I can't tell you how much this venue means to my heart after our big special day! If you have any questions about whether you should book here take those out of your mind because this is the place! If it rains, doesn't matter everything is inside! If you want beautiful outdoor scenery, they have it! I can't speak highly enough of Candace, her team and the location. Honeysuckle Hill is so stunning! 5/8/26 was the best day of my life so far with all of their help. I will be homesick for a place I have never lived, but now hold me and my husbands most precious memories. Please consider taking a tour! I still can't fathom how nothing went wrong on our wedding day but amazingly it went off without a hitch! So many amazing spots for photos, the chapel is breath taking and everything the venue has to offer is all you need. Getting ready space for bride and groom, the lily pond and stunning field. I had SEVERAL guests say this was the best wedding they have ever been to! HH also has a la carte, and all inclusive options so it really is your choice. Candace is also the dream to work with. You will not regret choosing this venue! 1000/10! :) -

There's a reason The Barn is an award winning venue. It's an absolutely gorgeous place and so many things are included with your rental. It's conveniently located close enough to Asheville, but set out in a serene area. We loved working with Candace too! She was always very responsive and accommodating if we had questions or requests. You can tell she loves the property and what she does. I would 100% do another event here and I've recommended it to everyone I know. -

The Perfect Venue!
My husband and I knew we wanted a venue that offered it all... and Honeysuckle Hill truly delivered! We loved that there was an "all inclusive" option that decreased a lot of the decision fatigue that can come with planning a wedding. Candace (the wonderful owner) provided an incredible list of vendors she had vetted and knew would help make our wedding exceptional.
The bridal loft/groom's room was a perfectly curated space for us to get ready before the ceremony started. And it was so nice to walk from the ceremony space straight into the reception area. The property also offers so many beautiful spots for photo ops!
We were so pleased with our entire experience at Honeysuckle Hill. If we had to do it all again, we wouldn't change a thing! -

We had our wedding reception at Honeysuckle Hill. This venue is incredible. The outside is beautiful, and the inside is a blank canvas. It is amazing to see it come to life with a vision. Our guests were easily able to find the venue, our transportation vendors had no issues, and ride share apps worked well. The location is great: it’s quiet and secluded but an easy drive from Asheville. Candace and her entire team were amazing to work with. I would highly recommend hosting an event here! -

Our wedding day was a dream. Honeysuckle Hill was the absolute most perfect venue - every detail was considered and handled. Our guests loved the venue - it was stunning and was the perfect space for everyone. All of our vendors were amazing and made our vision come alive. The real star was our planner Candace - to say she was our biggest blessing would be an understatement. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she ran with it and exceeded every expectation I had. She was patient, funny, responsible and so organized. It didn’t feel like she was our planner - she was our friend through this entire process. I cannot write enough positive comments about our entire experience - it was a seamless and perfect day. -

Elegant rustic wedding venue with all inclusive packages
We had a micro wedding on March 7th, 2021 at Honey Suckle. Leading up to the wedding family and friends would say, all weddings have something that go wrong, so expect it, but they were wrong. Candice and her team were amazing. The all inclusive package was more than I ever could have imagined. It made a destination wedding so easy it and was custom to our wants and needs. Every wish I had for our big day came true. We booked Honeysuckle Hill sight unseen from Florida and Candice was always a phone call or text message away. She made sure that although the wedding was small it was elegant and had our family and friends raving. When you arrive to the property you can tell so much love went into designing the venue and it has this warm feeling that tells a love story. You don't need to bring much to decorate as the property its self has so much to offer. At the 30 day checking Candice went over all of the details for the big day. She listened and offered advice to help guide me. I explained I wanted to have a hot chocolate and cookie bar. She suggested bringing smores to have around the fire pit. Little did I know the day of the event she set up cornhole on the patio and we would spend the last 45 minutes of the wedding mingling with our family and friends while roasting marshmallows! It was something I never would have thought about yet everyone loved it, including us! She created a day of timeline that made the event flow beautifully and gave us so much needed help at the rehearsal. The day of the wedding was so stress-free that it honestly didn't feel real. The preferred vendors are hands down the best anyone could ask for. We were able to get ready at Engaged Asheville with Melissa from Pop of Color. The make up and hair were amazing. When we arrived at Honeysuckle Candice and her team were welcoming and immediately started to help set everything up. The heaters were on in the bridal suites which made dressing a breeze. As we got ready, Candice took care of everything we discussed at our 30 day check in. Kathy Beaver was the sweetest photographer you could imagine. Candice and Kathy worked in harmony to ensure that our pictures were perfect. Numerous times Candice would run over and fix my hair. They both would constantly check on me to see if I needed extra layers to stay warm. Candice gave us a lift on the ATV to help navigate the grounds and it was a blessing. We never felt rushed and can honestly say the day was amazing. Everyone that attended the wedding said it was elegant, personal, and had all the right touches. -

My daughter’s wedding at Honeysuckle Hill was exactly what she dreamed of. The venue is beautiful, and Candace and team went above and beyond to make sure her wedding was amazing. Her suggested vendors were also wonderful, from cake to florals to makeup and hair; we couldn’t have been happier. We can’t wait to see the pictures and video! -

Incredible!!! Top notch experience! We were blown away by the staff and all that is included. I am in the wedding industry and have seen many venues, but this is, by far, my favorite! Not only is the Barn at Honeysuckle Hill such a pretty venue, the team is wonderful to work with! Candace is quick to reply and help with questions and was SO understanding with the covid-19 postponement of our reception. We were able to use the venue on our original wedding date at no extra cost, making it such a memorable afternoon. Price is reasonable, especially given that you can host the entire wedding at the same location. Lots of pretty places for pictures! We cannot recommend this venue enough! -

Dream Venue!
My husband and I recently hosted our Welcome Party at the Barn at Honeysuckle the night before our wedding. I cannot say enough about how perfect this venue is. We are from out of town and every single guest was blown away with the beauty the property. Candace, the owner, also made this venue incredible. She is so easy to work with, extremely organized, and just all around an actual angel. She is definitely an extra bonus to this venue. From all of the decor to the incredible property, it really is everything you are looking for to host the perfect event. Whether you are booking this for a special event or a wedding, you will not be disappointed and your guests will also love the character at The Barn at Honeysuckle! Wish I could give 10 stars! -

My daughter and I loved her very memorable wedding at The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill. If given a chance to do it all again, we would choose Honeysuckle Hill.
Candace was always available to take my calls and answer all my many questions. She was always pleasant and patient. Candace is very organized and makes all the wedding planning so simple.
Kathy Beaver is a wonderful photographer! The weather and scenery were so perfect for all the beautiful photography.
The buffet from the Twisted Laurel was delicious. Many of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed their meal. Great food is something all guests will remember.
Also, the banana pudding wedding cake from Dogwood Designs was scrumptious! It really was the best cake we ever ate!
We look forward to going back to beautiful Asheville and reliving all the fond memories of our wedding at Honeysuckle Hill -

I highly recommend Honeysuckle Hill as a wedding venue!! It is a wonderful blend of indoor/outdoor vibes with a beautiful red barn. We were married in the hayloft of the barn (the chapel) with rain trickling down on the tin roof. The sound of rain on the roof was beautiful and is a moment I will never forget. Honeysuckle Hill was the perfect venue for us... close to downtown Asheville and so many things were included from tables and chairs to beautiful mix matched china. The team was easy to work with and very accommodating. You can have a full DIY wedding to a full on production with vendors that know and love the area. It’s a win win. I loved every moment of it and so thankful we chose Honeysuckle Hill for our big day!!! -

Candace is a true professional who is an expert at executing the Wedding of your dreams! Our Daughter was married April 6, 2019.
The Venue was perfect! We had so many compliments on the setting and facility! The sun light coming through the barn / chapel was magical! Any issues that came up, Candace calmly and expertly had a solution. There were minimal issues since she helped us plan every detail as our 60 day and day of planner / coordinator. We highly recommend Candace and The Barn at Honey Suckle Hill, you will not be disappointed. -

My husband and I always knew we wanted to have our wedding in Asheville. However, we did not realize when the day came that we would be living abroad and unable to scout venues ourselves. Luckily, my mother in law was up for the task making appointments across all the major venues in the Asheville area.
She visited Honeysuckle Hill and immediately sent us a message to say I THINK I FOUND THE ONE. She was very impressed with space - a beautiful red barn, rustic indoor chapel, large grounds, and lily pond. What was even better was the venues owner Candace also owns Mingle Events & Vintage Rentals and Engaged Asheville. She has years or experience planning and designing weddings and bringing together the wedding vendor community to work together as one unit!
This was a big plus for us as planning a wedding from abroad we could not spend a lot of time vetting vendors.
When we were able to visit the space while home for the holidays we were SO happy! Candace was also wonderful allowing different family members (Mom, sister, etc.) to stop by to see the venue during different visits. As we had a lot of help from our family to make the day come together it was super helpful that they could check out the space.
The space is gorgeous on its own and is very warm and inviting. We worked with Candace and the Mingle team to hand pick the vendor dream vendor to make our unique vision come to life. We had beautiful flowers from Smash Events Inc. who were also our caterers as well as bespoke lettering by JoyUnscripted. We also added personal elements through picture displays that Candace helped us set up with vintage touches from Mingle Vintage Rentals.
We were so happy we chose Honeysuckle Hill as our wedding day was absolutely amazing! The sunlight shining through the old tobacco barn during the ceremony to an open cocktail hour with enough space for kids to run around a family and friends to catch up without being squished into a room. Before the wedding, we had never had a change to visit the space at night and it COMES ALIVE. The soft lighting and grey wood has a warm glow. As well as the patio and fire pit provide a dance floor reprieve and the perfect space for conversation. We were able to easily fit our 150 guests and have something for everyone.
Final plus (that I think it sometimes overlooked) is the venue is easy to navigate! If you have older guests or anyone relying on support from a cane or walker, they do not have to worry about navigating steps or hills on the property.
Thank you again Candace - we had the most beautiful day at Honeysuckle Hill! Thank you for making our dream a reality and for all your hard work coordinating with us from Europe.

Cricket Sent on 09/18/2018Honeysuckle Hill is an AMAZING place for a wedding! I had looked at many places for our daughter's September wedding, but wasn't 100% on anything, until I saw HH! I brought my daughter to look at it and she was sold; she didn't need to see anything else. It was just perfect. We did the "all inclusive" package and it was worth every penny. I had heard so many stories from other friends who, by the time their daughter's weddings had arrived, were so stressed out, exhausted and weren't even able to enjoy the wedding. This was NOT the case for us at all. Candace Hightower, the owner of HH, is beyond amazing. She has fully vetted out vendors who are reliable, fun, professional and beyond talented. Picking from her people was such an easy process, everyone was seriously beyond great to work with and although it's still a lot of work to plan a wedding, this process was a true joy of a journey! I cannot recommend The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill enough. It's not just a beautiful place, it was a beautiful experience, the entire way. Emily was our wedding co-ordinator and she totally rocked it! On the day of the wedding, everything was covered so that we as a family could enjoy the day. They kept telling me that even as the Mother of the Bride, I would be a guest at the wedding and it was so true. We felt so loved and cared for and the day was perfect. :)
