Britt was amazing. She made us feel very comfortable and taken care of from the very beginning. I loved creating my personal pinterest board with her for inspiration and so she could get ideas for the look and feeling that we were going for. She was able to work with our schedule and her flexibility really made things easy on us. The day of the shoot my fiance and I showed up feeling a little awkward because we have never had professional photos taken. Britt just chatted us up and put us at ease immediately. It felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. She gave us subtle direction which added to our photos but did not make us seem posed or phony. The day was so much fun and our engagement photos turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I highly recommend this gem of a photographer!!

First off, I am huge on making a connection with everyone I do business with - Britt from The Argus Image was just what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. She was responsive, had great suggestions but wasn't too pushy, and delivered beautiful pictures of our wedding day that I can cherish forever. If you are looking for someone who takes photos that you can cherish a lifetime then give her a chance. She's creative, enthusiastic, and professional. Her turn around time was quicker than expected - with some photographers you have to wait months to get photos back and she got them back to us in an appropriate amount of time. Added bonus was such a touching write up of our story on her blog with our photos. - Made me relive the love of our wedding day all over again.

I just received my wedding photos from Britt, and I am beyond speechless!!!

First let me start off by saying that on the day of our wedding, I felt like one of my best friends was capturing photos of us. We had such a BLAST having our photos taken from the very beginning to the very end. Britt and Aryan exuded so much confidence and playfulness that we all (including our wedding party) knew these were going to result in extraordinary photos.

I have to say that Britt has such a unique eye for photographing dynamic moments, and I am completely enamored by her style. She has such an impressive attention to detail that were able to remember elements of the day that we didn’t even realize were as amazing as they were! We did not have a videographer for our wedding, but her photos have completely fulfilled my desire to hold onto the most energetic and emotional moments of the night. And they were absolutely flattering.

I completely love the lighting and composition of all of our photos, and I have - without a doubt - obsessively reviewed our wedding photos over two dozen times in the past week. My husband and I felt the full emotions of our wedding day when we reviewed them, and it was incredibly surreal. We also received a package including a thumb drive of all of our digital files, and I was so impressed by the gorgeous packaging. Even to the delivery of her art, Britt pays attention to intricacies that you really appreciate. I consider myself a very picky person, and I spent A LOT of time looking into a ton of photographers. Honestly having Britt as my photographer was the best and most important decision that I had made in my entire wedding planning. I have told my husband about 10 times now, "I am so glad we found Britt!”

This incredibly talented woman, and her remarkably compatible husband, have captured one of the most important photographic moments of my life. I already know that I’ll be calling Britt for my next big event.

We were SO lucky to have Britt and Argus Image capture our wedding day. She was so kind and easy to work with. We weren't big fans of a lot of posed photos and really just wanted to capture the real moments and Britt NAILED it. Britt made herself very available leading up to the wedding, even skyping with us so she can meet since we weren't able to make it in person. She was really calm and cool and not pushy at all - she blended right in with the party and worked really well with our wedding coordinator and rest of the team. I could not believe how quickly we received our photos after the wedding. I hear most people wait months and we received ours in a few weeks - with Britt sending us updates along the way. DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER this is the photographer for your wedding - Argus Image is really the best.

I have a beautiful daughter who happens to have special needs. We needed to have her senior photos done, but I was sure I didn't want to got the traditional photo sitting route because I didn't think the photos would capture her true personality, plus I didn't think she would sit still for the traditional seating. I was referred to Britt by a friend who had some wonderful engagement photos done by her and I was impressed with what I saw. Britt picked a great outdoor venue for the photo session. She was so professional but most importantly, she was patient and kind with my daughter and the photos came out beautifully and I could not have been happier. Not only does it take talent, but it takes that special person that is willing to go the extra mile to really make your experience special and Britt did just that. I will cherish the photos forever and would recommend her to anyone who wants their event or loved ones captured in beautiful photos. Thanks Britt!

I couldn't be happier with my experience and photos! Britt and Aryan are fun AND professional, which is a great mix, and they work they do is absolutely phenomenal. Pre-wedding, Britt was always available to discuss ideas! It was also great to save images to a pinterest board for Britt's reference. Additionally, our pre-wedding afternoon was very stressful and behind schedule and Britt was not only a calming presence as a great person, but she also didn't let anything interfere with her photography. I was bummed because I wanted some getting ready photos with my girls and because everyone was running around so much, I didn't think we got many because everyone was so scattered. But Britt got AMAZING photos without me even noticing. She is such a pro! This really goes to show how excellent Britt is as a photographer because on your wedding day, something will go wrong, and you should know that the photography is something that you don't need to worry about. If everything is running late, or if the bouquets go missing, or if your bridesmaid spilled water on her dress before the ceremony (all things that happened on our day), Britt will capture all the best moments so that when you look back at the day itself, only those lovely moments will stand out. Our photos from the whole day blew me away. She captured every moment--big and small--and truly reflected who we are and how we felt. Everyone looks like themselves, and the moments are so authentic and lovely. It was such a beautiful, fun day, and I couldn't be happier to have shared it with Britt and Aryan, and am so grateful that they turned our day into such beautiful images. I can't recommend highly enough.

Choosing a photographer was one of the first things we did after getting engaged because I want those little details and candid moments to be captured. At first I was overwhelmed at the number of possible photographers, but something clicked as soon as I found The Argus Image website. I was immediately drawn to the style of the photos. Everything from the tone, to lighting, to depth really struck me. I also noticed that distinct eye for capturing the smallest details and candid moments. After meeting Britt and her husband Aryan, I knew we had found the perfect photographers!

Britt recently did an engagement photo session with us in downtown LA. Before the session, she created a Pinterest board for me to gather photos that I liked and emailed frequently with me about ideas. She was very flexible in terms of going to several locations during this session, and helped to keep my fiancé and I from being terribly awkward. Everything was also very efficient; we never felt rushed, or felt like there was down time. And honestly, Britt was very fun to be around. She's very laid back and sweet, was happy to laugh with us while making us feel comfortable. It was great practice for the big day, so I definitely recommend an engagement session!

After getting the photos back, we were blown away. My fiancé and I are not very cheesy, PDA kind of people, so we weren't sure how the goofy, laid back versions of ourselves could authentically convey that we are--in fact--madly in love with each other. Britt's eye for setting and helpful directions for poses helped to capture just how much Logan and I are in love, without making us rely on cliche kinds of poses that I've seen on Pinterest (not that there’s anything wrong with cheesy, it’s just not us). Britt completely, unequivocally captured who we are, and how in love we are, and that’s why I definitely recommend the Argus Image. Can't wait to have her capture our wedding!

Britt is such an amazing photographer, but she's an even more amazing person. She flew to Hawaii to photograph our private destination wedding ceremony. From the moment we booked her all the way through the ceremony and post-processing, Britt was absolutely phenomenal. She has an eye for detail and absolutely wonderful customer service. She went above and beyond for us in every single way. Our photos were absolutely incredible. She really captured our essence and let the beauty of the surroundings speak for themselves rather than trying to make it fit into a generic typical wedding shot. We asked The Argus image to take our family portraits for our baby’s first year pics. Britt was such a pleasure to work with. She was EXTREMELY prompt with all her responses and calls (If she says she’s calling at 2pm, your phone will go off at like 1:59pm). I also loved her process. She set up a Pinterest board for us and I was able to share pics and poses that I thought were inspiring. It was such an easy thing, but it was something she wanted to do and actually referenced during our session. When we met up with her and her husband, they had such a relaxed vibe and were so great to work with. Our 11 month old (at the time) doesn’t warm to people very quickly, but seemed very happy and comfortable with Britt. Of course, her work speaks for itself and was exceptional. She captured so many great moments, but what I think makes working with her “next level” is her process, professionalism, and how comfortable she makes her subjects.

Britt and Aryan were amazing to work with! We had only met Britt one time prior to our wedding at Sherwood Country Club, but the day of it was like we had known her forever. I was so unbelievably happy with Britt and The Argus Image I was ready to give her amazing reviews even before I saw the pictures, and after I saw them I just wish I could give her more stars. Britt was fabulous from the start, she answered all our questions, was super flexible with what we wanted, and helped us along every step of the way. I talked to a few photographers who put a lot of pressure on me to do "First Look" pictures because our wedding was scheduled for the evening time, even though I started off most of my convos with the preface of "I know our wedding is late, but it's really important to me to have the first look be at the ceremony itself." Britt got it completely, and she never complained about low lighting or tried to talk me out of my vision. She answered every question so politely and sweetly and promptly, she even set up a Pinterest board for me to post wedding pictures I really liked and that she could recreate for us.

A month before the wedding, Britt met with us at the venue and went throughout the entire venue showing us what she thought would be the best areas to photograph and asking us for our opinions and what we envisioned. She even sent back a detailed timeline, with important guests and moments so nothing would be left out. And keep in mind this is all before the actual wedding.

Day of, Britt and her assistant were amazing. I kept telling her it was like having a friend there who happened to be photographing our wedding. She was able to capture beautiful moments from getting ready to the ceremony and everything in between and none of our guests felt intruded upon. I told Britt that it was really important to me to have still of the moment shots instead of forced shots, and that's exactly what we got. She was able to capture so many special and quiet moments, for not just us, but our guests as well. She really captured the magic, love and warmth of the night perfectly.

There are not enough "thank you's" in the world that I could say to Britt and Aryan. Not only were they able to capture amazing moments (even in the midst of chaos), they were AMAZING to work with. My husband and I were paying for our wedding ourselves, so we were on a pretty strict budget. After working with these two, I honestly feel like we got a steal! From the beginning, Britt and Aryan met with me over coffee and I felt an instant connection. We initially were not going to do engagement photos, but around November decided to do some for Christmas cards. Britt responded to me immediately and was flexible in coordinating a time for us to do our engagement photos (which turned out absolutely STUNNING). Britt got the photos to me within two days to make sure I could send them out in time for Christmas. Working with them during our wedding and engagement pictures felt like hanging with old friends. They made me laugh and feel so at ease. EVERYONE that has seen our pictures is amazed by what was captured (some even asked if candid moments were posed). Justin and I cannot say enough kind words about these two. If you are looking for a photographer, The Argus Image is the only way I'd go (and plan on going for future events). Loved them both!

A HUGE thank you to Britt, Aryan and The Argus Image for capturing our wedding day so perfectly! Although we had only met a couple of times, Britt feels like an old friend. Her interest, passion and love of her work is evident in the attention and care that she gives to her clients. Throughout the process leading up to our special day, Britt checked in to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She got to know us, our style and tastes and captured these elements to perfection. The difference between cookie cutter "formula" wedding photos and the ones from The Argus Image are night and day. The Argus Image did our Engagement pictures this past weekend, and they have already sent us the gallery of the pictures! They turned out absolutely amazing! Britt was extremely helpful, helping me find a hairstylist and make up artist for the pictures and always kept in contact when I had a question. We couldn't be happier with the photos that Britt took of our wedding! Britt and Aryan were incredibly professional, responsive, and an integral part of our wedding day.
We had asked Britt to take a journalistic style to the day, and she definitely delivered that and more! She took an excellent combination of posed and candid shots, both black-and-white and color. They even showed up a bit early to scope out the space and take photos of our decorations! Britt's direction of the posed shots were spot-on and never pushy (my experience with event photographers before), and they turned out great. Britt has a great eye.
The pictures were finished and retouched earlier than Britt had even told us to expect, which was awesome. We had hoped to have at least a few nice pictures from the day (I'm semi-notorious for acting weird as soon as a camera appears), and Britt took many more lovely pictures than I could have ever hoped for. Overall, we were so pleased with our experience with the Argus Image, and would certainly recommend them to any other brides-to-be!

Britt was so wonderful!!! We used her for both our engagement and wedding photos. We received the wedding photos the week after the wedding, talk about quick service!! I was expecting to have to wait much longer. We received so many pictures from the day that it definitely helped my husband and I live through the day again. Any shot I wanted her to get, she got. In between our ceremony and reception she followed us to a park that we wanted to take our photos at. She was so great at making sure we got the photos we wanted and that they came out beautifully. We absolutely love all of our shots and will cherish them for the rest of our lives! It helps being comfortable with your photographer on such an intimate day, she was very professional. There's much to praise about Britt Arnet as an artist and a person. The work she did to capture my wedding day was well-priced, excellent quality, and personalized.
I struggle with more campy wedding photography with cute posing and silly takes. That's not my style. What Britt did was take a day in my life that went entirely too quickly and preserve it as it was: Wonderful.
But it doesn't end with her craft. She is also a kind person who I was glad to have present. She was in no way intrusive(which is even more impressive considering my small, backyard wedding) yet seemed to be everywhere at once and not a moment was missed.
Britt asked for my input wherever it was needed and listened carefully. I got everything I asked for and things I didn't know to ask for. We have our favorite photo from our first dance on the mantel. Everyday, Britt has given me a reminder of a beautiful day and the promises we made.

I don’t think I can say enough about The Argus Image. Britt and Aryan took the most amazing pictures for our wedding in late September 2014. Over the course of our relationship, Britt was so attentive about the types of photographs we wanted. I would send her pictures of the type of photos we wanted and she delivered exactly what we asked for…if not better. I told Britt I wanted “Vanity Fair” type pictures and I seriously almost fainted when I saw what she had captured. Several friends have even mentioned that the photos look like they are right out of a magazine!

Since our wedding was one week after daylight savings time had kicked in (fall), I was super worried about the lighting. But despite it getting darker, Britt and Aryan snapped, what seemed like a million pictures in every type of setting we had available at the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden. The pictures came out beautiful. I seriously don’t think any other photographer could have captured what Britt did. She knows what she is doing and caught the perfect lighting and scenery. I almost cried from happiness when I saw the photos. WOW!! Our pictures are SO elegant and SO perfect. I want to frame ALL of them!

I would also highly recommend getting the “second shooter” option in the package because you can get more out of the session. Trust me it’s worth the money and you wont regret it (I promise)! Britt and Aryan are an amazing team and since they are married, they know exactly what the contemporary couple wants. They are cool, calm, and collected and SO very likable. I say likable because I have been in plenty of weddings where the wedding party just doesn’t connect with the photographers and the moments intended to be captured aren’t. Our wedding party consisted of 18 people and everyone looks amazing in the photos thanks to Britt and Aryan’s perfect instructions on posing etc. It was a pleasure working with both of them.

We are very happy and thankful we had The Argus Image (Britt and Aryan) for our photographers. Britt has made the whole process stress-free! Both Britt and Aryan were very professional, yet fun to work with. Britt has always our best in interest in mind and is always mindful of what we envisioned for our wedding. She went over and beyond to get the pictures we wanted! She was very patient with our fur-kids who had their own doggie shoot with our wedding rings. She is detail oriented and was very meticulous in finalizing our album and prints.

We knew upon first meeting Britt, that she'd be the perfect photographer for our wedding day. Both her and her husband are professional and personable, creative and flexible and brought such a calming presence to the whole experience. They finished our pics within a week (which was awesome!!), and gave us a timeless and priceless gift. Thank you Argus Image!!!

I was very weary of using a search because how could I ever tell what kind of work ethic and focus the photographer had without a first hand referral. There were many results….but within those many was the Argus image, that stood out for their beautiful website and ample example pictures, loving their style inside and out. I heard back from the lovely Britt Arnett, owner and photographer, who was beyond amazingly nice and willing to come meet with me for a consult. She brought photo books and a warm welcoming spirit that made me feel at ease. It took about 1 hour for me to email her telling her wed love her to photograph our wedding, I tried giving my fiancé a say but he was more impressed at how happy and comforted I sounded after my meeting with Britt. Coolest thing was that Britt welcomed me to email and share pictures of photo styles/poses I liked…which I totally did! and which in turn she recreated for us in her view and were just stunning. So the day off was quite busy but most importantly not stressful!!! Britt and her partner Aryan, got to our venue early, had compact equipment that never got in the way, greeted my family and guests respectfully, and super importantly made my husband and I feel beyond at ease. It was like we had known them for years. We opted to do a first look, which they set up wonderfully and also stood back enough to let us feel like we were the only two in the room. I challenged them a bit….my husbands family only speaks Spanish…yet Britt smiled and gestured to direct people with ease and family photos went smoothly. Realizing how much I have said about this team…. I know there is much more to add. But to sum it up… Plain and simply put, Britt Arnett, owner of the Argus Image, is an incredibly gifted artist that captured our wedding day flawlessly! We are ever so grateful to her and Aryan for their beautiful work and serving hearts.
