Five stars!

It was such a pleasure to work with Elizabeth! She was very responsive and professional from the beginning and throughout the entire planning process and wedding day! I didn't realize until after booking my wedding that I was getting married on Mother's Day weekend. I met with several florists, many of which were very rude/negative about the fact that I had picked that weekend and basically told me that I'd have to pay a fortune or wouldn't even take a wedding that weekend. Elizabeth, however, was very positive and encouraging throughout the entire process. The flowers were GORGEOUS and very reasonably priced. We had several meetings to design the centerpieces and bouquet and the final results looked just like she promised. I really cannot say enough great things about Elizabeth and Botanical Emporium and recommend her highly!

Elizabeth is the best

As soon as I talked to Elizabeth on the phone, I knew that I could trust her opinion and judgment. I also trusted her to stay within my budget (she actually came in under budget - who does that?) but create beautiful arrangements, and she delivered. You should have no hesitations about working with her. Her taste is amazing, her flowers are beautiful and her prices unbeatable.

Elizabeth was wonderful to work with, she is an extremely creative person. My sister - in - law had recommended her to me, so I was already familiar with her work. We wanted a specific type of flower, and she went straight to the growers and got it for us. The flowers were beautiful, even if I could do it over I would not have changed anything about them. Can not say enough good things!

We met Elizabeth at a Bridal Show before we had even selected a date or a venue. She was really helpful and instead of talking flowers she gave us the inside scoop on all of her favorite venues. Once we picked a date and a venue I knew we had to go talk to Elizabeth about flowers! She spent over an hour with me and wanted to see pictures of my gown, the bridesmaids’ dresses, and even our mothers’ dresses so she could make sure the flowers matched with every little detail of the wedding! Elizabeth is very different and not your normal florist, but that was what I loved about her! She had amazing ideas and LOVED the fact that I wanted something different. I wanted fall flowers, our colors were orange and navy. I love Gerber Daises and she found the perfect one for my wedding! Two months out from the wedding my mom and I met with her again for what she calls “Build a bouquet”. We spent over an hour with Elizabeth picking out flowers we liked and putting them together to design the perfect bouquets for my bridesmaids and I! Elizabeth pulled out the Gerber Daises but added orange roses and blue orchids to make them beautiful and elegant! The week of the wedding my husband and I went to see one of the centerpieces that Elizabeth was going to make for the wedding. I loved that I knew exactly how everything was going to look before hand so that there was no stress the day of! On the day of the wedding the flowers showed up right on time and looked AMAZING!! Everyone complemented our flowers because they were so unique and beautiful! Elizabeth was so much fun to work with and made everything so stress free!!

Can't say enough great things about Elizabeth. Love, love,love her. She did all the flowers for my daughters wedding. They were over the top gorgeous!!!! So many compliments and the pictures are so beautiful. Would never go anywhere else. If you want the special attention to details. You want Elizabeth!!!!!!!!

I hadn't imagined working with a florist on the flowers would be so much fun. Elizabeth had such great ideas and the flowers were stunning. Since our venue was a ballroom built in 1894, she worked with me to develop an idea that would look amazing and fit with the historic feel of the venue and the vintage feel of the rest of the wedding.

Everything was so wonderful and I put my bouquet in a vase at home so I could enjoy it for days after the ceremony and reception were finished. The florists at Botanical Emporium used esperance roses, orchids and so many lovel greens that provided texture and personality to our bouquets - exactly what I had wnated. They were simply magnificent, and I know it was the best choice for the big day.

Elizabeth really takes the time to get to know what you want in your flowers. Being able to build the bouquet was so helpful because I knew we were both on the same page! I also got to see what my centerpieces looked like before the big day and they were amazing! highly recommend for any big events.

GORGEOUS FLOWERS! I don't even know how else to describe them! I could not have been happier with our centerpieces and my bouquets... I had so many compliments! I was a bit worried not knowing what to expect and trying to keep in budget, but boy, did Elizabeth do a great job! She has a huge personality and is passionate about her work! The flowers were one of my favorite accents!

Elizabeth was a wonderful professional to work with and is extremely dedicated to her work. She provided wonderful insight and ideas not only for our flowers but also for other details for our wedding day that we did not even think of.
All of our flower arrangements were exactly what we wanted and were absolutely stunning.
We got many compliments from guests at our wedding and we continue to get compliments from people who see the flowers in our pictures.

For creative options - go here! I loved my flowers. I had a basic idea of what I wanted and Botanical Emporium thought about it, came up with cool ideas and ran with them. They spend time with you to discuss what flowers will be in season for your wedding and what your budget will be. The can accommodate everything- or atleast everything l asked for.
They made huge feather filled vases for the church which matched the vintage style of my dress. My bouquet was daisys, peonies, and white, silver tipped feathers with greens mixed throughout. My bridesmaids had pink peonie bouquets with gold and silver bling laced in. Everything turned out perfect. Highly recommended.

I LOVE Elizabeth!!!! She is just so sweet and really cares about what she does. I have never seen someone so easy going and laid back, someone who truly loves their job and serving brides. The flowers at my wedding were absolutely gorgeous and everything I dreamed of and more. I couldn't believe the vision we imagined and how well she put that to life. If you are looking for someone who will give you feed back, add her artistic style but keep your dream alive pick Botanical Emporium. They work so hard and will make sure you are happy!

Elizabeth was such a pleasure to work with! She really helped me pick the perfect flowers for my wedding, leading me into the right direction. Botanical Emporium transformed our wedding venue Bella Sera into the most beautiful room! I have worked with Elizabeth the owner many times on a professional level and she has always done an excellent beautiful unique look. She outdid herself for my daughters wedding, It was spectacular! Elizabeth is quite a character, but great at what she does! She is very opinionated and can come across kinda pushy, so I was a little worried that she wasn't really hearing what I wanted. But don't let that scare you, she was listening and my flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous and were exactly what I wanted!! Also, make sure you have plenty of time when you schedule an appointment with Elizabeth because she loves to talk!

Hands down Elizabeth the owner and Proprietor of The Botanical Emporium was at the top of favorite vendors for my husband and I. We selected the Doubletree by Hilton – Greentree location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for our Reception venue. As part of our package with the Doubletree the floral centerpieces were included and we were provided a preferred vendor of the Doubletree that we were to communicate with for our centerpieces. From the very first moment my husband and I met Elizabeth we fell in love with her enthusiasm and talent! We also decided to go with the Botanical Emporium for the rest of our flowers for our Wedding Day and could not have been happier as a result! We met with Elizabeth several times during our planning process and every time we did we had such a good time and lost all track of time! She is such an amazing person and Proprietor and she is blessed with such an unbelievable talent and passion for what she does and it is evident from her final products! When I first saw my bridesmaids bouquets, my breathe was taken away at how beautifully they turned out, which was way beyond what I could ever imagine! She definitely has a customer for life in us! Both my husband and I STRONGLY recommend The Botanical Emporium for everyday occurrences and especially for Weddings!

Elizabeth did such an amazing job with building.centerpieces and bouquets around my specific style. There is not a thing I would've done differently and I am so thankful to have had such an attentive, creative florist! I would highly recommend her.

Elizabeth was awesome and my flowers were gorgeous!!! I met with her twice before my wedding and talked to her several times before the big day. During our first meeting, she went above and beyond! I had one of my bridesmaids bring their dress to the meeting. Elizabeth loved the dresses and even suggested to add a rhinestone belt to them, which everyone loved! We took the dress outside in the parking lot for better lighting, wrapped the rhinestone belt around the dress and Elizabeth even covered the bridesmaid's shoes in white tissue paper to get the whole look!! She was able to order the rhinestone belt from her vendor and had it for me during our second meeting.

She brought out every hot pink flower they had for our second meeting and listened to my likes and dislikes and created beautiful bouquets!!! She lent me her church bows at no extra charge and her staff had them tied on to the pews hours before our wedding. The flowers were all delivered to the church hours before the ceremony, which was so nice that I didn't have to worry about them! We ordered bouquets for all the bridesmaids, boutonnieres for all the groomsmen and ushers, flowers for the mothers, fathers, grandparents, ring bearer, petals for the flower girls, flowers for the blessed mother AND flowers for the anniversary dance and they were all amazing!! She also did all the centerpieces at my reception. My husband (wow, that's weird to say) made fun of me for ordering so many flowers, but I am so glad I did!!! She called me the week of my wedding and sung me wagner's bridal chorus (dum dum da dum) which cheered me up from an otherwise stressful day at work during my wedding week. My mother in law loved her too and we both plan on recommending botanical emporium and Elizabeth to anyone looking for flowers!!!

They did a wonderful job on our flowers for our wedding at the Embassy suites on June 22nd. Everyone raved how wonderful the room looked and I couldn't of been happier. The feathers were a great touch, and my bouquet looked great in pictures along with the bridesmaids bouquets. Everything tied together perfectly. Elizabeth the owner worked with me every step of the way and had great ideas. I had interviewed with other florist and botanical emporium had the best options for centerpieces as part of my hotel package versus the other vendors. I was surprise that they were included as they were beautiful and elegant. They were very reasonable for wedding party flowers too. Elizabeth works with your budget to get you what you envision. Glad I picked Botanical Emporium as they delivered. Great job everyone! I give them 5/5 on everything..for some reason the rating scale not working

Hubby and I looked forward to each meeting with Elizabeth. She has out of the box ideas, we trusted her and went with them... We weren't sorry! Everyone raved about how breath taking ALL of the flowers were. She did a wonderful job! I now travel 45 minutes when we need flowers because I know she'll come up with something great! The Botanical Emporium on Banksville Road did absolutely beautiful flowers for our daughters wedding! We worked with Diane and she was pleasant,professional, knowledgeable and helped us create the most elegant wedding flowers for our day. Elizabeth was also on board, helping us even the day before the wedding! When they delivered the flowers to the church there was a rather large funeral, so our flowers went to the rectory. Elizabeth called me and very calmly explained where the flowers were, that they were in air conditioning, not to worry and could be picked up there. She also wished us well. When we retrieved them, everything was marked perfectly for each attendant, mother, etc. We would use them again for any occasion, but were very pleased with everything for the wedding, price, quality, beauty and ease of doing business. Thank you BE Team for making the flowers as beautiful as the bride!

For my wedding, all I wanted was hot pink roses. Our colors were hot pink and black, so there was no question for the flowers. When I got my hot pink roses, I almost cried! They were the most beautiful pink I have ever seen in my entire life. I didn't realize how pink roses could be. They matched everything perfectly! Elizabeth at the Botanical Emporium was amazing. She is extremely creative, and she saw my vision exactly how I wanted it. The floral centerpieces were beautiful, the bridal party and parent flowers were amazing. If you're looking for creativity, please go see Elizabeth and her staff at the Botanical Emporium!!

Elizabeth may not be for everyone, but she definitely went above and beyond on my wedding day! I know she may rub some people the wrong way, but in my opinion she is passionate about what she does and knows her stuff!! Elizabeth was part of our Holiday Inn reception package, and although the centerpieces came with the price of the reception, we decided to go with her for the rest of our flower needs. Elizabeth met with us several times to decide on what was needed and envisioned for my wedding day. She was very detailed oriented and knowledgeable about flowers and weddings. She used pictures of my wedding dress to create a stunning bouquet to go with my wedding dress! I don't know of many florists that pay this much attention to detail especially since I had checked out another florist beforehand. On my wedding day, Elizabeth did not miss a beat! Everything she said she would do and create was there. She also made gorgeous centerpieces that my guests were so impressed by that they wanted to take them home with them that night (check out her lighted crystal tree centerpieces). Looking back on some of my wedding pictures, I am still amazed at how beautiful and breathtaking all of my wedding flowers were!! I highly recommend The Botanical Emporium for all of your wedding flower needs! Elizabeth is truly wonderful and an expert at what she does!!

Elizabeth did my flowers for my bridal shower and for my wedding ceremony and reception. She was willing to do whatever she could to work in the budget range that I had in mind. Elizabeth did an awesome job on my wedding flowers. I couldn't be more pleased and it was one of the biggest suprises of my day. From my bouquet, to the arrrangements in the church, to the awesome flowers at the reception. Everyone complimented on how classy it was and how beautiful everything looked. I obtained several bids on flowers and she was in the middle of the pack on price, but what stood out was her obvious creativitty and knowledge of the business, and that she was more than willing to show samples of her flowers and her work. I was so pleasantly suprised on my wedding day!

I LOVED MY FLOWERS!!! When I started planning my wedding I thought the flowers were something I did not care about and it didn't matter what they looked like. Elizabeth changed my mind and my flowers are now one of my favorite parts of my wedding day. Elizabeth saw my vision within minutes of meeting her and made sure every flower and color matched my dress... my bridesmaid's dresses and the groomsmen's vests. They were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and wish I could've taken my bouquet with me on the plane back to Colorado. I never wanted to let it go. Thanks Elizabeth!

Elizabeth and all the staff were AMAZING!!!! Everyone was raving about the flowers and asking where they came from! Elizabeth went above and beyond to attend to our every need! She even adjusted our plan two weeks before the wedding because we had an unexpected family crisis and needed to decrease our budget. She was soo accomadating and understanding. Her energy and creativity is incredible!!! She got me soooo excited about flowers!!! She even dealt with the country club when they changed coordinators 10 days before my wedding! This was not her responsibility but she went above all expectations to ensure we had an amazing event!!! She was a breath of fresh air after interviewing numerous floral shops in the area! I was totally blown away by the flowers!!! Everyone commented on them and was soooo impressed!!!! Look no further Botanical Emporium is the way to go!!!! Her flamboyant personality is the reason that the flowers are soooo amazing!!! She is soooo creative and AMAZING!!!!

My flowers blew me away. Elizabeth is incredible! She buys everything direct so you save $$$! But she makes it look like you spend 3 x's the price. Everyone is still talking about my boquet! I think it weighed 10 pounds! It pops in every picture!

When I saw my flowers for the first time, right before I was going to walk down the aisle, I cried! They were absolutely beautiful! Elizabeth from The botanical emporium met with me numerous times to plan everything and she is so fun and knows so much about planning a wedding. She even met me all the way out in Greensburg to see my dress in person. Her creativity is truly a gift. I got tons of compliments on the flowers! I highly recommend her!

WOW! Our flowers were eyecatching! They matched an picked up pieces of both the girls dresses and my own. Our boquets are still being talked about. I would highly recommend working with Elizabeth. She has an amazing talent! Trust her! She will not guide you wrong!

Elizabeth has a quirky personality but she is absolutely amazing at what she does! She created all of our wedding flowers including bouquets, altar arrangements, and centerpieces. They are came out so beautifully! The quality of the flowers and her expertise are worth the price you pay, which is extremely reasonable. She listened to every idea that we had and took them all into consideration to create our perfect flowers.

The staff at Botanical Emporium was great to work with and gave us beautiful centerpieces and our bouquet. They were very creative with what we wanted and it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for.

I cannot say anything but incredible things about the flowers that The Botanical Emporium did for my wedding. My bouquet was especially gorgeous as the bride! She definitely exceeded my expectations, and the value for what I received was fantastic. She can be a bit opinionated and may even seem pushy at times, but she is excellent at her job. I would recommend her for sure!

Elizabeth is so much fun to work with and did an amazing job on our flowers. She has some really wonderful ideas and really helped us to create the perfect atmosphere. Not only is she knowledgeable about flowers, but also the wedding industry as a whole and she gave us some great tips that we then communicated to our other vendors. We loved working with Elizabeth! She was a little eccentric, but we had a blast picking out flowers and designing bouquets with her. Elizabeth was able to provide such unique items to really make the bouquets pop. As much as I loved the one I carried down the aisle, I loved the ones my girls carried even more. Her pricing for all flowers, lanterns, candles, decor, delivery, etc. was unbelievably inexpensive. I read a number of reviews and was expecting my flower bill to be well over $2-3k...instead it was under $1500! We had so much fun with her, it almost makes me want to get married again just so I can work with her!

Elizabeth's florist shop was included in our package through the Holiday Inn, and we are very glad she was. Our first florist option included very meager and poor-quality centerpieces, but in comparison, Elizabeth's arrangements were heavenly.

We had my mother and brother meet with Elizabeth in our place, since we were going to be out of town until the week before the wedding. They were very nice and courteous, and despite a scheduling conflict, Elizabeth was able to make the meeting and put together, in 5 minutes and on-the-fly, exactly what my wife was imagining. It was a beautiful arrangement of roses and candles using candelabras, and it was just perfect. Elizabeth is a true artist, being able to arrange something unique like that in such a short time. We also got an amazing value out of the package, especially compared to the other florist's offerings. Elizabeth is great, highly recommended!

Elizabeth did a great job on our wedding. We came in with a budget and she stuck to it for the most part. We added some items on at the end, which understandably brought us over. Everyone thought the flowers were beautiful. I would definitely recommend her to any bride.

We received our centerpieces through our package with our reception hall. Our first meeting was a bit overwhelming, but when we saw Elizabeth's final product at the reception, we were really pleased. We receieved compliments all night on how beautiful everything looked. She really got above and beyond to coordinate your entire vision.

Elizabeth has a very flamboyant personality that may rub some people the wrong way, but she is very friendly and very talkative! It was a pleasure to work with her for our reception centerpieces.

The only reason I'm not giving her a 5/5 starts for quality of service is because I asked for NO greenery in our centerpieces and there was a LOT of greenery. They were still absolutely beautiful, and one of my guests emailed me this week and said it was still fresh and though they had to replace the flowers, they were still enjoying the centerpieces!

I would happily recommend Elizabeth to other brides. :-)

She went out of her way to incorporate pieces I had already purchased into our centerpieces and they were gorgeous and fit the theme of our wedding very nicely. She was also kind enough to lend us stands for our table numbers at no charge.

Although Elizabeth does have a very strong personality she is great at what she does! She put together amazing center pieces and stayed with in my budget. She suggested things I would have never thought of myself. My meeting with her was a bit different than meetings with other florist. I did not get an official bid with a final price but I assured you she stayed in w/in the dollar amount I told her I expected to pay.

Her prices are half of what other people were trying to charge me. Our parents got a ton of phone calls after the wedding with people talking about how great the flowers were. She has great vision and you just have to trust she knows what she is doing. Although I had a few moment of hesitation, mostly because she is so outspoken, the final product was amazing.

The flowers for our cermony and reception were beautiful. Elizabeth was very friendly, but at times seemed pushy. I was very disappointed that the day of the wedding she changed our centerpieces that we both agreed on. The ones she used were not as pretty as what we met several times to discuss. I even confirmed with her the day before the wedding exactly what I wanted. For that reason, I would only give her a so so rating. Everything was beautiful, but it was not all what I wanted. When it came time for the bill, she also raised the price $200 from what we agreed on. I found this suspicious considering the new centerpieces she used without my permission had less flowers than what she quoted me on.

We chose the Botanical Emporium for our wedding day flowers based on photos we had seen from other weddings where they had provided the floral arrangements. Overall I would say our flowers were a great value and we were generally happy with the results.

Pros:
- I thought we got a great deal for our money - very good value.
- The Botanical Emporium plans to have several consultations with you, including a meeting to put together samples (I did not find this service at other Florists and found it very helpful).
- Our centerpieces were amazing and very unique - I was able to take a look at them a few days before the wedding and I was pleased with the outcome.
- The bridal party flowers were great (my mother-in-law cried when she got her wrist corsage with a beautiful beaded band).
- The flowers were delivered on time, both to our room where we were getting ready and to the reception venue.

Cons:
- Elizabeth, the proprietor and wedding consultant, is a big personality to deal with. During our 3 different meetings, I felt we spent more time talking about topics other than the wedding and it's hard to get a word in or get the conversation back on track once she goes off topic.
- The entire place does seem a bit disorganized - I had to remind Elizabeth what we discussed in our previous meetings and we did not have a final cost until days before the wedding. Happily the cost was under budget, but it would be nice to have a better estimate further in advance.
- I was disappointed with my bridal bouquet - not because it was not beautiful, but because it was not the style I requested. I had brought photos of what I wanted during my first consultation and it was my mistake that I did not bring those photos again, nor did I insist on seeing a sample of my bridal bouquet (the flowers for it were not available the day we put together samples). What I got was a standard, round traditional bouquet that was not what I had envisioned.

TBE has both pro's and con's
I didn't not enjoy meeting with Elizabeth. She was rude and pushy. She may blend well with some personalities, but not mine. She made some inappropriate comments and was extremely overwhelming! I called so many times so get the entire payment made before the wedding so it was out of the way and I could never get someone to charge my account. It wasn't until after the wedding that they finally charged my account with no notification.

The pro's is her work. She did a wonderful job!! I almost cried when I saw my bouquet! Everything was so beautiful. She decorated lovely! Her rentals also looked awesome!

If you can handle a big personality, then it is worth it!

Cons: Elizabeth didn't fully listen to our choices. She was a chatterbox, absent-minded and pushy. She never gave a quote even when asked numerous times. She called two days before the wedding with the total, but didn't want payment at that time. Then called the morning of the wedding while I was getting in my gown, and asked for payment. Shockingly went right to my maximum budgeted amount, even though we discussed (more than once) keeping it as low as possible. We never got an itemized bill or receipt. Totally agree with all of the lowest rated reviews.

Pros: I was happy with the flowers, even though they weren't originally my flowers of choice (because of her pushiness I agreed to them). I liked that we met a few times to go over ideas, build sample bouquets, and see sample centerpieces.

Overall this was a very poor experience, and I will never give return business to TBE. Here are some highlights:
During first consultation, there was no opportunity to learn about the flowers and prices. The groom was asked to leave before the financial portion was discussed. Book-keeping is terrible, and no sense of organization.
I had to call and ask for the estimate, and I was given no information as to how they arrived at that price. My fiancé had to call and ask for an itemized bill that they were unwilling to give.
It took many calls and emails to receive a photo of the centerpiece sample.
In my first attempt to pay the balance, I was turned away because the "wedding person" was busy, and nobody else could take my payment. The second time we went to pay, after speaking on the phone and confirming we would be taken care of, my fiancé and I waited for 30 minutes in the shop before being assisted, because of the many employees, only 1 could accept balance payments. Our paperwork was crumpled in an unordered pile of papers, and the proprietor could not determine how our remaining balance came to be (it was 1/2 of what we owed after our $100 deposit).
The only positive thing I can say is that the ceremony flowers looked nice the day of the wedding. I was a little disappointed with the centerpieces.

working with elizabeth was stressful and fruitless. after meeting with her three times, she still did not have a bid for us nor did she understand what we wanted. she was pushy and rude and ultimately unreliable since she canceled our appt due to "an emergency at another wedding" and then didn't call us back for a week. in the meantime, we found another florist!

elizabeth does have great ideas and can be a true inspiration in terms of what you do with the flowers, but she doesn't write anything down and you never know if she's really following you or not! i emailed her pictures of what we were looking for and discussed the flowers at length, yet it was like starting a new conversation every time we met with her.

she is also condescending with her staff, which is never a good thing.

would definitely shop around before settling on this hit or miss florist!

I recently used this vendor for my wedding and was very displeased with the service. When my husband and I first met with Elizabeth to go over the details of our needs she was unprepared and disorganized. This was after two 30 minute phone conversations discussing precisely what I wanted for my wedding. During our visit, Elizabeth made inappropriate comments about my husband's "metro-sexuality" and then said "I have nothing against the gays; I've worked with them before". She also used the f word during our visit. She was unable to provide us with a proposal for her services after over an hour of her exhaustive chatting (most of which was inappropriate and had nothing to do with the floral arrangements).
Since Elizabeth was so unprepared during the first visit, we had to schedule a second visit. Again, she was unprepared for us and had to throw a few samples together after we arrived. Elizabeth was still unable to provide a proposal at the second visit, although she did refrain from making inappropriate comments the second time around.
The week before our wedding, my husband and I began paying vendors, we realized that Elizabeth had never invoiced us, or spoke with us about our total costs. We called to arrange payment but Elizabeth said she had nothing ready and it would take several days for her to determine the cost. A few days later, my husband and I stopped by the Botanical Emporium to make payment, Elizabeth would not take payment because she didn't have the costs prepared and still needed to order our flowers; she claimed that it was due to the "stupid flowers" I requested.
Overall, this vendor made wedding planning stressful. When compared to the other entire professional, organized and friendly vendors we used, Botanical Emporium hit way below the mark for service, professionalism and quality. I would never recommend this vendor to anyone.
