  Delicious cake, great price

  We were one of those couples who didn’t really care too much about the cake and what it looked like, etc. so our main concern became the price. Despite that, our cake became a talking point of our wedding. Everyone was talking about how delicious the red velvet cake was and I had multiple people ask me what bakery it was from! They were extremely reasonable in price although we did choose to do a smaller tiered cake and a sheet cake instead of a huge tiered cake. Our cake was designed to feed 150 or so, our guest count was 120 and we were able to take the whole top tier home to freeze for our first anniversary!

  Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! We ordered the cupcake samper to taste different flavor/filling combinations, and ended up going with chocolate cake with a strawberry filling. Generally my husband and I are not huge fans of fruit fillings, but this strawberry filling actually consisted of real strawberries, which made it delicious and perfect for our spring wedding! As far as the design, they had explained to our wedding coordinator at The Century House that, because we had selected buttercream instead of fondant, they would not be able to replace our design exactly. However, we had nothing to worry about - the cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had hoped for!

  I ordered a 2 tier wedding cake and it was delicious and beautiful. It was delivered on time and set up by them. I had no hicupsnto deal with and I would definitely order cakes in the future.when I went in to order the cake I had no clue what to order. Christine the cake decorator sat down with me and went over some details with me and helped me with the thought process and brought my ideas to life for the big day.

  Less than a month before our wedding we decided to change our wedding cake plans and to go with The Cookie Factory because we cant resist their famous fudge filling. They were able to accommodate us so last minute and made the most amazing wedding cake we have ever tasted! One of our favorite things they do is give you four cupcakes to taste at home which allows you not to feel pressured. We were able to try the different combinations and found our favorite- the famous fudge filling with a thin layer of raspberry jam on their delicious white cake! We did our consultation with Christina and she completely understood exactly what we were looking for and our vision for our wedding cake. She answered any and all questions we had without hesitation. Our cake had a floral topper and loose flowers along the side of the cake. When we picked up the flowers from the florist that morning we were not pleased with how they looked. Christina could tell we were very stressed about this and ensured us she would fix it for us and make the cake look beautiful- even if that meant adding some of her own fake flowers from the shop. She was able to clean up the flowers, added some color, and arranged them so they looked beautiful! The cake tasted amazing and all of our guests loved the flavor combination we chose. The one surprise we weren't expecting was the extra cake that was delivered. Very thoughtful and much appreciated!!! Instead of saving the top layer of our wedding cake we decided to save the extra cake and cant wait to cut into it next year on our anniversary! Thank you so much for a job well done!!! We will be using The Cookie Factory for all of our cake needs in the future!

  These people are an absolute life saver!!! I had another bakery (Piece of Cake Bakery near Albany) screw me over about 1 week before my wedding. I had to find another bakery STAT. These ladies felt for me so much and helped me with my cake. 1 week before my wedding! The cake was absolutely breath taking. Everything about it was perfect. They took down my information of what I wanted and told me to relax and not the worry about it. And that's exactly what they did. They took it into their own hands and fixed my situation that I had. The cake arrived at my venue in time and it looked wonderful. Plus it tasted amazing. These people were actually our first choice but it was stupid of us the not go with them in the first place.

  The Cookie Factory did a great job on our cake! We brought in a picture of what we wanted our cake to look like and they matched it to a T. We got so many compliments of how the cake tasted!

  Our cake purchase was bundled through our vendor (Birch Hill Catering in Castleton, NY), so we aren't entirely sure of Cookie Factory's pricing, or how it is to work with them directly. The cake itself, however, was delicious and looked beautiful too! Cookie Factory has a pretty good number of flavors to choose from, so you'll almost definitely find something you like. The only issue we had was with the tasting--the baker we spoke with was efficient, but none too friendly. But the cake was a hit, so in the end that's what really matters!

  My venue included a wedding cake in the package, so I was excited to finally get something for free, or so I thought. I had a vision of a 4 tier white butter cream cake with ribbons and crystals. I did get the cake I want, but because of the people guaranteed for my wedding, I had to pay extra. I did not mind the extra cost, but the amount was what made me upset. To make my cake 4 tier instead of 3, it would have been $150. To add a fake extra tier, $75, and to just have an extra cake in the back that no one will see to make up for not cutting the top tier, was only $50. I don't understand why it was $100 difference to add the tier to the cake or just hide it in the back. The cake was good, but a bit dry. I did like it, but do not think it was worth what I would have spent, if I paid for the while thing out of pocket.

  Brides please do NOT order your wedding cake from the Cookie Factory in Troy, NY. My daughter ordered a grooms cake and her wedding cake from here and we were totally dissatisfied. The grooms cake was supposed to be two motorcycle tires with a motorcycle on top of the cake, the two tires looked more like a black top hat, not two tires. Also she ordered a three tier square cake and they sent a three tier circle cake which wouldn't have been so bad if the frosting wasn't so spotty and full of air bubbles and not smoothly done or even attempted to look nice. Very disappointed. Would never order another cake from the Cookie Factory in Troy, NY again.
