I booked The Ashton Depot Catering + Events for our wedding in January 2023. I attended an event at The Ashton Depot back in 2015 and the beauty and memory was kept front in center in my mind since that day. When the day came to search for our own wedding venue, The Ashton Depot was the first place I scheduled to visit, and it was “it” from that day forward. Not only is it a stunning space, but I really appreciated the full service support. I was not interested in managing a lot of vendors so the fact that I only needed to work with a DJ, photographer, bakery, and florist was a blessing. The built in coordinator at The Ashton Depot was a bonus! She was incredibly responsive and supportive during the entire process and the night before added the cornhole games per my dad’s request. When I tell you I did not have to do anything on my wedding day, it was thanks to the organization and professionalism of The Ashton Depot staff.
Our guests raved not only about the space, but the plated meal service was icing on the cake. The process made the timeline so smooth for us, the couple, to enjoy our food and our guests. Everyone thought the food was incredibly and every water glass remained full throughout the entire night. The Bride and Groom have a butler assigned and is always within reach to refill our drinks, guide us to our next activity, and just see that we had everything we needed at all times.
I can’t recommend the Ashton Depot Catering + Events enough. Don’t walk, but run to explore if it’s the right event venue for you.

I give Ashton Depot the highest review! Cindy Vasquez, Chef Cesar Gallegos, and the entire team were wonderful to work with. Cindy was very kind, helpful, and responsive to our questions.
The staff took care of everything from setting up to keeping us on our timeline, providing coordination of their rental items, and taking everything down at the end of the evening. My husband and I, along with our families, did not have to worry about anything; we were in good hands.
The staff exceeded our expectations. Our butler and all the other servers were terrific and very attentive. The synchronized service for dinner was excellent! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, along with the best food.
It is so easy to write this review for Ashton Depot, just thinking back on all the details from our wedding reception just makes me smile! We’re so grateful we were able to book the Ashton Depot for our wedding reception and that our date was available. Thank you to all the staff at Ashton Depot that helped us have the wedding of our dreams! We are FOREVER grateful and will always recommend y’all to everyone we know! -

We had our wedding on a Thursday night because we had to reschedule due to Covid. The servers and staff made the event flawless. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend the Ashton Depot! -

From the first venue tour to the wedding day, Cindy and the entire staff at Ashton Depot made our wedding an absolute dream. We ended up having to postpone due to the pandemic and they made it simple and smooth. We picked a new date and they kept us in the loop with new guidelines to make sure we never had any uncertainties. The food was unbelievable, the space is gorgeous and the staff is exemplary. I cannot recommend Ashton Depot enough!! -

We had our February 2020 wedding reception at Ashton Depot and could not be happier with our choice! They were the only venue we looked at and we were sold immediately! Everybody was amazing to work with from our initial tour to our tasting to the night of. It looked absolutely beautiful. At the reception, they not only took care of me and my husband, but also our parents. My FIL even apologized to my husband's BIL for not having a butler for his parents at their wedding! We chose to do food stations and the hardest part was narrowing it down! We wish we could have eaten more of it! They did make sure my husband and I got a plate during cocktail hour but we were too excited to eat very much. Everybody raved about the food and drinks as well (our signature cocktails were the pomegranate margarita and TX Whiskey Smash). The staff was super responsive and accommodating leading up to the wedding with our last minute changes to the guest count. They also let us have until the very last minute to decide whether or not to tent the courtyard (we decided not to and the weather ended up perfect). We could not recommend them more! -

The Ashton Depot was truly a five star wedding experience. The staff were happy to work with us and experts in their field. They were flexible and offered us many options to make our big day one of a kid. The food, drinks, decorations, organization, and service was amazing. Our reception went flawlessly, our staff catered to our needs (bride and groom) as well as all of our parents' needs all night long, and made our night truly magical. It was an honor to work with this business and I would highly recommend hosting your wedding reception here. You will not be disappointed. -

A Dream Venue!
The moment we walked into Ashton Depot we knew it was where we wanted to host our big day! Ashlee and her team are SUCH a pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire process they always made me feel special and recognized, and not just like I was another bride they were shuffling through the motions with. They were patient and understanding with all of my changes, questions, and requests. The food was absolutely out of this world and I love bragging on this amazing venue! -

Y’all, this vintage train station with original marble flooring is stunning. We receive compliments STILL on how beautiful of an evening it was. Best part is too that the in-house chef, Caesar, is absolutely AMAZING. They grow all herbs on the premises in a garden which makes for fresh looking and tasting food. By far the best choice we could’ve made for a venue. -

The Ashton Depot was Perfect!
The Ashton Depot was the perfect place for our morning ceremony and brunch reception. The natural light and character of this historic venue made for a really beautiful setting. Plus, it was a great back drop for our photos :)
Cindy and team were a dream to work with. Cindy was super kind and responsive with my many questions and I couldn't believe how smoothly our wedding day went. Cindy and Miguel kept us on track throughout the day and neither our families or my new husband or I had to worry about a thing. We got tons of compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was too.
I had initially planned to have the ceremony outside, but due to weather concerns moved the ceremony inside and have to say that it worked perfectly getting married inside as well, although the courtyard is lovely too.
Thanks again Cindy and team for helping to make my wedding day such an amazing day! -

Wedding Reception on December 29, 2018
The Ashton Depot is a BEAUTIFUL venue for a wedding reception! Our son and daughter-in-law were married in the Philippines, and we needed a SPECIAL, intimate place for a wedding reception for family and friends coming in from as far as Seattle, WA, to Yuma, Az, to Chicago, IL to list a few. Having three sons, we had NO idea how to go about planning this. Cindy Vasquez was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! She was even in touch with us during her maternity leave! The vendor list is one you can count on! The staff is absolutely the best! The food is like no other you will ever taste. We were PROUD to have our reception at The Asthon Depot. We are hearing compliments daily. THANK YOU CINDY VASQUEZ, MIGUEL, AND CHEF! -

We're so glad we found the Ashton Depot for our wedding reception. What we liked most is that they provide full service, so we didn't have to rent many things from other vendors. They were friendly and the venue is gorgeous! The chef is amazing and we got so many raves from our guests about the dinner that we served. -
Kristin Sent on 08/11/2018The Ashton Depot is a dream location to have a wedding. We chose it because they took care of so much on location. We had both the ceremony and reception there and they easily transitioned between the two while our guest enjoyed drinks and appetizers on the patio. Prior to the wedding Cathy was communicative and made sure everything was in line for the day of. At the wedding Miguel was amazingly on top of everything, ensuring that everything happened when and how it was supposed to, coordinating with our DJ and caring for each individual guest to make sure everyone was having a great time! The food was AMAZING and the synchronized service was so cool! They cooked exactly what we wanted and it was delicious. I received SO many compliments from our guests saying that it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to!

My guests still compliment all of the food and that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. In my opinion, this venue is worth every penny. It is pricy, but everything they do is high quality and thoughtful. I am so happy with our decision to go with The Ashton Depot.

Lauren Sent on 06/02/2016Hands down one of the best decisions in wedding planning! From the very start everyone here was so accommodating and helpful. The venue itself is gorgeous, but everything that comes with booking The Ashton Depot pushes your wedding above and beyond. The in-house chef Caesar is SO talented and will work to customize a dinner and hor d'oeuvres that is special and unique for the couple. The tasting that we did with the chef and our planner was SO much fun, and they really work with you to create exactly what you want. I honestly can’t tell you how many guests we had RAVING about the food. It was beautifully presented, HOT, and absolutely delicious… which is hard to do at a wedding of 200 people! Not to mention the synchronized serving so that everyone at your table gets served at the same time! Our planner Alexa was also a dream to work with (unfortunately for you she changed jobs just before our wedding, but she was kind enough to come back for our wedding just to make sure our day went perfectly! That is the kind of service you get here!!) She made sure we were able to come drop off décor and such on the Thursday before the wedding so that we didn’t have to rush around Friday before the rehearsal/nail appointments/etc., which helped with our schedule SO much! And then lastly, the day of the wedding. Manuel is a SAINT! This man went out of his way to make sure EVERYTHING went perfectly. From setting up that morning, to running the show, to making sure Dan and I, our parents, and our wedding party was always taken care of… food, drinks, cake, everything! At the end of the night my parents didn't have to lift a finger. He made sure all of our gifts were packed in their car and cleaned everything up. You truly get A+ service at this venue and I can’t recommend it enough. The building is stunning, but the staff is what truly sets this venue apart! -

Summer Sent on 12/23/2015WOW, JUST WOW! The Ashton Depot was the perfect atmosphere for our reception. From our wonderful contact, Cindy, the coordinator, Manuel, and our wonderful "butler", who made sure we ate, had drinks the whole night, and told us where to be, The Ashton Depot was on point. The whole process of having our reception there was so easy and so accommodating. We had about 250 guests, and it was just the perfect size. AND THE FOOD!!!! The food is just insanely good. All of our guests had hot, delicious plates that were so flavorful--Chef Caesar is a magician. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Love The Ashton Depot. LOVE IT. -

Guests are still talking about it! I was able to have the wedding of my dreams bc I chose the Ashton Depot!
