  Look no further - The Dan Rafferty Band are a MUST when planning your wedding. There is not another band that will deliver the diversity and quality entertainment and professionalism such as this team; they are hands down simply fantastic. I am a fellow wedding professional and newlywed, and had the pleasure of hiring this band for my wedding. I could not be happier with my special day and much credit is due to Derek and his team - they ROCKED it! They were so entertaining, talented, easy going, polite, well rounded, trusting and truly kept the party going until the lights went on! Weeks past my event now, and guests are still raving about how outstanding this band was. From start to finish, this company was a dream to work with - accommodating with meeting times, open to music suggestions and really in tune with my vision for the day. On the day, the team were punctual, professional and a delight to have by my side. Without a shadow of doubt, I will recommend this band to all friends, family and future wedding clientele. Thank you Derek to you and your team for making my day a dream come true!!!

  Best. Band. Ever. What a great bunch of musicians and singers. This band plays everything! From the start of the evening till the lights went out they had everyone dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. This Mother of the Bride hasn’t danced so much in years!!! Highly highly recommend!

  BEYOND AMAZING! I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Derrik met with us and talked to us about what we wanted, went above and beyond when he mixed together a song for my dad and I, made the entire evening run so smoothly, got the entire guest list involved and on the dance floor, he even had the groom and I up on stage! We had so much fun with him and know you will too! The DRB is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! You won't regret it. :)

  Derek and the Dan Rafferty Band were the best money we spent on the wedding! They were amazing - they came with a jazz band for cocktail hour that my guests really enjoyed (shout out to the saxophonist)! They worked with us to make sure they were playing songs we wanted to hear and they also gauge the crowd reactions to songs and play subsequent songs accordingly. Multiple guests remarked to me that they are the best live band they've seen at a wedding! It's nice that they can also DJ songs if needed (like our first dance song) so there's no need to hire both a DJ and a band! Book The Dan Rafferty Band for your wedding - it will be the best decision you make!

  The Dan Rafferty Band is outstanding. People are still talking about the Band a month later. The dance floor was full all night, and everyone was dancing. The DRB was great leading up to the event to make sure they were prepared. I could suggest songs that we wanted, and they even played a few songs for us that were not on the list. They kept the party going and Derek was a perfect emcee. If I had to do it again I would get the DRB for sure!

  Delivers on every last thing and more

  I knew that having good wedding coordinators and a great band would be what would truly make or break our wedding. I can certainly say that our coordinator failed us and the Dan Rafferty Band SAVED it from being a disaster. I had so many speciality things I asked Derek to do. I was very very picky and the announcements were also unique. These guys delivered on everything. The LIVE band was amazing, the DJ mixing was fantastic, the enthusiasm was out of this world. These guys world hard for u!! Thanks also for the special jam session with our hired tap dancer. Would highly recommend theyre the best best best!

  The Dan Rafferty Band is HANDS DOWN the best. After hearing them a friend's wedding a few years ago, I knew right then that there was no way I was having my wedding without them there. And sure enough, I didn't secure my wedding date without making sure they were available to drive to Chicago, since they're based in Detroit. Beyond just being fabulous musicians and singers with the ability to play and sing absolutely anything, they are incredible entertainers and delight every single person in the room, dancer or not. Clearly there is love in the room at any wedding, but the way they facilitate that emotion throughout the evening is indescribable. Speaking of facilitate, it's the band/DJ that emcee's the entire evening and runs the schedule, which is essentially the foundation of the event, and I could not have trusted them more with that task, to the point where if something actually went wrong, I entirely believe they would make it look like it didn't. I could go on forever, but will just say besides saying "yes", hiring the DRB was the best wedding decision I made.
