Just wow! The Brothers Ranch is the most unique wedding venues we have been to as a guest and are lucky to have celebrated our wedding there. Jonathan and Jess are two of the most kind hearted warm people. They fully give you the experience every bride and groom deserve. They give you full access to their property and allowing you to make it your own. They provide the most amazing vendors list and are accepting of new vendors. Do not by pass this tropical oasis when you are venue touring. Even just a visit will warm your heart!The Brothers Ranch's reply:

Our wedding at this venue was absolutely perfect! The outdoor setting was stunning — surrounded by beautiful landscapes that made every photo look magical. The property owners were both professional and incredibly personable, going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their communication and organization were top-notch, which made the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day! -

The Brothers Ranch was such a magical venue for our wedding! We toured it the year before, looking for a venue for our destination wedding and taking in the space, (it's stunning!) and meeting the owners, made the decision so clear and easy for us. Jessie and Jonathan are the sweetest most helpful people and such professionals. They have put so much love and care into their property, it is a place of wonder to take in. We were so honored to be able to share the space with all of our loved ones. Our wedding was everything we could have imagined and more. Planning a wedding is a huge undertaking and Jessie and Jonathan were very attentive and supportive to any questions we had. Our day was perfect. Thank you both! -

The Brothers Ranch is the best venue ever! The tropical grounds paired with amazing, genuine and kind venue owners made for the venue of my dreams.
The Brothers Ranch is the best venue ever! When my fiancé and I did our venue walk-through, I knew this was where I was going to get married. The bamboo grove, tropical lush gardens, gorgeous reception area, perfect bridal suite....everything was beyond wonderful. Jessie and Jonathan Brothers are exceptional humans with great communication, professionalism, and willingness to help. Our wedding day will forever feel like a perfect dream thanks to Brothers Ranch. I cannot recommend this venue enough!!!!!

My husband and I decided to get married At Brothers Ranch this last June for multiple reasons :
Venue: the venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. The ranch is surrounded by tall bamboo and tropical florals/plants, making you feel like you’re somewhere in the tropics. We held our ceremony in the garden and had our reception in a modernized indoor/outdoor area that was alongside the garden area. There’s a beautiful encircled area in the bamboo garden where couples do first looks. Very intimate. The venue was spacious enough to occupy all of our guests and had room to spread out all events between ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself so ideally you don’t need much decoration.
Flexibility: We booked the venue for the entire weekend Friday- Sunday, which was very helpful as we didn’t feel rushed getting items to and from venue before and even after the wedding. We were able to set up and drop off most items on Friday and had time for rehearsal & had the luxury of picking everything up on Sunday so we weren’t rushed the night of our wedding. Most venues have required vendors however here at brothers ranch we were provided a list of preferred vendors however had the option of selecting our own vendors, with owners review.
Owners: being able to work with the owners directly really sold us. Both Jonathan and Jessie are so kind, humble, and truly great individuals. From the very beginning, they both were very attentive to all questions, tours, and assistance as much as possible. I really respected how they wanted to ideally assist and make things as smooth as possible so truly all you have to do is enjoy your wedding day (allowing Friday and Sunday to prep and clean up).
All in all we highly recommend both The Brothers Ranch as a venue for any event (especially weddings) and working with Jonathan and Jessie. You will not be disappointed as both the venue and couple truly made our wedding dreams come to life ✨ -

Dream come true
I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else! This venue has everything in ONE! The beauty of this place leaves no reason to add any decor, but of course always welcome. The owners, Jessie and Jonathan, have put so much work and dedication into The Ranch in order to create a beautiful space for any type of event. You can tell they care and take pride in their venue. In addition, they are an absolute pleasure to work with and made our day so special! We cannot wait to visit again and reminisce! -

Can't believe how LUCKY we got to find such a beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding! Jessie and Jonathan went above and beyond in helping us make sure our daughter's day was PERFECT! We recently celebrated our wedding on October 26th at The Brothers Ranch. The venue is SO lush and beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for our big day. The ceremony space is so peaceful, romantic, and well-maintained, and the reception space provides a wonderful indoor-outdoor vibe with plenty of space to accommodate large events. The owners, Jon and Jess, were quick to communicate and happy to help in any way they could. -

Beautiful Venue and Amazing Hosts
Seriously the hottest up-and-coming venue in the entire Monterey Bay area - where the beautiful and unique grounds are only the surface! Every aspect of the venue has been carefully thought out to accommodate the wedding party, guests, and vendors perfectly. The tropical foliage of the ceremony lawn offered a stunning backdrop for our vows (plus the sweet scent that wafts from nearby strawberry fields). The reception area was the perfect size and layout for our guests to eat, drink, play games, and dance throughout the night - cozy but spacious at the same time. Brothers Ranch was so beautiful and so well designed that we really didn’t need many of our own decorations. Also a huge plus for us was having access to the space for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) so we had plenty of time for setup and we didn’t have to worry about cleanup at the end of our wedding night!
But the true heart of this venue is Jessie and Jonathan Brothers. More gracious hosts than venue owners, they helped us every step of the way to have an amazing and stress-free wedding. They both went above and beyond running around the whole weekend handling all of the little details to provide a seamless experience for us and our guests, from giving golf cart rides between the reception and ceremony spaces to rolling out heaters after sundown.
So a big thank you to Jessie and Jonathan and definitely book Brother Ranch - the best venue in all of Monterey Bay for an amazing, beautiful, stress-free, and super fun wedding! -

We could not have asked for a better venue. Jonathan and Jessie were both extremely helpful and worked with us 100% of the way. The venue was beautiful and it shows that they put a lot of work into it. We heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests who couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the site was. The goats were an absolute hit with both kids and adults, the bar was gorgeous and well decorated, and the getting ready room was perfect for both parties and taking pictures. We would highly recommend Brothers Ranch for any event! -

We love the brothers ranch
Words cannot properly do justice just how amazing Jonathan and Jessie are, and the beauty that is their venue. From start to finish we had the most lovely time working with them. They have so much pride of ownership, they love what they do and it shines through them and into the property and therefore, your wedding. They were a pleasure to work with, sincerely. Not only that, but they are both so kind and just genuinely good people.
The plants on the property are stunning, and we had both butterflies and dragonflies flying around us during the ceremony (seriously to the point where our guests thought we had hired a vendor to release them. "Like something out of a fairytale" )
We will always love The Brothers Ranch and have so much gratitude for the memories it holds. Look no further, this is by far the very best choice you could make for your wedding day!

When we toured Brothers Ranch, we knew this place was special! It's a wonderful mix of modern/rustic with so much natural beauty from Jessie and Jonathan's thoughtful tropical landscaping. From the modern barn with HUGE marble countertop bar, in-house ice machine (this really makes a difference!), beautiful chandelier lighting, to lush hilltop ceremony site where you can catch the views (and scents) of the neighboring strawberry fields, we knew we made the right decision to go with Brothers Ranch. Jessie and Jonathan were extremely helpful and flexible with our many venue visits and questions throughout the process. The bonus was also getting access to the space Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so we never felt a time crunch amongst the endless list of things that come up wedding weekend. Nothing but high remarks for this gem of a venue. -

I have so many great things to say about The Brothers Ranch. Not only are the grounds absolutely beautiful, spacious and well-maintained -- it gives the absolute perfect balance of "down-to-earth" and modern all wrapped into one. The uploaded photos do not give it the justice it needs until you actually see them in person.
The gardens are immaculate. I can't think of a place any more serene than the garden in the ceremony area. Thinking of all the colors of the plants there combined with the bamboo and the butterflies and birds still leaves me at a loss for words. I honestly could not grasp exactly how the ceremony area looked more and more beautiful at each visit preceding our wedding this past Saturday.
The barn is absolutely amazing! It's separated into three sections (bar, dance floor and lounge) giving guests the room to bounce around depending how they feel throughout the evening. High ceilings, amazing light fixtures, the disco ball, the glass doors reminiscent of a greenhouse gives it the perfect contemporary touch!
Here's the most important part, Jonathan & Jessie Brothers. They were so accommodating, helpful, patient and overall a total joy to work with during the wedding planning process. You cannot get service any better than a couple who genuinely loves putting these kinds of events together.
I could talk for hours but do yourself the favor and check it out yourselves. I had the wedding of my dreams here and I wouldn't change any bit or piece of it. The walls, the flora, the aura of this place truly come alive when it's all said and done. Take the advice of an extremely happy bride, don't miss out on the opportunity to call this place the start of your happily ever after. -

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was!
Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own!
10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime! -

My wife and I just celebrated our special day, and we couldn't be happier with The Brothers Ranch. What started as a hidden gem has quickly become our field of dreams! Jonathan and Jess are absolutely amazing. The venue is a must-see!
With around 250 guests at our wedding, everyone described it as "Paradise." Jonathan and Jess supported us every step of the way—offering planning advice, recommendations, and crucial support. Despite not having a wedding coordinator, The Brothers Ranch made us feel like family on our big day.

We had two different locations in mind for our ceremony & reception. The Brothers Ranch Venue absolutely killed it! Between the bamboo groves and amazing colors of the flowers, we both knew that this was the place. Having the reception site just down the hill was great for those that don't want to travel after the ceremony. Jessie and Jonathan both keep the place in tip top shape. It even rained heavy right up to the ceremony and there was not any wet spots in the ceremony space. Both of them were super helpful leading up and on the day of with information, and answering any questions we had. We ended up with the reception being inside, but it fit our party of 90 with room to spare. They are an absolutely amazing host with a beautiful venue to boot! Thank you so much for being a part of our very special day! -

The Brothers Ranch is the best wedding venue in the Santa Cruz county area. My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married here in April 2024 and I wish we could do it all over again with this venue and team! From the first convo, Jessie and Jonathan Brothers made it clear they were there to support us in anyway they could. They were flexible, polite and really went above and beyond thru the entire process. The venue is gorgeous and speaks for itself. The vendor list was extremely helpful. And it is such a nice feeling to tell other vendors that you’re getting married here and their first response is “oh I love them!” that was the response we had every single time. I am so happy we were able to start our marriage here and we have new friends from it all! -

Super flexible about set up and take down, genuine people who made the process so much lower stress and easier than other venues considered. The brothers ranch is located in the beautiful community of Royal oaks. Jonathan and Jessie were amazing through the entire process of booking, visits, doing our invitation pictures. They went above and beyond for my wedding of 300+ from the ceremony space, to the parking and guidance from the staff and the reception space was amazing. Everything a woman (& couple I guess, Lol) is looking for. Romantic, open, but private, it set the mood for our event and I can’t wait to host other events there!

Brothers Ranch was EVERYTHING we were looking for in a venue, and then some. We booked with Brothers Ranch for a lot of reasons, but the main ones were:
1. The property is freaking beautiful. Speaks for itself.
2. The owners are friendly. No dealing with a corporate organization who sees you as a wedding on a conveyer belt. The Brothers' felt like friends by the end. They are so sweet!
3. The perks. Being able to have access to the venue for the entire weekend made a HUGE difference because we did so many DIYs. Also, the chairs they provided were beautiful, the ice-maker worked great, and the other things they provided made our rental list a little shorter.
Booking a venue is a huge and daunting task. I am SO grateful that we found Brothers Ranch because they really were the best. We are thankful and honored to have this venue as a piece of our love story. -

Natural Beauty
My wife and I feel so incredibly blessed to have had our wedding at the Brothers Ranch. We truly could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding with this venue’s natural and serene beauty. After touring 5 venues, Brothers Ranch was the only venue that met all of our needs. We were very hands-on with our wedding planning and intentional with all of our details, which made Brothers Ranch an easy choice as our venue.
The venue has a wonderful modern barn, complete with a bar that has a commercial ice machine, a relaxing lounge area, and a dance floor big enough for an indoor reception (if weather doesn’t cooperate). The big open reception lawn feels like a paradise with all the bamboo, flowers, and overall greenery. Though they provide a vendor list, we practically had free range in choosing all the vendors we wanted to work with, which not all venues allow. This was important to us because our wedding was too special to have a venue dictate which vendors we should work with. In addition, this allowed us to choose vendors within our budget. We were able to decorate the venue the day before, have the venue practically the whole day on our wedding day, and picked up our belongings and decor the day after (which was so nice because we were very tired by the end of our wedding that we couldn’t pack everything). Our guests also had nothing but praises for the venue.
Saving the best for last, this glowing review would not be complete without our words of appreciation for Jessie and Jonathan. What a team! They were so responsive and very accommodating right from the start when we did our first venue tour. They were a big reason for why we chose the venue and it makes us happy to support a business owned by such kind and warm people. Our guests appreciated and had fun getting driven around on the Mule cart - SO CLUTCH! Thank you Jonathan! One more thing, if Jessie or Jonathan offer you to have their cute goats crash your wedding, just do it! It was not something we thought about doing, but we’re so happy that we did, our guests certainly had a blast with them! -

5 stars is not enough to express how incredible The Brothers Ranch was for a wedding venue on our big day. We fell in love with every aspect of the venue the first time we laid eyes on it. The bridal suite, grooms’ hangout space, the bamboo grove, and barn all add to the ambience that makes this place so special. The crown gem is the ceremony space decorated with a variety of beautiful tropical plants and other greenery. Jonathan and Jessie Brothers have truly poured their hearts into this venue and it is apparent the second you set foot on the property. More than that, they were extremely easy to work with; fast and clear communication, no hidden fees, flexible with individual design preferences, and on-site the day of the wedding to ensure everything moved along smoothly. If you’re having any doubts, go see it for yourself - you certainly will not regret it. Jonathan and Jessie, we can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so special. The best wedding venue!
We were lucky to stumble upon this wedding venue on instagram and it was the perfect venue for us! It felt like a little oasis right in the middle of Watsonville. We loved that we got to use the spaces for the entire weekend, early Friday morning to Sunday. We were able to set everything up early and even have our rehearsal dinner at the venue. Jonathan and Jessie are such kind people and you can feel their genuine excitement for you throughout the entire experience. One of my favorite things about this venue is how flexible the owners are. It really allowed for you and your partner to be so creative with the space and make it unique to you. The other great parts about this venue include: the amazing bridal suite, private bamboo area (where we did our first look and vows), large dance floor, great lounge area adjacent to dance floor, great bar set up, ample space and parking throughout the venue. They are always looking to continue improving so I can't wait to see what else they add to the venue as they continue to grow! I can't recommend this venue enough! -

As a wedding planner, you can trust me when I say that not all venues are created equal and not all of them have a wonderful husband and wife team to run them. The Brothers Ranch always goes above and beyond to ensure that my clients are happy with their experience and have everything they need on the day of. They are so organized and really make the planning process fun. They are always available to answer questions and really care about all of the details that make the wedding day seamless and special. As a planner, I can say that The Brothers Ranch is really on top of the timeline, movement of specific items such as heaters (without me following up), available for anything I need and really makes my job so so easy. I cannot recommend them enough to other planners searching on behalf of their clients or to people looking to get married at a lovely outdoor/indoor venue. RUN don't walk! They are one of the best! -

Where to begin with this place? If you prioritize beautiful, lush greenery, a relaxed vibe and easy to work with people, The Brothers Ranch is a perfect wedding location for you. When I was looking for a venue for my wedding, this was the first that caught my eye. I made myself look at other places, but in the end, there was no comparison. I went with my gut, and first choice, and could not have been more pleased with my decision. As someone who worked for many years in the Redwoods and went to many Redwood weddings, I wanted something different while still being close to Santa Cruz. Jon and Jessie Brothers have cultivated a gorgeous location. It was really important to me to have a ceremony space and reception/bar area that were close to each other. The reception/ bar area has beautiful, indoor plants and is also nestled in unique bamboo gardens. It is SO beautiful you truly do not need to worry about adding extra decorative items. I had a florist add flowers to our tables and that was pretty much it. The Brothers have made this place for events, so everything is placed in a way that makes sense. The bridal suite is gorgeous, there’s a kitchen that my caterers were super jazzed about and a bar area that any bartender would feel super comfortable working in. There’s an area above the dance floor that was recently added that has couches and cool lighting, so at your event there are always different spaces for people to hang out. The ceremony space is up above and surrounded by an array of tropical plants, there are so many different pockets to get amazing pictures. The Brothers are the perfect mix of kind, flexible and professional. The last few years they have been building up the site to make it even better, so throughout this year of planning they kept me up to date on what was changing and how the gardens were doing. They were open to all my random questions and truly made the day go so smoothly. All of my vendors were extremely happy with each area they had to work in, like I mentioned, it makes a big difference having a place that was specifically created for events. I am not a country club type person but I am also very particular about aesthetics. The Brothers Ranch is gorgeous without being stuffy and the perfect mixture of chill and chic. I cannot recommend this place enough, and it’s only going to get more and more popular so if you can book it for your wedding or other event JUMP ON IT! -

The most special day ever
Our day wouldn't have been as special without The Brothers Ranch. Everything about the venue checked off everything we were looking for in a venue.
We had the venue for the entire weekend - Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. This allowed us to hold rehearsal and set up for our wedding a day prior to the day, and clean any remaining items the next day. We loved this.
When you walk around the ranch you are surrounded by bamboo groves and tropical plants/flowers. They have two ceremony sites that have no problem in accommodating guest counts of over 100+. If you are using the lower site, you can get a nice overlook view from the top ceremony site which offered another nice camera angle.
The reception site is located in a separate area within steps away from the ceremony site. We loved the intimacy of both the ceremony and reception site as we were able to always be surrounded by our loved ones. The reception site was amazing as it had indoor and outdoor options. We used the outdoor space for dinner [13 guest tables, one sweetheart table, buffet line, and our caterer's bbq grill] and the indoor space for the photobooth, dancing, and bar. It was incredibly spacious which allowed our guests to freely move around. The Brothers Ranch also set up propane heaters around the dinner area to help keep our guests warm at night. As mentioned, the bar area was inside as the ranch venue has their own bar counter and commercial ice maker! This helped our bartenders so much!
The owners are incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and always made sure our day would be as special as we hoped. We couldn't have wished for better people to work with.
If you're looking for an intimate, modern, and laid back venue surrounded by beautiful plants, we cannot recommend The Brothers Ranch enough! Also, they're pet friendly :) We were so happy we were able to include our sweet boy for our ceremony. -

My husband and I knew right away this was the venue for us! Gorgeous spot tucked away in Watsonville. The couple that own it were so great to work with! They were very responsive anytime we needed information and were so flexible with our wedding day vision. They made everything look amazing for us and we couldn't have been happier with the space. Just some of the things we really loved were: the large amount of parking, great bar set up, big dance floor, tables and chairs to use, and a beautiful bridal suite! Can't recommend it enough. -

We just had our wedding here You absolutely can not ask for a better experience for your event. The perfect landscaping, picturesque hillsides, plus recent upgrades are only the beginning. They give you one day for set-up, one day for your event, and a third day for clean-up. (What a peace of mind) To top everything off Jonathan and Jessie Brothers, worked with us every step of the way up to and including the day of. There are things people can expect when they come to a venue and unexpected, over-the-top service and professionalism that no-one could or should expect. You get it all here. I truly can’t say enough good words about this venue- it’s amazing and you must see it for yourself. And on top of that, the owners are amazing too!
The Brother Ranch venue brought all our wedding visions to life and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. Jonathan and Jessie were practically like family to us by the end of it all! They were super patient with all our questions during the planning process and always answered them in a timely fashion. They worked with our vision and were very open to our ideas in allowing us to bring them to life. They provided great recommendations on catering and other vendors. They are so sweet, down to earth & personable!
As far as the venue goes- it has SO much to offer!!! Make your dreams come to life with their ceremony area surrounded by gorgeous greenery & flowers, then head down through the bamboo forest to the serene reception area! Every bit of the venue is like a little piece of paradise. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing and gorgeous the venue truly is. The bar area is one of the most beautiful & welcoming ones I’ve ever been to at a wedding! The dance floor is perfect, and the beautiful window roll up doors make for a great addition if it gets too cold outside.
My husband and I were one of the first weddings the ranch had, and couldn’t have asked for more! We are thrilled to see what Jonathan and Jessie will do with the place later down the road, and cannot recommend them enough to host your wedding at their gorgeous venue. Hell, if we ever need a place for a big event/reception/reunion in the future, we’d be more than happy to have it here!!

250 guest wedding in the most beautiful setting!
The Brothers Ranch ended up being the perfect setting for our daughters wedding. Initially, we chose the venue because we could use our own vendors. It ended up being the best decision we ever made. Jonathon and Jessie went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect. They were so flexible and helpful and I can’t imagine having our daughter’s wedding anywhere else. The venue was gorgeous and the pictures that I have seen are absolutely beautiful. I will be replaying the day in my head for the next 20 years. Guests have been raving about the location all week! -
