Lovely & Elegant

The Blooming Branch did a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding! Maribel has all the experience and passion for creating beautiful flower arrangements. My wife and I met with Maribel and discussed our must-have flowers and color accents. She made note of it and created stunning arrangements that really popped out at our wedding. The guests complimented us on our centerpieces and more importantly to me, my wife’s bouquet. Maribel’s magic made our flowers bloom their best on our wedding day. We could tell because our guests were fighting over who gets to take the centerpieces home. Our flowers turned out more beautiful than what we could’ve dreamt of! Thank you Maribel! -

Maribel did such a great job for my daughter’s wedding at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach. The flowers captured the flavor our the wedding, and filled the garden iron arch and reception room. Not only were all the bridesmaids and bridal bouquets absolutely beautiful and substantial, my mother of the bride arrangement, as well as the mother of the groom’s arrangement was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thank you oh so much to Maribel and her staff for capturing all the florals most perfectly. We were all very happy with the work/ flowers!!! Mother of the Bride at the Canobbio/ O’Reilly wedding. -

Maribel is personable, experienced, and patient—I didn’t know much about flowers and she patiently explained everything concisely. When I came to Blooming Branch, I had little experience in floral design and was unsure of how to verbalize what I wanted. Maribel was extremely supportive and helped me express what I wanted by showing me photos and samples of work she had done in the past. After I met with her and throughout the planning process, she was organized and made sure to check in with me, both by email and phone. On the day of the wedding, I was delighted to see what what we had discussed come to life in the beautiful centerpieces. They were absolutely stunning and many of our guests expressed how much they loved the arrangements. Maribel is passionate about what she does and she has many years of experience under her belt. She understands that every bride has a different vision. Maribel made me feel at ease and I never felt judged despite how little I knew about flowers. I’m grateful that I was able to work with her and would work with her again! Thank you Maribel! -

Maribel is the sweetest lady! She is obviously passionate about her job. She worked with us on our budget to create the floral arrangements we envisioned, and accommodated us when we had to tweak the numbers on the centerpieces and boutonnieres. The centerpieces and the bouquets were stunning! I’ll gladly recommend Maribel to anyone who needs a florist for their weddings.

Maribel told a beautiful story in flowers for my wedding. She carefully listened to the style I wanted, while also providing helpful information because I am no flower expert. I sent her pictures of bouquets and centerpieces I liked, and she recreated them with even more beauty. She was very receptive to our budget, and made sure to pick flowers that were beautifully but within my price point. Maribel clearly loves her profession, and is excellent at it. She is prompt to respond to emails and easy to communicate with. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my wedding flowers. -

I was sent to The Blooming Branch through my wedding venue, SeaCliff Country Club. I don't know much about flowers, but I knew I wanted deep purple, and some roses thrown in there. We met with Maribel about 6 months in advance to discuss this, and then again about 2 weeks before the wedding. I really did not know what to expect when I walked into my venue because I really left it up to Maribel to put something together. She did our ceremony floral and all the centerpieces and I was so pleased. Everything was absolutely gorgeous. They were exactly what I imagined and I received so many compliments. She is also the kindest lady and really willing to work with your budget. -

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Maribel created the most beautiful flowers for our wedding in September! When we first met with her we showed her pictures of what we liked; the look and feel we wanted, and she immediately knew the direction we were hoping to achieve. She showed us pictures of previous weddings she had done, and it was like something I saw in all the Bridal magazines. I knew at the moment, I had to have her for our wedding.
I received so many compliments on my bouquet. “The prettiest bouquet they had ever seen!” And our reception, it was breathtaking. When we walked in for the first time it was magical! Everything we ever wanted and more. The flower arrangements, sweetheart table, cake table, everything was done perfectly. Maribel and her team went above and beyond. She is so easy to work with, very responsive and very professional. She is the only florist we will use for any events in the future.

Maribel and Blooming Branch did my flowers for my wedding! I can't even put into words how beautiful they were. Not only did she understand my vision but she went above any beyond what I had anticipated. She nailed the colors I wanted. On top of that she had a good eye for how to make the room more romantic by adding petals and candles all over. And then she put flowers on my cake. My cake looked so pretty I nearly didn't want to cut it. It was a work of art!
I would recommend her to anyone for any event but if you are looking for wedding events she is a must!! -

Maribel did an amazing job! She really worked with my budget & I was amazed at how beautiful everything turned out! It was way more beautiful than what I had expected when I walked out into my reception. My bouquet was gorgeous, along with the bridesmaids. I got so many compliments. The ceremony, I am waiting to see pictures because I was so nervous I only really looked at my husband! Lol! But I'm sure it was gorgeous as well! That's what you need a photographer for ;) Our cake table I was absolutely in love with! She totally captured the look I was going for! Everything was absolutely perfect. Couldn't be happier. -

We met Maribel at a wedding fair and was automatically impressed with her displays. They were so beautiful and elegant. We ended up contacting her once we found our venue, and she was so accommodating to what our wants were to fit into our budget. All I have to say is that she made our wedding so classy and amazing. Everyone was blown away with how all the décor looked. She isn't a florist just trying to get you for every dollar, but goes out of her way to go above and beyond to give you your vision regardless of the budget. -

STUNNING, BREATHTAKING, GORGEOUS! These are the first words that come to mind when describing Maribel’s creations. Her professionalism and sweet nature was an absolute pleasure to work with. I loved that she was with me every step of the way - it helps immensely when the person you meet with from day 1 is the person who creates your flowers. She TRULY listened to my vision and never once did she try to change my mind. Instead, she offered ideas to enhance the overall look and at the same time offered helpful cost saving suggestions to keep within my budget. Our guests were amazed by all the flowers at the ceremony, reception and lounge area. She even put beautiful fragrant flowers in the bathroom! The vases, crystals and candles made everything look elegant and rich. It is now over a month later, and we are still receiving compliments from friends and family on how beautiful the flowers were. Several guests said that it was the nicest wedding they’ve ever been to and I know that’s in part due to the floral fantasy land she created. The arch had not one but 3 chandeliers dripping with flowers. She even surprised me with sparkling jewels added to my bouquet. There’s a reason she has nothing but 5 stars on yelp. As a bride you want your day to go perfectly… just as you planned it. But, I can sincerely say that by having Maribel as my florist she made it more than perfect, she made it extraordinary! -

I can tell that Maribel loves what she does and puts quality and her customers first. Maribel put together beautiful flowers for my wedding! Even though I didn't have a lot of "vision" for what my flowers should look like, Maribel was able to help me look through flower books and pick the best flowers. She made sure to drop off all the flowers early. Everything was ready and beautiful when I arrived at the wedding venue. The flowers held up nicely all night long too! I can’t say enough about Maribel and The Blooming Branch. Maribel is so friendly and was excited to be a part of our day. We didn’t have a clear vision of what we wanted for our wedding day. Maribel was amazing. I didn't have a very good idea about what I wanted for the wedding, so we sat down together and went through a bunch of books and pictures. She listened to me say general things about what I liked and didn't like, and based on that she created some of the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets I'd ever seen. She executed everything 100% perfectly. In addition, she is a sweet person, and was truly a pleasure to work with. I recommend her without reservations. -

I was so fortunate to work with Maribel for my wedding flowers and décor. She is extremely responsive, professional, but more importantly she is very creative. At first I wasn't really sure how I wanted my flowers and décor to look like, so it took me multiple sessions with Maribel to really decide what I wanted, she was very patient with me. I am a picky person and I plan my events at work so I had already decided on my color palette and many other items, but the décor and flowers for me was difficult. Maribel has worked with many brides that she knows certain details won't be finalized until closer to the wedding. Although I was stressed, she was calm and that was a huge help. Maribel took the ideas I had for my wedding and made them EVEN MORE beautiful. My décor and flowers looked so much better than what I could have imagined, and I am hard to impress ;) I had several guests who have been to a lot of nice weddings tell me that my flowers were by far the best they've ever seen. Maribel is very detail oriented, and your guests will take notice and appreciate the décor like my guests did. -

Wow, The Blooming Branch! Let me just start off by saying, Maribel had me in awe from the start! I was first referred to her by our coordinator, and wasn't sure what I had to look forward to. Once I started working with her and e-mailing back and forth, I knew I couldn't wait to work with her! I sent her photos of my vision at the beginning of our road together, and had several questions and changes along the way, and she was great with adjusting the changes and answering any questions that I might have had. The price wasn't bad, but at first I was a little hesitant. When I met her on our wedding day and saw all of the beautiful flowers, I knew we got so much better than what we had paid. This was top of the line. Seriously. I bawled when I saw the flowers. She took all of the pictures, all very different, and crafted something beautiful, just from talking to me and having a clear understanding. My bouquet...I couldn't have dreamed that it would be so beautiful, and the corsages, boutonnieres, centerpieces, chair clusters, everything, they were wonderful. Well worth what we paid. I was always able to get in contact with her when I had a question of any sort. She was one of my favorites, if not my favorite, vendor. Also, very sweet! -

I saw Maribel's work through a friend's wedding pictures and I liked her work so I thought I should meet with her during my quote process.
I'm so glad I did because once I got a chance to talk to her, I was sold. At our initial meeting, she was very open, listened to all my wedding ideas, and I never felt rushed or pressured to go with her.
I knew from talking with her that she actually cared about all my details because she wanted all her brides to be happy. Flowers is not only her business, but also her passion. Once I booked her, I met with her several times afterwards because I had so many questions plus I was still indecisive with a couple ideas so I kept making changes.
She was more than happy to meet with me. We met a couple times afterwards and each time it was from an hour to a couple hours. Not only because I was the typical nervous bride, but because we got to know each other on a personal level and got caught up in talking about everything. Maribel is one of the most down to earth, honest, and sweet person I've meet in awhile.
I also like to note that you not only pay for flowers, you get a gorgeous tablescape with your flowers. She will use her inventory of candles, vases, tealights, etc to set the mood for your flowers while other florist make you rent them and charges you an arm and a leg.
Fast forward to my wedding day...when I saw everything we discussed come to life, I was so over joyed. My personal belief is that flowers set an atmosphere for a wedding, and what she was able to pull off was more than I could have asked for, Not only is her work amazing, she is also very reasonable in pricing.

The Blooming Branch and Maribel was a DREAM florist and decor consultant. Maribel listened to every detail of my vision and it was magnificent. She also stayed within my budgetary needs and created a grand and magical wedding day for me. My bouquet and wedding party flowers were exquisite. My reception centerpieces and decor phenomenal! I used Maribel as my wedding florist in July. She is a flower genius! I knew she had the vision but when I saw the end result it was just breathtaking! Also, I love her personality, she is so sweet and easy to work with. I was kind of all over the place with what I wanted since I didn't know how to explain it and I kept getting worried I was only confusing things. BUT, it didn't matter because totally she got it. She made me the beautiful outdoor wedding ever, it was everything I dreamed it could be. Love her! -

My fiancé and I had a strict budget and The Blooming Branch was able to work within our budget! Our wedding flowers and centerpieces were spectacular and by no means were you able to tell we were on a "budget". Maribel was awesome and was easy to come in contact with. I let my wedding planner Brenda from Moments of Magic pick my florist. I had a certain budget that I had to adhere to and my planner knew exactly what I wanted. Boy was I in shock when I arrived at my wedding ceremony........ It was the first time I saw my bouquets and decoration for the ceremony and It was beautiful! My bouquet was to die for and they had my rosary pinned into the flowers. The decorations was just breathtaking and you can tell a lot of time and care went into dressing the ceremony. I was extremely happy and even though I didn't get to personally have a one on one consultation, they knew exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for making my wedding so beautiful. -

Mirabel is the best of the best. She has a true passion for flowers and it shows in her work. All of my guests were blown away with how beautiful the flowers were. Even weeks later people are still talking about the flowers. From the bouquets to the alter pieces to the many table arrangements she didn't miss a beat. The Blooming Branch is simply the best. We interviewed other florists but Mirabel's passion for her work and attention to detail quickly set her apart. -

Finding Maribel was a blessing in disguise. Not only is she a wonderful person to work with she is extremely creative, talented, has an eye for detail and is very knowledgeable. She made the experience for me one that I will not forget. Maribel will work with you on whatever you may be dreaming about, she wants to make your day special! She was always available to talk to via email or phone. Maribel was absolutely wonderful. During the planning process, she was easy to reach and meet with and was a wonderful listener of what I wanted for our flowers and decor. I thought we had a particularly difficult color palette mixing both plum and olive green, but Maribel did a fantastic job tying everything together with her floral designs. In addition, she stuck to my budget. We received so many compliments on our flowers, and I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet. Maribel was the floral designer for my wedding. Finding a florist that would work with a budget and who shared my vision proved to be a challenge but not for Maribel, she understood exactly what I was trying to achieve; a contemporary yet vintage winter wedding utilizing minimal flowers and incorporating non floral elements. Blooming Branch did an amazing job on our wedding day. They decorated both the ceremony and reception area. Maribel (owner) met with my husband and I months prior to get a vision of what we wanted. She immediately began drawing a picture of what they could do. Not only did she describe it well enough for us to imagine but also hand drew and showed us pictures of prior events her company worked on. I was awe struck on how beautiful and natural everything looked. Family and friends keep talking about how simple yet classy the decor was. We received pictures last night and I have to say we are very happy to have had Blooming Branch as our florist. Maribel has a passion for what she does and it is clearly evident in her work. Since she is the only one that seems to do all the contacting, it was difficult to get a hold of her at times and would take her a few days to get back to me, but she had so much patience with my organized/planner personality that I have and everything got done on time. -

The work I had done seemed rushed and just put together without any thought. I had specifically gave pictures and details of what i wanted and something else was done. The price was a little steep for the work that was actually done. My bouquet was beautiful but not was i asked for "myself". -
