It was a magical wedding day for my daughter and new son-in-law at this gorgeous venue!
We were so pleased with every aspect of working with the Bowden staff. The moment we walked in for our first meeting with Shelley, we all knew this is where we wanted the wedding to be! The breathtaking chapel with it’s full wall of windows and dark wooden beams was ideal for the ceremony. Both the bridal suite and grooms room were spacious and well appointed with all we needed. There was beer for the men and mimosas for the ladies along with great snacks and lunch options. After the ceremony, being able to easily walk over to the large and equally beautiful reception hall was a huge plus. The day before, we’d received a call suggesting moving cocktails and appetizers from the lovely patio to the inside hallway due to high temperatures. There was ample room to do so and it was equally lovely. The reception was so elegant, and the dinner was excellent. We received lots of compliments on both the quality of food and quality of service! Johnny was a wonderfully attentive bartender. Then last, but certainly not least, Nancy, our bridal attendant for the day was simply amazing and solved any and every issue that popped up that day with skill, grace and ease! She’s even got a stain off the wedding gown that happened during the photos taken before the wedding ceremony!! She’s the best!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we toured the space, we knew it was special.
The venue itself is stunning, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, which meant very little additional décor was needed. Everything—from the ceremony area to the reception space—was immaculate and beautifully maintained.
The staff truly made the difference. They are professional, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and peace of mind, we highly recommend this place.

Sister getting married here and we are obsessed!

Great Venue
We haven’t had our wedding here yet, but I already can’t say enough good things about this venue! The second we walked into The Bowden we knew it was going to be our venue for our wedding! Stunning inside and out. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They pretty much perfected their process! As the groom, I've watched my fiancée take on so much, and I just have to say how grateful we are for The Bowden, especially Kelly. She's made the entire process so much easier, always quick to answer questions, super organized, and genuinely kind. I've seen how much stress she's taken off Karen's shoulders with answering every question, and that means a lot! Absolutely incredible!
The Bowden is a stunningly beautiful venue! The chapel and the ball room hold a large amount of people. Our wedding is roughly 310 guests. Phoebe and Kelly have been a dream to work with while planning my fiancé and I’s wedding. They are so quick to respond and are eager to help. I am so excited for our big day!

Daughter’s Wedding

The Bowden was my first wedding venue to tour and I immediately fell in love with it the minute I walked through the chapel doors. So much to the fact I toured one other place but nothing could compare. Truly felt like between the chapel and reception hall that it was going to give me the timeless and elegant vision I had for my December wedding. Working with the staff (Phoebe Williams) specifically has been such a joy. She has been so helpful to work with my budget and help me make decisions accordingly to bring my vision to full. Our experience was amazing at The Bowden!
My daughter got married here in December. Wow! Everything was impeccable! The staff went over and above. The day was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law. The Chapel at sunset hit her veil and it just sparkled. With the windows in the chapel it felt like you were outside. The reception was so spacious, fun and beautiful. The elegant chandeliers in the ballroom and the beautiful fountain in the back transport you to another place. The food was out of this world. Our guests said it was the best wedding food they had eaten. I can't say enough amazing things from sales, detailing, venue coordinators and service staff. The Bowden is a gem in such a convenient location

The Bowden is in a league of its own. The natural lighting and sheer beauty of the venue provide a backdrop for a stunning, show-stopping wedding; a few fresh flowers is all you need. There is ample parking, the groom and bridal suites are well appointed, and the reception area faces a gorgeous scenic, outdoor setting. The menu selection is loaded with options and is beyond standard banquet fare. The event staff is approachable and on top of all correspondence; they operate seamlessly, are attentive to details, and are just good at what they do. The perfect venue!
I cannot explain how amazing The Bowden is!!! From the coordinators to the serving staff nothing could have been more perfect. Heather was amazing at helping coordinate many of the details along the planning process which transferred over to the bridal and vendor coordinators Jennifer and Cindy for the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding. All of these women were so responsive and helpful - they did anything they could to make the planning process easier on me. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and Cindy made everything flow seamlessly. Any issue that came up was taken care of before I was even aware. They were so professional and a joy to work with. A few of my friends were wedding planning at the same time and watching them coordinate all the things the Bowden has in house made my planning experience so much lower stress than theirs. I wouldn’t change anything. Book the Bowden you won’t regret it!

Dream wedding come true!
Such a dreamy venue, my husband and I were so happy we chose to get married at the bowden! They had the most picturesque locations onsite, especially the STUNNING chapel and the grand ballroom, and the pond in the back. We loved the classic, simple look of the entire place, as did our guests.
We worked with Heather during the planning process and she was so thorough and flexible in scheduling times to meet with us, and very quick to respond and accommodating with changes. Jennifer took over towards the end and did an amazing job. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day. Our guests all raved about the Bowden and especially how delicious the food was, thanks to Chef Erwin!
Overall, we loved our entire experience at the Bowden and would definitely recommend! Every time we look back at our pictures, we’re happy we booked the Bowden.

You MUST Book at The Bowden!
Wow. My husband and I got married earlier this year and it has almost taken this long to find the words to share our gratitude for Heather, Frances, Denielle, and team. From our first tour to our big day (with many COVID-related/winter snowstorm challenges along the way), they went out of their way to make every aspect of our day perfect. We were originally scheduled to get married the weekend of the severe winter snowstorm in Texas, and we are still overwhelmed with the kindness, flexibility, and professionalism of our vendors.

Not only was it exactly the classic and timeless feel we were going for with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and chandeliers, but their communication and responsiveness was great. My wedding was perfect! We had a great experience working with the Bowden! When I got sick with cancer and COVID hit, they rescheduled our wedding for the following year without hesitation. Everyone commented on the beautiful venue and yummy food. Working with Heather, Frances, and Jennifer was a blast. I definitely recommend doing a same-day rehearsal if you have a bridal attendant. Wonderful Wedding Venue!
We had an amazing wedding at The Bowden last week! We planned our Texas wedding while living in Indiana and everything went perfectly. Everyone at The Bowden was so easy to work with, we would absolutely recommend this venue!

Beautiful venue!
The Bowden exceeded my expectations and was an incredible and beautiful venue to host my wedding. Everyone was so easy to work with, from Shelly, to Heather and to Jennifer, they eased the stress of planning a wedding and were super helpful. The food was delicious and the caterers and staff were very professional. I highly recommend the Bowden!

Perfect for our Daughters wedding
We had our daughters wedding here on September 4th of 2020. Even though we were in the middle of COVID-19 issues, The Bowden came through with professionalism and the perfect atmosphere. I was not only the Father of the Bride but was the Minister that performed the wedding. The Bowden made everything go very smoothly, not only for the ceremony in the chapel but the reception was done with perfection as well. I am so grateful that did everything here. We had 300 RSVP's and even though not everyone showed, the Bowden was ready to take care of everyone, from the food, to desserts, and everything else. Thank you and we could not have planned a more perfect day for our daughter, family and friends.

The Best!!!
We LOVED the Bowden! Had our wedding here and it is such a beautiful venue! Denielle Godwin was absolutely incredible to work with. She jumped through hoops to ensure that it was such a special day for us! She was amazing! Chef Erwin’s food was beyond delicious, and he was so good at advising what would go well together! He was so great to work with! We worked with Jennifer for a bit as our day-of coordinator and she was great! David took over after her and he was awesome! Loved my big day at The Bowden!

The Bowden
I knew the Bowden was my dream wedding venue as soon as I stepped foot into it! I fell in love with it from first glance and the team was very quick to respond and tell me all about the venue, it’s deals and etc. I cannot wait to have my wedding there and winning this reward would simply just mean the world and top it all off! I went into wedding planning having no clue what I’m doing but so far it’s been a amazing rollercoaster

Loved the bowden!
I booked The Bowden nearly a year and a half before my wedding after they had only been open for a few months. From the get go, I was so impressed by the attention to every detail and overall beauty of the venue! The team that assisted me in planning shifted some over the course of my engagement, but everyone was equally as helpful and professional and was always informed of my wedding details. The catering is phenomenal and my guests raved about the food, service, and overall beauty of the venue. Definitely a great choice that I will never ever regret!

Exactly what we were looking for!!!
My husband and I had our wedding in Sept 2018. The Bowden was perfect for us! We loved having the chapel and ballroom within walking distance of each other. This helped our day run smoothly. We also can’t say enough about the Bowden staff. Cristina helped us from the very beginning stages of our wedding planning. She was very responsive by email and by phone. Closer to the wedding date, Heather and Carleigh helped us get the final details together. We had the venue the entire day of our wedding, and Carleigh helped us from the morning to afternoon. She was there every step of the way. If we had any small request she took care of it. Heather helped us from afternoon till the end of the wedding. The wedding party and guests have since complimented on how the wedding was organized and ran so smoothly. I can’t thank the Bowden staff enough. If you are looking in a wedding venue, the Bowden is a magical venue. You will not go wrong!

We are SO happy we chose to do our wedding at the Bowden! The staff is easy to work with, and the venue speaks for itself! It has a gorgeous chapel right next to the beautiful ballroom with chandeliers coming from the high ceilings, a beautiful lobby big enough to do a cocktail hour, and a back patio for the same purpose! It was also not too much more to have the venue for the whole day, so we chose to do that. We had an absolutely grand time and were so happy with the Bowden!

The Bowden Wedding Venue
This is one of the few places that were able to accommodate our size of a wedding. We have 350 count and this chapel can fit up to 320 count and offer an overflow room and their ballroom can fit up to 500-600. Their staff has been very responsive and communicative with addressing all of our needs and has made this season manageable. We will definitely recommend this venue for anyone wanting to have a great Texas wedding.
