Our wedding experience through the Chapel of Orange (thanks to Melissa & Cheryl) from our very first consult visit through to its conclusion was enjoyable, positively memorable, and most importantly - SO EASY!!!
Initially, my wife and I didn’t believe we would be able to locate a wedding venue to move forward with our vision for an intimate and whimsical wedding aesthetic. So much so that we were a hair trigger away from eloping. Thankfully, as a final measure, we decided to create a checklist of required items that a wedding venue had to have for us to consider moving forward with a wedding including but not limited to; 1) an organic set of barebones / overall aesthetic that would pair well with a playful and lighthearted whimsical evening themed wedding aesthetic that in no way resembled the typical cookie cutter wedding 2) efficiently organized with strong vendor relations and/or recommendations, and 3) cost effective in the context of a smaller guest list of about 70.
From the thoughtfully salvaged bricks from a to-be torn down structure in Europe that made up the archways of the reception area to the beautiful garden area rich with lush plants flowers nestled cozily between the ceremony and reception areas, the Chapel of Orange had checked off every box we had without us having to compromise. The well oiled machine that was Melissa and Cheryl far fostered a positive wedding planning experience as they handled EVERYTHING in such an unflappable manner. In addition to coordinating and scheduling design appointments, Melissa coordinated the vendors running their part correctly from the florist, to the videographer, to the Photo Booth, to the DJ, to the caterer, to the cake designer, and all the way down the list to the highly talented photographer Ashley Paige. Melissa also gave us a month by month wedding checklist to follow along to at the very start which made the ongoing planning process easy to follow while also simultaneously reducing any wedding related anxiety stemming from the feeling that we had forgotten some important detail along the way.
Melissa’s incredibly consistent and reliable communication as well as clear direction cut any unnecessary internal and external noise that went into the wedding process. Dates for big decisions such as our food tasting, table design, and final rehearsal were planned well in advance, allowing us to do nothing more than be present and direct the final decisions. Additionally, Melissa facilitated for the florist consult date and the DJ online phone meeting to verify lighting and song choices. The day of rehearsal, we dropped off all our supplemental DIY designs for our themed wedding and Melissa handled the rest of set-up.
The day of the wedding was smooth like butter; Melissa had… 1) our parking spaces reserved with bright orange cones for us as well members of the wedding party, 2) boutonnieres ready and pinned members of the wedding party as they arrived 3) both the groom and bride’s prep rooms staged and ready to go, 4) and all vendors on standby and ready for instruction. I have no doubt that Melissa handled so many more fires behind the scenes as my wife and I didn’t have a single hiccup or moment where we had to step away to address a concern. It was marvelous, and the best day of our lives.
TLDR: The Chapel of Orange runs like a well cared for and harmonious machine headed by Melissa and Cheryl. At each step of the way, they took the feedback we had the day of our wedding, executed the upper limit of potential we had for our whimsical garden wedding.

It's been a little over a week since my daughter got married at the Chapel of Orange. Our experience with Chapel of Orange was AMAZING! It truly is a one-stop shop. The caterer Cheryl, the owner, uses is top-notch. The food was SO good and they were also very accommodating with our guests' dietary needs, such as dairy free, gluten free, vegan, and they were even able to coordinate and have a Kosher meal for one of our guests who required a Kosher meal! The cake my daughter ordered from the Los Alamitos bakery, one of the bakeries Cheryl uses, was beautiful and delicious! The florist, Dizzy Daisy Weddings, did a beautiful job with all the flower arrangements. The pianist, My Tran, was a wonderful piano player, and the DJ was also great and played music in the style that my daughter and her fiancé had requested. Melissa, the wedding coordinator, was just amazing all throughout the whole wedding, and we didn't have to worry about anything! She was one step ahead the whole day and had even gathered and put all the things we had brought to be used for the wedding in one place for us to easily gather to take home! The whole place is just so beautiful...from the chapel, to the garden patio, to the reception room with a beautiful copper ceiling. The Chapel of Orange is truly the BEST! -

I was recently at a wedding at the Chapel of Orange and truly enjoyed every aspect of it. The chapel was quaint, and the ceremony lovely. The gardens, where we had cocktail hour and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while waiting for the couple to return from getting photos, were lovely. I have to say I've never seen a more enchanted ballroom. It was simply breathtaking the moment you walked in. In a word, "Stunning". The food was the best I've ever had at a wedding, and with a big family, I've been to a number of weddings. I hope to come to another one at the Chapel of Orange. Keep up the good work! -

Whenever someone I know has a wedding, I always recommend this place.
The right atmosphere for our ceremony. The warmth of the staff. When we discussed our English difficulties, they helped us find staff who could speak Japanese. We are very grateful. -

Beautiful Place for a Special Event
We recently attended a wedding at the Chapel of Orange. It was one of the nicest events I've been to in a long time. Very convenient to have the ceremony and reception together. As a guest but also in the wedding party I'm not sure of the pricing aspect but I do know the food was excellent! Each table had a "theme" and was uniquely decorated right down to the china. Absolutely stunning!
Cheryl and Melissa know their stuff... very helpful and professional... did everything to make everyone's night so memorable!! -

When my now husband and I began our wedding planning, we immediately knew that we had to do something different. We were faced with the challenge of finding a venue and vendors who could think outside of the typical wedding box in order to help execute our vision. The minute we walked into the Chapel of Orange and met Cheryl and Melissa, we knew we found our wedding "home".
Not only were we provided with top notch vendors, but ones who appreciated the creativity we challenged them with. Melissa and Cheryl guided us through every step of the way and offered their expertise tailored towards our vision.
Every time I had a question, Cheryl was quick in responding in the most kind and professional way. When the day came, I was astounded to experience the friendliest folks helping to ensure that everything and everyone was where it/they should be and the entire event coasted along seamlessly.
From the custom wedding design and meal tasting, through the ceremony and reception, all the way to our sendoff, we enjoyed the entire process, stress-free. Our guests raved about the venue and staff -- one guest who needed ice to help an injury that occurred several weeks before our wedding was supplied with ice and was able to stay for the entire event. That extra care speaks volumes to the amazing staff at the Chapel of Orange!
We will never forget our wedding day and how beautifully everything came together. Huge thanks to Cheryl, Melissa, and all of the top notch vendors working behind the scenes! -

Chapel of Orange
The Chapel of Orange is the best wedding venue in Orange County!! The owner, Cheryl, has the best personality and so much experience which made the whole experience a joy! The venue is beyond charming! It begins with the quaint, welcoming, well decorated garden and welcome table. The banquet room has an old world charm and warmth that creates the best atmosphere. The Chapel of Orange offers several packages that are flexible. You can add on to the packages to meet all your needs, however the basic package includes everything you would need. The prices are lower than other wedding venues. However, this does not mean lower quality and service. The entire staff is professional, kind and great to work with. From the start Cheryl made the whole experience STRESS free. She is absolutely amazing!! I thought I would be overwhelmed to choose decorations and colors. Not with Cheryl around. She asked me my favorite color and within a half an hour she guided me in choosing the most beautiful color scheme, decorations and cake design. She has an entire storage room filled with unique decorations, styles and accent pieces. Coordinating the rest of event was effortless also. She answered all my emails promptly making me always feel at ease. She sent me reminder emails for things like final head count, food choices, payments, etc. Cheryl has a contract with two hotels about two miles from the venue which offer a discount for guests if needed. They were also easy to work with. From the minute we arrived at the Chapel on the day of our event was absolutely magical!! Cheryl was there along with her assistant Melissa. They both had the event running smoothly all evening. The timeline Cheryl provided along with other suggestions was so helpful! We had 82 guests attend. The chef prepared the most delicious appetizers and entrees. The banquet room had plenty of room for our guests, the DJ, the bar and dancing. At the Photo Booth, two photos were printed. One went to the guests and one was placed in a photo album in which guests wrote comments to us. What a special way to remember our day. She sent us off with all our guests lined up in the garden with a bubble machine. Everyone was cheering. It was so special. I more than highly recommend The Chaple of Orange for you wedding!!! It was truley a day we will never forget. -

I wanted to express my gratitude to Cheryl and Melissa for planning and making our wedding so perfect. I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful and amazing place to have our special day (5/27/2023). When my husband and I began our wedding venue search, we thought it was going to be stressful and expensive. However, we happened upon Chapel of Orange, and they offer an array of wedding packages. We wanted a small ceremony, just under 40 guests. Most other venues have a 50 to 100 guest minimum, but Chapel of Orange had an option for 40 guests, which was just what we needed! Plus, you get to customize your package with what you want. For us, we chose to add on a photographer, video, florals, appetizers, and banquet room. This made the wedding planning process stress free! The package we chose also included the wedding cake and soft drinks. Also, they have very nice decor they use for the tables in the banquet room and the wedding favors table (the only thing my husband and I purchased for our decorations were the pew flowers and flowers for the arch). Melissa did a great job at setting up all the decor! Thank you so much Cheryl and Melissa for making our wedding amazing!! -

My husband and I got married at the chapel of Orange on 10/7/2023 and having the chapel of Orange be our wedding location was the best decision!!!! You have the option of having the ceremony either inside the chapel or in the garden. Both are absolutely stunning but I chose the garden. We wanted a whimsical garden ceremony. The reception banquet is so grand! We had 140 people at our wedding and everyone fit great!!! Cheryl and Melissa and their team sealed our decision of choosing the chapel for our wedding. Their professionalism and customer service were 100%. Cheryl has sooo much decor to choose from. Walking through her decor room was a dream. We had so many guest compliment the food, the drinks, the music vibes, the cake, and of course the venue itself. It’s so beautiful. Without Cheryl and Melissa’s help I would have not had a perfect wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect night. We are so blessed to have gotten married at the chapel. We love Cheryl and Melissa and their entire staff!! ❤️❤️ -

I got married here in April and it was absolutely perfect. There were ZERO stresses. We chose the Ultimate Fairy Tale All Inclusive Package. The wedding planning was so easy all thanks to Cheryl. The vendors that Cheryl provides are top choice, in particular Thy at Oceanic Flowers was wonderful and I absolutely LOVED my flower arrangements. Also, our photographer was Sarah Block and the photos turned out amazing, far surpassing my expectations!
We had our wedding and reception in the garden, the weather was perfect and the setup was stunning. All of our guests loved every minute!

,, Sent on 11/01/2021Loveliest Wedding Venue in a historic setting
My daughter’s beautiful wedding at The Chapel of Orange would have never happened had it not been for the amazing efforts of Cheryl Roberts Gale, wedding director and owner of the chapel. Due to our Groom being in the US Marine Corp, we only had two weeks to make it happen.
Luckily, Cheryl had a cancellation, and she was able to take us under her wing. Not only did Cheryl and her wonderful assistant Melissa pull it all together in that timeframe, but they also made it the most beautiful affair. The photographers, the caterers, the florist and the wedding cake bakery were all organized for us. All we had to do is to choose what we wanted. It was so wonderful to be able to focus 100% on my daughter and her groom while they made it all work.
We loved the historic chapel and the lovely garden nestled just steps outside its door. The dining hall has a wonderful rustic elegance. The Chapel of Orange has my highest recommendation.

I had googled, "All Inclusive Wedding Package in California" and the Chapel of Orange popped up! We made an appointment with Cheryl and visited. The neighborhood was beautiful and the chapel was absolutely stunning. From the moment we walked into the chapel, I knew that my husband and I were going to get married there. Cheryl, the owner, was very kind and took her time with us on the tour. The fact that the entire wedding would take place at her chapel was perfect! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception hall, everything was PERFECT! We immediately booked end of October and were set to have our wedding! Cheryl was very responsive all my emails and questions and held my hand the whole way through. She gave me timelines (from 1 year timelines to day of), she provided all her vendors to me (which were all AMAZING), and she provided us with several coordinators. Our goal was to not make a single invited person work on our wedding day. I've been to too many weddings where people came early to set up and stayed late to tear down and that was the last thing we wanted. Cheryl made sure of that. She was extremely accommodating and the sweetest person to have worked with. We feel so blessed to have met her; especially during the time of COVID. She is a wonderful person with a beautiful chapel and an amazing, superstar team. The entire day flowed easily and there was never a single hiccup. I HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend to hold your wedding here! -

In summer 2021, we eloped at the Chapel of Orange in Orange, CA and it was GREAT! I do wish the package was a two-hour package rather than a one-hour package, but although it was a bit rushed it was still wonderful. The chapel is lovely, and the ready room is nicely detailed and makes for beautiful photo opportunities. In fact, the whole venue has nice vignettes that provide a wide variety for wedding portraits – so that was perfect for our needs since we did not plan to travel anywhere else with the photographer for portraits. As for the process of planning the wedding – it was very smooth and straightforward. The owner, Cheryl, was a delight to work with and she had local vendors to use for officiant, flowers, cake and photography that were not only very professional – their work was stellar! This was a destination wedding for us, so I needed to accomplish all the planning remotely with 6 weeks from booking to ceremony, via phone and email mainly. I had previous experience with wedding planning, so I knew exactly what we wanted for flower colors and style and vision of what would work well for a quick set-up/tear-down for our limited time on the property. Dana at the The Dizzy Daisy created the perfect bouquet and pew arrangements. The cake option with the elopement package included many tasty choices, more than I would have expected, and the cake was to die for – it was SO good! (We chose the lemon cake.) Also, it was decorated with an elegant swirl pattern. So, I just brought along a cake topper appropriate for the size of the cake and while I was busy getting ready and photographed, Cheryl put the finishing touches on our cake table. We were also very happy with the photographer Cheryl secured for us, Kristen Smetona. I do wish we had more time with her that day, but nonetheless she took some great photos given the limited time we had. We cherish the memories everyday as we pass our framed photos throughout the house. Being a destination wedding, the only piece that was left to plan was finding a good hair/makeup artist. After some time searching, I settled on BreLuxe. Working with BreLuxe went off without a hitch – they came to my hotel so that I was practically ceremony-ready the minute we stepped on property at Chapel of Orange, meaning no minutes were wasted. As a final tip for future destination wedding couples, be aware that you need to secure a California marriage license prior to your ceremony. This may mean needing to plan your travel to include a weekday BEFORE the wedding, because the county office that will give you your license is only open on weekdays, and you both must be present in person to get the license. For us, this meant making our appointment with the county for first thing Monday morning, so there was still 2 hours to get ready and over to the chapel for a 12 noon wedding. Lastly, Chapel of Orange couldn’t be more perfectly located, close to hotels, the county office and our favorite place, Disneyland. -

Where do I even begin?! Cheryl is a miracle worker and she has the best staff and vendors!! My now husband and I had been engaged forever and were tired of waiting, so when COVID closures seemed to lighten up we decided we wanted to get married before the holidays. We live in Orange and walk the neighborhood often so when we started brainstorming venues I kept thinking back to the Chapel of Orange. It was the only venue we ended up visiting & I was sold! We contacted Cheryl to set up a visit on 6/18, took our tour on 6/24 and had our deposit in by 6/28. After that it was full speed ahead. We had a 12 month timeline to fit into 3 and it was way easier to do than you would expect and that is all thanks to Cheryl.
I love so many things about the Chapel - it is charming and exactly what we were looking for. We chose the Charming Affair which is an all-inclusive package for up to 50 guests. You can get married in either the Chapel or the garden and have your reception in either the garden or the banquet room. We went with garden ceremony and reception in the banquet hall. You have a few options for cake and florals, which really makes it easy for someone like me who is indecisive and overwhelmed by decisions, not to mention our expedited timeline. Both our cake and florals turned out exactly how I envisioned! The catering company she works with is soo good! I would go there for dinner if they had a restaurant! And the DJ company was so great and easy to work with! All of the vendors know the chapel very well so everything is really seamless.
When I say all-inclusive I mean it! Cheryl loves what she does & has a collection of all things wedding – aisle runners, linens, chargers, centerpieces, flower girl baskets, ring bearer boxes and pillows, card boxes, cake stands, chairs, the list goes on and on. You can bring your own officiant or use one of their references at no additional charge. There are things you can add on if you so choose. You can add unlimited beer & wine for a very small fee, which we did. We had a photographer friend in mind who couldn’t make it so we added that on as well. We added an extra hour onto our reception and I am so glad that we did! Our guests had a great time and were so complimentary of the chapel!

We loved everything about our wedding at The Chapel of Orange! Cheryl is the most wonderful and joyous woman who helped make everything perfect. Obviously working through COVID and rescheduling our wedding three times was not ideal but Cheryl held our hands through the chaos until we were able to have the day we felt safe having. Cheryl has everything to create whatever style you envision for your day (literally everything) and we worked with her to pick out every detail. Her reccomended vendors were amazing. At the end of our wedding, while we were so sad that it was over, we were so amazed and happy that everything was literally perfect. Thank you Cheryl! -

The Chapel of Orange was the perfect venue for our wedding. The owner Cheryl is fantastic and made sure that we had nothing to worry about leading up to, and the day of our wedding. Among the different packages that COO offers, we chose the Ultimate Fairytale Package. This option included EVERYTHING: invitations, linens, photographer(s), food (main course and appetizers), cake, photo booth, and more! We couldn’t have been happier with how the day turned out. -

From the moment I went on a tour of this venue I knew it was magical and perfect! Unfortunately due to our guest count it wasn’t a fit BUT when COVID hit we had to cancel our big wedding and I was scrambling to find a plan B. I emailed Cheryl and asked if by any chance we would still get married on our desired date at the Chapel of Orange and she was able to get us in and make our day perfect!
She went above and beyond to make our day special and beautiful. The decor of the building itself is so special and will give your wedding photos the perfect backdrop.
Im so thankful in the midst of a pandemic we were still able to make our wedding day special thanks to Cheryl and the Chapel of Orange, thank you!! -

I absolutely recommend getting married at the Chapel of Orange. I called and spoke with Cheryl who is amazing. She answered all my questions and more. At that time we didn’t know if we were even going to get the chance to have our wedding. Our original plans were dismantled by COVID. Planning a COVID wedding wasn’t easy. It seemed as if there were endless hurdles. We were trying to adjust the plans with some of the original vendors to our updated ones which was a little tricky. The one thing we didn’t have any problems with was the Chapel of Orange and working with Cheryl. She made sure that everything was set up just the way that we wanted and even calmed me down about my anxieties of potential issues. I can’t say enough about her. She loves what she does and she is amazing! They have many different wedding packages that you can choose from. You can customize them to fit your needs. We did the ceremony only and found a local restaurant to have dinner at afterwards. We were trying to stick with our original date. At the time of booking our wedding the time slot to do a small reception at the chapel of Orange wasn’t available. My only advise is if that’s what you want, check in with Cheryl periodically for changes to their availability. Their reception hall is beautiful. If you love character and charm you will love the Chapel of Orange!
Our day turned out beautifully. Even though it wasn’t what we originally planned, we are extremely happy with how it turned out. Thank you Cheryl for all that you do!

I fell in love with this charming venue. Both my husband and I work full time and were planning the wedding ourselves so the fact that this venue had everything organized and planned out for meetings it was easy and stress free planning. Perfect place for an elopement!
They had a wonderful elopement package that was very reasonable (it's shown on the website). The venue is so gorgeous and I'm certain our pictures and video turned out well. We did purchase some extras from the elopement package and I can tell you it was all worth it! Cheryl really knows how to make your day go so super smooth. Seriously, an expert! I have officially called her my "Fairy Godmother" and she was just magical on our day! She organized the vendors, was in charge of the time of things, she set up my cake table and champagne so beautifully. There were just so many touches she made sure was done on my day. I'm still floating on my wedding cloud. Thank you Cheryl. It was an incredible day! -

Our Perfect Wedding Day
We had our wedding at the Chapel of Orange in March, right before the pandemic shutdown. We were absolutely amazed by the professionalism and organization of the chapel’s staff. Cheryl and Berkenda were incredibly attentive and patient with every and any request we had made. Throughout the event, they made sure that we kept to our schedule and that we did not worry about a thing.
In the months preceding the wedding day, Berkenda and Cheryl walked us through every step of the planning process and were very helpful in answering all of our questions. The thought of planning a wedding is often daunting at the start, but doing the all-inclusive package at the Chapel made the planning process a fun and efficient experience. The Chapel has great relationships with vendors ranging from catering to DJ to photography to flowers and even cake, it takes the stress out of finding each individually and gave us more time to enjoy each step of the process.
One of the best things about our wedding day is that everything went perfectly; smooth and without hiccups or complication. It was so magical to see each piece come together in such harmony, it truly was such an incredible day and neither of us had any reason to worry or stress about any of the many arrangements and details, we simply enjoyed the moment. Our guests enjoyed the occasion too, all impressed with the venue and loving their experience. All of our guests raved that every part of the event was absolutely beautiful and elegant. The food, the decor, the flowers, the music - everything was perfect, and customized to our interests. We truly had our dream wedding and we could not have imagined a more magical day. -

After months of searching for a place to hold our ceremony within our budget in L.A. county, we had to expand our search criteria in nearby counties. Luckily, looking at the site of Chapel of Orange, we fell in love with its adorable architectural design & garden. The venue director, Cheryl, was professional, one of the nicest people we’ve met, and she made sure everything was on queue for our wedding day! She made sure that our wedding was beautiful and that everything went smoothly. During the times of the coronavirus, they did take the temperature of the guests that came in the chapel and provide hand sanitizer, to adhere to the governor’s orders and to keep everyone safe. Our guests loved the church. Our photographer that was recommended by Cheryl was able to stream the wedding for those that couldn’t come physically. There are different packages that you can choose from, we chose the ceremony only package. This includes a one-hour rehearsal, 1-2 days prior to your wedding, a two-hour time frame at the venue (where the first hour is to have the bride & groom get ready and get their photos taken), licensed officiant, day-of-ceremony coordinator, and music on the chapel sound system. Of course, you can add more things with an additional cost that is, so we kept it simple and it was still beautiful. My husband and I added a nerdy touch to our wedding ceremony through our songs that we chose. The songs that we chose for them to be played for our wedding party was the Jurassic Park theme by the Piano guys, now the bride going down the aisle was A thousand year by the piano guys, and when the groom & bride exited we played the throne room and end title Star Wars by John Williams. We love to thank Cheryl for giving us the opportunity to have our wedding ceremony at the church during these uncertain times. -

This was the second venue we looked at and we knew that we had to book this place. The value for what is included is worth every penny. Our wedding was just perfect and we had Cheryl to thank for that. She made the planning process so much easier which let me focus on the other details. On the day of, she made sure that everything was taken care of. Her staff are amazing. Save yourself decision-making and book with Chapel of Orange.
OR, spend days and hours looking for the right venue or what you think is the right venue...and find yourself back at the Chapel of Orange.
You have too many things to deal with and fret over when arranging your wedding (especially if you're planning it from out of town, like I did).
There wasn't one time that Cheryl didn't respond, understand what I was trying to ask or have a resolution for what I didn't even know I needed!
Any vendor she suggests is as solid and dependable is she is.
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!
Cheryl is fast-paced, efficient and well-versed in what she does!! She was a total comfort each time I reached out.
The Chapel is beautiful and well-maintained and was perfect for the rehearsal and the Big Day!
Booking with the Chapel/Cheryl allowed me to focus on other aspects of the wedding - despite her busy schedule, Cheryl always greeted me by name and knew exactly where I was in the process. By phone or in person.
I also trusted her referral for music and photography (Ensemble Events) and could not have been more pleased.

I was a guest at my friend’s wedding ceremony and reception that was held at The Chapel of Orange in Old Towne Orange, California. WOW! It is the most romantic, elegant and absolutely gorgeous wedding venue I’ve ever attended! The Chapel is so beautiful and is actually on the National Historic Registry and the reception hall was stunning, designed in a classic, old world European style. Everything about my friend’s wedding was perfect….from the romantic ambience of the Chapel ceremony to the amazing food and super fun music and dancing at the reception. Everyone at the wedding had a wonderful time and I know my friend was absolutely thrilled with her wedding day! -

Our Sept. wedding at Chapel of Orange was simply perfect. We booked over a year in advance, and throughout that year Cheryl (the owner) was very kind and responsive to alllll of my questions. The venue is just gorgeous! So much character and charm, with every detail take care of down to the thought Cheryl put into having the bathroom decor match the feel of the beautiful banquet room. Having the Chapel, Bride/Groom's room, garden area and reception room all right together on the same property makes for a seamless transition which both you and your guests will appreciate. And the grounds make for the perfect backdrop for stunning pictures! Plus, this magical experience is also so affordable. Cheryl does not nickle and dime you, trust me. In fact she really goes out of her way to get you the best deal, and her vendors are excellent! If you are having any doubt, go tour this venue and see for yourself. Chapel of Orange is exquisite! -

An incredible intimate wedding venue for a 20th anniversary milestone vow renewal ceremony. The property has so much to offer in one place- both bridal and groomsmen suites, a charming chapel, a secret garden and a lovely decked out, indoor reception area with a beautiful hearth to have yet another backdrop for amazing photographs. Our coordinator was gracious, flexible and accommodating. Cheryl was receptive to our every need and we are so appreciative for how well she understood how to navigate through logistics so effortlessly. She was reassuring and allowed us to enjoy this special chapter in our lives💕 -

I don’t know where to start, because I am still speechless of how amazing and beautiful our wedding turned out. I can’t say enough positive things about Chapel of Orange and Cheryl.
Everyone kept telling me that planning a wedding would be so much work and cost a fortune, and our wedding ended up completely opposite of that. The price was unbeatable, and everything was included. I have several other friends that signed up for package-type weddings, but had to add on all these extra things, which we didn’t have to. There was enough of everything from flowers, to cake, to wedding invitations and more.
The planning part was a breeze as Cheryl has hosted hundreds of weddings in the past and had everything down to a tee. We received emails of everything that we needed to do and people to contact. Don’t get me wrong, there was so much that was already planned, like food and drinks, but since everyone is different, choices such as wedding cake flavor, and color of flowers had to be done in person by us. The email stated everything: for example, time when we needed to contact the flower company, and all the details. All we had to do was set reminders on our phones.
The wedding day itself flowed so smooth. The vendors, such as photographer and the additional videographer showed up exactly on time and were extremely talented and professional. We decided to pay extra to have off-site at-home video and photos taken. We arrived at the Chapel slightly after the timeline, but the whole staff adapted perfectly. Everything was so well coordinated, and all the staff were great. The DJ kept the party going, Cheryl had everything in full control, and the chefs/servers blew everyone’s mind away with the food. My husband still talks about the chicken and wants me to “figure out how to cook it”
To sum up the wedding, Darren’s 92-year-old grumpy grandpa said that it was the best wedding he has ever been to.

Totally incredible!
We had our wedding December 8th, at The Chapel of Orange, it was Ahhhhhmazing! We had looked at other venues, but the Chapel of Orange was always my first pick, it was Love at first sight! Alyssa did a fantastic job! If you’re looking for a one stop chop look no further, ceremony, reception, food! You won’t be disappointed! -

Having our wedding at the Chapel of Orange was the best decision ever! Cheryl was really easy to communicate with, and did a wonderful job making our day exactly how we wanted it! Since we utilized some of the vendors that the chapel recommended, it was easy and smooth to be able to enjoy the process and not worry about finding vendors. Our guests loved the chapel in its atmosphere and decor... We wish we could do the day again! -

I cannot begin to express how amazing the Chapel of Orange was for our wedding!! Cheryl was there for us to the moment we walked through the door to see the venue, to every question I had along the way, to helping me remember to breath and help get me down the aisle and to fix my train, to then helping me bustle my insane dress to get into our reception and then check on us through out the entire reception. To me she is the reason my wedding was so perfect and everything went so smoothly. But other than Cheryl being amazing, the venue itself is incredible! From the moment we walked through the door we were captivated by the beauty of this venue and it only got more gorgeous when it was set up for our wedding. I couldn't have even imagined a more romantic, special and perfect place for our wedding! Then they had the BEST caterer who made the most incredibleeeee Italian dinner! We could not get enough of the salmon cream sauce fettuccine or the spicy sausage pasta! We even asked for seconds and all our guests were obsessed. The food just could not have been better! Which is super important at a wedding because that is one of the big things guests always remember, how the food was. They even had a wonderful vegetarian butternut squash ravioli and gluten free option! And as if the incredible caterer was enough, the venue also CAME WITH a fantastic florist with the most beautiful floral arrangements they helped me to create, beautiful cake from the Great Dane Baking Company, friendly and awesome bartenders, an awesomeee wedding DJ, the perfect wedding officiant who made the ceremony even more special and personal, and the most kick ass photographer! She knew just where to pose us and took the best shots!! I am so thrilled to see the final product!! (don't worry I'll post them!) Anyways I could literally go on forever about how amazing and FLAWLESS our wedding was and how incredible every single person and vendor who worked on it was the best of the best. But the moral of my novel is, there is no better, more romantic, more beautiful or more perfect place to get married than the Chapel of Orange!! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality!! -
Brian Sent on 05/20/2018With a two-groom wedding on her hands, Cheryl had to deal with Mr. Perfectionist and Mr. Always Right and did so splendidly. We evaluated almost 100 venues from all over Southern California and ended up selecting The Chapel of Orange (less than a mile from home) as the venue because it was the best of all variables.
We had a historic and striking chapel for the ceremony, an intimate outdoor setting for the cocktail hour, and a warm inviting space for the reception all together in a single venue. The concept of a no-surprise- fees wedding package, gave us a realistic and all-inclusive way to budget for our 110 guests without worrying about being nickel and dimed at every turn. The selection of décor, tablescapes, wedding party flowers, DJ, food and beverage, officiant, wine & beer, photographer, wedding planner, cake, invitations… yep – all included.
Instead of us having to check on whether everything was on schedule in the months and weeks leading up to our big day, Cheryl was keeping tabs on everything and sending email reminders as needed. On the day of the event, we weren’t nervous about how things would go, we were oddly calm and able to celebrate in our separate groom’s rooms with a glass (or two) of champagne before the main event -partly because of our solid planning, but mostly because it was all taken care of by Cheryl and her meticulous team.
What we thought: ours was the wedding to beat! What our guests thought: tears upon laughter upon tears showed us that we had struck the right chord of venue, music and vibe. The multiple spaces – outdoor and indoor – made for a great way to be part of the celebrating inside or simply enjoying a glass of wine & conversation out under the market lights in the courtyard.
We’re a couple of pretty challenging guys to “wow”, but our wedding day really was that! -

As soon as we came across the chapel online we knew instantly that this is where we wanted to be married. Cheryl and Alyssa were extremely helpful from the very beginning. They accommodated all of our needs and made our wedding planning process relatively stress free. Alyssa went above and beyond for us to ensure that our wedding went as smoothly as possible and everything would be absolutely perfect for us. We would recommend Chapel of Orange to any couples who were looking for the perfect more traditional wedding setting.

Jamie Sent on 01/11/2018On Labor Day weekend of 2016, my Husband and I were going to the Orange International Street Fair and searching for parking. We happened to park right near the Chapel and were walking by and noticed people setting up for a wedding in the garden. We had no idea that The Chapel of Orange was where we would ultimately be married on 2/18/17, just 5 short months after stumbling upon it! We snuck in where we were greeted by Alyssa Brush (best coordinator ever!) and given a business card as well as set up a meeting to come back the following weekend. We were in awe of the Chapel itself knowing that it was completely original and even more impressed when we saw the newly renovated reception hall. We looked at eachother and gave the nod knowing that this was it before even sitting down for more details. Once we knew that the packages were all inclusive and what that entailed, we chose a wedding date from their already extremely booked calendar which settled our nerves knowing that so many others fell in love with it as well. We immediately jumped into working with Alyssa on selecting invitations, setting up a sweet date night in the reception hall to taste food as well as cake all in one shot, attending an appt with the florist and getting in contact with our photographer and DJ. All of the appointment scheduling was done by Alyssa which made our wedding planning the easiest I could have asked for! All of the vendors suggested by the Chapel were phenomenal and made our day so special. Everything went perfect and we cant thank Alyssa and the entire team at Chapel of Orange enough for the amazing job in executing our wedding. We are getting ready to celebrate our 1 year anniversary in February and still love to walk by the Chapel when we go to the Orange Circle for dinner!

Helen Sent on 11/10/2017I've been married for 6 months now, and I still think about how fun and beautiful my wedding was! I am very blessed to have met Cheryl and so glad I decided to get married at the Chapel of Orange because Cheryl and her team know how to organize weddings!
From the plate settings, to wedding coordination, invitations, food, and DJ they were all fabulous!
This venue is so gorgeous because you cannot find historic landmarks like this in Orange County; the garden is very secluded and charming, and the ballroom is stunning!
Service here is beyond amazing! Cheryl is so professional, generous, punctual and organized. I love her! Alyssa was super too! -

It has amazing chapel for the ceremony , a garden for the cocktail hours , and a medieval style reception hall. They also have different packages that will cater to your wedding needs . Cheryl and Alyssa are very professional and responsive. Our wedding preparation was not easy , but because of their help it came out perfect and organized. From the first day until the last few days before our wedding ,they made sure that we will have the best day of our lives. And yes we did ! Even after a month our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was. We are so grateful and thankful to have found Chapel of Orange ! It is the perfect wedding venue !

My husband and I decided to travel to California to have our wedding and honeymoon all in one, so we chose an elopement ceremony for just the two of us. We researched for what felt like forever but I instantly fell in love with this chapel. Even though we didn't have a traditional wedding, Cheryl and her vendors went way above and beyond to help us make our special day absolutely perfect. They had every detail covered that I can imagine and more, and made sure to accommodate all of our requests and questions. Our wedding felt like a true fairy tale and the photographer and videographer did an exceptional job capturing everything for us. We had a reception once we returned home and all of our guests raved about how beautiful the chapel is and the quality of the photography. Stephanie Sent on 04/28/2016My wedding really was a fairy tale dream come true! Cheryl and her team (and all the vendors) went out of their way to make my day truly unique and special. All our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was and how every detail was "exactly who you are". Our guests thought that my husband and I picked out all the details and decorations, when in fact we did very little. From the moment I met Cheryl I knew I was in good hands. When she asked me what I pictured our wedding day I was at a loss on how to put my dream into words, but when I started trying to describe what I wanted she said she knew exactly what to do for us, and she really did. Cheryl and Alissa always responded to me right away, and all the vendors she picked are truly extraordinary. Chef Kaya put so much love into our food, and every thing was so delicious!! Great Dane Bakery baked us a beautiful and yummy cake and even put our family crest on it, which everyone loved! And my bouquet by Oceanic Flowers was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. All the flowers were gorgeous!! I thought the DJ, Chris Williams, would think we were insane from some of our song selections, but he loved all our choices and even found the perfect songs that fit our style to fill in the gaps. The photographer, Ashley Paige was amazing! She made me feel so beautiful and made our bridal party so comfortable, and that really comes through in our pictures. The best part is that I actually got to ENJOY my wedding! Cheryl even threw in a few surprises for us and I am so grateful for every single thing she did for us. I told her at the end that my husband and I have been together for 8 years and I had to wait a long time for my wedding day, but I would gladly have waited 8 more years since everything was so perfect!
