The Perfect Day!
When we first visited The Barn At Riverbend, I knew it was the one when my then-fiancé was excited. The perfect “Us.” First there was assisting us w/ Preferred Vendors. I can say all surpassed our investment! Beyond thrilled! Then, there was as we were approaching our day, meeting w/ Des, Kip, our wonderful Wedding Planner, Jamie, and then the Open House, the butterflies started syncing in. I knew the day would go seamlessly, just how passionate they were to us having the day we envisioned. The ease of walking us thru the day, asking questions I didn’t even think about, it certainly lessened an nerves a bride would have. Then our Day arrived! Greeted by both Kris & Kip, they were ready to help however they could. There were so many special touches that warmed my heart, from the bridal suite, a sweet note & cutting board, the mimosa bar, to finding a way for my Mother who’s challenged w/ stairs with getting around, a place for to get ready, helping her sit hillside w/ the amphitheater seating, to walking their property the morning, ensuring no maintenance needs. Bridal Paths, both Hannah & Jamie, were perfect!, professional & the kindest! The whole team was truly amazing! A month to the day, & still reliving the perfect day!, & could not be happier with The Barn At Riverbend. ~ Debra -

The Barn at Riverbend truly exceeded every expectation that I had. It is the most beautiful and special wedding space. The staff made all of the planning and prep so smooth, and I felt so personally cared for throughout all of it. The property is endless in its beautiful treasures, memories, and photo opportunities. I couldn't think of a better place to have had our wedding - forever grateful for The Barn!!! -

The Barn at Riverbend is simply the best venue in the Kansas City area! The grounds are gorgeous, the owners get to know their couples and are so attentive to their wishes, and the staff is top notch! We received so many compliments from our guests, from the natural beauty of the venue to the supportive staff. We just cannot say enough positive things about the Barn!! Simply the best experience and most gorgeous wedding location ever! -

Dreamy, romantic, BEAUTIFUL venue!
The Barn at Riverbend is the dreamiest wedding venue you’ll find in the area!! Upon the first few mins of our first tour, we absolutely fell in love with the space; the barn, the veranda, the river, the hillside ceremony spot… it is beautiful! Kris & Desiree we’re so accommodating, helpful, responsive, and personable to make sure the venue was ready and set up for success so our day could turn out perfectly. We had so so many guests comment on how beautiful and amazing our venue was & we couldn’t agree with them more! -

Magical Venue!
The Barn at Riverbend is truly magical. We got married here in June 2023 and it was perfect. Desiree, Kris, and the entire staff was absolutely amazing to work with during the entire process and day of. They were extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. All of our guests were in awe of how beautiful the venue was and liked how they got to experience different parts of the property for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The space is so beautiful we only had to do minimal decorations. The day exceeded our expectations and we wish we could re-live it again! The Barn at Riverbend is so unique in the KC area and we would highly recommend to any future couple. -

RUN don't walk to sign your contract here
We got married at the Barn at Riverbend this past month and It was the best decision we made for our wedding!!
We really wanted an outdoor wedding that didn't have overwhelming "farm" vibes. This venue really hits the head on the nail. We didn't do any decorating outside of florals because the natural setting was just so perfect. Everyone keeps remarking that our wedding truly looked like something out of a fairy tale. The wood tables and decor that the venue does already provide feels so authentic. I wouldn't change a thing about how the venue looks.
Desiree and the owners were also so accommodating with all our ideas. They didn't blink an eye when we said we wanted to do something a little different and have karaoke instead of the typical dance party at our reception. They even offered our guests complimentary coffee service when the temperature dropped 40 degrees two days before and allowed us to switch our signature drink to a hot toddy.
Our day of coordinator had never worked a wedding here before, but was so incredibly impressed with how professional the owners and venue coordinator were. Everything could not have run more smoothly.
Even though It was cold, everything was still so perfect. Please - RUN, don't walk to sign a contract here. -

The Barn at Riverbend is the most gorgeous venue to hold your wedding day at. The staff is the most hardworking staff to make sure the property, landscape, even parking goes flawless for your guests and you. We love how responsive they are in emails when we have questions. The final meetings will cover every single detail so your wedding day goes perfectly. We HIGHLY recommend booking the Barn at Riverbend for your wedding day! -

We got married on 8/6/22 and I’m SO happy we chose The Barn at Riverbend! We found out we were pregnant in the middle of wedding planning, and The Barn was able to change our wedding date last minute and accommodate us to work better with our pregnancy timing! Even though it was a 100 degree day, they made sure to make everything go as smoothly as possible and made sure to take all of our requests into consideration when planning. I would definitely recommend Hannah Wilson as a coordinator as she does many weddings at this venue. It was so worth it to have a stress free day and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and it definitely felt like a fairytale of a day with my perfect boho-inspired wedding! -

I had the honor of attending an event at The Barn at Riverbend! What an experience it was! The staff was so attentive, not only to the bride & groom, but to all the guests including me. They went above and beyond to make the entire venue look stunning. From the moment we pulled in we had their team parking all the guests, leading us to the unique, breathtaking ceremony site, and we had the best time gathering on their bar patio under the twinkle lights and stars. Their veranda has a tranquil view of the river. Even the pinterest worthy bathrooms were so clean. I would recommend this venue to everyone! -

I adore this location! It is set in the most beautiful setting, so many gorgeous spots for photos and the barn is exquisite!!! The staff were superb and so friendly and professional. You can tell they have a passion for hosting well! -

When my now wife and I were searching for wedding venues in the autumn of 2019, The Barn at River Bend was the first venue we visited. As it turns out, we did not even need to view any others. After touring the site, we knew that we did not want our wedding to be anywhere else than The Barn. The photographs do not do justice to how beautiful the venue is. From the reception area overlooking the river to the rustic groomsmen cabin to the ceremony site nestled gently beneath the trees, there is no part of The Barn that is not breathtaking. We were fortunate to have a perfectly sunny day for our wedding, and our family members and guests could not stop complementing how lovely and peaceful everything seemed. But as much as The Barn itself contributed to our ideal wedding experience, that experience would not have been possible without the amazing staff at the Barn. Kris, the owner, was so gracious and helpful during our walkthrough. Jon, the DJ who works with The Barn, met with us multiple times to craft our music playlist and set a timeline for the reception. The reception and dancing would not have gone as well as they did without Jon's help. And finally, Desiree, the Venue Manger for the Barn, was great to work with. She helped us every step of the way, answering all of our questions and generally helping us stay calm during the whole process. We very much appreciated her attention to detail. In short, we give The Barn at River Bend our highest recommendation. If you are looking for a special, even magical, wedding experience, then there is no venue in the Kansas City area that can compete with The Barn.
