    Wonderful Venue

The 1910 Inn in Tarpon Springs, Florida is a lovely venue for a more intimate experience. While they can accommodate a larger gathering, we had about 88 guests at my daughter's wedding. The garden is simply beautiful and the Victorian charm of the Inn speaks for itself. From my perspective, it was so much more personal than a large banquet room. The 1910 Inn is so beautiful, we didn't spend much on decor; just didn't need much to add for a lovely wedding.

Choosing to have our wedding reception at the 1910 in was an AMAZING decision!! Annie made my wedding a worry-free day by always being accommodating and working extremely well with my other vendors. She is kind, reasonable, warm, and loving.

The Inn itself is absolutely GORGEOUS!! It was a beautiful place and its unique decor made our day feel extra special. PLUS--it got me off the hook for decorating since it's already so beautifully done. I kept things simple and everything was beautiful! Our pictures of course, came out amazing! There are so many special places at the Inn to get great shots. I loved the balcony, the front veranda, the cactus, and the beauty of the garden overall.

We had the ceremony in the park less than a block away, which was free, so having a wedding at the Inn is really an easy thing! I planned my entire wedding in about four months and could not have done it without the 1910 Inn. I highly recommend it! :)

My husband and I booked this venue a year in advance of our wedding, and it is one of the best decisions we made in the whole planning process. The innkeeper Annie is a wonderful woman, and she was completely invaluable to us in the planning process. She was always available when we needed her(even a year out!) to talk or discuss details, and she helped to make sure that everything ran smoothly the day of. She also provided excellent vendor recommendations!
As for the inn as a venue, it a is a beautiful setting with a garden area, outdoor dance floor, and a gorgeous wrap-around veranda. We had approximately 60 guests at our wedding and were able to comfortably accommodate them all for dinner and dancing. Additionally, we were able to begin setting up and bringing over all of our decorations a full day early which greatly reduced the stress of set up. I believe if I had to get all that put together the day of the wedding or even just the night before it may not have happened!
I also stayed the night before in bedroom one and some of my family and my husband's family took the remaining rooms for the night of the wedding. The rooms are gorgeous, and it was wonderful to have everyone staying together in such a magical place on such a big night in our family's lives.
In all, I cannot recommend this venue enough. As Annie put it when we first met her and discussed the venue, "Just imagine that this is your house for the day and you are throwing a party for your loved ones." The options are endless, and the service is impeccable. A fantastic wedding experience!

The 1910 Inn was simply perfect for my wedding day. It's a charming and beautifully restored bed and breakfast. And to top it off you get the pleasure of working with one of the kindest women, the owner, Annie. Another wonderful part is it doesn't need much of any decorations as the inside is so beautiful. The veranda and side garden are meticulously well kept too. We had the best time!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here at this Victorian B&B on a Sat at 5pm late July 2014 for 40 guests. The Inn is lovely on the inside and authentic, and our room upstairs was wonderful. As a B&B I love this place but for a reception it depends on the time of year.
The Inn faces the street with a commercial insurance building in front and the side patio overlooks the back of a Motel so it detracts a bit from the charm. Let me say the host of this B&B and event venue Annie is very responsive and accommodating. For what was included in the rental of the Inn you cannot beat the value really. We did need to bring in some rental chairs and tables but Annie supplied the linens and we used her antique dishes for desert and she stayed to assist throughout the event. My husband even dedicated a song to me on the grand piano.
It is a very romantic and charming venue but…
There is NO handicap access and guests are expected to bring their own ramp, which is not practical for some, so my friends husband could not attend. I think most people expect handicap accessibility even with a building on the historic register.
The main issue I had was that time of year the sun streams in through the large windows and creates a sunroom effect and it was way too hot. The guest were complaining and uncomfortable the entire time even with the AC turned way down. It also felt over crowded with 40 inside (24 chairs in round room/2 tables in dining room and one in hallway).
All in all this would be a great venue Oct -April especially as guests could spread out for seating and use the porch or patio, not be concerned with the heat and the lights in the evening are very romantic. In summer I would expect to keep it very small as it is just not practical to expect guests to sit outside and inside you expect to be very comfortable (which it wasn't).
The Inn is a good value for what was included in the venue and I would suggest it depending on size and time of year.

    The 1910 Inn's reply:

Thank you very much for your review. The comfort of my guests is very important to me. Please allow me to respond to your concerns:
    1) Your guest (who needed wheelchair accessibility for her husband) and I had four email communications and three lengthy phone conversations in the three months prior to your wedding. During each of our communications I assured her at length that the inn has portable wheelchair ramps. She seemed to understand that. You and I had the same conversation in person.
    2) The inn's thermostat is set at 65 degrees early in the day when there is an afternoon or evening event at the inn. (The same was done for your event.) When the guests begin to arrive, naturally the inn's temperature increases to about 74 degrees. I was very surprised at the end of your event when one of your guests came into the kitchen and told me, 'The thermostat was set at 65 degrees, so I thought I would increase the temperature up to 84 degrees.' Also, remember on the day of your event you had lit multiple taper and pillar candles in each room during the daytime sunny hours in July, although we had previously discussed that only tea light candles should be lit. After your event, you emailed me with your disappointments, and I provided you with the explanations and responses that I have included here. Thus, the wheelchair accessibility and room temperature had already been addressed. Your guest had wheelchair accessibility, but still did not attend your wedding. Also, another guest increased the thermostat to 84 degrees. For reviews by others who have stayed at and/or attended or hosted events at The 1910 Inn, please see:
