The best day of our lives
We had the wedding of our dreams at Baywood! This venue is easily the most gorgeous venue you will come across in the area. The staff are absolutely WONDERFUL (shoutout to my girls Sara and Alexia!) and super organized. They made sure our day ran SO smoothly, I didn't even have to think! The food was phenomenal, the views are stunning, and the florals were gorgeous. I wouldn't change a single thing about this day. I wish I could relive it all over again!

I’m speechless - everything was perfect
We worked with Baywood for a year planning our October wedding. The entire team is responsive, friendly, professional and very passionate about what they do. Our meetings were prompt, they were always well prepared, and they answered any and all questions we have. However, the wedding day is what was really so impressive about this team. They handled absolutely EVERYTHING from start to finish. They gave our bridal party a contact to reach out to with questions/concerns so that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They will be to your room within minutes if you need anything. They truly make the entire day an absolute BREEZE so that you can enjoy every single moment. I’ve never been so pleased with services! Couldn’t possibly recommend this gorgeous venue or incredible team enough.

Choose baywood
I cannot put into words how glad I am that my husband and I chose to get married at Baywood. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning (with little to no effort), but the staff could not have been any better. From the chefs to the florists to the event coordinators, everyone we interacted with treated us like we knew them and they went above and beyond for us.
We were lucky enough to have Lauren Biddle as our coordinator and if I could go back I'd want her every time. The first time we spoke on the phone, we clicked immediately to the point where it felt like I had a close friend there on my wedding day. I truly could not have imagined my day without her! Things went wrong with other vendors (unrelated to Baywood) and she was there to fix it in whatever way she could and she provided such a comfort to me.
If you're thinking about getting married here, do it.

Wonderful experience!!
We got married here last August, and we cannot say enough amazing things about Baywood!! The entire staff was so friendly, accommodating, and professional. Kelsey and Lauren were amazing coordinators and made the process so easy and care-free! We did not have the need to hire a separate wedding planner. And David and his assistant Laura did a wonderful job with the florals! The hanging installation was so beautiful. Our day was perfect, even though it rained most of the day. We have gotten so many compliments from our wedding guests about the experience, food, and setting! We highly recommend Baywood for anyone who wants to get married in the SoDel area!!

Incredible Wedding Experience
WOW is all I can say about the team at Baywood. We knew from the moment we toured the grounds that we wanted to get married at here. The level of organization and professionalism from start to finish was incredible. And the spaces are picturesque and perfect, practically no decorations were needed outside because it is so beautiful all the time. We got married during hurricane Ian, and even though we were lucky to catch a break in the weather, Baywood offered us a great Rain Plan to keep my nerves at ease. We cannot recommend Lauren and her team enough! Thank you Baywood for making our wedding dreams come true!

I want to thank Rachael, Lauren, Jessica, and the wonderful staff at Baywood Greens for helping to make my wedding weekend a memorable event for all who attended. My hopes of bringing both families together in a beautiful, romantic, elegant setting came true on our wedding weekend, due to the dedication and professionalism of the Baywood Staff. Throughout the entire planning process, they were there to lend their guidance and support. COVID has been tough on all of us but I had zero stress when planning this wedding and I can thank them for that. The wedding day…PERFECT! I did not get a chance to see the room yet and the staff grabbed me from cocktail hour to see it for the first time by myself. I was in tears the moment I stepped in that door. Lights were dimmed, candles lit, pink and white flowers surrounding the room with gold accents. I felt like a queen walking into her palace. Jess CRUSHED IT with the flowers and the rest of the staff did an amazing job arranging all of my decor. From the arrival for our first look, to the exchange of wedding vows in the ceremony garden, to the amazing hors d’oeuvres and dinner buffet at the reception -- every detail came together for a dream-come-true wedding. Thanks again to everyone at Baywood Greens for giving us these wonderful memories. Every bride deserves a dream wedding and Baywood is the perfect place to make that happen.

Best Day Ever!
Everything about my wedding day at Baywood Greens was perfect! So much so that I didn’t want the night to end and told people I could go back and live through the entire day again! I loved working with Rachael and her team throughout the whole wedding planning process. They are responsive to emails and requests and do everything in their power to make your wedding day exactly how you want it. They took all of my inspiration pictures and turned them into reality. Their florist Jess creates breathtaking table arrangements and bouquets. I was in love with mine! Having an in-house florist makes the entire planning process smoother as she is a part of the planning meetings and incorporates the whole look (palettes, linens, tablescapes) into your floral vision. The menu options are both diverse and delicious. The team even nailed my signature drink which they originally didn’t think was possible. In addition to helping you create your vision, they contact your vendors, and run your entire wedding day start to finish. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was able to just be present and enjoy myself. The grounds are gorgeous and create the perfect backdrop for pictures. I had so many compliments about the entire day!

The BEST wedding venue
I can not recommend Baywood enough. If you want a DREAM wedding I highly recommend you look here. They provide everything you need to have the most perfect wedding. All the wedding coordinators there are amazing and listen to your vision and execute it. The wedding day was seamless because of their great work. Planning a wedding with Baywood is so so easy because they provide EVERYTHING you need, from flowers to decor to wedding planners, food and drinks. The very best!
We will be celebrating our one year anniversary this Monday, Oct 19! We had the absolute best day ever at Baywood and it was everything we could have imagined! We were only engaged 5 months prior to getting married and the Baywood staff made all the planning and decision making go so smooth and took a lot off our plate. Beautiful venue with a multitude of services!
We got married in Sept 2019 and we loved the venue! They cover a lot of services (flowers, food, linen, tableware, ceremony music DJ, contacting vendors to coordinate day of, setting up room/ceremony, etc) so we didn't have to look far for the services we wanted. The grounds of the venue are gorgeous so there isn't any extra flair needed for the wedding or pictures. The flowers are required through their venue and Shelby is very creative & helps bring your vision to life. The ceremony music was easy to coordinate and work with for our unique requests. The staff was very friendly and quickly answered any questions throughout the process, helping to iron out any details along the way. We rented houses through the property which we loved for our parties and family members, it really brought everyone together and was super fun (although they are near residents so keep that in mind). We had our rehearsal dinner on the patio at the Clubhouse and the food, drinks, and dinner service was great; the rehearsal was well organized by the coordinators which made the ceremony that much better.
There were only a few small things that could've been better but overall it was still a great experience. There were golfers on the course during our ceremony which had to be cropped out of pictures (we were promised their wouldn't be). We weren't told that the special flowers we requested for the grooms & fathers tuxes wouldn't be used until we saw them day of (not a huge deal but we were unsure if we paid for that or not bc the flowers invoice wasn't super specific & money was due before the wedding) and our specialized koozies (our favors) were only put out once (at the beginning of cocktail hour, not throughout the night as requested) so we were left with most of them to take home & hand out ourselves. Those few details aside, we had an the best day and Baywood did a great job of helping us make our day amazing. I am so happy we got married here and I am thankful for all of their hard work!

The absolute best venue I could've ever had!
I was scheduled to get married April 24th but was cancelled due to COVID. We ended up getting married July 24th instead. In between there was massive confusion and a lot of changing plans. NEVER did Baywood and the ladies there make me feel like we were by ourselves in this process. I have heard nightmares from friends getting married about not being able to cancel with a refund, being forced to delay their wedding until 2021 because they were not comfortable getting married during COVID, couldn't have the wedding they wanted and were not being offered even a partial refund. We had to scale back our ceremony and ditch our reception but we both had exactly what we wanted. Our day and entire experience was beautiful and we are so very grateful.

Where to even begin - my dream wedding venue come to life!!
I can never say enough great things about the Baywood team. The most gorgeous venue filled with beautiful flowers, an unforgettable ceremony space (with stairs to make an awesome grand entrance as a bride), the best food, and the friendliest staff.
My mom & I were the kind of people to plan every single detail of the wedding weekend, and Rachael and her team were so happy to help and bring our vision to life. Even through COVID changes, the team worked hard to still make our wedding happen, and it went flawlessly.

Best Wedding Ever!
My daughter was recently married at Baywood and it was fantastic! From the moment we visited the venue, had dinner, met the wedding team, tasted the food, met with Shelby the florist, picked linens etc, to the day of the wedding everyone and everything was just perfect. The wedding team is the best! They responded to all our questions, emails, and made all of the little details my daughter wanted come to life. The grounds are beautiful and the food was just delicious. All of the guests were so impressed with the service, food and how nice the staff was. Look no further for the best wedding venue.

A day we will never forget!
There is so much I can say about baywood... Baywood is AMAZING. Racheal answered my 10 million questions from day one to literally minutes before the ceremony. The day before the wedding our flower girl decided she wanted to throw flowers & Shelby and Rachael made it happen with no questions asked. From the moment we arrived at Baywood we felt like we were at a resort. The community is beautiful, the restaurant itself is stunning & the food & drinks I will never forget. They helped make my wedding look like a million dollars. To this day people can’t believe the price we paid🤩 Baywood has so much decor on site that all we had to bring was signage that we wanted & our wedding favors. Baywood does EVERYTHING. And Shelby the on site florist... she makes dreams come true. I felt like my ideas were insane (mermaids hanging from the ceiling). Shelby made it happen no questions asked!
The scenery for pictures.... you can’t beat it, your pictures will come out stunning. I cannot recommend Baywood enough.

Amazing venue, perfect coordinators
Baywood is the dream venue, and has the most beautiful views. We fell in love with it as soon as we visited, but the staff was by far the greatest thing about Baywood Greens. They provide 4 amazing women to help the day go exactly as you envision, always keeping an open mind and providing suggestions on how to turn your dreams into a reality. They are SO sweet, easy to work with, and made the entire day run so seamlessly. Food was amazing, day was gorgeous, and the staff made our wedding a fairytale.

Wonderful!
We got married on July 20, 2019 at Baywood Greens. The wedding ceremony was in the Garden, followed by a cocktail hour (inside in the ballroom due to the heat) and Dinner was served in the Ballroom. The staff drove us all over the grounds in golf carts to take photos for the entire afternoon. We finished the weekend with a brunch on the Veranda Sunday morning. The staff at Baywood were phenomenal. Rachel, Stephanie, Stephanie and Shelby take care of every detail. Shelby, the florist on staff at Baywood is a miracle worker, the flowers looked amazing at the ceremony, reception, and brunch (even with a heat index of 118)! I asked Shelby for peonies in my bouquet for a wedding at the end of July and she delivered. Another thing they do at Baywood is they give you a huge packet of recommended vendors, this makes planning a wedding incredibly easy.

The Best Place in Delaware to Be Married
It is easy to tell when you meet people who love what they do for a living. You can see it. More importantly, you can feel it. Our wedding at Baywood Greens Clubhouse was nothing short of magical. An easy choice for location because of its overwhelming landscape, painted with beautiful rows, and clusters of radiant floral arrangements that lined the entrances and surrounded the plush fringe and putting greens nearby. The entire property is meticulously kept. A vibrant scene for the most beautiful golf course in Delaware could only be matched with a most vibrant ensemble of talented women who represented Baywood and our wedding day to the fullest!
Rachael, Stephanie K, Stephanie N, and Shelby, covered every detail of our expectations with resolute communication and action. Each are highly organized and thorough, but just as important, genuinely kind, and mindful of what was meaningful to us. We relied on their experience to guide us through the planning process, which was more like a casual conversation among friends and we appreciate that. Our Baywood team was everywhere we needed them, and when we needed them. Between prompt email responses, to pinning boutonnieres on tuxedos, they did it all with professionalism and care. Simply said, our ceremony and reception was perfect, and all the food was outstanding! Thank you, and your entire staff so much for taking great care of my new wife and me!

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue or day!
My fiancé and I selected the beautiful Clubhouse at Baywood in Millsboro, DE as the venue for our June 1, 2019 wedding based on the reviews and of course, the incredible grounds. The beautifully manicured gardens, water features, and surrounding golf course provided an incredible backdrop for such an important occasion. But it was the attention we received from our wedding coordinator Rachael B. and her colleagues Stephanie K., Stephanie N., and Shelby P., Baywood`s florist that made our wedding special. We knew that there would be challenges as none of us lived in Delaware. Rachael and her team were wonderful to work with, setting up planning appointments which accommodated our travel from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. They were responsive to every email and phone call. We rented a Baywood townhouse so my bridesmaids and I could get ready together. It was one of the smartest decisions we made! My hair and makeup artists came right to the house. Baywood took me to meet my fiancé for our first reveal via a golf cart, and then took the bridesmaids (and parents) to a beautiful site perfect for wedding party photos. The ceremony area was picturesque with flowers and breezy fabric draped over the wedding arbor. The ballroom was beautifully set with fabulous centerpieces adorning the tables - and some suspended from the ceiling! The service and food were wonderful and the music fun. All of the Baywood staff who worked on our reception made sure that everything went smoothly making our day fun and easy to enjoy! We are so grateful for everyone who made our day perfect and gave us wonderful memories to look back on!

The best wedding venue in Delaware
Rachael and her staff provided outstanding service to make our wedding day an excellent day. The reception had a very calm atmosphere because her staff pays close attention to every detail so there was nothing to worry about. Everything flowed smoothly. We had a buffet dinner which included turkey. Everyone couldn't stop complementing the taste and service. Even the left over were good. I would recommend their venue to anyone. I am trying to get my niece to have her wedding there.

Amazing Wedding Venue
Our daughter got married Jun 8, 2019 at Baywood Greens. It was a fairy tale wedding. We rented the house and townhouses that are available on the property. The rehearsal dinner was held in the restaurant on Friday night, the wedding ceremony in the Garden, followed by a cocktail hour on the Veranda. Dinner was served in the Ballroom. We finished the weekend with a brunch on the Veranda Sunday morning. The staff at Baywood were phenomenal. Raechel B., Stephanie K. and Stephanie N. attended to every detail both prior to the event and during the event. Thanks to Shelby P., the florist at Baywood, the flowers looked amazing at the rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and brunch! Chef Ryan served a perfect filet and the crab cakes were superb. Debbie W. was so helpful getting everyone checked into the townhouses and the bartenders kept the cocktails and Shirley Temples flowing. Blue Label Band kept the dance floor packed until it all ended with a Sparkler Send-off. Thank you to everyone who made it so memorable!

Amazing Experience at Baywood
I got married on 4/27/19 at the Clubhouse at Baywood and it was amazing. We booked our wedding about a year in advance, and the Rachael and her team made the planning process feel so seamless and stress-free from start to finish. On paper, Baywood looks a bit expensive, but when you take into account that the venue comes with a built-in planner and not one but FOUR coordinators on site the day of the wedding, it is a great value. I made a few last minute changes to my floral requests, and Shelby pulled everything together without a hitch. The flowers were so beautiful, especially my bouquet! In the days leading up to the big day, the coordinators called all my vendors to verify details, taking that task off of my plate. Day of, the coordinators delivered the bouquets to my rental house, then drove me, the groom, and the wedding party to the photo location(s) in the golf cart. It was so much fun! The food, drinks, and decorations were all perfect. I really can't say enough good things about Baywood. Wouldn't change a thing!

Baywood Made Our Day PERFECT
Having our wedding at Baywood Greens is easily the best decision we've ever made. They took care of everything and helped to make the planning process as stress free as possible. Rachael and her team felt like supportive friends throughout all of our planning meetings and, of course, on the big day. Their florist Shelby was able to execute my vision for the day perfectly, working within our budget to ensure that our day was beyond beautiful. The food was fantastic, and Baywood's recommended list of vendors made everything truly seamless. Many of our guests said our wedding was the best they've ever attended and I know we have the awesome team at Baywood to thank for that!

I couldn't have been happier that we picked Baywood! Both Rachael and Dani were amazing and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! They worked directly with our vendors so that I didn't have to answer a phone call all day. It was about as stress free as your wedding day can be. I also have to give a special thank you to the florist, Shelby. Since you are required to use their florist, you may be hesitant, but don't be!!! She listened to all of my requests and executed perfectly. She was there on the day of to deliver flowers and she even stayed during photos to make sure our flowers were in water whenever they could be. She really went above and beyond for her role as a florist. Thanks again Baywood for making our day so special. 100% recommend.

The Clubhouse at Baywood Greens is a beautiful venue! The coordinators there did a fantastic job working with us to make our day perfect! On the day of the wedding, they were quick to come up with an alternative plan for our ceremony location due to rain, and we are so thankful for their flexibility and hard work. The set up of the ballroom for our reception was gorgeous and we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. The Clubhouse at Baywood will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We had an amazing wedding at Baywood! The grounds are what first brought us to this venue, but we stayed for the food and the service. Sarah and Rachel are fantastic at making everything smooth and easy for us and our families. Since we chose not to have a first look, they made sure my husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony but still were able to take photos with our wedding party groups beforehand. My family rented a couple of houses in the Baywood community for us to stay in before the wedding, and are glad we did.
We could not have wished for a better wedding day! Thank you Sarah, Rachel, and all the Baywood clubhouse staff for making it everything we imagined.

We had our daughters dream wedding at Baywood Greens. Sarah Dickinson and Rachel Bain are an amazing team! From the first meeting in choosing the venue to the sparkler exit at the end of the PERFECT wedding and reception we could not have been more pleased. They were always responsive, easy to communicate with and very supportive in the wedding planning process. We very much appreciated them and their expertise in wedding planning. The venue is gorgeous, the food is delicious, everything was done to perfection.

Sarah, Rachel and the team at Baywood were amazing!!! When we first selected Baywood there were some things we didn't love. We struggled a bit planning in the beginning but a few months in Baywood made a ton of changes to the staff and renovated the club house. This made the world of difference!! We could not have been in better hands with Sarah and Rachel and felt so special and like they truly cared about making our day a success. We had a tented reception outside of the clubhouse and our guests were in awe of how beautiful it was. We also received so many compliments on the food. My Dad - an Italian who LOVES to eat - said the Filet Mignon was the best Filet Mignon he's ever had. We also added a lot of upgrades to the cocktail hour menu and the food and way they set it all up was just gorgeous. Our crush bar was out of this world too. We HIGHLY recommend Baywood. The venue is stunning and the team is top notch. Our wedding was a dream come true.

Obviously, I am just repeating everything that people have said below--everything that they have said is true. Baywood made the entire wedding process so incredibly easy from start to finish. I never even had to think about timing or when I needed to start doing things, because Baywood (specifically Reinie) would remind me. They are so organized and they truly know what they are doing. They are professional while also truly showing excitement for the wedding--I felt that they really wanted us to have a good, memorable time. From start to finish, it was a seamless process. I just needed to tell them what I wanted and they took care of the rest. For the day of, they were wonderful. The ONLY set back is that they are very strict about meal choices, so make sure you ask your guests what meal they specifically want on their RSVPs. The groom got the wrong meal for his dinner, and when he asked for what he had originally ordered, the waitress was about to argue with him and tell him he couldn't change his order until she realized that she had gotten the order wrong initially. Make sure that if multiple people are RSVP'ing, that they each initial what they want for their meal. That was the only hiccup in the whole process, and it can be headed off by a clear RSVP note. Otherwise, the entire process was extremely smooth and I would 100% do it all over again with Baywood!

We worked closely with Reinie and Lindsay while planning the wedding of our dreams. I would send them about 2 emails a week, and they were always so quick to respond and answer any and all questions that I had. When it came to the day of the wedding, it poured, and anyone who is getting married at Baywood Greens does NOT want rain on their wedding day. Together, they came up with a plan B, and made my wedding everything and more it could have been. Once the ceremony was over, we had literally the BEST night of our lives at the reception. Everyone said this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, and the venue was absolutely amazing. Everything fell into place in the end, and we want to get married there again! (Except this time with the sun out :) ) Thank you so much for giving us the wedding of our dreams.

We have been coming to Fish On for years and knew we wanted to have them cater our wedding in Lewes, DE. Originally, we were going to have our wedding at Fish On the restaurant but changed venues. Baywood was always my dream location for my wedding, but these ladies far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding and the day of went so smoothly. Baywood greens is a hidden gem tucked away in the outskirts of rehoboth beach delaware. The venue looks like you're part of a destination wedding! My husband and I saw Baywood Greens during the middle of winter. Despite not seeing the lush flowers, we fell in love. We loved working with Natalia and Lauren. Both were so professional and answered all my questions in a timely manner. They were helpful and put my mind at ease. Linda was also great to work with on my centerpieces. She knew the flowers well and accommodated my ever changing ideas. The day of the wedding was amazing. The place was blooming with such lush and beautiful plants. Our family and friends were quite amazed and wondered how we ever found such a great place. The location was fantastic. It was close to the beach. The food was superb. Our family and friends said it was probably the best wedding food that they ever had. The staff was so friendly and so professional. My husband and I were so happy that we picked this place for our big day. No regrets. I highly recommend having your wedding at the Baywood Greens Golf Club. The atmosphere and staff are completely worth it.

Baywood Greens speaks for itself with there stunning views and beautiful landscape but Natalia and Lauren made sure the day/evening ran smoothly. Both of them are very quick to respond to emails and phone calls with questions.
Linda, the florist did a great job and really took the time to understand my vision and bring it to life.

After months of looking for the perfect venue, we went to Baywoods and it was love at first sight. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Working with the staff ( Natalie, Lauren, Linda) made our wedding planning so easy. They were very responsive when I had a question and gave me the best planning tools to use. My husband and I worked with Linda on flowers and centerpieces, we gave ideas she gave ideas and we came up with perfection. Linda was very flexible with me when I had concerns about centerpieces, which was greatly appreciated. My husbands main concern was "Is the food going to be good", well it was better than good, it was amazing and our guest are still talking about it. There is so much I can say about Baywoods, I'm so thankful we chose this venue for our special day. The scenery was breathtaking inside and out and the staff was awesome. Our guest keep saying "how did you find this place", my family is from the area and we would ride pass but to turn in and actually see it, WOW Amazing!!! Me and my husband looked at several places in PA for that perfect venue to have our outdoors wedding with beautiful reception inside on site. We ended up ready to settle with one until I looked at one more place baywood greens in pictures the place looked amazing so we had to give it a chance! I contacted Natalia she was amazing with helping us with all our answers! We drove three hours to check out baywood and it was breath taken flowers everywhere! We had to set our date! On July 12th our day was finally here the weather was nothing but rain all day with floods everywhere Natalia made sure there was nothing to worry about everything will be perfect she said. At 5:30 she gave us the final choice to have it outside while it was still raining and our aisle was flooded! We had to have our dream wedding outside! The baywood team all did Amazing shock vacuum up all the water on my walk way! We started our wedding and the rain had stopped birds were chirping and sun shinning through! It was a true dream come true and if it wasn't for Natalia and her team making sure everything went the way we had planned we would of pushed it inside.

The entire staff at Baywood was magnificent to work with. Natalia and Lauren especially made our experience from the beginning of planning our wedding so wonderful. We felt so taken care of and any questions we had along the way were answered so timely and with such positivity and there was always a friend there to help us!
We were so happy with the way the day turned out, everything was on time since the entire staff was so attentive and all of the planning down to the minute gave us such peace of mind that things would go on without a hitch!
The venue is absolutely stunning, grounds are gorgeous, the ceremony space and cocktail hour outside provided exactly the charming, romantic and flower filled environment we wanted. The ballroom space and layout was perfect, with our sweetheart table, dance floor in the middle, and bar area to the side with amazing views of the golf course.
All of the food was amazing, from the coconut shrimp, to mini grilled cheese with tomato bisque, to the filet cooked to perfection. Everyone raved about the food and loved that we were able to offer signature drinks in addition to our open bar package to personalize our event even more with that special touch.
Linda who handled and arranged all of our flowers was so amazing and talented and was so flexible to give us options to work within our budget. Having a florist on staff to handle that portion of our wedding was so amazing and also gave us peace of mind that our bouquets and all other floral arrangements would be done to perfection, and they were amazing! We absolutely loved the special and unique flower wand Linda created for our flower girl, so cute!
We would definitely recommend Baywood to any couple looking for a complete wedding experience, with amazing wedding planners. We cannot wait to return to the clubhouse to recreate our wedding reception meal and enjoy the gorgeous views and remember our special day.

My wedding day was perfect; everything I had dreamed of and more at Baywood Greens. The venue is just beautiful. Our photographers took us around the grounds for pictures and they all came out beautiful. I found that the fact that Baywood does the flowers to be a huge plus. Baywood created my centerpieces and table decorations. The event planners were fantastic to work with! They answered all my questions and helped me to stay organized through the planning. They made the day of the wedding run smoothly and effortlessly. I was very please with every aspect of Baywood Greens.

Everyone and everything at Baywood was phenomenal. Our wedding day was absolute perfection. Any curve balls that were thrown at the events department were quickly, quietly, and efficiently handled. Natalia Ovide, director of events at Baywood, put on an incredible event.
The food was delicious, service was flawless, and the venue is breathtaking in its beauty!
If I could do it all over again, I would not even hesitate to plan with Baywood again. They made our day a fairytale to remember.

This site was PERFECT! They provide coordiators, flowers, and food/drink which you are required to use but it is SO worth it. Everything they provided was amazing and beautiful. Everyone at our wedding was so impressed. I was able to contact them at any time & Lauren/Natalia are miracle workers. I cant say enough good things about Baywood.

From the very start Natalia and Lauren were there for me and all of our wedding needs. It took us two years to plan our wedding, and Lauren and Natalia never missed a beat. They were so quick to respond back to my MANY emails with all of my questions. They helped me stay on top of everything, and gave me great advice when I needed it. They always made my husband and I feel comfortable talking to them, and asking them questions. On the day of our wedding, I didnt have a care in the world because I knew Lauren and Natalia would make sure our day was perfect, and it was! They coordinated the ceremony for us, and made sure every last detail of our reception was how we wanted it to be. All of the staff at Baywood were amazing, including their wonderful florist (Linda), their key boardist (Ken), the bartenders, and caterers. Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives, and Lauren and Natalia made sure it was nothing less! I cant thank them enough for being there for us, and making our day so memorable.

Baywood Greens was the perfect venue for my wedding reception! Lauren and Natalia, the event coordinators, were absolutely wonderful! No request was too much for them to handle. My e-mails and questions were addressed quickly and they were constanlty providing me with suggestions and options, which I truly appreciated! They really took the stress and worries out of my hands and allowed me to have the perfect wedding day! I am still receiving compliments from my guests about how fantastic the food and service was at our reception. The servers and bartenders were friendly and very professional. And it didn't stop when the dinner was over; our server continued to bring us drinks and make sure that we were well taken care of throughout the evening as we were mingling with our guests. The breathtaking scenery at Baywood provided us with the most beautiful wedding pictures! The entire property is filled with a variety of lush backgrounds that we were able to use for photos and the best part was that staff chauffeured us around so that I didn't have to walk too far in my heels and wedding dress! It was the perfect location for our wedding and I would recommend Baywood Greens 100%!

My husband and I got married at Baywood Greens in September 2009. We could not have been more happy with our decision to hold our special day there. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, we were taken aback by how beautiful the grounds were. We've received so many compliments about how lovely our wedding was - the flowers and impeccable landscaping were so lovely and made for great pictures! Lauren Hanna and Natalia Ovide were so wonderful to work with - very responsive, creative, helpful, and FUN! We feel we got a great value and were 100% satisfied with everything. You will not be disappointed if you choose to have your wedding at Baywood. Trust me :)

Baywood allowed me to have the wedding reception of my dreams! They did everything they could to keep me happy and to give me the best day of my life! The staff, down to our waitress that day are simply the finest. They attended to our every need and if a problem ever rose up I never even knew about it! Not to mention it is one of the most beautiful places one could ever get married at! I highly recommend it to any bride marrying down at the Delaware beaches. I couldn't have been happier!

The perfect wedding venue!
I cannot say enough good things about Baywood and the event team! After working in wedding catering for many years, I was particular about the venue, staff, catering options, and organization for my own wedding. Starting with my initial conversations with Ali, I felt confident that Baywood would be the right venue to bring my vision to life and they did not disappoint. We worked with Lauren throughout the planning process, alongside Laura from the floral team, the chefs, and pastry team. They have an organized, straightforward process to get each couple from planning to execution, starting about nine months or so before the event (though you should book your date as soon as possible!). You will have to use their floral, catering and catering rentals but have your choice of other vendors, though they do provide recommendations. I came to the team with my vision from Pinterest/Instagram and they really made it happen! The team are all very knowledgeable and can offer guidance when stuck. Lauren was on vacation the week leading up to our wedding and was still checking in – while we don’t condone that 😉, it made us feel so cared for! For the actual wedding day, they have a handful of the team on hand to greet your other vendors and make sure the day runs smoothly. You get a bridal/groom suite attendant to check in on you in addition to the event team. Then, the catering staff was so nice & made the reception portion run smoothly. The food, cake and desserts were all done by Baywood and tasted delicious! My family & friends could not stop talking about the hospitality the whole evening & the days following! I honestly could not recommend Baywood enough!!! If you are looking to get married in Southern Delaware, this is the place to do it. Thank you Baywood team for bringing our vision to life and making our way day as special as we could have ever wanted!

All inclusive, very organized venue with day off wedding planners included! Pretty much everything was required to be purchased or rented with the venue like flowers, food, table clothes etc. Floral centerpieces were definitely overpriced. Centerpieces start at $75 each which includes candles greenery and a few flowers all of which is not permitted to be taken home with guests like at most other venues. Anything other than standard black/white table clothes and napkins had to be rented and some table clothes were $200 each. The chairs they initially provided were mustard yellow and they suggested we rent chairs for $8.50 each which seemed a little steep. Thankfully they upgraded their chairs slightly just before our wedding. The wedding planners were great and allowed us to adjust the headcount after the deadline due to a few guests having covid. They also served my husband and I drinks the entire time which was a nice touch! They were so helpful and appreciated the day of and helped everything go smoothly! They recently updated the “getting ready room” and it is gorgeous! See pics below of me in my dress that showcase this room. We rented houses at Baywood to stay at and get ready in and I highly recommend that. Overall, we are very happy with everything and our decision to chose Baywood! My parents, who payed for everything, were just a little sticker shocked by some of the things mentioned above.

Dream Venue For Any Wedding
Baywood has an incredible team who really knows their stuff. From the kitchen, to the planning team, and their on-site florist, all the services they offer are top notch. They made planning our dream wedding very easy and stress-free especially during this pandemic. The grounds made for the most beautiful pictures and outdoor ceremony and the ballroom is perfect for any style wedding. We were lucky to have them as part of our big day!

Having planned our wedding from another state, the team at Baywood made the process so easy for us. They were extremely flexible through the planning process. Its a beautiful venue and ballroom for a wedding reception. The food, drinks and service were excellent and they kept the reception moving on schedule. Their florist was very pleasant to work with and created breathtaking table arrangements and bouquets - they were even better than what we had imagined. The team was so helpful throughout the evening, checking in with us to make sure the evening was everything we hoped for.

We were married at Baywood on October 18th and we had an absolutely beautiful day!! Natalia is a dream to work with she ensured that everything was setup and followed as it should thru our ceremony and reception. I was never worried or concerned during the whole planning process, she made it seamless. Also, Linda does beautiful work on the flowers. I absolutely loved my flowers, they were perfect. Both of them are extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. Baywood is a beautiful place and these ladies make it a even better place. Baywood has the most beautiful views - the golf course is beautiful, the flowers are gorgeous, the clubhouse is amazing! The staff was extremely attentive and helpful...they catered to our needs, we forgot to add 2 people as vegetarians and they were totally accomodating. The best part was that the flowers were already done for the outdoors and they are always done, so that saved money on ceremony flowers!

This was a lifetime dream for the bride to get married at Baywood Greens. The day went smoothly, with a few hiccups. Due to the high winds we moved our sand ceremony inside. I would have been very upset if it broke in the wind. I want to go back and relive this day all over again. Thankful for the pictures we can do this. Thankful for the girls making our day go smoothly, and keeping the stress off of our plate for the day. Beautiful venue!

We had an amazing wedding at Baywood Greens! The events team, led by Reinie, is SPECTACULAR. They made us feel so special and were so helpful and organized. A month later, our guests are still raving about the service and the beautiful venue (and views!). We have nothing but gratitude for the team at Baywood for making our day so brilliant. The only thing that knocked this place down to a 4.5 for me is that I did not enjoy my meal very much. But I have to say, the food is brilliant in the restaurant and I think the problem with our meals is that dinner was delayed so things were served later than the kitchen expected. We had good feedback from guests about the appetizers and London broil dinner though! For brides and grooms on a budget, we felt our wedding was very good value for money because of how glamorous the venue is. But a word of caution is that little additions and extras do add up if you're not careful. We HIGHLY recommend Baywood as a venue - it's honestly the best in the area!

Baywood created our dream wedding. Although they did not have a ton of availability in 2022 and had our wedding in November, they still did an amazing job. From the moment we had our first meeting with them to our wedding day, the venue paid close attention to our needs and wants for our wedding. All of our guests have complimented on how beautiful the venue is and the service that was performed. The food at the wedding was the best food I had at a wedding.

The venue was beautiful, however, at various times we felt as though the staff were unprofessional. We also did not appreciate being accused of "destroying property" after we spent thousands and thousands of dollars on our wedding at Baywood. The "destruction of property" was probably a $30 fix that left us with a very bad taste in our mouths of Baywood. Additionally, having Baywood email us while we were on our honeymoon to tell us this was very distasteful and poor judgement. Further, Natalia, knew that we were on our honeymoon.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and planning was fairly stress free. Responses could have been quicker, but we are a laid back couple and didn't mind it so much as long as we were eventually answered. Linda did an amazing job and the flowers were exactly what we wanted! Natalia was wonderful on the day of the event and helped us with last minute issues and made sure the day went smoothly- to a point. There were only a couple disasters on the day of the wedding. For starters, I specifically made sure all vendors involved knew that I did not want to be seen by our guests prior to the wedding and especially did not want to be seen by my future husband before the ceremony! However, after the bridal party photographs were taken outside, we rushed back to the dressing room only to find the majority of the guests milling around the dressing room doors. Natalia did her best to shoo them away and hide me- but the damage was done. (Granted this is mainly the photographer's fault for taking me late for the photos, but Baywood did recommend them). Next, my girls and I headed out for the ceremony. As I exited the dressing room, Kevin (the Baywood staff member with the groomsmen) brings out my fiance who then sees me! The one thing I specifically did not want to happen before our ceremony. It was so disappointing and I felt like the day was ruined :( I'm still upset when I think back on this as we did NOT want a first look and that should have been honored. When we discussed Kevin's unprofessionalism with Baywood later, their response was "Kevin is awesome". I think not. Anyway, we attempted to recover and ended up having a gorgeous wedding day and a great time! Only other complaint is that Baywood staff started cleaning up (removing centerpieces/tables) before the reception was even over. Overall, great location for a wedding, great florist, and great food, but the staff leave something to be desired.

What a Huge disappointment!!!! Do not judge this book by its cover as it is absolutely gorgeous when you pull up, We were all so impressed with the grounds and polite professional coordinators, both Reinie and Taylor. Everything was great all year during the planning, the coordinators were quick to respond to all emails and phone calls we just knew we had chosen the right place for our daughters wedding. We had lunch there more than once and the tasting was excellent , the entrees and appetizers was so good . Unfortunately it was raining the day of the wedding so we had to move the ceremony inside, no problem and guess what, is was LOVELY we got all 164 guests in there it was just perfect. Baywoods assigned florist Linda is superb, the bouquets, the centerpieces the sporadic flowers in the ceremony and the reception hall were so pretty she did an excellent job
NOW we enter the ballroom, a complete disaster from the word GO, 2 star maybe!!!! Thank goodness for the bartenders and the music, so our guests didnt notice to much that this place is a "HOT MESS" as stated by the bride. Two weeks after the wedding and speaking to more of our guests we have found out so much more. The violinist and the pianist we hired for the cocktail hire had no idea where to set up, the line for the bar was about thirty to forty people deep, and there was only ONE server and a maintenance man. Short staffed and rude. Very few appetizers the bridal party got NONE, they served alcohol to the kids table, ages 10 to 16, there excuse was " we don't usually have a kids table" . Ten year old ,on THEIR strict BOE states " child is highly allergic to shellfish,nothing can come in contact with shellfish on his dish"-they tried to serve it to him twice. Thirty to forty minutes between salad and main entree, and steaks were rare and chicken was cold we have pictures.Grooms grandpa saw the staff box up our 500 dollar cupcakes and "haul ass" , his words not mine. Bridal party again NO CAKE.

I want to begin this review by saying that Baywoods is a beautiful place to have a wedding. My wedding was a weekend where there was a terrible storm, and Baywoods still put together a beautiful event. The room glowed, the food was lovely and everyone had a wonderful time.
However, I want to say something that often gets overlooked in these reviews but is so important as a bride. The wedding is not a repeat business (ideally), so when the staff treats you badly before your wedding and during your wedding you have little recourse because you can't really threaten to leave them as most venues are taken well in advance, and you cannot really threaten to not host your next wedding there, because, well, you hope you will only get married once. The only thing I can do is this. Write a review.
A month before my wedding the staff at Baywoods reached out to me about when we would be hosting our rehearsal. We had met with them earlier and agreed on either 4PM or 4:30PM but we could not decide. Baywoods then, without telling us, booked another wedding for Friday night before our wedding. We had to scramble to find another rehearsal venue at the last minute. Baywoods staff did not apologize and was instead disrespectful and patronizing to my family.
The day of the wedding it poured rain. Despite escorting me, the bride, indoors to the changing rooms. The Baywoods staff made my mother and best friend run outside in the rain to get to the changing rooms, advising them there was no indoor option-- even though I was sent through the indoor option. The staff at Baywoods was kind to me, the bride but treated my family horribly. They even pulled me and my new husband aside AT THE WEDDING to ask how we would be paying. Despite the fact we had paid every deposit on time and had arranged for final payment. When we booked Baywoods it was managed by another woman who we loved-- the new staff will still give you a beautiful wedding but makes it a difficult process.

I had emailed a woman about having my wedding at Baywood. She had given me the packages and buffet package which is what we were planning on having. She set up a time to visit. Baywoods is 2 hours from my house so I had to schedule a day that nothing else was going on. When we drove down there we fell in love with the place. It was absolutely stunning! Unfortanutely we didn't even stay 30 mins there because the woman neglected to tell me in the email that there was a $10,000 minimum just for the food. This was a huge disappointment since we were trying to keep the entire wedding under $10,000. Had we had that important piece of information we would have had our day wasted. Not only that, she also neglected to tell me in the email that if we were going to do a buffet style dinner they mandate a 5 hour open bar. Being that 95% of my guests don't drink, there's more money down the drain.
I was just completely upset with how that woman neglected to give us those important details but made us believe we could afford it and fall in love with it until we got there.
So if you're trying to find a beautiful place but trying to keep your costs to a minimum-- I WOULD NOT reccommend Baywood.

If we did not give you our food and beverage minimum during our initial conversation (phone or email), we give all costs during your tour so you have an idea of pricing and know there are no hidden costs up front. My apologies for making you take all of that time to come and visit us; however we do offer discounted packages on a Friday or a Sunday with a lower minimum. We're truly sorry that this did not meet your expectations and we wish you the best on planning your wedding!
