After researching approximately 80 Chicago venues and touring 8, we landed on the Sculpture Garden at Bridgeport Art Center for our October 15, 2022 wedding and we are so incredibly happy we did. The ceremony space truly takes your breath away and the reception space is the perfect canvas for any vision. The staff was responsive the entire planning process, allowing us to stop by the space for additional tours and set up our walkthrough earlier than a couple weeks out. Eleanor was helpful in answering our questions and making sure we were able to bring every element to life. Working with Art of Imagination, experts on this space, really made our entire vision become reality. Our hotel block was at the Hilton Chicago and the Blackstone on Michigan avenue and it was easy to book a shuttle for our guests to and from the event space. We loved the location, the memorability of the space and the character it provided. The flow of the evening was perfect, the space is truly magical and our guests still comment on what a gorgeous venue we had. Book your wedding here! -

This was the first venue my husband and I visited when we started our wedding venue search, and we were immediately sold. We visited several venues afterwards, but nothing compared to Bridgeport Art Center's Skyline Loft. It is absolutely stunning and so unique. Besides the space itself being perfect, the wedding team at Bridgeport Art Center is incredible. We worked with Claire, Eleanor, and Tania, and each one was amazing to work with. They were responsive, attentive, and flexible. No matter how many questions or requests we had leading up to our wedding, they were excited to answer them. After our walkthrough, with all of their planning and attention to detail, my husband and I knew we didn't have a single thing to worry about, and we were so right. On our wedding day, everything went better than we could've imagined, and that is thanks to this amazing team. We are so grateful we chose this venue, and we will forever recommend Skyline Loft! -

We had our wedding here in the Sculpture Garden space and wow! What a fantastic space! We loved that the garden area was covered so we weren’t worried about rain but still had the outdoor feel. We used the garden area for the ceremony and it was a perfect space. In general, Bridgeport Art Center is fantastic for making it your own – as over the top or as minimal as you’d like! The architecture and industrial feel is the perfect backdrop for whatever else you want to do with the space. Kate and the rest of the team there took great care of us. We would recommend Bridgeport Art Center to any couple getting married! -

This venue is stunning, and your guests ride up in a giant vintage elevator with a chandelier that you can put a bar into. The architecture and wooden lofted feel is so beautiful that outside of some lighting and candles, you really don't need to do much in terms of production. Also great place if you want to do ceremony/reception on site; it was super easy. Highly recommend! -

Trisha Sent on 08/02/2015This venue is one of a kind and I would recommend to anyone and everyone. We had our wedding in the sculpture garden and it was absolutely stunning. Our wedding was in June, so we utilized the outdoor space for cocktail hour. It was the most perfect day and the staff at BPAC couldn't have been more helpful. The whole day couldn't have gone better and we owe so much of that to the Bridgeport Art Center team. Thank you!!! -

We originally booked BPAC (Sculpture Garden) for our October 2020 wedding. When we first visited BPAC, we fell in love instantly with the blank slate. One postponement and many months later, we finally got married at the Sculpture Garden in August 2021. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with the venue. Eleanor, our venue contact, was so helpful and communicative. The venue was GORGEOUS and the team was excellent. Everything turned out more beautiful and romantic than we could have imagined. Our guests raved about our venue. I’ll never forget this space!Bridgeport Art Center's reply:

User2263686 Sent on 08/10/2015The Skyline Loft at the Bridgeport Art Center is truly breathtaking -- both my husband and I actually gasped when we walked into the Skyline Loft and for the first time saw the expanse of the Chicago skyline through the windows, the gorgeous wood, and exposed brick. After visiting a couple other "loft" style event spaces, this was a clearly the most beautiful. One thing to know is that if you select Bridgeport Art Center you will have to purchase your alcohol package through Venue Logic, and they have an exclusive list of caterers from which to choose. Additionally, though the rental fee for the venue was steep for us, it is somewhat balanced by the fact that the venue does provide all of your tables and chairs, which could get very expensive to rent. We flooded the space with candlelight, which created an incredibly warm and beautiful feel, and we avoided the very large cost of hiring a lighting company. On a practical level, the bridal suite is incredibly convenient and it is nice for guests (if you're having a big wedding) to have the big, beautiful restrooms so that there are no lines or bottlenecks. Kate from VenueLogic was willing to meet with us in person whenever we needed, and was very responsive to questions or text messages -- she is really great to work with. Our guests have been complementing the venue for weeks since the wedding, but most importantly it allowed us to have the exact feel that we wanted for our wedding. I highly recommend the beauty and spaciousness of the Skyline Loft! -

When I first saw the Sculpture Garden I knew it was where I wanted to get married! I loved the industrial beauty of the space, and the convenience of the reception right inside. It did not need a lot of decor because the space speaks for itself. I also loved the items that were included in the contract and think they really helped our vision take shape; the fire door table, the chairs, the industrial details of the entry. I dreamed of being married outside but was afraid of unpredictable weather, and this the was the answer I was looking for! It snowed and poured on our October wedding and guests did not notice because of the covered ceremony space and glassed in window. We were lucky to get one of the last available dates, as it does book very quickly.
At first it was a bit confusing who we were supposed to be talking to, but eventually Kate became our main contact. Kate was wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful. But, a few weeks before our wedding we were passed to someone else. They did not seem to know the details of our day, and as a bride planning in a different state that was frustrating and exhausting. I did not like the way I was being treated by this woman, but once I contacted Kate she stepped right back in and took care of everything which I really appreciated.
Our guests are still speaking about how unique of a space it was and how beautiful each area was! We are so happy to have been married here. -
