Amazing Photographers

Eric and Greg were phenomenal to work with. They were friendly, professional, and easy to spend several hours with. More importantly, they took absolutely stunning photographs. We were so thrilled with how they were able to so beautifully capture the day for us. They didn't focus on posed, cheesy photos - instead, they captured unique, special moments which is exactly what we wanted. Nicest guys, and we would recommend them to everyone.

Amazing eye for detail

The Artist Group did a phenomenal job on our wedding day. My husband and I were blown away with all of the photos. Matt truly has a great eye for detail and really amazed us with some of the shots he was able to capture. In addition to Matt, we also had Greg as a second photographer and Phil as a videographer. They were like a well-oiled machine and were able to capture various perspectives, never getting in the way of one another’s shots. The whole team also had us cracking up the entire day and truly made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. Thanks to the Artist Group, we will be able to cherish and relive our wedding day for all of the years to come. Now the only hard part is going to be picking out our favorites.

Amazing pictures

I had honestly the best experience with the Artist Group, I worked with Eric and Gustavo that day and they made it so fun (even though it was FREEZING out), The pictures turned out amazing and they got them back to me so quick! HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding!

My husband and I recently got married this past August, and was recommended to check out The Artist Group. Let me just say from the start it was the best decision we made! First I called and dealt with a gentleman named Matthew who was super helpful and helped us pick the best package for our day! Once our wedding day got closer we dealt we Eric, who again was just as helpful! Eric helped us decide on a timeline for the day which took a lot of stress away from me.

The day of the wedding we met our videographer Phil, who was absolutely perfect for us! He was so kind and professional! He knew exactly what to do as soon as he got there and wasted no time getting great footage that I didn’t even think about. Right from there I knew we were in amazing hands. Throughout the day Phil was very easy to work with, he made everything feel so natural! We were worried we would have a so many cameras and in our face that day, but we barley knew he was there! It was so nice to know he was right there getting all the footage but not being in our face and letting us enjoy the day! Phil was very creative and pulled us aside for some intimate footage and my husband and I both felt like movie stars! He was so nice telling us what to do and where to look to great some great takes! We loved every minute of it! It barely took anytime away from us being with everyone. Up until the last minute Phil was as an absolute gentleman and we could tell he was an established pro!

I will continue to rave about The Artist Group to everyone I know! We had an amazing experience up until the very end! The entire staff is truly amazing!

I could not be happier with my decision to hire The Artist Group to capture my wedding day. I do not like taking picturesand was not looking forward to the photo process of the wedding. Matt and his team made the experience so much fun that I actually started to enjoy taking the photos. Matt has a ton of experience and his insight was invaluable to capturing some amazing moments. Do yourself a favor and hire a quality team of photographers/videographer's to capture your special day. You will not regret it.

This photography group did not disappoint. They were punctual and arrived at all places when they were expected (salon for bridal prep, venue for groom prep, home of bride, church and then venue). They captured the feel of the day and the love of the bride and groom and all who were present. They were organized and the pictures were beautiful!!

Matt and his team were amazing! We just got our pictures and highlight video back and we couldn't be happier. We ended up starting the reception late because of road closures, so the church was kicking us out right after, Matt took control of the situation, moved quickly, got all the necessary family shots and then we were out of there. It was great being able to turn the control over to someone else, knowing he was going to get the pictures we wanted. The same with the bridal party and we had a very large (24 person) bridal party, but he controlled the situation, efficient, and then we were done. Even towards the end of the night, in the height of the reception he pulled us outside for some nighttime pictures of me an my husband, at the time I was bummed because I was having fun dancing, but I'm so glad he did that, the pictures came out great and they will be a great ending to our album. Great team!!

I can't say enough about The Artist Group! We loved all our photos! The photographers/videographer were all great. They were nice but stern when trying to round up our wedding party so I didn't have to be! They took direction very well with the specific photos I wanted to have taken. Their photos can range from artsy and fun to journalistic which I loved. I can't wait to see my wedding video!

I honestly don't know where to start and I don't think there are enough words to explain how thrilled we are that we chose The Artist Group for our wedding photographer. From the moment we met with Matt we knew that he was the right photographer for us. Matt did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Both times you could tell he loves what he does and will do anything just to get the right picture. Both our families and guests were impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that Matt as well as our second photographer had for all of the pictures. He made us feel so relaxed about being in front of the camera. We've seen a sneak peek of our photos so far and can't wait to see the rest, as I'm sure it will only get better!

My husband and I used The Artist Group for photography and videography services for our 11-22-15 wedding and we couldn't be happier with them! The moment we met with Matthew he was very professional and presented a beautiful portfolio. Throughout the planning process Matthew was always quick to respond to every one of my emails and even helped me create a timeline for the day. The timeline really helped make everything run smooth on the day of the wedding. During our engagement shoot Matthew took beautiful photos and was consistently on the lookout for where the best shots would be. This carried out on our wedding day as well, which resulted in more beautiful photographs. Although we have not received our wedding video yet we know that it will be equally as incredible.

Eric and Chris did a truly incredible job with our wedding photos. They paid exquisite attention to detail and even creatively incorporated unique aspects of our surroundings that I would have never noticed before. They seemed to truly love what they do and made our photo experience truly memorable from beginning to end. Eric even took extra steps to provide personalized attention. I stumbled upon The Artist Group when I was on a mission to find a great videographer that would fit my budget. I began watching the videos on the website for The Artist Group & immediately got chills. I did not know this couple, but my eyes welled with tears anyway & I was touched by the beauty of their day. It was with great reservations that I clicked on the pricing link to view what kind of fees they charged, surely such great work would come at a pretty penny. BOY WAS I WRONG! The Artist Group not only does amazing work but it's all at a (I think) reasonable price!

I quickly realized they also offer photography packages & made an appointment right away to meet with someone. I received a response back right away & had a meeting set up for the following week. My Fiance & I met with Matt & after seeing some of the amazing photos he's taken for some other couples, we had no doubts about hiring The Artist Group for both our videography and our photos.

We had our engagement session with Matt last week & I was blown away at how much joy Matt gets from his craft. He really made it fun for my fiance & I. I was worried that the session would be cheesy & all the photos would look posed, but that could not be farther from the truth! We shot the photos around 6pm on a Thursday & by 2 pm on Friday there was a blog post up with a sneak peek! Less than 24 hours later we had access to some of our pictures! I am so excited to work with Matt again next year for our wedding, I know we are in good hands!

UPDATE! We got married last Sunday & again The Artist Group delivered! Matt & Eric were true professionals & I would recommend them to anyone looking to document their special day. Despite the mountain where we were getting married being blanketed in fog, they managed to make the absolute best of it. Eric was patient when my husband was having trouble reading the card I wrote him on camera because he was so emotional. Do yourself a favor & check them out!

Matt and The Artist Group were just Amazing!! We were referred to them by our DJ, Jeff Gould, with SCE Event Group. From our first meeting with Matt, we knew he would do phenomenal work and make us feel totally comfortable along the way! Matt was prompt with responding to us, meeting us, and answered any questions we had right away. He was EARLY on the day of the wedding and made sure we got all the photos we were hoping for! We cannot say enough nice things about our experience with Matt and The Artist Group. From the first time we met all the way through after the wedding, he as an absolute pleasure to work with. His enthusiasm, excitement, and passion for his work not only showed through our wedding day while he was shooting our wedding - but also the quality of the pictures taken! Our weddings photos are absolutely beautiful. Our friends and family are so impressed with the photos as well.

We were on a time crunch in the church after the ceremony and he was able to get us through all of the altar pictures - with time to spare! His vision for taking our wedding party shots at the club was amazing and didn't make us feel like we were posing or faking a smile. The pictures captured the emotion and joy of our wedding day (and some laughs!!)

Additionally, we hired a second photographer as part of our package - Heather was wonderful, took some amazing shots throughout our wedding day - including the groomsmen getting ready.m

Everyone tells you how important the photographer is for your special day and we took that to heart. We are so happy with our decision to use Matt, the photos were incredible!!

We worked with Matt as the lead photographer for our wedding on May 2, 2015 and he was fabulous! He was on time, professional, fun and funny which made him a pleasure to work with, and is extremely talented and artistic yet organized and is sure to get all the important pictures. We have great photos and they were ready for us in a timely manner- just 3 weeks later and had some photos posted on his blog a few days following our wedding! Guests commented on how nice he was to work with! When we first met Matt it was clear he was professional as he had a presentation and all information for us ready, which was excellent. We also had engagement photos as part of our package and he made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. A week before the wedding he follows up to prepare logistics for the day and to make sure he gets photos with the people you want and he is very helpful, knowledgable and experienced to help you with this task. We highly recommend this group for your wedding!

Matt was our lead photographer for our wedding this past weekend and I can't say enough wonderful things about him!! He was so easy to work with and he made the day fun. I can't say enough about The Artist Group. My best friend used them for their wedding so it was an easy decision to book them for our wedding. Matt was friendly, professional, and super-fun to work with! Throughout both the engagement pictures and the wedding day he kept everyone laughing and smiling. There were a handful of pictures up on their blog a few days after the wedding and it only took about 4 weeks to get all of our pictures! I put my fiancé in charge of finding our photographer. We have been big on reviews since we planned our wedding in Bethlehem, PA from Tampa, FL. The second he saw the photos on the artist group website he submitted a web inquiry. The next day he received an email from Matt wanting to set up a time for us to speak over the phone. We spoke a few days later and we could tell how excited Matt was about our venue and our wedding. He was the only photographer we spoke with and I sent him the deposit the next day!

About 6 months later we all met up in Liberty State Park where Matt took our engagement photos. We were interested in seeing a few of the family photo albums that were available for purchase, so Matt brought a few with him and he let us look at them right there. We shot our pictures on Monday and we had our 30 teaser photos by Wednesday of that same week!

I spoke with Matt a few times between the time of our Engagement Photos in October and our wedding in September. He was easy to get in touch with, always answered my emails, and called me back the same day. He made me feel like I was the only bride he was working with and that goes a long way.

On my wedding day, I thought the whole process would be awkward of him following me around with a camera until we were shooting photos of the wedding card and gift my fiancé sent me and I looked up and Matt was getting teary eyed! That really broke the ice and we laughed the whole rest of the time.

Matt was so excited about our venue and shot some amazing pictures! We would absolutely recommend Matt to anyone!

I knew from the second I met Eric that The Artist Group was our photography team. Matt took our engagement photos and we had such a great time. My fiancee is very shy, but Matt helped both of us loosen up and enjoy ourselves. The pictures turned out awesome. Matt and Ralph shot our big day. They were such an awesome team. We worked with Matt to plan out our day and he made it as easy as possible for us. On the day of, the team was on time, fired up and ready to capture every memory. Matt was literally climbing on everything he could to make sure he got the perfect shot and they made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the day. Matt was also super conscious of the time and made the most of every free second. I worked with Matt, Dan and Ralph. Matt worked with us for our engagement sessions. All 3 of them were beyond amazing to work with. They were so enthusiastic it made everything more fun. They also were great at guiding us and trying to keep us to a time line. The pictures came out wonderfully and I am looking forward to seeing our video! We used the The Artist Group to photograph our wedding on 3/29/14. I found them while searching through the Wedding Photojournalist Association website. We were excited about their work and immediately sent the team an email requesting more information.

Eric responded quickly, and we set-up a meeting at our home shortly thereafter. Eric is a really nice guy, and very passionate about what he does. He answered all of our questions (even the silly ones that newly engaged couples tend to ask after reading too many wedding planning websites). We booked that week. Matt took our engagement photos in August. Matt is not only talented, but also extremely personable, which made the shoot easy and fun. We were so happy with the photographs that he took.

Although it was pouring outside on our wedding day, both Matt and Eric showed up to their scheduled locations early. Matt photographed myself and my girls getting ready, and I hardly noticed him there. Eric and Matt were great about getting a lot of photos, but did such while keeping on the sideline (which really allowed people to let loose). We just got our photos back (over 1,600!) and we’ve spent hours amazed at how many great ones they took. My mom, who is a super tough critic, mentioned that she has no idea how we’re going to make our album because "there are way too many great photos to choose from". The portraits are fantastic, as are all of the candid shots that we got. Even the less photogenic subjects (including myself) have hundreds of flattering photographs. We owe them a huge thank you!

We’ve had numerous email exchanges with both of them, and have gotten quick, friendly responses to every single one. They will put you at ease and you will not have to worry about your event photography after booking them. We are so beyond grateful that we chose The Artist Group to document our wedding day. They are the best of the best, and we cannot recommend them enough; they really are spectacular!

Prior to hiring The Artist Group, Eric came to our home to speak to us about their services and brought samples of previous work. Their philosophy is photojournalism which is artistic story telling with pictures. The great thing is that they are also fantastic at the traditional photos too (the ones my parents wanted). It was a no brainer to go with The Artist Group after this meeting and reading all the online reviews. I couldn't have been more impressed by the quality, professionalism, and flexibility of Eric and Matt. We purchased a package with both photography and videography. A few months prior to the wedding we took our a engagement photos with Matt. They came out fantastic and really made us comfortable with the entire process. From the day we hired them, they returned all calls and emails very quickly and gave us piece of mind. On the wedding day, they were ready to go and completely blended in. I barely recall seeing them during our reception but we had over 2,000 pictures. The biggest problem I am having is choosing which ones I want to frame! The video also came out amazing and has been a big hit with our families. When we were on our honeymoon, we got an email that all our photos had been posted online which was so great. Overall, I would recommend The Artist Group to anyone who wants professional, beautiful photos with a fantastic experience!

The Artist Group is simply AMAZING! From the first moment we met with Matt and reviewed their work, I knew I was going to love their finished product! We had our engagement session with Matt and the pictures turned out amazing! They truly made us feel comfortable and we really enjoyed getting to know Matt. Our wedding day pictures and video were amazing as well. Eric, Matt and his team were great to work with and made us feel special. Matt and Eric also helped me remain calm when we had a couple of hiccups happen along the way like when the Limo didn't show up to pick my husband up from the hotel and when I was running super late. They made everything work and were very fluid. We would truly recommend them to any couple!

I was impressed with The Artist Group right from the beginning. We had a lot of companies contacting us to do our photography and I read a lot of reviews and knew I wanted a smaller studio with more personalized service. I did a lot of research and found The Artist Group on The Knot. I contacted them and set up a meeting with Matthew and we knew when we met him that he was the right person for us. He has a lot of passion for photography and his pictures reflect that. On our wedding day, Matt and Ralph did a fantastic job. All of our friends and family loved working with them and they got some amazing shots. Some of our photos were posted to their blog a few days after the wedding and all of our pics were posted to a site we could customize for our family and friends to view. We are so happy with the pictures. They truely captured the day and everytime we look at them we are transported back to those incredible memories.

Words cannot express how happy my husband and I are with Eric and The Artist Group! Going into the process of selecting vendors, all I heard were horror stories about photographers and/or the prices they charged. Given that we were paying for everything ourselves and on a tight budget, I assumed I would end up sacrificing quality for what I could afford. When my husband found The Artist Group, we were stunned at how gorgeous their pictures were, but we were most struck by how Eric was so friendly, patient, and willing to answer our questions. He found us a package that worked for us and did amazing work the day of the wedding.

The day of, he kept us on schedule without being demanding, had amazing locations picked out, and moved us through our pictures in under 3 hours. I mean, they even offered my bridesmaids food when they were hungry!! They gave us all 1400 shots from the day and we had them back by the time we were getting off the plane from our honeymoon!!

They were so great that one of my bridesmaids even went with them for her wedding (and she is a PROFESSIONAL when it comes to wedding stuff, so I KNOW she was impressed!). I can't wait to see what they will do with her wedding!

When it comes to service, creativity, affordability, and turnaround time you will NOT find anyone better than The Artist Group!

The Artist Group was amazing from start to finish! My husband and I choose The Artist group after a great meeting with Eric. Despite the pouring rain for our engagement pictures, Eric made the best of a rainy day in LBI in February and our pictures came out beautiful! As luck would have it, it snowed for our "winter wonderland" wedding! Worried that vendors would be canceling on us, Eric and Matt were all for the snow. They arrived early on the day of, blended in with the crowd and shot some of the most amazing winter photos we have ever seen. Due to the snow, we were very behind schedule but they made sure we had all the shots that we requested, all without rushing us. Words cannot even begin to describe how happy we are with The Artist Group, we would recommend them 100 times over!

My day was so special thanks to everyone at the artist group!! I chose to do video and photo with the artist group and they were amazing. So helpful so friendly!! Matt even helped me with my dress at one moment!! They are absolutely awesome and so friendly!! Matt, Eric, Chris, and heather were so great to me and my husband! I barely knew they were there when I was getting ready! Matt made my first look with my dad one of the most special times of my life I will never forget that moment!! Can't wait to use them again!

Chris was really great to work with! We are so glad we hired him / The Artist Group to film our wedding!! He was not invasive at all and I barely noticed him filming which is what I wanted.... yet he captured every single important moment that took place on our big day. The highlight video had be crying and laughing at the same time and was put together so beautifully!! I will cherish the video forever!

The Artist Group was amazing to work with! Matt and Eric customized a package for us to meet our needs. Matt was very prompt to answer any questions we had, and did so in a professional manner that helped calm this nervous bride. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and the pictures turned out amazing, so we knew we would be happy on our wedding day. We had two photographers for our wedding, and both were easy to be around, and they did everything they could to get the right shot without being intrusive. We were able to view our pictures a week after the wedding, and they are beautiful! My now-husband teaches photography, so he has very high standards, and Matt and the team have met and even exceeded them. I highly recommend The Artist Group to any bride!

Matt and Eric were our photographers and were absolutely wonderful! We met with Matt prior to booking and loved the modern style of his photos. He also has a great personality - fun, energetic, flexible and we felt very comfortable working with them. He then met with us a few days before the wedding just to go over what we did/did not want. He listened to all of our requests and the photos came out beautiful. They were unobtrusive on the wedding day, and everyone in the bridal party felt so comfortable around them. Matt and Eric immediately respond to emails, and we also had the discs with all of our photos within a few weeks. Other friends that got married had to wait months to get their pictures. Can't wait to work on our album. Could not be happier with our selection of photographer and have recommended them to all our friends getting married!

We used The Artist Group for both photo and video at our wedding this past June and we couldn't have picked a better team to work with! Our wedding fell in the middle of a heat wave so we had a bunch of hot groomsmen and cranky kids, but Matt and Eric were calm and able to get all of the pictures we wanted in a timely manner. We recently got our video back and if you are still trying to figure out if it's worht the money, ITIS!! I couldn't be happier that we have our vows and parent's speeches on tape. I would highly recommend the Artist Group to any bride!

Eric and team were extremely professional for our outdoor wedding. Photos were available for our viewing within a week, unheard of in the business by other vendor standards. They took absolutely amazing pictures and were very organized and on time which is all you can ask for when you have to juggle other vendors at the same time. All of our guests were thrilled how all the photos came out and commented several times how the photgraphers just blended in and were not all over us the entire night. They helped make the night truly special. We will 100% recommend Artist Group to anyone looking for a photographer without thinking twice.

The Artist Group did an excellent job at my daughters wedding. They were almost unnoticeable and very uncomplicated to do business with since we acquired their services 6-8 months prior to the event. They worked smartly and seamlessly, and were able to capture some remarkable memories. In short, it was evident they were experienced and professional. I am so glad we selected The Artist Group for our wedding and engagement photos!!

First, Eric agreed to meet us in Atlantic City for our engagement shoot. We had lunch with him and really enjoyed the time we spent with him. We had a blast and we love our photos. On the day of our wedding, Eric showed up about an hour early and got some great shots we would not have otherwise gotten. Eric and Ali made us feel at ease and made sure we had fun. Most of all they were really creative and are photos are amazing and timeless. We also received them very quickly. I cannot thank Eric enough and I would definitely hire The Artist Group again. They are THE BEST!!

The Artist Group did our July 15th wedding, we couldn't be happier with eric, matt, and chris! They were responsive and accomodating throughout the whole planning process. They were timely, professional, friendly, and funny guys. The made us feel comfortable from the day we met. It also helps that their work is outstanding.They have a wonderful vision and catch the beauty in every photo. We also had engagement pics from them and they were gorgeous. Eric and the The Artist Group have been so wonderful to work with! Throughout the entire process, Eric was always very responsive to all of our questions/concerns and great at giving advice when needed. Before deciding on them, my husband and I met with so many other photographers/videographers and were never impressed. After our first meeting with Matt we knew they would be perfect for our wedding. The Artist Group was great! We were considering using a different studio and Eric won us over with his professionalism and customer service! The Artist Group was wonderful to work with. The Artist Group: I was hesitant to hire a videographer but Eric gave me a great last minute deal and patiently listened to all my questions/concerns. He went above and beyond our contract, giving me extra time and even an additional videographer for the day! They stayed out of the way but very friendly. He was even showing my DH footage throughout the day which he totally loved looking at. They worked well with our photographer which was important- you need your vendors to work together

My husband and I determined early on in our wedding planning that our photographers were the most important vendor for our day. Matt & Eric of The Artist Group were exteremly flexible with our package, customizing it to meet our needs, and remain within our budget.

We couldn't be more pleased with the photographs of our day. Matt's creative eye is especially evident in our bride & groom shots. Both Matt & Eric were exteremly easy to work with, especially for us, since we have never had professional photos taken prior to our wedding day. We felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time.

One of the best compliments came from several of our guests - they never noticed our photographers in their faces at the reception; however, we have great shots from every angle - so they were there somewhere!

I can't say enough about the Artist Group. I just had my engagement photos done on 4/11/10. It took only 3 days to post on the internet for me to view !!!! Round 2 "The Artist Group."
Knowing how talented and fluid The Artist Group was from my Engagement session, I had not doubts that our big day would run smoothly. We were right! Eric and team showed up exactly on time and started shooting immediately. My husband and I were looking for pictures that told the story of our day and aren't caputred through posing. We got exactly that. Real moments, captured in real time. That's what you can be assured The Artist Group will provide you.

I'd like to thank Eric and Team for exceeding our expectation in every sense of the word. I highly recommend them for the most important day of your life xo.

I recently had an Engagement Photo session with Matt from The Artist Group. We spent a little over two hours shooting for our session. We went to multiple locations, inside and outside and got a lot of shots in. We took over 400 pictures!

The NEXT DAY some our photos were posted on their wedding blog. They came out beautifully. Everyone in my family was blown away. And, within a week, we'll have a DVD with every picture on it so that we can get our save the dates out and send some additional photos to our family members. I highly recommend The Artist Group. These guys were AMAZING and our pictures are to die for, I have no idea how we are going to narrow them down to make our album! We had 2 photographers and a videographer and I had no idea they were around all night and we have 1,731 pictures so they were defintiely there!! Eric was so great he even helped me with my husbands wedding gift. I would HIGHLY reccommend them, they are worth every penny and then some.

Working with Eric and his team was a joy right from the beginning. My pictures & video were the most important part of planning my wedding. I wanted to make sure I found a vendor that had the same vision as I did. I was very lucky to find Eric. My husband and I were also on a strick budget and Eric was great with working with us and keeping us in line with what we wanted to spend!

The day of the wedding, Eric and his team arrived right on time and immediately began recording the day. Many people in my bridal party commented on how unobtrusive they were. My father said "for 4 guys, you dont even notice them". I absolutely LOVE my pictures and video. I still get tears in my eyes when I watch my video. I look at my pictures almost every day. They are a the perfect way for me to remember the most beautiful, wonderful day of my life!!

We had such a great experience with the Artist Group for both our wedding photography and videography. Eric and Matt documented our wedding beautifully. It was an insanely HOT day, and they were so organized and efficient through the entire process, making sure nobody was standing outside in the heat for too long. They captured all of the little details so nicely. They also did an amazing job with the video. It's so modern, and so nicely edited with music of our choosing. I feel like they really captured who we are as a couple. They were super professional to work with, yet really fun and easy-going, which helped create a stress-free day! Overall, highly recommend!

The Artist Group was exactly what we were looking for!! Our pictures came out awesome and we hardly noticed they were snapping shots of us all day! There wasn't a big blinding light on the dance floor, like we have seen at weddings in the past when they were taking pictures. Every picture was snapped with creativity. They are truley professionals. We can't wait to see our wedding books!

We LOVED (and still love) working with The Artist Group. Matt was our lead photographer and he helped us through our engagement shoot and also on the day of the wedding. Matt was super professional as were Ally and Chris! Our engagement shoot was perfect and Matt made us feel comfortable during the shoot. The pictures turned out beautifully! On our wedding day, Matt, Ally, and Chris made us feel completely comfortable around them. We have only seen a preview of pictures on The Artist Group Blog, but we could not be more thrilled with the photos that we have seen so far! I can't wait to see the rest. I would recommend the artist group to anyone in the PA, NY, NJ area. They were professional and friendly throughout!

The Artist Group shot my wedding and the pictures turned out amazing! This was one of the most important days of my life and now I have beautiful pictures that I can look back on forever! They were very creative and helpful, took initiative and got tons of pictures that I, as the bride, would have never thought of. If you are looking for a friendly, upbeat photographer for your special day, The Artist Group is the ONLY way to go.

I was planning a wedding from overseas and found The Artist Group to be extremely helpful. Eric worked closely with me through numerous emails and answered every question I had with such professionalism and detail. Because I was having a small and intimate wedding, he was willing to tailor a package that worked for me without charging for unnecessary services. I found my photographer, Matt Andrews, very personable and I completely trusted his skills in taking beautiful pictures. I was not disappointed in the quality of the photos or was I surprised. The work on their website is exactly what I hoped to receive, which I did!

We were extremely happy with Eric and Matt. They interacted with us, made the day comfortable, and Eric was there to answer our questions and guide us through on-line photo registering... even offering us his sign in access to see our photos sooner.

We really like the presentation of the photos... posed and candids. Cool angles and unique takes.

I am overall very happy with my choice to have The Artist Group capture our wedding day! My sister used them for her wedding a few years ago and Matt was able to offer me the same price for the same package, which was much appreciated! He was very patient and made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! The wedding albums we received are gorgeous, though we would’ve appreciated more feedback or guidance about how the photos should be laid out. The album photos are much larger than looking at the layout on the computer, so it’s hard to tell how it will really look. Additionally, it took 8 months for our wedding video to be complete. We originally were sent an unfinished copy. It seemed to have been attributed to some administrative issues on their end, but the issue was quickly rectified and the final product is of great quality and we are very happy! They could use an assistant or secretary as sometimes their responsiveness is slow, but overall, the quality and style of their work is exactly what I was hoping for!

Working with the Artist Group was great! From the start communication with them was easy, and they were always quick to respond. The week of the wedding Matt called to finalize some details. I was on the phone with him for about 30-45 minutes going over EVERYTHING. The day of the wedding Matt and Eric actually arrived early. Our wedding was the weekend of Hurricane Joaquin so I was so nervous that we wouldn't be able to take pics outside. It turned out just to be cold so it worked out, but Matt made sure we got some amazing pictures. We never felt like they were in the way, and they never took us away from our guests. When the blog came out, I was a little nervous because the pictures were nice, but they weren't what I was expecting. Let me tell you, they kept the best pictures till the end! I'm so happy with how they came out. I was literally smiling as I went through them because it brought me back to my wedding day. Thank you Matt & Eric for the amazing pictures!

Overall, we had a great experience with the Artist Group for both of our engagement and wedding photos. Chris was the lead photographer for both shoots and he was fantastic! The pictures from both shoots came out beautifully. I've gotten hundreds of compliments from friends and family on how good the photos came out. The formal shots were perfect, as were the candids!

My two areas that could use some improvement:

1) Responsiveness via email. Sometimes it took a few days before our emails were returned.
2) The second photographer at our wedding caused a bit of stress with the groomsmen (he wanted to take pictures earlier than the time specified on the weekend timeline so they were caught off guard and felt a bit stressed). Additionally, he tried to take formal shots before the wedding, but within direct view of the ceremony venue, so about a third of our guests saw me before I walked down the aisle. I was a bit disappointed by this as I did not want anyone besides the bridal party and immediate family to see me before the wedding. Fortunately, we were able to move out of view, but a lot of people had already seen me.

No one in the industry is doing what the artist group is doing! The technology is incredible, the artistic impression is amazing and the memories are classically detailed in a one of a kind keepsake. The artist group captured our day in an incredible way. I highly endorse them.

Overall, I am very unsatisfied with The Artist Group. We chose them because of Matt's photography, which he delivered. However, the pieces we purchased didn't meet what we were promised. (1) Our album has still not been delivered 1yr+ later. There was 0 personal touch with our photos; for ex, the re-touching of the photos (a preset photoshop filter) made my royal blue bridesmaid dresses look pale-lavender. (2) Our wedding video (promised to be "documentary style" true to their photo-journalistic approach) was really unprofessional. I would be happy to share it (contact me: rattlemybrain at gmail dot com). Sound quality, frame of the shots, and the final editing were very poor. The DVD menu even still has "button 3" as one of the options. (3) Eric, the owner, will not let you be heard. He will talk right over you.

I would not recommend The Artist Group to anyone who has an idea in their head of what they want. They seemed like a great choice BEFORE the wedding, but I was so disappointed with the outcome I was in tears. The quality was nothing like I expected, there was nothing creative about the shots, and they never took control during the wedding. (I.E. They never told my husband to take his hands out of his pockets, and they never adjusted the wedding party so peoples faces are blocked) The video was also POORLY put together. They never double checked the work before sending it and there were ERRORS. And when I brought this to their attention they were very defensive. Again, I would NEVER recommend this vendor. To me the photog/video was a very important part and I was extremely disappointed.

Worst Wedding Experience Imaginable

We had originally booked with the Artist Group for our wedding August 2020 however had to postpone due to COVID (it was physically impossible to have a wedding at that time and every single vendor for every single wedding in the country accommodated these necessary changes). Our new date was May 8th, 2021. Unfortunately, about 3 weeks before the wedding my fiancé’s father became extremely ill requiring an emergency surgery and lCU level of care in the hospital. We reached out to our venue and all of our vendors who were beyond accommodating and just concerned about our personal situation giving us many available dates to postpone. When I spoke to Eric at the Artist Group he was minimally empathetic just ignorantly asking “OH HE HAS COVID?” and then becoming uninterested in our family member once the answer was no. He gave us a couple of open dates and I told him I would be back in touch. The perfect date for us was a date when unfortunately (fortunately in hindsight) the Artist Group was not available. I called Eric to inform him and have a reasonable conversation. I certainly didn’t expect a full refund as I know he is running a business and we signed a contract. I had planned to tell him we would be finding replacement photo/video and would be more than happy to leave him with a significant amount of the agreed upon payment but no longer utilize his services. If he had respectfully and empathetically told me he couldn’t refund any money that would’ve been fine with us and we would’ve parted ways amicably. Before I could even speak Eric aggressively went on a rant about how there was nothing he could do, he was unavailable (which we understood and were ok with replacing him) and there’s no refunds (which I wasn’t planning on asking for). I asked Eric to stop talking over me so that I could speak and let him know what my thoughts were. Eric immediately SCREAMED at me in a tirade filled with profanities. He used the eff-word many times and abruptly hung up on me. I would love to write in here what he actually said but I believe the post would then be removed, needless to say he found many different uses for a specific word that starts with the letter “F”. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he then sent me multiple aggressive text messages continuing to berate me and insult me. I did not respond to the text messages because this is clearly an unstable person who I no longer wished to interact with. He followed that up with an email berating and insulting me further. I am truly flabbergasted that a business owner in the wedding business could ever speak to a customer in this manner. Not only a customer, but a customer going through a significant family tragedy. Regardless of how he felt regarding the contract/business side of the situation there is never an excuse to speak to anyone in this manner. I rarely review things but I felt it was necessary for people considering booking this company to understand the type of person they are getting into business with. There is absolutely no defense for this type of language and behavior in any scenario. The issue could have easily been resolved in a professional manner and we were more than willing to honor the contract we had signed. I cannot recommend avoiding this vendor enough.
