  The best photographer for your engagement and wedding!

  Working with Lindsey for our engagement and wedding was so much fun, and she did such an incredible job - from making us feel comfortable in front of the camera to fast gallery turn around times and helpful planning tools for the wedding day itself - she captures all the beautiful moments of your day with so much talent. She is kind, quick to respond, helps keep you on schedule, listens to what you want and does her best to capture all of it, creative, arrives early, and is just such a pleasure to work with all around. 10000/10 would recommend hiring her for your wedding or any photography you need!

  The best!

  Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding day, The Billings were by far my favorite! Lindsey is simply the best! We first met her at our engagement shoot and I instantly fell in love with her approach to picture-taking. She guided us through posing without making it feel awkward and without making it feel like we were actually posing for pictures. On our wedding day, she was quick to wrangle my very large family for a group photo, and was organized in getting the pictures I had requested with friends, etc. But best of all, Lindsey is SO FUN! You will spend a lot of your wedding day with your photographer so best to hire someone as fun and personable as Lindsey. We are IN LOVE with every photo she captured of our day. She took the usual posed pictures, but, best of all, she took candid photos and photos which really captured the most special moments we will remember forever.

  No better photography team around!

  If you're looking for a wedding photographer in Southeast Michigan, look no further. Lindsey and Brandon are as good as it gets. We haven't even seen all our photos from the event (just a sneak peak), and we feel fully prepared to leave a 5 star review. We'd give them even more stars if we could. Here's why:
  
  1) Throughout the (very long, COVID-complicated) planning process, Lindsey checked in regularly, shifting to accommodate a postponement and a major downsizing of guests.
  2) During the event, Lindsey and Brandon fit in perfectly. We had so much fun with them, they felt like party guests. They kept the energy light and stress-free, plus they read and matched our goofiness, and you can see it in our photos.
  3) In particular, Lindsey did a great job of directing my sister, whose disabilities make her a little tricky to photograph. No problem for Lindsey.
  4) The photos are simply amazing. They perfectly capture our celebration. We can't believe we get to keep them forever.

  Absolutely awesome

  Lindsey photographed our wedding this summer (along with Kirby) and she was absolutely fantastic from day one when we signed on thru to the very end of the wedding night reception. We truly cannot say thank you enough for the absolutely gorgeous engagement photos that have been used over and over again. The wedding photos themselves are better than we ever hoped, and I truly (as sad as it is) love going thru them and reliving each and every special moment! Lindsey always put us at ease, and managed to capture even the most candid moments in a way that is truly special. Thanks to Lindsey we will always have proof of how magical that day was! Thank you!

  Absolutely Wonderful!

  Lindsey is the best. I don't think I could've done it without her. The pictures were absolutely stunning Lindsey and Jeanne did a wonderful job from organizing, taking candid, intimate, and beautiful photos to helping this bride to stay sane! Our wedding was March 14th 2020, right before the state pretty much shut down from covid. Lindsey and Jeanne hung in there with us every step of the way, I can't express how grateful and happy am I with everything they did!

  Lindsey is the best. I don't think I could've done it without her.   The Billings are the BEST!

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Lindsey is an incredibly talented photographer AND the coolest. She captured our day so perfectly, when we look at our photos it still feels like yesterday. Her style and eye for getting just the right shot is impeccable -- can't recommend The Billings enough! Thank you, Lindsey!!! You're the best!

  Hiring The Billings as our wedding photographer was THE BEST choice we could have made. Lindsey was a joy to work with - she was fun, well organized, timely, and professional. She captured all of our requested shots and was a really fun part of our day. We received 60+ pictures as a sneak peek only days after the wedding and the rest came within the stated timeline. WE LOVE THEM! Highly recommended!!

  My husband and I loved working with Lindsey Billings for our engagement photos and wedding photos! She is seriously amazing. We were so nervous and goofy going into the engagement photos, and she immediately put us at ease. She is so great at getting natural and beautiful shots. I haven't seen many of my wedding photos just yet, but what I have I love. She and my husband connected about where to have our first look the day of our wedding, and he said he could feel her excitement and energy for shooting that day. It made us even more excited.

  Lindsey and Brandon are incredible, seriously. My husband and I are fellow nerds, and we've said countless times: we could not have found a more perfect photographer for us.
  
  Neither of us are great in front of a camera, but during our engagement shoot (in BOSTON - they're willing to work with you and travel, which meant so much to us!), we felt totally comfortable and had a ton of fun. At our wedding, they captured everything so well without feeling like they were there or in the way, and we've received tons of compliments on the photos.
  
  We had a minor unexpected event come up, and they were incredibly professional about it - contacting us immediately, telling us exactly what the plan was to make sure it didn't affect our wedding, and on our wedding day, it turned out perfectly. At no point did we ever get less than 110% from these guys. It was the least stressful, most boring hiccup in the history of wedding planning, in the best possible way.
  
  For photo quality - I'm a designer. My job is literally to sort through photos and find the best possible stuff out of any given stack. I am (unapologetically) incredibly picky about photography. For two years, I did almost nothing but pick wedding photos, and trust me, I have seen it ALL - the good, the bad, the cringeworthy. Lindsey and Brandon are both incredibly talented and have a true knack for composition, natural lighting, and capturing honest emotion. Even in posed family photos, you can literally feel the joy. We're going to treasure these forever, and I would not hesitate to say these guys are the best in Michigan, and for their niche, among the best I've seen across the country. I know a good photographer when I see one. Not only are these guys good - with their awesome personality and willingness to work out travel, they're GREAT.
  
  If you are looking for journalistic style, naturally lit (no flash), genuine photography, these are your photographers, period. Very happy!

  Brandon and Lindsey are very easy to work with. We did our engagment photos, boudior pics, and photobooth through them. Our engagment pictures are absolutly gorgeous and we get compliments on them all the time. Linsdey made me very comfortable during my B Shoot and the pictures turned out better than I ever thought they could. DH LOVED them!!!!!! The photobooth was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! It was a HUGE hit and people were in it all night! It was different than your average photobooth, they actually took the pics so people could stay in as long as they wanted and lots of people could get in. The pictures are HILARIOUS and I can't stop looking at them!

  We've been using Lovella photography for about 2 1/2 years now. They photographed my wedding, did our engagement shoots (yes two!) and numerous session with our daughter.   Lindsey and Brandon were my photographers for my wedding and engagement pictures. In my opnion, their work speaks for itself. Their pictures are totally awesome. However, what you don't know until you meet them is what a great people they are to have around on your wedding day. I'm not one for getting pictures taken, but I was totally comfortable having her and Brandon around, as was my husband. I highly highly recommend Lindsey and Brandon to anyone who is looking for a photographer for their wedding and beyond. They are simply the best!
