We had a beautiful small wedding at The Belle Crane Inn on 10/1/2022. The week prior was nail biting with Hurricane Ian barreling up the coast. Owner, Mrs. Barber, was very accommodating throughout the process and especially that week to prepare our rain plan. We loved the easy planning process, the beautiful garden and home for our small wedding. It was exactly what we wanted. Mrs. Barber was also very easy to work with and managed the entire day and more. Loved it!

Southern and Classy
We had a wedding of 100 guests at the Belle Crane Inn and it was perfect! Being the mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy the special day and not worry. Mrs. Barber (host/owner) and her staff were wonderful to work with especially Gabby who was fantastic and super helpful the day of the wedding. Mrs. Barber kept things organized and on schedule while being kind. She met with us several times before the wedding and was always quick to return my calls. Her recommendation for caterer and DJ were excellent. The groomsmen got ready off site while the bridesmaids got hair and makeup done offsite, but got ready in the beautiful bridal suite. The venue was absolutely beautiful, intimate, and elegant.

Hidden Gem
We are so thankful that we found this hidden gem! From our first visit, we were taken with the beauty and warmth of the home and grounds. Everything is extremely well kept and immaculate!
Mrs. Barber was so very helpful and delightful from the very beginning all the way up to the very end. She was always very prompt to answer or respond to our many calls and emails (quite a few). She was extremely helpful with any questions or decisions we needed help with.
The day of the wedding, we met all of the staff at the Belle Crane. Everyone was so extremely nice, helpful, and accommodating. With all of their support, everything ran smoothly and without a hitch! We were treated like family and couldn't have asked for a better experience or people to work with.
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding/reception venue choice of the The Belle Crane Inn. It was the perfect place for our beautiful, intimate, and very special day!

Pulling off a 2020 wedding never looked easier ... Belle Crane is remarkable!
2020 wedding …. people thought we were crazy and we would have been had it not been for Margaret and the Belle Crane! Setting up social distancing seating, no problem for Margaret and her staff. Working out ways to make sure areas were set up to keep our more sensitive guests away from congestion, while still allowing them to be part of everything, easily done with Margaret's patience and ideas. Having your officiant test positive for Covid two days prior to the wedding, well, time to get frantic! Yes, that happened, but the way Margaret and the venue staff worked through this, was simply remarkable. Minor adjustments to ceremony seating, coupled with our laptop and Bluetooth speaker, we were able to virtually connect with our officiant while still having an unbelievably beautiful service. Margaret never complained when we asked for many walkthroughs and asked the same questions and the day of the wedding went over perfectly. This, among the following positives to this venue, made my day perfect:
* Inclusive & reasonable cost (caterer, DJ, venue)
* Day of wedding coordinators (Margaret & her staff is the best)
* Amazing food!!!
* Venue is so beautiful, that with minimal decorating, you have an amazing space
* Belle Crane staff will go above and beyond to make your day special

Southern Elegance
We had a wonderful experience at the Belle Crane Inn. From the moment we first stepped on property, Mrs. Barber made us feel welcome and calm as it was apparent she knew exactly what she was doing. She talked us through their services and options. She told us to go home and talk and think about it- no pressure at all- but honestly, we had made our decision before we even left the property! Trust her recommendations, they are spot on. The ceremony site situated amongst the magnolias is spectacular. The bride makes a grand entrance off the wrap around porch that is absolutely stunning. Our guests loved meandering on the grounds during cocktail hour and the tent with the dance floor was a dream for dinner and dancing. Every detail was covered by the staff from the golf carts picking guests up at their cars upon arrival to having everything packed up and ready for us to easily grab after the send off. It truly was the most wonderful evening. As a mother of the bride, I didn't need to look at my watch once because every detail was handled and we were guided throughout the night for the perfect flow. Also, Mrs. Barber answered the phone every time I called- a rare find these days for someone to be so attentive. We couldn't be happier.

We fell in love with the place the moment we saw it and Mrs. Barber and her staff were all amazing. The place was elegant and very relaxing. She was very helpful in getting the catering, DJ and setting up everything for us we did not have to worry about anything but getting married. we highly recommend Belle Crane Inn.

Perfect venue for an outdoor ceremony
My husband and I were looking for a venue that felt like home and we found it at the Belle Crane. On our first visit to the venue, we already knew it was going to be the place for us! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the tent structure was gorgeous for our reception. Our florist was able to add a wooden pergola draped with flowers and it felt like a dream come true! Ms. Barber handles everything and connected us to our caterer, DJ, and the tent vendor company. She was a part of the process every step of the way and she even directed our event the day of to make sure everything went off without a hitch! We had a super short engagement but we didn't feel rushed since Ms. Barber handled the logistics. The only downside was that I wasn't able to get ready at the venue with my friends- My husband and I did not have a "bridal party" but I had 4 really close girl friends with me. It turned out not to be too much of a hassle since I ended up getting ready with my friends in a hotel suite not far from the venue but it would have been a beautiful setting for pictures since the bridal room is so pretty. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outside venue!

Amazing and Better Alternative Plan for wedding during COVID-19
Ms.Margaret Barbara was a life saver for us during Covid-19. We made a last minute pull from The Terrace at Cedar Hill who were unable to host us for our August 1,2020 wedding. Margaret was a wonderful listening ear and she has a beautifully landscaped venue. With its large and spread out property it made our guests feel comfortable and able to be socially distanced throughout the event. Margaret was helpful in so many ways. She provided us with information for a new and more affordable caterer. She was flexible with our seating arrangements and had great advice for how to set up tents, linens, bar, gift table, and any other wedding related question we had . She was there every step of the way and was able to help plan all of this for us 2 weeks shy of our wedding since we changed venues! I wish we had found her first because it is not a plan B venue, it was an amazing venue that I would recommend to every engaged couple during Covid-19 or not!!!!

Top Notch!
Our overall experience with the owner was top notch! Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 virus, we had to postpone our wedding but I wanted to rate this venue anyway. I would highly recommend having a wedding and/or reception at this venue! It’s a beautiful place and the owner is available and responsive and accommodating. She helps you try to stay within your budget and is very professional as well. The Inn and overall property are immaculate and beautifully maintained. My favorite part is the wrap around porch. Gorgeous!

This venue saved our COVID-19 wedding!!
The Belle Crane Inn staff was instrumental in making our wedding as wonderful as it was in the midst of a pandemic. They worked closely with us to follow all governmental guidelines and safety protocols while still creating our dream wedding. The staff was helpful, thought 4 steps ahead, and alleviated all stress. The venue is gorgeous and has so many contacts with vendors in the community if you need any help at all. We are so thankful for the Belle Crane and the Barbers!

The Belle Crane Inn- Beautiful Venue and Wonderful Host!
Mrs. Margaret Barber was a major part of my wedding's success at the Belle Crane Inn in Fort Mill, SC. The Belle Crane is a Southern, charming venue surrounded by magnolias and well kept landscaping. The house is beautiful on the outside, but the inside is magnificent for pictures and our ceremony. Ms. Margaret was a wonderful host, always ready to provide options and provides professional services. She is kind, trustworthy, and has a great balance of flexibility and structure. She maintains an orderly staff and referenced other amazing professionals to assist (ex. DJ, catering). My guests (including my groom's and my family/wedding party) were comfortable and extremely impressed with the venue; even after the wedding, I am still getting comments and endless praise of the hospitality. If I had to go through another wedding, I would only do it with Ms. Margaret at the Belle Crane.

Beautiful Christmas Wedding
We got lucky and found this amazing venue, and it was so close to home! Mrs. Barber was so great to work with. She was very detail oriented and accommodating to what we wanted for our special day. She has so much experience planning the events and knows who to recommend for your other services. This was a great help to us because we didn't have time to find caterers, and taste test food, and find decorations, and all the other details. She had the wreaths and Christmas tree up 2 days after Thanksgiving. We were so happy to have these decorations up for our pictures! The fee included all the tables and table cloths, the chairs and the arbor for our small gathering. The Belle Crane Inn is spotless, and it was really nice to hear all of our guests say how nice it was, and how did we find it! The huge wrap-around porch was great, and gave everyone more space due to the rain. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful venue, at a reasonable price, with an owner that really cares about you.

An Unforgettable Wedding Venue
Where do I even start? My husband and I are busy people. I work as a public school teacher and Navy Reservist. He is always on the road traveling. The idea of planning a wedding was daunting to say the least. Margaret put all of our worries to rest. From the time we booked her until the moment we left at the end of our wonderful night, she took care of us. She handled all of the details so we could just enjoy our time with our families and friends. She was incredibly easy to work with-responsive, caring, and open to communicating with us about anything needed to ensure everything came out the way we envisioned it. On the night before my wedding, she called me to prepare me for the possibility that rain might get in the way of my plans for an outdoor ceremony. On the day of, she took great care to discuss possible contingency plans with me. When the rain continued throughout the day leading up to my outdoor, evening ceremony, she took every possible care to stick to the plan that I wanted until the situation made it impossible. When that happened, she moved to an alternative option we had discussed ahead of time and which I was prepared for. There were no surprises. Despite the rain, my wedding was absolutely beautiful. My guests were all raving about how charming the venue was, how much fun everyone was having, and how well orchestrated everything was even though we were deviating from the original plan. When you book with Margaret, you can rest assured that no matter what happens, she will work tirelessly to deliver the wedding of your dreams to you. No detail is too small or too trivial to slip past her attention. You should definitely give the Belle Crane Inn your business.

Classic and Charming Southern Wedding!
The Belle Crane completely exceeded my expectations and wildest dreams! Planning the wedding was incredibly easy and low-stress. Mrs. Barber thought of everything. They helped us to have a fairy tale day. The house is very warm and inviting, with a gorgeous wrap-around porch. The outside areas were 'picture perfect', with beautiful magnolias and an immaculate lawn. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding, their team took care of every little detail. We basically just had to show up! I highly, highly recommend the Belle Crane if you are looking for a classic Southern wedding. I couldn't have been happier!!

Perfect Wedding!
We are so happy that we chose The Belle Crane Inn for our special day! The home and gardens provided a cozy and beautiful setting for our outdoor wedding and indoor dinner/reception. We could not be more pleased with the way Ms. Barber and her staff took care of every detail to perfection! All of our guests commented about the beautiful home and the delicious food! As a bride, it was great knowing that Ms. Barber was there to handle the details and all that my husband and I had to do was have a good time and enjoy our family and friends. Beautiful Southern Summer Wedding
We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding and it was a wonderful experience. The facility was beautiful and meticulously maintained. Miss Margaret and her family were great hosts and ensured a smooth process from initial planning through the wedding day . The vendors we were referred to for catering and DJ were top notch. We received many compliments on the food and the DJ kept the party going. We would highly recommend The Belle Crane Inn.

Anniversary Party
We had a 40th anniversary suprise party for my parents here. Margaret the owner was very helpful from start to finish! The venue is gorgeous and very clean, perfect for our gathering of 35 friends and family, and can easily accommodate larger events. I would definitely recommend this venue for weddings or even small private get together.

I fell in love with the Belle Crane the first time I visited and met Ms. Barber. And our wedding guests instantly fell in love with it too. Ms. Barber and Wendy are incredible to work with - they are so flexible and accommodating. Everything we asked for, they made it happen. The whole team at the Belle Crane took amazing care of us - throughout the planning process and on the wedding day. They made us feel right at home and treated us just like family. Having our wedding at the Belle Crane was stress free. Ms. Barber gave us incredible recommendations for other vendors too - and they all were amazing. The Belle Crane in unique with its breath-taking porches and gave us a magical night. You don't have to decorate - its charm is all you need. The Belle Crane lends itself to perfect pictures with so many ideal backdrops for wedding pictures. Ms. Barber and Wendy gave us invaluable help planning the big day and pulling it all off. From giving us ideas to choose from to making our dreams a reality, Ms. Barber and Wendy did it all. The Belle Crane is an incredible space, with amazing people, and a great value. Margaret was amazing! Having to relocate our wedding from the beach due to Hurricane Florence with only 5 days. She took us under her wing and arranged for the rentals, food, golf carts and supplies this beautiful location! This location can host an outdoor wedding with its lushish grass and magnolia trees, but in case weather becomes a probably it can quickly be relocated inside ! The Belle Crane Inn is a must visit when looking for a fabulous wedding venue

Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my new vows! Working with Barbara and her daughter-in-law was so easy. They recommended amazing vendors, answered my various questions in a timely manner, helped me organize and run everything the day of and worked with all my vendors so that I didn't have to stress. They also didn't nickel and dime me for every little thing, which is VERY much appreciated. A++++++!!!!!

The owner and her staff were fantastic! The timing and organization were impeccable. They accommodated every special need for our wedding without a fuss or adding into the price.
