The Commerce Club Atlanta gave us the wedding of our dreams!

The Commerce Club Atlanta was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! Our other wedding venue fell through and we were in a scramble 2 months before our date… The Commerce Club not only had our date available, Melanie and her team jumped in to help this crazed bride and groom. The thoughtfulness of the team and their partnership throughout the planning process with us, with our wedding planner, and with our vendors led to the wedding of our dreams. On wedding day, my husband and I did not have to worry about anything! Even our guests were impressed and couldn't stop talking about the view, the food, the drinks, and the service (the entire staff is so friendly!) It was the biggest blessing for us to have to move our wedding to The Commerce Club Atlanta. We were truly in great hands!

August 2025 Wedding

We had our wedding reception at the Commerce Club in August 2025, and have nothing but positive things to say. The team at the Commerce Club did a fantastic job to make the day seamless and memorable. We felt as if everything behind the scenes was well taken care of and it helped alleviate a ton of stress in the process. Melanie was wonderful to work with -- helpful, hospitable, and responsive. We had no issues communicating with the Commerce Club during planning, nor any issues day of. We found the pricing to be the best bang for you buck, and were very impressed with the quality of the food and cake. If you're looking for a great view of the city, amazing service and hospitality, and quality food, this is the venue for you. Loved it, could not say anything but positives!

Awesome!

Melanie provided the best service and made our wedding day the best!!! She was so responsive and made our wedding so much less stressful. On our first visit to tour the Commerce Club we knew this event space was going to be our pick!! All the staff was so professional and so attentive!!! We would recommend the Commerce Club to anyone and every one.

Most beautiful wedding with the best staff!

Margaret is truly a dream to work with! We started working with her about five months before our wedding and are amazed with the results she produced for our wedding day. We are so glad she joined the team and was a huge helpful part of our special day. The venue is beautiful and the food is spectacular (thanks, Chef!) We truly could not have picked a better team to work with.

Best Rehersal Dinner Ever

Best event ever. Tijuana was amazing throughout the whole planning process, and the event was such a hit. Tijuana and her team coordinated the staff and our vendors for an event that went off without a hitch. The space itself was beautiful, as you have stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the 49th floor. For cocktail hour, and we had two bars so there were rarely any lines at the bar. For the dinner part of the evening, the A/V equipment worked very well for the slideshow my sister put together; the food was amazing; and the service was wonderful. They even accommodated some out-of the ordinary requests, because our rehearsal dinner was a costume party and we held a special "salt-line ceremony" out of the Sci-Fi TV show Battlestar Galactica. Overall it was a great experience, and I'd recommend The Commerce Club to anyone for a special event.

Don't count out the Commerce Club based on an assumption
that it will be too expensive. Get a quote. They're fantastic, and it's a five star venue with spectacular views. They'll work with your budget.

The Commerce club was the perfect venue for our wedding and Rafael was WONDERFUL to work with. He was flexible and accommodating, and worked so nicely with our Planner, Florist, Photographer and DJ. We chose a plated dinner and the food was absolutely phenomenal. We had the ceremony there as well - the view was unbelievable. The staff quickly turned a ceremony setting into the most elegant reception room I've ever seen, while our guests enjoyed cocktails and fabulous Hors d'oeuvres in a newly renovated room just down the hall. It was super convenient! We made a great choice putting this special day into the hands of Rafael and the Commerce Club....and he exceeded all expectations!

There should be more than five stars for Commerce Club! I was looking for a good venue for my daughter's wedding, and I ended up visiting the Commerce Club. I had a meeting with the wonderful Rafael (event organizer) which went very well; I fell in love with the place and of course with Rafael. The place looks amazing. It is beautiful with a wonderful view of Atlanta (the 49th floor of the building). It looks even more amazing at nights with all the city lights on. Everybody we met was friendly and helpful. My daughter had another venue in her mind and reluctantly came to see the Commerce Club; she also fell in love with Rafael and place immediately! From that initial visit on, they were simply amazing and accommodated all of our needs and wants for the wedding. The wedding was a big success! At the wedding, Rafael an Italio went above and beyond so that all our guests (176) could have the best time. So many people asked me that who found this place, and of course proudly I said : I did!

The Perfect Day
Troy and I had a difficult time choosing a wedding venue. Once we entered the "Commerce Club" we knew this was the wedding venue for us. Our wedding planner, Rafael Mendoza was prompt and greeted us in the foyer upon arrival to the site with warmth, a welcome smile, and hugs. Rafael took us on a tour of the venue, and it was beautiful. The skyline was breathtaking at night, overlooking downtown Atlanta and your guests will absolutely adore it.
Rafael scheduled our taste testing of the hors d oeuvres, dinner menu and cake. The food, prepared by Chef Muhammad was absolutely delicious. Chef Muhammad made this taste testing very special because he came out and presented each dish detailing the item and preparation. This was an awesome experience for both of us, including wine to top it off. Picasso Cakes were to die for at the cake tasting. Celso, the owner of Picasso cakes brought six different cakes for us to sample that were mouthwatering, including a catalog of cakes (designs) for us to choose from as well.
The day of my wedding was "perfect". Everything was just like I had planned from day one with Rafael a year ago. The excellent customer service from the ancillary staff was impeccable. Troy and I had our personal assistant from the "Commerce Club" that took care of us. Rafael and my personal planner adhered to the timeline from the wedding to the cocktail hour and the reception. All the vendors were in place; the cake was set-up, steel-pan drum, Jazz band, and dance floor ready. The food was just as we had chosen from the taste testing and delicious. My guests are still raving about our wedding one month out. Thanks to "Everyone" at the Commerce Club for making my wedding day "Perfect"..

The event coordinator at the Commerce Club--Rafael Mendoza--was absolutely incredible. He is organized, proactive, and helped us every step of the way. His knowledge of wedding receptions in general and his venue in specific were invaluable. He always kept an open line of communication with us, our vendors, and our parents. He solved problems along the way, proposed ideas that he thought would improve our reception, and agreed to last minute changes without hesitation. He truly went above and beyond for us and is a shining star in the customer service industry.

The food at the Commerce Club was incredible as well. They has us in for a tasting and we had an incredibly difficult time deciding which appetizers and entrees to serve our guests because everything was delicious. We heard the appetizers were a great hit during the cocktail hour. The dinner entrees were absolutely fantastic as well. Compliments to the chef and his staff on an incredible duet plate of filet mignon and Chilean sea bass.

The venue was fantastic. The Commerce Club is beautiful in and of itself, but the views are incredible as well. The staff did a wonderful job preparing the venue, taking care of our guests, and cleaning up after the event.

The Commerce Club is an amazing venue to have a wedding. The staff is incredible! I would strongly recommend this place to have a wedding!!

The Commerce Club is the BEST!!! My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here last month and it was absolutely beautiful. The team at the commerce club is extremely professional and on point-always. A HUGE component of that is RAFAEL. He's amazing. He made my husband and i feel so at home and comfortable during the stressful planning time. He's extremely organized. My wedding coordinator was not good, at all. And Rafael remained professional and picked up the slack, and made sure everything flowed perfecting. He coordinated a lot behind the scenes with my vendors. He also kept myself and my husband out of the know when it came to issues with a vendor etc-Rafaels main goal is to make sure you have an amazing day. We couldn't have imagined a better place to create such amazing memories. This venue truly is beautiful too. The views are unreal. Our guests were amazed with the venue as well. The staff are excellent. We can't say enough good things. Thank you to the Commerce Club and Rafael for a perfect beginning to our marriage and lives together.

RAFAEL WAS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST WONDERFUL PERSON I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE MET ALL MY WEDDING DAY NEEDS! CARING LOVING AND DEDICATED - VERY ORGANIZED. As a wedding planner, I visit a lot of venues and value a kind and generous staff. I can highly recommend the Commerce Club not only for its spectacular views but for its amazing and helpful staff! Rafael Mendoza is their wedding coordinator and a master of details. He was ready and willing to meet our every need! It was a wonderful wedding and the perfect place for the bride who is looking for a special downtown venue!

Mesita and Rafael were amazing in meeting my needs and making feel special, not just a customer. We cannot say enough great things about the Commerce Club and their handling of our wedding reception. Raphael was especially wonderful to work with. Planning a wedding takes a long time and he was so patient and made us feel very special throughout the entire process. He was so helpful with all of our questions and everything was handled just as we had planned. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful as well. We also are getting rave reviews from our guests about the FOOD! It was outstanding, which is hard to do for a party of 200+! We looked at many places downtown for this wedding and could not beat the view, the people and the overall value. I am so glad we chose the Commerce Club!

Wonderful venue for a reception! There are so many breathtaking views of Atlanta! The entire club space is open to you on your wedding day, and everyone is very helpful in making your special day the best it can be! Rafael, the coordinator on site, was so wonderful to work with!! I was blown away with the professionalism of the club! I had so many wonderful compliments about the wedding and the venue I chose! I was very pleased with the Commerce Club and look forward to possibly becoming a member with them in the future! :)

The Commerce Club offers a wonderful view of the city and it is also located next door to the Ritz-Carlton Downtown hotel. This venue offered my client the opportunity of having her guest enjoy the downtown view during the day as well as the evening. Working with Mesita to get everything started for my client was a pleasure, and although my client's wedding took place during her maternity leave she assured me that we would be in good hands with Rafael. As Mestia stated we were in great hands with Rafael! Although the numbers increased from what was originally planned, Rafael was able to help us with the necessary changes to ensure Nicole's day went smoothly. I enjoyed working with the staff, Rafael and Mesita. The Commerce Club along with the other wedding professionals that were hired help to create an epic event for Nicole and Maseka. As a wedding and event planner, it is always wonderful when I have the opportunity to work with venues that have an awesome event director and staff.

The Commerce Club was wonderful to work with. Rafael was so flexible and responsive and he worked with us to make our wedding perfect. This venue has an amazing view, quality service, and the food was absolutely amazing.

The reason it decided to celebrate my wedding at the Commerce Club was the unbelievable view. It is on the 49th floor and you can see all over Atlanta. We had the entire floor to ourself. I had my Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Receptiom all there. Everytging was handled very professional. I had the best coordinator, Rafael Mendoza, one could ask for. Not only was he professional, but he was also caring, nice, funny, and took care of everything. I had to coordinate everything via mail, because I didnt live in Atlanta, and he always replied in a short manner of time, fullfilled all my wishes, and took care of everything. I did not worry about a single thing. On my wedding day I was able to meet the rest of the staff. They all were so polite, nice, and caring. I felt very comfortable. For my Cockatil hour I choose fried gulf shrimp and crab cake bites. For dinner we had salad as appertizer, steak and salmon for entree, and banana pudding as dessert. The food was amazing. The steak was on point. The best steak I ever had in Atlanta (and I am very picky when it comes to steak). Rafael and his team were part of the reason, why my wedding day was the best day of my life. Everything was how I imagined. I can strongly recommend the Commerce Club.

Rafael was attentive, professional and friendly. He help coordinate every aspect of our wedding reception. Without him and the wonderful staff of the Commerce Club, our reception would not have gone so smoothly. We are almost 2yrs out and our friends still comment on how great the food was and how amazing the VIEW was that night! Thanks for everything!

I had the great pleasure to work with Rafael Mendoza and his team, and it was absolutely amazing. Rafael was so helpful from day one! Every time I had a question, concern or change (which was a LOT) he would respond quickly and help me with whatever it was. The whole team was wonderful and helpful as well. I know everyone who met Rafael had nothing but great things to say about him. The reception was gorgeous and it was more then I expected even with the rainy weather. Thank you very much for everything! I will certainly be recommending the Commerce Club and Rafael in the future!

The Commerce Club was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. From my first phone call to the club, they made the entire process stress-free. Rafael, our event contact, was great and made sure that our wedding was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and everyone on the staff was amazing. The one thing that sold me on this venue was the views! You can see everything! The next thing that sold me was their events planner, Rafael. He was so wonderful to work with. He had many ideas to share that made my reception absolutely wonderful! He was very responsive and met with us on several occasions to make sure planning was going the way we wanted it to. The price was reasonable, too, for everything that we got. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Book your wedding with the Commerce Club!! Rafael is amazing and accommodating! The venue has the most amazing venues... 49 stories up! And you never have to worry about the weather! The food is great and every guest complimented the beef! The staff was kind and professional. We were treated like royalty!

The Commerce Club is an amazing wedding venue! The views are spectacular, and the design is sophisticated. Every employee is so kind and welcoming; they made us feel like super VIPs at every visit (unlike some other venues, where they just did not seem to care about getting our business).

We had 200 people for a sit down dinner, and that was a comfortable fit including a good sized dance floor. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding dinner they'd ever had!

Thank you Shawna, Rafael, Caroline and the rest of the team for an amazing and elegant wedding!!

We were very satisfied with our wedding at the Commerce Club! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Everything we wanted was given and we could not have asked for more. I'm so glad we chose this venue and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fantastic event with a great view. Rafael was the best to work with!

This venue was perfect for the Rehearsal dinner. Margaret Burge, our event planner was a delight to work with.

This is a spectacular venue for a Rehearsal dinner. Our event planner Margaret Burge was fabulous. The dinner was absolutely delicious! Kudos to the chef. The view is glorious at sunset.

Exceptional venue. It was perfect for a small intimate wedding. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. They were able to create a custom menu to fit our cultural background and make changes that we requested along the way. The food was exceptional and our guests are still commenting on it. Rafael was quite a joy to work with. He was very enthusiastic, had lots of ideas and was very accommodating.

This venue is amazing. If you want an upscale, classic, city environment this is the place. The views of the Atlanta skyline are what sold it. The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. It certainly isn't one of the cheaper venues but it was worth every penny.

The location is beautiful. The food was on point. The chef had a variety of options, all of which were extremely delicious. We had the opportunity to sample the options ahead of time and everything was so amazingly good, it was difficult narrowing down our selections. This is not your typical hotel /country club menu, which generally lack flavor and imgaination. Rafael Mendoza, our coordinator, was sweet and funny and very accommodating. The service was professional and well coordinated. I highly reccomend this venue for whatever big event you might be celebrating.

The Commerce Club is so beautiful, classy, sophisticated, and unique without feeling stuffy/old fashioned like some of the ballroom venues we visited. We received a lot of information on packages, etc. right away which was great! They has in-house catering which initially I was hesitant about because we really cared about our wedding food and wouldn't have a food tasting until after booking, but the food was hands down the best food I've had at a wedding. Our reception dinner was a nice salad, steak and grouper entree, and wedding cake for dessert. I would say the food was above average if we would have been at a nice restaurant, and excellent considering they were making it x150 for the wedding! The cocktail hour appetizers were AMAZING, wedding or not! We had crabcakes and beef teriyaki skewers. We actually wanted a different kind of beef appetizer for the cocktail hour so I'm not sure if they got it mixed up (it was in writing in emails and the contract), but they never communicated to us that it was being changed. Not a big deal, it was still yummy, but this was just one of quite a few examples of communication issues I encountered with the Commerce Club. It would take multiple emails and voicemails to get answers to simple questions like, "Can you put blackberries in the champagne flutes?" and "Do you offer both round and square tables?" I also had to ask multiple times for a copy of the reception layout with the floorplan and tables laid out, and when I sent back my revisions about 10 days before the wedding, I actually never got a finalized copy. They were very flexible about visiting the CC whenever I needed to. The wedding itself was amazing - and the waitstaff was phenomenal! They made us feel like royalty, especially Italo (head of waitstaff for private events)! Our guests loved the views and the atmosphere, and despite the communication issues I would absolutely choose the Commerce Club again and again!

The venue is incredible! If you want to impress your guests, this is the place. The food was incredible. The staff was excellent. I had two gripes: the platform for the wedding ceremony was not what we expected and had to be removed (but I was still charged). When we showed up for rehearsal, we were not able to rehearse in the space where the ceremony was to be held, which made the rehearsal awkward. Other than that, everything was awesome! Great memories for life!

Overall we had a nice time having our wedding there. We were a bit upset with Tijuana Plant. Though she was friendly with us, there were several times where we specifically asked if our wedding would include a certain thing and she would say "absolutely yes", then later on she would deny ever saying such things to us. For example, on our first day there when we first met, as she was telling me the wonderful things that your facility offers, I asked "Does this include free parking for my guests, or is this separate?" And she said "absolutely yes, it's included and free". The night before my wedding, I met up with her to review the plan for our big day and when I asked again about parking, she denied ever saying such things to me, and my wife was present during both interactions. I was so upset I honestly was going to cancel the entire wedding there, but luckily her replacement was very friendly with us and he gave us the parking. There were other moments too, but that one specific time really put a mark in my head forever. I will still recommend others to have a wedding there, but probably not with Tijuana.

Our wedding was beautiful, but we ran into a few trouble spots - a delay in scheduling the food tasting for the reception, a delay in opening the venue for the groom and outside vendors caused stress and a shortage of set-up time for the wedding planner. This caused a lot of undue stress! This delay also decreased our time for pre-wedding photos. We also experienced an unauthorized change in the reception floor plan, this caused confusion and yet another delay in the program.

I'm not sure that we received the highest level of professionalism that I would expect from an establishment of this caliber. However,
the food and bar was outstanding and we enjoyed our special day nonetheless.
