Although I found Anne and her company through instagram, I have no issue writing her a review in any/all formats I can find her in because she (and her team ofc) truly deserve it. In our first zoom, Anne was so informative and personal while still upholding the upmost professionalism. It wasn’t long before I decided to book with her and her team despite our wedding day being almost a full year away. Throughout the planning of our day, Anne and her team were constant in regards to communication. They were extremely flexible in accommodating my hair/makeup trial despite my busy and ever changing schedule. And were extremely prompt on the day of the wedding. Sheila did the most amazing Hollywood waves and Anne did the most amazing look while still feeling like myself. It was not easy having 10 bridesmaids but Anne and her team truly pulled through and enhanced the girls natural and authentic beauty. 10/10 would recommend and highly suggest booking her as I know she tends to book up pretty fast. -

Grace from The Beauty Consultant is an absolute dream! She is incredibly talented, so sweet, and made my wedding hair dreams come true. I used clip-in extensions for the first time, and they blended beautifully and stayed perfect all night. I was also dealing with some hair loss, and Grace was so sensitive and kind throughout the whole process, making me feel completely comfortable and so beautiful. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair, too! I only wish I had more events coming up so I could hire her again. Thank you, Grace! -

Bridal Hair and Makeup Review for The Beauty Consultant
I truly cannot recommend The Beauty Consultant (TBC) enough. Anne and Lois made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, completely pampered, celebrated, and so well cared for. From the moment we met, working with them felt like reconnecting with friends I’d known my whole life. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine passion made the entire experience so special.
As someone who loves makeup and full glam, I found it surprisingly difficult to find artists who could truly deliver beyond the very soft, natural styles that are everywhere at the moment but TBC advertised having a range of makeup styles available, especially full glam and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. Their skill range is incredible, and they executed my vision flawlessly. They also have all of the high end, top rated products that you dream of using. My hair and makeup looked flawless all day and night and somehow still looked amazing 30 hours later! And even so for my bridesmaids and my moms who got their hair and makeup done. I was completely blown away with how amazing they looked.
What stood out just as much as their talent was the environment they created was calm, welcoming, and safe. I felt completely comfortable asking for exactly what I wanted or making changes, and everything was received with such care and professionalism. The communication and planning were seamless and stress-free (even with me organising everything from Australia!), which made the entire process so easy and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a team that is not only exceptionally talented but also genuinely wonderful people who will make you feel confident, heard, and beautiful then TBC is it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience -

So let me begin by saying that my wedding was finalized in 8 weeks and I reached out to TBC with like 6 weeks to my wedding. Normally, they start working with brides 9-12 months in advance. Considering the situation, Anne (owner) moved things around and secured me a spot with the amazing Rachel and Sieana.
When I tell you these ladies are dedicated to their craft, I mean it. They were so invested in ensuring I loved my look and that it was executed to my vision. They took feedback, went above and beyond (even gifting me specific products they bought just for me) and honestly, were so grounded on such a chaotic day. You are in great hands with these two. I really loved the multiple touch points of communication, clarity, and consultation. Through out the make up process, I was asked for feedback, provided with next steps, and was able to give my own input on what I was comfortable with. Same thing with my hair!! Both lasted legit until the next afternoon hahah not a smudge for my make up and my hair—mind you it is over 30 inches long— held its curl until the next day ((and yes I was dancing like a maniac)). Ladies, I was never confused, lost, or having to coordinate my own answers which you know is a blessing during the craziness that is wedding planning. 12/10!!! -

The Beauty Consultant was incredible. I was looking for a hair/makeup vendor in North Carolina and they were so friendly and accommodating. They took the time to speak with me and understand my needs and vision. Anne, the owner was terrific and my hair/makeup artist for the day Lois was fabulous. She discussed the look with me and was super open to making changes during the trial. All of my bridesmaids loved their looks and felt really heard while explaing their inspiration looks. highly recommend if you have a bridal party with a diverse range of looks and styles. and just in general recommend if you want to love your hair/make-up vendor as much as I did. -

Anne and her team are absolutely amazing!!!! They were the second vendor we booked (behind the venue) because they were that important for me to secure! From day one, Anne and her team have been extremely communicative and make sure you are well informed and know what will happen next. They were my most “on point” vendor we had! I never felt more confident and beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Anne and Grace! Anne is extremely attentive and knowledgeable! Our mothers and bridesmaids were also very impressed with their hair/makeup! Hands down if I ever need professional hair or makeup I will be reaching out to them again! Best decision I made (aside from marrying my husband) was booking The Beauty Consultant! -

Anne and her team were amazing! They truly felt like friends which made getting ready so much fun and stress free! We were laughing and having fun rather than stressing day off! All my bridal team loved their hair and makeup and the artists took their time to make sure everyone was happy with the turn out.. even if that meant re-doing or fixing things! I am obsessed with Anne and her attention to detail is freakishly impressive! We love a Type A business owner lol Most importantly, they cater completely to the brides wishes and inspo, rather than calling the shots themselves. Couldn't of been happier with them and I highly recommend! -

Wonderful Wedding Day Experience
I am so glad that I booked The Beauty Consultant for my and my family’s wedding day hair and makeup. Anne is an amazing person and an extremely talented makeup artist. She was completely professional through the entire process and always arrived promptly. Nika did my hair and it was absolutely perfect and stayed nicely even in the wind. Anne and her team made me feel more beautiful than ever on my wedding day! My mom doesn’t often use makeup and felt nervous about getting it done professionally. Anne immediately made my mom feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. Any questions or concerns anyone had, Anne resolved immediately. I got complimented on my hair and makeup all night, which stayed perfectly through tears, sweat, and dancing!! Cannot recommend The Beauty Consultant enough! -

Annie was a wonderful make-up artist for my wedding. Annie has been my best friend since I was 6 and was thrilled to have her do my make-up. She was professional and kind and nailed my make-up to be exactly what I wanted for my big day. She uses reputable make-up, unlike other make-up artists have in the past. She also did my sister and mother's make-up and they looked beautiful, as well. You wouldn't regret hiring The Beauty Consultant! -

Anne is absolutely amazing. Not only is she personable, but she took time to really understand my wants and didn't push for me to do anything out of my comfort zone. Flourish your own beauty with the most knowledgeable make up artist.
What I liked the most is that she was able to flourish my own beauty. She asked me at first what do I love about my self? And I answered my skin and my lips. She did a good job focusing on those features. I feel that it was very smooth and clean. Another thing that I liked it is that she was explaining to me what she was doing and using. I took down a couple of tips that I will start applying myself. Their products were very good quality, after 5 hours It was still intact. She was very kind, punctual and professional. Another good point about her is that she is bilingual. This helped me a lot to express her what I was looking for on this special day. In Summary she is a knowledgeable make up artist, I loved this experience and her! 🌟🌟🌟The Beauty Consultant's reply:

She did a phenomenal job and was so professional throughout the whole process. She was very kind and a great calming presence while getting ready. She also took her time and made sure that what he was doing was exactly what I wanted while she worked. She did such a wonderful job, I cannot recommend her enough and I know my mom would agree I certainly felt beautiful but not overdone on my wedding day. -

I am very special with how I like my makeup done. I was a little scared to have a makeup artist do my face in such an important day for me, my wedding. I was gladly surprised with Annie's work. My skin looked amazing all night long and the makeup lasted the whole event. I received so many complements and I truly felt confident walking down the aisle.
