I had my ceremony and dinner reception here at Courtyard Marriott Monterey Park 2 months ago. Shout out to Jennifer and Stephanie for being so patient and flexible with my request and my questions. The team always answers my email promptly and trjed their best to accomodate my needs. On the night before the wedding, I also got a complimentary charcuterie board and champagne delivered to my room. On the wedding day, Jennifer was there and made sure the groom and I were taken care of! We opted for the western plated dinner and the dinner portion was huge as well as delicious! All my guests were definitely full and happy! Thank you Jennifer and Stephanie!

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at this venue. We had such an amazing experience with our wedding venue from beginning to end. The entire day was absolutely beautiful, and everything exceeded our expectations. The venue itself was stunning, well organized, and made our special day feel effortless.

A huge thank you to the Jennifer, who was truly the best. She was incredibly flexible, attentive, and made sure every detail was handled with care. Her professionalism and calm presence made the planning process so much easier, and we felt completely supported throughout this exciting time for us.

Overall, everything was outstanding, from the service provided by all her wonderful staff to the atmosphere and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important day! We highly recommend this place for any special occasion!

From the start, Jen was amazing, attentive, and professional. She wanted to make sure we got everything we wanted for our lilac wedding day along with making sure to honor our wants/needs while being explicit with what Courtyard could provide. They were very accommodating, mindful of us, and made us feel important for every step of the way.

I loved every step of the process in wedding prep (believe it or not!) with Jen and our wedding planner Dawnee, which made the whole process the least stressful as possible; even our guests told us that we seemed super chill throughout the process in our 1 year 2 months engagement.

Thank you so much for making our wedding day better than we could've imagined CMMP, Dawnee (our wedding planner), and all of our vendors! Our hearts are so full!

We booked with Courtyard in the fall for our xmas company party. And from the very start we had the best customer service. Jennifer was very helpful and accomadating. The event and staff was the best experience I've ever had with a venue, and it says a lot because I have booked for many events in the past. The night of the event was so amazing because of the staff! The food was delicious, we recieved many compliments from our guests. Everyone was very sweet and accomadating! The staff made sure we were having a good time! I will definetly be booking with them for our next events!

We had our tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and reception at the Courtyard, and it was absolutely fantastic. The venue is wonderful, the service was incredible, and the banquet (from Chef Tony's) was delicious. And of course, our guests had an extremely wonderful and fun time!

(The venue was also very spacious and new, and the foyer outside outside the ballroom was super useful.)

We recently hosted our Sunday Funday event at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Monterey Park on November 24th, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations!

The venue itself is beautiful, with a perfect blend of modern style and comfort. The event space was spacious and well-suited for our group, providing the ideal atmosphere for a fun and engaging watch party. The AV setup was top-notch, ensuring a smooth and seamless viewing experience for everyone.

A huge shout-out to the staff at Courtyard by Marriott Monterey Park! They went above and beyond to ensure that our event was a success. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, their team was professional, accommodating, and incredibly friendly. Their attention to detail and customer service made us feel welcome and well taken care of.

The food and beverages were also fantastic. They offered a great selection of snacks and drinks, which kept our guests happy and energized throughout the game. Everyone raved about the quality of the food, and the service was impeccable.

The location is another highlight – easily accessible and in a great area for both local guests and those coming from outside of town.

We are so grateful to the team at Courtyard by Marriott Monterey Park for making our NFL Watch Party a memorable event. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, and we’re already looking forward to hosting future events here. Highly recommend for any event – whether it’s a casual get-together or something more formal. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

Did not host a wedding, but used site for memorial service. Nice airy room. Customer service excellent. Room set up as requested and no issues with AV.

We worked with Jennifer throughout the entire process and was so thankful to have her! She was so patient with us, very open and kind. She gave us a lot of pointers and advice throughout the planning process that we felt very comfortable with entrusting her and the Courtyard Marriott with our special day. She is very responsive and honest with us from the beginning. She was also very involved during the day of, helping our wedding planner with the minor details. The entire venue it self is beautiful and we were able to take pictures throughout the hotel. Because it rained on our wedding day, we had to move inside for the ceremony. However, because she knew how important it was for me to have the wedding outside (because the venue is beautiful!), we were able to take pictures outside and it was such a great experience! I couldn't have wished for it to be any different. Thank you Jennifer and the entire team for being so flexibe, supportive, honest, and kind to us throughout the entire process! It truly felt like we were a part of a family celebrating us :)

My wife and I had our Chinese wedding banquet at this venue. All our family and friends have nothing but positive comments about our wedding celebration. This would not be possible without Jennifer! She helped us from beginning to the very end. Wedding planning was very stressful as you all know, we were lucky to have Jennifer to offer a hand every step of the way. The hotel is new and VERY clean. We hope to book more future celebrations in this venue.

I appreciate Jennifer + team's above and beyond communication and creativity in helping me create a wonderful Tea Ceremony event at this Courtyard.
Jennifer emailed me in a timely fashion and met up with me the week before to help me see the space and how I would like to set it up. Her team set up the room extra early and were available during the whole event to help order more food and add flowers and decorations
The only note, which is completely on me, is that i wish i ordered more food!

Would 10000% hold another event here!

We held our tea ceremony and second wedding reception here, and Jennifer and her staff were amazing! The venue looked beautiful, and the team was very easy to work with. They were highly communicative from beginning to end and thoroughly answered all of our questions.

Jennifer even went the extra mile to help my grandma find her dress after she misplaced it following the wedding, which we truly appreciated. Although there was a small issue on the day of the event, Jennifer resolved it immediately and professionally.

The food was good, though the portions were a bit smaller than some of our guests expected. Overall, my wife and I—and all of our guests—had a wonderful experience.

We hosted our wedding ceremony on the outside terrace and the space was perfect for about 150 people! Jennifer helped accommodate all of our concerns and was very fast to respond. She even made it a seamless transition when she had an emergency the weekend of our wedding. Highly recommend working with her and her team!

My wife and I had our wedding in July at the courtyard Marriott in Monterey Park. Jen was absolutely wonderful with helping us get every detail together and making the day special for us! She helped us with a timeline with milestones of things to complete, drew up a seating chart, and made sure we were will taken care. This definitely helped ease some of the stress that we had to endure planning the wedding. Jen also was amazing contacting our vendors and ensuring everything was settled day of the wedding.

We had chef Tony as our catering for food. It was delicious and worthwhile. We were able to make adjustments according to our guests dietary conditions and also were able to add dishes for those that were vegetarian.


The service was fantastic with the servers. Even our guests mentioned that their cups were never empty the entire night.

Every guest told us what a wonderful time they had! I cannot thank Jen enough for helping us make our day so special! Definitely would recommend having your wedding here!

I haven't done a wedding in a long while, 17yrs to be exact, so i did have sticker shock. But other than that, overall my husband and I really liked the venue a lot because it was one of the newer hotels in the area that also offered a chinese banquet menu. We had it customized also and the chef and manager worked clisely and amicably with us the entire proces. The manager and chef team were also flexible with minor adjustments to the menu due to food allergies of guests. I am most appreciative of that! I must also make mention re: the entire service team that served the food the eve of the event especially Steven Vega, the team leader truly exceeded all expectations and that was a really big plus for me personally, as most people know, chinese restaurants have great food but the service is often times to be desired! I congratulate the entire team that worked on our event for their great effort making our event positive and definitely memorable! THANK YOU!

But worth it. They didn’t allow outside catering but their food was better than I expected. I would do it again if I had a choice.

We really enjoyed having the option to provide our guests with the experience of a 10 course Eastern menu. The food was delicious! The event space is also very nice, in addition to the hotel lobby that guests enter through. There were a few hiccups with communication (e.g. the menu we paid for got switched just a few weeks before the wedding which was stressful. Thankfully, we were able to speak with the catering team who was able to fix it.) Overall, we enjoyed having our wedding at this venue!

Starting with the negatives first: they took our appetizers and desserts away after the reception (bride and groom), even though we paid for it all, so we felt we should have been able to take it home. Especially the desserts: we opted to bring our own desserts from a third-party, and yet they took those as well, which should have rightfully been ours. We also felt that the food was cooked better during our tasting than on the day of the reception. Another thing, my wife didn't like that there was not a place to get ready and do makeup unless you booked a room to stay the night.
The Chef's choice of the vegetarian dish was disappointing, not worth the price.

They have a cool option to have boba catered in-house during your reception, and although we hit a few roadbumps in getting that together, the boba was a big hit with everybody that attended. I do want to mention that this was not at all the fault of David, the owner of Bobaful, but rather a mixup between the hotel's manager and Courtney.

For the good part though, the coordinator (Courtney) was very helpful throughout the whole planning process, and was easy to contact. She would reply to our emails within a week. They also great perks included in their wedding package; we chose to get the suite for our stay and the room was fantastic (spacious, 2 king beds, 3 bathrooms, with a lounge area that connects the rooms). The banquet captain, Steven, was super helpful on the day of and went above and beyond (he even put all of our props and wedding decor into our room for us on the night of). Everybody also loved the bartender. Parking is great and convenient; there's a garage underneath the hotel (but they do charge a service and tax fee on top of the parking fee). Overall, we would recommend this venue to others.
