  A+ service! I would recommend The Constant Scribe to anyone! I contacted Kim, after seeing some of her beautiful work and wonderful reviews, to do calligraphy on a large wedding certificate for our California elopement. Kim was absolutely wonderful to correspond with, very professional and quick to respond. Additionally, she kept me updated every step of the way and ensured I was happy with the final result. I'm so happy we chose The Constant Scribe for our very special marriage certificate!   Kim was by far my favorite wedding vendor to work with. She was quick to respond to emails which is important to me. She was warm, kind, patient and trustworthy. She was able to complete my invitations quickly and they are so beautiful. She takes the time to understand what you want and again the quality was outstanding. They are so beautiful and I cannot wait to send them out!! I would recommend Kim to everyone I know.

  I can not say enough about how wonderful Kim is as a person and her phenomenal work. We had her address over 100 ivory wedding invitation envelopes in a custom gold ink. She not only accommodated our requests for Vietnamese spellings (accents etc.) but she sent photo samples confirming the look and style prior to addressing the envelopes. I and both mothers of the bride and groom were beyond thrilled with the results. We've had several guests contact us specifically to compliment the calligraphy! But the cherry on top was definitely Kim's professionalism and friendliness! She was very prompt returning all emails and always checked in to give us a status during the process. I would highly recommend Kim to anyone and everyone!

  I just wanted to say Kim did an amazing job on the invitations for my wedding. She was very professional and I was happy to work with her. She provided a realistic timeline and kept to it. The invitations were beautiful and we received many compliments on the invites from our guests. I would recommend Kim to anyone that is looking for a calligrapher for their special day!

We found Kim on the Internet and chose her because of her outstanding reviews and beautiful samples and have no regrets. Kim’s replies were always quick and friendly, not automated. My daughter and I had the opportunity to meet with Kim and she made us feel very welcomed and gave us all the time we needed. She showed us samples of her work and she knew exactly what we were looking for. She was very thorough in all aspects of the job and even caught a mistake on our address list. She’s no doubt a perfectionist! On top of all that, our cost was less than originally quoted after she saw the envelopes she was going to work with. Imagine, in this day and age, someone charging less than quoted!
  The final outcome…Amazing! Kim’s work is absolutely stunning and the whole process went smoothly. She is a true professional that has mastered her craft. She’s a rare find and we hope to have the privilege to work with her again.

  My fiancé and I did not plan on having our invitations addressed in calligraphy, but we are so very glad that we did! Kim was knowledgeable and her work was absolutely stunning. Because we didn't plan to use calligraphy, we didn't have any set ideas about the style of type that we wanted. Kim was able to give us choices and selections, and we are so thankful for her help! She matched the calligraphy on the envelopes to the font we used on our invitations, so everything was a cohesive and beautiful presentation. We used a very traditional style and wording, and the calligraphy was the first impression for our guests on the style of the wedding. I got messages from friends remarking on how gorgeous our invitations were, and that was definitely because of the beautiful calligraphy! (The invitations themselves were very simple.)
  
  We also had a significant number of international invitations, and Kim had those ready for us a week before the rest of the invitations so that we could send them out sooner. Everything about Kim's work was great. She is thoughtful and kind, so she's incredibly pleasant to work with. She is knowledgeable and talented, so any questions we had about etiquette, she was able to answer, and her work was stunning. We are so glad Kim did our invitations, and we would heartily recommend her!

  Kim is truly gifted! Her work is in a class that stands alone! Kim is so warm, genuine, easy to work with, and fair (very reasonably priced). She truly left lasting impression on me and I would tell anyone to book her immediately...it is she who you want to use for all your calligraphy needs! Her attention to detail, lettering, and creativity really are too amazing to express in words. You have to see it to believe it! I have received too many compliments to count!   Kim did all the calligraphy for the envelopes of our wedding invitations, we asked her to match a font used in the actual invitation and they turned out perfectly. The work was done fast and she double checked that everything was perfect before sending them back to us. I cannot recommend her more highly!

From a quality aspect we were told by multiple guests at our wedding that our invitations were the best calligraphy they had ever seen and some wanted the business card right then and there! From a working relationship aspect, I had a wonderful time getting to know Kim and being invited into her studio as we planned the invitations and then the place cards. She was timely, professional and courteous throughout the process and EXTREMELY fair when it came to price.
  
  You would do yourself a disservice to not use her.

  I collected several compliments on my invitations, including one woman who said they were the nicest invitation she had received. The invitations are the first impression a guest will get, and she worked with us to make sure the feel of the invitations matched the feel of our wedding day.   I hired Kim for her calligraphy service. I would highly recommend hiring her for your needs. Kim is very responsive, contributes her ideas as potential options for your consideration, creative and needs minimal direction. She delivered my order on schedule and under budget. I couldn't ask for her customer service and finished product to be any better.

  It's hard to believe that spring 2011 will mark 5 years since my wedding and I still get compliments from friends and family on the hand lettered invitations. In the five years since my wedding, Kim has designed birth announcements and baptism certificates for both of our children as well. Each design was unique and special for each of our children, down to specializing a new font for our daughter and mixing a special color ink as well.
