The team over at The Artistic Whisk was absolutely amazing! I could not make the meeting with them, so my husband designed the cake with Sara. It was the most beautiful surprise when I walked into our reception. An even bigger surprise is that the chocolate cake tasted EXACTLY like the chocolate cake my husband's late grandmother used to make.The Artistic Whisk's reply:

The Artistic Whisk was absolutely amazing to work with! We got married on St. Pete Beach, but we live in Austin. Luckily for us, The Artistic Whisk ships wedding cake samples across the country so you can do a wedding cake tasting from your own home! We were so happy to be able to have a wedding cake tasting even though we couldn't be there in person, and we had a blast trying all of the delicious and creative flavors. The hardest part was choosing just one flavor from their extensive selection, but after much deliberation, we settled on the lemon with raspberry basil jam—and it was an absolute triumph! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. The Artistic Whisk far exceeded all of our expectations!! -

Look no farther for your dream wedding cake!
We are so happy to have found The Artistic Whisk to be our cake vendor for our destination wedding to Tampa! Arlene and her team totally captured our vision for a timeless, beachy, and elegant wedding cake. She was very responsive and attentive to detail when designing our cake. We went with the Lemon Cake with Raspberry Basil Jam which was DELICIOUS! All o the flavors really came out in her cake and you can taste the freshness in all of the ingredients used. I would highly recommend The Artistic Whisk for anyone looking for the BEST cake or desserts for their event! If we lived in Florida, I would definitely choose them over and over again. Our cake was not only delicious but also so beautiful! I wanted a simple, classic, white cake with a little texture. The Artistic Whisk gave me exactly what I wanted! We were able to taste eight samples of cake and they were all so good. We went with the lemon flavor, and got so many compliments on the cake. It was a perfect light lemon flavor for a Florida wedding!
Our cake was included in our venue package and The Artistic Whisk was the best and perfect option for us. They were very accommodating for us, who are from Chicago. They also have dairy free options which was great for my lactose intolerant husband. They made the top layer of the cake dairy free for us! -

From day one working with The Artistic Whisk we loved everything about them. We were able to pick up our samples at their shop within a day or so of selecting them online. We selected from ten different choices and everyone of them were delicious. In the end we went more of a traditional route with the Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Chocolate. We asked if they could custom design the coloring of the cake to match the beach and sunset and they hit it out of the park. The first time I saw the cake besides the drawing was when we walked in for the reception. Every detail was perfect. When the cake was served we were able to grab a slice of the vanilla while the rest was being cut. Once the chocolate layer was cut my side of the family started to ask my wife questions about the recipe. She referred my cousin to me and asked if I had tasted the chocolate cake yet. I asked him why and he said, "Did you give them Grandma's recipe? This is her chocolate cake." I took one bite and it almost brought tears to my eyes. The flavor was spot on to a family tradition. I can not express how much my family loved the cake and how it made it feel like my Grandmother was able to be there with us. I would order this cake again any day of the week just to have that moment again. The service of The Artistic Whisk was as top notch as their cakes. 11/10 would recommend is not enough.The Artistic Whisk's reply:

The wedding cake was so perfect, and so were the cupcakes! They even made a dairy free one for my niece with a dairy allergy! We ended up with too much cake and cupcakes. The only way we could have fixed this was having a second meeting closer to the day of the wedding.The Artistic Whisk's reply:

Very professional and quick responding from beginning to end, thank you Courtney! My fiancé and I were insistent on wanting a fun-fetti style wedding cake and of course that is not a usual menu offering. They were happy to accommodate and it came out even more delicious than we could have hoped for. I was very unsure about how I wanted the cake decorated and the team at artistic whisk helped me come up with the perfect design.

The Artistic Whisk exceeded our expectations in every way! We ordered a three-tier cake for our wedding with two flavors: Chocolate Chocolate and White Almond Raspberry. Each was INCREDIBLE! Our guests raved about how delicious both flavors were. Many got second or third servings because the cake was just that good! It's been a week since our wedding, and I'm already craving another slice.
The cake design was also beautiful!! They achieved my exact vision for the cake. I was a little breathless when I first saw it at my wedding reception because it was so stunning. The design process with Jovanna was easy and enjoyable.
We also ordered chocolate bon bons for our wedding favors, and our guests raved about these as well! They were a delicious little treat, and the gold dusting on the outside made the bons bons as pretty as they were tasty.
In all, I highly recommend the Artistic Whisk. I believe they are the best wedding cake bakery in the Tampa Bay area!The Artistic Whisk's reply:

We LOVED our wedding cake!
We ordered a cake with Artistic Whisk for our wedding 11/6/2021 at the Sirata Beach Resort, and we absolutely LOVED it!! The cake's decoration was stunning and it tasted fantastic. We ordered the key lime blueberry and it was such a hit! One of the best tasting cakes I have ever had. I also wanted to mention that communication and planning with this company was very easy and it made the process super smooth. I would definitely recommend to any couple getting married! Or for any other occasion :) -

Cake Design & taste was wonderful!
We worked with Candy. She was so pleasant & always willing to help. The cake itself was amazing! The design was just what we were hoping for an aviation design. Still obsessed!
I don’t even know where to start! My cake was STUNNING. I could not stop walking over it it to look at it! It completely exceeded my expectations and again was STUNNING. My mom handled all of the communication and could not stop talking about how nice and understanding (had to postpone so many times) Candy was! So many compliments from how it looked to how it tasted! We got two cakes. One for rehearsal and one for the reception because they were JUST THAT GOOD. Artistic whisk recreated our inspo pic perfectly and it tasted phenomenal.
They have so many different flavors to choose from and let me tell you: they are all delicious. Our cake tasting had about 10 different slices of flavors. I don't know how they made mango passionfruit taste good in a cake but man, they NAILED it.The Artistic Whisk's reply:

Our experience as amazing. First we had a very cool virtual cake tasting where we got to pick up 5 flavors. Each flavor had a YouTube video to go over each one. From there, we filled out an electronic form that was sent to the artistic whisk. A few days later we had a virtual appointment to go over our wants for the wedding cake. We discussed flavors design pricing etc. Our cake designer was able to draw a sketch based on our vision photos. We selected our 2 favorite flavors - (red velvet and lemon cream)! We were able to pay electronically and when I saw the cake for the first time at the wedding it was even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined! It was so moist, flavorful and all of our guests loved it!!! We had some left over and the next day we pulled it out and shared it with the guests still in town! They even took some home. It was so delicious. I will forever be ordering my cakes and desserts from the Artistic Whisk!The Artistic Whisk's reply:

Best wedding cake ever!
BEST WEDDING CAKE EVER! I am obsessed with our wedding cake! It was perfect with hand painted buttercream flowers and delicious flavors! The balance of cake to filling and frosting was balanced perfectly! We had chocolate and raspberry that had nice bold flavors and then orange creamsicle which had much lighter flavors. Also, I love that I got a painting of my wedding cake! It was such a nice surprise that I can keep for years to come! I will probably be ordering from them for other cakes as well for years to come. I first came across The Artistic Whisk at the Tampa Bridal Show held at Amalie Arena. I stopped in my tracks at one of their display cakes which was a beautiful geode. The sample I grabbed was a chocolate cake with mint icing. Yummy! When we met with our photographer, he asked if we needed any suggestions for other wedding vendors. When we got to cakes, he mentioned Jovana at The Artistic Whisk, so my husband and I reached out to them online about scheduling a tasting.
This was all done Pre-Covid so we were able to meet Jovana at the bakery, and she had a beautiful spread of their cake flavors for us to try along with a sheet listing all the flavors. It was such a difficult choice! Every flavor was delicious – perfectly balanced cake and icing flavors that were never overly sweet. Jovana was super sweet and helpful! You can tell she knows her ingredients, flavor combinations, and uses only the best for her business. My husband and I wanted a simple two-tier cake for photos and the “anniversary layer” with cupcakes for all our guests. Jovana is the one who came up with our cupcake design to compliment my vision of a simple, white iced cake. She drew the design and we received the quote less than a week later. The price is definitely worth the taste and artistry that is The Artistic Whisk.
We chose two flavors – chocolate peanut butter (my husband’s all time favorite) and orange creamsicle. Orange creamsicle tasted like childhood memories and a great Florida flavor! We got half of the cupcakes in each flavor, our anniversary tier in orange creamsicle, and the cutting layer in chocolate peanut butter. We never saw the cake or cupcakes until our wedding day. The cupcakes were so cute - decorated in a simple fall theme (our wedding scheme) to compliment the cake. And everything was DELICIOUS! Our guests raved about the cupcakes! Trusting in The Artistic Whisk was the best decision! -

Absolute Art
The minute we tasted The Artistic Whisk’s cake we were both transported back to Europe. When we met with Jovana for our tasting, listening to her explain how she bakes using the traditional European style, with natural ingredients, allowing them to sing without being overly sweet, we were sold. She patiently went through every cake flavor and then every inspiration picture we brought in. Then, she drew up a sketch of all the details we asked for and it was perfect. The final product on the day was a breathtaking masterpiece. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a traditional cake style in the most creative and modern flavors and adornments.The Artistic Whisk's reply:

Artistic Whisk is absolutely the best. Everything they made is DIVINE! The tasting blew all the other tastings away both in presentation and in taste. She is so good at helping you design a cake, and the flavors are so so yummy. We used them for our Bridal Shower and ordered a cake, mini cheesecakes, and cake pops (all delicious) and for our wedding cake. Unfortunately our wedding was the week everything was beginning to shut down for COVID-19, but they worked with us to downscale our cake and still make our dreams come true. I would DEFINITELY book them for every event/wedding I could and dream of their cakes (yes seriously they are that good). You will be so happy with your choice if you use them! -

A Work of Art!!
The Artistic Whisk was the best choice ever for my wedding cake. Words cannot describe the perfection, the beauty, and how this team was literally able to transfer what I had only described in words into a true vision. Our custom cake flavor was absolutely delicious, and the team worked really hard to ensure every detail was just right. We had 3 flavors at our wedding, and guests were commenting about how delicious all of them tasted--but also, on the sheer gorgeous "work of art" that was this cake. I cannot tell you how many people came up to talk to me about this show-stopper. It was absolutely perfect, the team was so sweet and helpful during the entire process, and I honestly feel like more than a customer. The ingredients were natural, which is hugely important to us as well, and you can taste the difference. We cannot wait to eat our anniversary tier to remember how delicious it was the first time!! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect centerpiece for a perfect day!! -

The Artistic Whisk was one of the recommended cake vendors by our venue, the Florida Aquarium. Before our wedding cake tasting, I had the opportunity to taste their cake at two previous events and my husband tried them at one event. We fell in love with how fresh and light the cake tasted. Although they are a bit pricier than other local vendors, they are worth every penny!! They take pride in using the highest quality ingredients and after tasting cakes from other local vendors, we could both tell the difference and decided to schedule an official cake tasting with them. My husband does not like overly sweet buttercream frostings and preferred the Swiss Meringue buttercream frosting due to its light and fluffy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. At the cake tasting, they provided us with 15 different delicious and unique flavor combinations, making it extremely difficult to choose just two flavors for our three-tiered cake! We decided to go with a lemon cream cake for the top tier and bottom tier and a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for the middle tier. After selecting our flavors, the baker that was at our taste-testing started to draft a drawing of our cake and helped us pick our designs and a cake stand to rent based on our preferences. Our guests enjoyed our cake so much, they were trying both flavors at our wedding and we received so many compliments not only regarding the taste but their beautiful design as well. Since we had our wedding at the Florida Aquarium, we had a little bit of a penguin theme and decided to order custom cake toppers online. Our cake toppers worked out perfectly with the design of the cake! Everyone we worked with was very kind, friendly and helpful! We highly recommend this company and splurging a little because their cakes are well worth the price!

I feel so lucky to have found the Artistic Whisk to design and bake our wedding cake. I met with Jovana to go over our design and discuss my inspiration pictures. We picked pieces of four pictures that we liked, and she drew up our dream cake. When my invitations were complete, I mailed them a copy so they could pick exact colors to incorporate. They florist provided flowers for the Artistic Whisk to place on the cake. The flowers were a part of the drawing and everything came out exactly how I wanted. Besides the design, the cake tasted amazing. We went with a chocolate strawberry and an orange creamsicle alternating flavors between the tiers. I am obsessed with how the cake turned out. If you live in the greater Tampa/ST. Pete area, choose the Artistic Whisk, you wont regret it! -

Delicious and Beautiful
The Artistic Whisk creates both the most beautiful cakes and the most delicious cakes in the Tampa area. I had two flavors of cake: Strawberry champaign and cannoli. Both flavors were SO delicious. In addition, Jovana, the owner, really listened to what I wanted and worked with me to make sure that she created the most spectacular cake I had ever seen. Jovana and her team are artists. They crafted a nine tier cake covered with sugar flowers that looked real. I was blown away by the attention to detail and the amazing result. In addition, everyone at the Artistic Whisk was a joy to work with! -

The Artistic Whisk did an amazing job with our wedding cake last month. We tried cakes at numerous other bakeries and they weren’t even close to the deliciousness of The Artistic Whisk! I’ve never been much of a dessert person, but their cakes won me over! Our cake tasting with Jovana was amazing and we loved so many of the flavors that it was hard to decide which to choose for our wedding day. The cake was gorgeous and just what I envisioned! Unfortunately, our anniversary tier got destroyed on our wedding day, at no fault of The Artistic Whisk, but Jovana is so sweet and has offered to make us a replacement!! We got numerous compliments from our wedding guests that it was the best wedding cake and/or cake in general that they had ever eaten! Do yourself a favor and book a tasting with The Artistic Whisk!! You won’t believe how good it is! -

Beautiful and Delicious!
The Artistic Whisk was amazing! They were so professional and prompt in their responses. We had a wonderful experience during the tasting that we even ordered an additional cake from them for another event because it was so delicious. The bakers are true artists! They sketched up our cake while we were sitting there! It was amazing to see ideas come to life on paper! Each layer was a different flavor and all of the flavors were delicious! You can't go wrong with any of them! The cake was absolutely beautiful and all of my guests raved about how amazing it was! They said it was the most tasty wedding cake they had ever had! Oh my goodness! Jovana and her team are phenomenal! From reading the reviews and seeing the photos, we knew we wanted to work with The Artistic Whisk. Once we took our first bite at the tasting we knew we were in the right place. They offer so many delicious flavors that it was almost too hard to pick just the two for our cake. Jovana took our inspiration pictures and made a sketch of our own perfect cake, while staying in budget. The cakes are made from the best ingredients and each one is made with love - hands down our favorite cake ever (and our guests loved it as well). We ended up losing the cake stand we rented, but The Artistic Whisk worked with us to contact our coordinator while we were away on our honeymoon (and they were even gracious enough to wait until we got back from our honeymoon and could send a check). Wonderful experience!!!
I loved working with this company so much. The staff are all so professional, friendly, and answered every question I had!! I knew I wanted to hire them since I sat down for the tasting!! It was all so delicious we couldn’t pick just one flavor! Our cake was simple and elegant for winter. We had apple spice and pumpkin spice tiers. Wonderful experience and DELICIOUS cake!
I went to a Tampa bridal show shortly after I had got engaged, having absolutely no concrete details planned for my big day other than who’d be at the other end of the aisle. After I left, the one detail I knew for sure was that whatever day and whatever place it would be, The Artistic Whisk would be making our wedding cake!
Everything from their team to their incredible and extensive flavor options, they completely wowed us. Our tasting was so much fun, and when we wanted to try a flavor that wasn’t on the menu of pre-set options, they still found a way for us to try it.
It was delicious, beautiful, and so much fun working with them! If they ever still need that out of state tester for cake pop shipments, we’re your people :)

The Artistic Whisk has everything you want in a vendor! They make absolutely delicious cakes, which are made very differently than most other bakeries (and you can taste the difference!). I recently got.married on January 19, 2019. I first met Jovana back in December 2017 at the Tampa Wedding expo at the Tampa Convention Center. I had already googled Artistic Whisk and fell iin love with how her cakes looked bit tasting several samples at the expo was when I knew I found my baker. The entire experience was amazing, the cake tasting, deciding on 2 flavors when I couldn't make up my mind on 1, and the design of the cake. Jovana took my.winter wonderland theme and totally put that into my cake. The flavors rum roasted pineapple and Bailey's macadamia were alternated between the 5 tier masterpiece. Yummy, yummy get in my tummy!
Our vegan vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting were SOOOO delicious! The Artistic Whisk did such a great job... our guests raved about our cupcakes! The Artistic Whisk was one of the only vendors with 10+ vegan flavors to pick from. We were SO happy with how everything turned out! -

Tiffany Sent on 07/10/2018From the start, the Artistic Whisk was absolutely amazing! I first met Jovana at a bridal show and absolutely LOVED her cakes. I knew I HAD to have her! I finally scheduled a cake tasting and was not disappointed! Jovana does all of her cake tastings and she does such a fabulous job! She is super sweet and gives you so many options to choose from! I just adore her! My now husband and I decided on Strawberries & Champagne and Salted Caramel for our cake and then we ordered Strawberries & Champagne gluten free cupcakes for a few of my guests! We also went over design for the cake, she was so talented and had such great ideas! My cake turned out better than I could have imagined! Not only in the way it look but also the taste! You can't beat the subtle taste of her flavors. They aren't overpowering and won't make you feel sick from the sweetness! She uses all natural ingredients and I can tell you, picking out the two flavors we did choose were very difficult! I can't say enough about The Artistic Whisk!

Davina Sent on 06/12/2018We had such a great experience working with Jovana for our wedding cake. The tasting was phenomenal, every flavor was so delicious and it was hard to narrow it down! We were happy to find out we could select two flavors and we ended up choosing key lime blueberry and lemon with raspberry basil. I was undecided on exactly what I wanted for the cake design - I liked decorative cakes with scrolls but I also liked a more simple look of horizontal buttercream lines with flowers. Jovana proposed that we could integrate both on the cake - I was a little unsure but when she sketched it out it looked pretty and I trusted her vision. Seeing the cake on our wedding day was so exciting, it was even more beautiful than I imagined! We received so many compliments on the flavors from our wedding guests. If I ever need a cake in the future I will definitely be returning to Artistic Whisk. I highly recommend Jovana and her team!!

They are hands down the one vendor from my wedding that I would recommend the MOST in the Tampa Bay area. We had a normal/pretty cake in the front, but asked for Stitch to destroy the cake in the back as a surprise. We even mentioned other details like frosting marbling and a purple geode - and she made it happen! The stitch request was pretty vague, but they absolutely NAILED IT. The pictures speak for themselves. Oh, and she had some of the best flavors I tried during cake tastings - especially the almond raspberry :) Absolutely 100% worth all the money.

Nevar Sent on 04/04/2018I LOVED MY CAKE! Jovanna is the sweetest person and so is her mother, they make the cake process so easy. I don't like cake but I fell in love with ours. It was a perfectly unique design for our St. Patrick's Day wedding and the flavors were incredible, we did Mango/Passionfruit and Bananas Foster! We also had gluten free cupcakes made for some of our guests.

The tasting was phenomenal - I chose key lime blueberry and mint chocolate chip for the two flavors - they were so good! European style so richer flavor than we are used to here in America. Loved them!

Jovana is simply amazing! She and her mom were fantastic to work with. They were very responsive and helpful.
We gave Jovana our vision and she nailed it! She is passionate and obviously loves what she does. We couldn’t have picked anyone better to make the cake for our special day. Her flavors are delicious and the best part is that she uses natural ingredients, not flavorings.

Lauren Sent on 12/05/2017The Artistic Whisk is amazing. I can honestly tell you that before our cake tasting I did not care for cake. I actually did not even want a wedding cake. Let me tell you that my opinion completely changed. I took my mom, husband, and mother in law to the tasting with me. Lets just say that we all loved the cakes SO much that we got 4 different flavors of cake for the wedding cake. Then I proceeded to have Artistic Whisk make cakes for both of my bridal showers. One of which I drove down to Boca Raton. In addition, the week of the wedding I had them make my mother in law a birthday cake and cupcakes. You can definitely say I am a cake convert and a customer for life!!! Thank you!! I can also say that our photographer was in love with our cake because she took many photos of it!

Not to mention it was absolutely delicious, we had bananas foster, chocolate chocolate, and run roasted pineapple coconut. We are actually sad we have to wait until our 1 year anniversary to eat it again! They were also completely understanding and patient with me through the planning process. They are the best! -

We ended up choosing strawberries and champagne and orange creamsicle. I would not have changed one thing!!! I will definitely use them in the future for birthdays, anniversaries, and other events! -

Amber Sent on 10/26/2017Cake is my absolute favorite part of any wedding. It's not a success without the perfect dessert accompaniment! So I spent alot of time looking for the perfect decorator with amazing flavors. What I found was most bakers don't give you alot of time- most that I contacted either didn't contact me back or took weeks to contact me, and most of them didn't impress me with their decorating skill. Then I found The Artistic Whisk on Wedding Wire. Lu Ann answered me right away, and was always there to respond to me when I had questions. But the best part was the cake- all natural, all delicious, and beautiful just as a slice on a plate! I don't think there's a better baker in Central Florida- Jovana's creations are the best! And her decorating skills are killer- my cake looked just like my dress! They also did vegan cupcakes for a friend at the wedding, and macaron favors for us (and all was amazing!). I could not have had a better experience than what I had with Artistic Whisk, and I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work on and around my perfect day!

She offered a personalized, free taste testing in her shop with a TON of unique, one-of-a-kind flavors. She walked us through the process and worked with us every step of the way to make sure our cake was exactly right. We went with two flavors - chocolate ganache and salted caramel - our guests went NUTS for both! When our wedding was moved up a day because of Hurricane Irma, Jovana and her team still managed to get us the cake on time. She helped me chose the perfect cake topper so that we could have cats on our cake, while keeping it classy. She is the absolute best and I cannot recommend her enough!!

My husband and I went to her location for the tasting and she had any flavor you could imagine! We decided to do 3 different flavors of cupcakes, the orange creamsicle, chocolate peanut butter, and chocolate mint! She uses all natural ingredients and her cakes are amazing! Jovanna is a very professional and creative cake designer. Her presentation and taste is what won us over. We did a few tastings before going to visit the Artistic Whisk and they were by far the best. Very professional set up when you walk in and they let you taste ALL of their offerings to choose from. We were blown away when we saw the final product, I can't wait to use them again for the next special occasion!
