We recently had our wedding here and it was amazing. The oceanfront setting made for a beautiful ceremony, and every detail of the venue was thoughtfully decorated and perfectly executed. The reception was flawless: the food, service, and overall atmosphere couldn't have been better. Our guests were raving about it.
A special shoutout to Sandy and her team for being so helpful and making sure everything ran smoothly. They made the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend The Breakers for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue!

The best day of our lives! 04.11.26!
We just recently had our wedding and rehearsal dinner at the Breakers and from the planning, to the food, to the hotel, to the ball room, to the hospitality every little thing was absolutely perfect! I never had to worry about a single thing Shannon and Sandy took my vision and turned the entire weekend into my dream wedding weekend! I can’t possibly thank them and the entire staff enough for making the most important day of our lives so loving and special! We had 200 guests and every single one of them said our wedding was the best wedding they’ve been to in a long time! If you or someone you love is getting married the Breakers in the only place I would trust with yours or their special day!!

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing experience with having our wedding at the Breakers. They were so helpful and eager to help us make it the perfect day! Sandy was our wedding coordinator and was very understanding and helped me plan basically the entire event. We received so many compliments about the cocktail hour on the front porch and how delicious the food was. We can’t wait to go back and reminisce over dinner!

Our experience working with The Breakers was nothing short of amazing. Their honestly is not an adjective out there to use to describe how great it truly was. And of course the day itself did not disappoint either. The resort/venue staff, the service staff, the maitre d, the servers/bartenders, the family owners were awesome, and to save the best for the last, our coordinator Gina, was without a doubt the best part of our amazing experience. Beautiful Reception at The Breakers on the Ocean!
I had my wedding reception at The Breakers two weeks ago, and I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. Sandy was our coordinator, and she was such a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure that all of our requests were met. She was truly there for us every step of the way, answering all of our questions promptly and scheduling meetings with us to touch base and discuss any updates prior to our wedding day. Our maitre d, Michele, was absolutely incredible - the service surpassed our expectations. Additionally, you cannot beat the location of this venue - right on the beach in the gorgeous town of Spring Lake, NJ. Our cocktail hour was on the Ocean Terrace and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The Crystal ballroom is beautiful and was a great space for our wedding of 150 people. The morning after our wedding we did a breakfast which was also a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this venue!!

Simply the BEST
Our wedding at The Breakers was beyond all of our expectations. Not only did myself and my husband think everything was PERFECT, our guests did too. Everyone raved about the amazing food, the delicious deserts, and how great the bartenders and servers were. Our coordinator, Shannon, was accommodating, easy to work with, gave wonderful suggestions and made everything top notch. Our maître d', Michelle, is simply phenomenal at her job. She made sure the entire day ran smoothly and she did so with such ease and professionalism. Our personal server, Claudia, was attentive, detail oriented and so very kind. The Breakers went above and beyond for us on our special day and we are so grateful we chose such an amazing place to have our wedding. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our love. The owners of this boutique venue have created something that is absolutely stunning and intimate with beachfront charm and modern grace all within a picture perfect setting in Spring Lake.
The entire staff are truly exceptional, from the front desk, to the restaurant (Anna & Pepe Chewy) for our many out of town guests, our Welcome Party hostess in the Regency Room (Sandy) and of course the entire wedding crew (Claudia, Sandy, Michelle and all of our servers). They all went above and beyond to make sure our pre-wedding festivities and wedding day were everything we ever dreamed of. We have to give a special shout out to Shannon DiBenedetto, the director of sales who was an absolute lifesaver. She helped us with every detail (beginning to end), from planning the ceremony, suggesting vendors, coordinating the Welcome Party, cocktail hour and reception, and choosing the perfect menu. She was always available to answer our questions and offer her valuable expertise. By the time of our wedding day, we felt like Shannon was a member of our family.
Our guests are still talking about the amazing time they had, the delicious and plentiful food, the incredible views (we had a cotton candy sunset during our cocktail hour on the terrace!), and how wonderful the staff was.
We are so grateful to everyone at The Breakers for making our fairy tale wedding come to life. It was truly magical from the beginning to the end. The Breakers on the Ocean- The Leontes
My husband and I cannot express how much we loved our experience at The Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake, NJ. We worked closely with Sandy and I could not imagine it any other way. Sandy is very hands on and wants to make your day perfect. She is there for any questions and makes herself available to help bring your vision to life. We were able to drop off decor in advance and the staff took care of everything start to finish. The next day we were able to pick up all our belongings.
The venue style allowed for us to feel intimate and at home while accommodating our 140 guests easily. The food and service was wonderful. We went "jersey shore" from our "sexy" truffle fries and sliders in cocktail hour to a pork roll egg and cheese as late night snack. Having ocean views from the porch, the beautiful parks and charming atmosphere in the surroundings area of Spring Lake is what makes Breakers so unique. We are reliving our favorite day over and over in our photos.

Classic Venue, wonderful experience
My daughter’s wedding at the Breakers was simply beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The Breakers is a classic venue that let’s the elegance of Spring Lake and the Atlantic Ocean speak for themselves. The ballroom comfortably held our 165 guests for the ceremony. Everyone loved the cocktail hour on the porch. The service staff was wonderful all day. Shannon was a joy to work with for the many months between booking and the event. She was available in the days leading up to the wedding, and at our side the whole day of making adjustments on the fly – which is saying a lot considering the Breakers is a busy hotel in the beginning of it’s season. I’m really happy with the way the whole event went.

What a wonderful experience we had for our daughter's wedding at The Breakers! Each step of the way we were treated so nicely. There was constant communication and cooperation from everyone we came in contact with! The staff was so pleasant to work with and they were very accommodating to anything we asked for help with. May Wedding
What made us decide on the this venue was experiencing the hotel in person, we met with Shannon almost a year ago and got a tour of the venue.
Her professionalism and kindness was unmatched. We stayed the night in the beautiful rooms and had dinner at the restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing. We knew almost immediately this was where we wanted to get married. Fast forward a year and the big day finally arrives and because of Shannon and her team things ran so smoothly, everything was absolutely perfect. The cocktail hour on the porch with the beautiful ocean view was unmatched. We could not have asked for a more amazing day. Everyone was always super helpful and professional. The moment my daughter and now husband walked into The Breakers they were met with congratulatory on the engagement. Asked what they envisioned for their day. Went for a tour and was not being rushed and went through a complete timeline of a wedding. They both had tears in their eyes and booked right then and there. It was the first and only Venue they had been to but they new in their hearts this was the perfect venue for them. And it was we could not have changed one thing about that day it was truly was a stress free beautiful wedding!

Beautiful Venue with an Incredible Staff
Our wedding weekend at the Breakers was everything we hoped for and so much more! The venue’s beautiful ballroom was perfect for our indoor ceremony and our guests loved stepping out onto the veranda that overlooks the ocean during cocktail hour. Being able to get ready in our hotel rooms was so convenient and there was plenty of space for our wedding party and vendors. We loved getting to check in on Friday and not having to leave until Sunday. We held our rehearsal dinner, ceremony/reception, and next-day brunch all at the venue, so the whole weekend truly felt like a destination wedding. From our very first meeting with Sandy, we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to really get to know us and worked with us through every step of the process. She and her team flawlessly executed our vision and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of so that we could focus on celebrating with family and friends. We had the time of our lives and our guests raved about the gorgeous location and delicious food. We are so happy with our choice, and Sandy and the Breakers will always have a special place in our hearts!

Awesome wedding weekend at Breakers on the Ocean
We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the Breakers last weekend and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Working with Sandy on all the details was a dream! She made everything easy for us. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding ceremony and reception, as well as the breakfast the next morning - everything was top notch and exactly what we had hoped for. Sandy, Sondra and Michelle, as well as everyone of the staff were all instrumental in making the vision into reality. No detail was overlooked - the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The most perfect venue!
The Breakers was the PERFECT place for our wedding and had everything we were looking for! Not only was it affordable, but the food was delicious and the views were better than we could have imagined. Our guests raved about the views of the beach as they enjoyed the cocktail hour on the outside terrace! We worked with Shannon and Michelle who worked tirelessly to ensure our wedding day was nothing but amazing (even after we had to postpone due to covid!). You're doing yourselves a disservice to not at least visit this venue. Shannon, Michelle, and the rest of the wedding team at The Breakers make the entire experience as stress-free as possible. The Breakers was absolutely FANTASTIC from the moment we booked them for our wedding reception, throughout our COVID postponement, and until the day we were finally able to celebrate in October- a year after our original celebration. From the outset Shannon was a pleasure to work with and incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. The Breakers truly treats you like family and we couldn't have been happier that we stayed throughout the weekend and hosted our post-wedding brunch as well. As a COVID bride who had several other friends planning to get married during 2020-2021, I've heard so many horror stories of venues screwing over couples. Not the Breakers- they were the absolute best at communicating, rebooking us, and making everything seamless. The day of our wedding Michele was phenomenal as our maître d’ coordinating with our vendors and assisting myself and my husband throughout the day. The food was delicious and plentiful, our guests kept commenting on how good it was. The top shelf open bar was also one of our priorities when we were looking at venues- and the Breakers has it all without an extra charge for premium liquors. There is a reason why there are so many five-star reviews!! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful oceanside venue.

The Breakers on the Ocean was a perfect venue for our wedding! From the beautiful ballroom to the delicious food to the amazing staff and the gorgeous ocean view, The Breakers made this an unforgettable experience. Our wedding coordinator, Eileen, was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with. She was very accommodating to what we needed every step of the way-she even had the hotel hold off from putting out Halloween decorations so they weren't in the pictures (per my wife's request haha). The owners of the hotel are also AMAZING people! They gave us complementary drinks and made us feel special the entire weekend we were there and even in the following months. They recently posted a picture of my wife and her bridesmaids on International Women's Day, which made her day. My wife and I also stayed there for a few nights and the ocean view suite we stayed in was fantastic. Overall, our experience here was amazing and we highly recommend The Breakers to any couple considering this venue for their big day!

The Breakers is the PERFECT Wedding Venue!
The Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake is the PERFECT wedding venue. We as the bride's family and all of our guests were given the utmost attention from everyone who works there!! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and happy to help in any way possible, including Sandra helping this mother of the bride bustle my daughter's wedding dress!!!
The Breakers truly went out of their way to make sure every detail was perfect, from sending ice to the bridal suite while getting ready, replenishing the many tasty appetizers at the cocktail reception, serving up bountiful amount of delicious food at the wedding reception and giving every guest personalized attention throughout the entire evening.
My daughter the bride, her husband the groom and so many of our family and friends remarked what a special wedding we were blessed to have at the Breakers!!

"My husband & I had a beautiful fall wedding at the Breakers on the Ocean. We were looking for local elegance and charm with great service and food! We found all of this at the Breakers. An important deciding factor for us was the ability to make our wedding day simple and less stressful by having everything we needed in one spot. The Breakers was the perfect choice for us because we were able to have our ceremony, reception and post-wedding brunch all at the same venue. Additionally, the Breakers is a hotel so we were able to accommodate a large majority of our guests onsite. We received so many compliments on not only on the venue itself but also its location. I do love the beach, but I did not consider myself a beach bride. The Breakers offers multiple options for both the ceremony as well as pictures. We got married inside the venue but had beautiful pictures taken on the beach and down the street in the gorgeous Divine Park. Being in such a great area with strong local affiliations we were even offered free trolley transportation from a local bar for an after party which was a total hit for those that were interested.
The staff, specifically the event coordinators Eileen and Shannon, were always very accommodating. I felt they truly cared about our wants and needs. They were always very prompt with their response time, helpful with all of our questions and just very patient and kind overall. Molly at the hotel’s front desk was especially helpful and went above and beyond to be sure the hotel could accommodate my handicap brother appropriately. This meant so much to me!
Many of our guests commented on how much they loved both the food and our cake! The bakery they are affiliated with, the Chocolate Carouse, was delicious. Amazing wedding at an amazing venue!
My husband and I had our wedding at The Breakers in November and it was beautiful! The staff, views, hotel rooms and food are simply the best! We had such a memorable time and I couldn't picture having my wedding anywhere else.

Absolutely Amazing!
We were married a year ago at The Breakers and the team helped make our wedding simply flawless and amazing. Shannon, Michelle, Molly and the entire Breakers staff were attentive, courteous and dedicated to making our complete wedding weekend perfect for us and our guests. Beautiful Venue
I am so happy I chose Breakers to Marry the love of my life! The venue is absolutely beautiful, right next to the beach. The day was PERFECT! Eileen and then Katherine were amazing. Michelle our Maitre D’ was amazing too , they all made me feel very much LESS stressed! Everything went perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.

This place is just gorgeous. I had a small wedding so we were able to use the Seashell room so the viewing the ocean was just breathtaking. My wedding coordinator was very professional and easy to work with and food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it and go back there for future life events/ parties

The Breakers helped give us the most perfect wedding day. We worked with Eileen who was determined to make our day special from the very first meeting. Eileen is professional and always responsive to calls and email. She always answered any questions and alleviated any concerns. We did DIY centerpieces and we were able to drop them off early and the Breakers put them together and set up everything perfectly which was such a great relief! Our maitre’d Dona was amazing! She checked in with us to make sure we liked the table settings and kept everything for the reception on time. The staff also made sure my husband and I had everything we wanted to eat set aside which was so appreciated! Overall, the Breakers is an amazing wedding venue. Not only do you get beautiful views and pictures but you get top notch service and professionalism! You should definitely choose them for your big day!

It has always been a dream of mine to get married at the Breakers. Since I was young I would go to the beach across from the Breakers and watch all of the brides, they always seemed to have the best time. The day after we got engaged my husband and I booked the Breakers. Everyone was so incredibly wonderful to us and we could not be more excited to have our reception there. After we booked we had celebratory drinks on the porch over looking the ocean and we knew it was the perfect choice. Throughout the year Terri, Anthony and Joseph made sure we received everything we could ever dream of. The wedding day came and it was our dream come true! Everything was perfect. The food was insanely amazing, the wait staff was wonderful and so helpful and the Maitre D was simply the best! We had a Hoffmans truck come and the Maitre D made sure that my husband and I got ice cream even though we were unable to go out to the truck. We had a five piece band and 200 guests and we all fit perfectly and never had space issues. We were able to have cocktail hour on the porch overlooking the ocean, andmy husband and I took some night shots on the boardwalk. After the wedding we stayed in the honeymoon suite upstairs and that was also a dream. It was enormous and warm, and from our window we could see the ocean plus it had a big jacuzzi tub. It was the perfect spot for a romantic evening after our wedding. Since the wedding we have been back to the Breakers on numerous occasions for dinner, because the food is simply the best.
My sisters and friends of mine have gotten married at a few different venues, and I have to say this was the most helpful and loving staff as well as the best location, food and everything all for the best price! Everyone still talks about our wedding, that it was the best they have ever been to. I cannot recommend the Breakers enough. It was simply put, a dream.

I had my wedding at The Breakers on September 16, 2016 and it was amazing!!! From the moment we booked Terri and everyone at The Breakers was extremely responsive and wonderful with answering all our questions. The weather was absolutely wonderful, we had our cocktail hour out on the beautiful porch. The food was delicious, my groom actually had two meals himself! Since this was a second marriage for both of us, we didn't want a huge affair and yet we wanted it to be perfect. The Breakers gave us everything we had hoped for! We went with the brunch menu and oh my... We got it! The choices and the food itself was outstanding! The cocktail hour and appetizers were amazing! Where to even begin the staff at the breakers made my wedding absolutely perfect everything I could want and more. Shannon was always happy and so accommodating. She did it all! And the day of the wedding Michele was awesome she made sure I drank water (which definitely needed too) and made the whole night flow so great! Eileen and Donna did an amazing job with staying on top of everything for my wedding and making sure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend using the breakers for your wedding. We can't believe it was one year ago today that our son and daughter in law had the most beautiful reception here. Where do I start with The Breakers? My partner and I decided to get married in December and wanted to have our wedding in March of the following year. Three months is not much time to plan, but we figured we would be able to accomplish it. With the help of Shannon, Michele, Eileen, and the rest of The Breakers Staff we were able to have our perfect wedding ceremony.
I did some quick research and found The Breakers online on a Friday and met with Shannon the following morning (definitely impressed by their quick response time). Their quick response time and very accommodating nature continued throughout the entire planning phase of our wedding. I met with her several times/exchanged numerous emails and phone calls over the course of 3 months and she was always so kind and helpful. I think one of Shannon's best attributes is her ability to know what you are looking for, even before you know it. My partner and I had no idea of certain wedding etiquette and she was always there guiding us and letting us know what should/shouldn't be done. When Shannon was not available, her colleague Eileen was there to help me out, and I think it is the excellent teamwork among the staff that definitely shines through.
During our wedding day, Michele was our Maitre D, and she was so organized and thoughful that I didn't have anything to worry about at all during our wedding day. I had several lists and she executed them to perfection. She kept the flow of things so well, that my guests were telling me how they have never seen food coming out so quickly during the cocktail hour and our reception (which was done buffet style). I also want to commend our bartenders, who kept the drinks coming and made it so that my guests never had to wait long for their drinks. Lastly, the food at "The Breakers" is some of the best I've had (not just for a wedding but among restaurants too). Overall, they far exceeded my expectations. Thank you "The Breakers"!

I don't know where to start, The Breakers staff was out of this work and the venue speaks for itself! Our wedding went off without a hitch, everything was perfect. Eileen, Michelle and Molly at The Breakers were amazing they made the process so easy and fun. The food was delicious, cocktails amazing and the service we recieved were just incredible. It was worth every second and every dollar. Our guests loved the venue and said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too! Our guests that stayed over night LOVED the venue and the views of course. The rooms were clean and everything we needed was provided! The breakfast buffet the next day was the perfect end to a perfect weekend! 110% recommend to ANYONE! :-D

Eileen was great in showing us around the venue. Love their vintage look. There are a lot of venues that claim they are "vintage" but they are really just outdated. The Breakers is a beautiful venue that is in a gorgeous neighborhood right across the street. I am very excited about having my wedding there. I can't wait!
**Update**
The wedding was great!!! The weather was terrible! We could not hold anything outside. The ceremony was in the ballroom, cocktail hour was downstairs that had windows facing the ocean, and the reception was back upstairs in the ballroom. They did a great job switching the rooms over. I was able to drop off all my decorations a few days before.
The only issue/complaints I heard was the valet. The valet personnel was not that courteous, did not answer any questions the guests had about where to go, at times there was no valet because they were parking other cars. So there was no one there greeting the guests as they drove up. One of the valet drivers left a car door open in the terrible rain we were having. The guest contacted the hotel the next day and that issue is getting resolved.
But otherwise the food was amazing, our maitre d Michelle was amazing!! Eileen was so helpful!! Everyone had a good time; the bar was fully stocked with a good selection. It wasn't the bottom shelf stuff either; we did not have the option to choose the grade of alcohol we could get so I was curious to see what they provided. Everything was high quality. They have been doing some updates to the ballroom which I was happy to see.
Overall; the wedding was amazing, if my guests didn't have a good time it was their own fault.

The staff at The Breakers went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect wedding reception. Our glasses were never empty and our guests were treated like family by the exceptional staff. We had our entire wedding at the Breakers (rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, reception, brunch the next day) and I couldn't have been more happy! We live in Germany (I am from NJ, but my husband is from Munich), so practically the entire wedding was organized from abroad, and they couldn't have been more helpful or professional. Shannon, Michelle and Donna are amazing, and the whole staff really works together as a team, so if you tell one person something (even if it's not their responsibility), they'll make sure that it gets done.
Additionally, the Breakers as a venue is an amazing value for everything you get/can do there for your wedding. The only thing that made us a little concerned were the prices for the hotel rooms and that there was a 3 day minimum. It was a lot of money to expect people to pay. What we ended up doing is blocking rooms at the Marriot in Neptune for the people who were on a budget/only wanted to stay one night (there are ZERO hotels in Spring Lake or neighboring beachside communities that don't require at least a 3 night minimum). Some of our friends and family coming from Germany decided to actually stay at the Breakers, as they figured it was worth it to make it into a mini weekend. Every single guest who stayed at the Breakers was so happy they did, and felt like it was worth every penny. No one wanted to leave and everyone wanted to go back!
Finally: if you like seafood, definitely get the raw bar. It’s totally worth it. It’s the second best decision I have ever made in my life (best decision goes to marrying my husband).

Terri made our whole wedding planning process incredibly easy. She answered all our questions promptly and gave helpful advice. We loved the character of this venue and how close it is to the ocean. We had our wedding in the crystal ballroom, which is gorgeous. We met with Dona, our maître d, the week of the wedding. She knew exactly what to do with all our favors, candy bowls, sandal basket, etc. She decorated the room amazingly. Dona worked very well with our DJ and Photographers, which helped the night go smoothly. Terri & Dona really helped to make our wedding day perfect.

We knew immediately that The Breakers was perfect for our wedding! A very charming venue. So close to the ocean! The food is absolutely delicious. And EVERYONE on the staff is wonderful and caring. I cannot speak more highly of The Breakers. Hosting our wedding reception here was one of the best decisions we made. We selected The Breakers due to their amazing location and the value of the packages they offer. They include everything, and for a reasonable price - especially considering the area. We worked with Eileen in planning the reception, and she was a complete dream to work with. Very receptive and helpful. Everything in working with The Breakers went so smoothly. I loved that all we had to do was show up for the wedding and every detail was taken care of. Eileen, and our Maitre d' Donna, made sure that all my decor was in the proper place and that everything at the wedding ran smoothly. The food was delicious, everyone is still raving about it. The Breakers was an amazing place to have our wedding! We had the ceremony on the terrace outside and it was beautiful!! We had a sunny day which made it extra special! Shannon was super sweet and helped me with everything! She made sure everything was perfect for the big day. All of my guests raved about the food! The cocktail hour and reception was amazing! I would recommend weddings there 100%.

I had my twin girls Baptism at The Breakers this past Sunday. It was a day I will cherish forever. The room was set up well in advance and it was absolutely beautiful. Eileen, one of the sales rep, worked with me to make it exactly how we wanted it. It was the most perfect day :)

The Breakers staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very nice ocean front view. The seashell dining room had beautiful views of the Ocean while you ate. Food for breakfast was excellent! We will return to this hotel. Thank you Breakers Staff for being helpful, and professional. Bell service was A+ We got married on the beach in front of the Breakers and it was great accommodations for the wedding.

Can't say enough about the wedding! Was terrific! The food was excellent. when I had questions, they were always answered in a timely fashion. Also had a few people show up that didn't RSVP and they took care of everthing for me so I didn't have to worry! The only issue was slow elevator but it is an older hotel and this is to be expected.

Breakers on the Ocean was an absolutey gorgeous venue for our wedding. It was beautiful and we had our ceremony on the porch overlooking the ocean. The staff was wonderful and accomodating. I would highly recommend Breakers to any beach lover!

I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue! Breakers on the Ocean was fabulous! I had a small, intimate ceremony on the porch overlooking the ocean and our cocktail hour was also on the porch. The Breakers staff was very accomodating and professional. It was more beautiful than we ever imagined!

We loved our wedding at the Breakers. The sales rep, Terri, was informative and responsive. We were giving all the information we needed up front in a detailed conversation. As we got closer, we met with Dona, our Maitre D' who was a pleasure to work with. I left that meeting knowing that I could leave everything in her hands and feel confident it would all run smoothly. On the night of our wedding, we were greeted by Dona and introduced to our personal attendant who was so kind and easy to work with. She reminded us to eat which was a blessing! Everything went off without a hitch. We had a caketopper malfunction that Dona worked so hard to fix but was thwarted by an overzealous guest who, after she fixed it, knocked it over...again. In the end, we had an amazing night. Thank you Breakers! Food, service and views were spectacular!

We had our wedding at The Breakers on the Ocean in June 2013. It was spectacular; a dream come true. From the cocktail hour on the Ocean Terrace overlooking the ocean to the reception room with a fabulous ocean view and beautiful elegant decor.
The food was outstanding and the service was very professional without being stuffy.
The staff was wonderful to work with and very attentive the day of the wedding. The hotel recommended the most fabulous vendors (i.e. florist, musicians, transportation, invitations, etc.)
Our guests stayed in the Hotel the entire beautiful weekend and were so happy with their guest rooms, lunch at the pool, beach badges, dinner in the restaurant and cocktails on the Ocean Terrace.
We could not have asked for a more perfect venue.
I highly recommend The Breakers on the Ocean

We recently were married at the Breakers. Our ceremony was performed on the front porch. There were many areas of opportunity for great photos, including the Breakers sign out front. The gardens were blooming. The board walk and gazebo made for fun photos as well. The cocktail hour, also on the front porch, allowed our guests the view of the ocean while celebrating. Our guest list was small and we continued to enjoy the views from the Seashell Room, just inside by the porch.
Eileen, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She presented all details from the menu to the room set up. She brought us on a tour around the Breakers...the rooms, porch, grounds, as well as the complimentary room for us the night after our wedding. We brought our centerpieces, table favors, etc and everything was set up exactly as we explained. The wedding and reception was flawless, as we just enjoyed all the plans. The staff were fluent in presenting a wonderful buffet reception. Michelle was our matre de. She was very attentive in working with the staff.
We have visited the Breakers restaurant a few times to enjoy their food before our actual wedding. When our day arrived, we knew the cocktail hour choices and dinner would be wonderful. Our cake design was arranged at a local bakery, Delponte's. They did a wonderful job with the design and our guests enjoyed the cake as well as the chocolate covered strawberries on each serving.
We can't say enough about the Breakers. The hotel was exceptional..the rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful views of the ocean. They were a wonderful choice! We would mention to many of our friends where we were going to have our wedding and their responses confirmed our decision.."that's an awesome place". We'll continue to return for their restaurant and to visit with Eileen, who gave us a sense of warmth and friendship that doesn't stop when the wedding day is over. The Breakers is just another wonderful memory of our wedding.

Breakers is an amazing place for a wedding reception! The location right on Ocean Ave overlooking the ocean is perfect! We just got married this past Saturday or Memorial day weekend and unfortunately the weather was not cooperating (high of 57, rainy, and really windy!). The cocktail hour the should have been on the porch (which is beautiful) had to be moved downstairs. This was no problem at all because the indoor area was a great space as well...with large windows to see the ocean as well.
The whole process with working with Breakers was so easy. They made sure everything worked with our schedules, they weren't calling us if our payment wasn't recieved on the exact date it was due, and they answered any questions we had during the planning process. We had so many extra little decorations that we wanted for the reception and they made sure everything was placed exactly where i wantd them! Our Matre di made sure the night went smooth so that we didn't have to worry or stress about anything!
Breakers really offers a lot to couples planning their wedding. A cake from a local baker is included (you can custom design and choose from so many different fillings, so delicious!), silk centerpieces so you don't need to spend additional $$ on that, toasting flutes, and cake cutting utensils. All things that we weren't too crazy about buying, so it was nice that they could provide that to us. They also provide the Bride and Groom with a nice room the night of the wedding. Ours was Ocean View and it was beautiful!
Again, Breakers was great with everything. Thank you Breakers!

I loved everything about the Breakers! I got married on Sat. March 23. It was great because it was the off season, and my guests pretty much had the hotel to themselves. The staff was very attentive. They delivered my welcome bags to each guest's room, so they were waiting when people arrived. We had a great brunch the next day.
Terri was my wedding coordinator and Donna was my maitre d. Both were very sweet and accommodating. Everyone raved about the food. The views of the ocean were amazing as well.

My wedding was 27Oct12 at the Breakers. It was a wonderful experience! The venue was beautiful, the staff friendly and attentive and the food delicious. Not only were my husband and I extremely satisfied, but i continue to get comments from my guests on how much they enjoyed our wedding.

I recently got married on July 21, 2012 and booked my reception at The Breakers On The Ocean, it was the perfect venue! As a bride I naturally had many questions and concerns and wanted to ensure that every detail was taken care of. I couldn't have been in better hands! Terri Thompson helped me plan my dream wedding. She was there for me every step of the way! Terri and the other members of the Breakers team went above and beyond to make sure my wedding was perfect. She was always available to talk to me over the phone or through email and really helped me plan out every detail. My guests loved the venue and raved about the food and service! We had our cocktail hour on the lovely wrap around porch that overlooks the ocean and our reception in the beautifully decorated Crystal Room. Our guests stayed at the Breakers and enjoyed all of the amenities, such as the great pool and location on the beach! I would highly recommend the Breakers to brides looking for a beautiful and charming venue!

When I first met with Eileen Barnetti, the sales manager who is in charge of weddings, she said to me"Don't worry about anything!" How right she was. Not only did she guide me through the process, but gave me some wonderful ideas as well. As for the reception, it was spectacular! I used Wedding Wire from the moment I got engaged this site is a great help; therefore I hope anyone in South Jersey who reads this considers the venue I used!
My Husband and I were married on Friday July 29, 2011. Our ceremony was in the gazebo overlooking the ocean in Spring Lake, N.J.
Our reception was held right across the street at The Breakers. For those of you that are not familiar The Breakers is one of the most Beautiful Hotel and reception venues a Bride could ask for.
The hall is richly decorated; the staff extremely pleasant; professional and friendly The food is fabulous! We had an outrageous cocktail hour with many different choices! And the dinner served was delicious!
My mother was very ill and wheelchair bound on the day of our wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make my mother as comfortable as possible. Three weeks after the wedding; when they heard my mother had passed; they called me to wish their condolences.
The Breakers not only offers a beautiful wedding; but they treat you like family! If you want a Wedding day you will never forget I would strongly recommend The Breakers In Spring Lake! Lisa & Greg Felise

The Breakers was everything you heard, read, saw and more! The wedding coordinator was responsive and attended to our questions, concerns and indulged multiple visits to the site. The staff was very attentive and lovely, the guests enjoyed the beauty of the site as well as the luxury and comfort felt from the attention of the staff. The whole venue exceeded our expectations in appearance, cleanliness, attention and elegance. The location is perfect. We had our ceremony on the beach across the street, our cocktail hour on their lovely wrap-around porch and our reception in their Crystal Ballroom. The staff was friendly and willing to do everything needed for full enjoyment by all in attendance. The bartenders were awesome! They managed the guests very well. We had signature cocktails and they executed them perfectly. Our guests told us the food was great! There was revolving replenishment so guests were able to continuously go back for more. This was an amazing venue and brought our vision of our magical day to life. Our wedding planner created an amazing design which elevated the experience of this beautiful venue. All is all, the perfect location to have the most amazing wedding experience.

We were married and had our reception at the Breakers in September 2009. Shannon was our sales contact and Dona was our maitre'd. We had our ceremony in the gazebo across the street, so the Breakers was not involved in the actual ceremony, but they were very knowledgeable and helpful with questions we had regarding reservations or permitting for use of the gazebo. The Breakers did provide full service for our cocktail hour on the front porch, and reception in the Crystal Ballroom. We received nothing but compliments from our guests on the food, drinks, service, and beautiful atmosphere. Throughout the entire planning process, Shannon was helpful, attentive, and responsive, and we enjoyed working with all of the vendors she recommended (photographer, DJ, and florist). On the day of the wedding, Dona took care of everything and the day was perfect - I did have to worry about or take care of one thing. Additionally, the Breakers' wedding package was far more inclusive for the amount of money we were spending than several other vendors we researched in both the Washington DC and central NJ shore areas.

A+++++++++ Let's just say any reception hall that has a sewing maching onsite is a PLUS. One of our groomsmen split his pants during the processional. The Breakers staff had a sewing maching on site and had it fixed in 10mins. They made sure that Bobby and I had food and drink all night. The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was just as great!

Beautiful Oceanfront Venue with Classic Historic Charm
The Breakers on the Ocean far exceeded our expectations for our wedding. It has a classic historic charm, but with modern renovations. The ballroom, lounge, and restaurant are all truly beautiful spaces that are light and airy, yet very elegant - it makes it feel like you have gone back in time, but also makes you feel right at home, thanks to the amazing staff!
Our planner Gina was so amazing to work with. She was attentive and always had our best interests in mind. She even let us borrow things from her own daughter's wedding! She answered all of our questions throughout the process and gave us advice where needed. We explained everything we wanted to her, and she brought it to life on our wedding day so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It is obvious that she loves what she does, which is what makes her so incredible at her job!! We absolutely loved working with her.
Sandra and Claudia, our day-of coordinator and personal attendant, were also absolutely incredible. When we asked, they delivered! They were there to meet our needs throughout our entire wedding day and made sure that we could be fully present (and we truly were!).
The restaurant and hotel staff were also incredibly attentive. It was easily one of the most hospitable hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel rooms were also renovated and very well maintained. Even the smaller rooms were more spacious than expected, and everything was incredibly clean.
The food at the venue is also INCREDIBLE. We had the filet mignon, salmon, and chicken piccata as our menu options, and truly couldn't decide which one was our favorite. The cocktail hour options were also amazing - everyone raved about the food! The waitstaff and bartenders were also very attentive during our reception - several family members specifically commented on the exceptional service!
Overall, The Breakers is an absolute hidden gem for those looking for an elegant wedding with ocean front views and old town charm. We wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend hosting your wedding here!

Such a nice venue!
The Breakers not only have such stunning views but they also have such wonderful staff! They were so lovely during our 3-day event there! We had the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and reception, and the post wedding breakfast. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Eileen and Michelle are great to work with. Staff was also amazing. Food was great. Would definitely recommend. We had the Seashell room for our small wedding that ended at 5:30 pm. The only issue we had was that they started dinner in that same room at 6 pm and we felt a little rushed out of the room. Other than that everything was great.

We had our wedding at the Breakers recently and had a great experience. Eileen was our coordinator and she was so honest and straightforward from the beginning. The maitre d Michelle was great the day of. Our food was great and our guests could not stop talking about it. We did the devotion package so had some extras like the raw bar and Viennese hour bur even the basics were excellent! The ceremony on the beach was so cool. We did it in belmar because they allow chairs on the beach but the gazebo across the street would also.work! My only advice would be keep your numbers down for both the porch cocktail hour and room. We had 160 with a photo booth and we fit nicely! Wouldn't go much over 170/175 if u want extra space!

We always loved the Breakers when attending other weddings, and now know why others chose it. They make the process simple and don't hide costs... everything is upfront and included. Our planner is one of the sweetest people, and was a calming presence. The Maitre'D Dona is the greatest. Her and her staff made sure the evening transitioned through each phase seamlessly with us not having to think about anything outside of ourselves, family, friends, and our wedding day.

A+ venue for a wedding big or small. Mine was 75 people. Although when you add room rates to the expense of your wedding it is a bit pricey but all in all what a spectacular day. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

Terri was a pleasure to work with as she was always available. The room was amazing, and the staff did a great job. I am very happy I decided to have my wedding reception @ The Breakers. I'm from the area, and the beach is my life, so to be able to celebrate across the street was breathtaking.

The Breakers on the Ocean was the perfect location for our wedding. During the planning process, Eileen was great at helping us pick stuff out and was always very kind. The day of the wedding was amazing. The staff went above and beyond, were extremely attentive, and tended to our needs immediately. Donna was with us the whole time and told us where to go and what to do and never left us hanging. She was always on top of everything and did an wonderful job! The food was fabulous as well! We hope one of our friends has their reception there so we can go back and experience it all again!

The Breakers in Spring Lake hosted our beautiful November wedding on Saturday the 2nd. We decided to have a small intimate affair however were still treated with the utmost professionalism. Larry Larusso went above and beyond our needs and made our special day all that we had hoped for. I would highly recommend celebrating any occasion at The Breakers...great food, nice people and an outstanding view!

I got married June 12 (Saturday night) and worked with Terri. We booked well over a year in advance and she was responsive and accomodating to all requests, thoughts, concerns. We had a signature drink and cigar bar which I was happy we were able to do. Donna was our maitre'd and she was personable and had the evening scheduled to the T. She did not skip a beat! It seems she really has a passion for what she is doing.
Guests were impressed with the view and the food, which I was happy to hear. Usually wedding food isn't known to be "that good" wherever you go. But we had the Filet, Flounder and Chicken Franchaise as dinner options and most guests got the Filet. My husband and I had all 3 and loved every piece! Although a taste test before choosing would have been nice had it been an option.
The only issue is that Breakers does not take credit cards for the weddings so be preparred to pay cash or check, which is why its a 3 for flexibility and not a 5. This is a bit of an inconvenience. In 2010, credit cards should always be an option. Im sure they just dont want to pay the CC fees.
The hotels in the area required 2 night minimums after memorial Day, so we booked rooms at Tinton falls Marriott and had a tour bus/shuttle to bring guests from the hotel and back. this worked out perfectly as guests could eat/drink and not worry about driving. My husband and I stayed at Breakers since we had a very early flight out in the morning after the wedding.
Overall, fantastic experience and I'm sure if you have your wedding here, you'll be just as happy! Good Luck!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and quality of service we encountered at The Breakers Hotel. Our wedding was held in the Seashell Room, which has a seating capacity of 50. Outside of location being one winning factor (across from the beach), the hotel is very well-maintained, the food and service spectacular! From Eileen, the wedding coordinator, to Michelle, the Mater Dei, we were very pleased with their professionalism and grace with which they ensured our wedding day went smoothly. We planned our wedding in 2 months secondary to my husband's hasty military deployment, and we were very appreciative the hotel owner provided us a small discount on the final bill.
My only complaint is that the hotel room prices are very expensive. We had both ceremony and reception at the hotel, and we live over an hour away from the venue, so we stayed overnight 2 nights.
