Kate is amazing!
The 1859 made our dream into more than we could have ever hoped for! Kate helped us plan our big day while being flexible with our schedule and changing requirements. We also received plenty of great referrals to fill in the gaps in our wedding. 5 stars!! -

The 1859 event venue was absolutely perfect for our rehearsal dinner. The size of the event space and areas for the caterer allowed for great service and no inconvenience to the guests. The island allowed for a carving station at one end, and a pasta station at the other, with all of the other side dishes in the middle – it was perfect! The perfect set up for food, bar and decorations made for a very elegant evening. The staff was extremely helpful, as well. -

Highly recommend!
We had our wedding in October - everything about the 1859 from the moment we reached out to scheduling a tour to our wedding day was a complete breeze with the help of Kate and the staff at the 1859. The venue itself is gorgeous, and Kate did an amazing job at answering all of my questions, recommending vendors, etc. She thought and planned for things I didn't even think of and I was able to trust her entirely. Could not have done it without Kate and the amazing and kind staff. I am so happy I chose the 1859 for my venue. Everything turned out perfect and I could not have been happier on my wedding day. -

September Wedding
We had toured a few venues to find the right place to have our wedding. As soon as we walked into The 1859 we knew instantly we wanted to hold our wedding there. It’s a beautiful venue inside and out! My husband mentioned how we didn’t even need to have that many decorations because the venue itself is already decorated so nicely and I couldn’t agree more! We loved the use of the courtyard area to hold the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Kate and her team are great to work with! Kate is great with communication. We also went through the cater she recommended, All That Ingredients. Leah was awesome! Her pricing was great and the food was amazing! My husband and I got compliments all night about how cute the venue was and how great the food was. I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding! I highly recommend The 1859 for any type of event. -

Elegant & wonderful Night Before
The 1859 is a beautiful & amazing setting for any special event!!! Kate & her family are very kind, helpful, and really allow you to add the extra touches to make your milestone occasion wonderful. We enjoyed this elegant venue and had a fabulous dinner & celebration. -

Having my wedding and reception at the 1859 was truly a dream come true! From the moment I walked in, I knew no other venue could compare. Every interaction with Kate (the owner) just made it better and better. She was extremely helpful every step of the way, answering all my questions and patiently guiding me through my options to ensure it would be a personalized and memorable day. The wedding and reception could not have gone smoother! Kate and her staff were an amazing support and took care of everything down to the tiniest of details. I did not have to stress or worry about anything. It was the most welcoming and beautiful environment. I am deeply blessed and grateful for such a wonderful experience! -

The 1859 was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding! Every aspect of the venue is simply beautiful. As soon as we walked into The 1859, we knew this was it! Not only is the venue beautiful, Kate and Shane are so professional, and they make you feel like family! The 1859 provides such an intimate and warm atmosphere, with an easy transition to the outdoor patio area to enjoy drinks and appetizers while waiting for the couple and family to finish taking pictures inside. It was such a Magical day!
I would highly recommend The 1859 for a wedding, or any type of special event you want to celebrate! -

It was such a fairy tale, magical night
Kate did such an amazing job helping me leading up to the day of the wedding! The day of the wedding she checked in throughout the day and through the evening. She helped make sure everything was where it was suppose to go. The wedding was originally suppose to be outside but due to rain we switched it inside which I am so glad we did because it was beautiful! We did a California style where guest sat at tables, the immediate family sat in chairs up front. It was perfect! The 1859 is beautiful and really impressed all my friends and family! Her husband shane was our officiant and also the preacher of the church I attend. Shane took so many pictures during my wedding and I am forever grateful since I didn’t have many photos for myself. They had a giant suite for the groomsmen and a beautiful room/lounge area for the bridesmaid which was so nice for getting ready for the ceremony. -

Celebration of a Life Time!
Our daughter's wedding reception at The 1859 was fabulous!
Great location, superb party space and the support of the
owners insured every detail was given top priority. We
celebrated with about 90 guest, a five piece band, bartender,
catered dinner and desserts. The out door patio was a huge
bonus to the night's events as we transitioned from dining to
dancing in the main space. Highly recommend this venue for
your event. Can't thank Kate, Shane and company for their
amazing support. You build the dream and they will help you make it happen. -

We got engaged, had our rehearsal dinner, and wedding at The 1859! It was the PERFECT venue. We could not have dreamed of a more special, beautiful, or unique space. It was such a joy to work with the Hardens. Kate pulled everything together and made all of our events tremendously memorable. I would HIGHLY recommend this space to anyone seeking out a wedding venue, rehearsal dinner space, or evening dinner event. -

Your Guests Will Remember This Great Venue
This event space is a show stopper. I would highly recommend the 1859 for anyone looking for a special space that your guests will be talking about long after the event is over. The attention to detail is unmatched. Kate was wonderful from the booking process and was happy to answer any questions during the entire process. The location also makes this space very special. -
