Love my dress!

I ended up going with a fit and flare dress with detachable train and I am obsessed with it! I didn't need any alterations done and all my fittings went smoothly. The staff here is very helpful and I didn't have any issues.

My experience at the Bridal Chateau was wonderful! Finding my gown was the easiest and best part of planning the wedding!! The care they took to alter and fit my dress, especially the sleeves, was flattering. They truly care to make you feel your best and be the most beautiful bride!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with the Bridal Chateau. Brenda helped me on my first visit. She was extremely helpful, welcoming, and made me feel so comfortable with the whole experience. I ended up purchasing my dress on my first visit. My experience continued to get better. Terri was wonderful with alterations, and the staff in general were always so helpful each time I went in for a fitting. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone I know who is getting married.

Everything about my experience was excellent. I must have tried on about 8 gowns and the one I picked turned out to be one that the consultant had pulled for me. She knew exactly what I was looking for and nailed it! She had expert knowledge of their inventory and was nothing short of helpful and patient. The gowns they carry are all reasonably priced and the owner is a master of alterations. This woman can pull apart a dress and rebuild it into anything you desire.

When we walked in to your business I knew this is where we would find the dress to make her day memorable. The building and atmosphere made the experience that much more special. Your selection was never ending, and with the help of your designer we really saw the potential for a dress that was not what we were looking for. I was in town visiting my parents over Thanksgiving, and wanted to shop with my mom and sister for my dress. The Bridal Chateau was able to accommodate us on the Saturday after Black Friday. We were greeted the moment we walked in and were given the proper forms to fill out. Although I was early for my appointment, Flavia, the associate assigned to me, was more than happy to begin immediately. She allowed my sister and I to pull all the dresses we wanted to try on and she asked me several questions to ensure she pulled the right ones. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Flavia worked with my mom to look at tiaras while I tried on dress after dress. I loved all of the dresses she pulled for me. She took my date, time of year, and personal tastes into her selection process and I wound up with a sensational dress by Symphony. Terry, the owner, was also very attentive. She helped me pick a veil and told me she could customize it any way I'd like, and she was the one who found the winning tiara to match my dress. Everyone was amazing and made this experience truly one in a million. Please try them out if you are looking for top service and a beautiful, affordable dress.

The help I received here was out of this world! My Maggie dress was gorgeous and fit perfectly thanks to the skilled workers. I even had some personalized requests, such as adding straps and custom clips for my hair that they were able to make! Everything turned out perfect and I could not be more happy that I went here for my dress!

I had a wonderful experience at The Bridal Chateau. This was the first and only place I visited to find a dress. If funny because I visited with an idea of the dress I wanted, and when they told me they don't carry that style, we just decided to stay and try on other dresses just to see if I'd like anything else.

I ended up trying on 3 dresses that day. My sister picked one in the window for me which I didn't like on the hanger. When I tried it on I fell in love. She ended up crying and we bought it in October 2014. The only worrisome thing was that it didn't actually get delivered until July 2015(which is more than enough time for our October 2015 wedding). I think I had 2 alterations appointments. During one of them I couldn't fit my arms in the sleeves, they tightened it too much. No problems though, she just sewed the fabric under so no big deal in the end.

The alterations were perfect. The dress was perfect. As an out-of-town bride they worked with my schedule and I would definitely recommend them again and again.

I had been everywhere and had not found "the dress", until I went to Bridal Chateau! (even then it still wasn't THE dress, but after alterations to have straps added and the intricate bead work that Terri took the time and labored over so they would look like they belonged there all along) I couldn’t have been happier with my dress. I felt like a princess and I never once had to worry about ‘falling out of my dress’.

As I look back at our wedding pictures, I could not have pictured myself in a strapless dress and the gown I had, was just SO PERFECTLY "ME"! Thank you Terri.

I also bought my tierra, veil, and jewelry from Bridal Chateau; and I ended up wearing my veil the entire reception. It was too beautiful to take off!

I got my wedding gown for my June 20th wedsing at Bridal Chateau. It was definitely my dream princess wedding gown and I could not have been happier. The staff was extremely helpful and the owner with her sewing skills was fantastic! Price was semi-reasonable for the gown...but worth every penny with how beautiful I felt in it. I have nothing but praise for Terri and her team for the best experience a bride could have for her wedding.

I have purchased a minimum of 4-6 dresses from Bridal Chateau since high school (prom gowns, special occasion gowns, etc.) I have always received the same treatment and excellent alterations done by Terri.

As a bride, you expect a bit of special treatment and fussing when you are shopping for your wedding dress, and you will certainly get that here. I've been in several weddings therefore been to numerous bridal shoppes. This one is a step above the rest. I received a very attentive and positive experience with the staff at The Bridal Chateau from my first visit, to my final fit. I know several brides who purchased their gowns at this shoppe as well and heard nothing but good things. The owner/seamstress (Terri) is truly talented. Her vision is golden. I did not have just the basic alterations to my dress. We made several changes to the straps, back and train, as well as adding some embellishments. She made my dress everything I wanted it to be and more. Saying I loved it would be an understatement. I was extremely pleased with my experience at The Bridal Chateau. I would recommend any bride to make a stop here. It was about an hour from where I live and worth every drive!!

I bought my wedding gown from here as well as my veil and also had all alterations done in the shop. The staff was all wonderful and very accommodating to myself and my entire family. I had removable sleeves created as well as a sweetheart neckline altered into a very intricate top as well as several other alterations. Everything came out beautiful and they were extremely friendly considering my obsessiveness with perfection. I received about a million compliments on how gorgeous my dress was and I couldn't ask for anything better. My grandmother also purchased her dress from here and had it altered and received equally good service. The owner does tells everyone exactly how it is, which I suppose some people may not appreciate, but I loved her! My sister has also purchased her dress from the bridal chateau for her wedding in June and I look forward to seeing the end product because I'm sure it will be just as beautiful.

I had an amazing experience from my first appointment when I was on the hunt for the dress til yesterday when I picked up my dress. I can't wait to go back when it's my maid of honor'a turn to get married because she already decided she wants to come here too. Kathy was amazing and the three hours (yes 3 hours!) at my initial appointment we spent with her flew by and were memorable and awesome. We had so much fun, but she really paid attention to what I was interested in, asked all the right questions and read my body language. I felt like a Barbie doll. The entire staff was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The owners made it a point to let us know that they could make any and all alterations to any gown and add or take away anything. Great customer service. I'm very glad I purchased my gown from them. The location is beautiful too. It's a big, old house with gorgeous wood work and comfortable chaise lounges - I didn't want to leave!!
Yesterday at my final fitting they wrapped everything up safely for me and even carried it to my car!
Tip - they have a parking lot right across the street!

After I purchased my junior semi and prom dress from the Bridal Chateau, I knew that I would end up finding the perfect wedding dress there. As soon as I tried the dress on, I knew it was the one. The price was reasonable for the amount of dress and embellishments on the dress. I purchased the dress about a year and a half before my wedding and the Bridal Chateau was very accomodating. I received a phone call when the dress was delivered. They stored my dress and my veil for me up until a few days prior to my wedding. The alterations department was incredible. Overall, I had a very wonderful experience with the bridal chateau!

I bought my bridal dress from the Bridal Chateau. They were all kind and courteous and had a large selection of dresses to chose from. I found my dream dress. However, I had lost weight right before my wedding. I didn't think they could make it fit. There were three layers of fabric in my dress sewn together with beading. She would need to take the dress completely apart, including taking the beading off. Take in each piece of material, and then sew the beading back on. The dress ended up fitting me like a glove. She worked a miracle on my dress. If you need someone to trust for drastic alterations, the Bridal Chateau is the place to go! Everyone in the shop is absolutely wonderful!

I got my wedding dress from The Bridal Chateau and I cannot say enough about how wonderful Terri and the entire staff was to work with. From helping me try on several dresses to making my dream dress fit just right, they did it all! Terri also did some amazing and beautiful add ons to my dress and so many people noticed the details that she took time to add. I also loved the flexibility of the store hours. I was able to go in the evenings after work or on Saturdays for my dress fittings. I live about an hour away from the store and the drive was completely worth it! I highly recommend Terri and her staff!

Bridal Chateau was recommended to me from my fiancées aunt. I felt like I had searched everywhere within a 100 miles radius of Williamsport. I live on the west coast and only had a short amount of time on my visit home to find a dress. I called the shop one day and explained my situation. They offered to stay late for me. Turns out I found my dream dress! The only problem was it didn't have the amount of lace I wanted. The staff called the dress maker and was able to order extra lace for me.

After the dress came in I had several fittings. Each time I took the red eye in to Philadelphia and them drove to Berwick. Every time the staff was able to accommodate my crazy arrival changes and deal with my changing flight schedules.

I picked up my dress today and couldn't be happier. The owners alterations were absolutely perfect! She spent countless hours sewing additional lace on (and dealing with my losing weight) and it looks like it was meant to be there.

I am a very picky type A person and would highly recommended Bridal Chateau to anyone looking for a wedding dress.

This place is amazing. Not somewhere that you might expect to find in a small town like Berwick! My dress fits like a glove because the seamstress is incredible. I had three fittings and the total alterations cost was 105 bucks. Classy place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any future bride!!

I want to begin with saying if I was able to rate Bridal Chateau beyond a 5 I would!!! I have been on the hunt for my wedding dress for a few months. I had one specific look in vision of my wedding gown and searched high and low to realize no one seemed to even design/carry what I wanted. I then made a visit to Bridal Chateau and started to look around and I was getting doubtful and the owner Terri kindly came and introduced herself and heard me explaining what I exactly wanted but no one even makes a dress like this... Long story short, Terri created my design I visioned!!! Let's just say my dress is STUNNING and all the long hard work she put into helping me create my vision and brining it to life made me feel soo special knowing it was possible!!! The ladies along with the owner Terri are so caring and sweet! They know exactly what they are doing! The bridal shop is very clean, organized, professional, and BEAUTIFUL! The second you walk through those doors you feel like a princess! I am so thankful for this experience I was able to come across and to say I had a design in my mind from very little detail and to find that individual like Terri to create it was a experience of a lifetime!

Hi Brides. My name is Jess. I have been hunting for "the dress" and I found it here. The staff out of the 5 places I have been were the most helpful here. My consultant was Ashley (AMAZING) she helped me so much. I never felt pressured! I had found a gown here and put my deposit down, although after leaving I wasn't 100% sure about it. After talking to Ashley I came back in and found "the dress" there were no if's and's or but's about me changing my mind which was really nice of them. The gown I chose is amazing! Every time I think about it I get these little butterflies in my stomach and the feelings of excitement.

I would recommend Bridal Chateau to anyone looking for "the dress". the inside is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm. I didn't feel like "just" another bride and they were not interested on "just" making a sale. Bridal Chateau cared, which made me feel at ease. Love this place!!

I had the most wonderful experience at the Bridal Chateau. The salon is BEAUTIFUL, and being there really made me feel special (as a bride should). The selection at the Bridal Chateau is great, and so are the prices! I went in with a very specific vision of what I wanted. I tried on a few gowns in the style I picked, and then my consultant, Kathy, made me try something completely different. I am certainly glad she did! The dress fit me perfectly--I have never looked so beautiful in any piece of clothing ever before in my life. She was patient with me throughout the appointment, and ran back and forth to grab different accessories. When I went back to order my dress, there was only one consultant working, and she was with another bride. Though she was busy, she allowed me to try on my dress again (without an appointment), and to look through the different accessories. I had a few ideas for altering the dress, and they brought them all to fruition. The seamstress did the most amazing job of adding cap sleeves to my dress. The beadwork she did on them was incredible--all by hand! I received so many compliments on the dress on the day of my wedding! I can't say enough good things about this place.

Where to begin...this bridal shop and the owner was absolutely AMAZING!! I purchased a dress from Klienfelds- yes the one and only in NYC...I spent thousands of dollars on my dress there..when I received it, it wasn't what I expected...Terri, the owner of the bridal chateau, completely altered my dress to make it exactly what I wanted...she also made my wedding veil which was a Russian veil- it was to die for!! Not only did she make me look beautiful for my wedding day, but she hand made all my bridesmaids dresses from scratch!! I told her what I wanted, she sketched the dresses for me, and then made them. My wedding was in buffalo so I had a lot of out of towners coming back and forth. Terri and the other workers (Linda was my personal favorite!) we're so professional and treated all the girls wonderfully- given that they traveled so far, I was really happy about that. This store is full of the most up to date dresses and gowns...my mother bought her mother of the bride dress here because she liked the color (and price!)...she want completely sold on the design, soooooo Terri completely altered my mothers dress to fit her image and desire. I cannot speak highly enough about this bridal boutique. I still pop in to say hi when in town...amazing....

I had a wonderful experience with the Bridal Chateau! Everyone on the staff was very helpful and friendly, and they don't work on commission, so you can expect honest feedback when you're trying on a dress. I got my wedding dress here, and my mother also got her dress for my wedding here. The staff was kind enough to accommodate us to have our appointments for fittings and alterations at the same time. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a wedding gown or prom dress.

I stopped in for an appointment with my mother and future mother in law yesterday and ended up buying my gown. This was my first bridal salon that I even went to. I never thought in a million years that I would find my dress the first time out. I shocked myself, my mother and even my mother in law. The dress was MY DRESS. I knew the second I put it on and I tried it on 3 times.

Linda was my consultant that helped me and she was the sweetest woman. She helped me pick out styles, listened to my opinions and helped me into dresses. She ran and grabbed veils and head pieces for me to try. What a sweetheart.

Terry also came out of her office and when she saw me in the one gown that i ended up buying, she told me how we could customize it to fit my exact vision. Add more jewels here, cut some material out there, etc. She even said she could help me accessorize with whatever I wanted. She is such a great person and she actually sold me on the whole thing. Just knowing that I had someone who actually knows the business and will treat me like her very own daughter....that was it for me. I SAID YES TO THE DRESS. The Bridal Chateau is amazing- wonderful people, and a beautiful building with a great selection.

This was my first and only place I went to look for my wedding dress. Their selection of dresses was fantastic, and in all price ranges (I actually spent less than I budgeted). There happened to be a trunk show the day of my appointment (which is very common), which is when I found the perfect dress. The fitting process was also very easy, I had 3 appointments total, and only needed minor alterations, but they were done quickly and precisely. They had large rooms upstairs for fittings and let you look at yourself in the large mirror and take as many photographs as you liked. I also was offered free jewelry with my purchase, which the owner makes by hand, and it was absolutely gorgeous. They also have many other accessories, including veils/headbands, shoes, purses, and they rent out male tuxedos. Go here first to find your dress, you won't be disappointed!

The ladies of Bridal Chateau were by far the sweetest, most attentive bridal shop helpers. Their selection was wonderful and worked great from small budgets to big budgets.
Don't think you have to go into a big city for a great dress because this bridal shop is wonderful! Great service & beautiful gowns made my experience @ the Chateau amazing.

The staff at Bridal Chateau were very knowledgeable and friendly. They made sure to ask all the right questions to find the right style and shape of dress for me. They also kept in mind my budget. This place is so big and has so many different dresses in styles everyone would love. I almost did not go look here because it was an hour away from where I lived, but it was worth the drive.

I found my dress for my wedding at Bridal Chateau. I have lived near Berwick my whole life but never gone into this business before searching for my wedding dress. I was very impressed by the variety of dresses they have in stock. I found my dress on the first trip to the shop. I was also very happy with the fittings. The dress was way too big when it came in, but the fittings made my dress look like it was made for me. My train was pretty long, and the bustle they came up with made it look natural to the dress. The only issue I had was the bridesmaids and mother of the bride dresses were a little pricey. But overall I was happy with the chateau and would recommend looking here at the great variety of dresses.

Honestly, finding a bridal gown was the most daunting aspect of the wedding planning process for me. I was so convinced I would never find a flattering dress, that I refused to sign a contract with any venue until after I found a dress. I had visited a few other stores and found a few dresses that would be okay. But coming to The Bridal Chateau, had me falling in love with my dress. The tone of the shopping experience is set the second you walk into their beautiful building. You know immediately that this is going to be a special experience for you. They had the most dress selections for a plus size bride than any of the other stores. And they were all beautiful. I don't like crowds, so I appreciated that they had late store hours two days each week. This allowed me to come in the evening and have a quieter experience than a weekend. It's important to know the type of shopper you are, and I'm definitely more of the quiet, loner type. Though I did have both my parents for this shopping excursion. Truly, this experience ended up being a highlight of my wedding planning thus far. I found a dress that I just loved immediately. When I spoke with the owner/seamstress I mentioned I didn't care for the lace bolero that came with the dress. She said she could take the lace from the bolero to make my veil. Now that is what I call personalized attention/great customer service! I just got the call my dress has come in and I can't wait to go in for my first fitting. I would suggest this boutique to any bride of any size on any budget.

I bought my wedding dress here after looking first at David's and Alfred Angelo. I found the perfect dress, and then had a wonderful alterations experience - and I needed 5 fittings - that I know I would not have gotten from a chain store. I had my doubts about how well the dress could fit, but Terry (owner/seamstress) told me not to worry, and I really shouldn't have. By the time I walked out three days before my wedding with my dress and veil, it fit like it was custom made for me! All of the staff at the Bridal Chateau are friendly, courteous, and helpful - it really has been a great experience!

The staff at the Bridal Chateau are wonderful! I dreaded thinking about wedding dress shopping as I did not know what style I wanted or what would look best on me and I was worried about being overwhelmed by the entire process. The Bridal Chateau is an amazing shop with tons of styles to try, knowledgable staff and a true willingness to help ensure the customer has a positive experience.

This was the first boutique I visited and after trying on 12 different styles, I purchased my dress and all of my accessories on the first visit. Never once did I feel rushed or unimportant. The staff understands that purchasing your wedding dress is a major milestone and allow you the freedom and time to make the correct decision.

I could not be happier to have stayed far away from the big, flashy, major city boutiques. The Bridal Chateau provided the latest styles, a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and knowledgable staff to guide a bride every step of the way.

I was so pleased with my experience that I ordered by bridesmaids dresses there as well. With attendants spread across three states, the Bridal Chateau was wonderful in assisting my ladies without them ever setting foot in the store. This saved both time and money for me and my attendants and was very much appreciated!

Staff was always very kind, very willing to fulfill any of my requests (for a price, of course). They are not overly expensive and when I was first selecting my dress, they were able to customize small details that I wanted changed. Plus, the place is beautiful. I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Bridal Chateau. The woman I worked with is a little older, and I have to say that fact made me super nervous when we first started looking at dresses. She turned out to be amazing at what she does and was so helpful. I bought my dress at my first appointment, and she definitely made me feel like I made the perfect choice.

I highly recommend buying your dress as your first appointment because you receive $100 off of any accessories you pick! I ended up using it on the belt for my dress.

Whenever someone from here calls me, they're always pleasant. Whenever I call to schedule an appointment, the lady is not too pleasant at first. That's the only reason why I didn't give a perfect 5 in every category.

I purchased my wedding gown from The Bridal Chateau. My experience in finding my dream gown was fantastic! The staff was so helpful and flexible in letting me try on whatever I wanted. My only complaint was that they told me it would take 6 months for my gown to arrive and it took almost 8 months. No one called me to reassure me that my gown would arrive in time, and when it did arrive and I needed to schedule my fittings they weren't very flexible in accommodating when I could travel over an hour for each fitting (3 were required). The seamstress was amazing, as was her assistant. I think the only things they could improve on would be their administrative tasks.

I loved my gown and felt fantastic on my wedding day, which is all that matters!

The Bridal Chateau is a beautiful place to shop for a Wedding dress. I went there with a few dresses/styles in mind but the consultant who worked with me (Lisa) ended up picking the perfect dress for me. It was the 3rd one I put on and I knew it was the one. My one issue was that they ordered it 2 sizes too big (I have a larger bust so I'd understand 1 size bigger...) and I had to go to 4 fittings before it fit me correctly (still could have been a little tighter). I tried to tell them it was too big each time I was there but they assured me it would be fine once the bust was tighter. They were very friendly and each person I came in contact with was very helpful. The Bridesmaid dresses were also perfect ( received so many compliments on all of the dresses). The owner made a dress to match for my Jr Bridesmaid and it was also beautiful. I would definitely recommend the Bridal Chateau, just make sure you are more vocal about how your dress fits and what you want.

I have a good & bad experience with this place. I heard from a few people that they had a huge selection & they definitely did. When we walked in everyone was friendly & helpful. I found my dress the very first try but it was over my budget. The staff told me if I bought the dress that day that I'd get free alterations & $200 off an accessory which I thought was awesome until I saw a belt that was $400, which is nuts! There was also a headpiece that I really loved but it was $350 which I was NOT paying, so the owner offered to make me one for free which was nice! This is where the bad part comes in.. alterations. My 1st appt wasn't bad.. they pinned the hem & took it in on the sides. I came back for my 2nd appt & the hem was great, but the sides were rippling where they took it in. My 3rd appt there was still rippling & I was shown the headpiece.. it was awful! It looked like someone made it in 5 minutes & when I told the owner that it's not what I was looking for, she gave me attitude. My 4th appt, was finally better, the dress was fixed, but not the headpiece.. it was still horrible. When I finally went in for my final appt & to pick up the dress.. the owner agreed to give me the one I liked the very 1st day for free b/c the one she made just wasn't cutting it which I'm so thankful she did b/c it was 3 days before my wedding. Overall the dress shopping was good, the alterations were okay, but it took 5 appts which is a lot! The major problem was the owner's attitude. During the alterations appts. she made me feel dumb for not liking her headpiece & that my dress was rippling & like I was crazy for wanting it fixed. The upstairs also smelled like cigarettes which was where my dress was for 6 months, that is not okay! Overall I'd recommend their selection, the prices were pretty high, but mostly I would not recommend their alterations. The owner was too rude too many times for me to want to tell people to go there.. I will say she was nice to me at my last appt.

This vendor has a large selection at a reasonable price. However, we had to pay for our alterations and the seamstress had a mind of her own. For the amount of money we paid for our attire, the alterations should have been included.

Bridal Chateau has an amazing selection of dresses. I found the perfect dress. I got everything else as well from here such as tuxs, bridesmaids gowns, etc and they offered a discount. I was very satisfied with the service until some last minute hangups with alterations, one particularly rude worker, and missing tux parts. Otherwise, things pulled together nicely in the end.

I purchased my dress from the shop and Kathy was very nice and helpful. She found me a dress that fit my likes and needs perfectly! And it fit perfectly into my budget! So when it was time to go suit shopping for the guys, we came back. Their suits are supplied by Jim's Formal Wear and there were 2 very large books to look through. Before we came to the shop, we decided on grey suits. There were only a few greys to choose from in the book and the one we liked best was a slim fit. I was concerned with the fit since the groomsmen were not tiny guys. We were assured that they would be measured properly. Made the appointment for them to be measured in beginning of May. Well, close to the end of May (wedding was June 22nd) I called to see when the suits would be in. I was told they would come in for the Tuesday before the wedding. Again, I voiced my concern with that being so close and what if there were problems. I was again assured that all guys would need to come in that day to try the suits but they needed to wait for the shop to give them a phone call. But if I wanted the suits to be delivered 1 week before the wedding, it would cost an additional half rental! So we waited until they came in on the Tuesday before. All guys went in and only 2 guys out of 6 fit properly! I was promised that the pieces that were too big would be delivered in 2 days. Well, apparently Jim's Formal Wear had "a problem" with FedEx and the pieces were not going to be delivered Thursday but would be in on noon Friday- wedding day! Good thing our wedding was at 6pm!

Holes were found in the veil the day of my wedding. I called the shop the day of to tell them about it. The owner stated that she “didn’t know the extent of the damage but now that I’m seeing it, this could have easily been worn over your face.” She also stated “how do I know the hole did not get there by your hair stylist.” I explained that the veil did not come out of the bag they put it in until the day of my wedding. I also brought up the unfinished tulle at the base of the veil where she stated “that’s easily fixed” and took a pair of scissors and proceeded to cut off a piece of tulle hanging out. I stated “I’m not going to do that on my wedding day. I’m not the professional here to do that. You are the professional.” The owner then took the veil out of my sight and came back to the desk with my veil on her head and over her face. Then she asked me in front of her employees “show me where you can see the hole. You can’t see it, show me, you could have worn it over your face.” I told her “no I could not have!” Then she went on a rant about my dress. I told her that I felt a pick on my leg later to find out that there were still 4 pins left in the dress. She became irate and started saying that the dress was perfect and how dare I call her unprofessional. She said that was the reason for my phone call that day in August, because I had issues with my dress. I stated “you just admitted a few minutes ago that I called you about the veil, now you’re saying it’s because of the dress?” She swore up and down then that I did not call her about the veil. She then threatened me by saying she was calling the police. At that point, I took the store credit and left the store in tears. I felt that they gave me the store credit knowing I would never return. Later I went back and gave them the store credit, keeping my veil with no success of getting my money back. I do not recommend this business to any bride-to-be. Service is unprofessional post wedding.

Went to try wedding dresses on here. They didn't even help me put it on and didn't have good clips to tell how it would look on my shape. I saw one dress I really liked but since no one could help me see how it would really look I took my business else where which I'm glad I did!!

Wonderful experience finding my bridal gown! However, I do not recommend getting your fittings/ alternations done here. My dress already arrived at the perfect length and I still have SEVEN additional fittings! My dress was not ready until 5 days before my wedding and the bustle broke right after our first dance! Go else for fittings and alternations!!!

The bridal chateau has some of the most beautiful dresses around. I absolutely loved my dress. However, I felt that once you buy a dress there they no longer care, it's just about the next sale. First, the girl that does measurements told me to go up 2 sizes. I spoke up and said I would not do this because I listened to her when I bought a bridesmaid dress there and the first time I tried it on it fell right off. Her attitude changed towards me after that. When my dress came in at my first fitting The dress was still hanging off my shoulders, but I was told it looks fine. This left me feeling uncomfortable in my dress. I spoke up and had to let them know it still needs to be taken in which was then rushed to finish.
They treat you like a princess when you are trying on wedding dresses, but once the sale is made you are rushed and don't matter.
So if you decide to buy one of their absolutely beautiful dresses, know your measurements prior to going so you know the correct size to order and spend the money to get it altered else where.

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT,DO NOT GO HERE! I went to bridal chateau my first time looking for the perfect wedding gown. It was the worst experience of my life and they ruined the entire experience for me. When I first got there, they had no one schedule to help me with finding a dress, told me the girl went home...ummm okay?? I did have an appt mind you! In return, they placed me with who was perhaps the dumbest person on the planet! Brenda is her name and she was absolutely terrible! She had no idea where any type of gown I was looking for was located. I told her what my size was and what I was looking for, she picked out the opposite. My sister, mother, mother in law and myself picked out dresses on our own, Brenda brought us to the fitting room and closed the curtain. She did not help me put any of the dresses on! Terrible, horrible, what a nightmare.My sister helped me into every gown. Brenda did not put any of the dresses away, I put them all back on the hanger and back into the bags. The owner of the store is not much better. She came over and told me I looked perfect in every dress. She was just trying to make the sale. I had to suggest adding a belt to certain dresses or adding a sleeve. I also suggested to add a veil so I could see what the entire look was. I don't know if this girl was new, however, if she was, I would expect for someone to be with her since she was clueless about anything that had to do with a wedding gown. At one point she asked if it was called and empire waist or umpire?? Umm what!?!?!? Clueless!!!!!Dress after dress, Brenda kept commenting on what she thought of each gown, which were far from positive, anything that came out of her mouth was negative. I will never return to bridal chateau and I am ashamed that I came here in the first place. The entire experience of trying on my first wedding gown was a complete disaster and makes me have no interest in trying any other gowns on. Thanks for nothing!

Stay Away from this place ..first they called my daughter to tell her the gown was in when she arrived the gown was not there..when she asked them to check the status with the vendor she was told they couldn't and she was sent away.was told call back tomorrow the other girl will be in.
In the men time she called the vendor herself and the gown showed up the next day..
She went back to pick her dress up and they refused to let her try it on again because she was using her grandmother as her seamstress she was told if u don't have it altered here you can't try it on here again...what a racket I thought it was a first class salon,it is actually a Nickle dime store operation..and their vendors need to think twice about dealing with them.We paid a lot for the dress they are not cheap...STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE..OH AND THE WOMAN HUNG UP ON ME TWICE.THIS PLACE IS ONE FOR CHANNEL 6 NEWS.
