Beautiful wedding and reception

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at The Devyn this past Saturday. I had never been inside and was amazed at how beautiful the ballroom was. The food served by their in house catering company was delicious and the open bar had a wide variety of drinks to choose from. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I will definitely keep this place in mind for any events I have in the future.

They are truly amazing!!!! They went above and beyond with the decorating and the open bar!!! Very easy to work with and did everything I wanted and more!!! They are truly the best!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Devyn. We also used All Event rental for all our rental items and Bee Ridge Florist for our floral arrangements. We couldn't have had a MORE perfect wedding day due to Carl Wise and all of his staff at The Devyn, All Event Rental and Bee Ridge Florist (Special shout outs go to Michelle and Teala!!!!). Our day was the best day of our lives thus far and that is largely in part to the Devyn and corresponding companies', guidance, help, understanding and care!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!!!

Thank you to the team at The Devyn! You all were amazing to work with. I would choose you all over and over again if I have to plan an event again. Carl worked very closely with me and he along with is team took my ideas and made my wedding more than I expected. I had the Carlisle room at The Devyn. It was the perfect room and setting for our theme. Thank you again!!

We had our company Christmas party in the Alexandria Ballroom and everything was fantastic. Everyone had a great time. I highly would recommend the Devyn and All Event Rentals. Thank you to Carl and his,staff for a great evening.

My husband and I recently got married at The Devyn. We held the ceremony in the outside Courtyard and the reception in the Alexandra Ballroom. Everything was impeccably beautiful and elegant!! Both spaces give a feeling of grandeur and yet intimacy. It was exactly what we wanted!!

Jennifer at The Devyn was a HUGE help to me! She came through for me to make sure I had flowers and all the beautiful decorations for my Wedding day! Even though some of the details were last minute because my wedding planner was slacking, Jennifer made sure that I had everything I needed to make my wedding a dream come true! She is awesome and I wish I had know about her being a wedding planner when I started my planning process, I would have most definitely chosen her to plan my whole day completely! The Devyn was decorated so beautifully for me and it was the most amazing night of my life! I chose the Alexandra ballroom and it was the best choice I ever made for a venue! I recommend them and Jennifer's services for all the brides to be!

Jennifer Mateo assisted us in mounting a complex event involving a film screening for 500 people followed by a luncheon for 400 people. She was patient, helpful, and creative. We were thrilled with the outcome, as was all of our guests.

I travel all over the world with my company RxLiquidChef.com and The Devyn is one of my absolute favorites! We did a show "Cocktail Theatre" there and with Jennifer's help (she runs the place) raised a great deal of money for a wonderful cause!

I love this venue and all the people who made our night just amazing!!!!!

The Devyn is an absolutely spectacular venue! Its the perfect place to have a wedding and rehearsal dinner. The venue is stunningly beautiful and the staff is amazing, They go above and beyond in every way. I would highly recommend the Devyn!

My daughter was married on April 5th and I couldn't have been more pleased with All Event Renta and Design, Bearidge Florist they made the day a dream come true. Jennifer Matteo, was our event coordinator she was amazing to work with and took special care with all the details. She went above and beyond and I would highly recommend if you are planning a wedding to employ them! They will make the difference. They take all the stress of the day away from you!! A big thanks to Jennifer and the crew at All Event Rental and Design, Bearidge Florist.

Carl Wise and his entire team went above and beyond to help make our special day nothing short of amazing. From coordinating an after hours meeting time due to my work schedule from staying late for day before rehearsal because myself and my entire wedding party got stuck in traffic due to an accident on the Skyway to my day of planner and bartenders. I would like to say that all staff were extremely helpful, understanding and professional. And of course the venue looked absolutely magical. I would recommend the Devyn and Bee Ridge Florists to anyone I know and those who I don't as well. Thank you again!

Jennifer is an absolute blessing to work with. She made sure everything was perfect for our big day, and even in the face of the hired bartender calling in sick, she quickly stepped in and personally bartended our wedding for us! Without any obligation to, she also helped orchestrate my rehearsal, and even passed me my bouquet and fluffed my dress and veil as I got ready to walk down the aisle. From start to finish, I had nothing but a positive experience with the staff and venue itself. The venue is beautiful and the coordination with Bee Ridge Florist and All Event Rentals is extremely helpful in getting many of your wedding needs in one location.

The devyn was the perfect location for our wedding. We booked it before the construction was complete and they did not let us down. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. They are easily available and very prompt with getting any issues resolved. I would definitely recommend for any events.

Staff was responsive to day of event changes. Room was clean and ready for committee to work. Like the ala carte services. Good catering vendor choices. Loads of parking (no other event was scheduled). Plenty of bathrooms.

Stunningly beautiful reception hall. Big enough for 300 which is not easy to find. A little on the expensive side but well worth it.

The Devyn is a wonderful venue in itself. However,Jennifer Matteo an event planner for the Devyn/sarasota all event rental, is probably the worst person I've ever met. She goes back on her word and is extremely inflexible and difficult to work with. She consistently has a fake nice or bad attitude. Even Mortons that owns the kitchen at the Devyn went the extra mile for us on our wedding day. Jennifer didn't want us to keep the left over alcohol that we had prepurchased from them at a very overpriced cost. I had to go behind the bar in my wedding gown that night to start boxing it up myself. I would recommend the Devyn as a venue, but not Jennifer. It is a shame the two are associated.
