Awesome Service!
Let me say my wedding was absolutely beautiful. I had the most amazing people working on my behalf. Tom was definitely one of them. I actually think he deserved a whole lot more than what I paid him. He worked mostly by himself except the 1st day he had a young helper but he was so so helpful. If I ever had the opportunity to work with another bride, The Big Day rentals would be my 1st choice for vendors. Thanks again Tom! -

Kaley is the absolute wedding coordinator! Must have for your big day! 10000% recommend!
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT KALEY!!!! Kaley went above and beyond in all aspects in being our “day of coordinator” but was available since the day we hired her for all questions, concerns, recommendations, advice, etc. She happens to live in the same city as me and even offered to transport some of our wedding things to/from home/the wedding in FL. Her energy is so positive and she has the most calm, cool, collected demeanor, even when some of the bridal party was panicking 😂😅 which kept me calm, cool, & collected-therefore able to stay in the moment and enjoy every single bit of our day! She paid attention to detail while not getting high strung (which could rub off on other people, as I’ve seen with other wedding planners in the past). She was available for a rehearsal and made it run so smoothly, definitely took charge and very skilled at directing but not in an uptight way, communication was always excellent, so responsive. She was so flexible when I realized we didn’t have anywhere to rehearse and we ended up rehearsing on the beach (wedding was at The Watervue at Brooks st). I became a little overwhelmed thinking about picking out decorations and just let her “surprise me” with the tables and decor with me just giving a general hint of an idea of what I was thinking (I didn’t give her much to go on lol) ..and she NAILED it!!! I couldn’t have made it look more beautiful if I had stewed over every detail and tried myself. HIRE HER! TRUST HER!! You will not regret it!! I had my DREAM WEDDING BECAUSE OF KALEY!!! From decor, vibe/positivity, directiveness, smoothness, communication, flexibility, & going above & beyond-she is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I am SO THANKFUL FOR HAVING HER FOR OUR BIG DAY!!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼-

Amazing experience!
We used The Big Day for both event rentals and day-of coordination and couldn't be happier with the results! Kaley was the MVP of our wedding day and kept everything running smoothly, even making sure my husband and I got a plate of appetizers and bottles of water in between socializing at the cocktail hour. She checked on us throughout the night, making sure we could fully enjoy ourselves. And how Kaley and her team set up our tent during a flash flood warning, I'll never know! Despite unforeseen bad weather in the morning, she totally brought my vision for our reception to life. I can't say enough good things about The Big Day! -

Beautiful And Easy To Work With!
Our rentals from The Big Day were GORGEOUS and an excellent bang for your buck. They were easy to work with, responsive, and all around nice people. We also used Lisa's coordination services, which I HIGHLY recommend. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was a pleasure to work with. -

Perfect experience!
I went into The Big Day Rentals with very little idea of what I was looking for. It seemed like a daunting task to pick out a million items and hope that they’d go well together. Everyone we worked with made the process seamless and every item we received was in good shape. When they noticed that the chairs we had picked out wouldn’t look very good with our linens, they reached out and offered to upgrade them for free. Drop off and pick up went without a hitch and I’m very happy with how the entire experience went! -

Ceremony Chair Rentals
Our ceremony was small so we didn’t require much, but we needed a reliable company to deliver and pick up chairs for our ceremony so we trusted Big Day Rentals, and it was a great decision! We had a last minute change of venue the night before our chairs were to be delivered. I was so worried they wouldn’t get my message about the last minute change, but sure enough, at 9 am the next morning they were there and ready to drop them off. On Monday, when it came time to pick them up, they came and got them before any of us had even noticed. It was so nice that we had one less thing to worry about! I would recommend their services to anyone! -

Amazing quality, staff, and experience with Kaley and Big Day Rentals
We hired The Big Day Rental for our wedding and had Kaley as our Wedding Planner. The service, experience, and staff were all exceptional! Kaley kept in contact with all of my vendors and created a rehearsal and day of schedule. She went above and beyond to help make sure everything went according to plan and even went out of her way to pick up last minute items for me the day of. She made sure everything and everyone was on time and set up exactly as planned. She also put our rain plan into action and converted everything inside in a matter of minutes due to last minute rain right before our ceremony! Our wedding would not have been executed as flawlessly as it was without Kaley, she made sure that everything was taken care of and set up just as I dreamed of even with a last-minute rain plan change. We couldn't have asked for anyone better than Kaley. She truly loves what she does and goes above and beyond to make sure her clients have the perfect day! -

We utilized The Big Day Rental for our daughter's wedding and Kaley Walls as our Rehearsal and Same Day Coordinator. The experience with both was exceptional. Merri Ward, the owner, came out to our event site and spent time understanding our vision and working on a layout for a beautiful and functional ceremony and reception. She was very flexible and worked with us on several iterations over many months of planning. And our vision came to life for a wonderful wedding celebration! We hired Kaley Walls as our Coordinator and she was amazing. She contacted vendors in advance, arranged the schedule for the day and basically took control for both the Rehearsal and the Wedding/Reception. She arrived early and was in full-blown cruise director mode immediately. She made sure everything and everyone was on time and set up exactly as planned. She handled even the smallest details so that we could really relax and enjoy our day. She stayed late into the evening to make sure that everything was cleaned up and left as it was before the event. She was exceptionally competent and a real pleasure to deal with throughout the planning process and the day. We couldn't have been more pleased with Kaley's services. -

The customer service was amazing. We were planning our wedding from California, for a ceremony and reception in Mexico Beach. This company was set up at the location for another person's wedding when we decided to hold our wedding there too. Big Day was recommended to us by the other couple, and Big Day was as professional for us, as we heard. Lisa at Big Day was very friendly and worked within our budget. I highly recommend this company. -

Let me start by saying that Lisa was AMAZING!!! Planning a destination wedding and working full time can be stressful. I was able to communicate with her via email all the time. One thing that made hire them is because their prices are very straight forward. I changed my order numerous time and she was able to keep track. All the items I rented were in excellent conditions. We got married 12/12/15 at a beach house in Destin FL. -

My wedding would NEVER of happened, let alone been the most beautiful party I could ever imagine without Kaley and her wonderful team! She was so professional and so amazing, I leave this wonderful time in my life with a new friend. I never had to worry about a thing with her. She had a huge selection of rental equipment and if she didn't have it she would find out where to get it or make it herself. Everything you could ever want at your wedding, is possible with Kaley. Hands down she is better than John Gandy in Tallahassee, we started working with him but never actually met him, we kept getting pushed to his assistant so we decided to try Kaley and WOW all of my local vendors said she is the best they have ever seen in the business. GET KALEY and you will never regret it!!!!!!!!!! -

WOW! What an amazing wedding! We had a gorgeous wedding in Destin FL on May 2. We worked with Kaley at the Big Day Event Rentals for close to a year. She was wonderful! She made great suggestions and very patiently dealt with my sometime erratic behavior. I asked a ton of questions and changed my mind A LOT and she worked with me every step of the way to help make everything beautiful. I could not have asked for a more perfect day! They showed up on time and did everything that they said they were going to do (there was a minor hiccup with a rental item that was forgotten...by the time I realized and reached out to Kaley she was already aware and the item was on it's way!!). Their items/rentals/ decor were beautiful and looked amazing in our beach setting! I can't think of one thing that I would change. I would DEFINITELY recommend The Big Day Event Rentals and Kaley to anyone planning a wedding in the Destin, FL area! Top notch items and service all the way!! -

I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Kayle and the staff at The Big Day. I think I changed my contract and plans a million times and every time I called or emailed it was never a problem. I didn't have a budget but I had a vision of what I wanted to have my wedding ceremony and reception to look like. On my wedding day I was in awe at how beautifully decorated and put together everything was. I told Kayle what I wanted and she went beyond what I could have ever imagined. I got up that morning and all I had to worry about was showing up. It was like a fairytale, but better. I will be eternally grateful. Thanks again for all you did to make my day special.

We could not have been more pleased with the service we received and how the staff of The Big Day Event Rentals delivered for our wedding day! Their rental prices were very reasonable compared to other vendors we researched, and everything we ordered was in great condition when it arrived.
In addition, being responsive and solution-oriented is right at the top of the list of what makes a great company, and that’s exactly what we got from The Big Day Event Rentals through the entire process.
On what was probably one of the busiest event days of the wedding season (the Saturday before Columbus Day), they came through and made sure that a small delivery error was corrected in time for our ceremony.
We are very thankful for their contribution to our special day.

Big Day was so so so helpful and flexible and patient with me, even as I was calling 2 days before my wedding to add/change rentals! They were so willing to work with me on everything, all while being super courteous and nice. There were some issues the day of (my driveway proved to be too small for their truck to make it up), but instead of being frustrated, they took it all in stride and we worked together to get everything up to the house. The quality of the rentals was of course wonderful - everything I could have hoped for! We had a backyard wedding and got wooden tables, chairs and a chandelier (among many other things) from them that totally made the image the right one. We got so many compliments from all the guests regarding the rentals - definitely made an impact! -

This is a great company to do business with!! Kaley and the staff were very helpful and accommodating from the beginning of the planning to the end. No matter how many times they were called or emailed with a question, they were very pleasant. It was a small sunrise wedding on a Sunday morning at a private beach home and they brought all the equipment the afternoon before and did some setting up. They returned at 4a as scheduled to finish setting up on the beach and deck as well as the decorations we provided. It looked great when they were done. They returned later that day to take everything down and had it looking the same as before they started. Fantastic job all the way around!! -

Big Day Rentals was recommended to me by our officiant. I had an idea of what I wanted and sent them a picture and they replicated the picture perfectly. Lisa was very easy to communicate with and work with. Through the process, we changed our ceremony time and location, added items but then needed to change amounts and Lisa was very flexible with the changes. We rented a bamboo arbor and white chairs for a beach wedding and everything was set up beautifully just the way I had envisioned. I had seen pictures of arbors with curtains flying in the wind and while weather can't be predicted, the way they set up the arbor and tucked the curtains into the sand was perfect! Thank You Big Day Rentals! -

We rented chairs and a bamboo arbor for our beach wedding and The Big Day Event Rentals did a wonderful job setting up. Everything was delivered and set up on time for our wedding and they came back to take things down after ceremony was over. They made everything easy and smooth! I recently rented some large wine barrels from The Big Day Event Rentals for my wedding. They were amazing!!! They went perfectly with my theme and were priced well. TBDER was a pleasure to work with. My mom and I visited their showroom about 15 min before closing one Saturday afternoon and they were happy to show us anything we wanted to see. Granted I had a pretty good idea in my head of what I wanted to look at but they didn't seem annoyed or pushy at all. The benches, arbor, table and shepherds hook were perfect for our beach ceremony and I would definitely recommend having them do all the set up and take-down. It was so low stress and I didn't even know until after the wedding that the drapes for the arbor had been taken to a different location because between TBDER and my wonderful coordinator they had it taken care of before I knew anything. -

Mike and Merri from The Big Day did an excellent job with our wedding!! They were very patient with the numerous changes we went back and forth with while deciding what we wanted. They are very knowledgeable with current wedding trends and eager to help whenever we felt at a loss. Their service was very professional throughout the whole process, and had everything done in a timly manner! They never made us feel stressed at any point about our rentals. We still hear from our guest telling us how it was the nicest wedding they have ever seen! I would easily use The Big Day again for any event and would highly recommend them!! -

They aren't many options in the area for renting wedding supplies, but with this place in business I see why - they would blow anyone else out of business! They supplied me with everything that I was looking for. We rented an arch, chairs, shepherds hooks, cake base & some other miscellaneous items. All of which they were available & they were very easy to work with! They came and setup the arch for us very early & also stayed on stand by in case we decided to move in doors due to the rain. They gave me nothing to worry about with getting the items back to them, they came and picked them up for us! Great service, very friendly!! -

The Big Day Rentals was great to work with. I thought there prices were reasonable and I got exactly what I ordered. We had a minor miscommunication in number of panels we ultimately decided upon for my arbor and Merri and Mike went out of their way the day of my wedding to make sure I had everything that we needed/wanted. I really appreciated the extra effort and it all turned out just beautiful. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone. Thank you Big Day Rentals!

We held our rehearsal dinner and day-after party at a Santa Rosa Beach rental house and needed extra chairs for guest seating. Even though I only rented 10 chairs (not a big profit for them), the staff treated my rental very professionally and courteously. We were able to rent the chairs from Wednesday to Monday for a very good price, and the chairs were in a good shape and looked great. -

We started working with The Big Day Event Rentals several months before a November wedding. Merri was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about what we needed. Over the course of planning the wedding I stopped by unannounced many times, was always greeted warmly and no matter what the question, I left satisfied and reassured. We rented tables, chairs, and linens and they had to be delivered to Ponce de Leon, one hour away. Everything arrived on schedule and in good condition. One thing I learned about planning a wedding; there is no dress rehearsal, so you have to be able to depend on the professionals. It is important to be able to trust your vendors. The Big Day Rentals came through as promised. No question, I would use them again. -

When working with vendors, go with your first instinct. If they make excuses and don't return phone calls, etc. move on or they may cause even more problems in the end. All vendors should go the extra mile, as The Big Event Rentals did, to make your wedding as special as it can be. -

Merri and the team at Big Day were so down to earth and pleasant to work with when I planned my wedding in Rosemary Beach last April. Their pricing was very competitive when it came to tables, chairs, linens and beach arbor and they were even able to provide us with things like a beach wheelchair for my grandfather. They came to the rescue on my wedding day providing high chairs for us at the last minute when some of our guests decided not to leave their kiddos with a sitter during the reception after all. They were very flexible when adjustments needed to be made to our orders and they had a working relationship with our florist and our catering company so everyone was able to work together to get me the best pricing possible. You could tell they had our best interests in mind and were truly a nice family-owned business where they took pride in the relationships they cultivated and their work. Best of all, they were a pleasure to speak with and very easy to work with throughout the planning process. I’d highly recommend them for your next event! -

The owners were very nice and personable. The chairs that we rented turned out to be the perfect colors for our wedding. They were delivered earlier than expected, so our florist had a lot of time to organize them for the ceremony. I'm only giving 4 stars for cost value because I was told we could rent so many chairs at one price per chair. There wasn't a contract, and we weren't told any additional taxes or other fees. So what was charged to my credit card turned out to be slightly more than expected. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation, but it would have been nice to have known this up front. -

rented chairs and arbor for our wedding.. ended up not being able to use the items due to the rain but still had to pay for it. we thought about cancelling the items and they were going to refund the rental fees but we decided to still get the items in the case it stopped raining.. which it didn't but we ended up having a beautiful indoors wedding :) -

Merri with Big Day was awesome to work with! She helped provide everything we needed at a fair price for both our ceremony and our reception! There was a mix-up with the delivery pick-up date, but it didn't end up being an issue with our vendor! I highly recommend Big Day for anyone getting married in Ft. Walton or Destin areas! -

Overall very pleased with their services! Every time I would email or call, I was treated with respect and received swift and honest responses. Their show room in FWB was very nice inside (wouldn't know it from the outside). I thought some of the items were a little unnecessarily pricey, but what isn't what you are planning a wedding I guess?! I wanted to change my order a few days before the wedding, but unfortunately they had already packed everything up. Which on the other hand, you can view as them being on top of it! SO that's that! :) -

Overall, Big Day rentals was a good vendor to work with. We ordered everything from them and we built our wedding from scratch at a rental home so we needed EVERYTHING! They were prompt in response time and professional but figuring out what I needed to order was quite laborious and I felt since they are the experts in weddings they could have helped more with this from making suggestions, asking questions, having pictures associated with their prices so you didn't have to hunt and peck through the pictures on their site and guess what was what. They gave general drop off and pick up times which was a little difficult with the busy schedule of the day but everything came as ordered and they even let us pick up the frozen drink machine early so the drinks could chill in advance. A few not so great things; the vintage doors are not finished the same on both sides and since both sides end up in your pictures it ended ruining quite a few of our photos. The crew came early to pick up the rental equipment and took down our bistro lights from their tents (since we didn't have time to take them down yet)- breaking a significant portion of the bulbs and leaving broken shards of glass in the sand and on the deck for the small children and guests in bare feet to dodge. Lastly, upon renting the tents at last minute- they didn't tell us that it would be ideal to rent fans to keep it cooler (and I was stretched so thin I just didn't think to ask!) It would have made the world of difference. Basically, everything went really well but I did feel like they are just so popular and busy our wedding was just another cog in the wheel of their business. Considering this bill was bigger than our caterer, I expected a little hand-holding or assistance. -

Horrible Vendor
Initially, my experience with Mr. Randy from Big Day Rentals was great until he charged me over $2,000 for decorations that I did not use on the day of my wedding. Back story this was a destination wedding for us and their policy is no changes within 30 days. So I was going to drive down 30 days to FL prior to my wedding to see if the platform we had wanted was going to work, but Mr. Randy said that he would make a special exception for me and allow me to come down 3 days prior to and let him know. When we saw each other on the Wednesday prior to the wedding I told him it wasn't going to work, which he agree with and I even brought down the total number of my chairs from 100 to 80 and was still charged for 100 chairs. I didn't even care because he was so helpful prior too. But when he charge me over $2,000 for a platform that wasn't used that's where I draw the line. I will never recommend this merchant for anyone to use. Poor business! -

I was not impressed with this company. I made a deposit and was told I had up until 30 days before the wedding to finalize my order. I was happy with this because I would have my RSVPs back by then since this was a destination wedding. But, 60 days before the wedding I was sent an email saying that I needed to finalize my order now because they had so many events booked for September. Even though I had no idea how many people would be coming, I just took a shot in the dark and finalized. Then on the day of my wedding the contract said they would be there in the AM. So at 11:30 am my father called to make sure that they were at least on the way since it was 45 minutes to drive. When he called, he was told they still had 2 hours to go and then had to go back and get my stuff. After a few words with him, they said they would unload the current place they were an go back to get my stuff and head over. They got there around 2pm. If my dad would not have called, they would have come at 4. Once the single man arrived I had to get my entire wedding party to help unload after they had taken showers. Of course when they came to pick up during the AM on Sunday it was early AM. The prices were good however, I just was not happy with service. -

The Big Day Rentals were great initially, when it came to helping us pick out our decorations, colors and helping to coordinate to other vendors to plan our day. They were prompt at dropping the equipment off at our location. However, when they came to pick up the equipment/decorations they couldn't have been more rude, demeaning and unprofessional. We were told if they had to come up any stairs to get any of the equipment, "it gets really expensive, if we have to start going up stairs". We of course didn't mind bringing everything down to them but there is certainly a way to ask for this. He threw the equipment back in their moving truck and threatened to add fees. If the big day rentals has let this employee go, we would think about using them again. He was a miserable individual and most certainly added undue stress to our vacation. -

The arbor I rented here was beautiful and made my wedding great, but I was from out of town and had communicated with the company through email and phone calls. When emailing I wasn't getting any responses so I called (knowing that they were probably busy) and the person I talked to told me a pick up time and at a later date I got an email talking about a pick up date but knowing my name was already in their system and I was already given a pick up time and date I disregarded the email (I thought they would probably communicate to each other what the plan was). Well when I came to pick up the arbor the guys that were there acted like they had no idea who I was, but we went inside and got it all squared away (He saw I was in the system and I paid my payment in cash and exact) and as I was waiting for them to bring me the material I heard his son in law talking about me 10ft away and I know he saw me! Now, I understand being frustrated with something but I work within a family business as well and I know that if I have a problem and need to vent I wait til the customer is gone and I am in the appropriate setting to vent. Although, I got the arbor and my day still went on I feel as if this man should take into account that I was a bride that could or could not have already been stressed out the day before her wedding and he hurt my feelings over something that could have waited til I left his place or business. He still got his money and had to do minimal work to help me. Really loved the arbor just wish the service would have had better communication within and professionalism. -

I'm quite honestly surprised by the previous good reviews with this company. I did exhaustive research before choosing a rental company and was extremely disappointed. For starters, this was the only wedding vendor I had to contact multiple times to get a response. After I paid my deposit, I had to email twice before receiving a response. Because scheduling is of importance for a wedding, I reached out a month out requesting info about a time window that we could expect the delivery. I was told I would not know until the week of- okay fine, but inconvenient. I followed up the week of and was told I would know my time window (morning or afternoon) the day before drop-off. The delivery arrived within the window provided the day prior. However, when dropping off the rentals, the girl lit up a cigarette instantly. I kid you not, there was a cigarette in her mouth as she was unloading lacquered wood benches. I was in shock at the audacity, but kindly requested she put out the cigarette given it was a no-smoking property. If the venue owner sees this on camera, we can lose our security deposit. For what you cost of the rentals, plus what you pay for a less than perfect return of the rentals, I was disappointed in quality-cushions were less than clean, and the wood benches were falling apart. Final straw, the rentals were supposed to be picked up on Saturday. No time provided. Being nervous about this, my husband and I woke up early the morning after our wedding to ensure proper pick-up. By 3:00 pm, I was panicked. I called and emailed multiple times, but they are not available or reachable on weekends. It ruined my last day with friends & family because I would be charged if anything was left behind at the venue. At 9:00pm, I finally received an email saying they'd be picked up the next morning. Nothing more. No accountability for the stress (& money) this caused with the venue. No follow-up to say they had been picked up. Completely unacceptable. I could go on... -
