adapted even as our timeline reshuffled. Even before the day, he ensured we thought of every detail (and accommodated our diverse song request list). We, and our guests, can attest to his ability to liven up the crowd, and make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Thanks, Joe!

Tina Sent on 12/16/2012There is only 1 word to describe DJ Joe....PHENOMENAL. We booked Joe over year before our wedding because we knew we wanted to have the best. From the start, DJ Joe helped us plan our perfect ceremony and reception music. He was open to our ideas and vision, even though they were not conventional. He worked really well with our other venders, keeping everyone on time, yes, even the Bride :). Joe kept the music going all night long and the dance floor packed! He even joined us on the dance floor for a bit. DJ Man Joe also provided the up lighting for our reception and it made the room "pop" and come to life. We cannot thank Joe enough for his time and talents. He truly is the best and we could not have asked for anything else for our special day. -

He kept the music upbeat and fun. The music Joe played had the older and younger crowd mixing together and having a blast! I wanted a party and I got a party! Joe also kept the wedding on time and organized! I was worried because I didn’t use a planner and took the wedding on myself, but Joe told me to trust him and that a good DJ is your planner on your wedding day. He was right! My day was perfect! He provided us a list of questions to answer that helped the planning phase since we couldn't meet face to face. Our ceremony was outdoors along the water and required 300+feet of extension cords but he pulled it off with two large speakers and a microphone, it was perfect. During the reception he had the crowd on the dance floor the entire night and provided the perfect variety for our guests. He provided blue "uplighting" to help decorate the venue which added a nice touch. His introductions and announcements were upbeat and fun yet very professional. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! -

I'll start with the positives. Joe was responsive in communicating with us before the wedding, and his rate was reasonable and competitive in Orlando. Joe also took the time to gather our song preferences prior to the wedding and played everything we wanted. There are two things I wish had gone differently...one small, one very big.
First, we are not a religious family and specifically noted on the form that my Dad's greeting before dinner was not a blessing but rather a welcome and thank you. This important detail was missed and made it awkward when it was introduced as a prayer. Not all families are religious and this should have been tailored to our wedding.
Second, towards the end of the evening, Joe came up to us saying he felt things were slowing down and we could probably take the group photo and start winding things down on the dance floor. At this point, we have zero sense of what time it is, and are just going with the flow, so it seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, Joe's interpretation of winding things down on the dance floor was to make the executive decision to tell our wedding planner and vendors that we wanted to end the entire wedding early, shut down the bar, and ask all of our guests to leave 45 minutes before the scheduled end of the wedding, which was absolutely NOT the case. Had that been explained clearly, we would have obviously said no. Once we realized what was going on, we immediately talked to Joe about it, but it was unfortunately too late. He was apologetic and gave us a partial refund.
While writing this review, we went back and read some previous reviews. As it turns out, this appears to be a pattern with Joe- at least one other bride left a review recounting a nearly identical experience, with Joe shutting her entire wedding down an hour early. This is unfortunate and a DJ should never be the one making decisions like this.
Based on our wedding experience, we do not recommend Joe, and I (the bride) feel personally taken advantage of.
