We had an incredible experience at the Barn at Blackstone National in Sutton! We traveled all over New England to check out multiple venues for our wedding, and from the first moment we walked into that beautiful space, the Barn venue and staff blew them all away. (Did you know some other barn venues don’t even offer indoor plumbing for your guests?!)
Kate was so patient and attentive and flexible. I have health issues and required special accommodations, and even at the tasting, Kate worked with the chef and went the extra mile to ensure my every need was met.
On the day of our wedding, Kate was prepared with contingencies for EVERY concern. This gem of a woman literally ripped off her jacket to shield us when an unexpected storm popped up during our private vows!
We planned and prepped for months, and we still NEEDED someone like Kate to guide things along and execute the vision and hopes we had.
She was so kind and supportive. Everyone should have someone like Kate to share their special day!
Our guests are still commenting on the beautiful space and the incredible food!

We chose The Barn because we immediately felt how welcoming and understanding the staff were. From the beginning, they genuinely wanted us to be happy and encouraged us to make the day our own — never questioning our choices and always supporting our vision.
Our day-of coordinator, Kate, was absolutely amazing. She was on top of every detail and made sure the entire day ran seamlessly. Thanks to her and the rest of the wonderful team, everything was perfectly on time, and we were able to relax and truly enjoy the day.
The food was incredible! We attended a tasting event in the spring for our fall wedding, and both times everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ food restrictions and allergies, which meant a lot to us.
The venue itself was absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding. Having Kate as our coordinator made the experience even more special. Although it was a small celebration, she felt like a friend by our side, ensuring everything went smoothly. We couldn’t be more grateful to The Barn and their entire team for helping create such a beautiful, memorable day. -

Choosing The Barn at Blackstone National for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. When our original venue unexpectedly fell through, we were devastated and stressed about what would happen next. From the very first phone call, the Barn staff welcomed us with so much kindness and reassurance, and to our surprise and relief, they were able to secure our same date. That moment turned everything around for us and set the tone for an amazing experience.
From start to finish, our coordinator Alyson was absolutely incredible. She was organized, attentive, and truly cared about making sure our day was perfect. She took the time to listen to our ideas, answer our endless questions, and calmly guide us through the entire process. On the wedding day itself, she and the staff made sure every single detail went smoothly so we could relax and just enjoy being present.
The Barn at Blackstone National isn’t just beautiful (though the grounds and barn truly are stunning)—it’s also such a thoughtful, all-inclusive venue. That made planning so much easier and far less overwhelming. We didn’t have to juggle multiple vendors or worry about logistics, because their team handled everything seamlessly.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, the gorgeous setting, and how effortless the entire evening felt. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we owe that entirely to the incredible team at the Barn.
Looking back, we know that our wedding would not have been as magical or stress-free without them. What could have been a chaotic, stressful situation turned into a dream come true because of their hard work, kindness, and professionalism. We are forever grateful to Alyson and the entire staff at The Barn at Blackstone National for giving us the most unforgettable day. When we were searching for a wedding venue, we wanted a place that felt intimate, timeless, and effortlessly romantic, and we found all that and more at The Barn at Blackstone National. From the moment we first toured the property to our last dance, our experience was absolutely perfect.
The location is incredibly convenient, yet once you're on the property, you feel a world away. The grounds are stunning, providing the ideal backdrop for a wedding where everything happens in one beautiful place. We started with our ceremony in the beautiful outdoor space, followed by an amazing cocktail hour, and then moved into the reception barn. The barn itself is simply gorgeous, and its timeless charm was the perfect canvas for our vision.
What truly elevated our day was the phenomenal staff. They are a well-oiled machine, and our coordinator, Jocelyn, and her team were simply incredible. They were there for anything and everything that came up, providing a sense of calm and assurance throughout the entire day. We never had to worry about a single detail because they had everything under control.
And let's talk about the food! The chef prepared a delicious meal that our guests are still raving about weeks later. We've received countless compliments on the quality and taste of everything. The chef's commitment to excellence was truly shown when she even made fresh cookies for our dessert display after feeling that one of the desserts from our bakery vendor had gone bad. That attention to detail is something we will never forget.

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue—or a better coordinator—than what we found here. From the very beginning, Alyson was an absolute dream to work with. She made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free, always kind, composed, and incredibly helpful. Even with the usual wedding chaos and a forecast that turned into torrential rain, Alyson never once lost her cool. She handled everything with grace and calm, and we genuinely feel like we hit the jackpot having her by our side.
Thanks to her, the day came together perfectly. She played a huge part in creating what truly was the best day of our lives.
The barn itself is stunning, and even though the weather didn’t cooperate, the venue’s gorgeous new pavilion gave us a beautiful backup plan that kept everything feeling magical and cozy. Our guests loved it, and we were so relieved to know we were in such good hands.
Also, the dinner was delicious—we received so many compliments on the food. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and we’re still glowing from the experience.

BOOK NOW!!! Having our wedding at Barn at Blackstone National was the best decision we made. The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the day ran smooth because of everyone's expertise and flexibility. Kate and everyone else at the barn were nothing but kind, patient, helpful, and truly wonderful. Kate was not only a phenomenal day of coordinator but was available for any questions and several VERY helpful meetings leading up to the day. The weather on our day was definitely chaotic and the staff at the barn did everything in their power to help us have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Our day was perfect and I attribute that to the barn and Kate. Excited to visit in the future!!!

We had my sister in laws baby shower here and it was beautiful. Everything went so seamlessly, the bartender and servers were incredibly helpful. Allison was assisting us through every element throughout the day. From the time I got there to set up to leaving Allison ensured everything was great for Morgan and we appreciated her so much! 9.1.24 Wedding
We honestly don’t have enough words or even can find the correct ones to share how PERFECT and incredible this venue is and the team at the barn is! Our wedding we can say truly was a dream come true and we feel so blessed! The wedding venue is absolutely beautiful and we fell in love with it more and more from our first visit to our wedding day! Truly something different than the norm and it does just feel magical -the outside and then when the lights hit as you enter the barn! The outside is incredible with the green grass hills from the golf course, to the newly built pavillion, and all of the secret gem places to take pictures with the photographer -the bridge at sunset, beautiful pond, beautiful wild flowers creating the most beautiful pictures ! The inside becomes so dreamy with the not only the newness and upkeep of the barn but the chandeliers and twinkle lights with as many add ons to choose from -the drapes and little decoration touches the barn can provide make it magical! We are serious when we say our guests kept coming up to us saying how beautiful this wedding was! They were torn to hit the dance floor or hang in the pavillion on our beautiful day :)
The team at the barn as well could not have been better -everyone there from initial contact to the very end couldn’t have been more professional, highly and quickly responsive and communicative, experienced, and kind! Every question went answered and truly every request was made -even until the last minute changes the night before wedding day! Thank you to the Barn Team -a huge shout out to all of the management team, our servers, bartenders, setting up and clean up team-Rebecca on that team thank you for helping us make our vision of the floor plan and changing tables last minute -your hardwork did not go unnoticed as well as your professionalism, kindness, and true care ! Last but certainly not least as she was the GLUE to our wedding, our wedding coordinator Lauren Duquette! She truly is the diamond and asset at the Barn she was the perfect fit for us! She went above and beyond - Her professionalism, experience, communication, and work ethic SHINED from the moment we met her to the end of our wedding-we felt your love and passion not only for what you do but for us and we knew you meant it-I hope you felt our love for you too bc it’s sincere as well! They say on your wedding day something always goes wrong-we’re so blessed bc we couldn’t find one thing-can say it truly was perfect!

From the moment we first reached out to The Barn at Blackstone National, their communication style was quick, detail-oriented, thorough, solution-focused, and genuinely warm. The quality of their work and overall value was simply amazing - the barn provided a beautiful, intimate setting with incredible natural light that made our wedding day feel so special. Lauren and the team went above and beyond, even fixing a last-minute cake issue and taking care of every detail. We shared our vision for the ceremony and reception, and they completely nailed it. The tasting event was one of the best parts of choosing this venue, with the food being absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the teriyaki tips and Tuscan chicken in particular. We recently had our wedding in July at The Barn At Blackstone National, and I can't recommend it highly enough. This venue is an absolute gem—what we loved about it most was our ability to fall in love with it by itself, simply stunning even with no decor. The ambiance was both elegant and rustic, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that our guests are still raving about. One of the standout highlights was the food. It was nothing short of amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food. It was presented beautifully, too! Also- the Barn has the BEST chocolate chip cookies you’ll ever taste and I recommend trying them regardless of what you do for your wedding dessert.
What truly made our day so seamless and stress-free was our incredible wedding coordinator, Kate (Kate the great or the GOAT as well called her). From start to finish, Kate was phenomenal. Her organizational skills were impeccable, and she paid meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. Kate's personable nature and deep knowledge of wedding planning made us feel completely at ease. She was patient and responsive, always ready to address any questions or concerns we had. On the wedding day, she conducted everything flawlessly, allowing us to enjoy every moment with confidence and comfort. We truly are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with everyone at the Barn, but especially Kate.

Beautiful Bridal Shower
The Barn at Blackstone exceeded our expectations for my daughter’s bridal shower! Not only is this venue absolutely stunning, the food and staff were top notch!!! We had a brunch buffet with an omelet buffet that was out of this world delicious!!! Their signature blueberry baked toast was AMAZING!!! The entire staff was just a joy!! They never stopped smiling throughout the event. Jocelyn did everything she could to ensure that the day went as planned and answered every question in a timely manner!! We are so thrilled to have chosen this venue!! I highly recommend The Barn. If you are looking for a venue and staff that will make your special day memorable, look no further!! Breath taking
We chose to have our wedding at The Barn at the Blackstone National and so happy we did! Their staff were amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Kate always answered questions and addressed concerns in a timely manner and was never absent during the process. If we seemed lost or confused with what needed to be done, she would break it down for us so there was no panicking! Kate and Lauren did an incredible job the day of the wedding, keeping things on track, making sure my husband and myself were staying hydrated and fed as well as making sure everything went flawlessly (as you know it can be a little nerve wracking!). We want to thank all of the staff and the The Barn at the Blackstone National for making our special day come true! -

I was the officiant in a wedding on July 30, 2023. So I spent lots of time in the Barn at Blackstone National leading up to and on the wedding day. Kate P (event coordinator) was very helpful, accommodating, and PATIENT. For example, at the rehearsal (basically last minute), the groom, bride, and I decided to have a "Scottish rock ceremony" instead of a unity candle. Not only was this a new addition to the event, none of us had ever experienced or seen one. Kate never protested or worried, and instead presented encouraging ideas to help us pull it off. On the wedding day, Kate was omnipresent helping the wedding party, the event staff, and the DJ. She even played seamstress and helped the Maid of Honor adjust her dress.
The staff I interacted with (at the bar mostly) was friendly and efficient. The food was much better than I expected - it was great! We had a buffet setup with quite a few choices. Everything was professionally served, hot (or cold as appropriate), and the table of 10 that I sat with all commented on how impressed they were.
And the Barn.......WOW! I remember walking in to the Barn on the evening of the rehearsal and being taken back by the scene. The interior lighting, post and bean architecture, the open ambiance, and the windows towards the golf course and woods were stunning (even the bathrooms were nice). On the wedding day, the barn looked great too - all decked out, clean, organized, ready for a party. Having two bars (one inside and one outside) was helpful to spread people out and keep the bar lines reasonable.
Overall, a great place and excellent team for a small or mid-size wedding or other celebration.The Barn at Blackstone National's reply:

Our wedding at the Barn was picture perfect. We worked with Kate at some of our originals tours and then had Jocelyn and Lauren for the detail planning and big day. They were wonderful through the whole process and so prompt to respond and have great attention to detail. They constantly made sure we had everything we needed all day and that we got to try all our wonderful food. Our guests raved about the venue space and the food. We have 79 guests which was a great amount of a nice intimate celebration. Our only regret is how quick the day went by. Highly recommend this venue and their fabulous team.

High School Graduation
We have now hosted both of our children's graduation parties at The Barn. The setting is absolutely magical with beautiful post and beams that soar two levels. The patio overlooking the golf course is perfect for outdoor activities such as corn hole. The food was served on time and exactly as advertised (we recommend the BBQ!). The staff was extremely helpful and diligent while remaining unobtrusive. I highly recommend this venue.The Barn at Blackstone National's reply:

I have nothing nice to say other than the venue is beautiful. THE BATHROOMS DID NOT WORK THE NIGHT OF MY WEDDING AND I DID NOT GET A DIME OF THE 15K WE PAID THEM RETURNED FOR SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. All night....NO BATHROOMS!!!!!!!!The Barn at Blackstone National's reply:

As you know, from speaking with your coordinator, we were very disheartened by the unforeseen incident on your wedding day. There is nothing we want more, and strive to achieve, is for all our couples to have the perfect wedding day with us at our Barn.
Unfortunately, sometimes things do happen that are beyond our control. If something happens, it is now up to our team how they handle it. The choices we make are always the ones that will have the least amount of impact on our couples and their guests.
In your case, as soon as our team found out that during your reception there was an issue, they immediately contacted outside professionals, who arrived on site within the hour. They were able to fix the problem and the restrooms were restored for the remainder of your reception.
During the time the restrooms in the Barn were unable to be utilized, we were able to provide you and your guests with the use of the restrooms in our adjacent clubhouse building. Even though not ideal, we did provide indoor restroom facilities. Our team made every effort to make sure you and your guests were comfortable.
Even though this was the first time an incident like this has happened, we immediately took steps to avoid it happening again within our facility.
We have removed all paper towel dispensers from our restrooms and replaced them with automatic hand dryers. We have also added touchless sanitary napkin systems, in the women’s restroom, with visible signage. Our hopes are these items will be disposed of in the correct way, preventing similar issues in the future.
We were happy to host your wedding at our barn. Your coordinator told us what a magical first dance you had! We look forward to seeing any photos you would like to share.
