The Celebration Place was perfect for our destination wedding. They were very flexible as our needs changed with RSVPs, and their delivery crew was very kind and helpful. As a bride planning their own wedding, I was confident booking with them! The condition of their chairs and arch was great, and it all turned out beautifully. They were a great vendor! -

Phenomenal
Setup and take down was smooth, called and let us know when they were on the way, we had a small mishap with the archway because of weather and they came out immediately to fix it! Didn’t even know they came to pick up the chairs and archway. Great and highly recommend -

I can not even describe how excellent the Celebration Place is. 5 stars is not enough, there should be more! My daughter wanted a destination wedding, so we hired Misty for the Best Friend package as well as our planner/coordinator, she went above and beyond for us from day 1 to the very end! We had our venue destroyed in Mexico Beach with 22 days until the wedding and Misty stuck with us through the whole thing including changing locations and venues. She was flexible and made it ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL for my daughter. She did it all for us and all we had to do was show up for the wedding. I was blown away at how beautiful the ceremony and reception was. She even performed the ceremony and it was done so beautifully. She did not let me or my daughter down in any way through all of the changes! I could just go on and on about the excellent treatment we were given. Her actions speak volumes about the way she runs her business. I can not say enough good things about Misty, she is a genuinely good, honest person and a very hard worker and I promise you will not go wrong or be disappointed if you are having a destination wedding or even if you are local by choosing this company! -

Misty was a lifesaver!! I live in TN and was so overwhelmed with school, work, and wedding planning! Misty was available and quick to respond with ideas and solutions to any problems I had. She met with my mom and sister to help the whole family feel they were apart of the planning process! I had the "Best Friend" package and it was BEYOND worth it. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the decor and smoothness of the wedding and reception. She also coordinated with venue, florist, and photographers to make sure things happened when they needed to. You can tell she really cares about you and your day and goes above and beyond to make it special. I'm so thankful and blessed to have worked with Misty! -

Oh my gosh, where do I start?? The Celebration Place took care of every detail for my daughter’s wedding. I thought I could do everything myself until I became overwhelmed a few months from the wedding day. They completely took over all the planning right down to the last detail. I wish I would’ve hired them right away before doing anything else. I can’t say enough wonderful things about every person they have working for them. They made the day extra special by actually letting me enjoy the day instead of running around all day doing things myself. They’re the best for sure! -

The Celebration Place is the best service anyone could ask for on one of the best days of our lives. Misty Curtis is the most professional, flexible event coordinator and event provider we could ask for, working with us every hour of every day to make sure the wedding went smoothly. The day of the wedding, as the doom and gloom of the rain threatened our uncovered beach wedding, Misty remained positive and helpful and always looking to keep us stress free. The day of, she was setting up before we were awake, and stayed well after the night was over tearing down with a smile on her face. Misty truly loves her job, and her years in Panama City Beach make her a well known connection that can get things done.
It's rare to say, but I have no negative review on The Celebration Place and Misty Curtis as the event coordinator. She is the best coordinator for any wedding, hands down, and I hope anyone who is considering a wedding in PCB will look to her for guidance. Thanks again Misty, you're awesome!-

Donna was wonderful to work with over the phone. The guys that set up our arbor worked with me very well and everything was set up as needed. The 8' rectangular reception tables were in very used condition, but still sturdy, so I was really glad I had dark tablecloths to cover everything. -

Misty is my favorite person ever! She is the most amazing wedding coordinator and the sweetest person you could meet! We live 6 hours from Panama City and I wanted my wedding here, so we found Misty and set up an appointment to talk to her about my visions. We met with her a year before the wedding date and she just took the reigns and did everything perfectly! Any time I had a question or concern, she was on the job! She truly made my wedding the best I could imagine! She's my hero and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

The celebration Place has everything and anything you could ever want for your big day. Fantastic people excellent service and over and above anything we could've ever dreamed of. Friendly reasonably priced and very nice set up. Beach settings are the hardest to anticipate and being able to leave it all in their hands and not worry is priceless! Misty and her team with the Celebration Place we're amazing! They had every thing we need from music to chairs! Misty helped contact my other vendors to make sure they would arrive on time and took that worry out of my hands. My mother was at the beginning stages of her second fight with breast cancer and Misty stepped in and picked up the stuff we were going to do ourselves with no extra charge! She made sure my mom was able to enjoy her time at the wedding instead of worry. I could not have asked for a better team to help with my wedding! The Celebration Place is the best wedding coordinators on the Gulf Coast. Misty took my daughter's nautical wedding theme ideas added the finishing touches and created a beautiful wedding beyond our expectations. I asked my daughter what she thought of her wedding day. She replied: "It was perfect". Misty was so pleasant and cheerful to work with during the entire process. Whenever we needed her she was only a phone call, text, or email away. Misty took care of everything leading up to and on the wedding day. She even found the Groom's ring when I lost it before the wedding. Thank you Misty for allowing the Mother of the Bride to enjoy her daughter's wedding day without any worries. -

I rented a bamboo archway, chairs, a sign, and sound system from Celebration Place for my beach wedding. Misty and her staff were great! Everything I rented worked out perfect except the sound system. (In their defense, they told me up front it wasn't the best quality for a beach wedding!) We were able to get the band to help us out with a speaker and mic for the ceremony, thank goodness! The ceremony was beautiful thanks to Celebration Place! -

Rented chairs, shepherds hooks, and sashes for our wedding at Eden Gardens/SunDestin. Very sweet & helpful! They also deliver on Sundays which is something that was pretty hard to find! I would very highly recommend them to any one I know getting married!! -

We were from out of town (SC) and needed to provide a special environment for the rehearsal dinner in Panama City . After choosing the Shrimpboat (excellent and Eddie was great to work with there) we choose Misty at The Celebration Place (Eddie suggested). This is a rental business, so I didn't have to worry with transporting a thing and felt the value of the event was quite reasonable. We had a total of 68 people at the beautiful rehearsal dinner.
Misty was always prompt and so professional as well as personal. Misty and I collaberated on what we wanted and what a great partnership. No matter how many texts, she was always there. Misty is so helpful and gracious. I started late on contacting her and was thankful Misty was available. We had white chair coverings and tablecloths with burlap sashes w/starfish holder. We had a beautiful center of sand/candle in mason jar w/ flower petals and tealights on a beautiful lace burlap runner. Mason jars with name and table number for people to find their table but choose their seat. Chalk board instructions on that entry table. Misty made kid gift bags (we had 13 children at rehearsal) and that was a hit! Lastly, 3 weeks before event, my husband wanted a guitar player for the rehearsal dinner. Misty came thru again. The bride and groom to be both enjoyed the personal touch to some soft classical music. I love love love the beautiful elegant but not over the top way we did rehearsal ! -

Planning a beach wedding venue? I highly recommend the friendly folks at The Celebration Place! Ms. Donna has just about everything you can imagine to make your wedding and reception perfect--all at very reasonable rental prices. She was very professional in working with me out-of-town and emailed me as our event was approaching to confirm all items & make sure I didn't need any additional items and verified all contact information was correct prior to delivery. The delivery guys were on time and friendly as well. -

Misty and Debbie were absolutely amazing!! I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day....just about getting my makeup and dress done and being where I was supposed to be when told. I was highly impressed with their ability to set up everything quickly and they went above and beyond the call of duty on a number of occasions! I highly recommend any one work with them. They are the best out there in the panhandle (especially for those brides out there that are working long distance and destination weddings). I used the celebration place for all of my wedding needs. The min I walked in there to talk to them about renting tables chairs and such misty stood up and asked me if I had a wedding planner. I didn't so I took her up on her offer of helping me with my special day. She was the best. She went to hobby lobby with me picked up my items when they came in with to every vender appt with me. She was there from that day forward to help me with anything I needed. I would recommend misty and the celebration place to anyone. This was the best thing that could've happened to me. ❤ -

The Celebration Place, unlike other places in town, had all the colors of linen I wanted. I was very pleased, as I wanted bold fall colors and not many places had them. Misty was very professional and responsive to my Mother. We got table cloths, napkins, chair covers, outdoor folding chairs, and sashes. Everything was beautiful. They delivered the items and were there on time and everything where it should be.

I started off trying to plan my whole wedding by myself but after it got to be too overwhelming I began looking for a planner; I got some referrals by my friends and I gave Misty at The Celebration Place a call and instantly felt relieved because I knew she had it under control. I also rented my tables, chairs, etc. from her and I am so glad I did, the day of my wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing Misty and her team was there to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a planner or rental equipment for your wedding you should definitely give them a call! Thank you Misty! -

I rented 140 chairs and an aisle runner for my wedding. As much as I saw it, (which was very little, it all happened so fast) everything was perfect. From the booking to the end all contracts, changes --Everything was a breeze with the Celebration Place. -

The day before the wedding i found out my linens didn't fit the chairs properly (i got them from another vendor) and the celebration place fixed me right up no problem!!! They are wonderful!!! I also had my beach chairs from them! -

The Celebration Place was amazing! It was awesome! They were great with all of my changes (I can be quite picky). They got there early and took care of a lot of things that really they didn't have to! Misty was so helpful and creative she made all of my center pieces by hand just for me! She hung these beautiful decorations every where and went all out! They even cleaned up after the event! It was awesome! Thank you soo soo much! I had rave reviews from my guests! -

We contracted The Celebration Place to put up string lights for the outside dance floor, gold chargers and industrial fans. Donna was very responsive, professional and accommodated my request at the last minute. We contacted her 10 days before the wedding with our needs because another vendor (Elegant Tents and Events) quoted us 200% more than The Celebration Place did and it was just unreasonable. They installed 400 ft string lights on a bamboo pole and they were one of the vendors that I did not have to worry a thing about. They provided value and got the job done. Giving us a discount on the industrial fans was a bonus.
The only reason why I gave them a 4.5 star for value is because they charged me to do a site visit and for late pick up which I think should not be passed on to the client. It is part of business cost to look at the place and see if you can accept the job or not and as far as late pick up, we all know that weddings end up late so it doesn't make sense to be charged for late pick up.
But with all that said, I recommend this vendor to all brides who are looking for value and quality of service! It is rare to have a business in the wedding industry who don't rip off brides. -

We used The Celebration Place for rentals for our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and breakfast the following day. Having a destination wedding, we needed to rent EVERYTHING, right down to the flatware and china. There was not a huge selection of china, glassware and flatware patterns, but everything they provided was very nice. They also provided lighting for us--several strings of cafe lights and a chandelier--which they installed inside of the large tent we rented. They also provided a decorator for a small additional fee, who helped our day-of coordinator set everything up for the reception. They arrived on time and provided exactly what we asked for. Their website, and the photographs of available items, is somewhat outdated. However, if you call they will provide better photographs of the items you are interested in, as well as discuss any available items that are not pictured on the website. -

They were very professional and on time. The only feeback was the tables and chairs that were delivered were dirty and wished they were inspected before sending them out again. Other than that, we were delighted to work with them and would use them again! -

Appreciated how flexible they were for allowing us to pick up and drop off the table and chairs. The table looked rough and the chairs could have used some white paint touch-ups, but the price was great and we used a table cloth anyway. -

We used the Celebration Place for all of our decorations. Lights, ceremony decoration, and reception tables, linens and chairs. Misty was very nice and willing to accomodate any request we had for decorations. We did have trouble getting in touch with her closer to the wedding date when we were needing to make changes. We knew she was busy, but this was a crucial time for us and wanted to finalize our contract and pay her. However, we did end up getting it finalized 2 days before the wedding. She came Saturday morning to do the decorations and she did a wonderful job! We were nervous due to the lack of communication but the decorations were exactly as I imagined. Beautiful! -

Overall, pretty pleased with our rentals from here. We did get most of the big things from a different company, just because we were concerned about what the quality of the chairs/tables/linens would be. However, really couldn't beat the prices so we rented our chafing dishes, water pitchers, lights, and candle votives, and a few other items from here. Their show room was pretty hectic, but Misty did say they were in the process of taking over another rental company and were still sorting through all of the items. -

They were very helpful as in getting what I needed when I called and made the reservations. However, the one thing that threw it off was when my father and groom went to get the table runner cloths, I had originally rented 8 of the green ones, and when they went to pick them up, they only had 7. Who makes reservations for 8 and only has 7 the day of? So, we had to use smaller ones to make up for it. It ended up working out, but that still wasn't what I wanted.
I will rave and say that when my groom went back to get more chairs and tables that we ended up needing and didn't know about, they helped us out and gave us what we needed. Definitely a plus there!
Overall, I would say to use them, but go by there and see the actual things if you can before booking them. I was from out of town so I didn't get that chance. -

We had a shrimp boil for my daughter's rehearsal dinner at our beach house for 40 guests. I ordered 6 six foot tables and 40 chairs. First I asked for the metal folding chairs for .75 cents each and they said those are for outside and not suitable for inside because of rust spots etc. So I opted for the brown resin plastic folding chairs for $1 each. When I got them unloaded they were stained and dirty looking and no better than the metal ones would have been. The tables were dirty too, but at least I had bought tablecloths to go over them so that didn't matter. They were polite during the pick up and drop off process, and all paperwork and payment process was easy. -

We had 100 chairs, an arch, and a table dropped off for our beach wedding. The arch was broken in transit and the driver had truck issues so we did not get the arch until late. But we got the rental equipment with enough time to set up and it was in the good enough condition for a beach wedding. The communication between the vendor and me was efficient and professional. The cost was very affordable. -

Misty was very nice and flexible to work with as I changed my reservations several times in the months leading up to our reception. The negative aspect to the experience was the quality of the chairs. They were definitely the most affordable chairs in the area but the paint was chipping on most of them and they were pretty wobbly - one actually broke while a guest was sitting on it during the reception. The customer service was very nice, but the quality of the rentals were not exceptional. -

Best price in town, but I'll be honest, you pay for what you get. The chairs were very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned or repainted in several events. The tables were also very dirty but that didn't matter so much because we used table clothes. But like I said....best price in town. Perhaps if you kindly mention that you want clean very white chairs they will be better for you! -

I feel they are over priced for the quality of their product. The arch and chairs had way more wear then I expected. The pictures they have online do not show what it really looks like. The arch was held together with zip ties. It would barely stand, missing paint in several spots. The tables were in bad shape. The white table cloths didn't help because you could see the stained up tables right through it. Not to mention the table clothes had stains as well. I paid extra to have them hang the lights I rented, and I was not happy with how they were hung. I think they could've done it way better. -

I don't live in the Panama City area so I had to do all my planning on recommendations of others. When I ordered, I was told the chairs were white resin with a little rust on them. After delivery, we started setting up the chairs to find not only were the chairs disgustingly dirty but as an addition to the rust, white paint was peeling off over 30 of the chair seats. Luckily I was able to call the delivery man, who brought me 30 different chairs. I can't think of a single event which this type of chair would be acceptable. I don't understand why the sales consultant would not recommend some sort of chair cover during my ordering process. I also ordered a white arbor for my ceremony. It was a rickety mess, missing several screws and in need of a new paint job. The piece of chiffon to drape it, was frayed with several holes. -

Stay away!!! I was so excited for the services offered by the celebration place until I saw what their products actually looked like. We ordered 100 outdoor chairs that says on the website that they "may have some rust", when they arrived, they were more than just "some rust", they were terrible and even had rust on the seat of the chairs. There is no way I could have my guests who dressed up for my wedding getting stains on their clothes. Also, we rented a speaker and sound system from them that did not even work. When we called they acted like it was our fault and said that everything is clearly stated on their website. We had no choice but to upgrade the chairs and ask them to send a new speaker system. They brought the chairs, charged us the difference, an extra delivery fee and never even brought the new sound system!! When we asked the delivery people about the sound system they had no idea what we were talking about. We called the 12 TIMES with absolutely no response and only heard from them days later after we sent them an email and repeatedly called after the wedding. Their service is horrible and even the lights that they strung across the dance floor were strung so low that people had to duck under them. Please beware!!! -

Feel sickened and cheated
My daughter was to have a wedding 16 days after a category 4/5 hurricane that left PCB feeling and looking like a war zone. My family lost both their homes where we were to stay, as everyone was coming from out of town. There were curfews, boil water, cable out, electricity out, traffic was backed up for hours, no restaurants open, no cell service and this woman would not give a DIME back for a service she didn’t perform and equipment we did not use. -

We hired The Celebration Place to provide chairs, tables, linens, an archway, & drink dispensers for our wedding. We paid in full in advance & the contract stated that we were to have all of these items delivered by 2:00pm on our wedding day. By the time 5:00 rolled around we were in a full blown panic bc the rentals were not delivered & we received no communication whatsoever. My wedding was supposed to begin at 6:15 & after multiple people making multiple calls we were never able to reach ANYONE. They did not even provide an emergency contact on their Facebook, website, or answering machine. Finally at 5:08 I received a call that someone was on their way. At this point I had already rented a few tables & drink dispensers from my caterer & had given up hope, but they arrived to set up at 5:30 & caused the entire set up to be a disaster. The linens were the wrong color. The chairs were incorrect and my guests were having to assist with set up. The set up looked horrible bc no one had time to get it done resulting in thousands of dollars wasted on decor & details for my ceremony & reception. We had paid them to move the chairs from the ceremony to the reception & an hour later than agreed, after my guests moved their own chairs, the idiots came back to move them. I can never get this day back & I certainly can't afford to do it over again. After over a week of back and forth and resistance we were offered an apology & a full refund. Initially they wanted to refund us a 4th of the total price paid for their services. I have been in event planning myself and regardless of whether or not it was my day off or whatever, no client ever had an issue reaching me immediately so that I could make their event perfect. They need to fire the person in charge & hire someone who is competent & dedicated to keeping the client happy. The full refund is simply not enough to make up for what they did and the upset that they caused me on one of the biggest days of my life. -
