The Carriage House - Galloway NJ

We recently celebrated our wedding and reception at The Carriage House, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience.
As you pull in, you’re greeted by a scenic pond with two grand fountains and a beautifully manicured, landscaped driveway that leads up to the valet station under the porte-cochère. Right from the start, the setting feels special and inviting, giving you a sense of elegance and anticipation.

Walking into the large foyer, you’re met with two grand curved staircases that make a bold and elegant statement. Guests were seamlessly directed to the coat check, where a 55” digital welcome sign pointed them to the Magnolia Room for our ceremony. This modern detail ensured that everyone felt comfortable navigating each stage of the celebration.

One of the standout features of The Carriage House is the availability of both a bridal and a groom’s suite. These spacious, private suites come complete with connecting outdoor balconies. This thoughtful design allowed us to remain separate before our first look, while still providing each of us with a comfortable and quiet space to prepare for the day.

Many venues overlook the importance of a groom’s suite, but The Carriage House excelled here. It gave our photographer, Myers Photo-Video Group, the opportunity to capture stunning moments as both wedding parties prepared. The balcony served as the perfect backdrop for our first look, which was captured beautifully.

Another major benefit is that everything—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—is housed indoors, under one roof. There was no need for our guests to venture outside for restrooms or other amenities, making the flow of the event seamless and weatherproof. Many venues don’t offer this level of convenience, but here, every detail was thoughtfully designed.

Our ceremony was elegant and simple, yet layered with meaning and detail. A 120’ curved white felt aisle runner added a polished and classic touch for our wedding party, including the flower girl and ring bearers.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when our tiniest ring bearer stole the show by driving down the aisle in a tiny white electric Audi convertible. It was a heartwarming moment that brought smiles and laughter to everyone in attendance.

We exchanged our vows beneath a modern yet traditional Chuppah, with the atmosphere elevated by the music of a classic trio—piano, acoustic guitar, and flute. Their performance brought a sense of serenity and joy, creating the perfect tone for the rest of the day.

Cocktail hour took place in the Azalea Room, located just to the right of the foyer and past our photo booth. The food selection was outstanding, with eight hot and cold hors d’oeuvres that delighted our guests. The tuna tartare and caprese skewers stood out, but the prime rib carving station and fresh pasta bar truly went above and beyond expectations.

The Mediterranean and fresh fruit boards were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding a decorative touch to the room. Meanwhile, our live music trio transitioned seamlessly to electric guitar, saxophone, and a freshly tuned Baby Grand Piano (provided by the venue), keeping the energy lively and engaging.

Sarah, our day-of coordinator, ensured a smooth transition into the transformed Grand Savannah Ballroom, which was ready to welcome us for our grand entrance.

With its 30’ high ceilings and spacious layout, the ballroom allowed us to fully customize our sound and lighting. We went all out with a suspended speaker system, an advanced lighting package, and dazzling 15’ cold sparklers to elevate the experience.

Dinner was exceptional. We both chose the Chicken Oscar with lump crabmeat, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the filet mignon. The late-night snack station, featuring egg and cheese sandwiches on soft rolls served with tater tots, was a huge hit. Each snack was sealed with our custom wedding branding sticker, adding a personal touch that our guests appreciated.

The bar staff, including three bartenders and the late-night station attendant, were quick, friendly, and accommodating. Every detail was handled flawlessly, ensuring our guests were well taken care of.

After dinner, the lights dimmed, and the party kicked into high gear.

Our reception was powered by The Renaissance Orchestra, Philadelphia’s premier wedding and event band. Their 11-member ensemble brought unmatched energy and professionalism to their performance.

From the rhythm section—keyboards, drums, bass, and guitar—to the big band sound of their horns, every element was on point. The four vocalists added incredible depth and variety, keeping the energy high throughout the night.

One of the most memorable moments was when the guitarist left the stage for a solo performance on the dance floor, surrounded by guests. This spontaneous energy kept the dance floor packed, and the enhanced lighting, multi-room uplighting, and cold sparklers made the experience visually stunning.

We also had a DJ stationed on the second-floor balcony overlooking the band. This elevated position, paired with uplighting, gave the space a nightclub-like vibe. The DJ kept the energy alive between sets, making sure the momentum never slowed.

The evening ended on a high note with a New Orleans-style send-off. The band led us out to our waiting limo with their mobile acoustic instruments, while our guests followed, creating a celebratory and unforgettable conclusion to the night. It was the perfect way to transition into the next chapter of our lives.

From a technical standpoint, The Carriage House is a dream venue for vendors. The loading dock is easy to access, the power supply is more than sufficient, and the 30’ ceilings provide endless opportunities for sound and special effects. We installed 102 lighting fixtures, a flown speaker array, and other elements with ease—all thanks to the venue’s thoughtful design.

The staff was equally impressive. Kristen, our main contact, was accommodating and patient, going above and beyond to meet every reasonable request. Sarah, our day-of coordinator, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the timeline organized. Heather was always available during planning to adjust or clarify details. Nichol, Chloe, and the rest of the staff ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly.

The collaboration between Atlantic Media Productions, The Renaissance Orchestra, and STVP was outstanding. Atlantic Media’s expertise with lighting and sound transformed the space, while The Renaissance Orchestra delivered an unforgettable performance. STVP captured every moment beautifully, giving us memories to cherish for a lifetime.

The Carriage House is a first-class venue in every sense of the word. From its elegant design and thoughtful amenities to the dedicated staff and top-tier vendors, it was the perfect place for our wedding.

We look forward to hosting future celebrations here, knowing that they will deliver the same exceptional experience every time.

The most perfect wedding day!

If you’re looking for a perfectly executed and stress-free wedding day, look no further than The Carriage House! We first booked with them in 2018 for our May 2020 wedding, but like most other weddings planned in 2020, we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. While this is a stressful concept, Kristin and Megan made changing our date (and then changing it again) a smooth and easy process. After 3 years of planning, we finally had our dream wedding on May 28, 2021 and it could not have been a more amazing experience! Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how attentive and wonderful that staff was. My husband and I agreed with all of these and more. Every detail that we planned was perfectly put in place when we arrived; all we had to do was enjoy ourselves (and we definitely did!). Maryetta, Sarah, and Yolo were so on top of things that we never had a worry all evening long, it was like they could read our minds and get us what we needed before we knew we needed it. Most brides talk about being stressed on their wedding day, but from the moment I woke up that day I was surprisingly calm because I knew the team had it covered. The whole night was seamless and perfect, and thanks to the CH team, we were able to enjoy every single moment of it! The Carriage House was absolutely the right choice!!

Words cannot even begin to describe how amazing the Carriage House was! We originally were getting married on 6/14/2020, postponed due to covid to September 2020 and finally got married on 5/16/21. The staff was easy to work with and always answered my emails. Our wedding day was just perfect! From the food to service to setting up the venue. Our guests are still ranting and raving over the food, how friendly the staff was and the overall atmosphere that the Carriage House displayed. My husband and I would very HIGHLY recommend The Carriage House to any couple looking to get married. Thank you again!

Everything was perfect!

This was the perfect place to have our reception! There aren’t words to express how thankful I am for the wonderful people at the Carriage House. They make planning and executing a wedding easy. We first met Halie for a tour in January 2020 and just KNEW this was the place we wanted to have our reception. We came for the venue itself…grand, absolutely stunning and gave the “Beauty and the Beast” vibe I was vying for, but we were most grateful for the amazing staff. (Yes, we booked prior to the pandemic, but did not have to postpone, just had to downsize a tiny bit). Megan, Maryetta, Halie and so many more were all vital to our reception being the most incredible night. Abby, my bridal attendant (an added bonus!), was fabulous and made sure I had everything I needed at all times. My guests keep telling me how amazing the food was; some of the best wedding dinners that they’ve had. Our band played from the second floor and sounded amazing throughout the large ballroom (not echo-ey or too loud). I could write pages on how wonderful everything was. From the first meeting, to menu picking, to selecting the tiny details…they did everything right and the night ran more smoothly than I could ever imagine. You will not regret having your reception here.

Awesome and stress free

They will work with you. So humble and nice people to work with. I would definitely book them again. And the most important part is that it a beautiful venue with multiple options. As anyone knows who is trying to put a wedding together that is key and a peace of mind.

Wedding Venue

Since the day we stepped foot into the Carriage house I knew we would be getting married there. We had a long planning time frame and the Carriage house's employees answered all my crazy questions two years out from our NYE wedding date. Leading up to the big day they did everything they could to make sure our big day was amazing and ran smoothly. The day of the wedding was anything short from amazing and could not have gone any better. Our guested loved everything about it and still talk about the food and the venue itself. 5 stars does not even begin to describe The Carriage House!!!

Best in the Biz - Trust them

I cannot write this review without happy tears. Warning, this review is a long one... Kristin, Megan and the staff went beyond my wildest dreams and delivered a dream wedding. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes. They are the best in the region for a reason! Their professionalism, ability to work with a budget (and respect it), being so pleasant with highly stressed brides and family - I cannot emphasize enough how easy and calm they made the whole process from start to finish. All of my guests are still raving about the quality, diversity, and amount of food served. The venue was meticulously clean and shining. The bridal captains and attendants were friendly, competent and wonderful. I would formulate a hint of a thought of needing something - and it was already in front of me. Kristin and Megan are true professionals and truly sincere human beings who listen to you. They have done it all and give great advice if you listen or ask. Kristin and Megan are super responsive via email - which always reassured me. They are adaptable and handle every hiccup or change in direction like champs. I cannot praise Kristin and Megan enough. You need to trust them with your wedding! The event ran on time thanks to their planning and advice. The Carriage House proved to me why it’s consistently the best through every interaction, with every person. Trust them with your wedding and you won’t be disappointed!

The Best Staff!!!

We could not have chosen a better venue with a more highly trained/competent/professional/and fun staff! All of my married friends told me they never got to eat at their wedding because they were so busy saying hi to people and taking pictures but I can honestly say I got to eat EVERYTHING I picked out because we had the most amazing bridal attendant team. Anytime I mentioned I wanted something out loud they got on their headset and someone was walking toward me with a drink/appetizer immediately. I’m not the only one who noticed, all of my friends jokes they were the CIA and they knew what I was thinking! The team packed up all of our food we were too stuffed to eat and gave it to us the next day along with all our other belongings they packed up and had waiting for us!
We seriously wish we could get married here again and hope to be guests at a wedding at the carriage house! The top things our friends complimented us on was the quality and amount of food/ they NEVER had to wait for a drink (some bartenders even memorized peoples drink orders and had them waiting when they walked up), and their professionalism. If you choose the carriage house, don’t waste your money on a wedding planner, they do EVERYTHING! We would recommend this venue to all couple looking to have the most flawless wedding day possible!

Incredible Experience!

My husband and I were blown away with The Carriage House from our first visit there, we knew after walking in and meeting the staff that this was the place we wanted to get married. The entire planning experience was made so easy and stress free for us, we felt taken care of the entire time especially the day of! The Perfect Day

om the moment my husband and I walked into The Carriage House, I knew it was our venue. Kristin and Megan are rockstars, answering all of my crazy emails and phone calls asking thousands of questions. Everyone is super nice and very professional. I love that they take care of everything, including setup and clean up. I truly felt like a pampered princess! The day of the wedding, halfway through my processional I realized the ring bearer didn't have the rings - they were still in the grooms suite. One of the staff members ran upstairs and grabbed it, and it was at the altar before I was. I never saw it go up there... one of my bridesmaids said it was handed off to Megan who ran through the bushes like a ninja and did a slick pass off at the front and nobody noticed it happen. If there were any problems at my wedding I didn't know about them! Our bartender was extremely friendly and the wait staff was amazing! We ended up inviting them to our after party :) Overall this venue and everyone we encountered was beyond amazing. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else!

Beyond our dreams!

From the moment we arrived at the open house to the moment we picked up our decorations the day after the wedding the entire experience was beyond perfect. A huge reason we decided to have our big day at The Carriage House was due to Kristen’s personality and how she treated us with excitement and patience with all our questions. Kristen made sure that our day was everything we wanted, from helping us stay in our price point, to making sure that for 2 and a half years she stayed in contact and helped us with every question, and crazy request with such professionalism, and care. Megan was fantastic when it came to finalizing all the details and helping us with the food tasting. It was wonderful to be able to bring our parents to join us, and Megan was so helpful when making the decisions. During the rehearsal Jenna was so incredibly helpful and patient with our group of friends. She was there the entire day of the wedding doing whatever we needed with a smile on her face. They not only tended to us but to our grandparents, parents and bridal party. Everyone was so professional and helpful. The bridal suites were huge and having the whole venue to yourself were must haves for us. The groom suite is amazing, and it was wonderful to have a place where the guys can hang and have food beforehand. Even the chicken fingers were incredible! We added an extra hour to our bridal suites and it was the BEST decision we made. We had time to enjoy the beautiful space with the brand new furniture!! That was such a nice surprise, it looks even more gorgeous than before. The way they used all of our décor around the venue was truly beautiful, they decorated the venue better than I could have ever imagined. The attention to detail was amazing, and truly appreciated. The entire staff was there for everything we needed whether it be answering emails to helping pack up or stuff. The property was immaculate and stunning wowing our guests at every turn. We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather for our wedding day and the outside ceremony was simply majestic. Our guests had nothing but incredible things to say about the entire event. The food exceeded our expectations and as cliché as it sounds, we are still getting compliments about it. The staff had all of our food on our table and waited until we were ready to sit down to eat before they brought the food out! That was amazing, since it would have been cold. They even packed up all of our food to enjoy the next day and boy was it incredible again! The staff on the day of was there for everything we needed and everything we didn’t know we needed. We always had a full drink waiting for us at our table and they always were checking in to see if we needed anything. Something that stood out to us was that the chef came out to check on us and make sure everything came out perfectly, which I had heard about by reading other reviews, however he took the time to check with both our parents as well which was truly awesome. We couldn’t be happier with every little detail of the day. It was truly the wedding I have always dreamed about. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting the perfect wedding experience.

You assume planning a wedding from out of state would be stressful but Megan and Kristin and the team at The Carriage House made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Being in the industry and working for a company that owns five venues, I had very high standards. The Carriage House exceeded all of them. Not only was I impressed by everything, our guests are still raving about the wedding. The food, the venue itself, the service, the drinks, all of it. Many of our friends and family have even said it was "the best wedding they've ever been to." We feel so lucky to have chosen The Carriage House.

Oh my gosh! What a gorgeous venue, and the staff is incredible, too. Thank you Kristin, Megan and everyone else who made our wedding day the best day of my life. From day 1, they were on top of every detail and crazy request I had. Everything from creating my signature cocktail, to perfecting every detail I had wanted, The Carriage House was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help manage my wedding. The ballroom was beautiful and the food was amazing. 2/24/18. The Carriage House was amazing! The team made my day so stress free. We had the best time during the planning process with Kristin and Megan. They kept up with my forever changing mind! First and foremost the Carrriage House was amazing. From start to finish. I was not from the area and lived two and a half hours away so planning was a bit of a challenge. Carriage House really accommodated us. They really use personable touch from start to finish. Jenna , Kathy ( rehearsal captain) , Megan and Jackie were amazing including the rest of the staff . My nerves were shot the day of the wedding and they really made sure to help me calm down before I walked down the aisle. Jenna literally would make sure my husband and my drinks were always filled I would be walking to the other side of the room to greet a guest and they would have another waiting for me without even asking . They always asked is there anything I can get you. Megan and Jackie really made sure every fine detail was there that I wanted from vendor to execution. Kathy was amazing and made sure my rehearsal was organized and my bridal party had 22 people ! The chef was so nice and even came to each guests table to make sure they enjoyed the food which might I add they was phenomenal people are still talking about the vegan option we had for them. The cake was everything I could have dreamed of and working with the pastry chef she really got every detail. Thank you so much carriage house I wish I could get married again just so I could work with each of you their service is top notch and you get what you pay for.

December 23, 2017 was truly the best day of our lives thanks to the Carriage House! Their professional and kindness made the day so perfect. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and made everything we wanted to happen come true. Our guests are still raving about the venue, food, and atmosphere. I do not even know where to begin -- there are not words to describe how incredible The Carriage House is! Megan, Kristin and the entire team made the planning journey fun, organized and easy. They were there with us every step of the way and made sure all of our questions were answered. They are pros! The Carriage House felt like home to us. We were truly able to customize it to reflect our personalities and style on our special day. The gorgeous outdoor ceremony space allowed us to have the wedding ceremony of our dreams. All of our 285 guests continue to tell us about how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved the delicious food. The bridal and groom suites allowed us to get ready in a very beautiful, comfortable and convenient space. The fact that Gourmet Italian and Luscious & Sweet Gourmet Bakery are affiliated with The Carriage House made the process of choosing our cake and rehearsal dinner venue that much easier. We knew that the high quality that The Carriage House delivers would proliferate in these associated vendors, and that was certainly the case. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding and want to thank the team from the bottom of our hearts for making it all so perfect. It truly felt like a fairytale!

My wedding reception was held at The Carriage House on July 29, 2017. Everything went perfect! Kristin and Meg are so organized and detailed. There was not one thing out of place or not done. Kristin worked with my family and I to create a menu that fit with our budget. Kristin and Meg were very easy to get a hold of throughout the whole process, and really took time to get to know my husband and I. We were not just another couple getting married. Prior to the wedding, we got to take a private tour of the kitchen, and meet with the head chef. The head chef even made an appearance on our actual wedding day, and came out to talk to my family and us to be sure everything tasted okay. The pastry chefs did a wonderful job at designing and bringing to life our wedding cake. The decor and set up of the room was top notch and breath taking. After the wedding, The Carriage House held all of our personal belongings for us for an entire week, until we got back from our honeymoon. We were even invited back to take pictures at The Carriage House on our 1st Wedding Anniversary, which we plan on doing. I highly recommend having your wedding at this venue. Where do I start? Everything as soon as you step foot on the grounds just screams: "BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT, CLASSY, DREAMY, and a FAIRYTALE." I HIGHLY recommend the Carriage House! During our search, we've seen a few places in North and Central Jersey and NO place compares to the Carriage House. Kristin, Megan, and the entire CH team, are simply amazing and completely hands on, to make sure you are at ease. We just had our wedding there, July 2017, and it was beautiful. Upon arrival, my wedding photographer and videographer was running late, and Megan had no issue of using my iphone to videotape us exiting the limo to head to the bridal suite to get ready. The little things go a long way and they did just that and beyond. They truly love what they do and it shows. Planning a wedding is stressful and costly, but the Carriage House team made it less stressful and on the big day it was beautiful. I can't stress enough of how they are sooooo accommodating and go along way to make sure you are happy. My family and friends keep telling me that my wedding is the BEST wedding they ever been to - not to brag lol, but seriously this place is gorgeous but the team makes it worthwhile. Priceless memories. Great wedding to embark on our journey of a lifetime.

Most amazing wedding venue. Everyone was extremely nice and easy to work with. They were very on point and detailed. The food and staff was amazing. This is the perfect place for a wedding if you want to feel special for a day and not have to worry about anything going wrong.

My entire experience at the carriage house- food, atmosphere, staff, and service was beyond exceptional. All of these combined created the wedding that dreams are made of. First of all, working with Megan, Kristin, Jamie, Carly, and Ellie made the process of wedding planning that much easier and less stressful. Talk about true professionals in their field. Megan and Kristin were so quick and efficient to respond to any emails and offered great suggestions to improve our experience. They also worked very well with our vendors. Carly worked with us to create the perfect package that included all our wants at a price within our budget. Jamie was very instrumental during our food and cake tasting and selection meetings. Ellie was amazing! She ran our entire rehearsal and coordinated the events the day of. Ellie checked in on me constantly and as soon as I needed something, it was there! Our guests even complemented the beauty of Carriage house, the taste of the food, and the great service they received during the event. Trust me brides, if you are looking for a stress-free day and elegant affair, be sure to look at Carriage House. You won't be disappointed!

How do I even begin? Our wedding was on February 18, 2017 and it was the wedding of our dreams thanks to The Carriage House! Like I said, where do I even begin? We searched for tons of venues, it seems like, during our venue search and this was by far our favorite. We fell in love with the Grand Savannah ball room! Then, we fell in love with the staff more so! Megan, the director of event operations, is phenomenal. She should win an award or something! She was so caring and accommodating! Abby and Jenna were amazing attendants the day of the wedding, every time we turned around they were there asking if we needed anything! I could not imagine a better day! It feels so good to say that we had the wedding of our dreams and I owe that to The Carriage House! I can go on and on about every detail that I appreciate but I don't think there are enough characters! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all worth more than 5 stars! Thank you everyone at The Carriage House!!!!

My husband (still getting used to that word!) and I got married November 26th, and had our reception at the Carriage House. Kristin, Megan, and everyone else we worked with at the venue was so warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They even snuck the piano into the grand ballroom while I was distracted during the father-daughter dance so my husband could serenade me! My husband contacted the venue with the idea, and they made it happen. Best surprise ever!! Not only is the venue is gorgeous, but the team set it up exactly as I imagined. The food was great and the cake was beautiful, and only $1 per person?? We loved our wedding, and we are so thankful to the Carriage House and all the employees for helping make our day beautiful and stress free! I can't praise Carriage House and the team enough!! Thank you for everything!

We had our wedding on October 7th, 2016 and we are sooo Happy we choose to have our wedding at the Carriage House!!! If you are in the process of looking for a venue look no further because you will not find a more beautiful place, with such an amazing and supportive staff, better then The Carriage House. We loved how helpful and accommodating everyone we worked with was. We also loved the fact that there were ways to adjust the day to how we envisioned it, all while working within our budget. We received many complements from our guests on how beautiful the venue is, as well as complements on how delicious the cocktail hour food and dinner was. We could not of asked for a better group of people to work with, on what is one of the biggest day of our life.

The Carriage House met and exceeded all my expectations of a wedding venue. If you want a Southern plantation-style wedding in New Jersey, then you will not be disappointed with The Carriage House. It has all the charm and elegance that it promises. The team truly serves you through the entire process from your first consultation all the way through your wedding night. We had the absolute best wedding day at The Carriage House. Kristen and Megan were there to help every step of the way. They helped to make planning easy and took away any overwhelming feelings. The day of our wedding was perfect! The staff took care of everything and we didn't run into any problems, or at least none that we noticed! The food was terrific and all of our guests were blown away by how gorgeous the venue was. Many of our vendors also complimented how nice the staff at The Carriage was was to work with that day. We cannot say enough good things about The Carriage House and highly recommend it to anyone looking to have an amazing and memorable wedding!

We fee truly honored and lucky that we were able to have our wedding at The Carriage House. Aside from being an absolutely gorgeous venue inside and out, the employees are honestly what blew us away. They are professional, attentive, courteous, knowledge, accommodating and warm. This team truly covers every detail and then some. I am an event planner myself, so to say I'm detail oriented is an understatement. However, they are SO organized that for the first time ever, I had nothing to worry about! It all started when Carly gave us our tour.. we had visited 13 other venues throughout north and south Jersey but when we walked into the Carriage House, it was on a whole other level. First class presentation to say the least. Carly answered every question and was never once pushy or intimidating. As we went through the planning process we met with Megan at our tasting and again we were so blown away by her knowledge, quick communication and organization. She was ten steps ahead of us and we knew our wedding would be amazing because of it. Both Carly and Megan made us feel as if our wedding was the only one they were focused on. At our rehearsal we met Kathy, and again knew we couldn't be in better hands. She even stopped by at our rehearsal dinner to make sure everything was okay. The fact that the Carriage House lets you drop items off at your rehearsal is a huge help. The day of the wedding, all I had to do was show up. We received so many compliments from our guests about our wedding. From the food, to the staff, to the ambiance, everything was beyond phenomenal. Most importantly, we were able to actually have fun and enjoy our day because they had everything taken care of it. This team of employees are excellent at their jobs and will go above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is perfect. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding the best day ever!

There are not enough words to express how happy we were with The Carriage House. It is a beautiful venue to have your ceremony and reception. The staff was very friendly and professional. They helped us every step of the way and answered any of the questions that we had. They definitely know what they are doing and go out of their way to make your wedding day special.

Only one word for the food, OUTSTANDING! There are so many options to choose from. The appetizers were incredible, my favorite was the stuffed mushrooms and mini crab cakes. For our dinner we had the flat iron steak and broiled flounder, which, in my opinion, was the BEST flounder I have ever had! We also had the Carriage House make our wedding cake. It was beautiful and so delicious!

We can't thank the Carriage House and all the girls enough for making our wedding a dream come true!

The Wedding of our dreams would not have been possible without the flawless staff, fine cuisine, and spectacular environment that The Carriage House provides! My husband and I discovered The Carriage House by accident as we were recommended to look at a venue with the same name in Delaware which we quickly eliminated after finding the website for the unrelated Galloway property instead and fell in love with the photos we saw as much as with each other. When we first visited in person, we were just as blown away by the grandeur of the architecture, but then we felt an immediate connection in wanting to work with Carly who welcomed us and took the time to chat with us at length. We were blessed that our hoped for Wedding date was available and so relieved that we were in great hands with Carly and Megan helping us make every detail perfect along the way of our planning. Marilyn worked with us to create an incredible cake and sweets while the head chef met with us during our private menu tasting day. Guests raved about the cocktail hour, service, table service, meals, and pretty much everything! My day-of-attendants might as well have been bridesmaids, too, as their warmth and kind assistance throughout the evening were much needed. I even got to perform with the band we hired on the stage for about 30 minutes which is a feature of the venue that makes The Carriage House especially unique. Everything about The Carriage House is absolute perfection. The only thing I wish is that we could go back annually for dinner to celebrate our gorgeous Wedding day memories every year! ELEGANT & AMAZING WEDDING!!!! The Best Day Of Our Life By Far! The Carriage House was definitely the best decision we made for our special Wedding Day! The Carriage House was our first and only wedding venue we looked at and it was just perfect! From the elegant ballroom with the grand entrance staircase to exceptional service from the staff there , especially Carly Wenz!!! They all made sure that every little detail was perfect and it was perfect by far! Our family had four weddings this year and everyone keeps telling me how ours was the best wedding ever! If you want elegance, beautiful photos, friendly staff, delicious food and happy wedding guests, The Carriage house is right for you! It's Amazing in every way possible! The chefs will accommodate you too! They made us feel spoiled throughout the entire planning process and on our Wedding Day , I wouldn't have changed a single thing! PERFECT!!! We took our wedding photos at Historic Smithville just a few miles away and those photos are perfect! The day after the wedding, when we picked up our decor, we did want to leave, we loved this venue that much! I can't wait to have another event here!

We loved our wedding at the Carriage House and would highly recommend it. We worked with Kristin throughout the process from start to finish and she was very responsive and understanding with issues that came about along the way. Additionally, Kathy was exceptional in terms of service the day of. She remembered every detail and always seemed to be right beside you when you needed something.

We have received numerous comments regarding how beautiful the venue itself was as well as guests saying it's the best wedding they've been to.

The exceptional service didn't stop at the end of the wedding, but continued through picking up our items the next day. Both myself and husband had unfortunately not eaten our entrees during the reception and the next day, Kathy as well as the chefs ensured we got our entrees to take home. Even though we had them a day later, we loved the food!

I wish I could give The Carriage House more than five stars! My husband and I met with Carly in May and were able to lock in a date for November (we were married on the 20th). The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff is amazing. Carly helped us along the way with any questions that came up. She was really accommodating (we added some craft beer to our reception) and helpful leading up to our wedding. As for the actual day? I didn't have to worry about a single thing! Everything was set up beautifully, the food was fantastic (our guests LOVED the raspberry filling cake) and the servers were on top of everything. (Special shout out to Kathy!) Couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Thank you everyone who helped make our wedding an amazing day!

From day one Carly was so accommodating and helped make the planning process smooth and stress free. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is fantastic. On the day of the wedding Courtney and Julie were absolute angels and were there for anything that we needed. They were always a step ahead bringing us food and drinks and constantly to make sure we were happy. The Carriage House was absolutely beautiful and breath taking. We had our outside ceremony there along with the reception. I cannot even express how helpful and friendly Carly and Megan were throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding included such an outstanding staff and I couldn't ask for better service. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. The staff at the Carriage house ensured that we had everything we needed to make our day perfect. Our event at The Carriage House was absolutely amazing! The staff was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure we were all taken care of. The carriage house was amazing, I worked with Carly and Megan who were wonderful and helped me every step of the way. My wedding day was exactly the way I pictured it and was truly the best day of my life. I don't think it would have been the success it was without the help of the wonderful staff at the carriage house. The food was amazing, the ballroom was beautiful and my guests raved about our venue.

Ever since I was a little girl I always dreamed of having that "fairytale" wedding, and The Carriage House made that dream come true. From day one I knew this place would be the perfect fit for my wedding! The staff was exceptional from start to finish. The place is absolutely amazing, it took my breath away when I walked in for the first time. I am so happy I chose The Carriage House for my wedding! I went to tour 13 different wedding venues, and nothing compared to what The Carriage House had to offer. Everyone in attendance thought it was the best wedding ever! The food was out of this world. Cocktail hour offered many different styles of food that was great for all guests. We decided to add the martini ice luge to our cocktail hour, and that was the BEST decision ever! The dinner courses were great! Everyone was so stuffed, they could barely eat dessert, but once they saw the amazing presentation of desserts in the foyer, they continued to eat. We had our ceremony on premises and unfortunately it rained, so we were unable to get married outside, however, the inside ceremony space was just as gorgeous as the outside space (which was another selling point for me). I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because The Carriage House deserves more!

The Carriage House staff went above an beyond to make our Wedding Day a truly magical experience. From the pre-wedding meetings to the day of the wedding their service was exceptional . They kept us organized every step of the way. They were also very helpful with ideas and tips to help make the wedding experience fantastic. Our guests still rave today, that our wedding was one of the best they attended! The Carriage House Staff had a lot to do with that!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because 5 hardly seems like enough. The Carriage House is AMAZING! We had our wedding there yesterday and I cannot stop talking about how amazing it was. Every single detail, from start to finish, was handled with the utmost professionalism, care, promptness, and importance. Aside from being an absolutely GORGEOUS venue, the staff there made this the least stressful part of my wedding planning. From the day we booked the venue in August to the day of our wedding in July, Kristin, Megan, and the entire team treated us like friends and helped make our dream a reality. They also took special care to assure that our guests with special dietary needs were catered to and enjoyed their meals as much as everyone else! Our "day of" attendants Courtney and Julie were there every step of the day with anything and everything we needed. The bakery (Luscious and Sweet) made a delectable cake, Our guests were absolutely blown away, the food was delicious, and the entire day was a dream come true. I cannot think of one single little thing that was not perfect. Thank you to all of you, you made my heart so happy :)

The Carriage House was most the most beautiful venue, exactly what I had always imagined! The venue itself is gorgeous, and the staff are all incredibly professional, helpful, and attentive. They went over every detail several times, and by the time the day of our wedding came, there was no question about whether or not everything was taken care of, and I was not disappointed! Truly a wonderful night for my husband and I, and our guests complimented us on having our wedding in such a nice, classy location. Thank you for everything!

The Carriage House was the first venue I toured after getting engaged. The elegance and grandeur of the foyer and ballrooms was absolutely beautiful. I fell in love. My then-fiancé, now-husband, wanted to tour other venues in north and south jersey just to see all of our options since our families live throughout the state, but nothing could even compare. Everything seemed crammed, small, old, or way too out of our price range.
The team at the Carriage House worked with me to get everything organized down to the minute. The response time was so fast with every question I emailed. They were extremely helpful in planning each step of the way from table set up, foyer decoration, to tasting all of the amazing food.
On the day of the wedding the team set up all of my hand made decorations and candles perfectly. The ambiance was picture perfect.
Our guests were so impressed with the overall atmosphere and they raved about the food.
Once we were in the Grand Savannah Ballroom and dinner was served, we had everyone dancing. My guests were then surprised with the amazing Viennese table and gourmet coffee in the foyer.
Everything turned out perfectly thanks to the amazing staff. It was so elegant and perfect to look at while having an awesome night.
The Carriage House was also super accommodating for me personally. The night before the wedding I had the 24 hour stomach bug. As per my request my personal waitress brought me ginger ale throughout the night, and I only could eat mashed potatoes for dinner. Thank goodness they boxed my meal, cocktail hour, and dessert so I was able to have it the next day when I was feeling better. I appreciated it so much.
We would recommend the Carriage House to anyone and everyone. They made every aspect of planning our wedding easy and enjoyable. Their overall look, seperate cocktail hour ballroom, and high-ceiling grand ballroom are all stunning. We are truly happy that the Carriage House made our dream wedding come true.

My husband and I found the Carriage House through a Google search. After checking out their website, we decided to schedule a visit. When scheduling the visit, the Carriage House was very polite,professional and flexible. My husband and I went on a tour and the place is absolutely stunning. We knew that we wanted to have our wedding there.

Throughout the entire planning process, the Carriage House was extremely helpful. They were quick to respond to our emails and phone calls, since we lived out of state. They thought of all the little details that we had looked over. They were extremely organized which helped us out tremendously.

The day of our wedding, the staff greeted us as we arrived at the front doors and let us look around at the setup of the ceremony and reception space. Throughout the day, I never had to look around to find a staff member. One was always a few steps away. If something had been out of place or wrong, my husband and I had no clue because the staff was on top of it before we even knew about it. Our team captain was outstanding, she had thought of different ways to incorporate our ceremony decorations into our reception decorations without the tables looking "crowded" with decorations.

Overall, our experience with the Carriage House was amazing and I would highly recommend them.

Having our wedding at the Carriage House was beyond the right choice. This venue is breath taking. We couldn't have been happier with how well kept and spotless the Carriage House was. Beyond the beautiful place and eye catching high ceilings were a wonderful group of people ready to work hard and make our dream day come true. I've never met more organized, kind people who truly enjoy their job. This was much appreciated because when your marrying for the first time, you're going in blind unsure of how much it will all cost and how everything will come together. These hard working women give you everything you need to know upfront. They reassure you along the way of things so you don't have to remember and give you ideas of ways to decorate because they know what works and looks great but also still listen to your visions. The day of the wedding everything was gorgeous! All of our guests were talking about how wonderful everything was and the girls who worked there were on top of everything. Having our wedding at the Carriage House made our special day a beautiful, elegant day we will remember for the rest of our lives!

The Carriage House was incredible. From the moment we toured the venue to the moment the wedding night ended, the quality customer service and the southern charm and beauty of the venue was top notch. We were treated like royalty by every person we came in contact with. They were so detail oriented, we didn't worry about a thing, and when we did have concerns, they were addressed immediately. Like any wedding, there were a few glitches that occurred the big day from vendors who were supposed to provide this or that, but the Carriage House staff didn't skip a beat in fixing any outside vendor mistakes and made everything perfect and exactly how we wanted it. I was so impressed by everything they provided from the cake to the valet services.
If you are considering Carriage House as your wedding venue, you don't need to hesitate because you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making our day the most special day of our lives and we will cherish every moment forever!

We recently had our wedding at the Carriage House and it was an absolute blast. Everything on their end was perfect, and we could not have been happier. The food was great the entire evening, from cocktail hour to desserts. The staff was helpful all throughout the planning process and always set realistic and appropriate deadlines for decisions. On the night of the event, they were as accommodating as they had been throughout the entire process and made sure that we were having fun and not worrying about anything that didn't require our attention, bringing us drinks and food constantly to make sure that we didn't miss anything. Not only that, but everyone else that attended the wedding said that they thoroughly enjoyed it and spoke very highly of the Carriage House as well, saying that everyone that they dealt with was friendly and helpful. The venue itself is in pristine condition and very extravagant both inside and out, and they are accommodated any alterations (including seating for unintended guests!) and decorative additions that you would like to make without hesitation or complaint. It is on the more expensive side as far as venues go in the area, but it is well worth the money, and as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for AND THEN SOME in the case of the Carriage House.

The Carriage House made my wedding day a dream come true. First, the wedding coordinators (Kristen Steelman and Lorena Somma) were professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and all-around-phenomenal event planners. Any bride is blessed to have Kristin and Lorena on their wedding team during the planning process!

The food is absolutely scrumptious. Fresh, hot, and delicious.
The wedding cake created by their pastry chef was exactly what we wanted and was so moist and tasty! We've been raving about the dessert table for days --- especially the chocolate mousse!

The venue is clean and new. It provides a great setting no matter what your colors, theme or style! We turned the place into a scene from a movie-premier -- red carpet, red draped fabric, red lighting and more! I made quite an entrance down the lobby staircase for my lobby ceremony (roomy for 115 people!)

My husband and I couldn't be more thrilled with The Carriage House, their staff and everything they provided us during the planning process and during the big day. Top notch! Five-star! Better than the best!

The Carriage House was everything my husband and I could have dreamed of and more! From our first meeting with Kristin until the big day we were beyond impressed with their professionalism. Kristin and Lorena were quick to respond to any questions that we had and were more than accomodating during the planning process. If you're looking for a "5 Star" all-inclusive venue for your wedding, you've come to the right place. Absolutely top tier service at every level of our event. We had so many guests who personally took us aside or sent us emails/texts about how it was either the best wedding they had ever been to, or how beautiful the location was, or how much they enjoyed the food. We had VERY high expectations, and Kristen and Lorena exceeded each and every one of them—something I didn’t think was possible.

My wife and I are still talking about of the level of oversight, care, and attention to detail we received—not only on Saturday—but in the weeks/months leading up to the event.

Unreal!!! Our wedding was so ridiculously fabulous! I am looking for an excuse to have another event there at some point. The place is immaculate, gorgeous and so well-maintained. The food was phenomenal!!!! The staff is seriously unreal! Carly and Lorena were nothing short of fantastic. True professionals, always very responsive and such a pleasure to work with. The staff the night of was really excellent. I am very particular and detail-oriented. They listened to my concerns and the details of they way I wanted things and truly nailed it. I was VERY impressed with the service of The Carriage House. Carly and Lorena made the whole process so easy! They were also very accommodating and worked with us to make sure that our guests with special allergy needs were able to get a substantial meal. They were on top of every detail and made sure our wedding and reception would go the way we wanted. As for the day of, all our guests were so impressed by the venue, the service, and the food. When we were first engaged we were set on getting married at the beach. We did some research and headed to Cape May, NJ to try to find our "perfect" venue. We booked with a venue, had everything ready to go BUT at the last minute decided it just was not for us. They were not very accommodating and really did not show much interest in having us stay. Considering we thought this was our venue we had already booked our photographer and DJ for that date. That week we booked 5 different places to check out knowing we were short on time because we needed to let our other vendors know so they could change the date (hopefully). We looked at 3 places an that Thursday we went with Kristin Steelman. First, we were blown away by the venue. Its STUNNING. It looks like an a Southern Mansion or the White House! When you first walk and see the opening the the stairs it just takes your breath away. So, we sat down and met with Kristin. Kristin is EXTREMELY professional from the way she talks to you to her overall appearance. Just what you want to see when you are putting this important day in someone else's hands. One factor that helped with our decision is that they have a separate room for inside weddings I did not want to have the reception area flipped from ceremony to reception. So, wouldn't you know it on our wedding day it rained! After our meeting with Kristin we just knew in our heart The Carriage House was the place we wanted to share this special moment. Fast forward to our wedding...lets just say it was flawless, magical, amazing, perfect, I could go on. The staff made every part of me feel like a princess. We had a buffet so everyone could try what they liked. They LOVED the food for dinner and especially cocktail hours as well as the INCREDIBLE MASSIVE amount of deserts that came with our package! I honestly can not thank them enough for making our special day a day I wish I could relive over and over again. You will not be disappointed!!!

The Carriage house made the greatest day of my life even better!!

My wife and I got married in June and if there is any couple reading this that is considering having their wedding at the carriage house I'm glad to tell you that your search is over.

Everything was perfect that day. But before that day throughout the planning process, the staff gave 5 star attentive customer service and they show that they care about what your needs are and will do their best to accommodate it.

I sent alot of emails during the planning process to our coordinator (Hi Carly!!) and if the email wasn't answered that day an email was waiting for me the next day.

The day of the wedding was perfect!! We, as the bride and groom, did not have to worry about anything because we gave the contact info of all of our vendors to the carriage house and a point person was assigned to deal with them. And we had multiple vendors!! It was a good feeling that we didn't have to micromanage.

The Bride and Groom suites were welcoming and very comfortable. My guys and her girls were very impressed with the space. And we had ample space to move around and relax.

The staff were kept lines of communication open with each other. I was impressed by the walkie talkie secret service ear pieces they all had on.

There was a point in time were the pictures we took after the ceremony went too long and was cutting into our reception time. One of the staff members had the idea to begin to serve the salads as soon as the guests came into the reception hall and we were back on track in no time. They also communicated with the DJ to let him know what was coming up and what to expect.

My wife asked the The Carriage House Staff that she did not want anyone peeking inside the reception hall until it was time to go in. So they had 2 workers stationed at the doors at all times so no one would take any sneak peeks.

This is an amazing venue. The Cake and Food was delicious too!!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at the Carriage House this past August, and we planned it in less than 3 months! I confess, we absolutely could NOT have done it without Carly, Lorena, and the rest of the Carriage House team helping us along through every step of the way. I know it sounds almost unbelievable coming from the former bride, but they actually managed to make ours a stress-free and incredibly enjoyable wedding planning experience.

I'd also like to mention that my wedding was not at all conventional, and the Carriage House went all out to provide my husband and me everything we needed to turn our wedding vision into a reality. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and accommodating, and the food was so amazing! I can't even begin to count the number of guests who called us afterwards to compliment our choice of wedding venue. I don't have a single complaint...seriously, I could not have asked for anything better! Thank you to everyone over at the Carriage House for making our wedding an absolute dream!

The Carriage House in Galloway, NJ does not only take your breath away by it's beauty and sophisticated charm...it also provides a most professional, friendly staff with an "over-the-top" attention to detail system that immediately puts you at ease with a feeling that you are in good hands. And you ARE! From the very first meeting all the way until the day after the wedding, we felt as though we were family. We had our wedding reception at The Carriage House in Galloway, NJ this past June. Our experience with The Carriage house was perfect from beginning to end. Our ceremony was held on a beach on Long Beach Island, however The Carriage House provided us with a contingency plan for it to be held there in the event of inclement weather (though thankfully the weather was gorgeous). We dealt primarily with Carly and Lauren in our details meetings leading up to the wedding day and they were amazing in their ability to address every detail no matter how small and to anticipate any and all possible problems that could arise throughout the course of the evening. This led to the entire event going off without a hitch. [STATEMENT OF APPEARANCE?]. The staff was wonderful to our guests from the valets to the bartenders to the servers. We made some very difficult decisions at our food tasting before the event, as all of the options were equally delicious, and our guests received the same high quality of hors d'oeuvres and meals that evening.
A small story of how dedicated the staff was. As the evening progressed we had a guest whose 2 year old son was getting sleepy, but wouldn’t be cooperative until cake arrived. I (the groom) asked one of the staff when the cake might be coming out, but told them it wasn’t a big deal and that there was no need to rush anything. No less than 3 minutes later a server was coming at me with one of each cake choice asking where they should direct it. It was a simple matter, but it showed just how the dedicated staff delivers an outstanding experience to its customers.
We couldn’t imagine having had our wedding reception at any venue but The Carriage House and we highly recommend it to anyone considering locations for events in the Jersey Shore area.

Our guests are still telling us about how impressed they were with The Carriage House. We had such a wonderful experience with them. Lauren was fantastic on the wedding day. She coordinated everything and addressed any problem immediately (and there weren't many problems). I am a control freak and always have every detail planned out for events. The Carriage House exceeded even my standards for planning. It was obvious that they know what they are doing and they do it well. Our wedding was everything we wanted in part because of The Carriage House and their staff.

This venue is unbelievable. My wife and I were just married on July 11th and I cannot say enough great things about this place and its staff. They are with you every step of the way from day one and make you feel so welcome and special. Kristin Steelman is AWESOME. She knows her job very well and can help you with any problem you may have and offer suggestions throughout the entire process to help you! If I remembered the entire staff's names I would individually name them all, but unfortunately I don't. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, the food is amazing and the staff is just great. If you are looking to have a wedding anywhere in the state of NJ or nearby, please take a visit to The Carriage House and you will NOT be disappointed!!

The Carriage House was the perfect venue for our Wedding! My husband and I were both previously married and felt a simple ceremony with a dessert reception would be perfect. I reached out to a number of caterers in the area and The Carriage House was the only one who was able to meet our requests, and at a reasonable price point. The staff at the Carriage House was willing to think outside the box of cookie cutter weddings and put together an extraordinary event that our friends and family are still talking about. Kristen and the rest of the staff presented numerous ideas for our menu as well as the ambiance for our reception. I am so touched by the attention to detail and the "can-do" attitude. There was no request I made that they could not accommodate.

We also used the pianist the Carriage House recommended. He was very easy to work with and did a fantastic job.

The Carriage House is very detail oriented and will do whatever your heart desires for a fee. My wedding day was amazing and I wouldn't change a thing!

As the Father of the Bride, I was most impressed from beginning to end by not only the professional manner of the entire Carriage House staff, especially Kristin and Lorena, but was overwhelmed by the appearance of the venue as the Bride and Groom entered their reception. We were promised that this would be a memorable and beautiful day for my daughter and my new son-in-law and they kept their promise. Everything exceeded what we imnagined it could be from decor to the meals the the support from the staff during the day. Our guests were also impressed and have complimented us several times on our choice of reception locations. We will be talking about this event and this location for a long time. Thank you to all involved for making this such a special day. Anyone ever asks me where to go for their reception without hesitation I will tell them The Carriage House.

The Carriage House was absolutely amazing through the whole planning process and wedding weekend. They helped organize everything along the way making the wedding planning process a piece of cake for my mom and I. The day of the wedding they were extremely organized and met all our needs. If anyone asked me where they should get married, I would no doubt recommend this venue. They were perfect in every way.

This wedding venue has been the talk of our wedding since our guests have visited!!!!! Many of our guests have commented that they wish they had their wedding here or that they would love to have their wedding here in the future! This place runs like a well oiled machine! My husband and I were treated like the most important people during the whole weekend, every decision was left up to us, and they offered their advice whenever we needed it. Carly and Jess worked with our vendors and handled every big and small detail of the big day. Kathy was our point person during our event and WOW is she amazing!!!!! So easy to talk to and so knowledgeable we actually felt a little sad leaving her that night because she was more like a friend to us. Jillian was our personal attendant for the night and this girl is awesome! So quiet but always there with a drink and food ready for you! She handled everything for us! We couldn't be more please with this venue and would recommend The Carriage House to anyone looking for an amazing wedding venire in the South Jersey area!

The Carriage House staff were professional and organized throughout the wedding process. Everyone was so plead at and easy to work with. They made my wedding perfect! Kristin Steelman was amazing from the first tour until the end of the wedding night. Kathy as well did a wonderful job as well.
