I am honored to have been the very first wedding at the Crawford! My fiancé and I had been looking for an outdoor ceremony space and indoor reception area for awhile and felt defeated. I still don’t know how I found this venue, but I am so so happy that I did! The space is beyond stunning and our guests were truly in awe. It’s a blank slate to do whatever colors and decor you choose with the most modern and elegant feel I’ve seen from a venue so far. Oliver took care of us from the start! He was there for every phone call, question, and text, big or small! He helped connect me to vendors, set up seating charts, and always asked questions about things I didn’t think of. We had the option to bring in our own vendors and everyone worked together so well on the day of. For me, Anna’s, the event manager’s service was the icing on the cake. She is your hype woman when you need her, your train fluffer, and point of contact when you need her on the wedding night. She was so responsive on my wedding and always made sure to check in throughout the night. The bartenders were so so fun and really got to know our guests and what they liked. We cannot thank the Crawford enough for hosting our wedding and would recommend it to anyone!The Crawford's reply:

During the search for a venue, the Crawford was the first one of several places we toured and kept coming back to in our minds. The decor and size of the facility is perfect for a personal, but roomy elegant wedding. Cannot say enough compliments to the staff and how helpful and insightful everyone was leading up to and the day of, from Catie the manager to the bartenders. We could not have picked a better venue that fit our budget and made our wedding as perfect as we hoped for when it all came together. -

I loved working with the Crawford for our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone loved the different rooms and couldn't believe how beautiful our reception was in the ballroom. As an out-of-state couple, Catie made the process seamless for us and was able to get on the phone with me several times to talk through planning. She was professional, friendly, and wonderful to work with. I would 100% choose this venue again and would highly recommend it to any bride looking for a beautiful venue that won't break the budget. -

Beautiful elegant wedding!
I got married at the Crawford in December and as the Bride I can say with full confidence that along with my team of helpers, the staff at this venue worked so smoothly and so well that I simply enjoyed my day without worry. We remained on schedule, small changes like lighting were changed exactly when asked, and the venue was just gorgeous. The suggested vendors were also amazing! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the space was beautiful and exactly what we imagined! -

Beautiful and versatile wedding venue
We had an amazing experience with The Crawford for our early September wedding. The layout of the venue is incredibly versatile, allowing us to customize each space exactly as we envisioned. We chose to spend the entire day on-site - including getting ready - which made everything feel seamless.
The bridal suite was perfect for hair, makeup, and beautiful pre-ceremony photos. We also loved using the billiards room as an additional getting-ready space and for a variety of fun photo moments. The chapel was another stunning spot for portraits, and we later used it as the room for our food stations. Our ceremony took place on the patio, and we used the ballroom for both cocktail hour and the reception. We were even able to create a cute lounge area using The Crawford’s furniture, which worked out perfectly.
The venue itself is truly gorgeous and spacious, and the team made the experience even better. Sarah was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible, and genuinely fun to work with throughout the entire planning process - we appreciated her so much!
Also, the location is nearby a ton of hotel options, and the venue has a large parking lot! -

The Crawford was the perfect backdrop to our deco wedding. The whole venue is yours for the night. It has multiple rooms so if someone doesn't want to dance, they can go sit in the billiards room or play pool. With 180 guests, everyone was seated comfortably for both our ceremony and reception, and their team flipped the room FAST. Catie's calm and caring nature made our wedding day a breeze! She coordinated our rehearsal time and let us drop off some decorations a couple days before the wedding, crossing off a big chore the morning of our wedding. The bartenders were a big hit with our group, too! With the amount of people we had, we were able to set up a mobile bar outside for guests hanging on the patio on our perfect September evening. HIGHLY recommend booking The Crawford for your event!! Rob and Ali 9.5.25

The Burgin Wedding - 06.01.25
We LOVED every part of the Crawford!
As a couple searching for a venue out of town and in one of the more expensive locations of Illinois, we were already concerned with finding something that matched our elegant and timeless aesthetic yet stayed within our price range. When we stumbled upon the Crawford, we immediately fell in love with the look of it all. The windows throughout and the architecture within made our whole day feel even more like a dream.
Oliver Chan was so gracious at the beginning of our venue hunt as he answered all our crazy questions with peace and humility. He responded quickly and did everything he possibly could, and in all fairness, to make the Crawford fit within our budget.
Anna Dinterman and Sarah Kwan teamed up during our planning to help make all our wedding day dreams come true. They eloquently managed our day and made me feel so at peace throughout the planning process and during our wedding. Thank you all for your beautiful service!
The Burgins could not be happier with our experience at the Crawford. We are so blessed we found such an outstanding venue with more outstanding staff. We hope this review serves as hope for many couples to come!

I am a wedding planner that has worked with The Crawford for weddings and have loved that experience and the beauty of the venue. So when I needed photos for my new branding, I reached out to them to ask if I could possibly rent the facility to use as a backdrop. They were fantastic to work with for this part of the project. The venue was gorgeous as always, and they asked if there was anything they could do to make it better for that day. It was such a wonderful experience. Once again, they were nothing but professional and amazing to work with! I highly recommend The Crawford for any of your event needs!! -

We just had our wedding at The Crawford in March and it was the BEST experience! The Crawford is stunning, elegant, and spacious. We worked with Catie, Anna, and Oliver who all were excellent with communication and kindly answered all my many many questions. They worked with me and my budget and were a friendly and calming presence on my wedding day. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue! -

We had our wedding reception at The Crawford on 12/28/2024 and had an exceptional experience. Our reception was absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments from our guests. I wanted an elegant venue and The Crawford fit the bill perfectly. We loved how there were separate rooms to explore for cocktail hour or anytime during the event. The decor is stunning and we appreciated the open vendor policy. Anna (the venue manager) was so pleasant and easy to work with. She worked so well with our vendors and replied to our emails very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Crawford to anyone! -

Finding The Crawford was the best thing that could’ve happened to me! We had a 2 month engagement and I was close to aloping. Searching through the internet I came across their website. The venue immediately blew my mind away. Oliver and Anna were quick to respond to me for our first meeting, I truly felt like I was able to trust them with my dream wedding. They took care of me and made me feel like I was more than just another bride. Anna went above and beyond to meet my needs, any last minute accommodations, and the flexibility she offered made my wedding a huge success. I can’t express enough how amazing Anna and Oliver were, I couldn’t stop telling my friends and family about them. My team was so blown away by how they were as well. Let’s not forget the beautiful building, it was all perfect. If I would, I would do the process all over again. -

Our wedding day was perfection!
We found The Crawford during a google search while looking for venues that were located in the suburbs of Chicago. When we started looking into The Crawford, we found out that this was a newer venue, which we liked. We were looking for something unique and a venue no one has ever seen before. We booked a tour and fell in love immediately! Every single person we worked with from the moment we toured to the day of the wedding was amazing. We worked the closest with Sarah, who was very helpful throughout the whole planning process & she did her best to accommodate all of our requests. We personally think the best feature of The Crawford is the various rooms you can use throughout the venue. You can be so creative with the space and make it your own. The venue itself is so beautiful that you really don’t need too much decor! Their preferred vendors list is amazing as well, which can make the wedding planning process a little less stressful. Overall, we had an amazing experience working with The Crawford and we can truly say our wedding was perfect! -
