The Club at the strand was the perfect wedding venue. I booked our wedding (2/18/23) almost a year and a half ago. The venue did go through some turnover with the wedding coordinator position, but the best one was saved for last. Taylor, the current wedding coordinator and her assistant Jackie absolutely saved the day. She was responsive to me every time I needed anything while planning and was a huge help the day of. I would’ve been lost without her. The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone better, all of the Strand staff was so on top of everything, getting us whatever we needed and checking in constantly. The bartenders were so friendly and made great drinks! No detail was spared. My wedding day was beautiful because of this venue. As long as Taylor is there to guide you, don’t hesitate for a minute to book.

I can't express how thankful I am for Taylor & Jacki! It seems so rare to encounter people with high-quality work ethic and true passion for their job. It is very clear these ladies have that. If you are looking for a venue that genuinely cares about your wedding day and also has quality knowledge and expertise with logistics and aesthetics- THIS is your venue. Not to mention, the remodel is gorgeous! The ballroom & grille room are bright, clean, and new. A dream reception & cocktail hour space. Their outdoor botanical garden speaks for itself- the greenery in the background of our ceremony was perfect. My gratitude is never-ending. Hidden Gem!
Due to Hurricane Ian we had to move our venue no less than 4-weeks before our wedding, which was stressful even though I am a wedding planner. I called so many venues and finally found The Club at the Strand and was so thankful they had our date available. We worked with Vanessa who ensure we were getting exactly what we were getting from our other venue & some more! Vanessa was very easy to work with and helped us move quickly to change venues. On the day of the wedding she went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, even coming in early to let us into our getting ready rooms. The food was also exceptional and our guests are still talking about it. Although we had envisioned another venue, The Club at the Strand was actually the best choice for us. It matched our wedding vibe perfectly and was the best place for us to get married! We highly recommend this venue if you want a classic, stress free & beautiful wedding venue!

Best day, May wedding
I got married here May 28th 2022, Angie was so helpful and responsive from beginning to end. She took over for another planner and did not skip a beat. The day was awesome and the strand crew made everything go smoothly, everyone's food was hot and well proportioned. I had the ceremony in the courtyard which with the trees providing shade made the day not so hot. The reception was inside which we used both ballrooms and side room to have 2 bars to efficiently serve all 170 guests.

Perfect Outdoor Venue
We’re so happy we decided to get married at The Strand! Having our ceremony and reception in the garden made the day seamless. We had our cocktail hour on the Terrance to give staff time to make small adjustments in the garden between events. Andrea was the third event coordinator we worked with throughout the year-and-a-half planning process, but jumped right in, making sure we never missed a beat! sAndrea made multiple creative suggestions to my concerns: having transportation pull right up to the garden side parking lot to avoid people walking past our pre-ceremony photos; providing some cocktail hour goodies to my wedding party while we took photos so they didn’t miss the delicious food; moving our champagne wall in between the ceremony and cocktail hour to best guide our guests; the list goes on!
The Strand’s string lights over the garden and palm trees wrapped in lights make for the perfect outdoor backdrop at night. We absolutely love how everything looks in all of our photos! Thank you to Andrea and her staff for making our wedding day a dream.

Our daughter was married at The Strand on October 24th, 2020. It was a fabulous experience beginning to end. The grounds were immaculate and the food and service was top-notch. Andrea, the events coordinator, even had the groom’s new watch fitted on the day of the wedding. Such a magical location. Highly recommended.

Amazing Team!!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue! Renee, the wedding coordinator, was a dream to work with! She gave me her cell phone number, initiated meetings and walk-throughs, and was extremely gracious and flexible during the whole process. She helped me organize the children at the wedding and arranged a special room where they could go and have their separate entertainment. I am the third sister to get married in a Naples this year, and my other sisters went with other venues and did not have the pleasant experience I had with The Strand! During cocktail hour and dinner, the servers were extremely attentive. The food was incredible and many people said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. I am very grateful to Renee and her team for making our wedding day such a success!!

We just celebrated our wedding at The Club at The Strand and all I can say is .... WOW! First off, we visited several venues in the surrounding areas and from the minute we walked into The Strand, I knew it was the one... not to mention incomparable pricing! From the absolutely breathtaking outdoor botanical garden to the whimsical indoor ballroom, every space is filled with beauty! Lauren and her staff are nothing but professional and personable. She was on top of every detail and made sure the day itself ran without a hiccup. All of our guests were in awe of the venues layout and we could not agree more. We had an outdoor ceremony, followed by cocktail hour on the terrace with the reception indoors. It all flowed so seamlessly and the staff was extremely attentive from beginning to end. Shout out to the Chef for nailing everyone's meal with impeccable timing on plated service (side note: The Petite Grilled Aged Cheddar Cheese Sandwich hor devours was a huge hit among our guests!). We were married on 3/9/19 at the Strand in Naples. I begin to describe how wonderful this venue is. Everyone talked about how beautiful and unique the wedding was. We searched far and wide for a perfect venue and we were thrilled with the way everything came out. The perfect day
Our wedding at The Strand couldn’t have been more perfect. We had our ceremony and reception both outside in the botanical gardens area. I LOVE the outdoor area at this venue and think the beauty of it being uncovered is part of what makes it so unique (not to mention all of the amazing lights). The food and drinks were phenomenal and all of our guests are still talking about the excellent staff and beautiful venue. Lauren and her assistant Dakota were so friendly, helpful and always responsive when we had questions throughout the planning process. They made sure our day was exactly what we wanted. I can’t thank them and their team enough for making it the best day and would recommend The Strand to anyone on the search for a wedding venue (especially if looking for outdoors).

Best Wedding Venue in Naples!
After a very thorough search for the perfect outdoor wedding venue in Naples, we discovered The Club at the Strand. We found some very nice venues but none as spectacular as The Strand. To our surprise it was within our price range and also had a gorgeous indoor ballroom option for 160 people. The outdoor venue is a magical botanical garden with amazing lighting!
In addition, their wedding coordinator, Lauren Wolf, and her staff are all real pros! They were so accommodating and experienced and made the planning process very easy. Lauren helped us with the entire planning process and also ran the entire “day of” timeline with her new assistant, Dakota.
Their award winning chef gave us many options to choose from and the food presentation was beautiful.
Their vendor list included the best, most in-demand vendors of Naples and on the wedding day everything went off without a hitch!
Everyone told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I highly recommend The Strand as the best value and most beautiful outdoor venue in Naples!

Once I walked in The Club at the Strand, I knew instantaneously that it had to be my wedding venue. I cannot stress enough how beautiful this venue is, inside and outside. The staff was amazing to work with. Lauren, the venue coordinator, was very meticulous and easy to work with. The menu had a lot of varied options and all of my guests enjoyed their meals. Just be aware that the price of alcohol is on the higher side, but they are willing to work out something that fits your budget.

WE LOVE THE STRAND! Truly, SO thankful for this wonderful place, and amazing staff. My wedding here was an absolute dream. Lauren Wolf, the wedding coordinator is seriously amazing. She ran around all day to ensure everything I wanted was occurring. Here is a short back story: We originally booked a different venue (mainly due to location, as we live in Cape Coral) in October of 2017. Well.... come June 2018 (three months before our wedding) we received a phone call from that original venue, saying "We are going under construction, you'll have to find a new venue - sorry!" To say I had a bridezilla moment was a complete understatement. My husband looked at me and said "Now what?" The first place I could think of with a very similar look (botanical gardens, country club feel, etc) was the Club at The Strand. We called on a Friday evening around 6pm and got in touch with Lauren. Luckily for us, our date was not yet booked, we did a tour the following morning, and had booked the Strand within 36 hours of that mess! Lauren was so open to communicate any thought, concern, question or idea I had. She was open and honest and very mindful of our budget. Every little detail that I was so stressed and overwhelmed with all came to life the day of our wedding and it was PERFECT. I want to also mention just how elegant the venue it's self is. We had our ceremony in the gardens, and reception inside. I'm still receiving texts and comments about the place. Cocktail hour was also inside in the bar area, however there is a beautiful patio right outside bar area with an amazing view, perfect for pictures! I was told by many of the guests the bar service was impeccable and the appetizers were delicious. Our dinner was buffet style, salmon, chicken and steak. SO delicious! I could go on for days with how grateful I am to have had a perfect wedding, at a beautiful venue, and work with an amazing person like Lauren. If you choose the Strand, you too will have a perfect day! <3

My wedding at The Strand was everything I could have ever imagined it to be! My fiancé and I looked at so many venues and this one fell into our laps. Lauren was absolutely fantastic from the very first moment I contacted her. She always emailed me back right away with answers to any question I could possibly have and helped me plan a wedding in about 6 months. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel like we have already known each other for years. The venue itself was gorgeous and the food was to die for. The recommendations they give for our vendors were no disappointment either. It was amazing to see my wedding come to life the day of— every detail, every little thing I could have stressed and worried about turned out PERFECT! There aren't enough words to say how amazing Lauren Wolf and her team were. Please note that if you book your event here, there is no need for planners, as Lauren and her team will take care of everything. The food was delicious and all my guests are still raving about it. The chef was open to accommodating other food choices and he made them delicious and appealing. (I asked for Paella, he not only said absolutely, he made the best Paella ever!) The venue is elegant and sophisticated, very clean and recently remodeled. Everything was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. Lauren is extremely patient, responsive and accommodating. My wedding was fantastic and I have to say, Lauren was a big part of the reason why. The Club at the Strand exceeded all of my expectations as a wedding venue. Lauren Wolf, the Special Events Coordinator at the Club, is an incredible added benefit that you get if you smartly choose this venue. She was professional, helpful, organized, detail-oriented, flexible and goes the extra mile to ensure your wedding day is as perfect as it can be. Our original plan for an outdoor wedding had to be changed due to rain -- though this could have easily been an overwhelming change in events - with Lauren's (and her team) help, we were able to seamlessly transition and transform the Strand's unique ballroom space to a beautiful backdrop for a traditional Hindu wedding and then flip it again for the reception. We also were able to take advantage when the rain stopped and get beautiful pictures in the Strand's outdoor spaces. The Strand was also extremely helpful in its willingness to customize a seated dinner menu with Indian flavors which included the chef creating a delicious traditional Indian vegetarian entree. The Strand is a wonderful venue. You will make a great decision if you choose it.

THIS VENUE IS THE WAY TO GO! We wanted a beautiful outdoor venue that had a great indoor space in case of rain (Florida). Luckily there was no rain and the outside courtyard was magical. They have beautiful cafe lights and lights on the trees giving it such a beautiful vibe. Food was fantastic and the bartenders were awesome! Lastly and most importantly it was a pleasure working alongside the wedding coordinator, Michelle. She was so easy to communicate with and would get back to us so quickly with every single question we had. The day of the wedding she helped us and the guest with anything and everything and really went beyond her way to make it a great night! I highly recommend this venue for any event!

I myself knew what I wanted and was willing to do it all myself. If you fell as though you need help with your wedding, I do recommend you hire an outside event planner to work with you.

I highly recommend The Club at The Strand to anyone looking for an amazing venue! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I got married in May, my ceremony was in the outdoor Botanical Garden (which looks like a fairyland all lit up at night), and my reception was in the main ballroom. I worked with Michelle throughout the planning of my event, and she was attentive to every detail, especially the day of the event. She made sure my every request was granted, and everything was perfect for my special day. As far as the venue itself, it was gorgeous! Set-up was perfect was beautiful, and our family and friends are still raving about how wonderful our dinner was. Thank you to Michelle and all of the wonderful Strand staff for helping make our wedding experience amazing!

Everyone that attended our wedding said it was perfect and they had a wonderful time. Everyone loved that the wedding ceremony and reception were all in the same area and close together. We got compliments on the venue, the service and the food. Absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day. The staff was great and our coordinator Michelle was extremely helpful.

I looked everywhere for the perfect venue. I didn't want the typical ball room at a hotel. I wanted outdoors and The Strand delivered. We have had more comments from our guests about the incredible venue. It was fairytale perfect. The food was incredible the staff was fantastic and the outdoor courtyard with all the lights in the trees is the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding.

I am so happy we chose the Strand as our wedding venue! The Strand is absolutely beautiful and very accomadating. Their services were very professional. One of my favorite activities was the food tasting. Their food is DELICIOUS. I can't tell you how many guests we had talking about how great their food was. They also had many choices to choose from, so great! We also had many guests that the Strand was able to accomadate. Also they were very flexible, even when it was starting to rain, we were still able to have our wedding ceremony outside, which I was so happy we were still able to! The Strand and their team are so nice and wonderful to work with. They definitely helped make our wedding day so memorable and beautiful! Thank you so much to The Strand and their staff!

The Strand and everyone that works there is great! I began working with Rebecca and ended with Johna, both ladies were wonderful! Johna made sure that everything was set up how I wanted and made sure the night ran smoothly. Everything was set up before the reception and cleaned after for us, we did not have to worry about anything. It's a beautiful location and the food is excellent.

The Club at the Strand was our first choice for wedding venues. It was the first location we scouted and instantly fell in love with the beautiful outdoor courtyard. The entire planning process with The Strand was so professional and effortless. We were so blessed to have gotten to work with Rebecca from start to finish. The event staff was so nice. We continue to hear such positive reviews from our guests on how the location was so beautiful and food was spectacular. (Seriously, the food was AMAZING! The hardest part of the big day was choosing our favorite dishes to serve.) We could not have asked for a better group of people to execute such a memorable day. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

The club at the strand is a beautiful facility, the grand staircase is breathtaking as the bride walks down for the first time. The grounds are so Immaculate no decorations are needed. But there is one thing about the club at the strand that is irreplaceable and that is the staff. The one person that I honestly can say made things seem flawless was Rebecca, her attention to detail, her ability to make you feel like your the only client she has was incredible. She knew our vision and made it happen. She never felt any fire was too big to put out and never let the bride sweat. She made sure things ran smoothly and her ability to keep calm even in the biggest of storms made it seem as if there were no problems to big for her to handle with no stress on the bride or myself her mother. We honestly could not have done this with out her . Simply the best. The food was delicious and the service by Al was Simply delightful. His smile and sense of humor , his professionalism yet kind manner made things very comfortable during our dressing time there . The staff at the strand from upper management to the janitors were on task professional yet caring all at the same time. I would like to thank everyone on behalf of my daughter Samantha Castro and her husband Frank Fedorzyck as well myself Isabel Castro, for making my little girls dream wedding come true . Hats off to you.

I had a wonderful experience with everyone I worked with at The Strand. Amanda was fantastic day of the wedding. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! We had so many compliments throughout the night and after the wedding on how great the food was. My only complaint was that it looked like rain, so we moved the ceremony inside. I wasn't happy with the backup location---but no fault of the vendor. They set up both inside and out and we hoped for the best.

The staff at the strand are top notch! They went out of our way to make our day special. The food is pnemoninal! You get a lot for the pricing. I liked the fact that there were no hidden fees. This is the best wedding venue in Naples!!!! I had my wedding here in December and Rebecca Diamond was my wedding planner from the Strand. From the very start she was always extremely nice, helpful, and quick to respond to all of my emails. She helped me plan every detail of my wedding and she did a lot of extra things for me that saved me a lot of time and stress as a bride. The venue itself is so gorgeous and worth much more than the price they charge. So many of my guests told me and my family that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and the nicest venue they have ever seen. We had the Holy Smoke Buffet which was so delicious and the servers made sure we were satisfied and had drinks all night. The whole day was perfect and everything flowed beautifully thanks to Rebecca, Amanda, and all of the staff that worked to make our day as perfect as possible. I am SO happy I chose The Club at the Strand and I recommend it to everyone! I spent a lot of time looking for a venue in Naples and none of them compared to the Strand! We even had a few gift envelopes that ended up in their office after the wedding somehow and Rebecca let me know about them which shows how trustworthy they are. Love this place and all of their staff!

I cannot sing the praises of The Club at the Strand and specifically, Amanda Wichmanowski, highly enough!
Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that all goes off without a hitch. One of the most important things for my husband and I in choosing a venue was delicious, well-prepared food, and the chef and kitchen staff at he Strand DEFINITELY deliver. We had roughly 100 guests at our wedding, and I have never seen so many clean plates or heard so many compliments to the chef at a wedding. Also, the cost of the wedding was extremely competitive and in my opinion, a great value for the level of service, quality of food and gorgeous setting.
Amanda Wichmanowski was our main contact and coordinator, and she was on top of everything from our first meeting through to wrapping up loose ends post-wedding. She was extremely gracious, accommodating, and quick to respond - no matter what our request - and we changed our minds on quite a few things as we were planning the wedding. Additionally, we booked many of our vendors on her recommendations and had wonderful experiences with all of them (especially DJ Gil Blake!). Because Amanda was so skilled and organized, I had nothing to worry about the day of the wedding.
My husband and I had the time of our lives, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We have the Strand to thank for being the ultimate in professionalism and providing a beautiful location and experience on our wedding day.

I wanted to take the time to express how incredibly happy my husband and I were with our wedding at The Club at the Strand on May 23rd, 2014. From the first day we toured the property with Ashley to the very last moment of our wedding day, we can only say that we are among the luckiest couples in all of Southwest Florida for choosing to have our wedding with you. The property & club is beautiful: the outdoor garden with lush greenery & flowers was the perfect natural, yet private, setting we were looking for to have our outdoor ceremony. The ballroom was the perfect size for our family and friends, & we can easily say it was the best party of our lives. The day of, having the upstairs living room for the girls & the downstairs locker room for the boys to hang, prep, & take pictures before the ceremony was a major plus. We were comfortable, we were attended to, we were fed, we were champagne’d and beer’d, & we were happy. One of the most unforgettable moments was exiting the double doors & walking down the amazing staircase with my dad to begin the ceremony. Absolutely breathtaking. As far as the reception was concerned, there are two words: AMAZING FOOD. Our guests – two months later – are still talking about our insane cocktail hour. The stations were perfect – so perfect in fact that my husband’s grandpa stuffed himself because he had never seen so much delicious food at a cocktail hour & thought it was dinner! Dinner was perfect & your staff is the most attentive I’ve ever seen. So many of our guests have expressed that they rarely even had to go to the bar to get drinks. Your staff knew what they were drinking & were replacing empty glasses with new ice-cold beverages before guests could even ask! I look back on not only that day, but our entire experience with The Club at the Strand & we are so blessed and honored to have had our wedding with you. Thank you. I could never say enough good things about The Club at The Strand and Amanda and Becca. Amanda was my main contact for the wedding, and she did an amazing job. She was so patient with me and very detailed. The day of the wedding Amanda was in every place at once making sure the day was perfection. They were very flexible in working with us to get all of our decor to the venue and set up. The food was absolutely AMAZING! My guests are still talking about it 2 months later. This has to be the best venue in all of Naples. The staff was amazing, the venue is beautiful and The Strand was so accommodating with all of my requests. The day of the wedding was so relaxing and I felt so comfortable knowing that the staff was going to take care of everything for me. The venue for the reception is amazing! We just love the place and the staff was so nice we literally felt like family. The price was great. We did a buffet witch was better for our guest. We got a lot of compliments on the food. The chef is amazing he knows what real Mexican food is.Our wedding coornidater was Rebecca and her assistant Mellisa. We got married here on March 9, 2014. We had Amanda as our coordinator and if she wasn't apart of this special day I wouldn't have ever been happy. Our day came out PERFECT! I was not stressed one minute about anything on our wedding day. We have received multiple compliments on the entire wedding. The food was fabulous, the service was superb, and everyone was so helpful! I am so glad we were able to have our special day at The Strand! It was a pleasure dealing with Eileen Parsons and the staff on the wedding of Kelly Puhl and Chris Goldhorn. There were only minor glitches and everyone stated how wonderful the "fairytale" wedding was. Staff was pleasant and responsive and the bride was calm as a cucumber throughout the whole experience. The food was exceptional and all lighting and setup contributed to a feeling of intimacy even with over 100 guests. Thanks again for an experience of a lifetime.

There were a few factors we took into consideration when choosing a ceremony/reception location for our wedding. We were certain we wanted an outdoor ceremony and we visited several locations through the SW Fl area. The Strand offered the most elegant, natural beauty at the most affordable price. From the moment we first spoke with Amanda, we knew this was the place for us!
I scored them a 5/5 on all categories and here's why:
Quality of service- Amanda worked side by side with us the entire way offering suggestions to accommodate what would work with our budget so that we didn't have to sacrifice that which we had really wanted. The night of our event, the staff was extremely friendly and alert to all of our guests needs. You felt like you knew them as a friend by the end of the night!
Responsiveness- This deserves a 10!!! I can't tell you how many times I had random questions that i'd just send over to Amanda in an email and would have a quick response. Even if it wasn't something she could answer, it wouldn't be longer than a couple of hours that she would find the answer for us. Although we weren't long distance, this to me would be crucial to planning a wedding and made this experience an enjoyable stress free one!!
Professionalism/Value and Flexibility- I will just say that if you're lucky enough to have a planner like Amanda, and from the sounds of it really any of the ladies that assist with the planning, then your big day will be just like ours was- A Fairy tale!!!! The fact that they were willing to really truly work with our budget, accommodate any wacky and fun ideas we had and pull it all together in a crunched time period just says that this is not only the best venue in the SW Florida area- you're supported by the best people in this business!!!!!

The Club at The Strand... WOW! From start to finish our experience here was nothing short of amazing. The grounds are breathtaking and impeccably maintained. All of staff members were soooo very courteous, accommodating, and kind.
Amanda was our heaven sent! She is so professional, fun and understanding. She truly made our dreams become a reality. If I had a question about ANYTHING, she was there to provide valuable feedback and recommendations. I felt as though she was there just for us, and wanted our wedding to be exactly what we wanted. What a star she is.
The club manager and wait staff were nothing short of wonderful as well. EVERYTHING was executed with taste and perfection. They were all so comforting, friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make our wedding day one of perfect memories. If there was even the slightest hang up in execution- I never knew about it! They handled EVERYTHING.
And let me just say the food here is 5 STAR! The chef is PHENOMANAL! This is not your typical wedding cuisine! It is like dinning at the Ritz! Our guests are still talking about the food and magnificence of our wedding. We have heard over and over, that they had never been to a more beautiful wedding, and are absolutely raving about the food.
If you are looking for the gold standard for your wedding, The Strand is where you need to be. Thank you Amanda!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING!

This is a very beautiful venue. The gardens are beautiful. They made me feel very secure. I was a very stressed out bride and they knew how to calm me down. They took care of everything. My mother and I did the centerpieces and when we gave it to them the day before the wedding they began to put them on the tables. That's how awesome they are. The food was AMAZING!!! I've never had ribs, chicken, or beef as good as what they did!!! They are very reasonable in their prices as well. They are kind and courteous as well. I loved having my reception there!

The Club at the Strand was by far one of our best decisions! The place was beautiful and Amanda Fromm was fantastic! She was very responsive and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. I don't think there was a single hiccup at the reception since she planned and organized everything so perfectly. The staff was super friendly! We even got a few of them to goof off with us when giving away our Crazy Hour supplies. The food was amazing, everyone kept raving about how delicious the food was. All in all, everything was perfect because of their help and I would recommend to any bride.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue for our ceremony and reception. Everything at The Strand was absolutely exceptional, from the service to the food to the decor. Our guests would not stop raving about everything. Highly recommend to anyone looking for future wedding venues :)

The Club at the Strand is the perfect place for a beautiful ceremony and reception! The botanical gardens and the stair case created the perfect back drop for my ceremony and my guests told me they felt like it was straight out of a movie! The staff is extremely professional and helpful from the first contact through the end of the event. They helped coordinate everything on the day of the wedding so I didn't even need to use a wedding planner. I couldn't have been happier with the location, food, and level of service provided by the Strand!

I got married 5.7.11 at The Strand. We had a total of 64 guests. Amanda at the Strand was extremely helpful. She always took the time to review all my thoughts and ideas, always called or emailed back right away. The Strand was a beautiful setting for our Ceremony. We used Rev. Dan recommended by The Strand. He made our Ceremony so special...like he knew us for years. We did the Holy Smoke Buffet, which everyone raved about. Every detail was given special attention. Amanda and Paige made sure everything was stress free and went smoothly. Planning a wedding can be so stressful I can honestly say with no reservation The Strand is the perfect place for a wedding. :)

The staff is extremely professional and attentive. The food was OUTSTANDING!! I'm just sad we couldn't eat more of it! The ballroom was beautiful and the outside garden area where we had the ceremony was perfect.
Everything went as planned, except for a very few minor things, and those were fixed in the blink of an eye and no one knew.
I would recommend this venue to anyone!

We had our destination/hometown wedding here and the services provided were exceptional. Planning a wedding from 1400 miles away was made easy with their wedding coordinator. We did not have to setup or takedown a thing. I strongly recommend this venue for any event - our guests did not have any complaints. Many guests stated that this was the best/nicest/most amazing/beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Our wedding was stress free and relaxed, in large part due to the accommodating staff at the Strand.

This place took my breath away when I saw it. The amazing ceremony with the beautiful grand staircase and water fountain was picture perfect. Lili the coordinator was also absolutly wonderful. She is very professional and caring. Your in good hands with her. The food was amazing. My guests couldn't stop telling me about how delicious and wonderful the food was. The presentation of the food was also wonderful. I couldn't have asked for anything more from this venue. It was amazing.

Gorgeous venue and amazing staff
I had my wedding at The Strand a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect. The Strand has so much beauty already that you don't feel the need to go crazy with decorations. I worked mostly with Andrea and had Sharon there for the rehearsal and day of and they were both absolutely amazing. All of our needs were met and they handled everything the day of so all I had to worry about was getting ready. They were also so accommodating when I wanted to personalize our buffet menu and even went out of their way to make sure I could have a draft of our favorite local beer. Also, the food was amazing which was a major plus!

Rebecca and the staff at The Strand were wonderful on our wedding day. Rebecca was so attentive to questions or concerns during the planning process. She was really great to work with. Rebecca knew almost all of my vendors and worked well to help coordinate efforts where needed. We had our service and reception outside. Everything was beautiful and the food was delicious.

It is a beautiful venue and the directions getting to it from I-75 are extremely easy. However they are a bit pricey and I did not like that you could not even bring in outside food if you wanted to cater your own reception. Overall we were pleased with the strand, just wish it was not so much to rent this venue.

The Club at the Strand was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect, really. I was a bit worried when I began looking for venues in Naples because of the higher price per person than I expected. Well, I shouldn't have doubted how delicious the food and service would be! I have never had a steak that was so perfect, and I am from the Midwest! The waiters were exceptional, and were very sweet to me (the bride) the entire night. I had a smaller wedding of about 75 people, and the ballroom made it feel a bit bigger, but not too spaced out. Also, there is a beautiful veranda off of the ballroom which was nice to get some fresh air during the night. I would say the most outstanding part of this venue is the quality of food and service.

Hard to find a venue where the scenery is beautiful and the food is good - and we found the Club at the Strand. Great value!!! The botanical gardens is so picturesque. The stairwell made for a grand bridal entrance. The food from cocktail hour through dinner was superb. We went with sea bass and prime rib - both phenomenal. The fish tasted fresh and prime rib was cooked perfectly - medium rare (every slice).
What is somewhat of a downside is - since I first booked the venue in Fall of 2019, the venue went through 4 different venue coordinators. (The 3rd, Andrea - was most responsive, thank you!) I did not get to establish a rapport with any of them because they'd leave and as an out of state bride, I was worried if the new coordinator would care about us as individuals. Thankfully, everything went well which is a great sign of succession planning. The last coordinator Sharon did her job and had just started in this role only 2 weeks prior to my event! The venue was also accommodating in our requests.

This really was a gorgeous venue.
The food and service were also great.
They were very flexible in terms of being able to find a menu that fit our budget.
There is plenty of space (beautiful photogenic space) to get ready in.
Our wedding coordinator was "on top of it" and included in the package
A few negatives (NONE of which would have stopped me from booking there...just a few tips if you do decide to book there):
-Wedding started a little early (at least 5 minutes). Combine that with the fact that I had some guests on Cuban time, and a few good friends missed a good portion of the ceremony :-( I probably would start about 5 minutes late.
-I wasn't told until the day before that there would be an anniversary party in the same building the same night. We were led to believe before booking that the entire building would be all ours. To my surprise the woman who had the anniversary had dressed up in her wedding gown; that caught my attention as we were both taking photos. It really wasn't a big deal...I just didn't appreciate the surprise component, but I suppose weddings always have those :-)
-The reception felt a little short and I was under the impression I could extend it based on the mood toward the end of the evening. However, that was probably a bad plan, because the staff started readying to wrap up pretty early and the window I had to speak up and extend the evening quickly closed. If you want the ending time to remain flexible, that better be explicit with your DJ/musician as well as the entire staff.

We had a rough start with the Strand. We had a total of four different coordinators. There were a few things that were not communicated to us throughout the process. Although they were going through a change in management, we felt wary of how our wedding would turn out. However, despite all of the miscommunications, we had a beautiful and wonderful wedding. The venue was probably the most stress out of my entire wedding. We had 4 coordinators during the one year of planning so always starting over even 2 weeks before my wedding. They really just didn’t stick to our plan the entire time. I wanted to get married here because of the twinkle lights ambiance and during rehearsal multiple people told the venue half of them were off however they didn’t bother to do anything about it until after my ceremony. So my ceremony pics look like an electrical outage. My ceremony had to be moved inside I heard guests were helping move tables so I don’t understand how the strand had a hard time handling this since my wedding was not the first that had to be moved inside. The food was great so that was a plus. Don’t plan on returning for my anniversaries because of the stressful planning year it was like they’ve never had a wedding there before.

We had only our ceremony at The Strand and the location itself is absolutely beautiful. The gardens, fountain and staircase really create the "wow" factor that you're looking for at a wedding. Although the setting was beautiful, it was somewhat difficult working with The Strand. We got married November 4th and booked The Strand in January and over that 10-month span, I was given 3 different contacts of people that were in charge of the wedding coordination. The first 2 women ended up leaving The Strand and I did not hear from the third at all until I contacted her approximately 1 month before our wedding. The night before our rehearsal, after 10:00pm, the 3rd coordinator, who had not contacted me at all, sent me an email asking me to spell out everything I wanted related to our ceremony and that we "must be prompt and attentive" because there was a charity event the evening of our rehearsal, so ultimately we needed to get out as soon as possible. The day of the wedding, there is a bridal suite that is available starting at 9:00am until the start of the ceremony, which ours was at 4:00pm. I did not see the coordinator until about 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. It seems as though The Strand is going through a lot of transitions, and I hope that if you had your ceremony and reception there that they might be more attentive, but in my case, it did not feel as though our ceremony was a priority to the wedding coordinator.

We recently got married at the Club at the Strand. We were supposed to have Rebecca as our day of wedding coordinator; unfortunately, due to certain circumstances we were unable to have her there. Instead we had Michelle. While Michelle seems like a nice person, I do not think she is cut out for wedding planning or anything wedding related.
My husband and I could not depend on her the day of. I STRONGLY recommend hiring an outside planner or having a detail-oriented, motivated wedding party if you plan on getting married here. Our wedding started late because we could not find her, half of our guests did not receive their food while the other half had finished eating, she disregarded my maid of honors because she was with a prospective client (even though my wedding was happening that day), at one point when no one could find her, my dad found her in her office playing with ornaments, the rehearsal lacked direction and she was on her phone the entire time, she was very difficult to get a hold of prior to the wedding, and lastly, I had several guests come to me after the wedding to complain about Michelle's disregard for us and our wedding day.
The Club at the Strand is a beautiful location. Our wedding was beautiful thanks to our wonderful friends and family. I do worry if Michelle is kept in this position she will ruin someone else's wedding by not being helpful or attentive. Due to the Klaas Group owning the Club at the Strand and Michelle being married to Richard's son, Brian, I doubt anything will change. Just a fair warning to all the brides looking to get married here. Had Michelle been the one we met initially over Rebecca we probably would not have booked this venue.

The site is very beautiful and can easily turn your wedding and reception into a very elegant one. If you are on a budget, and can only afford basic decorations, it will still look amazing. The chairs and linens are included, other venues tend to charge you for those. If you give them a general idea as towhat you want and give them a budget, they can work something out.
Up until the night before my wedding, the coordinator was amazing. The night before, my dress rehearsal, the coordinator completely changed. She was bossy and rude my family and friends, rushing us and even making my ring bearer cry. The day of my wedding, she made me and my made of honor stress out withall these details that she was supossed to have together already. As we were taking pictures before the wedding, and it was about time to start, she yelled at my photographer and aunt to get out because it was time to start. Very rude.
At the reception, the food was amazing. I did however pay for a soda package and had to ask the waiters three times to start serving it. It wasn't until we were almost done that people started getting sodas. Some actually paid at the bar to get soda because the servers weren't doing their jobs.
Also, a month later, we got an additional bill in the mail for "having more people show up than we planned on". We actually had extra chairs because about 15 people didn't show up. Plus, there was so much food left over, that you can't take home that I couldn't believe they would charge us more. Not to mention that we did not get out 6.50 a head worth of soda.
It is a beautiful place but only one of the coordinators is good. The other causes more stress than needed. So if you use this place, don't put too much trust in the planner and you will have an amazing Fairy Tale Wedding :)

The venue at The Strand is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The space is great and everything LOOKS awesome. The behind the scenes is an issue. Originally, we were supposed to have the Wedding Coordinator, Amanda. We really liked her and she seemed very organized and put together. However, we were then switched to Michelle, a different wedding coordinator. I don't even know that I would be able to remember all of the things that went wrong with Michelle. We were told we needed to pay for our food tasting originally, which ended up being incorrect. We were able to get two meals free. We were also told we would be unable to taste appetizers. It was stated that they order those in bulk so there is no way for us to be able to taste them (had to go into cocktail hour blind). We were originally told that the tables would seat 10 people each. At our food tasting (Michelle was not there), one of the waiters let us know that only 8 people fit per table unless you want your guests sitting on each other's laps. We were told we HAD to have placecards for each guest TWENTY DAYS prior to our wedding and when we stated we did not have time to make those the way we would like in that time frame, we had to fight for a solid week to get them to let us have our wedding without them. The day of, all of our napkins were incorrect so we had to find someone to fix them all (130 of them). They served the WRONG dish for one of the two meals at our wedding and it could not be fixed as all of the chicken had been used for the WRONG chicken dish. Michelle was overall unreliable and if it were not for myself, my husband, and my mom, our wedding would have not looked put together at all. If you have your wedding here, be sure to do it all yourself. Do NOT rely on a coordinator to help you.
I also wrote this review on The Knot. After seeing it, Michelle emailed my mother a six paragraph email complaining and harassing her for me to change my review and reported my HONEST review.

This venue is very beautiful but our experience was a mess. We worked with 2 different people in the planning stage and then had a brand new person show up the night before the wedding (rehearsal). Andrea Renken was terrible at responding to emails/calls, extremely disorganized and kept losing track of our decisions we made, and every time we were able to talk, she gave us a new quote with hidden charges. The wedding kept getting more and more expensive because she would come up with new charges we didnt ask for and yet she was not doing her job well at all. She even caused us to not be able to do a menu sampling because she forgot we had scheduled one and simply told us we couldn't come because she forgot. Luckily the food ended up being awesome, but I didn't like going into my wedding without having an idea of whether the food would be good. The day of the rehearsal, there was a new girl working and we learned she was replacing Andrea, which was a very good thing but not cool to learn this the day before the wedding. Because of this, many things we had planned for the wedding were different and there was a lot of miscommunication (main issue was cocktail hour was in a different place than expected and guests ended up ebing outside the entire day). Although one main person ruined this venue for me, the new events manager, Sharon, was able to make it a beautiful day and I'm grateful for that! The only reason I'd recommend this venue is because I think it would have gone better if we could have worked with Sharon the whole time and it is a beautiful venue!

When I first decided on the strand it seemed like the perfect place to have my wedding but after it was booked everything changed. The people became a lot less helpful. Would never respond to my calls or emails. Didn't lead me along the way or anything. We had our food tasting loved the food. However when we say down for our wedding dinner. We received not one thing that was supposed to be there. Like I said previously after the deposit was made it all went down hill.

Very unprofessional and rude
We set up an appointment to look at the venue and get some more information about pricing and details.
We arrived at the club house and were greeted by the wedding coordinator. She gave us a 5 min. tour of the property and gave us a brochure with the words “these are our prices, you can look at them and call me with any questions, have a great day “.
Excuse me ?
First of all, the “brochure” Witt menu options is a book with prices for everything you can imagine. I’m surprised you won’t get charged extra for every restroom visit from your guest! Second of all, not all prices are disclosed on the brochure. The $2,500 rent for the venue is mentioned nowhere!
I’m really sorry that we wasted 5 minutes of their very valuable time.

Let me preface this by saying The Club at The Strand is truly a wonderful setting for your special day. We booked this venue thinking this is the place to have that "fairy tale wedding". We had the food tasting and all we could say was WOW!! Delicious!!
Beautiful venue, incredible food, what could possibly go wrong........
The day finally arrives. We arrive to meet the photographers as they are still setting up. Was a little on the "warmer" side and both photographers made mention of that. As the evening wore on it was quite uncomfortable. It was actually quite cooler outside then in.
It seems there was a big lack of communication with the coordinator and the staff. We explicitly said the Groom was not to see the Bride before she walked down the aisle and he was to be kept out of sight. The coordinator did not pay attention to this as we were out in the gardens taking family pictures and the Groom walks out. HELLLLOOOO....... Seems things got progressively worse.
Onto the food.....we had a buffet with a pasta station and two chefs attending. I was asked what I wanted, only to be told "we don't have that". What I asked for was supposed to be on the menu. The chef was rude to me and other guests. Also two of our buffet choices were not what we ate the night of our taste testing. They mixed up the two dishes. When I addressed this with the coordinator I was told I was wrong and they had taken pictures of said dishes. Do yourself a favor, take your own pictures for insurance.
Onto the cake...... There was a staged cake cutting so the photographer could get her pictures. There was to be a traditional cake cutting ceremony a little later on when the dessert bar was served. However the cake was cut and served sans ceremony. Guests had to get their own coffee and even a glass of water. This could truly be a spectacular venue if they paid more attention to detail and communicated better. Very disappointing!!
