Over the years, I had seen Nicole’s work on friends and online, and every single time I thought the same thing — they look like the most glamorous, elevated versions of themselves. That is what she delivered and more!
Nicole’s communication throughout the entire process was prompt, clear, and genuinely caring. When other vendors were slow with schedules or responses, Nicole was always there reassuring me and even offering to reach out on my behalf. Her pricing is exceptionally fair, and her contract is clear and easy to understand. She is an experienced bridal makeup artist in every sense of the word — she is incredibly down to earth and delivers an incredibly luxe experience.
Living in North Jersey, I can confidently say the two-hour drive for my makeup trial was worth it a thousand times over. From the moment I left, I had complete peace of mind knowing I had booked the right artist. Nicole is a true professional — she asked thorough questions about my skin, my daily makeup, my dress, the season, indoor vs. outdoors, etc. She honestly helped me make decisions about parts of my wedding I didn’t even realize I needed to think through. Her experience with bridal services is unparalleled.
At the trial we did two different looks and quickly found the perfect direction. There is absolutely no ego in Nicole’s work — she welcomes questions, explains what she’s using, and encourages you to speak up if you want to try something different. She even showed me how everything photographed, using lighting to mimic daylight and flash, which was such a game changer. I really felt like “Ohhhh… now I get it.” My only regret from the trial was that I had nowhere to go afterward!!!
In terms of the wedding day — I’ll admit, I had some (in hindsight, very unnecessary) worries about my bridal party. My mom had never had her makeup done professionally and was nervous about looking too “done.” My sister and sister-in-law wear very minimal makeup and originally weren’t even planning on having theirs done. My MOH, thankfully, was game for anything.
When I say Nicole is changing lives, I am not exaggerating. My sister, who had never worn eyeliner let alone lashes before, agreed to try them — they looked so natural and beautiful that my mom asked if she could have “another coat of mascara or something”… only to realize my sister was wearing lashes. Cut to my mom immediately asking for lashes too! My SIL, who was concerned about eyeshadow on her hooded eyes, was blown away by how bright, lifted, and stunning her eyes looked.
As the bride, watching my closest family truly enjoy themselves — taking selfies, staring in the mirror, feeling confident and special was one of the sweetest, most unexpected gifts of the day. They are always beautiful, but seeing them feel extra special meant everything to me. Nicole absolutely transformed everyone in the best way.
I cannot recommend Nicole enough. She has the talent, the technical knowledge, and the most likable, and relaxed presence. There is something truly special about her — not only is she beautiful inside and out herself, she made me feel so beautiful and she created such beautiful moments for my closest family that I will forever cherish. -

Nicole's work is truly amazing. She is professional, organized, detailed, and is a joy to be around. She did my makeup for my wedding, as well as my bridesmaids and both moms. From the start she is very organized and helpful throughout the process. I did my trial with her, which was so much fun, and we went through everything and tried different styles so I could settle on the look for the big day. She pays attention to detail and is very good at listening to what you want and providing recommendations that will help translate the look. I don't know a ton about makeup, so having someone that is able to put together exactly what I want based on photos is so helpful! She is also hilarious and very easy to talk to, which is much appreciated during the big day. When she was doing my makeup, I was able to relax before things started to get hectic. Additionally - the makeup stayed on ALL night. I didn't need any touch ups and it made it all night and even to the after party. I could not recommend Nicole and her team enough - she takes pride in what she does and she is an expert! -

Hey Wedding Planning is HARD so make it EASY by Booking NICOLE!
Ok this is my honest rating and opinion: Nicole is absolutely freaking AMAZING. I am going to back this up using a couple different reasons. 1) Not that all Women aren't beautiful special snowflakes in their own ways, but let's just say that Nicole has the amazing ability to make anyone look like Adriana Lima which is sometimes more difficult than other times, right? It is AMAZING she is like the beauty fair godmother. 2) Again, all Brides have beautiful weddings in their own way, but I think a lot of them go for the "natural" look and then unfortunately it doesn't translate into the beautiful high definition pictures that you spend a million dollars on for your wedding. Nicole's work shows UP! AND in real life, it doesn't look too cakey or like too much, it looks stunning. But it is dramatic enough in the right ways to accentuate what features make YOU look best, that I was like literally who is that?? Oh its ME. All of my Bridesmaids and the Maids of Honor looked like runway models as well, both in real life and in pictures. And finally, 3) the make up that Nicole does STAYS ON. LIKE DIDN'T MOVE and you KNOWWWW we were crying in the club because its the most fun and beautiful day of your life I am crying right now thinking about it but OUR MAKE UP STAYED the lashes STAYED it was phenomenal. SO yeah I am really freaking happy with my choice to go with The Beauty Bar And Lounge. A note too that while I keep saying Nicole, her assistant she brought along was just as phenomenal in all the same ways. ALSO my trial was amazing, I did it before my bridal shower to look stunning there as well, and we tweaked a few things for the wedding day as it was at night and Nicole was really receptive to all of my requests and changes - I maybe had like 2-3 things (very slight) that we changed and I felt very heard and that she was able to create exactly what I wanted. Anyway, she is fantastic and you would be a FOOL to not book her. Can't wait to have her do my makeup for all of my future life events :) -

Nicole has been amazing at what she does since I met her a few years ago. As soon as I started planning my wedding I booked her before my venue.. she was in such a great mood. She helped me relax & played music. Gave her ideas & she worked her magic. I didn’t see myself til she was done. My exact words were “you fu******* killed it”! I was in love with myself. -

Nicole from The Beauty Bar and Lounge is simply the best make up artist I’ve ever worked with. Having been a bridesmaid in many weddings, and had multiple trials with other companies myself, her work truly is outstanding and she is the best in the greater Philly area in my opinion. All of my bridesmaids and the moms looked stunning. As the bride, she made all of my ideas come to life and I’ve never felt prettier. Not only is Nicole talented, but she is a gem of a human and her personality made our day so much fun. Nicole is now not only a vendor from my wedding, but a friend, and I can’t wait to work with her again! -

Highly recommend! It was an absolute honor to have Nicole as my makeup artist for my wedding. She is extremely personable and is determined to cater to your dream wedding look. No matter your skin tone, she is a true makeup mixologist! I would definitely choose her again if I need any professional makeup done in the future. -

Amazing!!!!!!!
I had the honor of being blessed by Nicole and her magic hands and brushes! I was so blown away with how beautiful she made me look and feel. My face looked straight off a runway , and was so perfect I just couldn't stop staring at myself !!! She was so professional , extremely friendly and I honestly feel I've made a friend for life. If there were a million stars to give her as a rating she'd have them all! I was apart of a bridal party and so glad the bride found her. Now I've found a makeup artist for any and every event in the future! You will be extremely happy with your results with this company! -

Let me just start with, you HAVE to book Nicole for your special day. She is by far the best in the industry. Nicole did my make up for my MOH wedding a few years ago, and I knew then that she would be my MUA for my wedding. She is so professional, down to earth, and knows her stuff. She listens to what your desired look is, compliments your features, and makes you look and feel like a movie star. She is genuine and cares about her clients. As a bride who was supposed to get married on April 3, two weeks after NJ shut down due to covid. Nicole not only made her self available for our new date but listened to me vent and cry. She was supportive and understanding and I can truly say I’ve gained a friend in her. She and her team are amazing and you won’t be disappointed with them once you book them! -

She is amazing
Nicole was fabulous! She made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful and special. Her work is great, she had to do our makeup pretty early and I was worried it would fade before the ceremony but it didn’t! She knows what she is doing and the make up will last all night long. -
