We had the absolute pleasure of having Julie as our photographer for both our wedding and engagement photos, and she did an amazing job! Her 'light and airy' style brought such a beautiful, ethereal quality to every shot, and we feel so lucky to have these photos to remember our special day. From the start, Julie was a dream to work with. Our phone calls were always exciting, and she was so clear, organized, and incredibly helpful in creating our wedding day timeline, making everything go smoothly. She recently sent us a highlight gallery just a few days after the wedding, and we were blown away—it brought us so much joy to relive those moments through her lens. Julie also made our engagement photoshoot such a fun experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and professional photographer! -

After much research on who to choose for my photographer, I ended up choosing Julie. Her instagram presence, artistic style, and photo angles were what initially drawn me to her. I was pleasantly surprised at learning about her reasonable pricing too. Before the photoshoot, Sean and I worried that the photos won't we able to show our chemistry since we were too shy to pose in public. On photoshoot day, Julie and immediately made us feel comfortable making faces and poses in public. We enjoyed our session together and it was very easy to talk to Julie about what we wanted out of the shoot. The photos came out exactly as we asked for because Julie was flexible, open-minded, personable, and talented at what she does. Thank you! I'm excited to get the rest of the photos! -

We met Julie at Sarah's wedding and was amazed by her professionalism and amazing photography skills. We only had 3-4 months to plan our wedding from start to finish. We were afraid that it was too short of a notice and had to compromise, but Julie was there to help us every step of the way. She helped choose the perfect sceneries and suggested the perfect poses. She captured moments where we were naturally happy. She made this process enjoyable and less stressful. -

Julie is AMAZING!!
We did an engagement session on Nantucket and cannot stop looking at the photos!
We had never taken professional photos, so we thought we might’ve been awkward or not know what to do. No worries here! Julie had us laughing and smiling the whole entire session and told us exactly how to position and the rest just flowed!
Julie had such a beautiful vision- from using a fun mini coop convertible , lighthouse, beach, using floral cottages as a backdrop, and even utilizing moving bicyclers and cars to create fun motion photos.
My fiancé afterwards said “I didn’t expect to have to much fun doing a photoshoot! I’d do another!” That’s how laid back and fun Julie made it. She sent us SO many sneak peaks and we are swooning over them. Friends and family are in awe of her work! Book the Dearest Still, you will not regret it! -

Captured all of the moments
It is hard to put into words how Julie impacted our wedding day. We met Julie when she was photographing another wedding. Julie was out on the dance floor, laughing with our friends, and when we saw her work product, we knew we wanted to work with her. Thankfully she was available for our date!! Julie brings a lot of personality to her work both in person and in the pictures. She considers the vision of the couple and is aware of trends that can add a little pop of style as well. Julie is very organized, which helped relieve my husband during the wedding planning process We engaged Julie to stay on for an extra hour until the end of the wedding, and we are so thankful we did -- having her in the last hour to capture the end of the night was something we do not regret. Julie has a great network of people and gave us a referral for our videographer. Her 2nd photographer at our wedding was very personable and fit right in with the vibe of the wedding party and our families. Julie also fit right in with all of us and we plan to stay in touch with her and reach out when we are ready to start a family :) We highly recommend Julie to be your wedding photographer!!! -

Wedding day
Julie is an absolutely amazing photographer who made our wedding day soo special. She had a great way of making the entire wedding party and guests laugh and have a good time to get the perfect picture ! She went above and beyond following up to the wedding and during the wedding to caption every moment. Julie is a skilled and passionate photographer. We were fortunate to have found her through Instagram. She beautifully captured our engagement and wedding, and despite our initial awkwardness in front of the camera, Julie skillfully guided us through the process and made it enjoyable. City Hall Elopement
Julie photographed our Boston City Hall elopement in December 2023. We were a bit nervous because we’d both never had pictures taken professionally but we had a great time because she made us feel comfortable and that let us relax and enjoy the excitement of the day. We recently got our pictures back and we’re so happy with the results, especially the more candid shots around the city. We highly recommend Julie to others looking for a photographer who is easy going and professional at the same time! -

Julie was so amazing to work with!! From our first meeting over facetime, she was so easy to talk to and I connected with her instantly. She really listened to our priorities and our timeline and helped to customize her wedding packages to fit our plan for the day. She really helped us with the details of the timeline for the day. I first thought that we would be able to get the family photos done before the wedding since we didn't want to miss too much of the cocktail hour, but Julie knew that there wouldn't be enough time. Her and her second shooter worked so efficiently to get our family photos done quickly directly after the ceremony so we wouldn't miss too much time with our guests. She did a fantastic job of nicely directing family members to make sure that we captured every photo we wanted. She also did an amazing job of making us comfortable in front of the camera. I was extremely stressed in the days leading up to the wedding based on the looming, rainy weather forecast, but Julie remained so positive. She really helped to calm my nerves. On the wedding day, the rain even helped to capture some breath taking photos of us under a clear umbrella. While I was late to the venue on our wedding day, Julie was there early to get a feel for the location (since she hadn't shot there before) and to capture all of the details. She sent us so many sneak peak photos so quickly and they really captured our special day! The full gallery was ready about 2 months later and is organized so well. I can't stop looking through all of them - I can't even begin to pick favorites. They really bring us right back to that day. Her candid photos were beautiful - I can't get enough of them! I love seeing the joy and laughter on all our guests faces throughout the day. Because of her, I didn't regret not having a videographer. We didn't end up doing an engagement session due to weather ruining our original plan, but we can't wait to work with Julie in the future for some anniversary photos in the coming years! Thank you for all of these memories Julie! -

Julie of the Dearest Still is ABSOLUTLEY SECOND TO NONE. My former fiancé (now husband) and I planned an entire wedding weekend: Thursday night meeting of the families, Friday afternoon and evening wedding ceremony/party, Saturday evening expanded celebration, and Sunday morning brunch. And, despite this dizzying array of ceremony, food, fun, and partying--Julie was able to capture IT ALL. She encapsulated the most minute details, from those that would otherwise be long forgotten and perhaps would never have been noticed, to the perfect moments of commitment and celebration. Her photographs are more than pictures--they are pieces of art of which we are in awe. The moments of the best days of our lives are now enhanced and forever etched in our collective memories. Her professional approach not only included her ability to choose the perfect "portraits" of our days, but she did so seamlessly---Julie was part of the background, and certainly was NEVER obtrusive or "in the way". She is polite, accommodating, respectful and TALENTED. For those couples who decide not to choose Julie and the Dearest Still, they will be depriving themselves of the opportunity of perfectly capturing the memories of, hopefully, their perfect day(s). Julie have been my photographer for every single important event( wedding , maternity shoot, family photos) throughout the years that it is safe to say she’s our go-to photographer for life! She is an expert in her field, creative and fun; anyone who get a chance to hire/work with her will feel the same way! She will go above ad beyond to get good photos and she is extremely hardworking that her turnaround time is usually 2 weeks or sooner! So, we just received the most incredible shots of our wedding day. We highly recommend Julie as your photographer and here’s why. We planed a very very last minute wedding and we were so lucky she was available on our wedding day. (You will notice how busy this girl is when you check her instagram) when I messaged her she was on a family vacation but took the time (since we were literally 3 weeks from the wedding) to let us know she can do it (which helped so much because I could stop searching, thank God!) and was just super honest about the pricing and actually helped customize based on our needs for the night. Secondly, my family’s Korean and yes, they all speak English but just the fact that she could communicate to both families in Korean and English helped 10000%. Julie does her homework, prepares for your day in advance, shows up early and is ready to GO! For a petite lady, man she’s got some energy! We loved her. Honestly the pictures look better than the wedding. Truly amazing!! My husband and I, our family and friends are so happy and blown away by the quality of photographs. **they all kind of look like screen shots from About Time I love them** Very natural, and of course the occasional tacky but fun pictures! We are already making plans to schedule sessions with Julie. Thank you -

Absolutely Amazing!
Julie was BEYIND AMAZING! She relieved all my nerves from our first walkthrough at the venue. She has an amazing eye to use the natural lightening to get the most amazing pictures. She is able to capture the moments with the feelings not just take a pretty picture.
Julie helped to make a detailed timeline for my wedding day since I was not hiring a coordinator. She was always professional but never stuffy. She was personable with everyone in the family and wedding.
The photo gallery and sneak peek photos were UNBELIEVABLE! There are so many amazing photos it’s hard to choose my favorite! The fact that there were kids in my wedding and she was able to capture pictures of everyone looking and smiling is a skill that not many have. Julie made everything comfortable, flow nicely and fun.
I would hire Julie for any and all photography needs going forward. I can’t say it enough, she was beyond fantastic! -

Julie is simply amazing and the best to work with. We had our initial prep. call and her enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge are impressive - we knew right after the call that she is our wedding photographer.
From planning to prep. and the actual wedding day - she has been very detail attentive, accommodates our needs, shows up earlier for all events, and literally lit up the room the moment she enters. It almost feels like she was part of my wedding planning crew and party and we are so thankful for everything she did for our wedding.
She also did our engagement photoshoot and we can't be happier with the final photos.
Many of our friends and guests were also impressed by her pleasant personality and energy. Julie was my wedding photographer, and I cannot say enough about how phenomenal Julie was throughout the entire planning process and the day of the wedding. She responded to emails quickly, was very flexible with her schedule, and was helpful with small details that I didn't even think about. Arriving on time, Julie was the friendliest, sweetest, and warmest, professional photographer I could ever imagine. I felt very comfortable, seamless, stress-free, and enjoyable throughout the process because she knew what she was doing. She took care of everything, and I'm really thankful for that because everything went smoothly and flawlessly.
