The best!

Choosing the Big House Band for our wedding reception was one of the easiest decisions we made! We saw them perform a couple songs at a local bar and it was a done deal. Jimi and management were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the planning process.

On our wedding day, from start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. The live music was incredible, and they really brought the energy and vibe we were hoping for. A huge highlight was our first dance which we had asked the band to learn—everyone was so amazed by how perfect it sounded that they thought it was a pre-recorded track! The band’s talent and range is unmatched and they had our guests on their feet all night. We received so many compliments on the music (including a few requests for their contact info) and we’re so grateful for how they helped make our day unforgettable. Fantastic tunes, and true crowd pleasers!

We loved having the Big House Band as our wedding band! We hosted our celebration in our backyard on an 85-degree day in NJ, and despite the heat, the band brought the energy and kept our guests dancing all night long. We loved having two different singers and they did a beautiful rendition of "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" by Neutral Milk Hotel for our first dance song. It’s not your typical wedding song, but the band was so thoughtful in learning it for us, and the result was absolutely perfect. Everything—first dances, DJ intermission, and keeping the party going—was spot on.. Would highly recommend them for your event! Jimi was so great to work with and has been in the biz for ages, so he knows exactly what you need.

An absolute MUST HAVE at your wedding

If you want your guests on the dance floor all night long you have to hire The Big House Band. Jimi and his band were incredible to work with in preparation for my big day. They learned a few songs for my wedding that gave the day an extra special touch. They also accommodated having someone help with the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour.

Our reception was incredible from start to finish. From our entrance song, to our first dances, The Big House Band was amazing. We had so many people come up to us during and after the wedding saying how great the band was. Still even a month later people keep telling us how much fun they had with The Big House Band.

The band played a variety of songs that had the dance floor packed all night. Jimi adds some flare with his incredible saxophone skills that really elevate the experience. A great wedding should have three things; great food, great company, and a great band. The Big House Band made sure that I could check great band off my list.

If you are getting married you have to consider this band. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

The Best Band in the Land!

Coming from a musical family, it was so important to me that I had a live band for my wedding. In searching for bands, everyone started to sound the same and nobody stood out to me until I came across The Big House Band. From the first few videos I watched online, I knew that they were the band that I was looking for to keep the crowd dancing all night long! Before booking them, my husband and I saw them live and were immediately sold. Every member is so friendly and clearly loves what they are doing. They are also so extremely talented.

Jimi especially was such a pleasure to work with. We had a few calls with him and he was always so helpful and willing to do anything that we wanted. Coming from a Polish background, there are some traditions that we explained to him and he did a fantastic job introducing them.

The dance floor was packed the entire night! From 50s classics to Michael Jackson to Maroon 5 to P!nk, you get every possible genre with the band.

Thank you so much to The Big House Band for making our wedding day the best day ever!

The BRIGHTSIDE of our wedding

The Big House Band delivered wedding entertainment beyond our expectations. Jimi was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, sending us very organized and informative emails to assist with making a set list for our wedding. The music was absolutely perfect for our guests, covering all genres for all ages, even down to the music played during their set breaks. The band was professional, and an all around joy. We had requested two songs for our first dance to be a mash-up, which they cut seamlessly. They even learned Mr. Brightside at our request and performed it as their last song, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had!

Best Wedding Band Around

We had The Big House Band for our reception on September 5, 2021. The experience could not have been any better. Jimi is extremely easy to work with and so accommodating. Their sound is second to none. By far they are the best wedding band I’ve seen. They also know how to keep the dance floor packed. My wife and I have gotten complements on them from guests in their 20’s to guests in their 80’s. The song variety is amazing and their energy is unmatched. I cannot praise them enough. I strongly recommend them to anyone that wants a great band for their wedding. You will not be disappointed.

So happy we went with The Big House Band!!

Everyone was up and singing and dancing!! Jimmy worked with us in picking songs as we had specific songs we wanted to hear from dinner, to introductions, during the night and their break time!! Stop what you're doing and book them!

We could NOT have been happier with our decision to book the Big House Band for our 10/5/19 wedding! So many of our guests told us that it was the best band that they have ever seen at a wedding and that they had so much fun. Jimi and his team were able to read the crowd and determine which songs would be perfect for our group to create a truly magical evening. They totally nailed our first dance to 'You Are The Best Thing', the mother/son dance to 'Days Like This', and father/daughter to 'Goodnight, My Angel'. I have an uncle who is also in a band and they even allowed him to sing a song with them. I was so grateful for their flexibility on that! Lastly, they were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Super responsive to emails and happy to be flexible with any of our requests/questions. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing...just absolutely amazing!!!

What a talented group of people! We hired The Big House Band for our wedding. We went to see them ahead of the big day and were blown away. The day of the wedding and after we were constantly being asked where we found such an amazing band and that they “made” the night. All of our guests were up dancing and enjoying the performance. Amazing band!

The band truly made the entire reception. They had everyone (including the grandparents) dancing. They took our taste into consideration but were really good at making a playlist that got people up and dancing, which is really nice when so many other things are hands during wedding planning.
Jimi was a good communicator and made the process easy. The night of went off without a hitch.

Amazing!!!

Great band, better people!

Big House Band did the damn thing. The dress floor was crowded all night from the little kids all the way to the grandparents. They keep it lively and entertaining with a great set of songs and were definitely a blast

Awesome Group! Every Guest Loved Them

Jimi and The Big House Band played at our wedding in Aug 2018. They required little guidance as they have done manyyyy weddings. Jimi got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there. Seriously THE BEST!!!!

The Big House Band was such a blast at our wedding!!! I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful entertainment they provided to us and our guests! Jimi and his crew were so accommodating and friendly! Our wedding was at Omni Bedford Springs which was quite a drive for the band and we were SO thankful! My husband first reached out via email and was able to book with the manager. He was then given Jimi's email and phone number. Unfortunately email is not the best form of communication because the band is truly so busy - so we often called or texted Jimi which worked great for us! I first spoke to Jimi via a phone call about setting up a surprise for my husband the night of the wedding! He was super accommodating!!! He even ended up having a surprise set up with my husband where him and his groomsmen did a dance and accommodated their request as well! The band was able to learn the song we picked for our first dance and did a great job learning our music style in order for us and our guests to enjoy the night! The Big House Band was also able to provide a keyboardist for our ceremony and cocktail hour which was HUGE for us so we didn't have to work with another vendor. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jimi & the rest of the Big House band for making our night SO special! We cannot thank you enough!!

Jimi and the BHB literally made our day. It is no surprise that they have been playing together for over 20 years - they sounded absolutely fantastic and have such a huge catalogue of songs. Jimi and the Big House Band were AMAZING at our wedding in Stone Harbor. We were lucky enough to have them provide music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. After seeing them live in Philly, we knew we needed to have them as our wedding band. From the first time we spoke with Jimi, he made us feel at ease and worry free. We can’t say enough good things about the Big House Band! They took the time to get to know us, our styles, our preferred songs, and gave us the wedding we were hoping for. We had some pretty specific and non-traditional requests for the band, and they accommodated every one of them. It has been 5 months since our wedding and people are still telling us how much they loved the band. Jimi did a great job as emcee. Our family loves to dance and they kept everyone out on the dance floor the whole night. The band even went out of their way to learn an extra song to surprise the bride! There are not enough stars--and really not enough words--to capture how fantastic The Big House Band is.

My wife and I booked Big House sight unseen about 11 months from our date based only on their amazing reviews and on YouTube videos--hint book fast, their schedule fills up fast.

From the start, Jimi (band leader, voice of an angel) confirmed we made the right choice. Months after we booked, we saw the band at the Windrift--they were, as reviewed, amazing--and Jimi spent over an hour after the show to meet us, to get some insight on what we wanted at our wedding, and to get to know US as a couple.

From there, Jimi followed up regularly to check in and to ensure the band got everything right for our big day. And boy did they. They played our first dance live--Can't Take My Eyes Off You (another hint, have them play your first dance song, better than any recording), and kept our reception rocking all night with music that kept every guest happy and dancing. On our request, they even played Scenes From An Italian Restaurant (a song about divorce) because 1) it is a favorite of mine and 2) Jimi can PLAY the sax...not just play....really PLAY. And its not just Jimi, the whole band is incredibly talented. Like SERIOUSLY talented. Stephanie and DaNica can legitimately bring the house down, guitarist Jeff and bassist Tim can simply shred, Dave's keys wowed everyone from ceremony music to reception, and Bob kills the drums.

At the end of the night, the band closed the reception to bring us up on stage to sing Living on a Prayer. It was a very special moment for my wife and I to look out over our guests and see them singing along with us. Certainly something we will never forget and something we owe to the Band.

To this day, almost 4 months later, our guests still rave about Big House Band. We do too. We still see them every month, we stay the whole time, dance like its our wedding again, and their show never gets old.

Having these guys perform was incredible they really took the atmosphere to another level! They're truly amazing musicians and 6 months later people are still telling us how much fun they had. We truly cannot put into words how amazing our wedding day was and a lot of that had to do with our decision to hire The Big House Band as our wedding band! Their prices are very reasonable for how fantastic they are and the vocals are phenomenal. We wish we could hear Jimi sing our first dance song again as it was perfect! We went and listened to the band down the shore before booking and knew immediately they were the right choice for our wedding. The band provides such a great assortment of songs that got ALL of our wedding guests on the floor at some point during the night. We are still getting complements on how much fun our guests had at our wedding and they all attributed that to the amazing band! They did such a great job of reading the crowd throughout the night and even ended the night with inviting my husband and I on stage for the final song and our guests loved it! I would highly recommend the Big House Band if you want to be dancing the night away with all of your guests! The Big House Band was awesome! They were willing to travel to our wedding and provided piano for our cocktail hour and the full band for our reception. We highly recommend the Big House Band for your event. We had them for our wedding entertainment and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Every person attending was blown away by how good they were. The wedding staff even said they were the best band they had ever had at their venue. Jimi and the band even learned 3 songs that they did not already have in their expansive repertoire. The dance floor was jammed all night. They were very easy to work with and total professionals. They are very reasonably priced too. Thanks again to Jimi and the band for such a great time. Book them you will not regret it.

If you are reading this, book Big House ASAP!! We got married back in June, and it was a night I will never forget and so much of that is because of Jimi and the band!! They knew how to get the crowd out of their seats, and everyone commented on how they did not stop dancing until the end of the night. Jimi is so easy to work with, and made the music one of the least stressful parts of wedding planning. We loved the band so much we followed them to Avalon to hear them again for our 1 week anniversary! Thank you so much to the band for making our wedding so incredibly special. We are grateful and cannot wait to come see you play again!!

The murmur of guests attending the ceremony quickly hushed as a first keynote was struck. Guests smiled as they recognized a lilting rendition of Kansas' "Carry On My Wayward Son" as the men entered. Moments later they gasped as the keyboardist meticulously played the rhythmic sounds of Emeli Sande's "Next to Me" as the bride and her father walked down the aisle. At the reception, our loved ones gathered cheered, danced, and sang-along to beautiful musical renderings of songs ranging from Frank Sinatra to Bruno Mars and everything in-between. A wedding is an event that celebrates the deep and persistent joy that has brought a husband and wife together in love and matrimony. Jimi and The Big House Band ensure that everyone man, woman, and child in the room (or any other venue!) feels that sense of joy and celebration. Jimi read our crowd perfectly in order to select songs on the go and he and the rest of the band perfectly executed each and every one, often with pleasantly surprising personal twists. The instrumentation and vocals were incredible and our family and friends are still talking about and watching videos of the band over a week after our wedding! Besides that, they are just genuinely kind people. We had numerous conversations with Jimi before, during and after the wedding and were always left thinking "He is so nice"! I wish I could give the big house band more than 5 stars in every category!!!! Besides marrying my best friend, a band that got everyone on the dance floor was all i cared about and that is exactly what the big house band did. My uncle, a man who never leaves his table, was a dancing fool all night long! It is impossible for my family and friends to talk about our big day without mentioning how amazing the band was. Because of them, it will be a wedding my guests will never forget! They exceeded all my expectations!!!!! I want to relive my wedding day, have our anniversary party, throw someone else a birthday party...ANYTHING just so I can hire the big house band again :)

Thank you to the Big House Band. Every guest at our recent wedding commented on how awesome the band was. They played a great mix of music and all the musicians and singers could not have been better. Without a doubt one of the best bands around. If we were planning another wedding we would definately call in this band again.

Stop what you're doing and book The Big House Band for your wedding. NOW. SERIOUSLY. Not only is their pricing VERY reasonable, but they are just so freakin' talented--it's crazy!! Jimi is fantastic at getting guests to dance and made our July 4th weekend wedding a blast. The band did a cover of "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran and my guests went INSANE for it. I mean, this cover sounded as good--if not better--than the original. We didn't want their music to end! Also, myself and my family are generally quite sensitive to overly loud music, and the Big House Band was careful to strike the perfect balance. They really are true professionals. My sister can't wait to hire them for her own wedding!!

The Big House Band was phenomenal!! Our wedding was just completely amazing, thanks to The Big House Band. We booked them for our wedding after seeing them at a bridal show and hearing them play at various bars through the years. I honestly never thought I'd hire a band for my wedding, but I am soooooo glad we did! All of our guests have been telling me what an awesome time they had at the wedding and how much they loved the music! We have had many people ask if we can do it all over again even! 5 stars doesn’t even come close to the amount of stars I want to give The Big House Band. All night we had people running up to us asking where we found our band and commenting on how AMAZING they were. We’re big into music and one of the hardest things about a wedding is finding music that’s really appealing to ever generation. When we saw the expansive list of songs that Big House plays we were blow away and knew they were the band we needed. Their ability to read the crowd to see what songs/genres are the biggest hits are spot on. The vocals of all 3 lead singers are beyond compare. The overall musical execution was flawless. And to cap off the most amazing day of our lives, the bad surprised us and called my groom and I up on stage for the last song. We got married at World Café Live at The Queen (a small concert venue) so being up on stage with the band and looking out to see all 200 of our guests still there rocking out until the very end took our breath away! The band crushed it with Bon Jovi – Livin’ on a Prayer for the last song which was the perfect sing along for every generation…and we felt like rock stars! We cannot rave about this band enough – they gained 200 new fans at our wedding and we’re so excited to reminisce about our wedding when we watch them at local shows in the future. If you’re thinking about booking them for your wedding/event, stop thinking and book them now – you will not be disappoint. The Big House Band is guaranteed to make your event one your guests will NEVER forget!

What a great group of young performers! I was blown away with the range of music they played and how awesome they sounded! The production crew really seemed to do their homework in order to custom taylor their music and setup for the wedding I attended. Well organized and would highly recommend they certainly made the evening special for the bride and groom, no hiccups or pregnant pauses.

We had the pleasure of attending the wedding of a friend several years ago where the Big House Band was playing. We were so impressed that we began following them and kept their name in mind as we planned our wedding. BHB hosted a showcase event about 10 months before our wedding date where we, and other prospective wedding clients, were able to watch a mini-performance and interact with the band. Immediately we knew that BHB was the perfect fit for our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, we were in direct contact with the band leader Jimi and he was extremely responsive and helped us to outline the perfect musical lineup for our wedding. Jimi went above and beyond in making sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. He helped ensure everything was set up for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and we didn’t have to worry at all about the music in the days leading up to the wedding. During the reception, the band was open to suggestions and requests and kept all of our guests dancing for the entire 4 hour reception. With our input, the band played a perfect mix of typical wedding music and current hits as well as a number of mash-ups featuring songs from our high school and college days – truly something for everyone! They learned songs that we wanted for our father-daughter dances which was so special for us. We were even able to have a few of our more musical family members sing special songs with the band. In the end, the members of the band were extremely friendly and helpful before, during and after our wedding. So many of our guests commented and complimented the band and party atmosphere of our wedding that we would absolutely recommend the Big House Band to anyone planning a wedding! Mary Ann and I want to thank you and the rest of the BHB for a wonderful job at Kelsey & Scott’s wedding reception. You guys were great ! The band kept people on the dance floor for the entire reception (even during your break) and the BHB simply sounded awesome. The band definitely helped to make a special day and event loads of fun. Lots of compliments from all those in attendance ! I would highly recommend the BHB for any event……..all of you were very professional, both personally and most definitely musically. Great job on the father-daughter dance song, “My Little Girl”. Both Kelsey and I thoroughly enjoyed it and relished the time we were able to dance to it. Also, I must also say, you guys did an unbelievably good job on the Clarinet Polka (tough one to play with a sax, but it was very, very good). Solid and steady beat throughout the song, which was the way I grew up listening and performing to those songs. My mother-in-law, LOVED IT !!

Where to begin... The Big House Band played at our 4/2016 wedding and we honestly could not have been happier. People were on the dance floor before the first course was served all the way until the last minute of the reception. The band sent us a list of "please play" and "please do not play" songs about 2 weeks before the wedding so we could tailor our music selections and from there they read the crowd and kept the party going. We've had countless guests say it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I think a huge part of that is thanks to the party atmosphere The Big House Band created. They sounded phenominal and were incredibly professional from start to finish. They provide one musician for cocktail hour and the whole 7 piece band for the rest of the reception. They also bring a lighting guy who really made the stage pop and added another element to the party. We are so happy we found The Big House Band and would recommend them to anyone, hands down! We can never thank Jimi and the rest of the band enough for making our wedding a party we will never forget!!

Jimi and the big house band rocked our wedding! I cannot say enough about how flexible and kind and outgoing and awesome Jimi and the whole band was and is. Our wedding would have been amazing but the big house band took the wedding to a whole other level of awesomeness!!!! Jimi let my dad play the guitar and sing a Beatles song with the band to open the reception and it absolutely set the tone and made my dads entire year! The whole time it was like being at an awesome rock concert except it was my wedding haha! Words cannot express how thankful we are for the big house band and Jimi! We would recommend the band to anyone who wants amazing singing, amazing sound and people who go out of there way to make the entire experience a level above! Jimi and the Big House Band ROCKS!. They have an amazing repertoire and their covers are excellent. They are solid on instruments and vocals across the board. If they didn't have a gig scheduled for the next day we would have held them hostage for the entire night. I should mention that they worked really well with our wedding planner. They were gracious when it was time for toasts and speeches making it very easy and comfortable for each person to take center stage. Finally, although it was a challenge to find songs that weren't already on their playlists, when we submitted requests (following the timeline they require), they were able to learn and perform them for the wedding. Thanks to Jimi and the Big House Band for a wonderful evening.

This review is completely genuine and unsolicited. We love this band. Outstanding. I hired them back in 2009 for my older daughter's wedding in NJ and everyone loved them. A great time on the dance floor! So for the second daughter's wedding we thought of the Big House Band first and foremost. We weren't sure they would agree to travel to our little community but when they agreed we were thrilled.
Well, they set the tone for the reception: fun, energetic, nonstop dancing, outstanding. Everyone loved the band!!!!! I don't think anyone sat at the tables. Everyone was on the dance floor. Not your typical kind of "ok" sounding wedding band. This is good quality sound and music. The band/music is an important part of the good time at the reception and Big House Band does a fantastic job. If my next one ever makes the commitment to get married, we'll definitely be contacting this band for the third time.
Highly recommend them!!!!!!!!

I learned about The Big House Band from a friend of mine who had used them for their wedding and loved them. Reaching out to Jimi and the band was probably one of the smartest things I did for my wedding. Not only were they amazing to work with leading up to our big day, but they listened to our preferences and gave us insights to what has worked for them in the past. When it came to our wedding day the band was on-time, set up with ease and played their hearts out for the whole evening. Today, I still hear from our friends and family how much they loved our band, and have future couples who have already said there is no one else they could see playing at their wedding because they set the bar too high. Philly has an abundance of great wedding bands, but for us it was a no brainer to have The Big House Band be a focal point in our wedding. The leader singer, Jimi, who recently appeared on the Blind Auditions for the Voice is the best singer in Philly. Couple that with the killer saxophone that he plays, the band is able to offer an incredible variety of tunes, beats, jams and melody. At the end of the night, the entire place was displaying an exhausted laughter after hours upon hours of nonstop dancing.

My advice to future newlyweds: Of the many decisions you will have to make throughout the wedding planning process, the band CAN be one of the more time consuming and stressful. The Big House Band is the solution. They are professional, entertaining, and boast the best singer in the entire city of Philadelphia.

Today makes 1 month that my husband and I got married. We have revived so many wonderful feed back from our family and friends. We definitely raised the bar high with our wedding. The venue and band are incredible. Everyone needs live music. It makes the whole vibe come to life . Jimi's vocals are killer! Everyone danced and partied all night long. We booked the Big House Band for our wedding on April 5, 2014. We had heard them play at a friends wedding and then went to see them play at some bars throughout the city. They absolutely made our wedding! They were super easy to work with and even learned a special version of a song for our first dance. I have had so many people reach out to me over the last few days asking who our band was because they have never had so much fun at a wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night! The highlight of the night was when they let my husbands father sing with them. It was spur of the moment but they were able to quickly coordinate with him and helped make an extremely special moment for us. They listened to all our preferences and made the process so easy! I work in the hospitality industry and this is definitely a band I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, affordable, personal, and awesome wedding! My wife and I had Jimi and The Big House Band preform at our wedding and they were AWESOME!

From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew it was Jimi and the Big House Band that we wanted to have perform. We had been to weddings in the past where they performed and thought they were great! Jimi was a pleasure to work with from our very first meeting and treated us like his friends. He has one of the best voices out there and he made our first dance song perfect! Since the wedding we have already had multiple friends and family ask for their information. Our guests had a blast because of the Big House Band- they even had us up on stage for an encore at the end of the night. Thank you Jimi and The Big House Band!!! These guys were amazing! The wide selection of music will make everyone at your party happy. I told them i wanted a lively event and people to dance. in the end, My guests danced from cocktail hour untill the last song. The dance floor was never empty. We had our wedding on July 7, 2013 at Clark's Landing in Point Pleasant. The Big House Band was our entertainment for the night and they were nothing short of absolutely incredible - so much so that our family and friends are still raving about them. There were moments when we thought the original artist was performing - the music of the band combined with Jimi's and Ashley's voices were that spot-on. Giving them five stars doesn't do them justice; they deserve a SOLID TEN and we highly recommend them. They say that your wedding day can be a big blur and it's easy to forget a lot that goes on, but The Big House Band definitely made sure that the best night of our lives was the most unforgettable.

The Big House Band is an excellent band. They played a variety of musical styles, including piano music during cocktail hour, and sounded great whether it was jazz, swing, rock, or R&B. Jimi (the leader/vocalist/saxophonist) superbly handled the MC duties, and the entire group was highly professional. I received many compliments from guests for their performance; many singled out the group as a particular highlight of the event. Jimi and the Big House Band let it all out on the dance floor at my wedding. I have seen the band play numerous gigs at the jersey shore and knew I wanted them to play for my day. They are so fun and their music fits the crowd (young and old) of my wedding. I didn't even request many songs as I knew their choices would be the best. So many guests complimented their musical talent and entertainment. I am so thankful they were there to add their special touch to my amazing time. I can't wait to hear them again at the shore sometime and would recommend this band to any couple looking to spice up the music for their big day!!

This band was amazing. After we heard how amazing they were while they were playing at a bar in NJ, we knew we had to have them. We also heard them at a friend's wedding. They blew us away. Even with our black tie venue, they were elegant, classy and adjusted the sound/volume/balance for the acoustics. They are a must at any function-- they can cater to every song or event's style. We can't wait to use them again!!

My wife and I had the Big House Band play our wedding in Ocean City, NJ this past September and cannot say enough about them. Jimi was a pleasure to work with leading up to our big day and they all exceeded our expectations on the day itself. They were extremely flexible with us and even played a first dance song and father/daughter song that werent on their song list, but nailed both of them. I really cannot endorse Jimi and the Big House Band enough and just wish we lived closer and could see them play more often. Thanks again!

I booked the Big House Band for my wedding and they went above and beyond all expectations. They played every genre from golden oldies, to motown classics, up to and including modern pop (i.e. Rihanna, Lady Gaga).

Each of the songs sounded just like the original, none of that "artistic interpretation" that you see with a lot of cover bands. 100% of my guests said that this was the best wedding band they ever heard. I completely agree. And if the dance floor was any indicator - it was packed all night long.

The lead singer also did an excellent job MCing, as well as the back-up singer being great getting all of the wedding party ready right before the reception kicked off.

If you are looking for a professional sounding band that plays all of the popular songs, and plays them well - look no further. The Big House Band comes with my highest recommendation.

Thank you so much for the amazing job your band did at our wedding! We had the absolute best time and our guests are still raving about the music. The dance floor was packed all night - just how we hoped it would be. The selection of music was a perfect mix and you even got John's 94 year-old Great Aunt out on the dance floor!

We fell in love with The Big House Band during the summers in Stone Harbor, NJ and were thrilled they could help us celebrate our wedding in Baltimore!

The Big House Band absolutely made our wedding! They brought amazing energy throughout the entire evening. Their set list was spot on - crowd pleaser after crowd pleaser that kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. Jimi + team were also extremely flexible with a few special requests (both space constraints/logistics and unique song requests) and supported us during all aspects of the wedding (mics for ceremony, music for cocktail hour, dinner and reception). Would recommend them over and over again!

The Big House Band was amazing! I got so many compliments from so many wedding guests about how great they sounded! They made our day so much fun! We were going back and forth deciding between a DJ and the Big House Band at first and I am so glad we went with the band! They are worth every penny and more!

The Big House Band had played at a friend's wedding a few years ago so we knew how fantastic they were when we booked them. They are terrific performers who had the whole crowd dancing all night long. They were easy to work with and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone!

Best Choice for the Party of a Lifetime!

Jimi and The Big House Band were the best possible choice for our wedding! At our ceremony, the guitarist beautifully welcomed everyone into our ceremony space with acoustic instrumentals and, upon the wedding party's procession in, cued up the exact songs we wanted to walk into with perfect timing. We also loved the music that they played at our cocktail hour! The real winner of the night, however, was the killer set they played at our reception!! Jimi and the band had all of our guests dancing all night-so much so that we continue to receive feedback from our guests that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. Jimi worked with my husband and I to accommodate our unique timeline for the reception and helped to ensure that everything ran on schedule. We couldn't recommend Jimi and The Big House Band more!

Simply amazing!

We cannot express how truly amazing the big house band was! Each member of the band was so talented and unique that it complimented them as a whole. It was literally impossible to think about sitting while they played! The band was confident in their song choices based off the crowds reaction and they nailed it. Our guests still talk about how incredible the band was today!!

Fantastic!

There’s a reason they’re so highly rated. Great band, great voices, and very reasonably priced. Even when they took a break they had music playing that kept the party going. Went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable before and during our wedding. A few small issues included a little speaker/mic feedback in the beginning, had everyone come to the dance floor after one of the dances and then had everyone go back to their seats which was kinda awkward, and had to be reminded about one of the dances we wanted). Overall though, everything went great. I highly recommend.

Great band

The Big House Band was awesome! Everyone at my wedding raved about how great they were. They were so good that guests asked for one more song at the end of the wedding, and the band was kind enough to give us one more. They arrived on time, kept everyone dancing all night, and were full of charisma and talent. They also accommodated several of our last minute changes. The only complaint we had regarded the music that was played while the band was on break. The songs kept stopping suddenly about 30 seconds before they were finished. It would have been better if they let each song finish completely or if they had some sort of transition like a DJ would.

Jimi and The Big House band were absolutely amazing! From the Ceremony to the Reception they made our wedding some special. All of our guest loved them. Guests were up dancing from the moment we finished our first dance. There were even chants at the end of the evening for them to continue!

All in all, they are amazing preformers and will making your wedding an awesome party from start to finish!

I first heard and experienced the fun that is The Big House Band at my friends' wedding at Penn State in 2011. The bride and groom had gone to a different wedding on the Jersey Shore the previous year and loved them then -- and my husband and I felt the same way at their wedding! The BHB was the second vendor I booked after the venue and we couldn't have been happier

My venue required wireless microphones for the readers and my friend who was singing. Rich was so helpful in ensuring that we had what we needed on the day of, speaking with Dad and I several times. Jimi was amazing at keeping the secret that my good friend was singing a special dedication to my Grandmother. He did a quick sound check with her 30 minutes before the ceremony and my guests couldn't believe that they hadn't practiced previous to that day!

Our wedding song is pretty uncommon and Jimi, Jeff and the band learned it so quickly and sounded amazing. When our dinner service went 20 minutes over, Jimi and the band came up to my husband and I to say they were going to play through the entire rest of the night to make up for lost time. And they did! And they even let my ham of a friend grab the microphone and sing during one of the songs. Every guests raved about them and was on the dance floor all night.

I cannot give more praise to the BHB. They were awesome!

The Big House Band made our wedding! Although the week before the reception, they were not very responsive to phone calls, they came on time, played all of the songs we requested, and really got everyone to dance and have fun. The main singer, Jimi, is really great with running the party. They were very flexible too. We had a professional singer as a guest at our wedding and they allowed him to use their equipment to sing us a song. They were SUCH an amazing value! I really couldn't believe how affordable they were and they sounded like they cost 3 times the price. We had such a great experience with them. HIGHLY recommended!!

The Big House Band was amazing!! The had our guests dancing all night long! They were very accommodating to our requests and they knew every song that we asked them to play. They have great range too and played across all generations. The lead singer, Jimi, was our contact person and he was wonderful to work with. They were a little slow getting back to us with questions but that's because they are booked practically every night. They are a great value too - very affordable!

Wedding Day

The Big House Band did an excellent job with the music choices for my wedding. All of my guests had positive words to say about the band and how well they sounded. They were very easy to work with and made sure that my wishes we granted regarding specific songs that I asked to be played. Professionalism is on point. Fun times!

We and our guests had a fun time on the dance floor! Jimi’s voice and sax playing were our favorite! Wish we had a bit more of a say on the songs played during the bands break.
