Such a beautiful venue and an incredible team to work with! We had our ceremony outside and our reception indoors. It was so spacious and beautiful! I got ready for the big day in the upstairs loft and it was so airy, peaceful, and relaxed- just the way I wanted to start my wedding day! The folks at The Cordelle are incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful- I am so grateful to have had them to work with in cultivating the perfect wedding day! :)

Where do I even begin?! As soon as I toured this venue, it took my breath away. It's absolutely stunning with a variety of spaces to gather. Everyone that works here was so friendly, responsive, and helpful. All of my guests raved over this venue on how beautiful, intimate and cozy it was. Thank you for having us and allowing us to create the most precious memories in this space!

We knew fairly early on that we wanted to use The Cordelle. They were accommodating of our requests and have a purely a la carte system. You book the venue, then add the things you want. You aren't given things you don't need and have them thrown into the rental cost. The venue itself is beautiful, even with minimal decorations. We booked a Friday in mid-winter to save on costs, and it turned out great! Highly recommended!

We knew we didn't want a lot of decorations as we were trying to reduce costs and waste. The Cordelle was the PERFECT place. The venue already has so much beauty and character, so you don't need to add much to make it a romantic space for a wedding. They worked with us and even helped us find our other vendors, which took so much stress off our plates. Our guests complimented the space endlessly. Not to mention, they gave us the sweetest little gift on the day of our wedding. I would recommend this group to everyone. Plus, they are opening up a second, larger space soon!

When looking for venues in Nashville, The Cordelle was our dream site to host our wedding. We thought it would be out of our price range because of how popular and beautiful the site is. However, it was incredibly reasonably priced and the staff were amazing! Everything went so smoothly and it made the perfect backdrop for our day!

1. Beautiful venue, chic & organic, yet urban . Garden is lovely as well as the side porch.
2. Management is responsive and website is easy to navigate.
3. Venue stays booked so reserve well in advance of event.
4. The Cordelle has a fantastic list of preferred vendors which is a great resource especially if you're planning the wedding from out of town.
5. There is mandatory security fee and an insurance policy that you have to purchase .
6. Plenty of parking for guests if they choose to drive ( we all ubered).
7. Our ceremony was outside in the garden which was perfect, lovely & magical but there was a fair amount of traffic noise from the highway & from the urban setting in general.

Our wedding at the Cordelle was unforgettable. The venue speaks for itself, and the management has done a wonderful job of creating a sublime event space in the middle of the city. We found this venue to be a way to pick and choose how much money to spend on each aspect of the day, and we were able to save money on certain areas that might be predetermined at other venues. The 2 included beautiful bars were a definite benefit. The whole venue fit the aesthetic we wanted, and our guests loved it. Thank you Cordelle!

We had a beautiful and wonderful wedding, and it is due in large part to the absolute beautiful venue that is The Cordelle. With many of our guests coming in from out of town, we wanted them to be able to have the "Nashville experience" while also feeling that they were at a intimate and serene wedding. We were able to accomplish this at The Cordelle. The outdoor space was fantastic for a cigar bar and firepit while the acoustics inside were excellent for a band while we danced the night away. The exposed brick and grand ceilings helped to make it feel like a traditional and classic yet modern and open wedding all at the same time. We had a seated dinner for 135 with a fairly large stage set -up for the band. I feel that we were at capacity for what we had, but it was wonderful and so much fun!

If you are looking for a beautiful and flexible wedding venue in Nashville, this is your spot! Not only is the venue itself absolutely stunning, the staff are the most professional, helpful, and wonderful people to work with. My fiancé and I cannot recommend the Cordelle enough.

The Cordelle is the perfect place to have both your wedding and reception. All of the ladies are lovely and my wedding was perfect thanks to this great venue.

We loved having the Cordelle for our wedding venue! It has such a beautiful mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, perfect for our late spring wedding. The loft space is so also warm and inviting, and it made the perfect place for us to get ready and relax on the day of the wedding. We also enjoyed that the Cordelle is a blank slate and has an open vendor policy, which allowed us to get exactly the look and feel that we wanted for our wedding day. Lastly, we loved the proximity to downtown Nashville, and all of our guests enjoyed being able to experience the nightlife of the city so easily after the wedding. The Cordelle was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we highly recommend it!

We were fortunate to be able to have our ceremony on the lawn on a Friday evening and noise was minimal.

100% a 5/5 star venue. We booked this venue a short time after it's opening day and I would imagine as time goes on it will be one of Nashville's premier and desired venue's. The staff at the Cordelle exudes professionalism, the entire property is immaculate and gorgeous. The flexibility to use the vendors of your choice is an incredible peace of mind compared to the countless venues that require booking their own vendors which can cost a lot of money. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Cordelle and I look forward to hearing the name of this venue and the undoubted success they will have for years to come.

The Cordelle is the perfect place for a Southern wedding! Everything about it is absolutely stunning! They have been so easy to work with and beyond a joy to be around!

The moment I walked into The Cordelle, I knew I wanted to get married there. The renovations were not even finished yet but I knew it would be perfect. The owners were so easy to work with and allowed my vendors to visit the venue several times before the wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception with about 375 guests and it flowed just perfectly. I highly recommend events at The Cordelle. You will not be disappointed.

The most gorgeous place in Nashville to have a wedding! So much personality, uniqueness, options, etc.

The Cordelle was the perfect place for our wedding! We'd been searching high and low for a venue that would let us "do what we wanted" and The Cordelle was the perfect match. They really have it all - beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, a great team, awesome location, and they let us bring in all of our own vendors. No stale caterers or minimum menu prices for on-site catering - hurray! We had a lovely outdoor, evening wedding and then a fabulous reception inside where our guests were able to mingle on the dance floor, at the tables, and then on the lovely patio. The upstairs Bridal Loft was the perfect place for the ladies to get prepped. We had ample space to dress and get made-up as well as a kitchen area for snacks and Prosecco. The bridal room itself was a separate space so I was able to get completely dressed, ready, and photographed in my own space. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend the lovely Cordelle to anyone for their special event!

The ULTIMATE in southern chic, this is the place to get married. The owners are great, there are outdoor and indoor spaces, great capacity, great set-up with easy access for bands, bars, and caterers, and a bridal area that is just fabulous! And it is just simply lovely. Our wedding was wonderful there and this was the perfect place for us. :-)

The staff at The Cordelle is incredible. They have allowed us to do walk throughs with our vendors any time of the day. We were also able to select our own vendors and bring in our own alcohol at The Cordelle which was a huge budget saver. The space is absolutely gorgeous and affordable considering other downtown options.

The Cordelle is a completely unique venue in Nashville. It is situated in a beautiful restored house, but also boasts a big covered porch and secluded-feeling garden area. If you are looking for outdoor space but don't want to be far from the city, this is the venue for you.


When I first saw the beauty of the venue, I assumed I could not afford it. When I researched and compared with other similar venues, however, I found the value to be outstanding (especially considering that garden space!). Pay attention to the seasonal rates, and consider booking a weekday at an hourly rate. (Do note, however, that if you plan to do a ceremony and reception-- dinner and dancing-- you should expect to book at least 12 hours. Consider vendor set-up and teardown, and allot appropriate time.)


Also, know that the Cordelle has a number of strict rules/requirements to protect your guests and the historic venue itself. None of these rules seemed unjust to me, but you will want to fully read and understand the contract before signing.

I loved working with Nealy, Leigh and Chandra at The Cordelle for my wedding. The space is beautiful, the owners are a delight--and they were truly kind, flexible and helpful with so much! I love their open vendor policy--and, honestly: the bridal loft rules all. This place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated/styled and makes for amazing pics. The only issue we had was with the sound during some of the dancing at the wedding--but, with a better run through of it beforehand on our part I'm sure it could have been avoided!

The Cordelle is a beautiful venue and we really enjoyed having our wedding ceremony and reception there. We chose it because it fit our warm and welcoming Southern style theme. It has a large space for the bridal party to get ready the morning of and we were able to hold our small wedding (~70 guests) inside which was preferable for us. You are able to bring in any wedding vendors you want and BYOB which allows you to have much more control over your wedding. The staff was great to work with and always very professional and responsive. We loved our choice of venue for our wedding and I would recommend them as a venue!

Loved this venue! It was so beautiful and everyone commented that our wedding was amazing here. We had about 140 people for our indoor reception and honestly I don’t think you want to go over 150-160 if you are doing it strictly indoors as it would start to feel cramped. There are some “add ons” you can purchase but essentially you have to purchase some of them if you want the ceremony outside. There is no ice machine so we had to buy a few large coolers. We also had to rent a warmer for our caterer as there isn’t one of those. The rate that is quoted to have a wedding here is incorrect we had 140 people and Having it here was as “cheap” as we thought and we didn’t go lavish except on the band. With that being said I would 100% book this place again.
