Couldn't Recommend a Better Caterer - Your Venue will be happy!

We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience for our wedding. All of our vendors recommended Chef’s Garden over any other caterer. Planning my wedding from LA, I’m so glad I did!! From start to finish, everything from Chef’s Garden felt luxurious and truly high-end. Cassie's communication was excellent throughout the process, making planning seamless and stress-free.

One of the standout moments was the tasting—such a personalized and thoughtful experience. They really took the time to tailor dishes to our preferences as a couple, which made the final menu feel so special and unique to us.

On the wedding day, the service staff was outstanding—professional, attentive, and warm. Our guests are still raving about the food and overall experience! So many went back for 2nds!! It was absolutely worth the investment, and we’re so grateful they helped make our day feel so elevated and memorable.

We even set up a Mimosa Bar - a fun idea I saw on Pinterest. Cassie and her staff brought it to life!! We are forever grateful

Delicious food and amazing service!!!!

Chef’s Garden did a phenomenal job for our wedding!! The food was amazing, even with an unexpected two hour cocktail hour, the food kept being served to guests and they truly were such a sweet group of people to work with! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!!! Also the fact we were sent home with meals was perfect!!

Amazing Service and Food!

Chefs Garden catered our daughter’s wedding reception on May 3 at Azaleana Manor. From start to finish Elizabeth was happy to please us. The food was delicious and displayed beautifully. When my husband and I first meat Elizabeth she said that “you eat with your eyes first”. That is so true and I have never forgotten it. The staff at the reception were very attentive and made sure that we were happy. There was plenty of food and what wasn’t eaten, was packaged up nicely for us to take home. I am so glad we chose Chefs Garden for our daughter’s special day.

The staff was professional, courteous and prompt. They were dressed nicely.

Cassie and the entire Chef's Garden crew were outstanding! It's weeks after our wedding and our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was! It truly couldn't have been any better, from the coordination leading up to the event, the kindness of the serve staff- all the way to the cute and thoughtful leftovers they packaged us up at the end! Best Caterers in Jax!

Chef's Garden catered our wedding, and we couldn't have picked any better caterers! During planning, they have helped us out along the way, answering our many questions and responding clearly and concisely. They aligned with what we wanted, and even provided great suggestions that we implemented on our wedding day.
Our guests we're very satisfied with the food! They we're shocked at how tasty everything was, and the variety that they offered at our cocktail hour and reception. Being apart of families that put food as the most important part of a wedding, and they approved it! The food was presented and tasted very well, reflecting exactly from the tasting we had when we first tried out the food. Bartenders did also an amazing job! Guests enjoyed going to the bar, and the drinks we're super yummy.
We would recommend Chef's Garden to anyone who wants to impress their guests for any party! Thank you Chef's Garden for making our wedding food unforgettable!

Absolutely amazing caterer

Hands down the best food I have ever been served at a wedding, and I am not being biased because it was my own wedding! Cassie was extremely easy to work with throughout the various stages of the planning process and was always prompt with her responses. The Chefs Garden team who were in attendance at the wedding were so on top of everything. They not only made sure that we had food and drinks as the bride and groom, but they made sure that the guests were all taken care of. I would recommend Chefs Garden to anyone in need of a caterer for their wedding or any other event.

Amazing!

Our experience with The Chef's Garden more than exceeded our expectations. We Worked with Elizabeth to create the menu for our wedding and everything was a breeze from the beginning until the very end. The food was amazing, we had so many compliments from our guests, some said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had what they needed, and the bartender Steve made sure everyone had a drink in their hand at all times. We had a blast a blast, the service Chef's Garden provided was beyond our expectations, our wedding was perfect and so special and we owe a lot of it to Elizabeth and her team. We are forever grateful.

The BEST Caterer in Town!

Chef’s Garden came highly recommended, but we didn’t realize just how good they would be. The team was great to work with leading up to our wedding, giving us guidance and helping us curate the perfect menu. On the day of, they exceeded our expectations… Our guests raved about all of the food — appetizers, dinner, desserts, and the late night snack. Aside from the food which everyone loved, the Chef’s Garden team is so kind and generous. We had to pivot venues 2 days before our event and they helped us find a new venue and were so flexible. Can’t say enough about our experience. So grateful for this team!

5 Star team!!

The Chef's Garden just catered our wedding in Saint Augustine and we heard nothing but AMAZING things from our guests about the food and service. We already knew it was going to taste incredible, but all the compliments we got on the food made us feel so good and thankful we chose the best vendors. My husband and I also felt so taken care of by the staff, who played a huge part in making it a perfect day- and never left us without a snack or drink in our hands :)

10/10 when it comes to taste, menu options, professionalism, attention to detail, and service. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a top tier team at their wedding!

4-21-24 Lightner Museum Wedding

The food at Chef's Garden is amazing! All of our guests were raving about the food regardless of what they got (the fish, chicken or steak). They were also awesome at helping us brainstorm ideas. We brought up that we would love to have a late night snack available for our guests so they had something to munch on that was hearty while the bar was still open. Elizabeth came up with an amazing late night snack bar with pretzels with cheese and popcorn so that our guests could have something to munch on throughout the evening after dinner. Our guests loved it! One of our guests even made a video about how excited he was for the late night snack bar. The team is incredibly responsive with any questions that you have. The servers were so kind and helpful at the event. The tasting before the wedding was really well done and showcased the presentation of the food as well as having the opportunity to taste the food. We could not have asked for a better team of people to work with to make sure we had the best quality food and service for our guests.

Best Service. Period.

Choosing Chef's Garden was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. Here's why:

1. They worked with my budget and helped create an experience that was high-quality with a good price
2. They provided us (bride & groom) cocktail hour appetizers and drinks after the ceremony
3. They served both of us a plate of food, we didn't have to get up for anything
4. Every menu item and appetizer was bomb dot com
5. They cut the wedding cake for us (after we made our first cut) and served everyone in a timely manner
6. They gave us a bag of food to take with us on our honeymoon (this is SUPER helpful, as I didn't eat much on the wedding day)
7. Every guest at my wedding had nothing but amazing things to say about Chef's Garden; an engaged couple from my wedding actually inquired of the company after trying their food

If you're thinking about going forward with Chef's Garden, do it! I will never regret having a wonderful culinary experience at my wedding.

I wish they had a restaurant.

You cannot go wrong with Chef’s Garden. They catered our wedding in February 2024, and we were blown away by the food and the staff. All of our guests raved about their meals. We still think about the food and wish they had a restaurant so we could visit over and over.

We primarily worked with Cassie. She was professional, was always available to answer our questions, and was flexible with any requests we had. She went above and beyond, constantly offering to bring items they had available that fit the theme to help make the event extra special. Our wedding was inspired by the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, so we had a southern themed menu.

Everything was delicious. A couple of standout appetizers would have to be the pulled pork and deviled eggs. The pulled pork on sweet potato cakes were absolutely amazing and I'm thankful to Cassie for suggesting it. We also asked for custom deviled eggs that they had no issue accommodating and did not disappoint.

As for the dinner, we were able to have a family style setting with shrimp and grits, chicken with vegetables, mac and cheese, and collard greens. Everything was amazing. We had tried the chicken at the tasting, so I knew that was going to be delicious and was looking forward. By far the standout was the collard greens; they were the best I've ever had, and everyone was raving about them and all the food.

The staff on the wedding day was absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to make everything special.

"Best wedding food I've ever had"

Fabulous catering!

We're so happy with our experience with Chef's Garden! Our tasting was wonderful and made us even more excited for the big day. The food the day of was fantastic - they were able to incorporate a couple minor changes to our dishes which we really appreciated. The wonderful staff brought us appetizers while we had photos during cocktail hour, so we were happy we got to have a taste of everything! The dinner buffet was exactly what we wanted, and the gelato cart was definitely a hit! They even packaged us up leftovers for later that night. Thanks, Elizabeth and Chef's Garden team!

amazing food and experts at handling food allergies

We hired Chef's Garden while planning a wedding from afar. We didn't do any taste testing until the wedding itself and it was AMAZING. Jenn and her team were great to work with-- they crafted a menu that was specific to our general southern-seafood vision and even went to the effort to make custom buffet/bar signs that matched our wedding invitations! We had a lot of pregnant guests and they came up with awesome and gorgeous mocktails too. the BEST part -- although there are many-- is how WONDERFUL they were with the bride's severe tree nut food allergy. They thought through everything down to the source of the coconut shreds and the cleaning process of the fryer. They also handled several additional allergies in our guests. If you're ANY bride/groom that loves incredible food, but ESPECIALLY if you have a food allergy, I recommend them in a heartbeat.

Delicious Food, Gorgeous Presentation

We had an incredible experience with Chef's Garden from start to finish! Elizabeth answered all of emails and questions in a timely fashion and was always down to get on a call if we needed to. My husband and I did not have a chance to taste the food prior to our big day (got food poisoning the night before) so we truly had no idea how the food would taste but we pleasantly surprised. Every single appetizer and dish were simply amazing and the presentation was impeccable!! Every single vendor of ours raved about Chef's Garden and now I know why. 10/10 would hire again! We had around 8 different appetizers and 4 different meal combinations and I wish we did more because the food was that good. You are missing out if you are not hiring Chef's Garden!

Great Quality

Chef's Garden was wonderful for our wedding! The food tasted great (we got so many compliments from our guests), the staff was friendly and professional, and the bartenders were also great! The one caveat is I wished someone had asked if we wanted to take home the left overs (though I am not sure if this was allowed and I also forgot to ask them about this), as I feel there was a lot left at the end of the night. Other than that, they were amazing in every way! Would 100% recommend!

Plated Dinner

Chefs Garden provided us with some of the best entrees I have ever had at a wedding. We had multiple guests compliment the food as well as the service that was provided to us. Everyone received the correct entree’s even with the confusion of last minute CoVid changes. We cannot thank Elizabeth enough for communicating with us up until days before the wedding to make sure we didn’t need to make any last minuet changes. We highly recommend!

Wedding Dreams:

Chefs garden did a fantastic job with our wedding! We chose several different appetizers, as well as plated dinners and a fantastic assortment of desserts. By far the Brown sugar salmon stole the scene! While the presentation was slightly different from what we had initially tried the flavors held strong and everything was flawless! We couldn’t have found a better caterer. I highly recommended chefs garden for a classy, tasty experience that really completes the wedding.

Incredible Food and Service!

We can’t say enough about Chefs Garden! The food and the entire staff at our Wedding were impeccable! We decided to have a private meal with our dog during the Reception and everything was setup perfectly and in a timely manner. Our dog even had a special steak prepared by the Chef! All of our guests raved about the appetizers and the main courses. Elizabeth was great to work with and went above and beyond to ensure we had peace of mind leading up to the big day. We had several last minute changes due to Covid and she was very flexible and accommodating to our requests and changes. Thank you so much for an incredible experience! Tastes as good as it looks!

There are no words for how amazing Elizabeth and Chef’s Garden were as our caterer for our 11/13/2020 wedding. We are a Covid wedding couple- originally booked for a huge May wedding that became a small November wedding. We got in touch with Elizabeth only 3 months out from the new date and she was so responsive and worked so hard to give us everything we wanted without ever making us feel like we were on a time crunch. For our tasting, we finally felt like a spoiled Bride and Groom- they laid out an amazing spread, with custom menus with our names, a welcome sign, and a delicious meal. On the wedding day- they went above and beyond any expectations we could have had- everyone was impressed with the taste, the incredible service, and how beautiful our displays were. We feel so grateful and lucky that we found Elizabeth and Chef’s Garden. We will never cater with another company again- we are clients for life!!

Above and beyond!

We had an amazing experience with Chef's Garden. We planned our Jacksonville wedding from New York, which could have been difficult, but with Chef's Garden, everything was a breeze. They have so many delicious food options and are willing to personalize your wedding dinner menu to make it that of your dreams. Elizabeth was always quick to answer my emails, and was flexible with menu changes and accommodations. They allowed my in-laws to do a tasting of our full dinner menu selection since we couldn't be there to do so. On the day of our wedding, all of the staff were beyond professional and friendly, and assisted with everything we needed. We hired the bartending service as well, and it was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about this catering company. Everyone raved about the food!

And the to-go bag we took to our hotel the night of the wedding (with a special treat inside) was icing on the cake!

Everything was perfect

Let me start by saying that food was the most important part of our wedding (besides getting married of course!), so we had very high expectations for the food served at our wedding.

The Chef's Garden exceeded our expectations by far. They worked with us to create the absolute perfect menu for both cocktail hour and dinner. Everything from the presentation, taste, and service was impeccable. The team at the Chef's Garden (especially Jennifer) made the process so fun and easy through great communication and consultation every step of the way.

The day of the wedding was the icing on the cake. From providing us with our own server/appetizers during our photoshoot to packing up left overs for us to enjoy the next day, this catering service went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceed our expectations. Best wedding food ever!

Our wedding was held at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. One requirement of having our wedding at the Cummer was that we use their caterer (Chef's Garden). We met with Jennifer Earnest, who was very pleasant and professional to work with. Everything went so smoothly on the day of our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing. Many guests raved about the food, even the most critical friends and family members. We provided our own alcohol/liquor, but Chef's Garden supplied the bar tender and all the mixers at a small fee. My husband and I absolutely loved having Chef's Garden cater our wedding and would highly recommend them to everyone!

So happy with my wedding food and bar!

Chef's Garden knocked it out of the park. The chicken, short rib, and veggie dishes were all amazing. I had multiple people tell me how great their food was over the course of the night, and for good reason. The bartending service was amazing as well. Could not recommend them more!

Creative, flexible caterer with exceptional service

We were very impressed by Chef’s Garden ability to create a completely custom menu for our wedding. They went above and beyond for us. Elizabeth was our point of contact and she was kind, helpful, and accommodating. Not only did she diligently work with our planner to stick to our budget, but she was very responsive to our questions and concerns. The proposals she provided were extremely detailed and updated after each tasting. And all the CG staff on the day of was very professional.

Some of our more unique requests included seafood soup, lamb tagine, and vegetable curry. CG embraced all our ideas whole-heartedly! At the tasting, the food was presented beautifully, and we were most excited about our entrée choices. We realized we wanted to change direction with the appetizers and dessert. Thankfully, Chef’s Garden was willing to do a second tasting, which was a huge relief, and we selected options from their catering menu that we were really happy with.

The duck confit tacos were by far the favorite hors d’oeuvre at our wedding. So much so, there wasn’t any left for us! Whether you want to stick with their tried and true menu choices or come up with your own, I highly recommend Chef’s Garden.

One suggestion I do have for Chef’s Garden is to provide a short list of “favorite” hors d’oeuvres and entrees with photos since their catering menu is so extensive. It’s hard to choose for the tasting. I was driving from a far distance for each tasting, so there was extra pressure on choosing well. There are some photos on the website and social media but would have loved more.

Delicious food and presented beautifully!

I got married at the Cummer Museum in October and had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and the Chef's Garden team. The food was better than I ever could of imagined! We picked plated meals and gave our guests the option of chicken, beef, or fish. You couldn't go wrong with ay of them, they were all amazing! I had so many compliments about the food served, so I'm thrilled. The staff on the day of the wedding was also so sweet. Thank you so much Jennifer!

Amazing Service and Food!

What struck me most impressionable about Chef Garden's team was how amazing the service was. The staff really strove to make sure my husband and I not only got to experience the food, but that we were comfortable and had everything we needed at all times. Amazing food, amazing staff. They even helped us move the entire ceremony outside after it stopped raining. Great, great catering company.

How is it SO good?

The Chef's Garden catered our wedding on March 4th, 2018, and even 6 weeks later, we are STILL receiving compliments with how great the food and service was. Elizabeth, the catering and events director, was wonderful to work with and was always there to answer any question I had. She made the whole process very easy and stress-free for this bride.

They were very attentive to my now husband and I during the cocktail hour, making sure we got to sample the hors d’oeuvres, and then again during the reception dinner. Although, I couldn't eat much because I was so excited that I am now a wife! :)

I would definitely recommend The Chef's Garden to any other couple there (and have already done so numerous times already!) and will keep them in mind for any future events we may have.

Thank you, Chef's Garden, for a wonderful wedding experience.

We had our wedding at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and were lucky enough to have The Chef's Garden as our caterer! Coming from a large New York Italian family that loves to eat... the food was very important to us. Jennifer was incredible to work with and helped us create the perfect menu. Everyone always tells you that when you are the bride and groom, you never get to eat on your wedding day, but Jennifer made sure we did! I can honesty say that I got to try (and enjoy!) everything everyone else ate at the wedding. Before cocktail hour, The Chef's Garden set up a small bistro table for my husband and I, where we were personally delivered the cocktail hour appetizers. It was so nice to take a few minutes, just the two of us, to enjoy the food and each others company before we joined everyone else at the cocktail hour. We had a sit down dinner for 145 people and all of the food came out at the same time, hot and delicious! Everyone talked about how the food was unlike any wedding food they'd ever had! Thank you to the team at The Chef's Garden and to Jennifer for making our day so memorable!

Jennifer worked with me to make a special cornbread, and didn't stop until they had gotten it down perfect. The food was wonderful and I was so thrilled to see that we left with some midnight snacks that they had packed up for us in the limo! We are still getting compliments on the food and service. Chef's garden went above and beyond in helping us have an amazing night. They surpassed our expectations. If you want food that is personal, detailed and memorable look no further. Jennifer and her staff understand how important the sentimental details are and I truly felt like she shared my vision. The execution was flawless and I could not be happier. Jennifer Earnest at The Chef's Garden is absolutely amazing!! I cannot stress how pleasant the experience was to work with her. She kept our budget in mind, catered to our changes (a lot of them last minute), and even went the extra mile to send us home with some extra goodies at the end!!! Jennifer made the catering portion of my wedding planning so easy and so fun. The food was INCREDIBLE. I still have friends and family tell me how delicious and beautifully set up everything was that day! Jennifer even helped decorate on the day of my wedding with my day of coordinator. Honestly, there aren't words to say how amazing Elizabeth and her team at Chef's Garden are. We had a negative experience with another catering company that was very sketchy about contracts and deposits and I was feeling discouraged. But Elizabeth put my mind at ease as soon as we started working together. She created an amazing menu that fit our wedding perfectly and was within our budget. The number one thing I can say about her and her staff - professional. They made everything go so smoothly, the set up was gorgeous, and our guests were blown away by the food! Everyone says, as the bride and groom, to make sure you eat and stay hydrated and the catering staff captain, Bart, took care of us all night. He came out while we were taking photos to make sure the bridal party got to try all of the delicious appetizers (the bacon-wrapped scallops are life-affirming), and took care of us throughout the night. I never worried about anything with Chef's Garden, which is exactly what you want from a wedding vendor. I would recommend them to any bride.

Chef’s Garden was a delicious asset to our wedding! Elizabeth Van Nuy did an exceptional job keeping in touch with us and discussing all of our desires for the dinner. We found Chef’s Garden one year in advance before our wedding and we are so happy with our decision. We arranged for a food tasting with Elizabeth and their chef which we enjoyed tremendously. Not only was the food good, but the conversation was great as well. We were able to pick out the menu with ease as well as the linens for the tables (we even had a pink sparkle tablecloth for our sweetheart table which I was in love with)! On the day of the wedding, we received only good reviews from our guests about the food, the servers and bartenders were wonderful and kept everyone spirited. While food was the most expensive item on our wedding budget, I absolutely believe that was money well spent. Thank you so much Elizabeth and Chef’s Garden for a tasty night!

We used Chef's garden because they manage the cafe at the Cummer, which was our venue, but I'm so thankful we did! Jennifer was excellent at getting everything pulled together. She provided the table linens and made our food station tables look lovely. Our good was spectacular. All of the guests raved about it. Her staff was top notch. They were so on top of things. They even assigned us a waitress to make sure we had food & drinks, because the bride & groom are extremely busy. I had the best day thanks to all of the wonderful staff!

Choosing Chef's Garden to cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made. Jennifer was with us to help make any decisions we needed help on no matter how small or big. Chef's Garden is absolutely the best! Jennifer really knows what she is doing and is so easy to work with! I can sometimes be indecisive so she suggested a lot of options that we ended up using. She worked with our budget, and the food was amazing!!! We received so many compliments at our wedding, from the specialty cocktails to the details of the food. My husband and I tried other caterers but their food was not the quality as Chef's Garden. Their food is so delicious and so beautifully presented. From the time we did the tasting we knew Chef's Garden was for us! Jennifer was so patient when we did change our appetizers a couple of times. She even provided linens and specialty signs. I wanted something different for the napkins, so her and her team created bow tie napkins which were a hit! If you are looking for a caterer please look no further! Chef's Garden is the way to go!

The food and service from Chef's Garden were absolutely the best! Jennifer and Liz, the owners, went out of their way to make sure our day was special (and it was!). Everyone was raving about how awesome the food was and the service was just as good. On top of that, they helped with our reception (made it look more cohesive, moved some plants, brought some greenery, etc) and even broke down everything and helped to clean up. Their bartender got a lot of compliments as well. Very positive experience. We were all very happy.

Four days after our wedding and the guests are still talking about the amazing food. It was so good that I have already given out several referrals. If you want great food and service at your wedding or event, stop what you're doing and call the Chef's Garden right now! No really, it's been 6 months since our wedding, and guests are still raving about the food at our wedding! Jennifer was a joy to work with and had great suggestions for foods that paired well together. We had a cocktail hour with passed hor d'oeuvres as well as a sit-down dinner. The shrimp and grits on a fried green tomato was my favorite appetizer! The food and service was perfect. We also hired bartenders through them, who were great. The Chef's Garden went above and beyond my expectations during the entire planning process and, more importantly, on our wedding day. We recommend them every chance we get and we will definitely use them again!

The Chef's Garden hands down has the tastiest food! I am a huge food person and appreciate good food. The Chef's Garden provided delicious food with amazing presentations. Jennifer did an amazing job staying around my budget too! I was extremely impressed with the food that was presented on my wedding night! I had so many compliments on how good the food was! Jennifer did a wonderful job with incorporating my vision for the layout as well. She also took care of ordering the linens and runners for all of the tables and food stations after my input. On a side note, I would ask where the remaining food goes at the end of the night and I have read other reviews about being served small bites of food upon arrival, this was not our case, it didn't bother me and I didn't expect it. I would have liked a glass of champagne though, that would have been a nice touch upon our arrival :) I would recommend The Chef's Gardens to anyone!

Words cannot begin to express our satisfaction and appreciation with the services provided by Jennifer and The Chef’s Garden team this past June for our wedding! We truly could not have had our dream wedding reception without their help!

Neither of us had tried The Chef’s Garden cuisine prior to our wedding tasting, however, the food was incredible! Specifically, we went with a plated dinner consisting of grouper or a New York strip steal. Both dishes were treats to the palate, and presentation was superb!

In addition to food catering, we enlisted Jennifer’s assistant with floral décor as well as wedding coordination. Regarding floral décor, Jennifer took our vague idea/concept, and made arrangements that we never imagined possible. Additionally, it should be noted that we sprung the idea of floral décor on her late in our planning, but she still carried it out impeccably!

With respect to wedding coordination, although we had a good grasp on what we desired, Jennifer made sure it was completely carried out, while also remaining sensitive to our budget. She also ensured our sanity, quenched our anxiety, and allowed us to focus on each other and our families, rather than having to worry about whether or not everything would be ok at the reception.

Overall, we, as well as our families, friends, and guests can not stop raving about our wedding reception (which was about 2 months ago). We are sincerely grateful and thankful to Jennifer and the Chef’s garden staff and team. Everyone we met with was professional, receptive to feedback, and genuinely appeared excited about making our wedding a success!

Absolutely perfect! The Chef's Garden was SO delicious and provided amazing food for our wedding! Our guests raved about the amazing menu all night, and still are weeks later! Liz (owner) was easy to work with, and accommodating to my schedule to ensure the event would be perfect and flow smoothly. These folks were as professional and treated us like family. We had a Cajun / Florida mix of guest which included botb family and friends. All had great things to say about the food and the service provided for this special occasion. It was a great peace of mind knowing we were in good hands due to the fact we live 2 hours away and couldn't be hands on. We met with them told them what we wanted, had a tasting and they made it happen. It was a stress free partnership and I'm forever grateful. Every last detail was thought of and executed perfectly by Chef's Garden- from the taste of the food to the attention from the wait staff. Everyone was given ample time to finish each course of the meal and during cocktail hour, the appetizers and drinks were constantly passed around by staff- people never came across an empty tray. One thing I loved was that the wait staff brought appetizers and drinks down to the family while post ceremony pictures were being taken so that we didn't miss out on them. People kept telling me that the bride & groom would have no time to eat their meal at the reception, but we had ample time to eat every bite. The wait staff was so attentive and asked us several times if we needed more time to finish our plates. People are still talking to us about the amazing plate presentation and delicious taste of everything served. Chef's Garden was so fun to work with- they were great on giving suggestions and working with our budget. I will forever recommend them to anyone I hear of looking for a catering service!

If you are having a wedding in Northeast Florida, use the Chef's Garden for coordinating and catering. Jennifer Corrente is worth her weight in GOLD on the day of, but even more so leading up to it. She has the incredible ability to see the big picture and take your best ideas and spin them into an evening beyond wildest imagination. I am so thankful I used her. Leading up to the wedding, rain was expected...and not just a few showers, 70-90% depending on the time of day! She was calm and quickly contacted vendors for possible back up options, contract reconfigurations and called me with ALL the info I needed before I could even start to panic. On the day of, she made sure everything ran smoothly, and even took the time to make sure I had a full drink or needed a piece of cake, anything. My first reaction when I saw the final room was like the wind had been knocked out of me, it looked so stunning! I couldn't believe it was MY wedding. It was out of a movie. Jen's vision and my vision were perfectly executed on the day of! My parents were so impressed with her professionalism and I was so thankful to have had her nearby. Truly a phenomenal value and a great coordinator.

The food was also a hit! Shrimp and grits and beef short rib that was melt in your mouth...our guests loved it! Also, the brie appetizer was SO good! The staff was great, helpful and efficient. It was awesome working with the Chef's Garden from start to finish.

I have attended many weddings and catered events and the food is usually classified at "wedding food", not good or bad, just ordinary. The food that Chef's Garden served at my daughter's wedding however could only be called exceptional. At every table the plates were returned to the kitchen empty. My guests raved that the beef was perfectly cooked and hot when it was served and many have asked for the mashed potato recipe. A vegetarian that attended actually had to try the beef because it looked that good. The service was exceptional and they staff could not have been more helpful. If you want the food to shine at your wedding or catered affair, Chef's Garden is the caterer you will want to use.

The Chef's Garden provided such great service and food. All night long my guests were asking me who did the food. Everything tasted great. I was able to meet with the planner quite a few times to get my vision right and they did a great job.

I’ll start with – DELICIOUS! Thank you for the wonderful food service last evening. More people stopped me to specifically comment on the food – and then they would begin describing what they were eating and why it had been so good. The DJ’s girlfriend even tracked me down to tell me how many events she attends and how fantastic THIS food was.

Kudos, too, for such fabulous staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and smiley! Probably my favorite part was when trays of food and water showed up after the ceremony while we took pictures. Thank you for thinking to track down the bride and groom with a tray of hors d’oeuvres.

Thanks, too, for washing, drying and packing our special glasses and the cake knives – and then packaging the leftovers for us. So many little touches that made for one fantastic evening.

I LOVED my caterer! They were recommended by my venue, Palm Valley Gardens, & the food was DELICIOUS, & they went out of their way to help us make a menu that was special & significant. We did a themed cocktail hour (Jamaican~ to celebrate our 1st vacation together!), & at their suggestion, incorporated a family recipe from each side for the dinner menu. Our families were so touched. I also thought they were an excellent value for the really quality food that you get. Lauren even sent us a sweet, follow up congrats note after the wedding! Would definitely recommend them!

AMAZING food and service!!! I could not have asked for a better caterer! Everything the Chef's Garden did was top knotch, including helping me with coordinating the wedding, the service & the food. I have to admit I was skeptical when it came to food for our reception. I absolutely hate wedding food. Not matter how nice the event, the food is always over cooked and dry. This was not the case at all when it came to Chef’s Garden. I was amazed at how many compliments I received on the food. It really was delicious! They went out of their way to cater to us. The staff (especially Lauren) made sure I was taken care of. She had a plate set aside for me for when I could actually find time to eat. If it wasn’t for her, I seriously doubt I would have eaten at all. I highly recommend Chef’s Garden!

Jennifer and The Chef's Garden made my wedding a dream come true. Throughout the planning process, I found many vendors to be inattentive, but Jennifer was always one step ahead of me. She not only directs the most delicious catering company in town, Jennifer coordinates the most beautiful weddings Jacksonville has ever seen. Chef's Garden was a perfect fit for our February wedding in Ponte Vedra Beach! We wanted something different from the typical and higher quality than what you'd normally expect but still at a reasonable price point. Chef's Garden went absolutely above and beyond. Communication was perfect and they always readily answered my questions promptly. The chef truly cares about his craft and that shows in the quality he presents. The food was absolutely superb! We're still getting compliments and have heard over and over again that it was the "best wedding food" people have ever had. I mainly spoke with Jennifer who is a great asset to Chef's Garden. She's so kind and helpful but still organized and absolutely knows what she is doing. Throughout the entire process, I never felt rushed or pushed into anything which is rare in the wedding industry. Bottom line, if you choose Chef's Garden for your next event you will not be disappointed!

I used The Chef's Garden for my wedding this September and it was nothing less than perfect! My guests are still raving about how DELICIOUS the food. Everything from the mini tacos and mini BLTs to the hand made pastas and sauces to the fresh sushi was amazing. Jennifer and Liz were a pleasure to work with and the staff the day of the wedding were amazing! We had one staff member who was just dedicated to me and my husband so if we needed anything. It was the wedding of my dreams, thanks to them!

I have since worked with them on a few events- from a baby shower to a birthday party. Everything is always delicious and done to perfection! The flower arrangements created by Jennifer are some of the best I have ever seen!!!

I worked with the chefs garden for my september 25 wedding at the Cummer Art and Gardens in jacksonville, fl. Liz was great to with. She had tons of great ideas to make my event special! On the day of the event the food was fabulous!! The set up was beautiful and very photogenic and tasted great! They were very apt to working within my budget. Traci was my event manager for the food, and she was wonderful! She brought my husband and I dinner and made sure we were taken care of and had a great time. They also did our bars which were a hit and equally as beautiful!!! Thanks everyone froms Chef's Garden!!!

I feel so grateful for the quality and service The Chef's Garden provided on our Wedding Day! I received so many compliments on the food from guests... even the picky ones! Their prices were very competitive which was important to my husband and I because we were a bride and groom on a budget paying for everything ourselves, and yet, they treated us like we were top paying VIP's. They played a very big roll in making day perfect, which it was. I can't thank them enough and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who wants amazing food, service, and quality!

As a bride planning a wedding from out-of-state I had a lot of details to worry about but when I hired The Chef's Garden Jennifer and Alex took away so much of that burden. They were so detail oriented and on top of everything that I was able to relax and put my trust in them- and they met every expectation. I cannot say what a big part they played in my mental sanity through the planning process and on the day of the wedding.

My husband is Persian and we wanted to include Persian foods in our wedding menu. The Chef's Garden was one of the few caterers we found in Jacksonville who was excited to work with us on coming up with a unique menu. They were very flexible in meeting with me when I was in from out of town for tastings, made great suggestions for Persian appetizers and entrees, and did a great job learning one of my husband's very difficult family recipes!

On the big day everything was delicious and exactly as promised. We received many many compliments on the food from all our guests (American and Persian) and I loved that it tasted like restaurant quality food...not the typical catering fare you have at so many events. I would recommend them to everyone.

Chef's Garden catered my daughters wedding reception at the Ribault Club in Jacksonville, FL and did an abosolutely outstanding job.
They were more than happy to do a tasting for us several months in advance and included a good variety of their menu items.
The food was superb, the service was impecable. It was so nice that the servers came outside with trays of glasses of wine and also hor d’oeuvres for the bridal party and family while portraits were being taken.
If I ever have need for catering services, the Chef's Garden will be my only choice.

We could not be more thrilled with The Chef's Garden and Jennifer Corrente!

We worked with them for our rehearsal dinner (11/13/09) and wedding (11/14/09). Everything turned out perfectly- the food, the service- the whole thing!

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has raved to us and my family about how utterly delicious the food was! Our guests LOVED the perfect menus that Jennifer helped us create for both occasions (Mexican fiesta and Southern vignettes). We have heard more compliments that people were so fully and happy and said it was the best food ever.

The wedding was the most spectacular event of all- with fried chicken and waffles, mac and cheese, shrimp and grits- every bite was heaven! And I know because the wonderful staff prepared us a plate (yes, I actually did get to eat at my own wedding!) and a wonderful take-away bag.

Beyond the food, Jennifer, Liz and the servers and staff we worked with really made the experience. Jennifer is a master of detail and planning. Her tireless work made the wedding. She listened to everything I said, took in my vision and made it happen. I would recommend her as a coordinator to anyone. I really couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the wedding come together and it was invaluable having Jennifer there, keeping everything running so smoothly and everyone happy. She has so much good insight and really keeps up with current wedding trends but also knows what will really work when it comes to the day's timeline, vendor choices and other important details. She also has great connections with other wedding vendors, which made it so much easier, especially when planning a wedding from a distance. I am so grateful to her for making the most special day that much more relaxing and happy for us. She is capable, competent and amazing!

The bartenders and waiters we had at our rehearsal dinner and wedding were professional and friendly and added to the wonderful atmosphere at the wedding. Food was plentiful, service was smooth.

We are just so happy that we worked with The Chef's Garden for our wedding. I'm happy to share plenty more details with anyone who would like them and I would definitely recommend this outstanding company!

Liz, Jennifer and their crew were ultimate professionals, but made me feel my event was the only one they had on their plates. The Chef's Garden did an amazing job, I highly recommend them. Jennifer is extremely helpful and willing to work with any budget. She had great ideas for linens as well as miscellaneous details that made our event really special. One of my favorite parts about our cocktail hour was the specialty drinks that Chefs Garden created. They displayed the drinks in big jars with a beautiful cardstock design wrapped around the jar that incorporated the paisley theme we had for our wedding.
The service at our wedding was spectacular - our guests made friends with all of the Chef's Garden staff. I was worried our plated dinner would take too long, but the staff did a great job of moving everything along and the food was fabulous. I changed my mind about our menu a dozen times, but Jennifer was extremely patient and understanding. I only wish I lived in Jacksonville to use their services for other events!

My wedding day came right out of my dreams. It was even more than I could have ever imagined. Every detail was accounted for. I am a southern girl and wanted a southern wedding, most importantly the food! With fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, chicken biscuts, collard greens, strawberry salad, and there is much more! To this day I am still getting compliments on the food and reception. They would present me options and I would tell them what I did and did not like. I would tell them an idea I had and they made it 10 times better! They came up with unique ideas and how to incorporate everything that I wanted into my dream wedding. They really could see a vision in the reception hall and this helped to make everything flow so easily.
They really did take care of most everything else, with vendors and rentals. Jennifer even did all of my flowers and they were beautiful. She even recommended a make-up artist that was fabulous.
I was so excited to see my mock up table, my dream was coming true right before my eyes! They know what is important and what will look great!
The staff was great and everyone who works there is great as well. They even made a to-go basket for my husband and I, because we all know that the bride and groom rarely get to eat!
If you want a fabulous wedding that is everything you ever dreamed about, you will pick the Chef's Garden, such class is very hard to find these days!

Every detail was tended to. They started off wanting to know the food interests of the Bride and Groom, their lifestyle and asking many other questions determine the variety of food. We had a destination wedding. We met three times (one was a tasting) for several hours and spent much time e-mailing & on the phone. I KNEW right away that the food would be delicious and experienced an immediate trust in their quality and interest in making our event run smoothly. The servers were well-trained and responsive. All of the food was exceptional, beautifully served as well as interesting. We had 300+ and many commented that they never had to wait to be served. Chef's Garden handled the linen rental for us and spent much time helping us determine what would work and look best. They booked and supervised the bartending staff and ordered plates, cloth napkins and silverware. Liz and Jennifer worked with our florist to incorporate arrangements that would work well with the food placement and be pleasing to the eye. Our experience with them was better than I ever imagined and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Tony (Chef), Liz and Jennifer were very professional, have great imaginations and went to great lengths to make our evening perfect. We had VERY happy guests and a delighted Bride, Groom and Parents of the Bride.

I LOVE THE CHEF'S GARDEN. THEY ARE FANTASTIC!

Our food was amazing! We have received numerous compliments from our guests. And I have to admit, after attending a countless number of weddings, I know we picked the best caterers in Jacksonville. The menu was designed around a southern, down-home, not too heavy,fun meal. To name a few items, the guests were welcomed with sweet tea in mason jars, blue crab cakes and fried green tomatoes. The dinner offered shrimp and grits, collard greens and buttermilk biscuits with honey butter. In addition, we had mini sirloin burgers and french fries served in a unique way. Everything was as delicious as it sounds.

Not only did the Chef�s Garden do an amazing job at catering, they also planned, organized and coordinated the entire reception. Liz and Jennifer contributed so many creative ideas that made our night special and different from any other wedding. They gave our wedding so much personality. They were flexible and even looked for ways to cut costs. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and they enjoyed being there. The staff went well out of their way to make all of our guests happy. And they made sure that the bride and groom were taken care of.

The delicious, real southern food, unique presentation and quality service added to the whole feel of the evening. Liz and Jennifer truly had a sincere desire to make our wedding reception perfect in every way.
I will forever recommend Chef�s Garden to all my friends! Thank you to everyone at the Chef�s Garden.

We absolutely loved working with Elizabeth and Chef's Garden. I was a ease knowing my event was in capable hands with her team so I could relax and enjoy the day. Everything was wonderful and we received lots of compliments from our guests on the quality of the food- especially the shrimp and grits. We had our wedding at the San Marco Preservation Hall followed by the reception at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Jennifer Earnest with Chef's Garden provided the catering and Madyson Kovatch wedding planning services, which is an option I would highly recommend, also offered through Chef's Garden. We chose the essential planning services which included 3 planning sessions with Madyson and thereafter she basically took care of coordinating all of the other vendors, rehearsal, and ensuring everything went smoothly the day of the big event.

Everything did go smoothly thanks to the above 2 wonderful professionals who clearly know what they are doing and do it very well. I did not anticipate the whole wedding process to be so stressful. Needless to say, I cannot imaging what it would have been like without their help and guidance.

Jennifer did a fantastic job helping us with the menu, having multiple tastings to ensure that we were happy with the food and presentation, as this was very important to us. It represents who you are as a couple and besides, the tastings were awesome!! In the end, the food was very good. We got LOTS of compliments from our guests. The entire event, which is really all about the details, was everything I hoped for and more. Madyson did a great job throughout and especially the day of, attending to everything so that we could actually enjoy the day, relax (sort of), and let if unfold.

I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding. I would highly recommend Jennifer, her staff, and Madyson to anyone planning theirs.

Jennifer and her team were amazing for our Cummerbund wedding. She and her chefs worked with us to tailor the menu just to our liking. Everything was executed well and very professional. The guests had many compliments about the food, and having servers pay attention to our needs and bring us food and drinks during the reception allowed us to enjoy it worry free. She also provided the linens, which was a big help to us since we did our own flowers, and provided an excellent day-of coordinator. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing!! They were very easy to work with and made some great suggestions. Apparently they were late showing up for set up, but I didn't know that until several days later. It could have been an issue with beer and wine not getting cold in time but it wasn't (as far as I know). They were super flexible along the way when we made changes or requests along the way re: the menu. Would definitely recommend!

Food was very important to our wedding and we wanted to make sure we got the best bang for our buck. We fortunately found Chef's Garden and we are extremely pleased with our selection. Elizabeth communicated with us from the very beginning and was at our wedding. She answered all our questions via email and text message. The food was simply delicious. If you don't see a food item on their menu, tell them-they most likely can make it. People still are talking about how good the food was. They decorated the food buffet table beautifully, and made it match the rest of my wedding decoration. The wait staff was very attentive and respectful. Very pleased!!

When we first met Jen, we knew we were in great hands! She had such a charismatic personality and gave us the impression that nothing was beyond their capabilities. From our very first meeting, up to the final meeting before the wedding, we had gone back and forth on the style of dining and the food theme. Throughout it all, Jen could not have been more accommodating and responsive to any changes we wanted to make! She was very resourceful and worked closely with us to make sure the end product was everything we dreamed. She even worked with our florist to coordinate the fine details such as serving plates. On the day of our wedding, and even 'till this day, guests have raved about the taste and quality of not only our food, but of our cocktails as well! Their bartenders are top notch and they were able to mix drinks based on speciality recipes that we created. Their presentation was amazing and their staff could not have been more professional. We are so lucky to have had the chance to work with Jen and her talented team at the Chef's Garden, because I know our wedding would not have been as successful if they were not there! Thank you so much Chef's Garden for making our wedding an experience we shall never forget!!!!

We decided to do a plated dinner for our 150 guest and Chef's Gardens service made us feel like we were their most valued customers. The food was wonderful and the team is fun and professional.
