They went above and beyond, even stepping in to help whenever someone needed it. Everything ran smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for better transportation on such an important day. We used 312 Limo to rent a trolley for our wedding and the entire process was great! Dan was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with via email. The quote was accurate and reasonable. Our driver Karen was prompt and got us to the ceremony with plenty of time to spare! We all had a great time on the trolley and it made the day so much more special. I would recommend 312 Limo to anyone! -

We hired The 312 Limo for our wedding on March 9, 2024 and are SO glad we did! We got a 28 person party bus and a 54 passenger coach bus. The party bus was for bridal party and VIP’s and the coach was used as a shuttle to and from the hotel/venue.
They were early and ready to go, so kind, communicative, the buses were clean and comfortable, and there was not one issue.
If we ever need a transportation company again I will not hesitate to use this company. I have also only heard amazing things about them!

Our wedding was 10/22/2022. Everything went very smoothly! They were on time to each location and it was quite the party bus. Easy to connect your phone and had a cooler for our drinks as well. The driver was great and a nice guy. Would highly recommend!

We recently used 312 Limo for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they made sure we were riding in style! The vehicles were immaculate and truly luxurious.

We booked 312 Limo for 2 large (50 - 56 passenger) buses and a trolley for our September wedding. We picked them because of their great reviews online, which ended up being such a far cry from our experience on many levels.
First, for the more minor issues: the "modern" trolley we booked for pictures and to ride to the venue was far from it - the air did not work on the front half of the trolley, which was a problem given the 80 degree weather, and made many on the bus light-headed. There were colored flickering lights which we asked to be shut off, but the bus driver said he could not control. They said the bus came with champagne - it did not.
The more major issue: the bus ride back from the reception at Rockwell on the River to the Loop was nothing short of a disaster. I will preface it by saying that we are from Chicago and live in the city - we understand that Mexican Independence Day causes unpredictable traffic and road closures and have experienced it firsthand. However, there was a path from our venue by taking an early highway exit and side streets back - this was all well laid out real-time on Google maps. The driver instead chose to go all the way around the city and try and take Lakeshore Drive, which had been disclosed would be closed. When he realized he could not get through, he pulled over on the side of the highway and asked us if we would like to get off there and take Ubers. We were miles from the hotel and never would have gotten Ubers for those on the bus. My husband, my father, and my father-in-law then had to try and remedy the situation and directed the bus driver back to Noble Square area where we got off the highway and then were able to take Wacker to the hotel. It took us 2 hours to get home from the venue (from midnight to 2AM). With the detours / road closures and traffic at that hour, it should have been no more than 45 minutes. I understand that drivers are under stress in those situations, but he made no attempt to problem solve, had no one to call at the Company, and clearly gave up. Once we learned that he was booked to drive at 6AM the next day, his impatience started to make more sense, but I am not sure how that is legal. More importantly, the business should have equipped drivers with instructions of a few routes to take given that it was known that Mexican Independence celebrations would impact the weekend (we were checking our phones, and Google maps was was up-to-date on the closures). We completely missed our ability to have an afterparty in a suite we paid a great deal for for that very reason. I have been to many weddings and had transportation hiccups and delays but never experienced something like that in my life.
It is important to note that when booking, the owner initially was responsive and easy to work with. Once I sent him an email detailing our experience a week after the wedding - it was a different story. It took me following up 3 times via email before I got to their view of a resolution, which was not really one at all. We spent nearly $6K on all of the wedding transportation with 312 - they offered us $200 off for the issues we had on the trolley alone and did not acknowledge that the bus ride back was a problem. Their direct response was "only 10 people were impacted", which was below the actual count on our bus, and doesn't address the fact that it was the bride, groom and our families, the ones who paid for the buses and cared the most about the wedding, that were impacted. I would also say their buses are older relative to what I have seen with other bus companies. Would never use 312 again.The 312 Limo's reply:
Hi Lauren. You booked 3 vehicles with us, a modern trolley with rear balcony for the bridal party and 2 large coach buses for 9 hours each. All 3 drivers arrived to the first pick up location on time (early in fact), there was no delay on our end. The trolley did have water on board but the champagne was indeed missing, we apologize. Everyone is now aware that on 9/14 due the Mexican celebration ALL streets and ALL highway exits were blocked off by City trucks and NO vehicle was allowed into the downtown area, not even residents. Our driver stayed out 2 hours over time until he was finally allowed to pass by a barricade to get to the last drop off around 2:00am. We did check the AC in the trolley (which is actually a 2019 model and not old at all) and found that the front blower was not dialed to the coldest setting. We did send it in for service as a precaution. The flickering lights can actually be turned off, there is a remote inside the vehicle. A quick call to our office from someone in the group or even the driver while stopped would've most likely solved both issues.
It was indeed a very frustrating situation for everyone but there was nothing more the driver could do. We do indeed have the best customer rating in Chicago with 5 stars across the board and we take what we do very seriously. Whenever someone is less than satisfied we do our best to remedy the situation and learn how to avoid future similar experiences. We did reply to your first email that we needed time to gather information from all parties involved in order to better understand what transpired before getting back to you with a response.
It does appear that all 3 drivers did their job correctly and the situation at the end was both unfortunate and unexpected (the mayor only announced that some of the major arteries and exits entering downtown, not ALL will be closed). In previous years they did allow buses to pass by but not this time. Google Maps unfortunately is not calibrated to offer alternate routes for oversized vehicles and buses (width or height restrictions on smaller residential streets, therefore someone driving a bus cannot always follow Google Map directions).
As a conclusion, we held our end of the bargain by providing all the vehicles requested and at the time requested. We are of course willing to offer compensation for the missing champagne and the uncomfortable situation caused by the AC being improperly set. As we were dealing with factors outside of our control, we truly apologize for the overall experience.
