A Dallas Icon
We had an incredible experience from start to finish working with The Adolphus. Regarding the venue itself, it is a Dallas icon. Grand and elegant, while still being reserved and truly tasteful. The food was pretty much perfect- everyone has raved about it. The little touches really went a long way- the china and table linens are beautiful, which is just one less thing to worry about renting! The votives made our lives so much easier. While these seem small, the more high-quality touches that are already covered matter so much when you're stressing about the minutiae of the guests' experience. The entire event felt like a grand party--which is, after all, the ideal of a wedding. Regarding the service, I think I'm generally a high- maintenance person, but the Adolphus went to great lengths to take care of us. Almost everyone in the building went above and beyond to personalize an already very luxurious experience. The service was efficient and professional; any issues that did arise were very minor and IMMEDIATELY remedied. It seemed like around every corner was a surprise or gift to make our wedding weekend that much more special. What stood out to me the most was the amount of resources the hotel offered- I would not have found over half of my vendors if Ana had not advised me of where to look! Elizabeth was our personal wedding attendant and she was the sweetest. I am so grateful we chose the Adolphus over the plethora of other Dallas venues. It is one of a kind.-

The Adolphus is AMAZING!
We hosted my daughter's wedding at The Adolphus and found their entire team to be attentive and responsive! BLAINE EADS is an amazing human who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, questions were answered, and details were orchestrated! I would, without reservation, recommend The Adolphus team for weddings and/or special events!
The managers on duty the weekend of our wedding gave us their personal contact information to reach out if we needed anything! The valet attendants were very easy to work with- and the bellmen crew were also quick to respond to all of our needs!
Overall- a 5/5 experience! -

Awesome Wedding Venue
The Adolphus is well, THE ADOLPHUS. Besides the beauty, the staff were all super attentive, professional, and well trained. ALL the staff, including concierge, event managers, bellhops, servers, etc. We had a 250 person event on New Years Eve and it was AWESOME! -

The French Room is perfect for a Bridal Luncheon
Huge shout-out to the French Room at the Adolphus! My wife had her Bridal Luncheon here and everyone had a blast. It was a great way for the Bridesmaids and range of Family Members to meet each other and enjoy the famous Afternoon Tea at the Adolphus. Thank you for creating such magical experiences both for my now wife and everyone who attended this event.-

Best Wedding Venue in Dallas
In an era of brides having the weddings and receptions at far-off venues outside of Dallas County, in the country, you really can't beat The Adolphus for all it has to offer. Their staff is so professional and they know exactly what they are doing because they run events daily. I'll say it again, daily! You can't beat that kind of expertise. You don't need to worry about hiring a caterer because their chef and kitchen staff are the best. The food is excellent, the servers are superb. As-as-matter-of-fact you relieve yourself of hiring all the various vendors at the out-of-the-way venues because The Adolphus offers its all. We just hired a florist (The Adolphus' florist) DJ, photography, videographer. So simple. Can't say enough good things about the experience! -

The Most Magical Wedding Experience
Our wedding experience at The Adolphus was nothing short of extraordinary. From the timeless elegance of the hotel itself to the breathtaking beauty of the Century Ballroom, every detail created the perfect backdrop for our celebration.
The service throughout our entire wedding weekend was exceptional. My family and I were treated with such kindness and professionalism. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made us feel at home.
Our tasting experiences were another highlight. We had the most fun and delicious tasting at The Adolphus, followed by designing and tasting our cake with Lauren at Fancy Cakes. Both experiences were memorable and filled with joyful anticipation for the big day.
During the reception, we had a personal butler, who was absolutely incredible. Her attentiveness and care ensured we had everything we needed and could be fully present in each moment.
The entire event was seamless thanks to Rocio and her team at the Adolphus, who are truly consummate professionals. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their dedication and expertise allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment, and we will be singing their praises—and The Adolphus’—for years to come.
We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Wedding of my dreams!
I got married at the Adolphus in October of 2025 in the century ballroom and our experience was nothing short of amazing. Rocio was MARVELOUS through every step and our day turned out beautifully. All of our friends and family raved about the Adolphus and how great the customer service was. The amenities, the staff, food, everything was 1000/10. Our friends has such good things to save about the bartenders we had, which was mine and my husbands biggest worry - nobody likes a slow bar! Our suite was the most stunning room I’ve stayed in, I have zero complaints about anything - truly! It definitely lived up to my dreams!-

Amazing Wedding Venue!!
The Adolphus was absolutely amazing!!! The hotel is gorgeous and they made a fairytale wedding come to life for us. From our first tour of the hotel until the day after the wedding everything was perfect!! Blaine and Ana were incredible. Both so sweet and great at their jobs, it made the planning effortless.
The rooms are big, beautiful and so comfortable. All our guests loved staying. Valrie was such a pleasure and made reservations go so smoothly.
The cafe and coffee shop were great and so convenient.
The entire staff is unbelievable, they were there if you needed anything. Dan-the concierge, the bell staff, the front desk staff, the staff in City Cafe, were all wonderful. Pedro took care of us and truly went above and beyond. He was so incredibly helpful and made sure we had anything we needed. He even helped locate things we left at the hotel.
The ballroom was gorgeous and the catering staff and servers were excellent. The food and drinks were delicious. All our guests complimented on how good the food was and how wonderful the service was! Edgar was extraordinary. He took care of everything during the reception and what a great personality!
We felt catered to and like we were the top priority for the hotel the entire weekend!
The Champagne, dinner, wedding cake, rose petals, robes...all waiting in our suite was spectacular and breakfast the next morning!
Everything and everyone exceeded our expectations.
They definitely made our wedding a dream come true!!

The best wedding venue
Having our wedding at The Adolphus was the best decision. We absolutely loved it. They venue is beautiful - we used both the Governors Ballroom and the Century Ballroom. The planning staff - Ana and Blaine were so helpful. The food was top notch. Pedro from the bellhop team was INCREDIBLE with helping us move things around and always making sure we had what we need. Grant and Tim from the management team helped us throughout the entire weekend to answer questions and solve problems. It truly was the best wedding venue. -

Beautiful wedding reception at the Adolphus
From our first tour at the Adolphus to the night of our wedding reception, everything about our experience was superb. The hotel is rich in history, yet modernized for today's standards. The packages offered are first class. They treat the bride and groom like royalty. The ballroom, suites and rooms are exceptional. The staff we worked with throughout the process were delightful, accommodating, and very responsive. The night of our reception went very smoothly. The food was delicious and there were plenty of wait staff to take care of all the needs of our guests and various vendors. We highly recommend the Adolphus! -

Outstanding customer service & attention to detail
We had our wedding at the Adolphus, and five stars is not enough to recognize them for all that they did to make it the best weekend of our lives! The entire year-long planning process was incredibly simple, thanks to Blaine and Ana. And the wedding itself exceeded our expectations!
-Hotel rooms are incredible. Not only are they stunning, but the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and you can actually control the AC to your liking!! (Our pet peeve is when hotels have it centrally controlled so you can't ever seem to cool down the room.)
-Dan the concierge is so wonderful and helpful for anything you need during your stay or wedding weekend.
-Pedro and Edgar, among so many others, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
-The wedding food was incredible! Our guests raved about it. Not only was the quality and attention to detail there, but the service was also premier.
-So many perks are included if you choose to use them, like the chairs, stage riser, linens, etc. Of course, you can always upgrade, but we appreciated the option and took advantage of several of the things they offered.
-The private dinner they set up for us as the bride and groom before we entered the reception was so intimate and special.
-The way our wedding night suite was turned down was so thoughtful. From roses and robes to extra slices of our cake and late-night food paired with a bottle of champagne - no detail was left unturned.
It's hard to put into words all the things the Adolphus team did to make our wedding a dream come true. No task was too small, no question was too silly, they truly made myself, my husband, our family and guests feel like we were there number one priority the entire weekend. Every staff member we came in contact with was SO positive and fully aware of our wedding and the details without us having to explain a thing. I know I'm forgetting so many big and little things the Adolphus did, but all this to say, anyone who is considering the Adolphus for their wedding should absolutely choose them. We'll forever hold a special place in our hearts for this venue and the people who made our day one we'll never forget. We'll never be able to thank them enough!!-

The Adolphus- BEST PLACE to get Married in DFW
The staff working at the Adolphus is the best of the best. When I first became engaged over Thanksgiving weekend, I immediately sent emails to multiple venues, hoping to quickly schedule tours and start the planning process. Unlike other venues who didn’t respond for a week or more, Blaine Eads responded within 48 hours. From day one, she impressed me. She always made me feel like a priority even though she had many other events to handle. During our first tour, it was the weekend of the Christmas parade and the Adolphus had 5 wedding that weekend. Even with those competing priorities, she dedicated time to my mother, fiancé, and I for our tour. The tour itself left no question in my mind that this was my venue. She showed us around the hotel, knowledgably explaining it’s history and what our wedding day would be like. By the time we made it to the Century Ballroom, the whole experience had been breathe-taking and I started crying because I knew I wanted to marry my husband there. Even though I knew that this was my venue, I still wanted to show my father before finalizing and Blaine quickly set up a second tour. My father, a lawyer, can sometimes come across as intimidating with the amount of questions he asks, but Blaine expertly answered all of them and left us assured the Adolphus was where we should spend the most important day of our lives.
After signing the contract, Ana Pro, the Catering Service Manager, became our main point of contact. Throughout the planning process, I would have been lost if it wasn’t for her. She was extremely accommodating and supported us every step of the way. Her knowledge and responsiveness ensured we received all the information we needed to properly plan our dream day. She provided pictures of past weddings and recommendations on additional resources such as an app on how to stage your wedding. As we approached the actual date of our wedding, her walkthrough of the event with us and the extremely detailed order of events she provided left us feeling fully prepared for the upcoming day. Her organization and focus on ensuring we had the best day of our lives left us feeling secure.
On the day of our wedding, December 16, the Adolphus shined from the beautiful holiday decorations. The ballroom and adjacent hallways were adorned with wreathes, Christmas trees, and holiday accents that added an extra layer of elegance. She and her team went above and beyond in accommodating some last-minute requests we had to add trees, elegant crystal gold stems, and even re-organize furniture. We had a custom sign made and they situated a couch underneath it so that our guest could take pictures. It was evident that she and her staff cared about us.
As an additional demonstration of how much they cared, Ana and Blaine handwrote Christmas cards to us both years and even gave us an Adolphus Ornament. After the wedding, we stayed at the venue a couple of extra days as a mini-honeymoon. At one point, we quickly stopped into the shop on the first floor. When the associate found out that we were one of the weddings from the weekend, she gave us a complimentary candle. The whole staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel special.
Kevin and I are extremely grateful for the memorable and stunning wedding day the Adolphus helped create for us! Ana Pro - thank you for your hard work and your assistance throughout this crazy process! Blaine Eads – thank you so much for helping us get the venue and our date. I am so happy to be an Adolphus Bride!

Looking for a stelling place for an up-scale Dallas wedding? Look no further than the Adolphus! This place is gorgeous and the staff is perfect. Choosing The Adolphus as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made!
Choosing The Adolphus as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made! 7 months post-wedding and we are still talking about how excellent the service was throughout.
Starting from the Catering team Blaine and Ana; we met Blaine when we toured The Adolphus, she was super friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. Then, we worked closely with Ana to plan our menu and the logistics of our wedding. Both Ana and Blaine were always responsive and patient through the entire planning process.
The bell man, Pedro, was super attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed during the weekend and especially the day of. He arranged a hotel car to pick us up from our hair appointments, and ran errands as needed. Our butler, Edgar, made sure that we were taken care of the whole night of the wedding: drinks, food, trips to the room to put away things or bring things back.
The day of the wedding, the team worked very well with our wedding planner and were very accommodating. We chose the buffet option and they set it all up outside of the ballroom with two separate stations of the same menu, making it easy and fast for guests to get their own meals.
The food! Man, oh man, we are still getting compliments on the food and the dessert. Shoutout to John, the chef, for making such a memorable meal. I have received nothing but compliments and positive comments on how attentive the entire staff was, from bartenders to waiters.
Having our wedding at The Adolphus was well worth it; Everything was just incredible! They made our wedding day so worry-free and special… I could keep writing because I have plenty more good things to say about The Adolphus team.

Fabulous Rehearsal Dinner
Our son's rehearsal dinner in the Governor's Ballroom at the Adolphus was top-notch! We received many compliments from guests about the food, ballroom, hotel and service. The welcome party afterwards in the Lobby Bar was great fun. Ana, Blaine and the team made the planning so easy and the event so truly memorable. -

We highly recommend the Adolphus hotel for your wedding weekend and reception! Paula at the adolphus was truly amazing to work with. Definitely with all new Covid- 19 rules. It’s beautiful and 100% worth every penny spent. All of our guest that did and didn’t stay at the hotel loved the atmosphere and style of the hotel. It isn’t your typical hotel. There’s a lot of character and history! -

Outstanding!
The Adolphus made planning and our wedding incredible. They are a first class hotel all around and our experience really reflects that. We had an excellent tour through all their facilities and amenities. It is an absolute, historic gem in the city of Dallas. They truly think of everything in their wedding package. Their wedding liaisons were wonderful to work with and communicate with. They are incredibly responsive and are very transparent with questions about capabilities of the venue. Paula was especially professional and helpful! We really enjoyed that it was an all-inclusive venue from lodging, to a beautiful ceremony and reception space, excellent food, getaway car, and even the cake. They are experts at weddings and even constructed time during our wedding day just for my husband and I (private time during the cocktail hour and a special last dance by ourselves). All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed how beautiful the hotel is and everyone that stayed there loved it. It was a really nice staycation for in-town guests and a nice haven for travelers. We got ready for the wedding in one of the suites and it was exceptional. It was the most beautiful hotel rooms I've ever been in and had plenty of space for all of my bridesmaids and H&MU artists to spread out. All of the food at the wedding was incredible and we even had a brunch there the morning after the wedding that was delicious as well. They made wedding planning a fun and enjoyable experience and gave us a beautiful wedding of our dreams. We can't wait to visit regularly and spend a few anniversary staycations there! -

Amazing venue. The renovations being completed made the experience even better. All of our guests had a blast. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. The whole place was magical. I did my bridal portraits there as well which was the right call, they turned out so so so well! Will be returning for our one year anniversary trip. Its just the most special hotel in Dallas. -

Not only was Sandy wonderful, Paula who is her counterpart in the catering office, would assist from time to time when Sandy was out of the office or unavailable. We could not have had such a spectacular wedding without these ladies! We got married on the 19th floor in their new ballroom and it is so beautiful! It made for a perfect location! During the entire wedding week, while our families and ourselves were at the hotel we received the best service! My wife spent the day before our wedding at the spa and it was a great way for her to relax before the hustle and bustle kicked in! Augustine and the rest of the catering staff were phenomenal! I recently had my daughter's ceremony and reception at The Adolphus. It was absolutely perfect. My daughter and her bridesmaids had a spa day in the beautiful new spa and bridal suite. The food was wonderful and the newly renovated hotel is gorgeous. The service is the best. I worked with Sandy Howe at the hotel. She was an absolute pleasure. After a year of planning my daughters wedding at The City Club Dallas, it all came crashing down when a senseless shooter opened fire and killed 5 police officers from the very parking garage where we were parked while rehearsing on Thursday evening July 7, 2016. On the morning of the wedding we were informed the FBI had taken over the building where the wedding was to take place and we would have to cancel, reschedule or find another venue. Several of our vendors got together and found that the historic Adolphus Hotel was open and more than willing to take us on. When the bridal party including myself made it to the Adolphus, the Sales & Catering manager, Lucia Rushton, met me at the door with open arms and allowed me to literally cry on her shoulder. The Adopphus is a beautiful venue and the last minute menu was divine. Just when I thought we had dried up all the tears, my daughter entered the reception room and balled as she believed it was every bit as beautiful as The City Club and then some. In less that 7 hours, the staff at the Adolphus created everything we had spent a year planning. Lucia, I can't thank you enough for making my daughters tears of sorrow turn to tears of joy and make her wedding the wedding she has dreamed of since she was a little girl. The service we received was stupendous!!!! -

I cannot imagine having had my wedding anywhere else. From the first communications and meeting with Terri Hahn and Tamara Schlueter Bayo until the final payment receipt, we experienced nothing but attentiveness, professionalism, excellent customer service, and attention to detail. I expected to meet a few hiccups along the road or during the evening, but I cannot think of any. The Adolphus team executed every request flawlessly. The day-of butler, Augustine, made me feel like royalty. He even brought me lipstick during the reception when I needed to reapply. All of our guests that stayed at the hotel had positive things to say about the hotel as well. I look forward to spending many anniversaries with the Adolphus and remembering my perfect wedding day, thanks to the entire staff at the Adolphus! -

The Adolphus exceeded my expectations! I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception. They did amazing job with everything. My husband and I were SO happy along with all of our guests. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process, and the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Terri Hahn was our event specialist there and she is the example of a perfect employee. She was always quick to respond to e-mails and was easy to find and talk to throughout the entire wedding day. One of our favorite parts of the reception was the food. We have had multiple people come to us and say it was the best "wedding food" they have had. We had a butler follow us around for night ready to take care of any needs we had as well. The guests raved about the newly updated rooms. The bridal suite is incredible and gives you PLENTY of room and space for you and your bridesmaids to get ready. The room is beautiful! If you are in need of a reception venue, The Adolphus is the place for you! You will NOT be disappointed. -

The Adolphus is a fabulous place to have a wedding reception. Terri Hanh is their event specialist and she is the pinnacle of perfect employee. She made coordinating with all my other vendors seamless. The Adolphus also treated my husband and I so well throughout the whole wedding process. The hotel is currently being renovated, but they kindly put all our guests on floors that had already been remodeled. The Adolphus is unrivaled in customer service in every aspect.
Also, the food quality and speed of service delivered at the reception were exceptional! -

My daughter's wedding at the Adolphus was picture-perfect. The service was amazing. The event coordinator we worked with was Terri Hahn and she was fantastic -- she answered questions immediately, followed through on everything we asked of her and knew exactly what we needed to keep the ceremony and reception beautiful and on track. Augustine was assigned to help expedite during the wedding and he did everything from holding her lip gloss and phone to telling her exactly when and where she had to be for cake cutting, toasts, first dance, etc. -- all without being intrusive. I would strongly recommend the Adolphus and their staff for a storybook wedding. -

The most beautiful venue along with the nicest and easiest team to work with. Anything you would ask for, it was done! Teri Hahn made this whole experience what you would hope for. She was incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. All our vendors were so happy to work with her because they knew how well everything would be handled! The staff was wonderful in working with guests and making sure everyone had the room they wanted in the location they wanted, and Teri was great in taking care of any hiccups. The catering staff dramatically exceeded expectations with FABULOUS food beautifully presented. Not an easy task for 330 people! WE only had the reception at the Adolphus; the ceremony was at a church. Caitlin and her bridesmaids had great joy in the suite where they prepared for the day.
The only problem was with parking staff, who created challenges throughout the week preceeding the wedding.
The beauty of the historic hotel and the amazing excellence of the services made the Adolphus the perfect place to celebrate Caitlin and John's wedding. -

I can’t imagine having our reception anywhere other than the Adolphus. Everything was executed to PERFECTION. The planning process and tastings were very enjoyable with Jessica. My bridemaids and I stayed in the Queen Elizabeth suite the night before—that room is unreal. We were treated like princesses the whole time. Our guests that stayed at the hotel said the same thing. And the day of the wedding… WOW. Andrew and I showed up for the reception and were immediately (and unexpectedly) greeted by Augustine. Augustine and the rest of the staff catered to our every need all evening. They fixed us plates (made sure that we actually got to eat), kept the tables clean and drinks refilled, and Augustine carried around my lip-gloss for me all evening. The level of personal service and attention to detail was exceptional. And the food… best I have ever had! I wish I could eat those mini beef wellingtons for every meal. Andrew and I look forward to spending our anniversaries and other special occasions at the Adolphus! -

The Adolphus was AMAZING!!! The food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic! The staff was so kind, and incredibly attentive to us. Unlike most brides, I actually ate & drank at my wedding – thanks to the Adolphus staff. They made sure that I had everything I wanted on our wedding day, and more. The rooms are beautiful, and we loved that our guests got to stay in a historic Dallas hotel. We had the honeymoon suite Fri-Sun, and my bridal party got ready with me in the room. It was HUGE - it has a second living area, and a massive patio. The entire weekend at the Adolphus was simply lovely. The staff has been together for 30+ years, and they really love taking care of their brides. I was excited to go on our honeymoon, but honestly a bit sad to leave the Adolphus. We had such a great experience there, and I would book it again in a heartbeat. -

For an elegant wedding it doesn't get any better than The Adolphus and The French Room. We had an evening seated dinner in The French Room for 80 guests and the venue is perfect for an event of that type and size. Cocktail hour in the lounge adjacent from The French Room which is beautiful and spectacular. Ceremony was in The Grand Ballroom. The colors and decor in the ballroom were really easy to work with. Jessica and her team made sure all our requests were met. Even better, the food was wonderful! Highly recommend! -

Amazingly professional and attentive, the Adolphus is a great value! The food and cake were both amazing and if you opt to taste the cake before you pick which flavor, they treat you to a white table cloth, tuxedoed waiting person experience in which you get to talk directly face to face with the chef.
They Full bar is actually a full bar, as you don't have to try to figure out how many drinks people are going to have nor how many champagne bottles to buy. They just keep it going for the whole event. -

Jessica Cates was my wedding coordinator and she was a lifesaver! We had several meetings before the wedding and she was there the entire day of my wedding before. She handled everything in a very professional manner, and helped with anything I asked on my wedding day. From room layout, to vendor recommendations, to food tastings, she helped with EVERYTHING.
The Century Ballroom is beautiful. It was draped to make the room smaller for the ceremony then the room was flipped for the reception. The staff was very efficient and transformed the intimate ceremony space into a beautiful reception room for 260 people in only an hour.
The food was incredible! We had a "buffet station" concept, and the lines were very manageable as there were multiple stations to choose from. The banquet manager, Augustine, took care of the groom and me and our families all night so we never had to stand in a line and our drinks were always full. He even packed up a slice of cake and had it waiting in the room for my husband and me after the wedding.
Our wedding was beautiful and I would recommend the Adolphus again and again. -

When we first stepped into the Adolphus Grand Ballroom, we had a reaction. A knowing: this is it. It reminded us of romantic ballrooms in grand ships ...like the Titanic! The old world charm captured our senses. The ornately painted heavenly blue ceiling felt like we were outside under the stars in a magical place. It was perfect. The Adolphus staff was equally impressive. They were so easy to deal with and you could see that they've done this before and all would be under control. And it was. The food was to die for. They also made the delicious champagne flavored cake with fresh strawberries, looking exaclty like I'd imagined. We had our very own bridal butler, Augustine, who guided us through the entore night. We had so much fun! Then, we were blown away when we got to our beautiful bridal suite, and in the morning, we had the best breakfast ever, and a late checkout so we could head off to Hawaii! -

My husband and I chose this hotel for our wedding and reception because it came so highly recommended by other vendors we spoke to as soon as we mentioned that we wanted an upscale glamorous wedding. Not only did the venue's brilliance meet our expectations, but Paula, the director of catering, ensured that every detail involving all the vendors went perfectly. It also will accommodate over 250 guest comfortably, which the other upscale hotels in Dallas could not handle. Nearly every guest noted to us that the rooms were amazing, that the food was delicious, and that the ceremony was stunning. If we had it to do all over again, I would not have changed a thing. In fact, my husband and I are looking at spending our anniversary at the hotel with dinner in the French Room. -

There's not enough room or time to write on how much I enjoyed The Adolphus Hotel! They really made my wedding dreams come true and more! Jessica Cates, the wedding coordinator, was a joy to work with! She really knew what she was doing and went above and beyond her job duties to make sure that my reception was perfect. All the staff at The Adolphus were always so professional and helpful any time I visited the hotel. They even made sure that guests from another wedding that was being held at the same time didn't get into my favors. Augustine, one of the hotels staff always made sure our glasses were full and that we were comfortable at all times, even after the reception ended. I had friends and family tell me how delicious the food was and what a gorgeous venue it was and I couldn't agree more! A Mary Kay conference was being held in Dallas, so Jessica made arrangements to hire a valet service just for my wedding guests and relocate Mary Kay check in so that everything would go smoothly. I'm beyond happy that I chose The Adolphus for my reception venue. It really felt like a dream come true! -

The Adolphus Hotel made my wedding a dream come true. They went above and beyond to make everything happen. My guest stayed there since the majority of them were from out of state. The Adoplus team made sure they had everything and even put my mother in law in a suite (no additional charge). Their price is steep but totally worth every penny. I worked with Terri Hahn at the Adolphus, and she was incredible! She met with us and from the first moment we met, I knew she would be an amazing partner. From setup to menu selections to helping to orchestrate the rehearsal, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Augustine was assigned to us the evening of our wedding, and there is a reason he has been on staff for 30 years...UNPARALLELED SERVICE!! He was so attentive to my husband and I, even helping my mom bustle my dress and reminding me to reapply my lipstick. We held our daughter's wedding reception last June in the Century Room in the Adolphus hotel. I have been working directly with the staff for months. We had about 26 rooms reserved for our family and friends. Everyone we worked with were very prompt in anticipating and answering questions by phone and email, extremely courteous and upbeat and always had that "what else can I do for you" attitude. The front desk and bell captain took care of our hospitality baskets and early check-in needs, the bistro manager was great in helping with 2 brunches for large groups on Saturday and Sunday mornings and lastly, during the reception, the staff was very attentive to our needs.
With all of our logistics, I cannot think of one thing to complain about or suggest.
If I were to have another wedding reception, I would not hesitate to book the elegant Adolphus again.

First of all I want to Thank Amy Brown with the Adolphus Hotel for making our wedding day as magical as it could be. She made our day like something you would read or see about in a magazine. At the Adolphus from the first time you meet with someone, they treat you like a queen and king and make sure they pamper every little question and need you would want for your wedding day. As our day came nearer, Amy at the Adolphus made sure we were up on everything that was happening. Our wedding was May 8th at 8:00pm and for the whole day, we didn't have to worry about one thing because I knew if anything was to go wrong that Amy would pull it together and fix it! Just like that!!! We had a very small ceremony and cake reception but the Adolphus they treated us the same even if we were spending 1000.00 or 100,000.00 dollars. They really do understand the concept of togetherness and not having to spend a lot of money because after all it's just about the bride and groom coming togehter as one and the real meaning behind the wedding. Absolutely gorgeous place! At first I was very against a hotel wedding, because I didn't like the 4 square walls and that's it aspect of it. But this hotel has so much character and has a very romantic and elegant vibe throughout. They have a piano in the lobby that was supposed to be on the Titanic. Paula Fenner, our wedding coordinator at the Adolphus, was remarkable from the first site visit to the day after the wedding. We were treated like royalty, and hey, it's your wedding and you should be! -

It would take volumes to detail the thousands of small ways that the Adolphus made our wedding fabulous, I wouldn't know where to start! I'll just say that my co-ordinator, Jessica, was amazing, and every little thing exceeded my expectations. Our guests were WOWed by the facilities, the food, the cake and the staff. I got so many rave reviews of the hotel from friends and family, and a few have vowed to return next summer to celebrate our anniversary even if we aren't there). -

I had my wedding at the Adolphus because I knew the following: that the service was going to be the very best, I was going to be treated like a queen, and that my every wish would come true. We had the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom, cocktail hour in the foyer and the reception dinner and dancing in the Century Room. Terri (our Adolphus coordinator) was on top of everything, did everything we needed/asked and was truly wonderful. If you have the budget get married here! The staff at The Adolphus went above and beyond for our wedding. We knew we would be in good hands, but they exceeded our expectations. Terri was a pleasure to work with, covering all the details! And Augustine was so professional, his years of experience really show! Everything went so smoothly, it's obvious they really know what they are doing when putting on a wedding! -

The Adolphus staff is incredible and will bend over backwards for you. The hotel itself is just beautiful but the staff and service are what really makes The Adolphus a perfect wedding reception venue. I was also told the food was the best wedding food people have ever had! -

"Best Wedding We've Ever Been To"
My fiance and I got married at the Adolphus on March 23, 2019 in the 19th floor ballroom. From the very beginning we knew this was going to be the best night of our lives.
We were given a tour of the ballroom and hotel by Sandy who helped so much on initial quotes/ questions. After we booked our date we were put into contact with Avery Eubanks who made our special day happen. If we had any questions or concerns about anything (even the most minor things) Avery was there to help. Our booking came with tons of perks to use during our stay at the hotel and all of the staff from the valets to the bartenders were incredible.
My husband and I come from mixed backgrounds. I am from TX while he is from Australia, so our wedding was a great mix of people. People travelled thousands of miles to come to our wedding and I have never gotten so many compliments on anything in my whole life! Every single guest couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was, how kind the staff were, how delicious the food was, how nice the rooms were, everything!
If there was anything that we were unhappy with, the hotel always made sure to resolve the issue and make up for it in any way they could. The Adolphus is essentially a turn key venue. We had both ceremony and reception in the same room and they have so many menu options that it was hard to choose!
We can't thank the team at the Adolphus enough for making our wedding the most fantastic night of our lives and our families lives. Thank you guys!! -

I loved every bit of the service they had to offer. Sandy Howe is amazing, kind, and willing to put in the work to make it work for you!
We wound up going with another vendor but it was an extremely difficult decision. The Catholic Church near by did not have our date available, so it was a no go.
Would highly recommend Sandy and the Adolphus :) -

We visited about 5 venues in one day in the Dallas area, and this one ended up being the perfect fit! With recent renovations, they have a great updated look with classic features, such as a hand painted ceiling. Guest rooms have also been renovated and all guests loved their accommodations and services they provided. The head F&B Captain followed us around the entire night of the wedding and made sure we always had a fresh beverage in our hands and set up a private room for us to eat in. They also allowed us to see the finished room before our guest entered in from the cocktail hour. All-in-all a fantastic evening and a great staff. We are excited to return for our anniversaries and relive the greatest night of our lives! -

My wedding reception at the Adolphus was beautiful! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Terri Hahn is amazing! She's so sweet and very accommodating. She was very flexible about our requests. Within weeks of the wedding, she sent my parents (they paid for the reception) a thank you card along with a check for the amount they had overpaid ($1,800). They gave us an amazing sweet for our wedding night and a free room service breakfast the next morning. The girls had a free room to get ready in before the ceremony. All this was included in the package. They covered all their bases. The only reason I am not giving a perfect score is because the guests had some mix ups with the rooms. They were told a room number but when arriving it was a room already assigned to a different guest. Other than that, everything was perfect! -

I had my reception at The Adolphus and am so glad I did! The level of service/professionalism is unmatched. The Adolphus has a certain class and charm about it and everyone I encountered (minus one reception guy) was nothing but professional, friendly, and extremely helpful!!
My wedding room block was a bit complicated but The Adolphus bent over backwards making sure all my guests had rooms for their stay.
The food was delicious, and our night went so smoothly thanks to the very experienced staff.
I'm typically a fan of more modern/contemporary styles but The Adolphus has so much charm and again with the service, it was the best decision I made! It's not cheap but well worth the investment. -

Absolutely worth it!
The Adolphus was an absolute dream come true wedding venue. Everything in our wedding day was absolutely perfect. All our guests wouldnt stop talking about how amazing it was. Blaine was great in trying to work with us in getting everything we need. The Presidential suit was heavenly and the post wedding room decoration and treat was a pleasant surprise. We truly felt royal throughout the whole weekend. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!-

The Adolphus was an amazing place to have my wedding. The service and food were absolutely amazing! I was told by multiple guests it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We had a butler assist us the whole night to make sure everything went smoothly. Also the wedding coordinator was at the event the day of. A lot of other places I looked at didn't do this which I thought was crucial for it going off without a hitch. We couldn't have been more happy with The Adolphus and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary! -

We had my daughters Wedding event at the Adolphus hotel. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was great to work with. Our event coordinator/wedding planner Lisa Sloan was amazing to work with and very attentive to our needs. The only advice I would give is to spend more time with the hotel room coordinator and have them provide you the right level of communication of room status. They had some misses and billing issues for the rooms. We also dealt with some of the construction barriers that was happening during the wedding. All in all, I was very impressed and happy with the outcome. -

First of all, Paula Fenner was the day-of coordinator of my wedding, and she was easily the most valuable part of our chosen venue. The quality of her service and her attention to detail was flawless. I have recommended Paula and the Adolphus to anyone and everyone I know who's looking to get married in Dallas. The downtown location, the historic beauty and the romantic ambiance of the hotel are unbeatable. We had about 50 rooms full of guests staying there with no complaints. They distributed our welcome bags without charge or incident, as far as I know. They Kashered their kitchen for the wedding, which is a pretty big undertaking, and they served our guests with total professionalism. Our send off brunch the next morning was at the fabulous French Room...also perfect. As a bride, I was taken care of by an awesome personal butler, as well as a slew of staff who were seemingly at my beck and call during my entire stay. The bridal suite was wonderful, and humongous enough to easily house all the various makeup applications, hair fixing and gown dressing that my entire bridal party required that day. There was one mixup involving the housekeeping mistakenly making up my in-laws' room rather than the honeymoon suite but the grandeur of the room made up for it's slight untidiness. The Adolphus was amazing; I have no regrets about choosing it for the most important party I've ever thrown! -

The Adolphus provides excellent service. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! We got so many compliments. It is very expensive and while everthing is amazing, I just feel it is slightly overpriced. But you are also paying for having the experience at the beautiful historic hotel. Overall, we were very happy! -

After much searching and trying to figure out a way to have a beautiful reception without a lot of hard work designing a theme/decorations we found the adolphus and trimmed out guest list down so that we could use the the "French Room" (one of dallas' top restaurants) rather than one of the bland ballrooms. It was amazing, truly luxurious. To trim on the cost we had an afternoon high tea that the hotels caterer took care of which was perfect on a cold February day. -

I was very happy with the Adolphus until my wedding day. There are so many things that went wrong. Most importantly, out florists was not allowed to put my linens on the table. We had these linens made for my wedding. Someone in the room told my florist since the tables were already set she could not put the linens down. She was not going to move anything, just put the small circle linens in the middle of the table. But he kept saying no. As soon as I walked into the room I noticed they were not there. I was very disappointed. Also, we were told at our food tasting that we would have a private room to eat our food before we were introduced. We went into the room and ate our hors D'oeuvres and waited and waited. Then they said ok, let's go down to the room now. We were so confused why we sat in that room for 15-20 min without our dinner. It was so pointless and knowing this I would not have done this. Also, I had 2 gold rhinestone bands around my cake. They were very expensive to purchase and wanted to save them to reuses later for my daughters bday cake. They couldn't find them, must have thrown them away. I left a note with the front desk for Terri to call me about looking for them, and never received a call. Very upset about that. Lastly, that next morning when friends and family were waiting for their card from the valet it took forever! My grandfather waited over 30 min and they finally had to take him back inside so he could sit down. They brought down the wrong car 2x for my sister in law. They knew there was 2 weddings going in the previous night, they should have had more help. It was a mess. I may be nit picking, but this is their job, this is what Terri and the Adolphus does. So things should have been perfect. Especially my linens and my gold bands were the most frustrating part. I just hope other brides read this and it doesn't happen to them. A call or email also would have been nice, but I got no apology whatsoever.The Adolphus Hotel's reply:

I have literally dreamed of a wedding at the adolphus and based on reviews was excited to start planning
However my experience was very different I spoke with Paula explained I would just be having my reception and my budget was $30.000 for 250 people and ask for if she could help me stay within that I was excited to see what she worked up for me she sent a estimate $67.000 I was confused so I went over it and tried to make changes and she was annoyed with me when I ask to take the valet off she added charges that none of the other brides I spoke too where ask to pay like $1100.00 for cake cutting and a various charges and when I questioned her she suddenly told me my date was not available I wish I could have worked with them because it was my dream venue however Paula's attitude made me concerned she would ruin my wedding -
