Mitch and his team at Terrace Bay Hotel really outdid themselves with everything! The views were stunning, staff were very friendly, and they even saved us a plate from our buffet to come back to after the reception! We were very happy how it all turned out! -

We booked the Terrace Bay Hotel for my daughters wedding in February. I'm not sure where to begin with how professional, organized & amazing they were. The banquet hall is beautiful and needs minimal decorating to personalize it for your event. The waitstaff was on top of it all night long with clean up, drinks and making sure the reception ran smoothly. Everyone raved about how awesome the food was! The event planner Mitch Taylor was extremely helpful in the planning process and quick to respond to any questions. And it was so convenient for our guests to be able to stay right at the hotel. The Freshwater Tavern has become one our favorite places to eat locally. Everything on the menu is delicious, flavorful, well planned out meals with a great presentation. And so many dishes are GLUTEN FREE! Which is very hard to find in our city. Their craft cocktails are also absolutely amazing, I love the candied fruits that come with them. So high class, and worth the price. -

Our Wedding Day
Our wedding day at the Terrace Bay Hotel was amazing!! From the minute we decided on having them as our vendor, we felt as though we were their top priority. Mitch Taylor did an amazing job of communicating with us in a professional manor. He would send us monthly checklists to complete. These kept us on track and made sure we weren’t missing anything leading up to our big day. Everyone we interacted with through the process were amazing and so nice. -

Perfect Day
We got married at the Terrace Bay on 8/25/23. It was amazing. From the rehearsal the day prior all the way thru the wedding day. Between Mitch and Jen they were always available to answer questions.
Mitch was onsite the entire day of the wedding and made everything perfect!
The buffet was absolutely fantastic. Everyone got warm fresh food.
The entire staff for cocktail hour, dinner, and after party was amazing! Each and every one of them paid attention to detail.
I can’t thank the Terrace Bay enough for hosting our wedding! -

Wells Wedding
My husband and I got married on June 22nd of this year at the Terrace Bay Hotel. It went great! Our wedding coordinator, Mitch, helped so much by giving us a timeline for our wedding day and answering any and all questions that we had. The food for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner was great! Our guests raved to us about our food for weeks after! We had to move our wedding inside due to the rain, but it still turned out very beautiful. The staff were able to transition our inside ceremony into our reception quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend doing your ceremony and/or reception there! :) -

Despite a few minor hiccups along the way, they handled everything with professionalism and grace, leaving us feeling supported and at ease.
The staff's attention to detail was impeccable, making sure that every aspect of our day was taken care of. They were responsive to our needs and addressed any concerns promptly. Additionally, the setup of the venue was stunning, creating a beautiful backdrop for our special day. The team's dedication to making our wedding day special truly shone through.
While there were a couple of areas where improvements could be made, such as communication on some details, overall our experience at Terrace Bay Hotel was exceptional. The ambience, the support, and the attention to detail all came together to create a day we will cherish forever.

I had my ceremony and reception here in 2033. I am very pleased with the services provided. The location was beautiful and the catering was amazing. Highly recommend this venue! -

This is the perfect venue! From weddings to business meetings to fine dining and parties, the Terrace does it all. I love it! The first time I had the opportunity to visit this amazing place was for my cousin's birthday party when I was a little girl. I was so impressed I remember thinking, if I ever get married I really hope it's here. Little did I know, when I turned 30 this past January, I would see that dream become a reality. My husband and I are so blessed and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding. I was born with Muscular Dystrophy and they were very accommodating. Since I have a very difficult time walking, we were able to call ahead of time to tell them what we wanted, and they brought our dinner right to us. We also got to stay in a newly renovated room with plenty of space for my scooter and a balcony at no charge. Enjoy the pool and relaxing hot tub to relieve all the stress from planning your big day. The ballroom is incredible with gorgeous drapery in the ceiling and a projector to display those special memories. We were able to use mirrors, vases, and a sign that they already have which helped us save. There is an outside area with a waterfall, gazebo, tables and chairs, and a stunning view of Lake Michigan for You even get to have your name on the marquee if you choose at no extra cost. The staff and everyone that works there is so friendly. My husband and I even had people tell us during our reception that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Thank you so much for the most perfect day! For anyone struggling to find a unique venue your guests will love, look no further than the Terrace Bay Hotel, and enjoy your stay along the Bay:) -
