    Teresa was wonderful to work with for my daughter's wedding. Communication and planning were a breeze beforehand and she was a calm presence during the entire day which was an unexpected bonus from our photographer during the stress of a wedding. She executing out list of shots and was very creative in getting other shots as well. I am looking forward to seeing the final product after editing.

    Teresa Lee Photography was an absolutely wonderful experience, My pictures were fantastic! She was very professional, and a very warm and caring person. I will have her do all photos of any nature in the future.

    Choosing Teresa Lee Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding, hands down. She has not only an amazing eye, but the quality of her photos are unlike anything we have ever seen, as her and her staff were able to catch moments that were very dear to us. Looking at the photos now, it helps us to not only relive the night, but also feel the happiness that we felt on our special day. Teresa Lee is very professional, and her personality is warm, energetic and sincere, which only made the day and capturing those moments that will last forever, be that more enjoyable. She took extra time to get to know us, what our style and desires are so that our photos matched our personalities.

    We had Teresa Lee Photography do our wedding and I was AMAZED at the quality of the photos! She took so many shots and they were all so beautiful. She and her husband are a great team! She even got up on his shoulders to get a better angle. One thing I really appreciated was that they were not quick to leave. They got there early and stayed until the very end. They made me feel like they were all about my special day. She was really good at posing us. Her direction was clear and easy to understand. I felt like a model! I also got the photos back very quickly. I was surprised! I will use them again!

    Best photographer in Colorado. The only photographer I have ever or will ever hire.

    Teresa first shot my wedding at the Pinery nearly 3 years ago. I didn't know what to expect or what to ask for, and what Teresa gave us in the short amount of time I allotted was simply beautiful. With the birth of our daughter this past August, I knew I wouldn't want anyone else to photograph her. This time, I came prepared with more ideas, and Teresa delivered on those and more. We've gone back now for 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and 1-year sessions, and each time, Teresa raises the bar higher and higher. Our house has become something of a Teresa Lee Photography shrine.

    After 3 years now of working with Teresa, I have been astounded at how much her business has grown. Because I am a repeat customer, Teresa is always our photographer, but I would be pleased to work with anyone she hires or trains, as I trust her and (perhaps even more importantly) her editing! I can spot a Teresa Lee image from a mile away!

    Teresa's work is not cheap, nor would I expect it to be for the quality of the product. Be sure when hiring Teresa Lee Photography to be clear about your wants/needs, and you will be thrilled with what you receive.

    It has been so wonderful to become a "Teresa Lee Legacy" and to be so valued as a client. Teresa and her staff are so dedicated to ensuring our satisfaction, and they've never let me down.

    Teresa has photographed my wedding and all my subsequent photos with my wife and daughter. She is so creative and friendly. She makes all of our sessions feel very comfortable, and I am always confident she will deliver above my expectations.

    The photography is excellent, Teresa and her assistant did an excellent job. Teresa will be our family photographer for many years!!!

    We hired Teresa lee because her photos were different from the average wedding photography, beautiful lighting, different views, award winning photographer etc. I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed! The day of our wedding Teresa wasn't even there! Her husband and a "trainee" assistant shot our wedding, and the pictures look amateur at best. Literally guests at our wedding gave us better pictures than what we paid for! We were supposed to get a Cd of edited photos, I got a cd of photos that are too dark, yellow, and some of them have closed eyes. Our package also was supposed to be complete (per her contract) in 2 week, it took 9 weeks of me begging via phone calls, email and social media to get ANY response. She had promised a coffee table book with our package due to a Forrest fire that almost burned down our venue, we never received that either. It's sickening honestly looking at the beautiful photos on her websites, and then looking at what we ended up with. I can never get moments from our wedding back, and won't ever have the amazing photos that we hired her to do. I would be careful if you book her services, which I wouldn't recommend, to make sure she's the one who does your shoot otherwise you are paying for her "name", and getting less than average photos.

    Highly Unprofessional

    Teresa was the first vendor I booked. I had known her for 8+ years and was so excited to hire her. November 2017, I gave her a $500 deposit to reserve my date, she never sent me a contract. I was looking at January 2019 for my wedding date about a month later I decided I did not want a winter wedding and Teresa graciously moved my deposit. That was the only kind thing Teresa did for me during my experience with her. She had assured me she would help me with my timeline so I requested a phone call with her 10 months after she took my deposit. She canceled on me several times over a two-month period and also told me to not contact her unless it was during business hours. I was starting to get concerned because she had moved to Arkansas and I knew she was dealing with a family crisis. Finally, 7 months before my wedding I became extremely concerned about the lack of communication. I sent her an email asking her if she could guarantee my wedding or if she had a backup plan. She responded via email with “I have never needed a backup plan” “I do not have a crystal ball and do not know what the summer will look like” “I will keep your deposit.” “I don’t have time for a phone call.” After that response, I hired another photographer and released the date with Teresa. I lost my $500 deposit however at least I have a photographer that will show up and has a backup plan. I, after all, can’t reshoot my wedding. I debated for a few months on whether I should post a review however I want other brides to be warned. She would not guarantee she could shoot my wedding however she was perfectly happy keeping my deposit.

    A deposit is a non-refundable retainer, as anyone In the industry is familiar with when you cancel a wedding at your own request. My answers to your questions were as honest as I could be, that I have never needed a backup plan before and things have always worked out and I’ve never missed a wedding in my 17 years of business. This is all correct information that has been noted here, that this original date was booked in November 2017, my husband diagnosed with terminal cancer in the next January 2018, and he has just passed in January of 2019. I apologize that this past year I have been at the mercy of holding my family together during what was absolutely a family “crisis” to put it lightly. And now that we are just a month into the grief process, I would have had plenty of time to visit and make all the arrangements needed to ensure your day would’ve been perfect. I am sorry this lack of communication was viewed as a lack of professionalism, but i was as accommodating as I could be to each text received after hours to my personal cell phone to discuss exciting details of the wedding. I am truly sorry you didn’t feel comfortable or that I couldn’t meet your needs at that time in my life, but it was truly all I could do to personally keep up with a rigorous chemo schedule and my 3 children and my work took a sabbatical for about a year. All the best to you and your wedding will be beautiful, as you are a beautiful person and I truly hope that in your worst time in your life, someone extends the same graciousness as you have to me.     “I am so ready to be done with you.” Robert Lee sternly said this to me in October, 2017 which was TWO YEARS and THREE+ MONTHS after our wedding when I asked when we would receive our album. We waited ONE YEAR and TEN MONTHS to finally receive the updated flash drive. We, of course, had paid on time and in full one month prior to our wedding. Teresa Lee said she was creating a “ clean and simple” album. I call it lean and lame. We have numerous 10”x10” stark, glossy white pages with only three 3”x4” pictures on a page. That allows for more blank, glossy white paper than pictures staring back at us. We have 2”x3” pictures of our entire wedding party of 18 people and our ring bearer is partially cutoff. The three photos of the two grandmothers and groom’s mother being escorted in are smaller than 2”x3” and are stacked on one 10”x10” Page. Teresa, I would love for you to enter our album in a wedding photography contest and I would relish reading the judges’ comments. You should display it in your office so potential clients could see what could be awaiting them at least TWO YEARS after their wedding. Our experience was an epic nightmare. Do your homework and read their reviews. Check out their Better Business Bureau profile rating. We were patient with them through this whole ordeal because they had our money and the power to create a beautiful, thoughtful album. We kept hoping it would all end well and be worth our patience. We were very wrong. I will never forget Robert Lee’s statement. Let me tell you it is definitely mutual. We are disgusted and appalled with the horrible struggle we endured ever hiring Teresa Lee Photography. You certainly earned your stars or lack thereof.

    We got married in the summer of 2015. Our package with Teresa Lee Photography was supposed to include processed pictures on a CD and an album. We received pictures on a CD in the winter of 2016, most of which had NOT been processed (and among those that had been processed, at least half of them had to be redone). It is now December 2016, and we still have not received an album, one and a half years later.

    Teresa Lee and her assistant were our photographers. The photography done by Teresa Lee herself was excellent (the photo composition was great). The photography done by Teresa Lee’s assistant was mediocre (not only was the composition terrible, she also regularly focused the camera lens of the back of people’s head). Only her assistant was at the reception, so we have very few good pictures of the reception.

    This business has a terrible customer service. Its owners are unprofessional and lack integrity. We understand that it takes a long time to process wedding pictures. Instead of being transparent and upfront, we received deceptive, misleading, and manipulative emails from the business owner, who ultimately did not honor our contract.

    We waited until now to post this review because we wanted to give this business a chance to do the right thing for us, but it didn’t. So here it is.

    I used Teresa Lee Photography for our wedding in October. I chose them based on the amazing reviews that I found online. Robert Lee, Teresa's husband was supposed to shoot our wedding. I met with him several times in the months before to discuss a plan and photos that I would like to have. On the day of our wedding, he didn't show. He sent someone else in his place. The woman that he sent was rude to myself and our guests. She was also very disorganized. She did not seem to have ever done a wedding before. She did not take most of the photos that I had discussed with Robert, despite my requests to do so.

    After our wedding, we tried to get in touch with Robert and Teresa to let them know what had happened. They dodged our phone calls and emails for almost 2 weeks. Dealing with them since has been nothing but a headache.

    We finally received our photos 3 months later. Again, I was disappointed. The quality was poor. Many photos were washed out, and others were too dark. The photographer even managed to capture her assistant in the background of one photo. The list goes on. We certainly did not get the service that we paid for.

    Both Teresa and Robert lack integrity and professionalism. I'm only disappointed that I did not know this before I hired them.
